Fauci, Faith, and the Final Judgment

Welcome to Truth Talk Live. This is Peter Rosenberger. Glad to be with you today. Eight six six. thirty four truth eight six six 348 7884 if you want to be On the program, and if you have something to discuss, whatever's on your heart and minds.

However, today I am going to be talking about something that pretty much. A lot of people are talking about, and that is that Dr. Fauci did indeed appear before the Senate today. I don't know that we accomplished a whole lot. We'll have to wait and find out, but he He went before the Senate Homeland Security Committee and invoked the Fifth Amendment one hundred and eleven times.

One hundred and eleven times. What are your thoughts on that? The committee is chaired. By Senator Rand Paul, who has pursued Fauci for years over the origins of COVID-19. and the gain of function research.

That is in so much conversation. uh within our national security within our government The government funding and statements that Fauci made to Congress, but then in his diary which he kept on a government server, Um his personal diary seemed to con contradict a lot of that. Senator Paul argues that Fauci's presidential pardon, which is retroactive back to I think tw twenty fourteen, January twenty fourteen, removes his risk of prosecution for the batters, that are covered by the pardon, therefore removes his grounds for invoking the fifth. and Fauci argues that the hearing is part of a long running political campaign which is designed to trap him, or disgrace him or put him behind bars. And Paul says the committee next week will vote on whether to hold Fauci in contempt.

What do you think? Was today's hearing a legitimate? Attempt. to obtain answers that the American people have been owed for years or Was it a witch hut? Is Senator Rand Paul justified in continuing to pursue this, or has this become personal?

or a little bit of both. And what do you make of the Fifth Amendment being Uh invoked 111 times.

Now, let me also, before we go any further, be clear about something. The Fifth Amendment is part of the Constitution. Invoking it in itself is not proof. or guilt. That protection exists for a reason.

And we should be cautious about treating constitutional rights as incriminating merely because somebody we dislike. exercise them or maybe somebody we don't I mean we do like. But he was not an obscure private citizen during COVID. Fauci wasn't. He was one of the most powerful and recognizable public officials in the country.

I noticed a lot of his media appearances were On traditionally left leaning media outlets, um news, print and television and so forth. But his recommendations affected whether businesses remained open or whether children attended school or. Families could go visit loved ones in hospitals and Churches? We're open. And whether or not Americans kept their job.

A lot of military guys lost their job because they didn't want to get the shot. And that kind of authority does demand accountability.

So, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the hearing. In fact, Evidently, this strikes a nerve.

So let's go first to Jamal and Winston-Salem. Jamal. You are right out of the gate on this one. And so I thought, well, let's just see what you have to say here.

So, what is on your mind? First off, how are you doing, Jamal, and what's on your mind? I'm doing fine, Tita. Hope uh You and your loved ones are also doing fine. Thank you.

I did feel compelled. You're quite welcome. I did feel compelled while I had time to call in because I keep. having this itch, this drive to get Christians involved into the political process, more into the culture. And this is just another example of how Christians should get involved into the culture because the culture, society is going to get involved with Christians.

And you know, as you mentioned, DeFauci's orders and his direction with with uh health concerns for the country, churches were shut down. And even when they were opened up, there were still restrictions. One of the ones that I heard about was you couldn't even sing in church. And one of the things that should get Christians angry about the the shutdown of churches is that they allowed other businesses to stay open. ABC stores and big box stores like Home Depot and things of the sort.

So there's clearly A bias going on here. And also, you had guys like I think it was Gavin Newsom that was out there marching hand in hand. With Black Lives Matter. But I thought we had to have distance and I thought we had to shut things down so we wouldn't spread. the disease around.

So Chris, if you did get involved, this is another prime example of that.

Well, you're absolutely right. There was a, and I think that's what's got. this thing so polarizes because so many people saw the double standard. And when he's telling people that we have to say goodbye to loved ones from a distance or we stand six feet apart, and I the six the six foot rule clearly has come out now that that was just arbitrary. And uh But then he's going over dinner.

at Jake Tapper in his wife's house. During a time where we were having to separate.

