And hello. America, welcome to the Todd Starge Radio Program. Happy Halloween, happy Reformation Day, happy fall festival. Whatever you celebrate, we're trying to celebrate with you today. Wow, we have a great program for you and.

I want to start off with a story that I briefly mentioned yesterday, and folks really got riled up about this. And it's sort of a weird, non-political story. But you know what? Today is sort of a weird, non-political, political day. And we've got a lot happening up on Capitol Hill, and we're going to get to all of that momentarily.

But there is a restaurant in the beautiful town of Tocoa, Georgia, and I have actually eaten at this restaurant, and it's really good. I mean, it's a great restaurant. good people, a family owned establishment called the Tocoa Riverside Restaurant. And the they've got a slogan here. They say that it's the home of Mountain Time Seating.

And in other words, it's just a good family restaurant.

So, anyway, there apparently is a big controversy because this restaurant, and I'm a little, if you've been to a restaurant, you know what happens. You've got, well, if you're at a red lobster, probably somebody's going to get into a fist fight.

Somebody's going to be throwing the cheddar biscuits. It seems like the only place where people are actually well-behaved would be a Chick-fil-A or an In-N-Out burger joint. I will throw in biscuit fill for you good folks in North Carolina. Otherwise, it's sort of like mixed martial arts. I mean, you walk in there and it's not like you're walking into the dining room.

It's like the octagon or the squared circle. For you wrestling fans out there. And it's chaos, and especially with the children. And you know, you've been there where you're trying to have a lovely romantic evening at the Olive Garden, and the waiter brings to you that big, huge, do they still bring the tub of salad out and they keep filling it up with lettuce as the meal goes? Do they still do that?

I haven't been to Olive Garden in ages. But you're sitting there trying to have a romantic dinner and maybe you're nibbling on a breadstick with your with your significant other. And all of a sudden, as it's getting romantic there at the Olive Garden, The home of authentic Italian cuisine, And all of a sudden y they're screaming, and the children are they're throwing spaghetti noodles and they're throwing the meatballs, and the mom and the dad are just sitting there and they're completely ignoring the fact that they have given birth to the spawn of Satan. And so, this restaurant apparently has come up with a solution to this problem. And some people really don't appreciate the solution.

So, the restaurant apparently, and this is the allegation, they charged a family $50 because their children were too loud.

Now, I don't know if this is true or not, but it's gone like viral. It's all over the place. Scripps, news, food and wine magazines, everybody's weighing in on this. But anyway, somebody said that the owner came out, Kyle Landman. He wrote this in a Google review, and he and his wife were on NBC's Today Show.

He says the owner came out and told me he was adding $50 to my bill because of my children's behavior.

Now he says his kids were well behaved. He and his wife said there were 11 children at the table. Is this like the Ducker family? Is this like a There were 11 children at the table, ranging in age from three to eight years old. The family was sharing a table with oh, here we go, with four other families at the so they're not Mormon and they're not the Duggars.

So these are like little normal size families. Anyway, Mr. Laman says the kids were sitting at one end of the table and they were being so good. I even commented halfway through the meal, I can't believe how well behaved they are. Are you buying any of this?

I think the kids were Hellions. Anyway, the owner came to the table and told the families they were being too loud. And one of the landmans, Mrs. Landman, said, Well, they were quiet the whole time. He got in our faces and told us we belonged at Burger King and not at his restaurant.

And so then they asked to speak to the owner, and the guy said, I am the owner. Oh, I like this guy. This has happened to me a couple of times.

So I looked around the restaurant, and everybody was frozen watching the show he was putting on. He was yelling.

So they're making it out to be like the restaurant people of the bad guy. Do you really think that went down that way? Do you really think it happened the way That the families are saying it happened, that just out of the blue, you've got all these little children, and they're all gathered around, and they're eating their meal, and they're working on their little tablets, and they're just perfect little saints, little angels. And all of a sudden, the big, bad, meanie owner comes over and out of the blue orders this massive group of people to leave his restaurant. Do you really think?

I don't think it happened that way. I think the kids We're being little hellions, and mommy and daddy probably had like earplugs in. Or maybe they're so tired of it that That they didn't want to pay any attention. They were finally just happening to be around other adults so they could commiserate on what it was like to, I don't know, sire the spawn of Satan. I'm just saying.

So now people are picking sides, and I am siding with the owner of this restaurant. I say good for you, sir. But here's my only caveat. Maybe instead of charging the fifty dollars, they should give a discount to all the people in the restaurant who had to put up with that nonsense. Because we've all been there, right?

We've all been at these restaurants and the kids are so they are not raising their kids right. And maybe that's the problem America is that moms and dads are not doing a very good job of raising their kids. I mean, when I was a little boy growing up in South Haven, Mississippi. Mm-hmm. at the beautiful in the beautiful state of Mississippi.

Crooked letter, crooked letter, hump that guy. I we were raised right.

Now every Sunday We would do one of two things. We would either go to. To my grandparents' home for a delicious roast beef. In Whitehaven which is right across the state line. or we would go to the Southland Mall.

And we would go to the Piccadilly. Because that's what Baptists do in the South. We would go to the Piccadilly. It was sort of like a cafeteria. And then they had the Morrisons.

So some of you went to a Morrisons, others of you maybe went to a Bob Evans, but we went to the Piccadilly. And we would push we would pass our or push our tray along and we would pick out what sort of jello we wanted or what sort of a roll. And I would always get the same thing. I just loved the fish almandine with the side of tartar sauce and some hush puppies. That was my jam at the Piccadilly back in the day.

And I sat there as a little child, and I ate my fish, and I ate my hush puppies, and I was behaved. because I knew that if I was not well behaved, my mom would not even do the courtesy of taking me to the car or to the bathroom. She would whap me outside the head right there in the middle of the restaurant. And it would have been well deserved. But that's the problem these days.

I just don't think, do you really think parents are raising their kids right? I mean, look, this is the problem. you you scream like a little banshee in the middle of a restaurant, and the next thing you know, you're running around town with a Glock in your hand, with your pants drooping down, so everybody can see your butt crack, and you're carjacking people. It's really not that big of a jump. I'm just saying, it's really not.

So all I'm telling moms and dads around the nation is this. There's nothing wrong with smacking your kid upside the head every now and again. And it just might, well, they got to do something wrong, but you just might save them from a life of crime. That's all I'm trying to say here. But is it too much to ask?

For when you go to a restaurant, That the kids, and by the way, you can't even go to a parent's now. Excuse me, ma'am, could you please tell your child to stop throwing meatballs into the hair of my girlfriend? And then the parents, how dare you? How dare you? My child has the right to throw meatballs wherever they want to.

Who do you think you are? You mega supporter. Because by and large, and I will say this. By and large, the most well-behaved kids in America actually have conservative parents. who are teaching their children right from wrong.

Yeah. On the liberal side, they're teaching the children that they are perpetual victims and everybody else is to blame.

So, I'm curious to get your thoughts on this. I told you it's kind of a weird opening to the show today, but people were really fired up about this. Do you think the owner of the restaurant did the right thing by surcharging parents who are unable to parent? 844-747-8868 is our number. That's 844-747-8868.

Let's go to Victor listening to us in the beautiful State of Maryland today. All right, Victor, what say you? Yeah. This is what I do when I encounter kids having a temper tantrum. Happened at the supermarket.

This kid was screwed. screaming, wanting candy, and the mother said no. I finally had enough and I said, Okay, I'm telling Santa Claus. Santa Claus, this little boy's not behaving himself. And um he would get very quiet.

And then I would say, you know, you never know who the real Santa Claus is because I I would point to some stranger and say, tomorrow he could be on the Santa Claus Patrol and look for naughty boys and girls like you. And around Christmas time he went You know what Santa Claus does? he gets people to dress up to look just like him, so you'll never know where the real one is.

So you've got to behave yourself at all times. And one mother said, yeah, and he also dresses up like the Easter bunny too around Easter time. Yeah, I like that, Victor, but I like whacking them upside the head a little bit better. It's more effective. You know, put the fear of God in them.

I was whacked a lot when I was growing up. I love it. All right, Victor, appreciate that call. Thank you for listening. Oh, so the owner has been talking to WSB TV.

That's the big TV station in Atlanta. By the way, do you know what WSB stands for? It's very clever. Welcome, South Brother. Isn't that that's great call letters.

