Downy rins and refresh. Break up with stinky clothes. Rinse it up. Every now and then I get a little bit tired of the stinks that just won't ever come out. He is.
Stay. Every now and then I rinse it out. One wash and drink delivers. One wash, it smells so clean. Downy, rinse, and refresh, it's a dream.
Downy, rinse, and refresh. Fights odor in just one wash. Guaranteed. Hive from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-totin, Bible-clanging, deplorable American. Todd Stearns.
Hello, all of you beautiful people out there. Welcome to the Todd Stearns radio program. Wow, we have got a lot going on today, and there's a little bit of raunchy news coming out of Washington, D.C. The Doge Committee. is currently in progress and the Democrats are hyperventilating.
You know, it's interesting, and I really don't know a polite way of saying this. Oh, by the way, welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Program. Thank you for being a part of our great, vast studio audience today. There's not a polite way to say this, Ben Dieter.
So if I need to, if you guys need to use the dump button on the host of this radio program, you may do so. And I don't want to. I don't want to get any hate mail from the visually impaired crowd. But may I just point out something here? The Democrats offered up an offered up an expert witness today at the hearing up on Capitol Hill.
And their expert witness is saying there really has not been the level of government fraud.
Well, many people are wondering why the Democrat Party's expert witness at the hearing today was wearing Ray-Bands. And it turns out the guy's blind.
So. I just want to understand. Of course, the guy didn't see any fraud. He can't see anything.
Okay. Keep plucking. I'm just I'm just saying. But they wear nice glasses. It's like, you know, telling Ray Charles or Stevie Winter, Hey, guys, over here, take a look at this.
I mean, come on. But it is ironic that the Democrats would pick a blind guy as their expert witness on not being able to see any government fraud. Folks, it is insane what's happening up on Capitol Hill right now. The Democrats are losing their ever-loving minds, and it is a beautiful thing, a beautiful thing to witness.
Now, the question here, and I even saw some scuttlebutt in some Republican circles, folks are getting a little concerned because Elon Musk is in the Oval Office. He has President Trump's ear, he's got a lot of power, and he's got a lot of access. And there are a growing number of even Republicans who now have a problem with this. And they say that Elon is overstepping, that Elon needs to tone it down a smidge. And I'm curious to hear from you about Elon Musk.
And I'm curious if you agree with that. Do you believe that Elon is overstepping the mark here?
Now, this argument, there's an argument out there that Elon's just after money, but he's the richest guy in the world. I really don't think that Elon Musk is. meaning like pocket change. I mean, if Elon wants to go down to, I don't know, Chick-fil-A, he can not only order the, you know, the, the, I don't know, the delicious number one, but he could buy the entire Chick-fil-A if he wanted to.
So, I'm not sure that Elon Musk here is motivated by money. I think Elon Musk is motivated. by the challenge of it all. Yeah. Because our country is in a Financial mess.
Our country is in a cultural disaster. And Elon is going in, and he has been assigned a very difficult task, which is undoing decades and generations. Of waste, of fraud, of grift, of corruption, you name it, it is there. And Elon is Elon is not one to be put off by a challenge. And as I was watching him in the Oval Office and answering the questions, and I was really impressed.
Listen to cut number eight, please. If there's not a good feedback loop from the people to the government, and if you have rule of the bureaucrat, if the bureaucracy is in charge, then what meaning does democracy actually have? If the people cannot vote and have their will be decided by their elected representatives in the form of the president and the senate and the house, then we don't live in a democracy, we live in a bureaucracy.
So it's incredibly important that we close that feedback loop, we fix that feedback loop, and that the public, the public's elected representatives, the president, the house, and the senate, decide what happens, as opposed to a large unelected bureaucracy. This is not to say that there aren't some good, there are good people who are in the federal bureaucracy, but you can't have an autonomous federal bureaucracy. You have to have one that is responsive to the people. That's the whole point of a democracy. And so And if you asked the founders today and said, what do you think of the way things have turned out?
Well, we have this unelected, fourth unconstitutional branch of government, which is the bureaucracy, which has, in a lot of ways, currently more power than any elected representative. And this is not something the people want. And it does not match the will of the people.
So it's just something we've got to fix. And they've also got to address the deficit.
So we've got a $2 trillion deficit. And if we don't do something about this deficit, the country's going bankrupt. I mean, it's really astounding that the interest payments alone on the national debt exceed the Defense Department budget, which is shocking, because we spend a lot of money on defense. And if that just keeps going, we're essentially going to bankrupt the country.
So what I really want to say is it's not optional for us to sit to reduce. the federal expenses, it's essential. It's essential for America to remain solvent as a country and it's essential for America to have the resources necessary to provide things to its citizens and not simply be servicing vast amounts of debt. Yeah, I mean, he's speaking a lot of truth here. What I find fascinating is that the Democrats are upset that President Trump asked an African American to fix our financial issues.
And the Democrats are very upset by that. It seems a little I don't know, what's the word I'm looking for? A little racist to me, maybe. I I maybe that's just me. But g I'm just God bless President Trump because Trump doesn't see skin color.
He just sees a guy, an African-American, named Elon Musk, who can get out there and can fix a problem, something that's broken. But Elon is right. And we maybe, just maybe we made the mistake in the first Trump term that we called what's happening this massive bureaucracy. We called it the deep state, when in fact it's just the federal government. But this is the deep state.
It was a very real thing. And I know that people, oh, those are just conspiracies. There's no such thing as a dark, shadowy government. No, there is. And this is why people are literally freaking out.
They're losing their minds over this. Losing their minds. My favorite moment, there were two from yesterday's White House Oval Office visit. with Elon and his son X and President Trump, one of the reporters and you know, Ben Dieter, these reporters get on my nerves. They're smarmy, they're smug, and many of them are just flat out idiots.
And I mean that in a loving way. They're idiots.
So one of the reporters says, Um excuse me, Mr. Musk. You said that the American people were spending $50 million on condoms for the Gazan people. Sir, we fact-check you, and that's incorrect. The $50 million went to condoms for Mogotishu, sir.
And Musk is like.
Okay, yeah, you know what? We're gonna make a mistake here, but. $50 million for condoms and Mogadishu. But, sir, you said Gaza. There's another favorite moment that happened.
You know who wasn't in the Oval Office, Ben Dieter, for this big press thing? The Associated Press. They were not allowed in. The AP was banned. They were standards.
They were denied access to the Oval Office.
Well, it turns out that the Associated Press put out a statement earlier this week, and they have decided they will not recognize the Gulf of America as the Gulf of America. The Associated Press says President Trump does not have the authority to rename the Gulf of Mexico, and therefore the Associated Press is going to stand by Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico. It will not be the Gulf of America. They should pat themselves on the back. Did you notice even wait, Todd, look at my phone.
Look at my phone. This is breaking news. Oh, wow.
So you've got a map on this is Apple. This is the Apple map? Yeah. So, if anybody has the maps, when you go punch in the directions, we're punching it into the Gulf of what was Mexico. What does that say?
It says Gulf of America. Yep. It's already changed.
Well, if Apple said it. Yep. That's a fanciful thing.
So, AP is the only one holding out on this one.
So far, as all we know, AP is holding out on all of this. And what's interesting is the report of the AP person, Tara Kopp, is very upset about this. The White House denied them access. And you know what? I don't blame them.
If the Associated Press is not going to recognize the Gulf of America, why should the White House recognize Associated Press? And for that matter, and if you've been to Washington to see Ben Dieter, you know that just around the corner from the White House is a lovely coffee shop. And I'm sure that the AP reporter, the White House reporter, could get a table there. They have complimentary Wi-Fi, and they can do their White House reporting from off-site. There you go.
Yeah. My favorite moment yesterday.
So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. And again, President Trump is playing hardball, and I love this. This is what needs to happen. Look, back in the 1980, was this the 70s and the 80s? I became a teenager in the 80s, in the mid-80s.
So you guys remember the after-school? There were things called after-school specials on ABC.
So Ben Dieter, back in the day, we didn't have cell phones. We didn't have cable television. We didn't have access to the, we had no internet. There was no internet.
So basically, when you came home from school, you would fix yourself a snack and then you would sit down and you would watch one of four channels. You would either watch ABC, CBS, NBC, and then nobody watches BBS. But you would sit down and ABC in the afternoon when you came home from school. They had something called the After School Special, which was like a made-for-TV movie for kids. And it would cover these crazy things like cars.
Carla gets pregnant or stoned. That was one of the names of the ones I remember, stoned. And so you were always dealing with teenagers who were going through difficult crises in their young lives. And the whole point was: don't do drugs, don't have sex, those kinds of things. But it was tough love.
Sometimes in life, and if you're a parent, you know this.
Sometimes you just you. You rebuke your kid, you punish your kid, you ground your kid, and it just doesn't take. I mean, you're just you got a bad egg, right? It's like it's not your fault you gave birth to the spawn of Satan, but you've just got a kid that's not going to do what you tell them to do.
So sometimes you have to practice tough love, right? You've got to practice tough love.
Sometimes that means kicking your kid out of the house. I mean, if it gets to that, I mean, nobody wants that, but you guys know what I'm talking about. Elon Musk is practicing, and Donald J. Trump is practicing tough love on America right now. Yeah.
We are trillions of dollars in debt. We can't afford diddly squat. We can't. We can. I'm sure there are people out there.
I'm sure the Methodists or the Episcopalians would love to give $50 million worth of condoms to the people of Mogadishu, but we can't afford it. Can't afford it. It's not in the budget.
Okay. So you got to start saying no. No. And what do we do on Monday? You're either going to come into work, federal worker.
or you're going to lose your job. But I want to stay home and I want to work in my PJs. No. Bad federal worker. Bad Federal worker.
