Most Important Election Since Civil War is 42 Days Away

Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. See? That's right. I love this American ride and today for Todd. My name is Harry Hurley with executive producer Grace and Dylan and Lydia.

An honor to fill in for Todd, who is on special assignment. Todd is at the Spiritual Leadership Conference in Lancaster, California, hosted by the Lancaster Baptist Church.

So, Todd, thank you for the opportunity to keep your seat filled, but no one can actually fill your seat. The theme throughout today's program is going to be that in 42 days, and actually, we have to be clear about this. Multiple states are already voting. I don't know about you. I used to love one election day, and by about 11 o'clock, no later than 12 midnight.

We would know who the president is. Winners used to win, losers used to lose.

Now we have election season.

So when I say it's 42 days, until the most important election since the Civil War. That's quasi accurate, but Millions of votes. many, many millions of votes. Tens of millions of votes will be cast prior to November 5th.

Now, the good news is more votes will be. Cast on November 5th than prior. to November fifth. But remember this And Republicans became pretty good at this. losing the election before election day.

You cannot Trade in an election space where you take the position, I don't believe in early voting, I don't believe in mail-in voting.

Well, Democrats do. Your opponent does.

So if you sit back and you wait and you remember, hope. is not a strategy. If you sit back and you wait until November 5th.

Now, look, there are many people listening, I'm sure, in the Todd Starnes universe. I always vote. on election day. During the pandemic election of 2020, which really is the only election that Joe Biden ever could have won, you had to have special circumstances. because he was completely unelectable.

It had to be that the Democratic nominee that it was okay to hang out in the basement. and and take a couple of trips from Delaware. to Scranton, Pennsylvania and act like you're hot on the campaign trail. You know, a lot of people got stuck on stupid stuff about the election. It wasn't any of that.

It was that. Democrats Did it and they barely pulled it off. If you add up Maybe three battleground states, forty or fifty thousand votes. over three or four States, And President Trump would have won a second consecutive term.

Now he's going to have to win it two non-consecutive terms, which I. Present to you is actually better because, as of January 20th, we get him back, and he gets the chance to fix America twice.

So, I think it's a win-win. It's a net plus, it's a bonus because two terms would be almost over, and who knows what. would be going on right now. I don't think Biden would have been able to run. Who knows?

Gavin Newsome, somebody uh You know, when there's a vacuum, someone fills it. But let me encourage you, because I know what the Democrat media is trying to do right now. The Democrat media is trying to hoodwink you. They want you to believe your guy has lost No no reason to even vote. You've seen this happen before.

In my home state of New Jersey, Jack Chittarelli. could have and should have done exactly what Glenn Young did in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This is all up again next year, by the way. New Jersey and Virginia are the only two governor races on the ballot. It's called off-off year.

The year after the presidential election, New Jersey and Virginia Elect their governor.

Now, in New Jersey, you can serve the multiple terms, as I think a lot of you know, and if you don't, you'll know it now. In the Commonwealth of Virginia, you can be governor more than once. But you can only serve I don't like it. I have no problem with two terms and then you're either done or you have to sit out and you can come back. It used to be that way.

Remember in New York, Bloomberg changed the rules and ran a third time. I have no problem with the two terms. I think two terms you can get a lot done, and if you don't, a lot of it is on you and give somebody else a chance. I don't like this Commonwealth of Virginia thing, though. Four years, and then you so Glenn Younken.

He Cannot run. He knows that. He's got a year and a few months, and he knows he cannot run for that position.

So in Virginia, over the years, you had people like Governor Allen, who would become United States Senator Allen, and then they run it's like a musical chairs thing, they run for the different seats.

sort of over and over again. But the Democrat the Republican National Committee And really, we have Terry McAwffell to thank for it. He was going to win. and he had served a four year term in the past, And I think it was eight or twelve years later, he's coming back to try to win it again, and he would have won. Glenn Young is fabulous.

And I love him. He's terrific. But he would have lost. Terry McLaughlin had it until he said, Hey, parents. you have no say.

In your children's Schooling.

So, when I tell you this is the most important election. since the Civil War. These are the kinds of things that are on the ballot. Who in the world would believe parents parents don't have say parents should have the most say? These Democrats, they're crazy.

They have it exactly wrong.

So typically wrong.

So McAwffle says that. And then that was that. The whole thing turned around. still relatively close. Youngkin wins.

But in New Jersey, My home state, they don't believe the Republican National Committee that Jack Chittarelli can win because they believe the polls. And Jack Chittorelli kept saying, I would say it on my platform, that the polls are wrong. And, you know, people say that. And it's like you're just making excuses. No, the polls were wrong.

These are bad polls in many cases. They poll unlikely voters, whoever heard of such a thing. I only believe in polling that polls likely voters. Why would you poll unlikely voters? And in some cases, they don't poll voters at all, they polluted voters.

persons. That's even dumber. At least a registered voter might vote. But a likely voter And that's typically defined as someone that's voted in three consecutive presidential elections. You've got a really good chance.

That's somebody that's been voting twelve years. Which probably means they vote their local ballot, school board, and local races, and county and state, and so on. Governor. But why would you poll unlikely voters?

So whenever I see some of these polls and I say, oh, look at this outlier, I guarantee you it's registered voters or just persons. And by and large, that's exactly what it turns out to be. When you follow polling like Rasmussen and some of the others, I consider that an A-plus poll for many, many years, decades, and they're polling likely voters. President Trump's strongest poll is a likely voter poll. Typically, He performs Not as well.

In the persons or the registered voters, because they're unlikely voters. And don't forget, there's always a factor of those that see the retaliation that takes place. They don't want to tell some stranger who they're voting for.

So Trump, when you look at, for example, whether it was 2016 or 2020. Hillary Clinton and then the Joe Biden election with President Trump. they would show him trailing way behind in Wisconsin. One time it was like the the Friday before the election or even the Monday before the election, and they say Trump's down by fourteen points, fifteen points or more. And he wound up losing by 20,000 votes out of 3.3 million.

Votes that were cast. What I am telling you today on the Todd Starn show. Don't believe them. Trump always overperforms the polling. He was allegedly Nine points behind Hillary Clinton at this time in 2016, seven and a half points behind Joe Biden at this time in 2020.

And as you know, it didn't turn out anything like that. And also, don't get hung up. Your Democrat media loves to tell you the national poll.

Well That's silly, isn't it? Because that's not how we elect our president. as you know. because you're the most informed citizenry in the electorate. On the Todd Starn show, you know that it's the Electoral College that elects the president.

So I want to know. state by state. What's going on? And let's face it. There's only about seven states that we don't, we can, we could go to sleep right now.

And just pretend it's it's Christmas Eve. Because it's only seven states. that are going to decide this thing. And I've good news for you. President Trump might win the popular vote.

If you were going to break my arm behind my back and make me cry for Uncle and say, who do I think is going to win the popular vote? I would say That Harris will probably win the popular vote, but that's only because of California. and several other very uh You can't even say. hard left or liberal anymore, socialist democrat states. But that doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter how many millions of votes you win California or this one or that one by. Tell me who's gonna win. Pennsylvania. And I can almost tell you who will win the election. Tell me who's going to win Georgia.

and Wisconsin. and North Carolina. and Nevada. And a couple more. And that's going to be Who wins the election?

