This is the Truth Network. This call will be recorded. You've seen those bumper stickers. I follow a Jewish carpenter. Jesus Christ was born in a Jewish home of a Jewish mom with a virgin birth.
He is the Messiah and a man of God who's spreading the Messiah's message around the world. Is Rabbi Kirk Snyder? With discovering the Jewish Jesus Rabbi, great to have you. Thank you for spreading the Messiah's message, brother. And there's some big stuff happening at your ministry.
Well, praise God! Thank you for having me. And we're experiencing in our ministry, stew, and our audience listeners today the most exciting supernatural thing I've ever experienced in my ministry in all my days. The Lord has supernaturally given me the domain name Jews dot com for a messianic Jew, for a Jewish believer to own Jews dot com. I don't even have words to explain how big this is because Jewish believers like myself.
We're the one type of Jew that the traditional Jewish community says you're no longer Jewish. If I was an atheist, I'd still be 100% welcome as a Jew. If I was a Buddhist or a New Ageer, I'd still be 100% welcome as a Jew. But as soon as I say I'm a Jew that believes in Jesus, the traditional Jewish community says you're not Jewish anymore. It makes no sense and it's not right.
So for the Lord to give me Jews.com to lift up Messiah right now in the street. Of New York City through billboards from one end of the city to the other end of the city, with millions of people, Jewish people, passing the billboards every single day. They go to the domain name Jews.com, and we've designed a very sophisticated website specifically designed to lead people to Jesus, to Yeshua.
So that that's what's going on. And the way the way Stu that I got the domain name is is mind blowing. How it actually happened. Yeah, tell us what happened. Tell us how the Lord opened this door.
I mean, this is all about open doors. You know, Paul prayed in Ephesians six that God would open the door for him, right? For the gospel. Tell us how this door opened. September of 2023.
This is an unusual story, but I had an encounter one night in the realm of the spirit. I was sleeping in my bed, but I was aware of what was going on. I found myself in this spiritual atmosphere. It was gray. It was highly charged.
It was like a weather pattern. If you compared it to something on the earth, where the barometric pressure was very high and a storm was about to erupt.
So I was surrounded by the spiritual climate. Again. Was in a sleep state, and in this place, a voice kept speaking to me over and over again. Acts 2:22 tetrag, Acts 2:22 tetrag, Acts 2:22 tetrag, and so the voice kept coming at me over and over and over again. And it didn't feel pleasant.
I almost felt like I was like being attacked by gnats or something. But it was it was it marked me. And as soon as I got out of bed in the morning, I went down. Stairs to my prayer room. Open up the Bible.
Open up the Word to read Acts twenty-two. And in a nutshell, this is what it says: Acts two twenty-two through twenty-four. Peter is speaking to Israel. And he's saying, "Men of Israel, listen to these words. Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by miracles, signs, and wonders, just as you yourself know, you put to death by the hands of godless men, but God raised him up again.
Since the grave was not able to hold him in its power." And when I read that stew, I knew that the Lord was calling me specifically to challenge Israel in a whole new way, to be much more confrontative.
So I just was waiting on the Lord. I said, "Lord, I know, I know you call me to do this, but I have no idea how I can do this. I mean, how am I going to challenge Israel?" Bottom line is, we started out in the physical nation of Israel with billboards saying, "What if he's right?" And I don't have time to tell the whole story. We were investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in this, and still. Not seeing the results, so after after several months spending a lot of money, I brought my team together in in in Columbus, and I said, "Guys, we're here today because we know we've been called to challenge my people Israel with the gospel, and what we're doing now isn't working.
We're here to pray and look for a new strategy." And Stuart was in that meeting. I looked down at my phone, and there was a message from a domain name broker that I had not done business with in ten years, nor talked to—not ten years, three years—nor talked to. And I looked down at my phone in this meeting where we're trying to figure out where do we go from here, Lord. And there's the message from the email domain name broker, and he says, Rabbi, I've got a domain name that I think you're going to be interested in. It's very unique, Jews.com.
That's remarkable! Wow, you know, Rabbi, there's a a whole wave of attacks right now on the Jews, like I've never seen before. Like I never thought, after Holocaust and all this stuff, that you know there there was a There's this surge of people attacking, questioning the ethnicity. You know, people that are even in the Christian world that are just negative. What, what, what do you, what, how do you describe this, or what do you attribute to this?
It's bad enough for the world, and and for the, you know, the, you know, eight hundred million people that live around Israel to attack the Jews, right, in secular society. But what's going on with this anti-Semitism wave, sir? And how is this a sign of the times?
Well, there's everything. There's so many things that are happening in the world, and anti-Semitism being on the rise as it is is just one of the things that's happening in the world. And there's several political reasons that we see it escalating. Of course, I think many of our listeners know this. People are upset with Israel's response in Gaza.
