This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth news. I can't hide it. Oh yeah.

A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host.

Good day Truth Talk Live listeners. We have an awesome show here for you today. We have somebody here with pro-life missions. That is a mission field that's going world, literally saving lives of the unborn. His name is Mr.

Mark Nicholson, and he has a wealth of knowledge. He started out as a missionary first, but before we continue, I want to give out the number so you can call in. Ask them anything you want to, whether you agree or disagree with this pro-life movement, with the mission field. You have any statements or anything like that? Call us up.

The number is 866-34TRUTH. That is 866-3323TRT. three four eight seven eight eight four So I wanted to give out the number first. and um also wanted to Open up with a prayer for our good friend of ours. He knows who he is.

The family asks for privacy. If he's listening right now, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We ask for a speedy recovery. If you need anything from us, Uh you know who who to call.

So, Heavenly Father, just want to reach out to the person who we're talking about and let him know that he is loved. We miss him. And we just ask that. He has a good support system around him, and that he gets back to being with Truth Talk.

Soon. and all of his other ministries. In Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen.

So Getting back to the topic. We have mister Mark Nicholson with us. And he is going to talk about what he does.

So, again, it's called Passion Life. It's a Mission trip, worldwide mission trip. or mission organization that goes around and saves the lives of the of the unborn. But I don't want to sit here and talk about his ministry. He knows about his ministry more than I do.

So I'll let him talk about his ministry. Mr. Mark Nicholson, go ahead, please, sir. Go to some wonderful places, go to some exotic places, Nepal, Romania. Um But uh Yeah, just got back, so hopefully I won't fall asleep while I'm talking to you because I'm a little jet lagged today.

Well, from our conversation earlier, talking off mic, I have no worry about you falling asleep, and I have no worry about our listeners falling asleep. This guy has a wealth of knowledge, can talk about any topic. I mean, I almost lost track of time sitting there talking to the guy.

So, hopefully, you guys will. Hear his depth of knowledge and his passion for what he does.

So. You started out as a missionary and then transitioned to the mission field to the pro-life mission field. That's right. Where did you get your start in the mission trip or in the mission organization, and how did it transition to being a pro-life organization?

Well, that's a great question. And the way it started out for me is when I was young and had just become a believer and was looking, you know, asking hard questions: God, what do you want to do with my life? I started saying, God, send me somewhere where other people aren't willing to go. Send me to a hard place if you want to. I'm willing to go to a hard place.

Send me where people don't know you. um where the church is not strong. And make me like, you know, for your glory and for your kingdom. And so I met my wife while I was in college. We decided together that we were gonna go into missions.

And uh not too many years after we got married, we ended up going over to East Asia. Actually we lived in Tibet. For 10 years.

So that's in China. Of course, China is, people think about China being mostly cities and things like that on the east coast of China. But if you go into the west part of China, it's very sparsely populated, very mountainous. Uh very difficult terrain. Um the infrastructure is not nearly as developed.

So that was a rural place where there are millions and millions and millions of people who have never heard the name of Jesus one single time in their lives. Wow. Never read a Bible, never been to church, don't even know that there is a Jesus to believe in. And if you cut me, Jamal, I will bleed missions on you. I will bleed right through the radio and into the lap of whoever's driving their car right now.

I will bleed missions. It's in my veins. I want Jesus Christ to be known and lifted up among the nations. That's my passion.

So, how did it go from the mission field to saying, okay, well, I want people to know about Jesus? Which is biblical, folks. We've got to be about missions. We talked about that last week when we had some missionaries here, or a missionary here. Mr.

Tim Hannauer, shout out to Tim Hanauer from Pinedale Church. But I have personally never heard of a mission field that focuses on pro-life. How did you make that switch? And What do you, how do you approach that with evangelism and the mission field? How do you meld those two missions together, those two fields together, the pro-life mission and evangelism?