So I am urging you, and it takes discipline. Don't let them steal your joy Kamala Harris is not the only one that's running an election as being a joyful person. You know, this whole thing is a fake flim-flam sham. It's a joke. The most unserious candidate ever to run, didn't get a single vote anywhere.

It's a coup. They threw their president out. And installed another one with no votes. And let's not forget. She was the first one out in the 2020 election.

The first one out. And. She would have finished eighth, In the Democrat primary in her own home state of California. Extremely unpopular. Before this became so wonderful and fantastical, and everything changed.

And suddenly, this person is a world beater. She was considered the worst vice president in history. This is Democrat media, a drag on the ticket that must be replaced, and a 37%. favorability rating.

So if you want to see What the fake Democrat news media is capable of. Look at this rewrite. that they're trying to pull off. It's not going to work. They are trying to con you into believing That it's good that it's going to work.

After the break. I'm going to give you I always love to give To the extent that it's possible, empirical evidence Not OPINION Smack talk. If you share something Like for example, New York Times Sienna polling, never a best friend of President Trump. And they seem to typically poll registered voters, not likely voters. I don't especially now that we're forty two days From the general election, and people are actually voting right now.

There should not be another poll. And there are, which means they do it on purpose. They want to poll unlikely voters because they want to give you a result that's not real. And they want to dispirit you because maybe you won't Leave work to go vote. If you're not fortunate enough to have a special job like some of the Democrats, where they get election day off and stuff like that.

You might have to actually leave work or Go to vote and then go to work, or right after work, go to vote. They want you to think, ah, I would have done it, but they're telling me it's over. My guy can't win. Don't let them do that. And I will give you.

All right, remember I said empirical evidence, because opinions are one thing, and sometimes people could just try to make you feel good and that something else is happening, and it's just you know, in a few weeks your heart's going to be broken. Election Day by the calendar is exactly six weeks from today.

As we know, though, with the early voting, the election is already underway. I think it's incumbent upon Republicans to not get skunked in the early voting and the vote by mail. And then Election Day, they always win.

So hang tough. Stay close with the early stuff. Do what Governor Ron DeSantis did. It was textbook. And by the way, How do they count like twelve, thirteen million votes All in one day.

And the media was shameful. They held Florida for way too long, but they really had their results ready to go in the late nine o'clock hour. And for some reason, the Democrat media just held Florida because things were looking so good on the first night of the election. Remember, we have election season now. Uh and so they wouldn't Announced that Florida was in the Trump column.

He won it big. It was not in doubt. But People should take a little lesson from what Ron DeSantis and the Republicans do in Florida. They get it done. And they got a lot of people off the rolls.

And remember, they're trying to say, oh, Florida's in play. No, it's not. There are a million more Republicans now than Democrats. Florida used to be Under 1% difference. If you remember how close it was the first time that Governor DeSantis won over Andrew Gillum, who then very quickly thereafter was in some kind of trouble, that would have been a disaster.

He he l You had only a win of a fraction of a percentage point. And then Senator Scott barely won by like a half a point or less.

So Don't let them steal your joy. Do not let them trick you. Trump is winning the battleground states. He's winning in some of the national polls, even. Congressman.

Note, Congressman, I did not say the State of Pennsylvania. I think I'm already earning my fill-in duty title from the 10th Congressional District. Congressman Perry, welcome to Todd's program.

Harry, great to be with you. And do note it, yes, indeed. Thank you, sir. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Yes.

Battleground. For the next President of the United States. It's ground zero, Pennsylvania, if the President President Trump wins Pennsylvania, he will be the forty-seventh President of the United States. I'm not saying this to be your new best pal. I totally agree with that comment, and I've used it myself.

I truly believe that. If we know that President Trump carries Pennsylvania, and I think you all fixed some of the things before that happened with that all vote-by-mail election, people got stuck on stupid stuff. It had nothing to do with stupid stuff. I think Democrats. Beat us by getting their vote in earlier.

We won on election day, but simply not by enough.

So, my theory is. Get some of our vote out, do what we naturally do the best on General Election Day itself, November 5th. And I just don't see how President Trump will lose the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I also believe, and I don't agree with him on very much, but I agree with Senator Fetterman. When President Trump was nearly assassinated, as you know, in Butler, Pennsylvania.

there's a like a a a kindred just kinship there with Trump and Pennsylvania. And if what I heard this morning is correct, and correct me if I'm wrong, Congressman Perry, but President Trump shall return, and I understand Saturday, October 5th. President Trump will be coming back to the scene of the crime. Butler, Pennsylvania, and I think that'll just bring the house down. Yes, of course, look, the President is unafraid.

He's undeterred. He knows what his mission is. He is on this crusade to save the Republic. and not assassins, not left wing loons, not complicit media that That is in the tank for the so-called Democrat Party. Nothing is going to dissuade him.

from reaching out and hearing from the people that he hopes will be his bosses, the millions of Americans that know they can't afford their groceries, their gasoline, their electricity bills, their day care bills, that the daily grind of life has has worn out, of course, the constituents in Pennsylvania and across the country. He's going to appeal to them. He's going to remind them of how great their life was when he was President. And he's going to outline a plan about how he's going to bring back That greatness so that Americans can realize their full potential and live generally stress-free. Not worried about What war their son or daughter might have to go to and never return from, not worried about.

is there going to be another job for me if I leave this one not worried about why can't I pay my bills even though I might be making more money that the cost of inflation where the Democrats say it might be twenty percent, but of course, the product size is reduced by another twenty five percent. I mean, Americans are living this and they're desperate to get out of it. It's such a good point, Congressman Perry. And those tuning in, Congressman Scott Perry is appearing on the Todd Starn show on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. And a lot of people, and I think our Democrat media does it on purpose, they might talk about inflation is coming down from 9.1% down to the 3% range.

However, the prices have stayed up, and it's become devastating for people to load their credit cards up, to raid their 401ks. I mean, there's a day of reckoning because of these four years of Joe Biden and Kamala Harrison. And I do believe this is a pocketbook election. People will vote thinking about, hey, four years ago. The paycheck you know, went And I paid for everything I needed.

I could get a mortgage if I needed one.

Now I can't. Gasoline was a dollar something a gallon.

Now it's three, four dollars and beyond. We were energy independent, net oil exporter. I mean, there were no wars. Putin wouldn't have thought about invading Ukraine. I don't believe Hamas ever would have attacked Israel.

We would not have had the debacle that we had in Afghanistan. I believe all of these are truths that we can prove, Congressman. I think you're absolutely right. And while the media and certainly the Kamala Harris campaign with With a stolen valor hero, Tim Walzer out there gaslighting. us every single day.

Look, you can gaslight people all all that you want to, but as soon as they walk away from the T V or the radio or the newspaper, they end up at a grocery store or they're sitting there paying their bills in the evening or what have you, and reality smacks them in the face. they even lefties who want to support Kamala Harris and are telling you somehow that Trump is a threat to democracy, they know that A, they can't afford their groceries and B, that their candidate is the one that receives zero votes And you're somehow on the ticket to be the next president of the United States, right? You can gaslight us as much as you want, but at some point, when you walk away from the gaslighting, you're in reality. And if you have a brain in your head, you're going to vote according to the reality that you're living. Trevor Burrus, Jr.: That's right.

And Congressman Perry, when she was on the ballot, she was the first one out. She got very little support, not a single delegate. Would have gotten eighth place in her own state of California, a real non-performer, just like 1% Joe until Barack Obama picked him as his VP.