No. And that's what Elon's doing here. Yeah, it's like the book, Have a New Kid by Friday. Wait, what? Yeah, the parenting book.
Have a new kid by Friday. You know that book. Have a New Government by Friday. What's the one that the Star Trek guy wrote, Dr. Spock?
Yeah, I mean, exactly. Just kidding. We're going to have a new government by Friday. Actually, it's only Tuesday, and they're changing things at a rapid pace. All that to say.
For all you people out there, you really think Elon Musk is controlling Donald Trump right now. You don't know Donald Trump. Donald Trump is large and he is in charge, as our good friend, our national correspondent Robin Poffman, would say. He is large and in charge. And I am telling you this right now: that Elon Musk.
is going to finish this job. And it may freak out a lot of federal workers, but here's what I love about Elon Musk. He is really ticking off all the right people right now. every single one of them. He's taken all of them off, including the rhinos who are up on Capitol Hill.
And hear me on this, I know those rhinos still exist. They may be going through and confirming all of President Trump's nominees. But they're rhinos in hiding. Yeah. And trust me on this, they're going to start poking their heads up when all of a sudden their slush funds get attacked by Elon Musk.
So the question is, do you support Elon? Do you think he's doing a good job right now or does he need to back off? 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern show.
Folks, I got to tell you, eggs, they're still a little pricey out there, and it's going to take some time for those to come down. And we explained that earlier this week on the show. The reality is it's a mess. The economy is a mess, and it's going to take some time for Trump to work all this out. And then, again, the trickle down, the egg prices will come down.
What I'm saying is that. You need to start taking actions now to protect your savings, to protect your retirement fund. And if it's all in a 401k, you got big problems. Your retirement plan is in jeopardy. That's just the cold, hard facts.
So, the good news is you can do something about it. And that's why my friends at Priority Gold are big, big fans of the Todd Starns program. They want to give you a free wealth protection guide, a step-by-step plan to fortify your savings, diversify your savings and retirement with gold. There is no cost, no obligation. Coming up, we're going to do a deep dive into the Doge Committee hearings underway right now. And these Democrats are just unhinged, ladies and gentlemen. And dare I say impolite?
We're going to get to that in just a moment. I do want to go to the phones, though, 901-260-5926. Let's say hello to Kathy in Salem, Oregon, our great affiliate there, KYKN. Hi, Kathy. What's on your mind today?
Hi, Todd. I just wanted to remind people about Elon's motivation. for wanting to help us. Um He was a Democrat and voted for Biden. But it didn't take very long until he was affected by Biden's.
doing. His son Was convinced to go into puberty blockers and. transsexual stuff. And so That was Elon's limit, and he decided to help us. You know, Kathy, I forgot about that.
Thank you for reminding me. And you're right. And I think that has to be, that was heartbreaking for Elon. And you wonder how much of that was part of the motivation for trying to fix what is broken and to stop this radical sex and gender ideology that has impacted his own family. It's a great point you bring up.
Yeah. Kathy, do you have a problem with the closeness that Elon has to the Oval Office and to the President, the power that he's got? No. Because President is very open to People that use common sense. It doesn't surprise me a bit that they're friends.
Yeah, I hear you. By the way, Kathy, the state of Oregon, wow, you guys are going through it right now. You've got this Maxine Dexter, this Congress chick. She's a Democrat. Let's play cut number nine, please.
So I am going to tell you that we do have to. I don't swear in public very well, but we have to. Trump. Thank you. Kathy, can you all right?
Thank you. Kathy, can you believe that? Can you believe that a congressperson would say something like that? Sure then. Um, I watched your run.
She's an ER doctor. And um She just thinks that she knows everything.
Well, it's yeah, these people are evil and they're disgusting and they're sickos. And I feel bad for the people of Oregon to be represented by Maxine Dexter. You said she was an ER doctor, Kathy. I wouldn't let her perform a colonoscopy on me. I'll tell you that much.
Kathy, thank you for calling in. Appreciate that. Folks, got to take a quick break. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.

So, I want to bring you up to speed on a story that we talked about. Yesterday, we were telling you that the ICE raids, which are happening all over America, and I know a lot of people. are are very concerned. Because they're saying that the ICE agents are rounding up just sweet little innocent folk in America who want to clean our houses or make our tacos. And we featured, we had what Consuela on, and Consuela called into the Todd Stars radio show and she's like, please don't depart me, Senor Turnets.
Please don't support me. I just feel I invest here I love America. And we love sweet Consuela, but it turns out Consuela may have been a mass murderer back in Guatemala.
So she may appear to be sweet and kind and lovely and lovable, but you don't know what was happening south of the border.
So What are you laughing at, Teeter? I'm just saying you don't know what's going on south of the border.
Now, the reason I say that is yesterday we told you about the taco joint, the beloved taco truck here in Memphis, Tennessee. And the federal government showed up. It's all captured on a video camera, surveillance video, and they raided one of the taco trucks. The place is called Tacos and Ganes. And they had these taco trucks all over the city.
And it turns out that I showed up and they arrested three Mexican nationals. And the local media is going nuts. And may I just say, I didn't realize just how woke and far left the media was in Memphis, Tennessee. And maybe our Memphis listeners, maybe they know that on KWAM. But man, They bought this hook line and sinker.
Every single left-leaning news organization in the city was like, How dare they? They're just yanking people off the streets and they're kidnapping these people. And they're really, is that what's going on here? They also, it was crazy. You know how, like, you watch your local TV station, and it's like three ways to stay warm in the blizzard.
They were doing: here are five ways to protect yourself from ice. Number one, Resist arrest. Number two, if they ask for your documentation, well, oh, they don't have documentation, but this is what you're going to do. Wait, so you're telling me that the local TV stations in Memphis are actually aiding and abetting, and they're teaching the illegals how to avoid getting arrested? Oh, yeah, they were doing it in Spanish.
They were doing it in Spanish. I have all the audio from the morning. It's insane, Todd. This is unacceptable.
So anyway, we told you about this story. And the funny, the ironic part is we all love the tacos at Tacos in Ghanas. I mean, there's one right across the street. I would never go to Taco Bell over the street. No, you can't go to Taco Bell.
You got to go to Tacos in Ghanas. But it's a great place, great food, no doubt about that. The owner has been under a federal investigation. He is a preacher in Memphis. He's been under a federal investigation over allegations he was actually recruiting Mexican workers to come to the U.S.
to work for long hours and low wages.
So basically, the allegation is these people are slave labor. And it just seems to me. that if if you're going to If you're going to arrest the illegals, then you also have to arrest the owner because somewhere along the line, the owner has to know these people are not getting, I mean, first of all, if they're getting paid under the table, that's a big problem. If they're getting paid cash, that's a problem.
So these people don't have social security cards, they got nothing because they're illegals.
So, anyway, everybody's going nuts over this story now. And people are like, how dare they? They're ready to protest Trump. Typical Republicans. People are going bonkers.
Local newspaper won't even let people comment. Yeah. Oh. And then another like inserted into this was that they are stripping the rights of these people. That was like the main thing.
The community is worried that they do not have their rights, their liberties, their first and second, third amendments, their bill of rights. And it's like, hello, they're not here legally.
So, Memphis took, so apparently, there are. There is a massive, massive number of illegal aliens living in Memphis, Tennessee. And that is why ICE is here. That's why they're here in the region working. We have our own branch.
There you go. So there's something very nefarious going on. And so, anyway, now we can tell you the other shoe has now dropped because we're not talking about three Mexicans that were just minding their own business. They're just hard workers. They're doing the work that Americans won't do.
Americans will not make their own tacos.
So we have to bring in people from old Mexico to do it for them. Yeah. Well, now we know the rest of the story. ICE is now acknowledging that it was, in fact, their agents who raided the taco truck, and they arrested three Mexican nationals who were in the country illegally. And all of this is because of the Labor Department investigation as part of a work site enforcement operation.
And it turns out that two of the three men had prior criminal convictions for immigration-related violations.
So, in other words, those guys. Work. Deported, and they came right back across the border. That's what that is. Yeah.
And it makes you wonder.
Okay, and again, the argument is: well, they weren't wearing uniforms. All right, they were undercover. Oh, I heard that they actually ordered a burrito. The ice agents.
Well, yeah, because it's a great food joint. I mean, it's right. That's part of the ploy. That's literally what I was watching one local newscast, and they said a lot of these undercover raids, they will actually dress the dress, they'll talk the talk, and they'll eat. The burrito.
So that's what was happening.
So they ate the burrito. And then that's what it was. Yeah. It's kind of like a duck decoy, right? When you're duck hunting?
Yeah. All right. I'll take the five-layer burrito bowl and then boom, pulls out the badge. They're dangling the burrito and then boom. And the reason I don't feel bad about this, and why I can speak with just, I don't know, my American card is these are bad people.
I mean, if you've been deported and they clearly had criminal backgrounds, we now know that two out of the three. I don't feel bad for you. And the media needs to be honest in reporting that because the entire city of Memphis is about ready to fall apart. They are getting ready to protest, take it to the streets, buildings burn, shut down the bridges. And it's because the media is dropping the ball intentionally, in my opinion, and not reporting the full story.
Media is pouring gasoline on a fire built out of lies, is what they're doing here. And they will not take responsibility. But again, I think it's important. We have a massive audience in Memphis, Tennessee, and you guys need to know what's really going on here.
So the bigger and the broader issue is, and according to the reporting of WMC-TV, that The owner of this This taco restaurant, I guess, conglomerate, is still under federal investigation. And the allegations, this guy's recruiting Mexican workers to come to the U.S. to work long hours and low wages. Yeah. Oh, no, he was, according to Commercial Appeal Reporting, which is the local paper in town, he was doing those digital ads and he was sending them overseas.