How do you meld those two forces together? Yeah, I can see how for most people, without having talked about this or thought about this a lot, it seems like a big switch. Like you're doing church planting and now you're doing pro-life, and that's a major switch. But for us, what we realized was there was an evolution, if you will, or just a kind of a natural progression of being about the word and about evangelism, about people knowing Jesus and realizing. that when people are in need In other words, when they're in a crisis, They are open to being helped, even by people that they wouldn't necessarily think of turning to for help.

Now, medical missions has always been. effective. It's been an entry point for the gospel because everyone knows someone who's sick and needs a doctor or is going to. If you think about the fact that in this world Some of the research is telling us that somewhere between 56 and 72 million abortions on our planet every year. If you think about it, abortion then ends up being such a common issue that, in many ways, you could say that the pro-life platform is similar to the medical missions of our day.

Right, right. Everyone knows someone who is in an abortion crisis, or has been in an abortion crisis, or is going to be in an abortion crisis, an abortion-related crisis. And that's when we have an opportunity as Christians to bring Christ. To the crisis, and we see people coming to faith.

So for us, The way we just fill out the answer to your question, my wife and I. Asked ourselves, where is the need the greatest? And then we went over to Tibet and we invested ourselves in the language and the people and the culture. And we started to ask, how can we? Find something inside this culture where people feel a need, where people feel like.

We can apply this gospel that we're talking to. In other words, where's the flashpoint that makes it real for them? Right. And we realized that there was a very high infant mortality rate in our area. Babies were dying.

Because and think of this. Tibetan plateau We lived it. 12,000 plus feet of altitude. It was winter nine months of the year. I'm a beach guy.

And God sent me to a place that was so high and so cold. I told this story this Friday to Stu. Uh I said um It was so cold there. Number one, we had to keep five fires going in our house. My goodness.

And I had to wake up for those 10 years that we lived up in the village, I had to wake up at 2:15 and 5:15 every day because if I didn't light the fire back and stoke it up in the middle of the night, it would be so cold in the morning. That we couldn't warm up the house for 24 more hours. And we'd go down to the village. I mean, from the village to the city. to resupply and meet with Christians because we were the only ones up there.

We take our computers. And because the computers have these liquid crystal screens, the liquid crystals would freeze if you left them in the house.

So we found that the warmest place in the house to leave our computers while we were gone was the refrigerator.

Okay? If you left your computer in the fridge, you could trust that it was probably gonna be warm enough that this that this that the screen wouldn't freeze and explode. 'Cause that's how cold the house was when we got home.

So We you've got babies being born. in these cold conditions. Intents out on the grassland by the smoke of a dung yak-dung fireplace. You've got the The neighbors come by and spit in the face of the baby to ward off the demons when it's freshly born. See, babies are dying of completely preventable things.

Just hold that thought. We're about to go to break. Yep. Call us up, 866-348-788. Four.

86634 Truth talk about pro-life mission trips around the world. Stay tuned. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We have Mr. Mark Nicholson.

with a pro-life mission trip that's worldwide and it's called passion life again that is a worldwide mission field that is focused on saving lives and they're called passion life one of the few. Uh, is it the only one of its kind or one of the few? There are not many organizations that I am familiar with that use um abortion and prayer life theology as a platform for missions in foreign foreign um countries.

So even like one of the more famous pro-life Organizations in America is called Heartbeat International. They're a wonderful organization, but they They do more to partner with existing um, pro life ministries overseas than they do going out overseas and trying to start pro life ministries. You see what I'm saying? They they serve as a partner and a resource.

So they are international, but they're not going international and uh as a as a thrust of their their group. They're their mission. Gotcha, gotcha. Yeah, because this is new to me. I've never heard of this.

We get a lot of this. And they're in that just shows you what kind of need they have. But I need to get to our sponsors before we continue. It helps us keep the keeps the lights on and the microphones hot and gives us a place to bring you shows like this. And one of the ones I want to start with is LeBlue Ultra Body Water, body water, LeBlue Ultra Pure bottled water.