So that can uh you that could certainly cause a lot of hard feelings. What do you think? I would definitely think so. And that's just another way that they they try to come against Christians. I'm pretty sure you and the listeners remember how Joe Biden came out and gave that speech about how the Magica folks represent a clear and present danger against the American society.

That's literal war terminology. And Joe Biden said that because You had a lot of Christian conservatives that were going against a lot of orders coming from that administration.

So he felt like, well, let me just try to squash some of this rhetoric, some of this blowback and just say these guys represent clear presentation. Maybe that'll show them up. Maybe that'll draw a line of the sand to say these guys are America's enemies. Say, wait, hold on, we're not enemies. We just like having free speech.

I thought the science community liked second, third, and fourth opinions, and so on. But because we have a different opinion than what the administration has, all of a sudden we're enemy number one.

So that that's again yet another reason why as good as freedom of speech and Robbie get involved into uh politics and every form of uh this culture.

Well, one of the things that they said was, don't question the science. And I'm thinking the first rule of science is to question everything. And that's f I learned that back in junior high. And uh, but Jamal, when you say that Christians need to get more involved, besides voting and posting opinions online and that kind of thing, what do you think? What do you recommend?

What do you think about that? What are some things that you feel like we ought to do?

Well, Mr. Rosenberg, that has to be God talking through you, because that's a real layup for me. Um, and I'll try to shorten this answer for the for the sake of time. Um some friends of mine at the Conservative Lunch here in Winston-Salem, they got me involved in going down to different boards of our society, meaning school board. where they make decisions on behalf of schools.

going down to the Commissioner's Board, where they write the checks on behalf of the county. you know, the the mic money pressures. Then going down to city council meetings where they write the laws. I tell you, and that's another thing that COVID opened up. They really exposed a lot of things that was going behind closed doors or at least going on while we were asleep and not paying attention.

But since they got me going to these school board, commissioners' boards and city council meetings, I saw a lot that shocked me. I saw how they had it. And I assume, by the way, that's shock, not in a good way, shock. Not in a not in a good way, unfortunately not. Um they had pornography in schools.

Uh they were Having financial policies that were not really for the benefit of everybody. And at the city council, they were approving laws that were again were not for the benefit of everybody, meaning talking about defund the police and you know things like that So one good way to get involved is to go down to these boards. Again, school board, commissioner's board, city council, and voice your opinion. Know what's going on, take a friend and get involved. Could I hear the music?

Fauci's appearance before. The uh Homeland Security Committee. Chaired by Senator Rampaul of Kentucky. And I met him one time at the airport there in Nashville, real nice fella. But I went up just to introduce myself to him.

You could see he was a little bit guarded.

So I think these guys are all on edge a little bit. But Dr. Fauci was everywhere. I mean, all over the media. I mean, there wasn't a day that goes by that he wasn't somewhere doing something and on covers of magazine and everything else.

But today he invoked the Fifth Amendment. one hundred and eleven times. And then they brought out the fact that he has a presidential pardon signed by Joe Biden. Allegedly. And it's um Uh it's his goes back to twenty fourteen.

January twenty fourteen. But here's the good news I want to share with you. We'll get into all that stuff and I've got callers that are teed up and want to talk about this. But Dr. Fauci's part presidential pardon goes back to January 1, 2014.

Which is kind of an odd time to do that. But my part. goes back before the foundation of the world. And that's great news. That doesn't mean I don't have to give an account because I'm certainly guilty.

And I can't help but think about that every time we get into these kinds of conversations about us standing before Christ. We'll talk about that in a moment, but Brady wants to weigh in. Brady is from Minnesota. And Brady, welcome to the program. Thanks for taking the time to call.

Uh what is on your mind today?

Well, I think he's still talking to the producer there, so he must be doing. But anyway, we'll get to Brady here in just a moment. But as as I watch this thing unfold today, And as I alluded to this, every time I see somebody raise their right hand. and swear to tell the truth and Nothing but the truth. Whether it's in a congressional hearing, whether it's in a military tribunal, or you know, a courtroom, so forth.

Every time I see that. I can't help but think of when we're going to stand before the truth. And Yeah. have to give it an account. We can't plead the fifth there.