So, folks in Mexico somehow they were able to see these targeted campaign ads. And it said, We can guarantee you 100% safe work. You've got the job. We can't give you a visa.
So, come on over. And they did. Yeah. And I don't care. You know, if you work at a taco joint or a radio station and you're illegal, you're out of here, pal.
Well, now here's the thing, because this was a pastor that also was a business owner over the taco truck. Maybe now we know why all the pastors are worried about ice coming to the churches, because you have the pastor, in this case, literally bringing in the sheaves. The sheep's just so happy to be from Mexico. Uh Wow. Oh, that is deep.
That's deep. That's very good. That's very biblical. Yeah. And the other part of this, and we saw this in the Atlanta area, where they're saying, oh, the ICE agents are raiding church houses.
No, they're not. They're waiting outside the church houses, and that's when they're making the arrest of these illegals. But, ladies and gentlemen, And I want to step back for just a moment here and say something about this. Uh, this is going to be a difficult time for a lot of folks in this country. I'm, I am, I'm going to miss eating a delicious taco at Taco and Goddess.
And that's just, again, that's something we're going to have to deal with because the broader issue is not a delicious taco. It's making sure that people are in this country legally. And the reality is. That at least in this one particular instance, you had three Mexican nationals that were doing jobs that could have been done by American workers. You raised an excellent point when we were discussing this.
So, the entire country is upset because now this is a national news story, it's wall to wall. That these three ICE agents entered and breached the facility of a food truck. And what did you tell me? Yeah, where's the anger when they illegals breached our borders? Right.
They broke into our country. They did the same thing. Think the food truck being America, though. It's true. Why can't we be upset?
Do you have a problem, ladies and gentlemen, with ice going after Taco, you know, workers at a taco shop. Or should they just be focused on the really, really bad? And it just seems to me that everybody's really bad. If you come here and you breach our borders, you've broken our laws. And there is a right way.
And I get it. Maybe you wanted to come here for a better life. I get that. But there's a way to do that legally. And nobody wants to talk about the legal immigrants, the people that are waiting in line, and they're doing all the paperwork, they're filing all the papers, they're doing everything they need to do to get here to this country legally.
And by the way, when we have people coming to this country legally, We have an immigration system that actually works, an immigration system that is not overwhelming small towns and communities. Because I'm telling you right now, in Memphis, it is a dangerous place. Two women got shot on Interstate I-240 last night. It is a dangerous place. We can't be taking away resources from the police department to go after these illegals that are in this community.
And that needs to be said for every community in America. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. And again, when you talk about the gang activity, there is illegal alien gang activity in Memphis, not just in Denver, not just in New York City, and that is happening all over America. I suspect you folks in Gainesville, Georgia, know a thing or two about that as well.
And now you've got the Pope. Catholic listeners, what is wrong with your Pope? This guy is not just woke, he's a full-blown communist. And he's attacking President Trump over the mass deportation policies.
Well, I got a message for Pope Francis. You know what, sir? Before you complain about our borders, why don't you tear down the walls around your multi-bazillion dollar church house, sir? Yeah. Here's Borders Are Tom Holman, and Tom Holman's firing back, and he's got a couple of things he wants to tell the Pope.
Cut 10. I got how this works for the Pope. Pope wants to fix the Catholic Church. I'm saying this as a lifelong Catholic. I was baptized as a Catholic.
First communion is a Catholic, confirmation as a Catholic. He ought to fix the Catholic Church and concentrate on his work and leave border enforcement to us. He wants to attack us for securing our border. He's got a wall around the Vatican, does he not?
So he's got to wall around and protect his people and himself, but we can't have a wall around the United States.
So I wish he'd stick to the Catholic Church and fix that and leave border enforcement to us. Then again, I mean, when you think about it, the walls around the Vatican could be to protect the altar boys. I don't know. We all read it in the newspapers. All right, got it, take a break.
We'll be right back. All right, welcome back, everybody. Good to have you with us. We are going to get, and as soon as we get past the time of the hour news, I want to jump into the Doge Committee. There's all sorts of crazy stuff happening there.
And Shanklin, Paul Shanklin, is sending me texts like at rapid fire.
So he's fired up over all this.
So we're going to check out some of what Shanklin's talking about. Right now, though, let's go to beautiful Morrisville, North Carolina. Sean is listening to us on WSIC. Hi, Sean. What's going on?
Hey, Todd, how are you? I'm I love the show. I love your sense of humor. I just wanted to touch base and give my support for what Elon and Trump are doing right now, just exposing all this fraud and waste. It's long overdue.
And on the border, one is, I mean, I'm sure it's talked about, but not as much. That border issue has been going on for ages, and the Biden administration just kind of blew the lid off of it this last term. But if these politicians equip playing politics with the border, And just enforce laws on the book, let's get some consistency. We wouldn't have this big match, you know.
So that's my suggestion. Sean, you know, it really is a bipartisan problem. And this goes all the way back to Ronald Reagan, who was one of my favorite presidents, but he was on the wrong side of the immigration issue, and he was a big supporter of amnesty. But we have to have a well-planned out, well-thought-out immigration process. And if we don't, we're going to get what we've got now, which is we are literally on the verge of losing our country.
Absolutely. And some of these people, my heart goes out to them. I know they want a better life. And I'm all for that. Just I'm legally.
But then, like I say, these administrations just play games with it, with the whole thing, and it's just a big, ugly mess, as we all know. Yeah, it is. And yeah, I feel bad for these people, especially with the kids, and they're bringing their kids, and they're I get that. But I would just encourage you to wander around your local communities, go to some of these run-down trailer parks, and see how some Americans are living. On American soil.
And you're going to come away with a better understanding. There are people right now that are living on the streets, families living in cars. And if we don't have the resources to help those folks, then we don't have the resources to help the illegals. I mean, it really is black and white. We've got to take care of our own first, and then we can take care of everybody else.
100%. All right. Sean, thank you for that. And by the way, Deeter, I went to Statesville, North Carolina for our last book tour. And they had the biggest shindig at WSIC.
I mean, it was, they pulled out the stops, and there was a place. You know, what I'm trying to figure out is what I'm trying to say is we're going to need a new place to go. We can't go to Tacos and Ghana's because if we go to Tacos and Ghanas, we're going to be supporting whatever the heck is going on in that alleged sweatshop. And I just can't do that. I think we need to contact the folks at Wilson's Weenie Wagon.
Ooh. Maybe they could open up a franchise here. They can bring a weenie wagon to Memphis. What do you, I'm assuming you're eating weenies? Hot dogs.
Very delicious. Are they the little weenies or are they big? They're great. Frankenferters. Like pigs in a blanket.
Yeah. No, they're hot dogs. Oh, they're the hot dogs. They're hot dogs. Oh, wow.
Wilson's weenie wagon. Nice. And they're patriotic, too. We could let them set up right in the parking lot. We've got room.
I love these guys. Anyway, I miss you. Wilson weenie wagon. But it's a veteran-owned and operated weenie wagon, and that's what I love about it. Is there a wagon, or is that just an air?
It's really great. Yeah, it's like a food truck. Oh, nice. Yeah, and it's cash-only, and they've got the warning that they also engage in their Second Amendment rights. These weenies are loaded.
I'm telling you. Anyway, good people there. All right. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.
But we did have a great time at WSIC, and they're just really salt of the earth people. And also, KYKN, and can I give you people out in Salem, Oregon, a shout-out? I know that we're sort of barbecue snobs here. But Salem, Oregon has a burgeoning barbecue scene, and they're really doing some stuff out there.
So, God bless you. And we've got a great conservative audience in Oregon, and I know that you guys are really under the gun there. But I'm glad that we're able to provide a little bit of humor and entertainment for you as you're behind enemy lines. All right, we've got to scoot out of here. Hang tight if you're on the phones.
We're going to get to your calls. Don't go anywhere. We see that. ToddSterns.com. Go check it out.
Download our podcast, our newsletter. Got to scoot out for a quick break. We will be right back. This is the Todd Stearns Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr.
That's right. I love this American ride.
Well, hello, everybody. Welcome to the Tom Cearns Radio Show, hour two underway. We're waiting for a White House press briefing to get started. The big Doge committee hearing is underway up on Capitol Hill, and we're going to get to that as well. You know, it's interesting.
Yesterday. Last night, Mark Fogel came back home. He had been held by the Russians for, well, I don't know what three and a half years. He is a school teacher and he got nailed on medical marijuana, which is illegal in Russia. By the way, side note here, folks: if you're going overseas, make sure you do your homework and make sure you understand the laws of the country you're going to visit.
But anyway, he was the school teacher over there and originally from Pennsylvania. And this guy. Wow, what a What a homecoming. Snow falling in Washington, D.C. And President Trump outside the White House and there to welcome him back.
Before that, though, at the airport, the guy gets off the plane. He's waving an American flag. He has the flag draped over his shoulders. And he gets down. The snow is falling.
There's snow all over the tarmac. And he kisses. American soil. And the guy is just so incredibly grateful. I don't know anything about this guy's politics.
I know nothing about this guy. And I don't want any, I don't, there's no need for me to know anything about Mark Fogel's politics. But this was a man who was incredibly grateful and thankful. And he could not say enough things about the President Trump. And there was a moment.
And the um And I'll get to what happened in the diplomatic reception room in just a moment. But his sister, Mark Fogel's sister, was on CNN. And you know how CNN does. They're all about trying to find something to complain about. And here's how that happened: went down.
Cut two, please. My mother went to the Trump rally and saw President Trump shortly before he was shot. And Butler, right? And Butler. Crazy.
It's just a crazy turn of events. And He told her then that if he was elected, he was going to get him out, and the man was true to his word. He certainly was. And this goes all the way back to Butler PA and President Trump. And I want you to hear, this is a we're going to get to your calls in just a moment.