Anyway, so the owner says, Yep, sure enough, we actually charge parents who have lousy kids. And the guy's name is Tim Richter. He didn't want to go on camera, but he said they started the surcharge a few years ago during the China virus outbreak. He said he never threatened to charge anyone until a couple of weeks ago when the family with nine kids showed up. He said the kids were running all over the restaurant.

You see, I believe the owner here, and I've been to this restaurant, good people, great food. He said he, oh, here we go. He said he never actually charged the family, he only gave them a warning. Quote, we want parents to be parents. You gotta respect that.

Let's go to Anna in Atlanta. Anna, what do you think about this restaurant? Um Good morning, Mr. Searns. Thank you, first of all, for taking my call.

I really appreciate it. Um I listen every day. Thank you. I listen online and I listen when I'm in town in Georgia. Um back home.

Um um It's interesting, uh, Mike I was I agree with you on the children running around the restaurants and the parents not doing what they're supposed to do. That's not quite proper society. I don't quite agree with your take on what you said about them becoming little thugs running around with guns, however, that but that was a tall leap for me. because I see I don't I see lots of children who run around restaurants, who don't become thugs. And their parents are quite conservative and wealthy and connected and misbehave when they're out in public.

So I I like the jump that you did. It was interesting. It made me kind of sad that you went there, but. I feel you on the restaurant. If you came to my restaurant, I would charge you for your little hellions running around as well.

Oh, yeah.

Well, look, I wouldn't tell you you belong to Burger King, however. I don't know any kind of, I mean, there's some well-behaved people at Burger King, love, you know, so I don't know where, and I've never been to that restaurant in Sokola. My family's from that area originally. It's quite country, so you know, I mean, just country simple folk, I guess. He just didn't, I don't know.

I would have liked to see the video. I would have liked somebody to show me, but if that's how he feels, he has the right to say that. That's his restaurant. But the grading statements, that's not cool. I don't know if there are any racial undertones or anything like that.

Are these little white children or black children? Oh, I have no earthly idea.

Okay, because you jumped to the thug with the pants and the guns.

Well, now Anna, Anna, I did not say thugs, but just because I say thugs, I call white people thugs and black people thugs. We're an equal opportunity offender here on the program. Yeah, I I hear I agree, but I do know what the picture comes in. That's a sub doesn't put my I may be racist to black men, but I don't see a white young man. When I hear thug, it don't make me go to little white young man.

Well, I don't think I use the word thug, but yeah, I have, to be honest, I have no earthly idea what color these people are. And I mean, with, you know, again, they've got 11 kids, so I don't know. I have no earthly idea. But Anne, appreciate the call. We got to skedaddle for a break.

Michelle says, there are so many parents my age in their 40s that don't spank their kids. My kids know better. If lightning could shoot out of my eyeballs when they misbehave, I believe it, Michelle. I believe it. Teresa says, Todd, I hate, I agree, I hate to go to dinner with brats.

Ron says, Parents be responsible for your kids. Say no, they are not your friends, and they will thank you down the road. All right, got to take a break. 844-747-8868. That's 844-747-8868.

All right, welcome back, everybody. Hope you're doing well. Let's go to the phones. Joe in Georgia. Joe, what do you think about what this restaurant owner did?

Well, I think there's a fine line between being a parent and having unruly kids. I think one of the things is, it's one thing if your kids are nine and ten years old and already in school and And need discipline, and they're learning how to you're teaching them how to be an adult. And then there's another thing when you have a two-year-old. or an eight-month-old like I do. I like taking my family out to eat and having a good time.

It's one of the things you get to do when you've been working hard all week, and it's a nice thing to do as a family. I would hate to know that my Two-year-old daughter had a little tantrum. And there's really, I mean, you can discipline, but you're not going to have a whole. whole lot of discipline to a two year old that's just learning that's fresh to the world. And I get fined fifty extra dollars after I've already left the big tip.

Uh Because my two-year-old had a tantrum. You know, I think there's a fine line between Discipline your child. And uh getting fine because someone doesn't understand what it's like being in a parent. Joe, I don't know how old you are, Joe, but I'm going to ask you a question because my mother would use a phrase when we were either going to. Going to dinner or going to church, she told us that we best behave or she would jerk a knot in us.

D did your mama ever say anything like that? Oh, hey, man, I I I grew up by the uh by the the Bible teacher spent rods full of the town, but There's only so much you can do when you have very young children. But when you've got a kid that is older, I would say five, six, seven, eight years old, that's the time to start. You know, hey, daddy, mama means business. You better start listening or your butt's going to get a whooping.

And, you know, we don't have that a whole lot in society today. No, we don't. But gotta run. Gotta run, Joe. Appreciate the call.

We're running late for it. Yes. You know, quite frankly, a lot of folks up on Capitol Hill need a good not jerked in them, too, if you know what I mean. Gotta take a break. Hang tight.

So, I was just going to say, as we watch these protesters, I thought this could go on for maybe a half an hour or so, but they're standing up on mask now, so they'll all get bounced very quickly.

So, here's what I don't understand. By the way, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Program.

So, you have all these pro-Hamas people. These are all terrorist sympathizers. And they were allowed into the building, staging an insurrection there in the Senate hearing room where the Secretary of State, Anthony Blinkenez. Why didn't they taser these people? Why why didn't they drag him out by their hair like they did the J Six people?

What what's going on here? They're just going to let him stand up there and scream and carry on. I mean, come on. Anyway, Blinken's asking for $14 billion in aid for Israel. Interesting note here, folks.

You got to love the House Speaker. He says, Yeah, we agree. We believe that they deserve that money, and we're going to offset that money by taking it away from the IRS. It's a brilliant move, and it's a great strategy. And it also puts Mitch McConnell on the hot seat because he's going to have to embrace the House plan here.

And if he doesn't, it's going to look really bad for Old Mitch. It's going to look bad for Senator Turtle. I'm just telling you, it's going to be really bad. All right, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Program, 844-747-8868 is our number. We got a couple more folks that wanted to weigh in on this crazy restaurant story out of Georgia.

So it's Blue Ridge, Georgia, and it's the Tocoa Riverside Restaurant. And they said, you know what, we've got a surcharge. If you're a lousy parent, we're going to slap you with a $50 surcharge. Let's go to John in North Carolina. Hi, John, what say you?

I taught it real easy. I went to poor folks down in Charleston, South Carolina, back when I was in the Navy. And the waitress there was so pleased with it Three kids I was with. that she bought them Ice cream counts. But the kid that was sitting on the table on the other side of us was one kid And he was kicking the Bar stool or the bench or whatever, the whole time we're there, and the father and mother says.

Jamie, stop that. Jamie, stop that. And we were so tired of it, we was getting ready to leave. And my friend and his wife were bikers. And these kids were the well best behaved kids The waitress ever seen and I think that's what.

Should do, yeah. I like to know there's a free ice cream cone at the end of the day or cake or a pie or a pudding or something. I got to correct you on one thing, John. It's the name of the restaurant. It's Poe folks.

Po folks. Can't say there's no R. Po folks. Yeah, my fault. But uh I I I enjoyed that one so much.

You know, I I I I took him out to eat that night because he was my roommate for years before I left the Navy. You know. I like it. Is that that Joe guy that talked earlier about nah, I don't care if the kid has the one little hitchy fit. But when he sits there the whole time being a brat or something, that's a totally different story.

They should have slap the parents with a $50 and tell them to clean up their restaurant. Here's the bromin mop and everything. I love it. John, appreciate that call. Thank you for listening.

I was on a subway once in New York City, heading into Fox, as a matter of fact, back in the day, sitting there, and there was some guy, and he was one of these uppercrusts. He was one of those guys that He was uh had the little pants he with they were rolled up around the ankles with the uh no socks with the uh shoes, and he had his kid there. And the little kid was I guess they were going to play golf or something because the kid had golf balls, and the kid was literally throwing golf balls at other passengers. On the subway.

So finally, I was sitting across from the the guy and um And I said, um, hey, hey, uh you want to borrow my belt? And the guy didn't appreciate the con. How dare you! Who do you think you are, you abuser? We don't spank our children.

That's what he said. We don't spank our children. I said, Yeah, no kidding. Yeah, no kidding, pal. All right, let's go to Joanne in beautiful Gainesville, Georgia.

Hi, Joanne. What say you? Hey, Todd. I've got a few things that I that I'd like to point out. First of all, the um The gentleman who called in and said, you know, occasionally those young kids have pissy fits or have a tantrum, you pick them up and take them outside.

You don't let them disturb everybody in the restaurant. You get them out there, calm them down, and come back in. Number one. Number two, I was raised with six other Siddleys. My parents Took us out every Sunday.