Try saying that fast three times. I have it here in the studio with me, and you know, I take a drink from it every time I'm here, or most times I'm here. It's a great water. And one of our sponsors, again, LeBlue Ultra Pure Bottled Water, they have the best filtration process to give you great taste and a healthy water. Speaking of drinks, we also have.

the mighty muscadine drink. Uh no sugars, no carbs. Full of antioxidants, help keep you healthy, excuse me, while you're on the go. Golians bookstore sells it. We have loads here at Truth Talk.

So that's another drink that I enjoy when I'm here. Carolina wood floors, open your doors to beautiful wood floors. We also have limitless golf carts. Great golf cart weather right now. They're located in front of Forsyth Tech on Silas Creek Parkway.

Limitless golf carts. We also have Mr. Barbecue. uh on Peter's Creek. is one of our uh great um affiliates and and sponsors.

So, loads of sponsors. If you want to get on Truth Talk Live or you want to have your program on here, call it the station. We offer. Biblical-based shows and programming here.

So, if you're a biblical-based church or a program, you want to get on Truth Talk or you want to get on Truth Network, just give us a call. We're always looking to expand.

So we love our sponsors. We love our affiliates. I also want to give one final shout out to Mayflower and Rule Hall. Great food. They always treat us well over there.

Rural Hall. right off the exit there.

So thank you again to our sponsors.

So Speaking of sponsors, um Do you guys um how do you get your your sponsors? How are you funded for this worldwide endeavor? Because I know for something that's worldwide, it's got to take some some money and take some funds. And one of the reasons why I bring that up is For people to maybe have an opportunity to donate. And it might not be just donating their time.

They can donate their money, or sorry, they can donate. Um They're their platform to give awareness.

So there's many different ways you can donate, time, treasures and talents.

So what kind of ways are you guys funded? And what do you do with those funds? We are individually funded. In other words, we raise all of our funding through individuals and through churches. We have done some grant writing and things like that.

We don't apply for federal funding in any way. This is just really a very grassroots group. And it's uh I tell people if um if you want to invest your charity in some place that makes a big difference. And uh and again we don't We don't have an office. We don't have buildings, we don't have a lot of overhead.

So the money that is given, we steward well and go and it goes right to the mission field. It's a very lean and mean organization, if you will. That that's good. And for folks out there that might uh take a little um position with me asking about funding. That's why I asked, because I wanted mister Nicholson to show you how well that they're treating your funds and your resources and also show you how the church can get involved.

He said this is pretty much a grassroots organization, not funded by Soros or Bezos or any one of the big name guys. It'd be nice if they did. But your local church that you drive by every day or the church that you are going to, I know Pondale. Shout out to Pondale. I know Pondale invests pretty well in mission trips.

So. Uh If you have a heart. For funding these organizations and operations, go to your church, go to your pastor, go to your board, and say, hey, maybe we can have a small percentage. out of our budget budget to go help evangelize and save lives of the unborn, literally save the lives of the unborn. And if you don't think that this is a major function or a major move.

we're going to get into some of the numbers. Um and hopefully the numbers will it'll hit your heart and you say, I want to save as many lives as possible because this is a real thing. Lives are being lost, not just here in America, unfortunately, but around the world. We have our own issues here with abortion. But when you look at other places around the world that don't have pregnancy care centers, that don't have platforms like this, that don't have people going to the abortion clinics, people trying to evangelize and have them to choose life for people that don't have that, who they think their only option is to take the life of that child, you can imagine the worldwide numbers behind this.

But I'll let Mr. Nicholson talk about the numbers worldwide for abortion. Here's a number that I think often gets a little bit of s uh surprised reaction. From people when we ask it.

So if you were to guess about all the abortion that takes place in the world every year. What percentage? of the abortion that happens in our world each year occurs inside the United States.