I want you to hear what happened in the Oval Office. And President Trump, I mean, I thought the guy was just going to. Just latch on to President Trump and not let go. I mean, this was a man who was. probably at the end of his his rope.
And he was left behind. And that's the thing you need to do. You need to realize here. This guy was left behind by Joe Biden. Remember Brittany Griner.
And she was also held. By the Russians. A very similar charge. Except, I don't think hers was medicinal marijuana. I may be mistaken here.
But anyway, Brittany Griner, she got all the media coverage, all the celebrity coverage. And the Vidins went out there and they They literally made sure to get her freed and released, but they left behind Mark Fogel. And I have my suspicions on why that is. I don't want to talk about because I don't want to sully this moment here. But I want you to hear Mark Fogel in the diplomatic reception room.
It's a little bit long, but I want you to hear what went down last night. He's a very happy guy tonight. It's just a real honor, an honor to have you at the Wayne X. I feel like the luckiest man on earth right now. Yeah.
I want you to know that I am not a hero in this at all. And uh President Trump is a hero.
Okay. These men that came from the diplomatic service are heroes. The senators and representatives that passed legislation in my honor to get me home are the heroes. Um I am in awe of what they all did. My family has been a force.
I think my 95-year-old mother is probably. The most dynamic 95 year old on earth right now. And uh I am So indebted to so many people. I think I remember a Churchill quote that he said. When the RAF was fighting to lift off it, he said that never have So many owed so much.
to so few. And I put myself fortunately and unfortunately into that category. And I said, never has one owed so much to so many that this super organism of people that came to my support. Ugh. And the love that I was given Sustain me for three and a half years.
Hmm. In a prison that had me in hospitals for more than 100 days. I was given more than 400 injections. In that time, And knowing I had the support of my fellow Pennsylvanians, my family, my friends. Uh it was so overwhelming that uh It brought me to my knees and it brought me to tears, but it was my energy, it was my.
Being that kept me going that whole time, and I will forever be indebted. President Trump. To Steve over there, what a dynamic man this guy is. When I met him, the energy, the can-do attitude just. Exudes from his body.
And when he smiled at me and introduced me, and I got the feel for what has happened. You know, it's not just me, it's everybody. And Secretary Rubio, who met my son a while back. Uh I I I'm I'm a middle class school teacher who's now Mm. And uh A dream world.
We're going to show you the Lincoln bedroom. It's a very special place. All right. Appropriate for tonight.
So you get an idea of what happened there. in the White House last night. And that's America. You know, it's interesting. The Biden administration traded a dangerous Russian arms dealer.
For Brittany Griner. We had to make that exchange to get her back. We didn't have to exchange anybody. To get Mark Fogel back. And that is the power of Donald Trump, and that is the power of his negotiating skills that he would bring this man back.
And what I love about Mark Fogel, and he may be a Democrat, Republican, I don't know, it doesn't matter. But he is grateful for what President Trump did to him. And I don't know about you, but I had a burst of patriotic emotion last night as I watched all of that unfold there at the White House. What a beautiful moment. And anyway, welcome back, Mark Fogel.
He was left behind. By Joe Biden. but President Trump brought him back home. And that says a lot about who Donald Trump is. 901-260-5926 is our number.
That's 901-260-5926. Meanwhile, you've got the hearing that's about to get underway. I'm sorry, the press briefing, which is about to get underway in Washington, D.C. We're going to be monitoring that. Also, we're going to bring you some audio from the Doge Committee, and it is wild.
These Democrats are completely unhinged. Also, want to tell you, Tulsi Gabbard confirmed, and Ben Dieter, I understand the only lone vote, the no vote. was turtle. Mitch McConnell. Yeah.
All right. Mitch McConnell was the no vote, the lone no vote. He didn't even know where he was at. Wait, so so in what world do you have Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins? voting in the affirmative.
And Mitch McConnell The guy that promised at the start of Obama's term that he would do Everything to resist. And now look at this man. And that's his legacy. It is. And it shows you he's a dying rhino.
And it's sad to see. I will say this: you know, they had the guy, the Democrat, I believe from Connecticut, who was giving a speech there on the House floor and just froze. For like 60 seconds, he was speaking. It was terrifying. Nobody bothered to go over and help the guy.
It was clear he was in distress, and nobody moved. Nobody. Yeah, Ty, if you just stop talking. Say, you're doing the national Todd Starn show, and you're sitting here at your desk, and you're. In the middle of delivering those savory tones from coast to coast, and you stopped mid-sentence and just stared at your microphone for over a minute.
I'd call the police. I mean, I'd call the doctor. I'd call. The CEO of the company. No one did anything.
So I know.
So, look, many of you know, and I've been pretty open about this. You know, I had to have open heart surgery when I was 37 years old, and I have to take a lot of medicine, you know, because of, I mean, I'm very grateful for the operation I had and the mechanical heart foul that, but I have to take a lot of medicine.
So, I could, I felt great sympathy for this man because. He had an adverse reaction to some medicine that he was on. And I suspect I know the medicine because I have to take it. And there have been moments. Early on, when the exact same thing happened to me, and you're just, you literally freeze.
And it's a frightening thing to go through because you can't do anything. You, you're trying to figure out where you are, what you're doing, what you're, I mean, you just don't know. But what got me was the reaction. And what does that say about society? I mean, we see this all the time.
Nobody wants to, you know, there's a plane crash. You're too busy filming it for your Instagram and TikTok channel to go and help somebody. Yeah. It's this society is just completely screwed up. And you know, you look at the um What was it?
There was a moment, and there were thousands. Oh, it was New Year's Eve, right? Thousands of people in Times Square. Everybody had their smartphones up filming. Nobody was in the moment.
Nobody was just put your phone down. Nobody cares about your crappy video you're going to be shooting on your cell phone in Times Square. Just take it in and enjoy it. Look around. Be a part of the moment.
Yeah, but you don't get likes. I'm sorry, I'm speaking as a Gen Zero. You don't get likes doing that. You don't get likes. Yeah, you don't get likes.
Let's go to Dan in Nashua, New Hampshire, listening to us on our KWAM app. Hi, Dan, what's going on? Todd, you're absolutely right. President Trump is the only one that could be doing what's happening right now. Because and you gotta look at what he does.
He's the only person, only president, the only politician to have an open door co government. He's got the cameras, the reporters in his office at the White House. He's a straight shooter. When he says something, he follows through. And when you're looking at this Tulsi Gabbard, she's going to be vital, vital, to this administration because Look at what's going on with Elon Musk.
It's unbelievable what he's doing. And Cash Patel is going to be the other one.
So these three together are going to wreak havoc. 'Cause you got Saman Samantha Powell. The ex-U USA Under Biden. Her net worth went from $6.7 million to $30 million on a salary of $180K in three years. And Danisa Powell worked under Obama as well.
okay, with Susan Rice. And she was the one that was involved with Obama's surveillance of President Trump with Susan Rice in twenty sixteen campaign. And then when you look at the Obama I mean, his mother, Ann Dunham, worked with USE ID. and the CIA. And on top of it, his father.
Barack Obama Senior was part of the CIA program to identify and train Africans. His stepfather, Rolo Serono, assisted in violent CIA coup against Indonesian president.
Well, let me hop in here, Dan, because you're given a whole history lesson here, and there's a lot to unravel. But I want to go back to something you said that I think has a lot of relevance. And I want an answer to this. I want to know how is it that all of these people, like you mentioned Samantha Powers, I'll throw in Nancy Pelosi and a whole host of lawmakers, Republican and Democrat, by the way, on Capitol Hill, who came into office, they had no money, and now they are multi-millionaires many times over. I want to know how that happens.
I want to know how they got their money and how they were influenced and how that influenced the legislation and the votes they cast up on Capitol Hill. We know there's corruption. It's right there in front of our faces. We know all of these people are not just getting lucky on the stock market. There's something else going on, and we've got to get to the bottom of it.
And that's why they're scared of Elon. And that's why. Why they're scared of Donald Trump. Those guys, they got nothing to lose, nothing at all to lose. All right, Dan, got a run.
It's a great call, sir, and great to hear from our listeners in New Hampshire. We're going to take a quick break here, going back to the phones: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. And folks, we have some exciting news about my pillow. They're having their first ever mega sale.

All right, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Can we talk for a moment about About Anderson Cooper and the mainstream media's obsession with big balls. Big balls in Cow Town Balls in Caltown.
Alright, so uh They've been really upset over the 19-year-old who goes by the name Big Balls. And the CNN, very upset about this. Their sensibilities have been offended. And when we come back from the break, we're going to do a deep dive into this because now Anderson Cooper.
Now Anderson Cooper is um You guys all right. We'll we'll get to that in. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Tod Stearns Radio Show. We want to give a special shout out to all of our great listeners across the incredible state of Nevada on the Nevada Talk Network.
Our good buddy Wyatt Cox, doing a great job at the helm of that incredible, incredible radio group. Also, our good buddy Jeff Stein in the Blow Torch of the Midwest, KXEL, Waterloo, Iowa. All right. We told you yesterday about a crazy story involving a pastor in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Greater Second Missionary Baptist Church. And this pastor was using his platform to advocate for violence against President Trump, Elon Musk, and by extension, the America First Movement.
I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line, say hello to the mayor of Hamilton County, Tennessee, Weston Wamp, joins us. mister Mayor, good to have you on the show today. Todd, thanks for having me. All right, mister Mayor, you heard what the pastor said, and I want to get your reaction. Was he out of line with what he said at the pulpit?
Well, Out of Line doesn't even begin to capture how egregious what he did was.