We would take drives on Sunday, go to church, take drives, and then go out to eat. We never had a problem. They they were parenting. These days, people don't parent like they should. Third thing, I'm a retired flight attendant.

I could go on and on about some of the things that I saw in the airplane, but I would like to say. Turn this around a little bit and say. The best parenting that I have responded the airplane, the most well behaved kids With military families. They were such a pleasure to have them on the plane. I always told them how much I appreciated them being so well behaved.

But you are right about that. And I remember a couple of years ago, we were on a flight with a mom, and the family was actually relocating.

So the husband was driving with some of the kids, and then she was flying with a couple of the younger kids. And those young, young children were so well-behaved on that flight. Other people were actually making comments about how well-behaved the kids were. Yeah, I it it never fails. You know, even if they weren't in uniform or d you know, didn't have the dad in uniform or mom in uniform or whatever.

I could look at them and see how the children behave and know that they were military families. And I've made the comment. Joanne, I will say this. You know, aside from the kids, the unruly kids in the restaurants, I think there's a much bigger issue with grown-ups and how they behave on those airplanes, to be honest with you. Yeah.

Well, thank goodness I retired 20 years ago. Oh, good for you. Yeah, you can't even imagine what they're doing. Trust me on this. All right, Joanne, God bless you, and thanks for the call.

Can we all agree we should all at least try to wear pants? If you're going to be on a flight, just wear pants. I know it's a low bar, but for some people, it may be a high bar, but just wear pants. All right, 844-747-8868 is our number. Before we go to break, our good buddy Paul Shanklin with this public service announcement.

Really? From the river to the sea, kill them all. Kill them all! You know, a few years ago, I was calling Republicans Nazis. But when I realized that I wanted to take away people's rights, control the media, and strong-arm business to do my bidding, I learned I had a lot more in common with the Nazis of the 1930s than I thought.

Then, after reading Mein Kampf for even more cool ideas, hating the Jews just sort of came naturally.

Now that the battle has begun against Israel, I'm ready to fight them from the river to the sea. Kill them all! Kill them all! See power. This message brought to you by Hamas, educating your little ones at university.

I told you we are a domestic extremist neo natalist. I told you. That's enough, Joe. Joe. I told you.

That's enough. Boom, boom. Nissan has a car for every driver who wants more. More action. More fun.

More guts. More head turns. More adventure. More electric. At Nissan, more is all we do.

All right, welcome back to the Top Stars Radio Show on this Halloween Reformation Day Fall Festival. Day. Did I get all the holidays? I hope I did. Anyway, it's also, we've got trivia.

Every hour of the show today, we're going to be giving away a copy of Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left from Killing a Nation, my most recent political book. And we're going to throw a trivia question out there for this hour. And here we go. This is a good one. What type of cat?

We're talking about the Adams family. What type of cat was Morticia's pet All right, let's try this one more time. Jeez, a loop. All right, Morticia had a cat. Named Kitty Cat.

What kind of a cat was Kitty Cat. If you know the answer. What kind of a cat was Kitty Cat on the Adams family? Give us a call 844-747-8868. That's 844-747-8868.

And we'll let you know, Jeez Lou. All right, this story. From ToddSterns.com. A school teacher in Mesa, Arizona. is now on leave uh this after the teacher dressed up like s like the devil and waved a pitchfork over students as they entered the classroom.

And over every child as the the teacher waved the waved the um the pitchfork, he chanted, Hail Satan. Nathanael Hamlet, a student in the class. He's a Christian. He told the teacher, Don't you wave that pitchfork over me Don't you say Hail Satan over me And the teacher who is openly um Homosexual, said, No, I'm going to do it, and did it three or four times. And so the kid did what what you're supposed to do.

He went home and told his parents. And uh the dad Is enraged. He said, My Christian son told him several times not to do it, even attempted to push the pitchfork away, but the teacher continued. and shoved the pitchfork in my son's face during class. The teacher also had an inappropriate conversation with my son and another student a few weeks back and called my son homophobic.

So now the school district has um. The school district has decided to investigate. As the parents said, you know, if you're going to ban Jesus. From the Mesa public school system, you probably need to be banning Satan as as well. Also, another Halloween story, and this is happening all over the place, where school districts are now banning Halloween.

So kids are being told they're not allowed to dress up. The kids are not allowed to bring candy. They're not allowed to have their cute little Halloween parades where you dress up as Snow White or a Power Ranger or Darth Vader. Several school districts in New Jersey have an outright ban, and they're saying they're doing this all because of inclusivity. One school district superintendent said all of us realize that this breaks with what the district has usually done, and that can be difficult.

But we have to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, a Democrat. Thought the decision was nuts. He says, Seriously, we can't let kids celebrate Halloween. Give me a break.

But it's part of a trend across the nation to appease minority religions and ethnicities that may not celebrate Halloween slash Reformation Day slash Fall Festival Day. And a lot of parents think it's bonkers. They don't understand. One guy says it's insulting. It smacks of a decision the administration knew was going to be unpopular.

They wonder what sort of a precedent it's going to Set? And that's a good question. May I just suggest, I'm not a big fan of boycotts or banning stuff, but I would not object to a federal ban on those pale orange Marshmallow circus peanuts that the kids give you no, I don't like those things. It's a trick, not a treat. All right, let's go to the phones here: 844-747-8860.

It is our number. But you're going to get a busy signal because we have full lines. Let's go to. Carrington in Beaufort, North Carolina. Hi, Carrington.

How are you? Good, buddy. How are you doing? I'm doing well. We're going to try to win you a prize here.

So, we're talking about the Adams family. Morticia had a. Cat named Kitty Cat. And we're wondering what sort of cat was Kitty Cat? I'd think it was a lion, wasn't it?

Yes, you are correct, Carrington. Yeah. All right. Wow.

Well done. I'm not sure where that came from. It was spontaneous. I'm not sure the spirit moved, but something did. Yeah.

All right, Carrington. Hey, congratulations. You just won yourself a copy of Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left from Killing a Nation. Gorth All right, we're going to put you on hold and we're going to get your address and we'll get all that information to you shortly. Folks, fear not, we have a lot more trivia coming your way in the next two hours of the show, so you're going to want to stick around.

Real quick, let's go to the phones. Chris in North Carolina. And Chris, I understand you're a first-time caller. I am a first time caller, so. I don't know exactly how the procedure goes on this, but let me Let me start by saying about the restaurant And I can say this real quick, my mother, if I would have been the kid doing that.

My mother would have taken me outside Jerk my door uh pants down to my knees and wore me out. Tot and Tot got me registered, now you quit cryin'. Get in there and sit down and act like somebody. Can't do that anymore. They'll take your kids from you.

I love what she said, though, act like somebody. I love that. Or or would be coming back out again. And you never wanted that to happen, Chris, right? You never wanted that to happen.

I hear these iffies. I I don't want my kids. to do right because they're scared. We did. We feared what would happen if we didn't do what we were told.

We knew what was going to happen. But listen, I don't know. Can I split one thing here just real quick? And I think you'll really find this interesting, and it's not on the This same topic. Real quick, Chris.

Okay, listen. Yesterday I called UNC Chapel Hill. I called up.

Well, at the Now, what's that other college? I called all of the colleges. in North Carolina and I asked him Are you do what procedures are you doing right now? To make s Sure. that your Jewish students R Chafe.

and have a safe place to come. And do you know the only college that's taken any steps With UNC Chapel Hill. Is that what I think, sir? In my opinion, Here's what needs to happen. All of these chancellors of these schools, all of these higher institutions of learning.

They need to come to Congress. And tell us. What procedures They are doing keep Jewish students safe. And if they don't want to do that, they lose their federal funding. Chris, I like the way you think, and I'm glad you did that.

And I would encourage all of you around the country to make those phone calls. And see what your local universities are doing to protect the Jewish students. Chris, that's a great idea. I want to put, Chris, we're going to put you on hold. Let's send Chris a copy of Culture Jihad 2, a way of saying welcome to the neighborhood and also for being a great call.

So well done, well done, Chris, and it's a great idea. Folks, it is a dangerous time out there, and we're going to get into more of this in the next hour, where Jewish students are now coming under physical attack on American soil. And I would encourage all of you Christians out there to step up to the plate and maybe, maybe, just maybe Christian students can help protect Jewish students on these campuses. And it might be where if you have a Baptist student union or a Wesleyan fellowship, maybe you go over and ask the local Hillel chapter on campus, hey, what can we do to help out? How can we be of service to you?