They feel like you know they've used excessive force. That has caused a lot of political tension. We have the situation. With our being involved in the war with Iran, so many are upset with Jewish people because they feel that Israel is controlling American politics, and as a result, people in America feel like they're suffering, paying more for goods due to the war with Iran.
So there's several political issues at stake that are feeding it. But you know, it's just it's just the power of darkness sowing discord in the earth. What I'm focused on. Is bringing the message of Yeshua of Jesus to my people, and I want to encourage everyone that's listening right now. Go to my website Jews.com.
You'll see how I present Jesus to Jewish people. You'll be blessed yourself from the content and what I've doing. What I've done, Stu, and our audience say is I've given the Gentile church, I've given the church, a tool to share their faith with Jewish people. Many Christians would would like to share their faith with Jewish people. Many Christians would would like to share their faith with Jewish people.
People, but they don't because they're afraid, or they feel intimidated, or they don't feel like they know the Bible enough.
Now, all a Christian has to do to share the gospel with the Jewish person is say this: "Hey, I came across this website that I thought was interesting. I thought you might want to take a look at it. It's called Jews dot com." All you have to do is refer Jewish people to the website, encourage them to take a look at it, and the website does the work itself because I present the gospel in a Jewish context to Jewish people. And for people that want to support what I'm doing, because this is costing us, this is this is I won't even tell you this is hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars what we're doing. If you go to my main website, Discovering the Jewish Jesus, you'll be able to click on the Jews.com banner there.
You'll see. How massive what we're doing is in New York City. We've covered the entire city with huge billboards on the major interstates. And also, what you'll be able to do is, if you'd like to support what we're doing financially to reach Jewish people, you can make a donation through Discovering the Jewish Jesus. We don't have any any place on Jews dot com to make donations because that's that website specifically to lead Jewish people to the Lord.
But for Christians that want to support what we're doing, go to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. You can support us. This is an important work. Christians have sent so much money over to Israel for for for for bomb shelters for. Food for all types of things, which are which is important.
But what Christians haven't done so much is brought the gospel to Jewish people, which is what they need most. This is what I'm doing. This is what we're doing at Jews.com. I love it, Rabbi. We have people listening that have a heart for reaching, you know, Jews for Christ and explaining to them the Messiah.
And of course, there's wonderful passages like Isaiah 53, Isaiah 7, Isaiah 9. All kinds of Old Testament scriptures point to Jesus. And of course, in the Gospel and New Testament, and the words of Christ, and everything in the epistles. But what do you? Yeah, give give us a basic one hundred and one as we pull our chair up to the table, and the rabbi is sitting here.
We're able to sit at your feet and listen to you teach. Give us a little evangelism tutorial. You know, this website's a big part of it too, so make sure that's included as we get out of here. What's up?
Well, give us a give us a little challenge to be, you know, to be intentional, and then what what's a good place to start for folks that want to share the gospel with their Jewish friends? One of the most fundamental principles that we need to understand as believers, both for our own lives spiritually and to be able to share our faith with Jews and Gentiles alike, is the understanding. That the only remedy for sin is what I call substitutionary sacrificial atonement. When you look in the pages of the Torah, you find that there is only one way that God has made provision for the atonement of people's sins, and that's when an innocent one dies in the place of the guilty. In the Hebrew Bible, it actually begins at Passover, where God's children were delivered out of Egypt when the blood of a lamb, an innocent lamb that died in their place, was smeared over the doorpost of their home.
Then they were brought to Sinai, where Moses received the covenant. Moses came down the mountain, read the covenant to the people, and they said, "All that God has said, we will do." And Moses then sprinkled them with blood.
Next, we go to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, those holy day for Jewish people. What happened? The high priest would go into the holy of holies in the tabernacle, then the temple. He would bring in the blood of a bull and a goat, put it on top of the mercy seat, and then the Lord would forgive. Of the sins of his people for the year, because the Torah says in Leviticus seventeen eleven that the life of the flesh.
The Lord is speaking here. The Lord says, the life of the flesh. Is in the blood, and I've given it to you on the altar to make an atonement for your soul, for it's the blood, by reason of its life, that makes atonement.
So when we understand that the only way sin can be forgiven is when a guilty one dies in the place of the guilty, and in that way both God's mercy and justice is served. When we understand that, then we understand why the person of Jesus is Jesus is so unique, and he's the remedy for mankind's sin. To the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. That's so encouraging. It's right there in Scripture.
I love it. Hey, Rabbi Kirk Schneider, thank you for your amazing ministry. You hear him teach daily on the Cross the Truth Network and other other fine stations that carry this program on the Discovering the Jewish Jesus, and that's who he does. He points to the one who came, the Lamb of God. That John the Baptist called called out, who takes away the sins of the world, he's got this website Jews dot com, a great outreach.
Share that, friends. Support ministries like this, and let's pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Rabbi, thanks for hanging out with us today, brother. You are such a blessing. Thank you so much for having us here.
God bless you.