So first of all, political violence in America is never the answer, right? Republican, Democrat, doesn't matter. But it's even more disgusting when it comes from the pulpit in the name of Jesus, right? I mean, this is where you and I have a higher calling than our day jobs. And so, whatever Jesus is brought into the equation, Todd, I get even more frustrated.
That's no justification for violence. And frankly, all of us should steer away from trying to use our religion to justify our political views.
Well, that's just the least of what Caudle gets himself into here because he starts. all of his rant With misinformation, talking about Elon Musk trying to force his way into Treasury, threatening to steal your personal information and Social Security check.
So the basis of what he's saying is a lie. He then pivots into violence. I don't know if his church just doesn't have strong membership, if he's trying to raise money, if he's trying to start a political party over there, but it's certainly not a reflection of our community, which supports Doge. and doesn't support or condone any sort of political violence. No, I'm with you on this.
And by the way, the guy's name is Dr. Steve Caudle, ladies and gentlemen, pastor of the Greater Second Missionary Baptist Church. I thought it was interesting, Mr. Mayor. I guess there is another Missionary Baptist Church, and they posted a message on Facebook saying, Hey, look, it's not us.
We don't advocate for any of this kind of nonsense.
So I suspect even the Christian community, it looks like, in Chattanooga, is turning against this pastor.
Well, we're no different than other communities in the South.
So I'm the mayor of the county. The county's about 380,000 people. This is a conservative county. The city of Chattanooga has gone a little woke. It's tilted a little further and further to the left.
Love the city, spent a lot of my life living in the city of Chattanooga. But what's disappointed me is that very few people have called this out. This does not represent us. Even it doesn't represent, I want to believe it doesn't represent a lot of moderates or liberals in our community. This is extremist and very dangerous language, right?
It's different, I think, for people like me and you for the pulpit to be abused. in this manner. But regardless, This is not how we do business in our country. It sickens me that there's misinformation in the pulpit. I mean, again, I think so many of us have grown weary and cynical about Washington because of trillion-dollar, multi-trillion dollar deficits.
We finally have reason to be confident that somebody in Washington cares. And doctor Toddle is trying to score political points And it's hard to explain, right? It's really hard to understand how a pastor would get to a point in the pulpit where he's describing the kingdom of God of the war zone. He's referring to Elon Musk as the devil. And I just want to be clear that his behavior was unbecoming of any pastor, and it certainly doesn't reflect.
Hamilton County, Tennessee.
Well, I'm glad to hear that. And I know that area very well. And I know it doesn't. But the reality is, you know, a lot of the local media are giving this guy a platform. And he's doubling down on what he said.
And I find that even more troubling. The pastor could have easily said, you know what, I got caught up in the heat of the moment and I misspoke. But, Mr. Mayor, if you actually watch that video, you know that he was reading from prepared remarks.
So he was very intentional on what he wanted to tell that congregation on Sunday.
Well, Todd, you nailed it. That's what I told local media here this morning, is that the only thing that's more disappointing than a pastor condoning political violence is a pastor who can't admit that when they're wrong. And in fact, he went further, really, in a cowardly way. He now wants to explain it away like he was just talking about spiritual warfare. This is, again, it's inexcusable behavior.
He said over and over again that violence is necessary. He used the word violence. Violence is not a word that you use when talking about spiritual warfare. Right? What you have here is a black pastor in a very dangerous community.
The zip code around his church had just in the last year five hundred twenty four calls for service to the Police Department for assaults and aggravated assaults. It's a dangerous community. The last thing I need in my county is for black pastors to be calling for more violence. We need less violence, particularly among our minority communities. That that's where this story goes from really sad and unfortunate to sickening.
Is that we're headed in the wrong direction in some communities where maybe political anger and angst turns into a call for violence. But it is certainly not the way we're trying to steer our community. By the way, folks, Weston Wamp is the mayor of Hamilton County, Tennessee, Chattanooga area on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line today. Mr. Mayor, the illegal immigration issue impacting pretty much the entire state of Tennessee, not, well, the entire country, but especially Tennessee.
We understand that ICE raids have been conducted in Memphis. How big of an issue is that for you there in the eastern part of the state?
Well, it's top of mind to a lot of people in this community, as you can imagine. This is a county that. President Trump won by a larger margin than he has previously. That mandate comes with it, enforcement of our laws. Those are border laws.
Those are also, I think it expands to this mandate that includes Doge. It's one of the things I don't understand about all the complaints about Elon Musk. The president was as transparent as I think he could have been coming into office. That he was going to empower Elon Musk and others in his administration, including the vice president, to go and seek out waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government. And that was overwhelmingly supported by my community.
Yes, I'm it's I'm excited to see it happen. And the reality is, we love people to come to this country. We love immigrants, but you got to come here the right way. You've got to come here the legal way. I mean, it's a pretty simple thing for me.
Yeah, it's a pretty simple thing for most of us. The country was founded on the concepts of the rule of law, to your point. also a an immigration story at the heart of Our country. It will be no surprise to people that the last name WAMP came from Germany, right? But there is a right way to do this in a wrong way.
And again, some of the people it's it's a little bit like Trump's first term. I mean, I don't know what people expect. This is I'd say even more so than in the first term, President Trump is doing what he said he'd do. And uh and some of these people debase themselves. I still don't, going back to the original subject here, there's no excuse for an older gentleman who's a pastor of a church.
To double down, as you described, on his call for violence when, in fact, the President of the United States is doing what he said he would do. when he won in an electoral college landslide. That's it. And I just think a lot of people in this country are not used to Republican lawmakers actually delivering on their campaign promises. And so that has been a very happy and surprising thing for a lot of people.
So, Mr. Mayor, we certainly appreciate you coming on the show today. And I know you're going to join us tonight on my Newsmax show. We'll continue the conversation there. And thanks for doing a great job.
I hear, I mean, look, the entire state's talking about the great work you're doing there in Hamilton County. Thanks, Todd. Appreciate it, man. All right, Weston Wamp, everybody. The mayor of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
That's over the Chattanooga area. Good guy. I have not been to Chattanooga yet. Todd, can we take a field trip? Look, it's a great town, but again, they're dealing with a lot of issues that other cities are dealing with.
They have a huge gang population there, and it's caused big trouble in the downtown area, which, of course, is a big tourist area. But it's a beautiful community. The good news is that Westinawampa is a Republican. Unfortunately, they've had a lot of wobbly, wobbly Republicans in the past. They've had Democrats, and it's really caused big trouble out there.
But yeah, lookout Mountain.
Well, yeah, it's interesting because I think I heard him say Chattanooga got a little woke. And I can't tell you how many times Todd. We get headlines that trickle over to this part. It's gone. Woke, woke.
But again, you know, you've got Hamilton County. That's obviously going to be a lot more friendly to Republicans. But yeah, Chattanooga needs to figure out what they say, it's beautiful. Unbelievably beautiful. Great town.
Great town. Good food scene, good music, good people. But yeah, they've unfortunately got a lot of woke folk.
So, what are you going to do? All right, just moments ago, we pulled this audio from the White House press briefing.
Now, you've got the Democrats out there, and they're hollering and they're going on and on and on about how the nation is in the throes of a constitutional crisis. And they are correct, but that constitutional crisis has nothing to do with Donald Trump. It has nothing to do with Elon Musk. It has everything to do with these federal judges that are now usurping the power of the executive branch. Here's Caroline Levitt.
Many outlets in this room have been fear-mongering the American people into believing there is a constitutional crisis taking place here at the White House. I've been hearing those words a lot lately. But in fact, the real constitutional crisis is taking place within our judicial branch, where district court judges in liberal districts across the country are abusing their power to unilaterally block President Trump's basic executive authority. We believe these judges are acting as judicial activists rather than honest arbiters of the law. And they have issued at least 12 injunctions against this administration in the past 14 days, often without citing any evidence or grounds for their lawsuits.
This is part of a larger Concerted effort by Democrat activists and nothing more than the continuation of the weaponization of justice against President Trump. Quick news flash to these Liberal judges who are supporting their obstructionist efforts. 77 million Americans voted to elect this president. And each injunction is an abuse of the rule of law and an attempt to thwart the will of the people. As the President clearly stated in the Oval Office yesterday, we will comply with the law and the courts, but we will also continue to seek every legal remedy to ultimately overturn these radical injunctions and ensure President Trump's policies can be enacted.
Well said. Look, here's what needs to happen. Every single one of these judges that is trying to stop Donald Trump needs to be impeached. They need to be removed from the bench. I mean, it's really that simple here.
All right, I want to go back here. And, Dieter, I'm glad you're here because I want you to weigh in on this. We've got a. An epidemic in the media, and it's so funny because they don't know who to attack, so they're attacking everybody, but in the process, they're attacking the wrong people. I want you to, and again, I'm talking about the mainstream media and especially CNN and Anderson Cooper.
Big balls in Caltown will all go down. Mozilla.
So Ben, apparently you've got Anderson Cooper and all this week, CNN, Anderson Cooper's been talking about big balls, hairy balls. What? H-A-R-R-Y-B-O-L-Z. Elon Musk renamed himself on the social. My grandma's listening.
I'm sorry, Grandma Dieter. I'm sorry. Cut number five, please.
Now, the disruptor-in-chief, Elon Musk, who apparently has adopted the alias, at least he changed his social media handle to Harry Balls, tweeted this morning, democracy in America is being destroyed by judicial coup. An activist judge is not a real judge. That's CNN. For you, ladies and gentlemen. Then last night, You have once again Anderson Cooper.
Big balls in Caltown. We all go down. Yeah. So Anderson Cooper going at it with Chris Sunudu, who is the former governor of New Hampshire.
So he's like a Republican, right? This actually happened on live television last night. It's 23 days in here, guys. 23 days. You're talking about $2.3 billion that was saved last year.