Now you and I were talking before We started up here a few minutes ago. You you guessed as much as maybe 15%. I spoke earlier this week. The first person who responded said 25%. Another guy said 33%.

And I've had people guess all over the map. But the truth is. of all the abortion that occurs in the world each year. The United States is responsible for less than 3% of the world's abortion. And that shocks a lot of people because we talk about it, it's an issue.

And I don't mean to make it sound like it is not a big problem in the United States. It's a big problem for one reason, it's because we export our ideology all over the world because we're influential. But number two, the reason I. I I I bring that up is because as a missionary Always asking myself, where am I needed the most? Where can I serve you, Lord, and have the biggest bang for the buck and invest myself in the kingdom in a way that really means something.

We started looking at those numbers and we realized that we have to think of the worldwide abortion epidemic as a missions opportunity. It's a platform for the gospel. to go out into the nations, which is an amazing thing.

Okay.

So when you hear numbers like 72 million on the low end or 76 million. on the high end Ladies and gentlemen, that's genocide. Um and if you don't believe me, you can look towards science. The sign says where two chromosomes from the mother and from the father come together, boom, you have a new life right then and there at conception. We protect eggs of bald eagles, we protect eggs of turtles, but we don't protect life in the womb.

Even when we have a heartbeat detected, still. And this is a. Touch a subject, I know. We're not condemning anybody, we just want to have lives to be saved. whatever your situation.

That is a life. inside of that womb. And we don't want to have numbers like seventy two million. We have a number here, population of I think last time I checked like 340 million.

So that is a large percentage of our US population. Can you imagine 76 million people just wiped off the face of this nation? Just like that?

Well, that is happening around the world, but we are going to break.

Some of us are going, so some of you are going to lose us. But stay tuned for other Truth Network programming in your area. But for others, we're going to continue on. But before I lose other market, It's about getting saved. If you're not saved, get saved.

And if you are saved, lead somebody to Christ. Truth Talk Live. We'll see you next time.

Okay.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We have Mr. Mark Nicholson here with Passion for Life, sorry, not Passion for Life, Passion Life. This is a worldwide organization. They mix evangelism with Saving the Pre-Born.

This is an amazing organization and one of the few around the world. They could use your support, lives could be saved.

So look into this organization. Before we go any further, Mr. Nicholson. Considering I've talked about how great your organization is, if somebody would like to get involved, how could they do that? Yeah, the easiest way is to contact us through our website, and our website is pretty easy to find.

We are at passionlife.org. That's pretty. Passion, life, all one word. PassionLife.org. Um Our website, we have designed it to be pretty user-friendly and for people to be able to ask questions and to be able to reach people like me very easily.

If you want to reach out to me, talk to me about anything that we're discussing today. I'd be happy to email or text or talk with people by phone. But yeah, passionlife.org is the best way to get in touch with us. All right, thank you for that. And do you have any upcoming events, any speaking engagements, anything that you want to?

Get people abreast on, kind of put the knowledge out there about what you have coming up?

Well, just so people know this, our focus is really on the outside of the United States. We're in 40-something different countries, but the number one country in the world right now in terms of abortion is India. And I just got back from my 12th trip to India. We're going to be talking about India at a series of domestic fundraising events that we do here in the United States. We do them regionally.

John Piper is going to be our guest speaker in Atlanta here in, I think it's in June. He's going to come speak for us. Just next week, we've got Pastor Bill Farrell, who's a book writer. I think he's done some writing with Focus on the Family. He's going to speak for us in the San Diego area.

of California. And on April 23rd, right here in the triad, we have Dr. Gary Chapman, who is aware of our organization and a fan of what we do. He's going to be speaking at our fundraising event at the Benton Convention Center in downtown Winston. on April twenty third.

I'll be speaking at that event as well.