So two that have lost their way, they think to the top. Could not agree more with you on that. Congressman Perry, here's something that I want to assume that we're going to have agreement, and I understand when there's split governance, it gets a little tricky. But we haven't always had split governance, and yet we still keep operating. upon continuing resolutions.

The American people can't do that. They have to have a budget. Anybody that works for their company, they get a budget. They have to meet it or exceed it. But our Congress operates and our President Under one continuing resolution after another, something has to be done about that.

Doesn't it? You're absolutely right. Look, I'm from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. recognize and acknowledge Groundhog Day in the springtime, but this is Groundhog Day in September. Every single September, we have a Senate that refuses to pass one appropriations bill.

It doesn't matter how much we do our work in the House of Representatives, there's no dance partner on the Senate side. And it's by design, they don't want to pass any. They want these CRs, these continued resolutions. They want the end of the year omnibus. Because they want to continue to spend, and they don't care how much they bankrupt the country or the people.

And load it up. They want to load it up with all kinds of stuff. This is why I'm so excited for a change in Senate leadership. I think that the Republicans will take the Senate. Mitch McConnell will not be the leader.

So I'm hoping that Rick Scott will be the leader and this This carrying on and this continual bankrupting of the country will come to an end, and we can finally start doing some of the hard work that the American people send us here to do. We are on the same page. This is incredible. Congressman Scott Perry of the 10th Congressional District of the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. And by the way, I'm your next-door neighbor in New Jersey, so I know well of Punksatawney Phil and Gobbler's Knob.

So I get it. I know what you're talking about when you bring up Groundhog's Day. The Save Act. What can you say about that?

Well, look, it could be unnecessary, but let's face it, in New Jersey and certainly in Pennsylvania, our governor is allowing people here illegally in our country to get a driver's license, and with that comes Motor Voter. And like they gaslighted us on federal government paid health care that illegals were never going to get it, of course, they're getting it, just like the fact that they're telling us that illegals are not going to vote in our elections. They wouldn't be registering them if they weren't planning on having them vote. It is illegal for them to be voting. The SAVE Act says that states are going to enforce it.

I would just say this, we have speed limit laws in the United States, but if we had no police to enforce them, no one would no one would bother to abide by them. It's the same thing with the Save Act. We have a law, but there's no one forcing people to abide by it. The SABE Act would require states to ensure that the only people voting are American citizens. And of course, the Democrats are universally opposed to that.

I wonder why. I know. And isn't that incredible, Congressman Perry? On that topic, there is a state that got about 18,000 voters taken off the rolls because they can't prove that they're citizens. That's the whole point.

It's right there in that beautiful document that you don't get to vote if you're not a United States citizen. But in Arizona, as you know, that's why these elections really matter. I've been calling this today on Todd's show, Congressman Perry. This is the most important election since the Civil War. How in the world, I understand, because they're Democrats.

They're not judges anymore. They're Democrats in robes. Arizona Supremes, they voted to let 98,000 people be put back on the voting rolls for this election that. They can't prove they're Americans.

So, really, I mean, unless there's some weird thing going on, I wouldn't have any problem proving I'm an American. I don't think you would. I know you wouldn't. But. How can these 98,000 people, and as you know, Arizona was decided by like 16,000 votes in 2020?

Of course. And so 98,000, that's determinative, that number. That's exactly right. This is all by design. It's why elections must be Closely and tightly monitored upfront because after the election happens, there is no remedy.

That's why this all has to be dealt with prior to the election. People here illegally can't be allowed to vote in our elections any more than you would allow a stranger to come into your house and tell you what color to paint your walls. They don't have any business making the decisions for the country they are not a citizen of. That's exactly right. Congressman Perry, great to visit with you today.

So stay with us on the Todd Starring show for that. Relative to many of the comments that I would just second that Congressman Perry from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania just shared. I really meant that. It wasn't a throwaway at all. Especially if Republicans can win the House and can win the Senate.

And win the presidency and all three very very doable If you ask most people, They will tell you Republicans, Democrats are defending many more seats in the Senate this election cycle than Republicans. The midterm election, which Republicans should have taken the majority in the Senate, they were, in fairness, defending many more seats than the Democrats. Then the issue, the abortion issue, took off, and several races that would have flipped went to the Democrat, and that's why the margins in the House. I think that abortion flim flam of whoever it was that criminally leaked the early Dobbs decision. Remember, they always tell us, oh, we may never know.

Oh, yeah, we'll never know. We'll never know whose cocaine that was in Biden's White House. And we'll never know who leaked the decision.

Well, wait a minute. There's nine Supreme Court justices. They have X numbers of law clerks. There's X number of administrative staff.

So you're really looking at. I mean, next to nothing. This would have been probably three dozen more house seats. And it would have been Four three to four Senate seats would be a whole different ballgame. But of course they rode that.

issue like it was secretariat. In the triple crown. And you know how that turned out. The greatest horse of all time.

So it is crunch time. It is the final push, believe it or not. And with early voting all over the place, Some states have it for a month and more, some for weeks. My home state has it for A week. I think this is crazy.

These places that are voting now. What if something that would swing the whole thing. happens But you've cast an early vote. more than a month before Election Day. I've just never believed that that makes sense.

And yet this is what we have now. Election season But remember when you hear your Democrat media. They want to dispirit you. And con you into believing That Harris is winning. Just understand, she is dramatically underperforming both Hillary Clinton in 2016.

and Joe Biden in twenty twenty by a lot. For example, The Democrat media will tout. And they're so despicable that when they don't like their own poll, they don't even talk about their own poll, talk about somebody else's. It it's it's just awful. Their intellectual dishonesty is just breathtaking.

So they'll brag about a CBS poll today and an NBC poll today. And of course, although they're outliers, they get cumed into the average.

So they'll tell you, oh, the average right now is Harris 49, Trump 47 on the popular vote. Then they won't even talk about the battleground states that are going to decide the whole thing. But what they're not telling you about. is the Rasmussen poll that's actually likely voters. And um Even the New York Times Siena poll, which is Registered voters.

In the Rasmussen poll, Trump leads nationally 49.47. In the New York Times Sienna poll, no fan, no friend of Trump, he leads 49.48. Of course, that's within the margin of error, and it's very, very close. But go to the battleground states And that My friends is where it all happens. The nat the poll, the national popular vote.

is going to be what it's going to be. President George W. Bush lost the popular vote to Al Gore. He was actually heading to a great popular vote win and a very comfortable Electoral College win. And then that DUI issue came up, and it got very, very close.

He lost the popular vote. Remember, if you don't remember this, Al Gore came out publicly And because they knew they couldn't win the popular vote, so they had to say, hey, we're going to win the Democrat vote or the rather the Electoral College.

I've been following his social media, which has been great on this. It's an event hosted by the Lancaster Baptist Church, and Todd will be back in the very near future. On the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker hotline is United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew, a great Republican from the 2nd Congressional District of New Jersey, very much aligned with and close with our once and future president, Donald J. Trump. Congressman Van Drew, welcome to the Top Star Show.

It's great to be with you, Harry. I appreciate what you do, and you are filling in for a great guy too, Todd Storm.

So You guys are a good tag team. Thank you, Congressman. As you know, President Trump is in Georgia today. He's talking about the economy. Do you feel a little bit of this sort of bizarro world, Alice in Wonderland?