These guys are saving $2.3 billion a day.
Well, I mean, it's incredible. That's what they're saying. But where's the question? You're not going to be satisfied until he shows up with 10,000 pages. I don't know if you can see it.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, he's giving very specific things, but he's not actually giving any evidence of that. It's all going to come because what they also said was, if we have to go to Congress, we'll go to Congress. Right, but some of the details that have come out, like the $59 million spent on luxury hotels, it's actually not the same. You're talking about the FEMA money that was abused for migrants? That was FEMA money for migrants?
That's okay now? No, I'm not saying it's okay. Don't put words in your mind.
So would you stop that? Would you stop that process? Don't be a dick. What I'm saying is the portrayal. Enough of that.
Really, Anderson Cooper? By the way, Ben Dieter just told me the other guy you heard there was Jeffrey Toobin, who did something so god-awful inappropriate. We can't even tell you what during a Zoom call without any pants on.
So again, so when anybody from CNN wants to complain about offending sensibilities and you've got Jeffrey Toobin on the counter with you there, on the stage with you, yeah, I got problems with that. Yeah, he needs to recuse himself from any segment talking about big balls. Big balls in downtown, we are both down. Big balls. Yeah, can I just say something here?
And thank you, Paul Shanklin, for his very witty humor there. May I just say this about Anderson Cooper talking about big balls, Harry Balls, and now the D-word. I don't know what he's got on his mind, but he needs to go to church. And he needs to pray. Beyond that, Ben Dieter, I will say this, and we got to run to a break here, but anytime you're on a panel with Jeffrey Toobin, I would demand the hands are on the desk at all times.
Hands on the desk, sir. Hands on the desk. Big balls in Cow Town We'll harp up down. Big balls in Captown will dance around. Uh All right, coming up tonight, 5 o'clock on the Todd Stern Show on News Max.
So, we're going to be talking again with Mayor Watt from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Also, Congresswoman Mary Miller is going to join us, as well as Congressman Michael Rooley.
So, we've got a lot going on. Want to get to the phones, though? Let's go to Lexington, Tennessee, WTJS, our terrific affiliate there. Greg is on the line, wants to weigh in on Chattanooga. Hi, Greg.
What's going on? All right, John, thanks for taking my call. Just wanted to throw out a commercial. I haven't been to a lot of aquariums. Saint Pete, there's a big aquarium, but Chattanooga has one of the most amazing aquariums I've ever been to.
Freshwater, they also have sharks. Just an amazing maybe ask the mayor about that tonight because it is worth the trip to Chattanooga. I mean, it it's worth a day trip to just go to Chattanooga to see this aquarium. I spent like six to eight hours in it with my grandchildren. Just amazing.
And it's the Chattanooga. Is that the Chattanooga Aquarium? Is it on the river? Is that I think I've seen that. Yeah.
Yes, yes, it's on the river. All right, that's good to know. As soon as you go there, be sure, like I said, I've been to Ruby Falls, been to look at mountain, and all that. But that aquarium is so educational and just so informative as to anybody that loves fishing is doing themselves a disfavor by not going there. All right, good stuff.
Greg, that is one heck of a great promotion there for the aquarium. I think they call it the Tennessee Aquarium is the official title there in downtown Chattanooga. And Ruby Falls is really nice, I hear.
So um, look out mountain. Ben Dieter, you need to t you need to get uh Grandma Dieter and you should go down and um and do a road trip. How far is it away from Memphis? Oh, geezaloo. It's like.
It's kind of see, it's three and a half hours to Nashville, another two and a half. You got to go over the mountain, Mon Eagle. I would say, what, six, seven hours, maybe? I don't know. It's hard to say.
The bad part is there's not a Buckeys between Memphis and Chattanooga. That's the only downside. Yeah. So, otherwise, it's a great town. All right.
By the way, anybody been to Branson? I'm thinking about planning a road trip to Branson. I may need some guidance there. All right, got to take a quick break here, folks. 901-260-5926.
This is the Todd Stern Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right. Our love is American. Time.
Oh, yeah. Wow. Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Starns Radio Show, hour three of the big show. Good to have you with us wherever you are, border to border, coast to coast, across the fruited plain.
By the way, uh, Dieter. Coming up later this hour, we're going to be talking to Rebecca Dinstel, who is the owner of the world's best candy store, and it's based right here in Memphis, Tennessee. And I say we know that for a fact because Paula Dean recognized Dinstel's as having some of the best chocolate in America. Like, no shade to Hershey, because I basically grew up there. Yeah.
But that's commercialized chocolate. This is handmade. Carefully curated, and it's the best. Over 100 years, they've been in business here in Memphis, and we're going to talk to Rebecca. Valentine's Day is coming up, and I'm telling you, we're going to give away some of her chocolate.
Can I? Can I call into the show? And we're going to get the lowdown on these chocolate-covered strawberries. I'm not a big strawberry guy, but I gorged myself on these things. Yeah.
It's unbelievable. Just forewarning, it's a secret recipe.
So you try to get it out of Rebecca, but that's going to be a tough one. We'll get our liquor up. Get some old Dominic's. Call old Dominic's to get some Tennessee sip and whiskey down here. All right.
We've got a lot happening this hour. Of course, the Doge Committee, Tulsi Gabbard, confirmed. Congratulations there. I want to go right away. But before we do that, before we bring in our next guest, I want to play this audio.
This is from Congressman Garcia. He is a Democrat, and this took place, and it's important for you to hear this kind of language coming from your elected leaders. This just happened in the Doge committee hearing. I find it ironic, of course, that our chairwoman, Congresswoman Green, is in charge of running this committee.
Now, in the last Congress, Chairwoman Green literally showed a dick pic. in our oversight congressional hearing.
So I thought I'd bring one as well.
Now this, of course, we know is President Elon Musk. He's also the world's richest man.
Okay, this line ball, this line ball just shows a picture of Elon Musk and then calls him the D-word. It's just offensive. Then you've got another Democrat, Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, cut number nine.
So I am going to tell you that we do have to. I don't swear in public very well, but we have to f ⁇. Trump. Unbelievable.
Well, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line, and we're honored to bring into the conversation Congressman Glenn Grothman. He represents Wisconsin's sixth congressional district. Congressman first, good to have you with us. And what's your reaction to this profanity coming from these Democrats?
Well World class. And it's really all they can do. Their frustration is that Elon Musk is finding waste in government. If Elon Musk was saying I'm here to explain to President Trump, how important more government-funded preschool is. How important windmills are.
He would be praised up and down by the New York Times and every Democrat out there. But because he is taking a fresh look at government, they are demonizing him and I think quite frankly showing their lack of intelligence. And that you ran off one Democratic congresswoman there, but there were several Democrat congresswomen and men who were using the F word Uh as they took shots. and Elon Musk. I mean, just children.
It's kind of shocking, isn't it? It really is. I mean, it's childish. And again, people, you know, you've got kids out there, and moms and dads used to be able to say, oh, this is your congressperson. This is your senator.
And now these people are down in the gutter and also fomenting violence. And that's what concerns me when you've got the Jasmine Crocketts and the Maxine Waters out there threatening President Trump and the Republican Party congressmen. Oh, right. And that's what happened last time he was in there. And that's the type of thing that does result in one of the two assassination attempts we have.
The funny thing is we know Donald Trump. He's been president for four years. No horrible things happened. All we're going to happen is tremendous good things we can talk about later on. But there was no horrible thing that happened the last time he was in there for four years.
And instead, we get the Democrats. Trying to explain these Someone just short of Hitler, which is scary, and you're right. It's the type of thing that gins up deranged people, they begin to think we're going to lose our republic. And uh kind of unbelievable. And it shows that there are anything to say.
Right, 'cause you don't have to say just use the F word a bunch of times. giggle with your left-wing colleagues back home and Sam the hero.
So Congressman, there is going to be a battle coming, and it's going to be over reconciliation between House Republicans and Senate Republicans. At the end of the day, we have got to get our spending under control. And I'm wondering how that process is going and how do you see it playing out?
Well, we plan on voting uh uh proposed budget out of the budget committee which I'm on. Tomorrow night. I think we are going to get it done because we have to get it done. If we don't get it done, it means that we have not. dealt with Um Well, the fact that we have to keep the the tax rates as they currently are.
Otherwise, there'll be a massive increase in taxes. And I think that will be enough. Keep all the Republicans in line. I am always a little bit concerned that the more moderation Republicans will say, I can't cut this, I can't cut that, or I can't even hold this even. Like right now, it looks like.
We're trying to get our regular budget to be just even for the next two years. There are people who are going to scream about that. There's plenty of waste in the Department of Defense. Uh Doge is going to look into that and shut up Light on that department, but there are going to be people are going to say we can't hold defense spending even for a year in a row or something like that. And then we have our mandatory spending.
We're going to look at a variety of things. I hope they look at what's referred to as welfare generally. But again, there are going to be some moderate Republicans trying to get in the way, and some moderate Republicans. Feel the most important tax cut is helping those wealthy people from high-tax states. Yeah.
Uh Be able to deduct their state and local taxes. You know, we had Andy Biggs on from the House Freedom Caucus a few days ago, and he was talking about their plan, their resolution. It would allocate about $200 billion for border and security, for border security and defense. But then he's looking at $486 billion in spending cuts. What's your take on that one?
I don't think he's going to get there for this reason. President Trump He prides himself on being the party as the average guy. And to get a cut that high, you're going to have to. Go after Medicaid, which is the healthcare program for the poor, maybe try to kick some people off that program. I think some of these Republicans got to get used to Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is for the average guy. And I don't think he'd tolerate that. Not to mention we probably wouldn't have the votes for it. But again and again up here, I get a kick out of it. When people say Donald Trump's for the rich, in this building.