So if people want to come out and hear what the Lord is doing through Pro-Life Ministry overseas in the local Triad area, Winston Salem is going to be on April 23rd with with John uh with Gary Chapman. If you're in the Winston-Salem area, you may know the name Alan Wright. Alan Wright is a local pastor here. He's a dear friend of mine, and he's going to be speaking for us in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in the next, I think that one is going to be in October.

So these regional events, if you're anywhere near those areas, try to get to one of these regional events. And you can find more about those regional fundraising events on the passionlife.org website. That is great. I'm glad that this is such an act of. uh mission organization And I'm glad to hear that you have such a wide impact.

It's interesting to me that India is the number one place for abortions. Can you go into more detail why that's the case?

Well, that's the million-dollar question, Jamal. Why is that the case? And I think there's a list, a laundry list, really, of reasons. I find that there are two big things that cause people to seek out an abortion. One is wealth, and one is poverty.

It's amazing. People think that they are too wealthy to be able to stop in their career to have another baby. Or They are too poor, they say, to be able to feed another mouth.

So, those are two very big motivations for people to seek out an abortion in a crisis pregnancy. And India, of course, has both of those extremes. India is a land of many cultures, many languages, I think, 400-plus languages in the country of India.

So, you've got a lot of different cultures. You've got a very Christianized South and a very non-Christian North. Um you've got people who prefer baby boys over baby girls culturally, so that leads to what we would call gendercide. That is the killing of one gender in favor of the other usually results all over the world in the deaths of baby girls in favor of having giving birth to baby boys. And India is one of those places.

So, India has a lot of different reasons, especially Hinduism. teaching that the soul is not inhabited for the first 120 days of pregnancy.

So that actually permits people, gives people a moral permission from Hinduism to seek an abortion in the first three or four months of pregnancy. We know from science that that is just not the case. What is created, as you discussed before, what's created at conception is a living, whole, distinct human being. with the image of God and dignity and value. And to kind of stay on this route a little bit.

on why India is number one. We have some people that say, Well, why go on a mission trip at all? You know, uh X out abortion. Why are we sending people over there to solve the world's problems? We have people going over there in Iran and people going over to Israel and we're all over the world doing X, Y and Z.

We have issues right here. We have homeless right here. We have mental issues right here. We have a lot of issues that we Can use all of our resources and people here. Why are we putting our nose in where it doesn't belong, some would say, in other worlds, other people's affairs around the world?

Your answer to that would be what, sir? The God that we serve. The God of the Old and New Testaments is a missions God. He has always been about making his name and his glory known among the nations. He has always been about serving people in need among the nations so that his goodness and his glory would be known and magnified and lifted up by all peoples.

Not just a few, not just some, not just Israel, the Hebrews, all peoples. You and I are sitting here because we have been grafted into the lineage of Abraham. We are the result of missions that took place, you know, so many centuries before us.

So we take... As Christians, we take the message of the gospel to the corners of the earth and we use whatever means necessary, whether that be the platform of elder care, ministry to the addicted, ministry to the incarcerated. As we discussed, some people say, well, in pro-life ministry, you only care about the baby until it's born. then you don't care about it any more.

Well, let me tell you somethin'. Christianity invented universities. That's right. Christianity invented libraries. Christianity invented the Red Cross and the Salvation Army.

Braille was invented by a Christian man who wanted blind people to be able to read the Bible. Come on, Mark. The Underground Railroad was run by Christians. Anywhere you find any area of need, social justice or whatever, you're going to find Christians right at the tip of the spear, right at the hottest point of the flame, risking their lives for the glory of Jesus Christ. And that's what passion life is all about.

We find this is the one and only area where human beings are legally targeted for murder. And then people can do it. And the law won't do anything to prevent it. Right. You made a great point earlier, saying we don't want to use this as a platform for bashing people and making them feel bad.

Let me tell you, one of the core tenets of what Passion Life does is we bring the grace of the gospel to the guilt and the shame of abortion so that people can experience and understand the full forgiveness, not just the forgiveness of the gospel, but the freedom to live in Christ and to serve Him. Abortion is sin. But it is not a sin that is too big for the gospel. That is for sure. The gospel is far-reaching and will go into the places of our lives where we feel most guilty, feel our conscience is most bothered.