But we've got to stand together. Because I'm telling you folks, these Muslim radicals, and there are a lot of them, are coming after the Christians and the Jews. And then they're coming after you, gay folks, too.

So I'm just telling you, you better wake up, folks. We've got to start looking after each other here. It's getting ugly out there. All right, hang tight, folks. Hour two of the big show coming up.

Well, we have been covering a lot of crazy stories, campus chaos. Across America. And there is a war being waged right now on American public and private school campuses. And students are now starting to fight back. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line.

Marissa Fallon is the director of Advocacy for Parents Defending Education, a great group, defendinged.org is the website. And Marissa, first of all, great to have you with us on the show today. Thank you so much for having me. I'm really excited to talk about this with you.

Well, let's talk about what happened. I want you there are two components of this story.

So first of all, tell us what happened that caused students to get riled up at in the Penn Delco School District. Yep, so this is the Pendelco District, which is outside of Philadelphia. And the students and the parents in this district for months after month have been going to school board meetings, talking to their superintendent, reaching out to elected state officials. About a really concerning situation that a lot of the girls were reporting that there was an 18-year-old male student using the girls' bathroom who I was identifying as transgender. And the girls were feeling unsafe, they were feeling harassed in the bathroom, they've been anxious to use the bathroom, having a lot of anxiety.

So they reached out to their school officials, including their principal, to express their concerns and their fear. And really their concerns fell for the most part on deaf ears. No one would address the situation of why the student was in the bathroom, what allowed him to be in the bathroom. And In the end, all the school offered was that the girls could use a single sex bathroom on the other side of the school.

So the biological male could continue to use the girl's bathroom. But the girls, if they felt uncomfortable, they had to walk across the campus. To use a single-stall unisex bathroom.

So I'm curious how all that worked out. Yeah, well the girls, obviously people wouldn't use the bathroom. I mean they didn't want to do that. They would go to the bathroom in pairs.

So really they ended up at a standstill where this male was still allowed to use the bathroom. The girls were uncomfortable, continue to complain about it. Nobody does anything.

So eventually some of the students and parents organized a walkout in protest. of allowing single-sex spaces to be essentially used by anyone with no policy, no parameters. in place in the district. This is just absolutely insane.

So, moms and dads, students got very upset. And tell us what happened next.

So the students got upset. Nobody was listening to them. They organized a walkout, and that was October 25th at Sun Valley High School, which is one of their high schools. And they were essentially protesting the bath not only the existing bathroom regulations, I can't even call them a policy because during the parents' research and during our research, we can't find any existing policy that was allowing people to pick and choose whatever bathroom they want to use.

So that was one thing they were protesting. But another thing that then came up was the district then quickly getting a lot of press attention, a lot of negative attention, a lot of questions finally being asked in a very public way that they couldn't hide from, the district. Is now attempting to rush through a non-discrimination gender preference accommodation policy, which is policy 259, which is essentially going to codify These bathroom rules allowing transgender students to use the bathroom of their choosing. I'm curious to get your reaction to that, because in many of these cases early on, the students were either nonresponsive to this kind of stuff or they would side with the LGBT community, but clearly something else is going on here. This is sort of exciting, to be honest with you.

Yeah, I think it's really great, and I think this is an example of students have had enough. I mean, the Sun Valley High School community and the Penn Delco community was inspired by a neighboring community in Pennsylvania, the Perk Valley High School, who at the end of September, there was actually a male student, and the male student was so upset about hearing, again, similar situation biological males using The girls' bathrooms, that he organized a massive walkout.

So that happened at the end of September to protest his school's decision to allow transgender students to use any bathroom they chose.

So then it kind of catches fire, right?

So then the Pandelco parents see: oh, not only did these students have this walkout, but it actually caused. The Perk Valley High School to change their policy of who can use the bathroom. Then Pandelco Had a rally with the same purpose. And now we're seeing actually tomorrow in Loudoun County, Virginia, they're doing. a walkout to restore girls only and boys only lockers, showers and bathrooms and overturn their policy, eighty forty, which is their transgender policy, which allows uh transgender students to use the bathroom of their choosing.

So We are seeing, you know, kids have been through a lot. In school, between COVID, critical race theory, social-emotional learning, restorative justice.

Now we're seeing this. gender ideology being pushed at the students. And I think the students are really speaking up and coming out and saying they've had enough. They want to go to school. They want to learn.

They want to do math. They want to work on projects. They want to do their sports teams. And they don't want to have all of these distractions being forced down their throat. without any discussion whatsoever about really what's the best situation for the school community.

As a whole, because these decisions get made on an administrative and school board level, but there's usually barely any discussion. About whether or not these policies are good.

So instead, what we're doing is pushing girls. Out of girls' spaces, it's like the tyranny of the minority, right? For a small number of students. All of the other students have to suffer, and they're never included in the process.

So I'm really proud of these kids for. Sticking up for themselves and for speaking out. And believe me, it's not easy. The Penn Delco kids have been bullied, harassed. you know, coaches saying you can't participate With the team today, if you participate in the walkout.

So these kids are sacrificing a lot. It's not easy what they're doing, but good for them for. Getting up for what they believe. I just love this. And Marissa, and by the way, folks, Marissa Fallon on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line today, Director of Advocacy for Parents Defending Education.

Marissa, I want you to give our listeners sort of the talking points real quick of the group and what you guys are up to. Great.

So Parents Defending Education, we're a national grassroots organization working to reclaim our schools from activists promoting harmful agendas.

So what we really want to do is we want to get the politics out of schools, and we want to get back to learning the fundamentals. You know, reading, writing, math, science. We're seeing the NAPE scores in almost every district. which is the national report card on how students are doing. basically, you know, has fallen off a cliff.

And that started happening before COVID.

So a lot of people want to blame That on COVID, but it started to happen in 2019.

So we're clearly seeing the kids are not getting the education that their tax dollars are paying for. And a big part of that is schools spending a lot of time on activists and political agendas that have nothing to do with the core educational values. That parents and taxpayers. Want the children to be focusing on.

So our organization helps with that.

Well, that's great. And again, folks, DefendingED, defendinged.org is the website. And be sure to check out the great work of Marissa and the great team there. Marissa, got to leave it there. Appreciate the great information, and thank you for finding the good fight out there.

Thanks so much. All right. There you go. Marissa Fallon. She is Director of Advocacy for Parents Defending Education, and we'll be sure to get her back.

I just love to see this because I think the students now are behaving more like adults than the adults are in our public schools. All right. We're going to take a quick break when we come back. A lot happening up on Capitol Hill, including a contentious moment. As a matter of fact, let's play this audio here.

This is from Senator Josh Hawley just a few moments ago, grilling the Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. It turns out there is someone employed. Paid by your tax dollars, who is actually saluting the Hamas paragliders. And Hawley wants to know wha why hasn't this person been fired? An employee of the Department of Homeland Security who posted these comments on October the 7th.

That's not all she posted. She also posted this graphic.

Now this is a fake graphic, I want to be clear, but I think we understand it. This is a paraglider, a Hamas paraglider. Depicted here with a machine gun flying into Israel. She posted it under her online alias. with the celebratory Free Palestine.

mister Secretary, what's going on here? Is this typical of people who work at DHS? This is an asylum and immigration officer who is posting these, frankly, pro genocidal slogans. and images on the day That Israelis are being slaughtered in their beds. What have you done about this?

Four things I'd like to say to you. Number one. Your question to suggest That that is emblematic. Of the men and women of the Department of Homeland Security is despicable. I'm sorry.

What have you done? This person works for the Department of Homeland Security. Have you fired her? That was one of four answers. Have you fired her?

One. Have you fired her? Don't come to this hearing room. When Israel has been invaded and Jewish students are barricaded in libraries in this country and cannot be escorted out because they are threatened for their lives, you have employees who are celebrating genocide and you are saying it's despicable for me to ask the question? There you go, folks.

We're going to have more of that coming up. 844-747-8868. I thought it was a pretty darn fair question. 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Starnes Show.

All right, so that back and forth, Josh Hawley, the senator from Missouri. Calling out Alejandro Majorcas. There is a stamper. who has been posting a number of anti Israel social media posts, including one that actually celebrated the Hamas Paragliders.

Now that staffer has been placed on paid leave, but is still employed. And Hawley kept pressing the issue, Why haven't you fired this woman? and Majorkas refused to comment. He said, It's a personnel issue. We cannot comment.

Well, how long does it take to investigate? You bring the person in. And you bring him in, and you say, okay, assalamu alaikum.