There is nobody looking out for the average guy like Donald Trump. It is true. No, I believe you there, Congressman, and I'm still trying to figure out how in the world all of these folks up on Capitol Hill are multimillionaires many times over when they're only earning a set amount of money from the federal government. I don't get that.
Well, I don't think you know, the implication being that there's a lot of crookedness. Going on up here. I'll tell you this. I don't engage in any day trading or that sort of thing up here because I think all you can do is get yourself in trouble. And I think congressmen who do a lot of buying and selling in stocks rather than just throw the money in the S P five hundred index fund are uh holding themselves up to criticism.
Congressman Glenn Groffman joins us from the great state of Wisconsin. He represents the 6th Congressional District there. Congressman, the whole point of this, and again, people are saying, oh, Elon's trying to get rich. Elon's already rich. He doesn't need your money.
Trump's already rich. He doesn't need our money. And he's not taking a salary. He's giving that away. It just seems to me that the broader issue is, again, getting this budget and getting our financial house in order.
I know Speaker Johnson was talking about the budget hawks he has to deal with. Quite frankly, I would expect every Republican to be a budget hawk. You're absolutely right. Anywhere in the education field, anybody in the welfare field, anybody in the green field, any of that stuff should be looked at. And it's now or never for the country.
I mean, what's going on right now, so your listeners know, we're having. Treasury instruments coming due at zero percent that were issued during the COVID.
Now we're going to have to reissue them at three, three and a half percent. I mean, we've got to cut uh spending dramatically just to stay even. And it's frustrating up here to Republicans who, when in doubt, say yes. They got it used to be when in doubt, say no. And I do think That DOEGE is going to help on that a lot.
For example, one thing that I'd like to see done, I think we have too many aircraft carriers. I think in today's world of drones, And missiles. I don't think the aircraft carriers are like they were in World War II. And even in World War II, we sunk a bunch of Japanese aircraft carriers. That's the type of thing that Doge can say, hey, wait a minute here.
you know in today's world uh we're not going to put something out here that Is that Much towards fighting the last war. And uh Like I said, George will be able to mix it up the way Congress would never do on their own. Love it. All right. Congressman, always great info, great intel.
We'll be paying close attention tomorrow to the big votes, and we certainly appreciate the great work you're doing up on Capitol Hill. Thank you very much. All right, Congressman Glenn Grothman, everybody, representing Wisconsin 6th Congressional District. Yeah, that gets me. You know, with the Republican leadership, well, you know, we got all these different factions and we got the rhinos we got to deal with.
We got to work with the budget hawks over here and the freedom. You know what? Every single Republican, you should be a budget hawk. You ought to be cutting as much as humanly possible is out of the federal government. And I'm telling you, the reason why Trump is doing this quickly is if we keep waiting, we're not going to be able to cut as much.
And I'm still waiting for the internal. We've got to get rid of the Internal Revenue Service. We've got to get rid of the Department of Education. Any other departments that you think we need to get rid of, give us a holler, and we'll add that to our list. But the Congressman is right here that the Pentagon really needs to rethink the way we see and do warfare in this country.
And look at how we're spending. Do you really believe That it's costing them $50,000 to build a hammer. Do you really think that's what all that money is going for? I don't think so. 901-260-5926, our telephone number.
That's 901-260-5926. Some of the other rhetoric. That the congressman was talking about. This is Congress Gal Jasmine Crockett.
Now, you people of Memphis, Tennessee, Congresswoman Crockett represents a Texas district, but she was educated at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. And I'm curious to hear from our Memphis listeners if you can provide us some insight on what the heck they're teaching over at Rhodes.
So this is Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, cut number 13. I do believe that fear is truly warranted in the sense that. people of color Are just going to be rounded up. I mean, this is. This, I mean, we've lived it, especially as black folk in this country, right?
Like it's the racial profiling. And so, whether you're a US citizen, whether you are here as a DACA recipient, whether you are undocumented, whether you are naturalized, whatever your situation is, I think that if you can be mistaken for being a brown person, That you should be concerned because there is nothing that is tatted on anybody's head that says I'm undocumented or I'm a citizen. What is she talking about here? Jasmine Crockett, the graduate of Rhodes College, is saying that the Trump administration is rounding up people of color. Where is the proof that is happening?
And again, she's on some podcast and some dingbat. I don't know who the podcast was. She's a dingbat, but she was agreeing. There's no push. There's never any pushback on these outrageous things.
Nobody is going around rounding up people of color. And here's Jasmine Crockett. On one of the cable channels talking about DEI. Take a listen. COP 14.
That's what's happening right now. I am tired of the white tears. Listen, if you are competent, you are not concerned. When I walk into Congress every single day, you know why I don't feel away and why you can't make me doubt who I am? It's because I know that I had to work 10 times as hard as they did just to get into the seat.
When you look and you compare me to Marjorie Taylor Greene or me to Lauren Boebert, there is no comparison. And that is the life that we have always lived.
So the only people that are crying are the mediocre white boys that have been beaten out by people that historically have had to work so much harder. This is why they don't want us to have education. What is she talking about? As a matter of fact, all of the data on that is. It is so off.
As a matter of fact, most of the women In college right now, getting degrees, and graduate degrees happen to be black women. When you look at the numbers, white boys are the ones who have felt disenfranchised and are no longer going to college because they don't want to get beaten over the head with this idea that they're oppressive people. What is this woman talking about? But nobody, in all of that, nobody pushed back. And all I will say about this is if it had been anybody else, any other skin color, there would have been all you know-what breaking loose on this.
But Jasmine Crockett, the graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and a Congresswoman, one of the most profane, and her behavior is embarrassing. I've been talking to a lot of black conservatives and several black Democrats, by the way, and they're embarrassed by her. I mean, the way she presents herself, conducts herself, it's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number.
We're going to take a quick break. We'll be right back. All right, let's go to the phone lines. Bluffs Creek, North Carolina, Susan. Susan, how are you today?
I'm doing great. I hope you are. I am. Yes, you were asking about. I love your show, by the way.
You were asking about different things that need to be cut. Yeah I have often wondered how much does it cost for these quarters. These the they're they have a committee that probably chooses a person where they're getting paid, and then they have to have an artist come up with a rendition. And yeah, they started out as the state quarters. And that was all fine, but now once you've gone through the state, Now they're going and, you know, let's pick this person.
Let's That's a waste of money. A quarter is a quarter.
Well, a quarter is a quarter, but you're going to be surprised to know this. It doesn't cost all that much to make a quarter. It costs about 15 cents to make a a quarter. It costs, but get this though. But the problem is the penny, which is one of the reasons why President Trump wants to do away with the penny, because it actually cost three cents to produce a one-cent penny.
Well, then what about the artists and the committees involved that choose who's going to be on the quarter? There has to be a cost there.
Well, and there may be. I guess there would be design cost and then you have the shipping. Yeah, I mean, it's a fair point. But I think more people are using quarters than they are pennies these days. True.
That's true. Gotcha. I just want to say real quick. Yeah. Real quick, I appreciate you enjoying the sanitary restaurant.
And next time you're in the area over in Moorhead, there's a place called Ell's. E-L-P-S. It's a drive-in. You really need to try one of their shrimp burgers. Shrimp burger.
All right, Susan, you have me at shrimp burger. Thank you for that, Susan. Hey, we got to take a quick break. We'll be right back, America. All right, America.
Sing along, America. You know the words. Don't be shy. Don't be bashful. Whoa!
Exciting and new. Come on aboard, Veneter. We're expecting you. All right, I can't hear you, Salem, Oregon. You folks in Bartlesville, Houston, Texas.
Come on now. Let it flow. Roll down the windows. Unless you're in Memphis, it's raining. Come on, Ben, sing it.
The love. Boom.
Soon we'll be making another room. Oh wow. The love bones from this is something for every one every sword. It's getting steamy in here. It is.
Wow. All right, welcome back to this Hot Starts Radio Show. It's Valentine's Day coming up Friday, and everybody of a certain age remembers the love boat. It was what, was it Friday nights? Wait a second.
You had the love boat, and then you had Fantasy Island. Ben Dieter, do you remember the love boats? No. Your parents would. Grandma Dieter would know.
Okay. Is it an actual boat?
Well, it was, yes. And by the way, I think that one TV show on ABC was the reason why people started taking cruises. I mean, it was like a big deal. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line because we have probably one of our most important guests of the year joining us. She is the owner and president of Denstall's Fine Candy Company right here in Memphis, Tennessee, Rebecca Denstall.
Rebecca, how's it going today? Painty cod.
Well, love is everywhere here at Dinstalls, and we are ready. I love this.
Now, Rebecca, did you ever watch The Love Boat back in the day? Absolutely, I did. Every Friday night. You're right. It is.
And then you had Fantasy Island with mister Rourke in Tattoo, and that was always a lot of fun for us kids. We we knew that we were we were doing well if mom and dad let us stay up to watch Phantasy Island. Yeah. Back in the day. Oh, yes.
So, look, this is a very important day in America, Rebecca, because today is dipping day. Starting today, you guys are going to be dipping the chocolate-covered strawberries. And I don't know how you guys do that. I'm not a big strawberry fan, but I scarf down every single strawberry that you guys sent over last year.
Well, now you must share a little bit, you know. No, I don't think so. No, Rebecca, Rebecca, Ben, been here. He doesn't share. No, I can confirm Todd scarf those things down.
It's true. But, Rebecca, first of all, we're going to talk about all the great things that you guys are doing. But I want to talk about the company because I love, you know, I own KWAM in Memphis, Tennessee, and it's a family-owned company. And I have a special place in my heart for family-run companies. And you guys have been making candy since 1902.