I mean, like a con job that they're trying to perpetrate right now, this coup d'etat. They throw Biden out. They throw Harris in. She goes from 37 percent approval to the worst vice president in history to the Democrat media saying she needs to be knocked off of the ticket. She's a disaster.

The borders are, the space czar, everything she touches. We've got the astronauts that can't get home until Elon Musk can do it in February. I mean, it's just abject failure. at at every turn, and they're trying to con us that the problem is somehow the new change we've been clamoring for, it's a bit much to take. It is a bit much, Harry.

You said it well. I mean, it is bizarre It's weird. Um it's scary. There is a sense of urgency with so many people this election because of this kind of stuff. I mean, think about this: the United States of America.

So a week sitting president the sitting candidate Joe Biden does horribly in the debate. Yep, they remove him. They then a small group of people essentially Okay. Carmel Harris. And everything you said is true.

It's unpopular Vice President. The media is immediately in lockstep. I mean, it's just so sad. They're locked up to the point that they're making her like this Energetic, aspirational, amazing. Individual, I mean, she and you know you know what's really disturbing.

What disturbs me is this would never for all the thoughts the Republican Party has, and Harry, there are many, right? Yeah. You just couldn't take a president out and shove somebody else in as a candidate and then have everybody in agreement. There was no voice of dissent. It's scary that's it.

It is scary. It's bizarre. And as you know, Congressman, if the flip side were true, but we know it couldn't be, because we would never do it like that because it's completely undemocratic. If it happened in reverse and Republicans did change nothing, that Republicans did exactly lockstep every single thing the Democrats have done, the Democrat media would. savage.

that that coup. They would crush it. Yes, and you're exactly right. And That's why I guess what bothers me more than anything else. You know, there used to be a time in America.

That the news is really the news. It shouldn't be the news for Republicans and the news for Democrats. Just tell it how it is. Yeah. It just isn't anymore.

I mean, ABC, CBS, NBC, most of the major newspapers, they just control everything. And by the way, as you know, and a lot of people will remember this man. A lot of people younger will not remember this man. But Walter Cronkite, who was a rabid lefty, you would not have known it from the job he did on air, and he ended every broadcast with, and that's the way it is. I mean, he just gave you the news.

Exactly. And so that's something I pray to God that someday we can go back to. But we are where we are. Thank God we're good people like you that get the other side out there. Thank goodness, in a way, is as detrimental and disturbing as social media can be.

It's the only option we have. People it reminds me of the original American Revolution, where people quietly and not so quietly, quite frankly, among themselves start telling the truth and getting the information out. We wouldn't hear about any of this. Just Just think. This is a good example.

I ran Huh. President Trump Campaign. Yep. That information that they hacked was then sent to at least three different Democrat operatives. Yep.

That's a real story. I mean, that's scary. Why would I ran it? And they won't even report it if it was vice versa. Oh my god, it would be off the charts.

You and I have talked about this. for hours if you add up all the conversations that we've had. And it is probably the conversations not I won't use I won't even say probably, it is the conversations that you and I have had over the years that I helped with Grace and the team to title today's program, The Most Important Election Since the Civil War.

Now I already know the answer to this, but I want you to expand on it. You agree with that, don't you? Oh, it is. It is the most important election since the Civil War, and we have had this conversation before. The nation's future is at stake.

This election, it's about all the issues and how we can spend more on our colleagues. And what we'll do is, we'll effort. There we go. You're back. We lost you for about five seconds.

You're good.

Okay.

So we could talk about all those issues, but we're not. But the ultimate issue at the end of the day. is are we going to continue to be public As we know it, will we have American exceptionalism? Will we be Chinese city? On the Hill, will we be the number one country in the world?

Do we believe in American exceptionalism? That's what this election is about, continuing the Republic. Ben Planck, you have a Republic if you can keep it. We're going to find out now. We're going to find out between the House, the Senate and the Executive Branch, the Presidency.

We're going to find out. I pray every single day about it. And I know there's many, many others and all as well. I created how this works out. There's two rows here.

One of them is that we literally save the country and continue to have a diversity of opinion and exchange of ideas and freedom. The other one is that we're essentially going towards our page. And if you want to read about it, eighty four to a total weed animal farm And you'll read those books and you'll think to yourself, My God, this is what we're going through. Oh, it's true. It is.

Well, thank you for your support. I say the same right back to you. Congressman Jeff Andrew, we are being inundated. I was telling the great listeners of the Todd Starn Show right before you arrived that I know this game. This game is where they typically oversample Democrats, which means they're undersampling Republicans.

They poll unlikely voters, and then they tell you your guy's losing and can't win, so you may as well just stay home and not vote. All that's true, except for the last sentence. But that's invariably what they are saying. They're dispiriting people to make it seem like their guy can't win. I just remember 2016, 2020 with allegedly Hillary Clinton up by nine points in the national poll, which doesn't matter, as you know, the popular vote, it's the Electoral College.

And this time in 2020, Biden was allegedly up by seven and a half points. And a half points.

Well, it didn't go that way. It never goes that way. Trump always overperforms the polling. But what I'm getting at is. Harris, and there's a new CNN poll out.

Even nationally, it's basically tie. It's like 49.48. They're saying Harris. You've got Rasmussen, Trump, 49.47. New York Times, Sienna, 49.48, Trump.

So, and NBC, no surprise, CBS, they have a wider national margin for Harris, but they have Trump winning in the battleground states. Trump is overperforming, very rare, and it's almost unprecedented. There's only one other person, I think, that's ever run. A third time like this, non-consecutive, on you know, on top of that.

So, what would be when Trump wins, just like the one and only other time that it happened. Trump, I guess you could say one of two ways, and both are true. Trump is overperforming. than he did in twenty sixteen and twenty twenty. But Harris is clearly underperforming in these Democrat polls, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.

And I'm not making that up, Congressman. These are the numbers. Absolutely.

So, first of all, And what they think by doing this is that you're going to remove the spirit and energy of people that really want to keep our country, and they're wrong. Because frankly, they're doing us a favor when they do that, because it makes us even feel the sense of urgency more, want to vote even more, to vote early more, to work harder.

So I think they're making a mistake when they do that, number one. Number two, He always underperforms in the polls, and he is doing better now than he did in twenty sixteen when he won and in twenty twenty when it was so close. Correct. Performing better in these polls than he ever has done in polls.

So I think that combination really bodes well for us. But I'll say everybody who's listening out there, do you not sit down on your backside and relax and say, oh, we got this thing. And that's the favor they do for us by pointing out that it's close and it's tight. Get out there, get your neighbors, your friends, your family, the fellow down the street that's working double time and is just so exhausted, God help him because of what this country done to him. He just doesn't have the energy to go and vote.

You got to take him to the polls. You got to vote. You got to vote early if you can. It is important. In person, not by mail.

in person, voting on the machine when you can, but in person voting, Oh yeah. It helps us a lot. I speak to the President about this all the time. He knows it because on Election Day, we have 14 hours. to get out the vote.

And if we're wasting time calling people who already voted that day and being redundant, we don't get the job done right, we don't get everybody. If people vote early, then we can just focus like a laser on those folks that we need to get out and that for some reason haven't voted yet. They didn't vote early. It helps us a lot. It's one of the ways the Democrats win.

You've got to be smart, and you can do it in person. I don't mean dropping it off at a Dropbox because Republicans don't like that. Vote early, in person. It helps whatever state you're in. Congressman, final minute.