There's not going to be any partisan committee. There won't be any carefully prepared opening statement. Think about that for just a moment. I watched that today when Dr. Fauci made his opening statement.

Senator Paul made his opening statement. There ain't going to be no opening statements on there. We're going to be standing before the truth, and there's not going to be any attorney whispering in our ear. And there's not going to be any friendly senator that's redirecting the question. No one's going to claim that our words were misquoted, misunderstood, or taken out of context.

So we see today what it looks like for man to deal with truth. Can you imagine? for a moment when we have to stand before God and we have to deal with the truth one on one. And I don't mean the truth as we like.

Sometimes people say it's my truth and your truth. No, we're going to deal with the truth. And the truth. you know We're all going to be there.

Now how would you like to face that? On your own merits. How would you like to stand before A holy God. and face that on your own merits. How do you think that'll play out?

Because I watched this today. And I look at all the The Pretzels people were turning themselves into to spin this to whatever their. political bent is. And I watched some of these people say, well, this is a witch hunt, and Rand Paul just obviously doesn't like him, and yada, yada, yada, yada, yada. And then others are saying, wait a minute, wait a minute.

This is a guy that went out there and said all these things. And then as we said that it didn't come from Wuhan. The the viral institute, it came from some kind of wet market or something. And then it turns out that's not true. And so they're all turning themselves into pretzels.

Then his diary comes out, and that's pretty incriminating. I mean, it it it paints a picture of somebody who is uh very much consumed with fame. But but the the the If you step back from all of that in a moment, no matter where you fit, maybe you just absolutely love Dr. Fauci and you think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Maybe you think he is evil incarnate and he's Doctor Evil.

You know, but whatever it is, step back for just a moment. And look at the proceedings and look how. Mankind deals with these things.

Now think higher. and what it's going to be like because everyone in that room And everyone listening to this program today. And me on this microphone. And Nick in our production booth, and everybody at the Truth Network, and everybody you're drive, if you're in your car driving, every one of those people that you see in those cars, every one of us. are going to have to have that moment.

When we stand before a holy God. And we're going to have a list of things. Actually, I kind of even wonder if we're going to even have the list. I think it's just going to come it's you know, when you see any time that that there is a an encounter with God's holiness, You see people did just fall on their faces. They're they're terrified.

Isaiah said, You know, put his hand over his mouth. Whoa, it was me. I'm undone. You know, when Peter Was at the seashore and he tell of Galilee and he tells Jesus, Depart from me, I am unclean. I I'm a sinner.

You know, I think that's a shadow of what we're going to experience. We're not going to play the fifth, are we? And there's no other place to go but guilty.

Now the question is Is that what we're left with? but those who are found in Christ. There's a different story. Because we have one that not just gives a presidential pardon. A presidential pardon doesn't mean that you didn't do it.

It just means the president has pardoned you from the punitive actions thereof. But see, that's the difference between what we have in Christ. We are There's three imputations. If you'll allow me to get into theology for a moment, because if we don't understand these things as believers, how can we share it with other people? When Adam sinned, What does scripture say?

All sin. For in Adam, we all sinned. and it was Adam's sin was imputed to us. It was It it we're we're infected with it. We think COVID was bad.

We we don't know COVID is is nothing compared to sin. And Look what we did with COVID. globally. But if we could see sin more clearly for what it really is, And it was imputed to all of mankind were all affected by this. Total depravity.

Now, there's a difference between total depravity and utter depravity, but total depravity, it's infected in us. We are systemically Affected by this, And then That sin was imputed to Christ, who bore the penalty for that. But there's a third imputation that we forget about. We don't teach it as much. I don't know why we don't, but there it is.

Is that his righteousness, which he lived a perfect righteous life? was imputed to us. We have the righteousness of Christ. We're clothed in His righteousness. A faultless to stand before the throne, as the hymn writer said.

My hope is built on Jesus' blood. And righteousness. Faultless to stand before the throne.

Now as you think about that, think about what happened with with Anthony Fauci today. He's there. I don't know where you stand on that. But That is a that was a pretty uncomfortable place for everybody, for the whole nation to watch this. This guy was everywhere.