So. Uh Did you? Did you? Did you post these messages on your social media feeds? And if the person says, yes, I did, fine, you're fired.

Boom, you're gone. Out of here. Get out of here. Security? And if they didn't, well, you investigate and you find out who's telling the truth.

That takes what, all of 10, 15 minutes max?

So, what's the holdup? And I'm with Josh Hawley here. Why are people like that employed? And you heard my orchestra say, How dare you? How dare you insinuate?

Hey, we're not insinuating anything. You've got a Jew hater on the payroll. And you're not willing to fire that person. I'd be curious to know how many other people. Share very similar opinions about Jews in the Biden administration.

Because we know there are a lot of them out there. Right, ladies and gentlemen. Absolutely. All right. Um We're going to do another trivia question here.

We are giving away a lot of great stuff today. Just our way to celebrate Halloween, Reformation Day, Fall Festival Day. I'm trying to get them all. Did I miss anything? I hope not.

This holiday always gets me in trouble with somebody. By the way, coming up a little bit later, we're going to be talking to Congressman Burgess Owens. He's got a new resolution out condemning campus anti-Semitism and pro-Hamas rhetoric. And also, Senator Roger Marshall is going to be here. He is right now in that hearing where my orcas is getting grilled.

So we're going to talk to Senator Marshall a little bit later on. But I am curious to hear from you on this campus. We had a caller, a first time caller, who actually had a great idea about About stepping up and helping protect Jewish students. Who are literally under siege right now on American university campuses? And let's open up the phone lines here.

Curious to hear from you some ideas on how we might be able to stand in the gap and how we might be able to help these Jewish students and help protect them from the Hamas, the pro-Hamas terrorists out there and the pro-Hamas sympathizers.

So give us a call, 844-747-8868. That's our number. That's 844-747-8868. Here's the question.

Well Remember peanuts. The comic strip May I just say that's the one thing I miss about newspapers is they used to have the comic section. That used to be a lot of fun. They don't, it's not the same when you see the cartoons online, right? You gotta, I mean, remember the great cartoons of yesteryear?

You had the. Beetle Bailey, you had Dagwood. And blonde tea. You had the Family Circle, or is it Family Circus? I never could remember that one.

And, of course, you had Dennis the Menace. These were great. Great cartoons, but then you had peanuts.

So Snoopy liked to dress up. For Halloween, and there was a great cartoon show, It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. and Snoopy dressed up in a costume. We want to know what was that costume that Snoopy dressed up in. Was it a firefighter?

Was it a flying ace from World War II? Or was Snoopy a zoo keeper?

So if you know the answer, give us a call, 844-747-8868. Again, Snoopy's Halloween costume. Was it a flying ace from World War II, a fighter, a firefighter, or a zookeeper? 844-747-8868 is our telephone number. That's 844-747-8868.

This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Starnes Radio Show. Hope you're having a good day wherever you are across America. By the way, you folks...

You've got to hang tight because we have some very exciting news that we're going to be sharing with you in just a little while. We're going to do it this hour, and you're going to want to stick around because this is really going to be a lot of fun. And I've been waiting to tell you about this for quite some time.

So hang tight. Hold your horses, as they said back on Gun Smoke. Let's go to the phones here. We have a trivia question on the table. And you guys, we haven't done trivia in a long time, but we have Halloween.

Slash Re Reformation Day slash 12 Festival trivia. I think I got them all in there. Let's go to Glenn in South Haven, Mississippi, where I grew up. Hi, Glenn. How are you?

Good. How you doing, Todd? Glenn, I'm doing pretty good. And of course, Glenn, listening to us on our flagship radio station, KWAM The Mighty 990. Glenn, we're going to try to win you a prize.

Now, here's the deal, Glenn. If you get this, we're not going to mail it to you. You've got to come and pick it up. I can come pick it up. That's no problem.

All right, good, because you're in the neighborhood. All right, here we go.

So we're talking about Snoopy, and Snoopy dressed up for Halloween. And we need to know, did he dress up as a flying ace from World War two? Did he dress up as a firefighter or a zookeeper? I think he was the flying ace, the red. Yeah.

Well done, Glenn. Congratulations to little Vince Geraldi there as well. Used to love the theme music from that show, Glenn. Congratulations. Thanks.

That's great. Thanks. You are a winner. Glenn, hang tight. We're going to get all your info.

And you have just picked up a copy of Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Love from Killing a Nation. By the way, folks, we've got more trivia coming, including one more this hour of the show.

So stick around, and we're going to try to win you some prizes today. All right. I want to go back. We've got some audio. This is the extended version of what just happened with Senator Josh Hawley and the Homeland Security Secretary.

And folks, I'm telling you, we have some very dangerous people running our country right now. Elections have consequences. And it's pretty shameful the people that have been hired, the people that have been allowed to stay in their jobs. Who have become or who are now known as anti-Semites or anti-Christian. Here's what happened.

I just, my time is very limited. I say I think your answer is disappointing, but let me ask you something else. Let me ask you about people who say other things. What about people who say things like on October the 7th. F Israel, I'm cleaning up the language here.

F. Israel, the government and its military. Are you ready for your downfall? People who say things like, F Israel and any Jew Who supports Israel. May your conscience haunt your dreams until your last breath.

Palestine will be free one day. F-apartheid Israel. And is any Israeli This is pretty extreme rhetoric, don't you think? Senator, I do, and I think there is a distinction between espousing or endorsing terrorist ideology. And speech that is odious, that does not rise to that level.

Fair enough. This person works for you. This is Nujah Ali. An employee of the Department of Homeland Security, who posted these comments on October the 7th.

Mr. Secretary, what's going on here? Is this typical of people who work at DHS? This is an asylum and immigration officer who is posting these, frankly, pro-genocidal stories. Slogans and images on the day That Israelis are being slaughtered in their beds.

What have you done about this? Four things I'd like to say to you. Number one. Your question. to suggest That is emblematic of the men and women of the Department of Homeland Security is despicable.

I'm sorry. What have you? This person works for the Department of Homeland Security. Have you fired her? That was one of four answers.

Have you fired her? One. Have you fired her? Don't come to this hearing room. When Israel has been invaded and Jewish students are barricaded in libraries in this country and cannot be escorted out because they are threatened for their lives, you have employees who are celebrating genocide and you are saying it is despicable for me to ask the question?

Has she been fired? Mr. Chairman, after the consumption. Of Senator Hawley's time, I'd like to speak. Has she been fired?

I'd like an answer. Would you not be given the opportunity? Has she been fired? So that individual has been placed on administrative leave.

So she's not been fired. Number two, Why has she not been fired? Number two, the individual was hired in 2019. Why has she not been fired? I cannot speak to an ongoing personnel matter.

Why has this person not been fired? Your answer is you can't speak to it? This isn't sufficient to fire her? I am not in a position to speak to an ongoing personnel matter. That isn't sufficient to fire her?

That's what you're telling me? That is not what I am saying. But she's still on your payroll as we sit here today. That is not what I'm saying. She's still on your payroll as we sit here today.

Senator? How many cases? She was an asylum and immigration officer. How many cases did she adjudicate? Senator, I am not in a position to speak about an ongoing personality.

I am not asking about that. I am asking you how many cases she adjudicated. My answer remains. Did she adjudicate any cases involving Israelis seeking asylum in this country? Same answer.

Well, let me just point you to what else she posted on social media, where she drew attention to the fact that she is an immigration and asylum officer Hashtag immigrants, hashtag asylum seekers, hashtag Palestine, hashtag refugees, welcome. This is on her LinkedIn post where she has her professional affiliation posted.

So I think the American people deserve to know. Has she? Admitted. contrary to law. Individuals who should not be in this country or denied Jewish refugees.

whose genocide she's advocating. asylum that they deserve. Same answer.

You're not going to tell us what this person's done? Are you conducting a review of her cases at least? Senator, as I have said. Over and over again. I cannot speak to an ongoing.

You said that you will not. I can't believe that you would come to this committee knowing this. You know about this. I've written to you about it. You know all about it.

And you come here unwilling to answer and suggest that it is wrong of me to ask you the question. Quite frankly, Mr. Secretary, I think that your performance is despicable, and I think the fact that you are not willing to provide answers to this committee is absolutely atrocious. Wow.

All right, there you go, folks. That just happened. Up At the U.S. Capitol. And we're going to be talking to Senator Roger Marshall about that momentarily.

He's going to be joining us. He was in that hearing room on the committee. But it's a fair question to ask, especially when you have the level. of hostilities being directed at Jews across this country. It's absolutely unacceptable.