Do you think Republicans nationally have fixed this dilemma? Of Democrats so overperforming in the early voting, the early voting, the vote by mail, the ballot harvesting, all these things that they do. Have Republicans fixed that? Florida did. As you know, Southern New Jersey did.

Actually, Republicans won early voting. Has this been fixed? Because if it has been fixed, we're going to win.

Well, it's certainly going to be better. I'm cautious about using the word fixed. It d varies from state to state and even municipalities.

So, do I think you're still going to have, quite frankly, issues in some of these urban areas, whether it's in the state of New Jersey, people places like Newark and Jersey City, Atlantic City, those areas are different. They're going to be tougher. But in general, We have had a scene change, a mindset change with Republicans. They get it. We've been working hard on it.

Yeah. That they realize that it's important to vote early in person. They don't have to vote by mail. Here's the deal. Republicans love to vote on election day.

I do too. Yeah. The tradition of it. Bottom line is, You know, we've got to change our ways. I vote early in person for now on.

It's very convenient. No longer. We're going to do it, my wife and I. We're doing the same. Yes, and it's showing that it is happening, and we're certainly going to do definitely going to do better in the early voting in person.

So we're learning. We're a little slow to pick it up, but we're getting there, and I think it's going to make a difference on Election Day. Congressman Jeff Andrew, you're a great American. Honored to present you today on the Todd Starring Show. Thank you.

And this is a CNN, and I don't remember what SSRS. A lot of them, and it makes sense. Polls are expensive. And so you have universities that partner with networks and newspapers that partner with other, like you'll hear this one, they're partnering with that company.

So, see, like, for example, New York Times, Sienna University, or college. This is CNN S S R S. And it's just out. I don't have the tabulars, so there's not a lot that I can give you on it, but I will tell you something that raises my eyebrow about it. Look, the fact that it's Harris 48, Trump 47, it's plus minus 3%, so that's a tie.

That's unremarkable to me. And again, if Trump is right there, either winning by a couple of points or behind by a couple of points in the popular vote national survey, this is great news. For Trump, Trump. Trust me on this. I don't spin.

It's the truth. Trump was not performing nationally at this level. Against either Hillary or Biden. And again, I believe a lot of those polls were also. misleading, but this is interesting.

Again, I don't have the tabulars, but I have the few words that they put out about this. They say it's likely voters, but then they say the poll is of 2,074 registered voters.

So I don't know that it's likely voters at all, but I do know this. Nick Solheim, co-founder of the American Moment and a columnist at the Blaze, joins us next on the Todd Starn Show. Nick, great to welcome you to Todd's program. Hey, thank you for having me on. It is a pleasure. I love this piece that you did. Don't let the left memory hull the attempts on Trump's life, because that's exactly what they're trying to do.

Could you imagine? I wouldn't even want to even think this way, but if this happened to the other team that plays in this amazing game known as electoral politics, can you imagine the earned media, the free media, the unbelievable over-the-top coverage there would be? I mean, they want, I really believe this. Nick, had there not been the second assassination attempt, they were doing everything they could to pretend that that a the a former President and who's going to be a future President got shot and they want everybody to forget he got shot. Yes, I couldn't agree with you more.

And of course, if the roles were reversed, I don't think this would be a problem at all. I mean, as a reminder, the Republican Party is the party of law and order in America.

So I very much think. You're right. It wouldn't you don't have to think of it happening the other way because it wouldn't happen the other way. Exactly. Exactly.

I mean, like to remind your listeners, you know, that the party of gun rights has attempted zero assassinations on Kamal Harris, and the party of gun restrictions has now committed two on President Donald Trump. But look, I think that it's pretty fair to say that the left Takes a large part of the blame for these assassination attempts over the last three months. We've seen ten years of the most. Absolutely insane, unhinged rhetoric surrounding Donald Trump. Um labeling him as a and his supporters uh of the American people as uh Nazis, as Nazi sympathizers, and Donald Trump himself as Hitler.

I mean, just a few weeks ago. Threat to democracy. Yes, exactly. A few weeks ago, the New Public, their cover story is Donald Trump with a Hitler mustache. I mean these people have learned no lessons During Trump's ten years in the spotlight.

Nick, how about this one? They're actually blaming Trump. This Democrat media is blaming Trump for getting shot. I know, I know, yeah, it's It's absolutely insane. Uh and and and you know, look, at at the end of the day, like If you spend 10 years talking about how Donald Trump is Hitler, Somebody is going to want to be Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

Somebody's gonna wanna take the shot. And now we have, and I'm honestly surprised that it's taken this long. And now we have two credible attempts on his life in the last three months. And I wouldn't be surprised if we saw another before the election. Yeah, I am on the same page as you, regretfully, because I wish I were not, but I am.

And I've said for this whole period of time, they're going to get President Trump shot or killed. I don't want to be right, but you can't say these things and not trigger someone. I'm also wondering, why did the FBI release that handwritten letter? I don't speak the names of these shooters. I know this guy's name.

It's spelled differently, but it's pronounced like a great Bambino, if you know what I'm talking about, a great left-handed home run hitter. It might be number three.

So I don't say the person's name, but we all know who I'm talking about now. This guy wrote this crazy manifesto. I have failed you, and if somebody else can succeed, I will pay you. $150,000. I want to know how this guy.

He had $69 in the bank, they say. Has he fly to Ukraine? He's all over the place. He's got six phones. I have one, and I have a job.

This guy's got six phones and $69. I mean, come on. I mean, the bill on each one of them is at least $30 a month. He's got $69 to pay for six phones.

So, what's up with all this? It's crazy. But they put that letter out there, and I almost think that activates people. to what like what if somebody thinks they're going to get $150,000? Yeah.

Yeah, I don't want to be I don't want to cast blame exactly until we find out more information about why this is re was released. And I think You know, certainly Republicans in Congress should do some due diligence about this and fall in. people responsible for making this decision to to find out how. But look, there's no one in Washington DC more afraid of Donald Trump than the Deep State, than the people that work in these agencies and that work at the highest levels of the federal government. That are unelected, that are not chosen by the President once he is duly elected.

And they are terrified of him, and they are terrified of him returning to Washington. And I think what's notable about this most recent attempt, and I totally agree with you that we should not legitimize these phrased individuals by giving them all their names in the media. But I think what's notable about it is. If this guy was fought with a GoPro, He was planning on either streaming or recording and releasing later what he wanted to be a successful assassination. And that just goes to show that, you know, regardless of whether or not he were apprehended and put in federal prison, God willing, for the rest of his life.

Um He knew he would be heralded as a hero. As a hero of American democracy for taking down the He thinks as America's Hitler, Donald Trump. Isn't that just, oh, it's disgusting, but true. Absolutely.

Well, it's a pleasure. Are you out of time? No, I'm not. Good, good. I want to make sure the way you said that, I thought maybe you had to jump real quick.

No, we've got about another eight minutes if you're good. Let me ask you further about the switcheroo. That took place where magically, remember, and I know you know, but I just want to refresh everybody's memory because it's like it's almost like a soap opera. It's almost like the movie Tootsie, where Dustin Hoffman is, you know, a male, and then he's also Emerly Kimmerley, and then he says, I'm Edward Kimmerly. I mean, it's like a soap opera.