He was a medical doctor, public health. We wanted to trust him and And Half the country thinks he lied and usurped and and did some terrible things and caused untold damage. And I don't know if it's half, but you know, a significant portion of the country. and they land on either side. But that is nothing.

That is nothing compared. to the hearing that we're going to face. That's the reality of what Scripture tells us. All have said and fall short of the glory of God. But there's more.

Uh last week we had a uh a really good conversation about Tyndale and we got into church history a little bit. And this is something that Piques my interest a lot is to how did we get here and what brought us to this point. And I think when you see things like today with Fauci and so forth, and people say, Well, what difference does it matter now?

Well, that's what Hillary Clinton said when we had to go back and look at some things that happened in Benghazi. And she was famous for saying there in the Senate hearing, Well, what difference does it matter?

Well, can you imagine saying that before God?

Well, that was a long time ago, God. What difference does it matter now? You know, I mean, the hubris that people have is a little bit breathtaking. And I put me in that category, my own hubris. because I don't think we realize how big a deal sin is, and that God doesn't forget these things.

You know, his justice may not be as quick as we would like it. But it is exceedingly fine. and it will be perfect. And it is perfect. If we say God's love is perfect, He can't have perfect love without perfect justice.

And that should pause, give us a lot of pause to think about that. Because as we see Anthony Fauci's squirming, under the glare of the lights.

Now he liked the lights when he was being a a media darling, but he didn't particularly care for those lights to day. And that is a That is a tiny picture. really of what awaits us, but we're not going to be able to say what difference does it make. Yeah, well that was a long time ago. Tim Waltz, uh governor of Minnesota.

You may know him. He uh he pardoned that guy that was the, um Pedophile. and uh was sexually abusing and and raping a a child for over two years. And his comment was, Well, we don't want to judge somebody by their worst day.

Well Is that is that justice? Does that make sense to you? And so, anyway, I write about things like these, and how did we get here? I'm not interested necessarily in the minutiae of. of each individual case, but you see the broader picture of how did we get here?

I I live in Montana. We have a lot of cows out here. And I've been hearing this my entire adult life from people like Ted Turner, and now Bill Gates is really into that. And but a lot of environmentalists who are saying that we need to get rid of cows, we need to eat bugs or something. I don't know what they want us to do.

And That but I wrote about that and I spent some time with ranchers. We have cattle on this property. Bill Gates has one of his homes, it's about 40 miles. to the southeast of us. And I I I I can't even wrap my mind around how much was spent on building that home, energy wise, material wise and so forth, and then heating and cooling and then transport back and forth on private jets and things such as that.

And yet somehow the cow Faces his wrath. And so, if you want to see that, I wrote about that. And it's a Uh but you don't see many Articles about cow flatulence, but leave it to me to do it. I'll do it. I'll write an article about cow.

Hey, listen, if we're going to talk about Taco Bell and explosive diarrhea, then I'll write about cows and cow flatulence. But anyway, 866-34-TRUTH-866-348-7884. And we've been talking about the appearance today before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. where Dr. Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment 111 terms.

And the question we have to ask is, okay. Is there a there there? Is there a smoking gun? What will happen? Will anything happen?

Do you think, I mean, the guy's 80, what, 84, 85 years old. You think he's gonna spend any time behind bars? Do you think he needs to spend time behind bars? Do you think that there's anything going to happen? with this, does anything ever happen with this?

And of course, as we watch this, Uh it Depending on where you land on this politically, and depending on where you land on this ideologically, and so forth. It can cause you to despair, rejoice, get mad, whatever else. But always keep in mind. And this network is a Christian network. Proclaiming the gospel, always keep in mind that we have a greater.

hearing that we will face. and that God's justice like his love. is perfect. You don't hear a lot of songs. We all hear a lot of songs about God is love, God is love, God is love, God is love.

We hear that all the time. But do we hear God is just? He is faithful and just. Do we hear that? Do we do we spend time with that?

And so I would encourage you that as you watch these things, it may cause you to dismay. The scripture says when the wicked rule, the people groan, and there may be groaning going on. And we've certainly seen this. Because we're you know i if We talked about this a while back when we talked about our 250th anniversary here: that if we were a perfect nation, We wouldn't need checks and balances. If mankind was basically good, we wouldn't need checks and balances.