Is that right? That's right. We're celebrating our one hundred twenty third year in business And we are five generations strong with the densils in the family, and now we've added the moss family, so together. This is going to be the future of the company into the next generation.
Well, I just love this. And everything you guys do is so well done. And I know you have shops all over Memphis. And the good news is that you ship as well. And we'll get to that.
But I'm just curious, what is it about digitals that has really allowed you guys to be in business for so many years?
Well, the first thing is the quality of the ingredients that we use. We still make it the old fashioned way as we started in nineteen oh two. The chocolate is the finest chocolate you can find anywhere in the world. Our milk chocolate formula comes from the origin of milk chocolate in 1875 out of Switzerland. And the quality is still there.
We will not make any sacrifices on quality.
So I think that's the basis for our company. But then again, the customer service that we offer, when you pick up the phone and call Denstels, you're going to talk to a person, not a recording. I'm firm on that because if someone takes the time, then we want to be here for them. And we just love our customers. And they have...
People have made us popular and have carried us through these many years. And so we appreciate everything they do. I know some of the other national radio hosts, they do the Sherry's Berries, and we love Sherry's Berries. But I'm like, I know somebody who's better than Sherry's Berries, and it's Denstels, and they're right here in Memphis. And you guys just do such an amazing job.
May I just say my favorite thing that you guys do is the, I call it crack, but it's catch you crunch. Yes. Wow. Well, that's a pure butter brittle. You know, we start with fresh butter, it's all hand stirred in copper kettles.
made in small batches. And it's just got cashew pieces, so it's a little softer brittle than normal. Yeah. Popped off with a very fine coconut, and it just makes a combination that makes you come back for more. Oh, it sure does.
Denstels.com, ladies and gentlemen, D-I-N-S-T-U-H-L-S, Denstels.com. And you can check out all of their incredible candies there. And you do actually, there is shipping. You guys even will ship the strawberries. Yes, the strawberries, because they're so perishable, must be shipped overnight.
Many of our other products this time of year, we can ship ground.
So it just depends on where it's going and the perishable nature of the product itself. But if you'll call our store, we actually have a toll free line. 1-800-355-0358. And that's available. You can find it online as well.
But we can talk you through whatever you would like. You can go on the website and pick out your favorite things, and we will get it to you by Valentine. And one of the things I love you're doing, and you are so active in the community. You're doing a lot. You were very involved with, I know, the Liberty Bowl, and you do a lot in this community.
And one of the things that you guys are doing is supporting Stacks Music Academy. And of course, we've got with K-Ram, the radio station I own, we have a connection to Stacks when it was created. And that's a wonderful opportunity. You guys are providing Groovalicious Chocolate Records. That's right.
It's a solid chocolate, forty five sized record, and it grew valicious. It is a delicious milk chocolate. And a large portion of the price of the record goes towards Sachs Music Academy. And then in addition to that, we've added on a coffee component So you can buy the coffee, glue delicious bundle and just have a wonderful treat. Sit around and munch on that chocolate and have a nice rich cup of coffee from Jay Brooks Roasters here in Memphis.
Do you guys like, I mean, a lot of guys, and no offense, guys, but we do this. We wait till the last minute to get out there and get our Valentine's present. Do you guys have a rush on Valentine's Day? Yes, and it is beginning today. We're starting to see the surge.
Tomorrow will be crazy in our stores as well as Friday.
So it's not too late. You can still give us a call. We will get the products to you. Or come on in our store if you're close enough to Memphis. We'd love to see you.
It's a fun atmosphere. And there's just a lot of love going around here. There is. And I don't know. I always shop at the Germantown location, which is conveniently located directly next door to the wine shop, Rebecca.
I don't know if you intended that to happen, but. Ha ha. That's the way that works. Rebecca Dinchtal joining us on our Patriot Mobile newsmaker line. She's the owner of Denchtal's Fine Candy Company, and it really is one of my favorite places in Memphis.
And the reason why is: look, you're having a bad day, and you go and you get yourself some chocolate, and you always smile when you leave Dinchtal's candies. That's right. That's one of our slogans is we sell happiness. Oh, wow.
It's hard to come into the candy store and not have a great day. And if you're having a tough day when you walk in, we're going to make sure we turn it around before you leave. Do you have like a top seller for Valentine's Day?
Well, this year we have the beautiful heart shake boxes that are handpacked with our fresh chocolates. But the strawberries are definitely one of the top sellers this year. We will probably produce about eight thousand pounds That will be sold, maybe sold and consumed in three days, if you can imagine. 8,000, wait, wait, wait, 8,000 pounds of strawberries in three days. Right, that is right.
And you know, something a little different. You mentioned Cherry's berries, and they make a great product. strawberries are different. We actually enrod the entire berry into a sugar fondant. And then in the chocolate, so you get all that juice trapped inside.
So they're a little messy to eat, but boy, are they yummy? Can I say something, Rebecca? You know, I'm a Southern, I'm a Baptist. And I took a bite of that, and I wasn't prepared for what I was about to eat. And I just started, I started speaking in tongues.
And we don't do that as Baptists, it was that good. Yeah. Oh, I'm so glad you liked it. All right. Well, Rebecca, we just look, I thank you for coming on the show, and we really do thank you for what you're doing, not just here in Memphis and the Mid South, but really all across America and bringing a lot of happiness.
And who doesn't love some delicious homemade candies?
Well, thanks so much, Todd, for all your support. We love you and we thank you. And I hope you have a very happy Valentine.
Well, you too, my cardiologist would like to have a word with you later, but we can talk about that after. All right. All right. Happy Valentine's Day. We're back up.
You too, Todd. All right. Bye-bye. What a great lady. And Ben Dater, you can tell she just loves what she does.
And the whole family's like that. Yeah. They're lovable. They're sweet. And I bet it's because they eat a lot of chocolate.
So here's what I want you to do. This is the 800 number. I want you to give them a call. You can go to their website, dingitals.com, D-I-N-S-T-U-H-L-S.com, Dingitals.com, or give them a call, 1-800-8-0-0-0-0-0- 355. I'm looking here.
My glasses need to work. 1-800-355-0358. That's 1-800-355-0358. And you'll be able to order. And I'm telling you, those strawberries.
No, that's the difference between Sherry's berries and these chocolates is that cream that is in between.
So there's actually a yummy cream between the strawberry and the chocolate. And they love America too. And that's what I love. They do a lot of stuff around the 4th of July. They just, they're good, good people.
And chocolate's good for you. My mom just asked. She said, it sounds great, but I'm on a diet. And I looked it up, and sure enough, It's great for your heart. It's good for you.
Just like wine.
So here's what we're going to do. We're going to give away. We're going to give away a box of the Valentine's Day chocolates to one of our lucky listeners. And I'm going to throw out a question here. And if you know the answer, give us a call.
And if you get it right, you're going to win, and we'll have it shipped directly to you. Here is the question: You just heard the love boat theme there. Can we get the love boat theme back, Dylan, as we go to break here?
So the love boat.
So you've got the whole crew of the loveboat, right? You want to sing along, Ben? It's a catchy tune. Sure, I've looked up the lyrics now. Oh, you can't.
That's cheating. I don't know these lyrics. Oh, Ben. What are they teaching you kids in school these days? Come on now.
Love. Love. Exciting and new. And new. All right, take it away, Dieter.
Love! We're expecting you more than love. All right, here's what we're gonna do. Here's our question: We need to know who is the captain of the loveboat. We need to know his name.
Who is the captain of the loveboat? If you know, give us a call: 901-260-5926. The captain of the love boat, 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Starge Show. The love boom promises something for everyone.
Uh Set a course for Britain. Answer your mind on a new roadmap. All right, welcome back, everybody. Good to have you with us. Wow, full lines here.
Let's go to the phone lines, Jackson, Tennessee. Carrie is on the line. Hi, Carrie. How are you today? I'm good.
Good, Carrie. We're going to try to win you some delicious chocolates from Dingstals. But first, you have to tell us who was the captain of the loveboat. If I remember correctly, I was Well, I know I was really young, but I think it was Captain Stubing. All right, let's go to the tape here.
Captain Merrill Stubing at your command. And Kerry, you are the winner. That'd be awesome. Gary, have you ever had dinghtals before? I have not, but I've heard you talk about them a lot, and I'm really excited about them.
You are going to love it. And by the way, if you're a big Elvis fan, you should go to their stores because they do a lot of Elvis-themed chocolates, which is pretty awesome as well. We're going to put you on hold, Carrie, and we're going to make sure the lovely Miss Cassie gets all of your info. And congratulations. Enjoy that candy from Dentals.
Let's go to Bill in Tennessee. OG, Bill. Hi, Bill. What's going on? Hey, Todd.
I was going to say it was Merle Steubing, and it was played by Gavin McLeod, but. I uh I got beat to the bones by Jackson. Um the uh I wanted to mention one thing about uh Vinstels, though. If you're diabetic, they have a very good line of full line of sugar-free chocolate items. The whole cooler.
Oh, is that right? I didn't realize that. They do. And my favorite is the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup type things they have. Let me tell you something, Bill.
I'm telling you, it's whether it's I'm a big thin mints guy, and they do them all from scratch, and it is the best stinking chocolate I have ever had. It is. It's very good. And they're always so friendly. It's kind of like, you know, I'm just, I love going into family-owned.
I go to a family-owned pharmacy, I go to the dentistls family-owned, and every time you go to a family-owned place, there's just people treat you differently. They do. It's more of a homey, we care about your attitude. And it's not like Some of the bigger teams that just have hours that suit the cores and not the customers. That's it, Bill.
You're absolutely right. We're going to do a big small business salute very soon on the show because there are so many of those places all around America, and we love those kinds of folks. OG Bill, thank you for calling in. And there you go. There's a whole line of sugar-free chocolates available at Dinitals as well.