They're just switching the players. They tell us that nobody's sharper than Joe Biden. Kamala Harris said it. I'm with him. Nobody's sharper.

His spokesperson, Corrine Jean-Pierre. We can't keep up with him. You don't see it. I love the way the best of him was always behind the scenes. We never saw the best in front of the camera.

We can't keep up with him. You won't believe the energy and all this. He said it would take an act. God would have to appear for him not to be the nominee. I guess there was a sighting because hocus pocus, he's gone.

And they do this switcheroo and They're pretending like this is normal. Yeah. Yeah, what's obvious from this entire debacle is that. From top to bottom, the Biden administration is full of absolute liars. Um I mean you anyone has watched President Biden, who once upon a time was a decent public speaker and could hold his own in some of these committee hearings and that sort of thing.

It was obvious to anybody watching in America, even people that aren't keeping up with politics, that the President of the United States, the guy responsible for all of these nuclear weapons, is not Totally there. And not even totally there just some of the time, like ninety percent of the time. And so while President Biden does have some loyal hands and aides around him who have sort of ascended the power ladder on Washington due to his influence, there are people that selfishly want to continue this elder abuse. And wanted him to keep running. But at the end of the day, the Democratic establishment, as soon as they saw how bad some of these poll numbers were, particularly in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, et cetera, because people don't want to vote for a vegetable to be President of the United States.

Um they made a hot fix. June 27th, the debate. That was it. Had Trump not been shot, Biden would have been out in a week. Trump got shot, so it took two weeks.

That was the end because everybody saw they could no longer make those statements about how sharp he is and nobody is sharper and all this crazy stuff.

So then we get the VP who's at 37%, really unpopular, most unpopular vice president in history, even more unpopular than Joe Biden, who was at 38% at the time. And then she got not a single delegate, not a single vote. And then they go do the switcheroo like it's normal and pretend now that this is the The cure. This is the new change that we have been waiting for is the problem that we've had for the last four years, and it is madness. Yeah, I I I think there's It's some interesting Excuse me, some interesting points to be made, too.

About, you know, I've seen some people saying, like, oh, was Kamala Harris this entire administration, you know. Pulling the strings behind the scenes. And, you know, despite the fact that the President of the United States, again, is like. very verbally incoherent and does not seem to be capable of making decisions Um it doesn't strike me that Kamala Harris is particularly that smart either. And so really the dynamic here that I want to point to, and this is Particularly important because of the work that we do at American Moment identifying, educating, and credentialing the next generation of conservative staff.

is that all of this is driven by this You know, very Ivy League, elite, educated people who have never had any sort of real career outside of finding this. This social ladder in Washington. And so, all these dynamics about not only high gas prices, the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan, and so on, but also a lot of this, like, Party body slam that's going on behind the scenes is driven by these unelected people who don't care about you. They don't even really care about their party that much. They just want to be in charge.

They're power hungry elites. That's right. And so, you know, that's it. And they want to keep that. And that's why they would keep Biden if they could.

They love having a president who really isn't the president. They had more power than anyone has ever had, probably in history, because Joe Biden was not present. I mean, look what we got for that, Nick. We got, as you mentioned, Afghanistan. That never happens if Biden he didn't listen to the generals.

Then he lied and said he did. And then they had to come out and say no, he didn't listen to us. I mean, it's unbelie and we still have Americans there now. And then he said no Americans died. They still haven't talked to the families of the 13 that did.

They treat them like they didn't die. Then, of course, we know Putin saw weakness, so he then invades Ukraine. That never would have happened had Trump continued. And then we know Iran and all the other bad actors: Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis.

Now, you would have never had Hamas. Do the terrorist attack they did on Israel if Biden didn't display that he created a vacuum, and that vacuum was filled by very bad people. Yeah. Yes, you're exactly right. And going back to what you're saying about.

Um you know, these these people at the helm in the White House right now having uh more power than they've ever had in American history. This is why they are so afraid of Donald Trump. Because they know that he does not care about how much experience they have in DC or Don't care about who they know or the donors they know or whatever. They know that day one of a Trump bands administration, they're gone. They're gone and they're totally shut out of the process, and they don't have the ability to ruin this country anymore.

And the point that you're making, too. about foreign policy. I mean, this is one of the core things that President Trump You know, started running on in 2015, and he was a peacetime president. I mean, we had the Abraham Accords, which was one of the greatest pieces of diplomacy that America has ever brokered. And I think a lot of what he gets blind for this in the media, but I think what he says is true.

Not even day one of his administration, but after he gets elected. on November 5th. He is going to immediately start working to bring an end to the conflict in Russia and Ukraine, which is By the way, as you know, Nick, w we've got to go in about thirty seconds, but actually President Trump has said he will get on that after he is elected. He won't even wait for january twentieth. Like you just said, he gets on that as President-elect.

Okay.

2024 campaign executive director, veterans for Trump. Sergeant, welcome to Tot Starn Show. Thank you for your service, too. Hey, good afternoon. It's such a pleasure to join you, and I'm so excited to talk about anything Trump, like it's just like gets my blood going.

I get excited.

Well, I haven't said this today. I'm not holding back. I haven't said this yet today, but I know how much you care about the President. Before I became a radio broadcaster, I had a great career with President Trump. I interviewed with President Trump.

He hired me. I had a very important position under his direction, and we have had a friendship ever since that now stretches beyond 35 years.

So I care for him as well. And I do want to let the listeners of Todd Starnes know that I'm a former employee. I'm a former executive of President Trump. And so we hold that in common, Gunnery Sargent. And I want to start with the vice presidential debate because I believe that J.D.

Vance. Is battle-tested. He is uniquely suited, I think, to clean up. Tim Walls in the vice presidential debate next week. He's had all these confrontations with the Democrats in the media that come after him so hard and smooch Walls and Kamala Harris.

J.D. Vance has to go into the lion's den and then he comes out after eating the lion. I like J.D. Vance's chances in this debate. What are your thoughts, Sergeant?

Yeah, I would dare to say yes, because I don't think that they can set this up the way they did so deliberately like ABC did. That's right. ABC was so flagrantly obvious that they were criticizing President Trump and putting him in defense, and it was pretty much miraculous that he just didn't lose his cool because it was very frustrating in his position. You can tell yourself all day long, I'm going to keep my cool, I'm going to keep my cool, but when you've got actually the moderators that now are participating in the attacks and not correcting your opponent, your frustration level grows.

However, in the case of J.D. Vance, What also makes him unique is that he actually was a combatant correspondent. And when he actually returned stateside and he had served, I believe it was somewhere on the East Coast, and I'm not quite sure. I have to look up the command, he said that he got very accustomed to having microphones shoved into his face.

So with that, he had to learn how to manage Hostile interviews, hostile confrontation, and how to basically articulate himself while staying calm and not allowing himself to get into a defensive posture. Tim Waltz has not had to have that. Governor Waltz has really been pretty much protected by the media to this point. Assuming this debate is remotely fair, let's say, you know, halfway fair, where it was completely unfair with ABC, J.D. Ramsey is going to come out as stellar because he will be able to flip the narrative very quickly on the moderators if they are being inappropriate and essentially call them out.