And also, if we're such a corrupt nation and so oppressive and racist, then you kind of have to wonder why so many people are immigrating here. But, you know, that's a different story.

Well, We're going to go to the phone lines because Jonathan wants to talk about cattle in Montana, a subject of which I know a little bit about.

So, Jonathan, welcome to the program. How are you doing? And thanks for calling. Oh, I'm doing great. Thank you for having me.

I lived up in Montana for about five and a half years. happened to work for one of the land management agencies up there.

So I have intimate knowledge of all sides of the coin on how that land is managed from the ranchers and the agricultural producers as well as what the environmentalists and some of the recreationalists are interested in there. And I I have to say from what I witnessed, The agricultural producers, the ranchers, the ones who are running cows on that land. are actually the best stewards of that land out there. They make a point to take care of the land because their livelihood depends upon it. Exactly.

Yeah, and and and contrary The environmentalists who are trying to lock that land up. I don't think they intended to, but inadvertently, what they did was they made the wildfire conditions far worse. Because they restricted a lot of the, um A lot of the timber sales They they made it really difficult for people to come in there and and be Proper steward of that land.

So a lot of the fuel's built up over time and now the Many of the wildfires that come out of there are stand-destroying wildfires. And I think that they've learned we've started to learn that lesson and we've taken a different approach to. managing the the the forest up there, but I have a son who's a wildland firefighter. And I definitely know the difference between what's proper management and what's not. And I think that the Um The the timber sales in in a sustainable way that It cuts down the timber and allows some of the stand to remain.

Is really important. I know there's a forester out of Lewistown, Rich Byron. He did a great job at that, along with Austin DeShaita. And um yeah. I I agree 100% with what you're saying there, that the uh this notion about cows destroying the environment is absolute nonsense.

Well, we On our property here, we we're up pretty high. And so it's not good for year-round grazing, but it's really good for summer grazing. And what we do is we partner with local ranchers and they come up and bring their cows up here. We've got some up here right now, they graze. This place to keep it down.

So, because if you get a lightning strike and you've got a lot of grass on this land and it's not been eaten. Then it's going to turn into a wildfire pretty quick. I watched that happen last summer. We had it during fire season. and 3,500 acres burned within a matter of less than twenty hours.

And so we get the high winds, it's pretty dry, and so forth. And so, and as I'm watching the smoke now that's settling over this valley, and I'm thinking, how much you can't stop. Lightning strikes. I mean, wildfires are going to happen. They've been happening since, you know, we've had lightning.

However, you can mitigate and our first job in the garden was was Adam's first assignment by God was to what? Tend the garden. You know, we're and tending the land doesn't mean it gets untouched. It just means we're being good stewards of it. And so we have these ranchers that come up here, they'll examine every part of the land.

To see where the access to water, the kind of vegetation, all that kind of stuff. We logged off a lot of trees off of this property, open it up so that we get more, less crowded, like you said. all those kinds of things. And so I look at somebody like Bill Gates and I look at the lifestyle he lives and yet he is singling out the cow, but he doesn't single out the Communist Party of China. who are doing far more to hurt the environment than any cow is doing.

And then you look at the wildfires that are happening right now because this thing within Canada and so forth. And I thought, okay, these people are not living by the same. rules that they're wanting to impose. And I think that speaks a lot to pretty much the way a lot of things happen in government. Rules for well, I looked at Mom Dami in New York.

He said everybody's got to turn their thermostat up to seventy eight, but Taylor Swift gets Madison Square Garden for a wedding.

Now you think her thermostat was set to seventy eight at Madison Square Gardens? Absolutely not. I definitely appreciate that. I think the this. These globalists, these communist globalists who are pushing their agenda on us, have no intention of abiding by themselves other than just by gesture at best.

And really what what it's all about is taking away our freedoms. When you look at Every one of these little steps that they're doing, they're trying to remove the the freedoms of Americans. Here in our own land. And every one of these regulations that they try to put in in place are uh rules that they try to to bring in through through bureaucratic uh management. It's all designed to strip away our freedoms and our ability to use the land as God intended for us to use it.