Meanwhile, the White House is more interested in turning this around. Here's John Kirby yesterday cut number six. And the same goes for here in the country. Corinne talked about what's going on on college campuses, but same goes for Islamophobia. There's no place for that in the country.

It must be condemned equally as strong. And we all need to work with might and main to stop that kind of hate as well.

So what is he talking about? The Muslim students in America are not under attack. They're the ones doing the attacking. I mean, how many times do we have to go through this? You've got Muslims flying jetliners into the buildings on 9-11.

In the name of their religion, the so-called religion of peace, and all of a sudden you've got our elected leaders out there saying, Now y'all be nice to the Muslims, be nice to them. But what they really are saying here, and this is, and they don't want to admit this, but this is what they're saying. When you've got people like the John Kirbys out there, and by the way, you've got even KJP. KJP, who is a practicing lesbian. who, quite frankly, if she were to go over to Iran, she would wind up in jail or they would throw her over the side of a building because, again, they hate they hate the alphabet people too.

But even KJP is afraid to say what needs to be said. I'm just telling you. Cut number five. I want to make it clear before anybody suggests that I am somehow walking away from complicity by Iran. We know that they back and support and resource the Houthis.

Same with Hamas, same with Hezbollah, same with these militia groups in Iraq and Syria. We've not backed away or shied away from calling it like we see it. But with these particular reports, I couldn't be certain. And here's KJP. Thank you, Karim.

Does President Biden think the anti-Israel protesters in this country are extremists? What I can say is what we've been very clear about this when it comes to anti-Semitism. There is no place. We have to make sure that we speak against it very loud and be very clear about that. Remember, when the president decided to run for president is what he saw in Charlottesville in 2017, when he saw neo-Nazis marching down the streets of Charlottesville with vile, anti-Semitic, just hatred.

And he was very clear then, and he's very clear now. He's taken actions against this over the past two years, and he's continued to be clear. There is no place, no place for this type of vile and despite this kind of rhetoric. And we hear you guys, though, talk about extremists all the time. It is usually about MAGA extremists.

So what about these protesters who are making Jewish students feel afraid on college campuses? Are they extremists? I've been very, very clear. We are calling out any... form of hate.

any form of hate. It is not acceptable. It should not be acceptable here, and we are going to continue to call that out. And let me be very clear: this is a president that has continued to have that fight in his office, in this administration. You know, when he repealed Trump's Muslim ban on his very first day in office, that is something that this president did.

He also established an inter-policy committee to counter Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and related forms of bias and discrimination. We have taken this very, very, very seriously from the president all the way on down. Did you hear her? She almost forgot to say anti-Semitism. It's all about Islamophobia.

So, when the Muslims go out there and they shoot you and they blow you up and they fly the jetliners into the buildings and they chop your heads off and they put your babies into ovens and make you watch as they're roasted alive, keep in mind that this administration believes the greater trauma, the greater crime would be negative thoughts about the Islamic people. That's what the administration is saying, but that's not what they're really saying. And here's what they're really saying. And they want to say this, but they're scared. They can't say it.

We have to be nice to the Moslem people, because they must blow us up if we're not. That that's what they're thinking.

Okay. Right? You gotta have, you could, and by the way. And let me say this: do I believe that all Muslim people are terrorists? No, I do not.

But there sure are a hell of a lot of them out there who are. Far too many for my liking. But again, I go back to a question, and I've asked this question every single day. Since The Muslims waged jihad on Israelis on Israeli soil. I have been asking this question.

Where are the Muslims? Where are the moderate Muslims? Where are the moderate Muslims marching in the streets? Where are the moderate Muslims condemning? The slaughter of the innocent, where are they?

Where are they? But you know what I do see? I do see a lot of Muslims marching in the streets of American cities right now. Calling for the genocide of the Jews. That's what I see.

And I see a White House that is so feckless they can't even They cannot even call out the evil that has infested many of our public university campuses across the nation. Do you see how vile and how evil these people are? They can't even, the words can't even come out of their lips. They don't want to say, we believe. That the Jewish people of America deserve to live in peace.

Those words can't come out of the mouths of anybody in the Biden administration. or even the Democrat Party for that matter. But again, where are points? I get the emails, I get the text messages, I get the social media posts. People are saying, Todd, you're just Islamophobic.

You are just Islamophobic, you Muslim hater. Asalaamu alaikum. No, that's not it at all. I believe. That you should be able to come to this country and practice your religion.

And as long as you don't want to blow me up, I'm good with that. But we've got people here. that want to turn the United States of America into Gaza. And Iran. That's what we've got.

And we better wake up, folks. You better wake up. Because one day there could be missiles coming across that Mexican border. One day, there could just be missiles coming out of your local neighborhood where we've got and by the way, there was just a little while ago, Majorcas actually acknowledged there's no way of knowing how many how many Hamas terrorists have actually crossed our border.

So this could be this could be happening in your neighborhoods. I'm just telling you, folks, we are in a world of hurt right now. All right, got to take a break here. 844-747-8868. I promised I would get another trivia question in, and here we go.

Which U.S. President. Told a group of school kids the White House was haunted by the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. Was it Barack Obama? Was it JFK or was it George H.

W. Bush? The U.S. President who told a group of kids the White House was haunted by the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. Was it Obama, JFK, or George H.W.

Bush? 844-747-8868. We'll be right back. All right, folks, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. By the way, some breaking news from our friends at Newsmax.

Hamas is reportedly sent to release some.

Some hostages Today, the White House Will not even tell us. I don't even think they know how many. Americans are actually held hostage. Right now, they were, what was it, Kirby and James Rosen from Newsmax were going back and forth yesterday. And he They couldn't get a straight answer out of the guy.

Rosen tried, and he kept saying, Well, we think it's less than 10. What is that? That's not a number. They should have an exact number. And quite frankly, they should have already sent in special forces to rescue the American hostages.

But I got a question for you. Because a lot of people now, even on the conservative side, are saying, you know what? Yeah, this is enough. We think Hamas has learned their lesson. Do you agree with that, or do you think the Israelis need to go in and completely wipe out Hamas?

and literally wipe them off the face of the earth. Let's go to Deanna real quick here in Ohio. Deanna, we've got a trivia question on the table. We need to know which U.S. president told kids the White House was haunted by Abraham Lincoln.

Who was that? Barack Obama. Oh No, Deanna, no, I am so sorry. That is not correct.

So, we still have a trivia question out there. Your choice is now, JFK or George H.W. Bush. That was a good answer, though. All right, got to take a break here, folks.

This is the Todd Starns Radio Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite cunt totem Bible clinging deplorable American. See ya. That's right. I love this American rap Todd Starn.

Oh yeah. And hello, America. Welcome to the Todd Surge Radio Program.

So happy to have you with us today. Happy Halloween, Reformation Day, Paul Festival Day, whatever you celebrate today. Hope you're having a happy time doing it. Folks, we've got a lot going on this hour of the program. And some of our very special guests, we're expecting Congressman Burgess Owens to be here from Utah's 4th Congressional District, the Congressman, introducing a resolution condemning this campus anti-Semitism.

So we're looking forward to talking with him. Also, Senator Roger Marshall is going to drop by. He was in that explosive hearing earlier today where Josh Hawley, the senator from Missouri, went at it with Alejandro Mayorkas, the Homeland Security Chief. Right now, though, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, and we are honored to have with us our good friend Timothy Head from the Faith and Family Coalition. He is the executive director, and he's Got a brand new piece out talking about what's happening in the Middle East and specifically the White House's reaction to it.

And Timothy, first of all, good to have you with us today. And I have to say that if you are the White House and you have to come out and reaffirm during every single press conference that you are not anti-Semites, that's a problem.

Well, thanks for having me, Han Todd, and for talking about this issue. It almost gets a little bit embarrassing as Americans to have to kind of clarify this stuff. just about a week ago, just to touch over a week ago, the press secretary comes out and during the briefing, there's an explicit question saying, so the FBI just released its hate crimes report analyzing twenty twenty two results. And basically, just over half of hate crimes reported in 2022 were against Jewish Americans. And so there was a question asked, just a straightforward question asked, does the White House and President Biden have anything to say about the rise in anti Semitic hate crimes?

And her response, she kind of paused and said, Well, we would like to say that we're we believe that Muslims represent a disproportionately small number of Americans and are victims of hate crimes at too high a rate. And the rest of the entire press gallery said, you know, just kind of pause. Like, what, what? What did we just hear? What did she just say?