He has that ability of saying, so why are you more upset about the cat and dog memes instead of being upset about the women and children that are actually being raped and murdered by illegal immigration? That is the bigger issue, but you all won't talk about it until we put out the cat and dog meme. Once we put that out and you wanted to fact check it, we dare to ask you, well, why aren't you fact-checking the horrific numbers that are falling under the Harris Biden administration? He was masterful with that, telling them you're going to criticize something that's so innocuous as these memes, but you're not criticizing the reality, which tells us that you're ignoring the reality of illegal immigration and the impact it's had upon American citizens.

So I do agree with you. You 150% that he has a capability of pivoting in a direction that demonstrates how the media has its flagrant bias. And Waltz has never been challenged.

So I'm looking forward to seeing J.D. Vance make his passive aggressive: I did not elaborate or try to imply that I served in combat. I did not elaborate and try to suggest I was a higher rank in which I actually left my military service. He can say simply things like that and put Tim Waltz very quickly for his stolen valor allegations out there. And then, of course, you know, telling children that they should be parents, that they will lose custody of their children if they even do not endorse gender-affirming care for a child under the age of 18, or allowing the five children, I believe it's five babies we've heard about, in Minnesota that actually did die of were botched abortions, abortions, who were born alive and they were left on tables to die.

And let and let and let Minnesota. Mm-hmm. Gunnery Sergeant, let Minnesota burn during the summer of love. Absolutely.

I know J.D. Vance is going to bring that up. And you know what I could see happening? I could see the better that J.D. Vance does, the more the moderators are going to have to cheat.

And when it gets so obvious that it's self-evident, J.D. Vance is going to say, America, this is what they did with President Trump a few weeks ago. This is what they're doing here tonight. Just note how this is handled. And I could see him calling them out.

Big time before America. I can just see it. I can see it happening. I did read recently, and I don't know how accurate the story is that I read, but that the viewership for these debates has dropped massively compared to just, let's say, thirty years ago when you had three mainstream media channels, ABC, NBC, CBS.

Now we have all these multiple cable news networks, and people don't necessarily, unless they're wonk. which I fall into that category of political wonk. They already have made their decisions who are watching this, and they are rooting for their guy or their gal, and they are looking for holes in the opponent.

So how much these debates shift anybody is probably left to be seen.

However, It hurts you if you fail.

So J.D. Vance will not lose support unless he were to go in there and just lay a goose egg, and then everybody has to scratch their heads and say, well, gee, well, why am I backing him? And incidentally, that's how we know that President Trump did not fail in his debate with Harris because Harris made no improvement after the debate. And let me even give you a more stunning reality of what actually happened because. When they try to say she won the debate.

Pre-debate Harris led Arizona by five points. Post-debate, Trump leads by five points. Georgia. You have Trump Plus four. And he was about that before the debate.

No change there. North Carolina, Harris was plus two. Trump is now plus three. Harris got no bump because the Democrat media says she won, but she really didn't. And most people realize: you know, when she was asked, are you better off America now than you were four years ago?

And when her answer was, so. I was raised in a middle-class family. Middle-class family. Here we go.

Okay.

She wasn't. She was raised among academics. She was in Palo Alto, lived in Berkeley, and lived in Canada. In a big neighborhood. There's no doubt about it.

So here's another thing that I think we might find agreement. And those just joining us, it's Gunnery Sergeant Jesse Jane Duff, 2024 Campaign Executive Director, Veterans for Trump. And the Gunnery Sergeant is appearing on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker hotline of the Todd Starn show. Fox News just reported that in the battleground states, They are paying. And you know the Battleground states.

There's about seven of them from Georgia, all of them.

So they're paying $1,000 more every month for the same goods that they used to pay $1,000 less when President Trump was president. And that's one of them. They're all several are paying $1,000 more, twelve thousand a year. That's what people are going to vote.

Well, one thing for those that are worried because they feel that these polls are too tight, I would comment to them. you have to always remember that Trump trailed in all of the battleground states in twenty sixteen and in twenty twenty. Yes, ma'am.

So it's he always trailed, two points, three points, always neck and neck.

Well, not always neck and neck. In Wisconsin, he was trailing, they said, by 14, and he lost by like 20,000 votes.

Okay, but my point was browns by two or three. And now he's ahead two or three. That's an asterisk. Astronomical leap. in politics.

You now got a six-point gain from your 2020 numbers and your 2016 numbers. That's how we know. There's also a belief I sincerely have. That there are too many people that work in jobs where they still are too afraid to say to anybody over the phone that they're going to vote for President Trump because the left has. Been so detrimental on people's careers.

They know that the Department of Justice has pursued people that have supported Trump. They know this, and I don't know that your polling numbers, no matter what the enthusiasm is, are ever going to be accurate for President Trump because you don't know who is calling you asking that question. And you always have to wonder: is this somebody that's going to go back to my PTA? Is this going to be somebody that's going to report me to my neighborhood?

So, how are you? I mean, unless you're surveying in Oklahoma, which is deep red. Or Texas, which is deep red, and you're not. They're serving in battleground states that are proprietal or lean blue. And those folks, I have a coalition.

There you go. That's right. So that's why, Gunnar Reesargent, we know Trump always overperforms versus his polling, which means if he's even close, he's winning. Yeah. Yes.

And, you know, there's what happened in Pennsylvania for the audacity of the Harris campaign. Brings Zelensky over from the Ukraine to sign bombs that are going to get dropped on Russia. Who do they think is? Supporting more money going to the Ukrainian-Russian war. Even a Democrat knows that this is now becoming another endless war.

The only people that they're going to coddle to are those that are producing those weapons in Pennsylvania who want job security. And now we're going right back to the establishment class that has profited off of the American taxpayer for decades. That is not the majority of your Pennsylvanians. Hey, hey, Gunnery Sergeant, remember when the script was opposite? It was flipped.

George W. Bush was a warmonger. Democrats hated wars.

Now look at them.

Well, look, they're proud that they got an endorsement from Dick Cheney. I never thought I'd see the day of that. Kamala Harris does not have a win that she thinks she has. With the seven hundred plus Intel and DOD officials, when you run through that list, you see that all of them are people that either were on the Hunter Biden laptop conspiracy saying that it was Russian dispar information. You have actually wives Wives that are listed on that, spouses.

You have people that are essentially profiting off of the defense industry still to this day, which now Let's say 10 years ago, that would have been a list to be an honor to have that endorsement. Today, now that we know how corrupt they are, how they profit off of this, and then she brags about getting the IRS endorsement. Lady, read the room. I know. Isn't that amazing?

Read IRS endorsement. Because the new 87,000 IRS agents that are going to be auditing middle-class Americans. Read the room, lady. Taxes are killing people. And you got no kidding.

They know that they got empowered with keeping their eight, you know, the excessive, what, 300-plus agents that have been hired? They know they got job security. All of those Intel DOD people know now that they have job security to spy on Americans and endorse Hunter Biden laptop conspiracies and support the wars in Ukraine. These are not wins for your campaign. You're not.

And the Dick Cheney endorsement, my goodness.

Well, that's a special one, though. Dick Cheney agrees with Trump on almost everything.

So does Liz Cheney. That was because Trump vanquished Liz Cheney. It's personal. Exactly. I give.

I give President Bush credit. He's not coming out for Trump. Trump really, you know, as you know, just destroyed his brother, retired his brother. But President George W. Bush didn't come out and do what these other fools did.

And Georgia is one of those states Where If you learn that President Trump has won the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, if you learn that President Trump has won Georgia, And some of these other battleground states that he is poised right now.