And that's what the gospel does: it cleanses the conscience and sets the Christian at liberty before God. Wow. This guy is the real he's the real deal, folks. He is on fire. I mean, he answered so many questions on so many levels.

This guy is amazing. Mark Nicholson, I got another one for you. Just playing the opposite side. I don't like saying devil's advocate because I'm definitely not that.

So I'm just playing the opponent side here.

Okay, let's say all that stuff about Christianity is great. You guys go all over the world, you're solving problems. And you're helping out?

Okay, good, fine. But for that person in India. That's in the caste system. Lowest part. They're in the trash.

They're digging through trash to find money, to find food, to just make it to the next day. They're in a polluted land. They're in a land where they don't have a lot of freedoms, a lot of. Uh, what's the word I'm looking for? Uh, conveniences.

That that we have. Uh amenities is another word. They don't have much.

So if somebody who gets pregnant and they say, I don't want my kid being born in this caste system, the lowest of the low, having to dig through the trash, all kinds of sickness, maybe even being sold off to trafficking, Why would we or how can we say that that person does not have the reason I don't say right but has the reason or rationale to not bring that kid into life under such conditions, what would you say to that person? You're asking You're asking good, hard questions, cook questions that people think through and they and they crunch the these ideas and their hearts are moved with compassion. And I can tell that anybody who asks that question is usually asking it motivated by compassion for the poor, compassion for the trafficked, compassion for the sick, the weak, the needy. Let me tell you who has more compassion than anybody for those people is the Lord Jesus Christ. We see it all throughout the pages of Scripture.

And the answer for poverty. The answer for suffering. The answer for human trafficking. Once a person is born is not to kill them. The answer for it is to serve them with the gospel and to meet them in their area of need and to try to improve life rather than end it.

So we don't want to end the life of a human being with abortion just because they might be unhappy. We want to trust God that He can work out their circumstances. There you go. He laid it out. Stay tuned, Trick Talk Live.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We are here with Mark Nicholson with Passion Life. This is an awesome organization. Not only do they go around the world, literally, to evangelize, bring people to Christ, but they're also trying to save lives of the unborn. That is a powerful wedding right there.

You're mixing pro-life missions with evangelism.

So. Talking about that. Let's talk more about Passion Life. What is the mission of Passion Life?

Somebody doesn't know about it, haven't heard of it at all, they're new to this. Tell them what the mission of Passion Life would be. I'll start by saying that An unplanned or an unwanted pregnancy is maybe the most common crisis in the human condition. There's no country, there's no people group, there's no socioeconomic level, there's not even any religious affiliation where people don't find themselves pregnant when they didn't mean to be, or they didn't expect to be, or they didn't want to be. And when that happens, the crisis strikes them as.

Jamal, you say, not in India, or not in some of these communist China. These are people who don't have faith. Oh, yes, they do have faith. They're asking themselves faith questions even if they don't consider themselves people of faith. If they say, How do I feed another baby?

That's a faith question. I feed my babies by praying that God would give me my daily bread and trusting Him to provide. Amen.

That's how I feed my babies.

So that's a faith question. And people are open to faith answers, even if they don't consider themselves people of faith. Because a crisis pregnancy almost strikes like the end of the world, like death itself is knocking on the doorstep. And they are praying, maybe, for the first time in their whole lives: God, if you exist, I need you now more than any other time. Wow.

So. To bring the gospel. And to bring the service of the Lord Jesus into those certain circumstances. Is a wonderful, beautiful opportunity not only to serve people and to show them the love of Christ and save the life of a baby, to be able to speak. The power of the gospel into their lives as well, and we see hundreds and thousands of people coming.

Okay.