It took the White House a full day to. To come back and clarify that they are against quote-unquote anti-Semitism and all forms of hate. Let me ask you though, Timothy. Hold on just a second, Timothy. But do you actually believe them?

Because I don't. Every time they come out, it's always about Islamophobia, and then they throw in, oh, yeah, we condemn anti-Semitism as well. I think there's something going on in that White House.

Well, at the very least, we'll have to say that they're not at least making it very clear that they don't. I think we can at least obviously say that. That and frankly, of course, given what we're witnessing in the Middle East right now and in Israel and particularly around Jerusalem and South Israel, we need moral clarity. The world, frankly, needs moral clarity. We just have seen an explosion on college campuses in the United States.

certainly in kind of town centers across Europe and even in some other parts of the world. And now is not only the time for the United States to stand up for Israel, but frankly, just for good, decent people to protect and defend our Jewish friends and colleagues and others in our community. Timothy Head is with us. He is the Executive Director of the Faith and Family Coalition. Timothy, I'm curious to get your thoughts on how Christians here in America should be reacting.

I have seen a good many conservatives on our side of this, on this side of this issue. And yet they're saying that Israel now needs to practice a little bit of restraint, enough already. We don't need America involved in this.

So what is the message that you have for Christians and Conservatives?

Well, admittedly, okay, when we're starting to talk about teetering up against potential war, anybody in the United States and certainly every other nation state needs to proceed very cautiously. But at the same time, every country, including Israel, has the legal and also moral right and duty to defend her own citizens. And so I mean, October the 7th was nothing short of mass murder and frankly targeted towards one ethnicity, let's call it genocide. And so the retaliation does need to be proportionate. There are rules of engagement that allude to that.

But when Hamas and other terrorists around the world use human shields, it frankly puts people in very difficult situations.

So I think that at least from our perspective, and I alluded to this in that piece, Right now, the American people overwhelmingly actually are supportive of not only of Israel and her right to defend her people, but also. you know, supportive of America, sending certainly financial aid, but also even military and and intelligence aid to Israel. And thankfully, you know, there is polling, credible polling to that effect in the United States. We just need an executive branch that also recognizes and kind of falls in line with where the American people are right now. Real quick here, Timothy, before we let you go, we are getting a lot of reporting from Capitol Hill and also from some of the mainstream media, the condemnation surrounding House Speaker Mike Johnson, who is a longtime friend of this program and me personally, they are accusing him of being an extremist.

MSNBC had a rather nasty hit piece over the weekend where they called him a Christian fundamentalist, which is sort of code. I'm curious to get your reaction to these attacks on a good and decent man like Speaker Johnson. Good and decent man is exactly right. And look, I mean, for evangelicals and Catholics across the country, Uh there there are not ten more um committed Followers of Jesus in the United States Senate or House than Mike Johnson. And so we could hardly ask for a clearer, more clarion voice.

than now Speaker Johnson on our issues. And frankly, we at Faith and Freedom Coalition and my hope and assumption is a number of other conservative Christian organizations and religious liberty organizations will be rushing to the aid of this guy and frankly will be working hand in hand with him as he leads this new House of Representatives. I actually have the utmost respect for him. And by the way, one thing that people are not giving him credit for, a lot of people don't even know, you know, that he's an adoptive, he didn't legally adopt, but he raised an African-American young man who he and his wife took in when they were newlyweds. And spent seven or eight years with him and their household.

That's you know, a lot of these things that are going to be levied against him and his wife not only are pejoratives, but they're just categorically untrue. Yeah, well said. And folks, again, you got to read Timothy's piece. And we have a direct link to it on our live show blog at ToddSterns.com. Timothy Head, Faith and Family Coalition, rather, the executive director of Timothy, always good having you on the show.

Thanks so much. God bless that. All right. There you go. A lot to unravel there.

All right. We've got to take a quick break. Before we do that, though, let's go to the phones. We have a trivia question on the table. Let's go to Terry in Statesville, North Carolina.

Now, Terry, the question that we had held over from last hour, and nobody gets this question right.

So you got a lot writing on this, Terry. All right, you ready? Yes, sir. All right, here we go.

The president who told school kids the White House was haunted by the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, was it JFK or George H. W. Bush? Uh I'm just going to take a guess and say it's George H. W.

Bush. Yes. Well, that's a good guess there, Terry, on this Halloween/slash Reformation Day/slash Wall Festival Day. Congratulations, sir. Terry, you have just won yourself a signed copy of my latest book, Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left from Killing a Nation.

We're going to put you on hold, and we're going to get all of your information there.

So, well done, you, sir. All right, folks, 844-747-8868. That is our telephone number. If you'd like to weigh in on the big issues of the day, that's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Starting Show.

All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Program broadcasting on more than 140 radio stations around the country, border to border, coast to coast, across the fruited plain. And we've got a lot going on this hour of the program coming up. Hang tight. We have yet another trivia question to share with you.

But right now, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line, and great to have with us Congressman Burgess Owens from the 4th Congressional District in Utah. Congressman, hope you're doing well today. Thank you. Thank you, Todd. Looking forward to chatting with you, my friend.

Absolutely. Well, first of all, I am excited about this resolution that you have introduced condemning this anti-Semitism, this pro-Hamas rhetoric. It's happening in all places, including my hometown, the University of Memphis. You had hundreds of kids waving the Palestinian flag on campus. Congressman, what compelled you to introduce this resolution?

Well Obviously, we've been concerned about this process. for quite a while was having our college campuses. uh the uh you know there's something that Thomas Jason said back at the beginning, ignorant and free can never be. And for the last few decades, we're training out kids on the concept of ignorance. Uh and hate.

So obviously what's going on right now with Israel, for anybody who can see and understand what happened, the slaughter, the satanic acts That were put on these people, and to have kids here in this country not understand that, not have the heart, the empathy to realize what's wrong. That says that we're doing a terrible job on our cause campuses.

So I personally, this is just the beginning of a sea change, Todd. America's waking up. We worked in the last couple of years with COVID to see this DEI stuff, we see our blacks being taught to hate whites. Blacks.

Now, I grew up in the 60s. I understand what segregation was about. I was the third black American to get to play University of Miami. Uh so to get to a point now in twenty twenty three where black Americans are now saying we don't want to have our graduation with whites, we don't want to dormitories with whites, that's just the beginning.

Now we have this process where people are showing their hatred to a race, a religion, a culture. And many of us I'm trying to figure out where did this happen? How did this happen to this point where we see such hatred and bigotry?

Well, it's because we've been training our kids to be this way, and we need to change that trajectory and turn this around in a big, big way. Congressman, we have seen on the Ivy League schools where a lot of the big dollar donors are pulling their money, and I think that's really where you are going to get the attention of these folks that really don't have a moral center. They can't do the right thing, but they're compelled to do it now because of the money situation. But it's the public university campuses. And I'm wondering this resolution: is there anything in there about May be defunding or at least threatening to defund these schools that refuse to condemn and protect the Jewish students.

Condemn the anti-Semitism. You just nailed it. Defunding is the only way to get these people's attention. The upside of the committee I'm on, the education workforce. I'm the sub-chair, I'm the chair of the subcommittee for higher education.

Uh we have to have accountability. What has been happening over the years is that we have this this little um uh they've had this this little island. In which they can do anything they want to do with our kids. They can charge as much as they want to, they can teach, they can bring Marxists, and that's what's going on. The problem we have Marxists in our schoolrooms teaching our kids, and they come out acting like Marxists.

So we have to make sure that our outcomes are beginning to be judged. If they cannot give us a product, and that's the goal, a product that can produce, that's part of who they are, part of our country, part of our industry, if they can't give us that, then we need to start pulling back our money. and giving it to those educational systems that are being successful. It's all about meritocracy. Unfortunately, with education, we've gotten away from that for too many decades where the pieces come in and they get their tenure and say anything they want to.

We had a hundred it was a hundred professors, one hundred professors at Columbia that signed a letter pro homas. or pro-Palestinian at this at this time in which it really is it is pro-Hamas. First of all, how can a college have that many professors, probably all making six feet incomes? and having the boldness to come out in this arena after seeing what's happened to the Jewish state on October 7th and feel comfortable doing that.

So we're going to hold these people accountable for the first time, probably ever and ever. And I'm excited about being part of a conference, a Republican Party, that understands this and will make sure that their funds are being pooled if they're not giving us the right products we deserve and demand as taxpayers.