I believe out of the seven President Trump will win at least five, I want to say six. I feel really comfortable that it will even be six, and don't even rule out. Because there is something about these battleground states that, even when they are remarkably close, You know, folks don't think about this often, and it's not your job to. But it's what I do for a living. In twenty sixteen, If about fifty or sixty thousand votes had flipped in a handful of states, it would be Hillary Clinton would have been the President.

In 2020, if about 40,000 votes had flipped, In two or three states, President Trump would have won a second consecutive term.

Now he's going to win two non-consecutive terms, which I think is just fine. He's going to fix the mess that Biden and Harris created. Created. They inherited no inflation, a world that was peaceful, Iran was broke as a joke and on its knees. For whatever reason, Obama Biden did it, and now Biden-Harris did it.

They think it's great. To give Iran billions of dollars when they are the world's largest sponsor of terrorism.

If you want to jump in, 901-260-5926, and we will get you on air. This is no surprise to me. It was no surprise at all to President Trump. Kamala Harris will be skipping the Al Smith dinner. If you don't know about this dinner, It is It's such a traditional event.

Especially every four years. When Each of the two major party presidential candidates roast each other. This is, I think, very telling. of the character of Kamala Harris, who is trying. To Run a stealth campaign.

I call it really like the Joe Biden basement campaign 2.0. But there's no pandemic that you can blame.

So we are talking like going on three months, no interviews. Everything's off the teleprompter. The couple of times she says something impromptu, it's disastrous, like with Oprah Winfrey. And if somebody comes into my house, they're going to get shot. And all these things, these goofy things that she says that just nobody believes.

Nobody believes any of it. President Trump, not surprised at all. He said on his Truth Social in a post yesterday: quote, It will be an honor. to attend the dinner. The dinner is set for october seventeenth.

in New York at the Hilton midtown, Harris, and again, she never ever says anything. You always have to get it. Trump, you always hear from. He directly comments on this. Harris?

Not so much. It's always a campaign person said this, or some other shadowy thing said it. She never says it. But the Harris campaign did say. She won't be there.

This is 79 annual Al Smith charity dinners that once every four years, it's always special, but it becomes supercharged, super special. When you have either the President of the United States or the two candidates, major candidates for President of the United States, obviously, if Joe Biden didn't fall victim to the coup. He would be speaking. That would have been something, watching al uh Joe Biden Roast Trump and vice versa. You might not remember this, but I thought it was absolutely hysterical.

And I'm going back to twenty sixteen. Hillary Clinton was a good sport. She did a good job. Trump was hilariously funny. And Trump at one point said Something like Well, you know, I Hillary bumped into me, and he said where, but I don't remember every little nuance of it.

But Hillary bumped into me, and then she said, Pardon me, please.

Well, she lost it. The entire auth because obviously. Uh subpoenaed iPhones and laptop computers and all these things had bleach bit taken to them and pickaxes and all this destruction of evidence and the the toilet server that they had in the bathroom and all these documents that were supposed to be turned over.

So what a hilarious Joke that was. and to her credit I mean she burst it out. Laughing hysterically. This would have been great. Trump Rose Harris Harris.

Harris roasts Trump. And I'm going to tell you this. She's running a scripted campaign. There's got to be more to this because they could have loaded a teleprompter for her. with absolute great jokes.

This would have been this is a blessing. That she's not going. Cardinal Dolan, who I love. Cardinal Dolan said today. I'm disappointed.

that Vice President Harris won't be be with us. He said it hasn't happened in forty years. The last time it happened was Walter Mondale, who lost forty nine out of fifty states. Then he went on to say, I'm not saying anything, but he did. It was tremendous.

I think there's going to be a lot of pressure brought to bear. And Dolan, Cardinal Dolan, is going to bring it. I mean, I understand that a lot of people are going to be approached like Chuck Schumer and others. To try to convince Harris that this is something that you should be at. The problem now is, though.

You can reverse course, and you can say you're going. But Now it looks like You're weak and you have to go. I really believe that if you want to be the President of the United States, There are certain obligatory things that you just have to do.

Now, I don't want to believe the absolute worse. But I can't discount. that what I'm about to say is at least possible. if not plausible. and it is this This event benefits Catholic charities.

I don't think Harrison summoned the Democrats even. Don't have such a great Rapport right now. And maybe they think She would be walking into some kind of adverse atmosphere, but this is what I know. I know a lot of the people that go to that event every year. I'm not saying best pals or anything, but I know these people.

Many of them I've interviewed and, you know, and and I've even met. And There would have been nothing but respect. This this this was, in my estimation, no risk. No risk at all. And if you want to say Minimal risk, the reward, the upside.

I think could have been tremendous. I think she would have had Ton of money to buy anything you want. by great jokes, Hire a really funny comedian And can you imagine And he knows, and he takes it well, He doesn't get credit for taking it well. But Trump can be made fun of. He's got a long track record of stuff.

It's a big mistake. But I wouldn't complain. Because She's actually doing Trump a favor. Because he will be there. And it will be the 800-pound elephant in the room will be Harris.

is a willful Purposeful No show. I think it's a huge deal. And remember. This event, I know the Democrat media is in the tank for Harris, but this event. is going to generate A lot of coverage after the fact.

More people, in fact, I would say, are going to see it after the fact. then we'll see it the night that it's on. And I don't even know what channels it'll be on. C SPAN and maybe maybe a cable channel will cover it or cover parts of it. But just imagine when Trump takes the ribbing And then He gets his time.

Do you remember in the past when George W. Bush, for example, was fabulous. Bill Clinton Hillary Clinton They were great. I wish we could get back. We're look, if we're members of different parties, by definition were opponents.

But it doesn't I I I long ago Broadcast it for three straight days. From the U.S. Capitol building. And I had the opportunity to watch how the Republicans and Democrats. fought like cats and dogs.

During the day, And then they would They would dine together. at night. Fast friends. Years ago, Utah's Orin Hatch Republican. Very conservative.

Great guy, by the way. And Ted Kennedy. Very close. You just didn't have this. When I did the um My show from the Capitol.

John Boehner was the speaker. And you should have saw the way. The Boehner and all the Republicans and all the Democrats in the Capitol dining room. which I had the opportunity to have a little hang time in. It was incredible.

I I hear it's horrible now. It's just they don't even they don't even do any of that anymore. I I know there are some that still cross over the aisle and have personal friendships and things, but it has become so incredibly overheated and partisan and ugly That it's a shame. It's a shame to see. The thing I don't know When you cross the Rubicon, Can you really ever go back?

You know how they say you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube? Squish it out, it's gone. You can't put the tooth toothpaste back in to the tube. I think unfortunately I think That ship has sailed There is no, unless we had a really big turnover. And hundreds of House members.

And half or more of the Senate If the American people ever sent Just a wave change election where enough. of how you're doing this. They need Discourse is toxic. that maybe You know, there's always a chance. Who was it?

Dumb and Dumber? Jim Carrey? You mean you mean I have a chance. Or whoever it was. Will Farrell, whoever no, actually it was, uh Oh gosh, I can see him.

Funny funny movie. And it draws a Sort of a silly comparison, though. There's always a chance. In boxing, a fighter. that even an older fighter that wants to fight one more time Getting tuned up, cleaned up during the fight, and has that punch.

The last thing to go. Is that punch, the fighter's punch. That's why they always say you have a fighter's chance. But the way this is going now? It's bad.