To faith every year through the Ministry of Passion Life, because when you serve somebody in that time of need, You are You are helping them see that there is a Savior out there. For their worst circumstances. And it ain't us, it's Jesus. Um Passion life. studies the places in the world where the abortion rates are the highest.

Before India, it was Cuba. Cuba is just 90 miles away from the Florida Keys, and it had the highest abortion rate in the world. We have a highly reproducible Theological training that we take people through called the Four Questions Training. I won't be able to answer them, but here are the four questions, and we answer them from the Bible. Number one: What does the Bible say about human life, including life in the womb?

Number two. What does the Bible say about the shedding of innocent blood? including abortion. Number three, how do we bring the gospel to the guilt and the grief of abortion? said that people experience forgiveness and freedom.

And number four. How are we called to stop the shedding of innocent blood in our area? How has the Bible called us to rescue the innocent in the most vulnerable places on earth?

So we partner with churches. Teach churches how to get involved theologically and to wrestle with things, and then take that theology, the orthodoxy. and turn it into action. the orthopraxy, okay? Uh Theology is no good unless you get dirt under your fingernails in the end of the day.

Right? You gotta go out and serve somebody with the gospel. Yes. And that's, we teach people to. Obey the word.

Share the word. and take it to other places, okay? Hear it, obey it, share it. Simple message.

So it's a reproducible. Cuba took that message and they began to share it from church to church across the island. I've been to Cuba 22 times. It's just in the last few years, actually. Um More and more churches have come on board with this.

And then they are making disciples in other churches, showing them how they've figured out ways to save babies in their particular context.

So the. The This is shown up now in the national statistics of Cuba. These are not my statistics. These are government statistics, UN statistics, Guttmacher Planned Parenthood statistics say that. Cuba, since 2019, has dropped from number one in the world in terms of abortion rate.

To number four in the world in terms of abortion rate, and that is the church. And the people of God serving Their communities, one woman, one baby, one family at a time. Mark Nicholson. Um that that that's great. To to play the other side again.

Let's say I'm a good hearted atheist. good-hearted non-Christian. and I want to go help out. And I want to do help here domestically or over the world. I want to start a bone organization, do all that.

You mean to tell me that. V Non-believer, people that might not have my Christian faith, they don't have a place in this. It is. The Christian minefield, not minefield, but the Christian mission field, I I would say. Is that something that is gonna be the Best way, the only way.

To change the world, or can a secular person, a non-believer, go out there as well? Is Christianity the end-all, be-all when it comes to changing the world? What would your answer be? In the pro-life movement, we have all the enemies we can handle. We will not turn our backs on people who want to join the movement for life.

Even people who are not Christians. Because Uh let me give you an example. If I'm in a burning car And you walk by and you say, Well, I'm a Christian. And I say, Well, I'm an atheist. I don't want you to save me.

I want to wait for an atheist to come save me. You know, the truth is, God is honored and glorified at the saving of life just because He created it. It's best if we can partner it with the gospel. But if you are a non-believer, in fact, there are organizations, I think there is an Atheists for Christ. Whoa.

I'm sorry. Atheists for life movement.

Okay.

Atheists for life movement.

In other words, you don't have to be a Christian to believe that life is valuable and worth protecting and has all dignity. And so we will partner with people of all stripes. We've even invited Muslims and people to our trainings to hear what the Bible says and to take whatever they can from it and apply it to their lives because that truth is God's truth. And so we partner with people all over the world to see life saved. And and that's good to know.

If you want to be a part of this this mission field, hey. Jump on board. But as Mark has described earlier, with all the impact through Christianity, There's nothing out there that beats this. Unless you do it through a Christian vein. Am I right on that?

I would say that if you want to see long-lasting. Change in this world. You're not going to usually do it through all politics and legislation. Those things can help, but I think that the church has been the biggest force for good in all of human history: the Christian church and the power of the Holy Spirit working through his people at a grassroots level.