Uh to be wise stewards of it. And instead it's it's It's a condescending attitude that they have that says we know better. when in fact they don't. You know, Jamal called on the last part of the first part of the show and He really has a burden for Christians to get more and more involved. in politics, particularly local politics.

What are your th If can you hang on through the break? I'd like to hear your thoughts on that, Jonathan, when it comes to this issue. Can you hang on to can you hang on to the brake?

But I can't expect a TikToker in Starbucks to understand that as they give advice to a three-generation rancher in Montana.

But anyway, Jonathan, we were talking about this and he's weighed in because he's dealt with these things. He's worked the land. These people here, they know the land. And I encourage so many people to seek out local farmers, local ranchers, and buy their beef from them. Get a box freezer if you can.

Buy a quarter side, a side of beef, a quarter if you need to, and put it all in a box freezer. Freezer, what it does is it helps the local ranchers, the local economy. I've got friends of mine down the hill from us. We have one artery that comes up this way. We're almost 10 miles from a paved road, but they're eight miles away, but they're my neighbor.

And I'll stop by and get the farm fresh eggs from them. She has her own goat milk, goat yogurt, goat cheese, fresh cow milk, all those kinds of things. And I am thrilled to be able to do that. We need to do this more to support local farmers. But, Jonathan, for the break, we were talking about this, and I wanted to ask you about a caller earlier in the program that talked about getting Christians involved in local things, local, even in environmental issues and land management issues and so forth.

Do you have any thoughts on that? Yes, absolutely. Christians need to be involved because. The enemy is also involved and is using his conscripts. the communist globalists who are amongst our ranks, who are out there Bringing about bad policies and bad laws to destroy our country, they're absolutely involved in politics.

And our country is not made. For immoral people. Our country is made, and our Constitution is made. For a moral people, and those moral people are guided by the Holy Spirit. They have to have.

Jesus in them before they can make those right decisions. men's hearts are desperately wicked and will make wrong choices all day long, and corruption will seep into the highest seats of government if it's allowed to. But if the Holy Spirit is there, if God is there, if He reigns in the hearts of men who are leaving the country, at all levels Then That's where righteousness will reign. we'll still have to deal with corruption. We'll still have to deal with the sin curse.

But the best way to deal with that is for Christians to become involved. One of one of my my good friends is uh Montana State Senator Ed Butcher. Mm-hmm. He's out of Winifred, Montana, and he he absolutely was the the model of a Christian getting involved in politics He got up and walked off the ranch to go into the Senate house and dealt with the grief. and the constant battering that that came to him from from the The opposite side of the aisle, but he stood his ground, and he still does today, and he's still very active.

And he's also a A strong Gideon. He's out there supporting the Gideon's ministry. He goes to church. Um and you can truly see that it is the The moral compass that guides him, that is the Holy Spirit that's in him, that allows him to make those decisions that are best for Montanans. And really for all Americans.

So and you can see that in the same ranks of government today. Those people who are out there standing for godly principles are the ones who are pushing for rules or regulations or legislation for lack thereof. in the best interest of human beings that God created in his image. And the people who are out there who don't know the Lord and don't have the Holy Spirit in them. They're pushing out there to destroy human beings.

Through whether they think they're actually doing that intentionally or whether they're They're misguided by the deception of our enemy, the adversary, the devil. That's what they're doing in effect.

So yes. Christians have to get involved. And I think one of the the the enemy's greatest lies is to tell Christians that they can't be involved in politics. And that whole five ONC three Legislation that got pushed on churches years ago, that was a lie straight out of hell. We didn't need a 501c3 to be tax exempt before that was pushed into place.

And all it was used for was to silence black pastors in the South who are. pushing back against Johnson administration. Uh I I think that um Christians need to be out there. need to be active. They need to be active in their in their in the local governments.

their county governments, their state governments and national politics. Uh you know, we I practice what I preach in that regard. I've also been involved with. with the party there in Montana when I was when I was able to. Other times I'm not able to, depending on where I'm at in the world.

But yeah, absolutely spent my own personal time dedicated towards. helping shape the pl the party platform there as well. Mm. You know, I ran when I wrote this article, I What prompted it was the smoke from the wildfires when I was looking at it, because every time I see them, I ask the same question, Are we responsibly logging? Can't solve all wildfires that way, but you can mitigate a lot of the damage because the standing deadwood and the overcrowding and so forth, and all there's there's so much fuel out there.

And every time there's any attempt to log out here, We get environmentalists pushing back and there's lawsuits that ties it up. But I wrote this article about the cows, and it's on my substack if you want to read it, caregiver.substack.com. Caregiver.substack.com. And the title of it is called Let the Cows Fart. And I'm sorry about the title, but it just kind of infuriated me because I was listening to Bill Gates talk about this.

And I ran it by a local rancher, multi-generational rancher out here. And in fact, she's, well, her dad and his family all settled out here for a long, long time ago with his family. And um she she As I read it to her, she said, look. We're too busy ranching. To stop and have these kinds of conversations with these people.

Every hour we spend away from ranching is an hour we're not able to ranch. And that kind of work ethic is lost on a lot of today's roads. I look at these kids today and the socialists, and they're trying to go for a 32-hour work week. And I'm thinking, 32 hour work week. I mean that's just ridiculous.

And any type of farming, ranching, and I love how Bernie Sanders always talked about working people. And I'm thinking, you spend some time around ranchers and farmers, and you're going to understand working people in ways you ain't ever understood it before. And she said, We need you, your words. We just don't have the time to do it. And I thought, Okay, that's a way I can do this.

I can do this on this radio program, on my other radio program, in my articles. And this trended at a publication I write for every week as well and um And it obviously hit a nerve with people. But you're right, there is a control, but we've got to go in there and share these godly principles.

Okay, why are we doing this? And if we start outsourcing all of our food to other countries who do not. operate by the same standards we do. We're not solving a problem. All we're doing is crippling our own economy and ability to take care of ourselves.

Is that a fair statement, Jonathan? Yes, absolutely, I think so. And I think our the unfortunate thing is a lot of our public education system is broken. And they've been indoctrinated with these communist globalist ideology that. That teaches self-loathing and self-hatred of being an American and being a patriot.

when in fact, it's our system, it's our constitutional republic, It's allowed them to speak so freely in the first place. And yet they disregard it. And then what you have is a whole generation out there uh that that is not as capable as the one that that preceded them. Uh you you have Oh. swaths of individuals who are who are hooked on drugs that have been imported into our country with a deliberate operation, And they're no longer productive members of society.

You have young kids. She's only fourteen, fifteen years old, overdosing on fentanyl. Uh and unfortunately we have Leaders now who are seriously addressing that issue and seriously stamping it down. But we we have to restore God to the place of honor. in our nation from the top down and especially in the education system.

Um you know, and and in the home particularly. And it takes Christians going out there. And letting their light shine before men so that they can see good works and glorify their Father in heaven. Amen. Jesus told us to do that.

And that's what we as Christians have to do. We have to be out there in the highways and hedges. We have to be telling people about the Lord, and then we have to tell them that it's their responsibility. Uh as citizens of this great republic to the to participate. as citizens to do their part as well.

Amen. You know, I want to give you a little bit of encouragement, Jonathan, about something going on out here. My pastor at our little church here. He takes this very seriously as well. You know, there was a time when we taught the shorter catechism to children.

And we catechize kids. We teach them the things of God, theology and doctrine. What do we believe? How do we get here? And nowadays, I have a hard time thinking there are a lot of adults that could understand some of these things.

But every week before the children are dismissed, he'll go through What are the catechisms? And help the kids remember these things and teaching them. And that's how we're going to do it, one heart at a time. One lesson at a time, as the Holy Spirit gives us opportunity. And the Lord provides the access to people to share these things, but we got to be studying ourselves here.

We have to be ready at a moment's notice. To talk about the things of God into a world that desperately needs to hear it, because that vacuum is going to be filled, like you said, with other things.

So that's my encouragement to you, Jonathan. There are pastors out here in Montana who are taking that kind of thing seriously. There are families taking it seriously. Moms and dads who are homeschooling their kids and sending them to school, but they're also schooling them at the kitchen table. It's happening, and we just got to keep.