So, I would say that Jesus Christ is the hope of the nations, and the church is the hope of the nations, and that we need to partner this work with the gospel to every extent that we possibly can. That is amazing. I couldn't have said it better myself. Uh give a shout out to Passion life and how people can get in contact with you, how people can. Uh get involved.

upcoming events and also how we can pray for you. We take people with us sometimes on these mission trips to go around the world and train churches. We need people who are prayer warriors. We need people who are modest monthly givers to our organization because I spend a lot of time on airplanes tomorrow. Let me tell you, I tell people I love my job, but the commute is not what I love.

I spend a lot of time in the economy section of the back of an airplane. And we need money to be able to do that. We need money to be able to go to places like Vietnam, places like Kazakhstan, places like Zimbabwe, places like Argentina to be able to train churches. To fight for life in those contexts.

So people can get involved through prayer. They can pray for me for one thing. Pray that, like Paul said, pray that I would make, there would be a door open for the gospel and I would proclaim it clearly as I should. Pray that we'd be able to motivate people to be discipled into the gospel of life, if you will, the way of sharing the gospel through serving people in a life crisis. And come to one of these local regional events.

Again, we're going to have one in San Diego. We're going to have one in Atlanta. That one is John Piper. We're going to have one here in the Winston-Salem Triad area. That one is Gary Chapman.

And we're going to be doing one in Dallas-Fort Worth. That one is Reverend Alan Wright. Go on the passionlife.org website to find when and where those are. They're completely free. We're just trying to raise ministry partners and get people praying for what we're doing.

Amen, amen. Passion Life get on board. They're doing amazing work. You're not going to find many organizations like this. That are doing so much good around the world.

Again, passion life. We even have events happening here within Winston-Salem.

So you don't have to travel overseas. You don't have to go to these big city events right here within Winston-Salem. I am With with that being said. before we run before we excuse me before we run out of time, I'm so excited here. Before we run out of time, I want to give a quick shout out to my man T.

He's been a great supporter, avid listener. He knows who he is. Took me a while to get that shout out to you. Also, shout out to Stu Everson for arranging this. Really appreciate what he's doing, what all the Truth Network is doing.

And I'd like to close out every show with an appeal to the lost. If you don't know Jesus Christ, today is the day of salvation. It doesn't take a pope or a priest. All you can do, like the thief on the cross, we just had Easter Sunday, and I'm pretty sure people talked about it. The thief turning to Jesus Christ while they were both nailed to the cross and asking for forgiveness, asking to be granted access to heaven.

And Jesus turned to him and said, Today, you will be with me in salvation.

So if you're not saved, This is a till to get saving if you are saving. And it's also easy. You know all you have to do is Um ask forgiveness. May Jesus your Lord and Savior. Boom, you're good to go.

Make that prayer today. And if you are saved, go find somebody who's not saved and get them saved. As Mark Nicholson said. This is the most powerful thing we can do as Christians is to get people saved. You don't like an area, pray for it.

He teaches a perspectives class where the power of prayer is just amazing. I'm taking that class, as I've said before.

So, pray about getting somebody saved. Go out there. You don't even have to go overseas. You can go right next door. You can go across the street.

You can go to church. There might be somebody in church that might not be saved. We had somebody in our Bible study who was not saved. And I'm making this point because a lot of times I run out of time, but I wanted to take time. while we're talking about evangelizing, to take time to make this point.

Gotta hit home a little bit. About getting saved. Mark, we have a little time left. Anything else you want to get off your chest before we close out? I will say that there are people who are looking for another way to get involved with the work of Passion Life.

Just contact us. We love to go visit churches, speak in churches. Doesn't have to be from the pulpit, can be. I preach sermons, I'm a pastor, but we'll teach Bible study. If you want to put a dozen people together in your living room and have me hook up my computer or your TV and tell you encouraging stories about what God is doing through Passion Life's Pro-Life Ministry throughout the world, we've got to go.

True Talk Live. Look them up. Thank you, guys.