Now, Congressman, some breaking news. And we've been monitoring the White House press briefing on Newsmax, which is happening as you and I are talking. John Kirby, just a few moments ago, said that the White House is now worried. About terrorism happening here in the United States, and he says that they're monitoring our ports of entry. I think that's a load of hooey.

And I think they're right to be concerned. I suspect we've got a lot of sleeper cells that have been able to cross our border over the past couple of years.

Well, to the Biden administration, welcome to the party. We've been seeing this for three years. This is just basic common sense, Todd. You have to be in a mindset that you care less about our country when you allow millions of people to come in, hundreds of thousands of people that are totally unvetted, many of them that are that are that are now you find it on the terrorist watch list. And up until this point, all they've been doing is trying to do everything they can to open the border more.

When the Texas goes down and puts the barbed wire in place, they cut the barbed wire. They have done everything they could to put our country at risk.

Now that we see what it looks like, risk looks like, now we see what evil looks like in Israel, they're now trying to hide the fact that they've been doing this and that we should now be concerned.

Well, look, it's a little bit too late. We have, I think, close to seven, eight million people. Illegal people coming to this country has not been vetted, that have hidden all over the country. We have 85,000 unaccounted children that have lost.

So, this administration is going to have a lot to deal with, not only now. but the future of our country will see, look back on this time and see How How incompetent, how anti-American these people have been, and there will pay a price for it at some point. We have to figure out how to make that work. All right. Well, Congressman, we've got to leave it there.

We appreciate the resolution, and I'm glad you're exposing what's happening on these college campuses. It's just insane, and we've got to do something about it.

So, thank you very much for coming on the show today. Thank you, Todd. We're just getting started, so just stay tuned. Thank you, my friend. Appreciate it.

All right, good man, right there, folks. Congressman Burgess Owens from the great state of Utah, friend of this radio program. By the way, have you, you know, it's Halloween, and I got in trouble. There was a Halloween party. And I saw some guy.

He was dressed up in this elaborate costume. He looked like a I just thought it was Michael Moore. He looked like a giant blimp of a guy. And it turned out, I said, Hey, that is a nice Michael Moore costume. It turned out to be Java the Hutt from Star Wars.

You just hate to make those assumptions. You know, it's just and sometimes people are dressed in costumes you think they are, but that's just how they dress in real life. Anyway, there's an interesting piece out: 15 offensive Halloween costumes that should not exist. And it's fascinating because apparently transphobia is a big issue in costumes and Halloween this year. And I don't get that.

I'm really not understanding.

So, are you saying that men should not dress as women now? Is that what they're saying? Because that's what we've been saying on the program for a long time now. And really, it's not about the whole The transgender movement, I mean, that's a whole separate issue. But I'm just telling you, these big burly guys, they've got the hairy arms and the hairy chest, and they're wearing these low-cut dresses and the stiletto heels and the feather bow is.

Guys, it's just not a good look for you. I'm just telling you, it's just not a good look. All right, we got to take a break here. 844-747-8868. That is our telephone number.

We have Senator Roger Marshall coming up. We have Halloween trivia. There's really no reason for you to stop listening to the radio show. We'll be right back, folks. All right, folks, welcome back to the Todd Sterns Radio Show.

All right, as promised, we've got another trivia question we want to pass out to you folks. In just a few moments, we're going to be talking with Senator Roger Marshall. But here is your Halloween Fall Festival Reformation Day question. We want to know what state. Produces the most pumpkins.

That's according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Is it the state of Alabama? Is it Illinois or California? The state that produces the most pumpkins.

Alabama, Illinois, or California. If know the answer, give us a call, eight four four seven four seven eighty eight sixty eight. That's eight four four seven four seven eighty eight sixty eight. All right, we've got another transgender fella. And he's very upset with all of you people because he keeps getting misgendered.

In restaurants.

So take a listen to cut number 10. It Looks like uh he's having a uh nice feast to all the feast here. But it was not all good. Hi. I use she, her pronouns.

I'm not sure. Oh, sir. Yeah, like it's like a knife in the heart. I also I did specifically ask ahead of time not to be called sir. Yeah, I'm just gonna go.

Yeah, if we bother start sex.

Okay, not I mean, I'm I'm so sorry, I apologize. You're just always like a knife. It always hurts every single time. I was wondering if there's a manager I could talk to about something that happened. Yeah, I I was called sir.

Oh, okay. It just really sucks every time it happens. I don't need to be called ma'am. I just need to not be called. Don't call me ma'am.

Thank you. Will you call me sir? I I just want to tell you that The person who gave me this called me sir. What? Call me Sir.

I'm so sorry, Sarah.

Okay. It's just like. It kind of just hurts a lot to get called sir. Oh, sorry about that color. Very good.

Thank you so much. No. Oh, I'm. Yeah. I'm ma'am, not sir.

Not a sir. Nothing like a good misgendering. It does it is a knife in the gut when I get called sir. I f I feel like I need to tell him. Yeah.

I need to tell him that that hurt. It hurts more, though, and it's not intentional because it means, like, this is sir to him. I know you didn't mean it, but I am not a sir. I'm so sorry. It's okay.

I know you didn't mean it. It's just, you know, it hurts. I know when people clock me, it's fine, but like, it does kind of hurt. Thank you. I'm not, sir.

A lot. Oh my gosh.

So let's stop here.

So the guy was literally filming himself at all of these restaurants. He would just go to a different restaurant, sit down, and the guy looks hideous. I mean, he looks like a dude in a dress. And it's not like he's going the extra mile to make him even look like a woman, right? He's just.

A dude in a dress, and it's an ill-fitted dress at that. But again, if you were to sit down, or if you were the server and you saw that guy sit down, you would say, Hello, sir, welcome to Applebee's. I'm not a sir, I'm a man, man. But again, how are we supposed to know? I mean, it seems to me at that point you need to wear something on you that says, I am a man.

Or something. Man? I d I don't know. I mean, it's confusing out there for crying out loud. Jeez a Lou, what's a guy to do?

So I feel bad for these servers. You know, just the other day I got an email from a very well, a New York Times best-selling author. And who's been on the show many times? I guess this individual has a new publicist. And this publicist When I got the email, it said the person's name, and then right next to the name, it had she, her, hers.

I just deleted it. I I can't bring myself to respond to someone. I can't take you seriously if you have to identify. Your preferred pronouns. I mean, that's ridiculous.

All right, eight four four seven four seven eighty eight sixty eight. That's our telephone number. That's and by the way, what if the guy was dressed up for Halloween? I mean, what if the dude was really a dude and not a dudette? I mean, what do you do then, dude?

All right, let's go to the phones here. Nolan in Salem, Oregon, listening to us on our great affiliate there, KYKN. Nolan, how are you today? I'm very well, Todd. Thank you.

Thank you for taking my call. Glad to do it. All right, Noah, Nolam, we're going to try to win you a prize here. We're talking about pumpkins. And according to the U.

S. Department of Agriculture, which state in the Union produces the most Pumpkins, is it Alabama, Illinois, or California? Uh I'm gonna guess Illinois. Yes, Roland, congratulations. Yeah, Nolan, congratulations.

Sorry, my Dracula is just not working out well today. Nolan, congratulations. You are, in fact, a winner, and it was Illinois. I would have guessed California. I was a coin flip, but I thought there might be more pumpkin heads in Illinois, but I don't know.

Well, very well played. Hey, Nolan, congratulations. We're going to put you on hold, and you be sure to tell our friends at KYKN that we said hello.

So good guy right there. Congratulations. All right, there you go, ladies and gentlemen.

Well done with your Halloween trivia today. Very well played. All right. We are going to take a quick break here: 844-747-8868. That's 844-747-8868.

This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, folks, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Just got word of Senator Marshall still in that big hearing, so we will reschedule the senator. But it's good to have you with us today, and we'd love to hear from you as well. 844-747-8868 is our number.

That's 844-747-8868. Now, an interesting development earlier today, Anthony Blinken up on Capitol Hill asking for $14 billion in aid to Israel, and a bunch of Democrats disrupted the proceeding. Cut 14. Yeah. All the water has to go.

All right, John.

So I was just going to say, as we watch these protesters, I thought this could go on for maybe a half an hour or so, but they're standing up on mask now, so they'll all get bounced very quickly. Who's in charge of security over at the U.S. Capitol? Have they not learned any lessons at all? You've got these pro-Hamas sympathizers that somehow made it inside the U.S.

Capitol building. It's insane.

Meanwhile, you have poor Jewish students, and they're afraid to even come out of their dorm rooms on many of these university campuses. Cut number four. My Jewish sisters and brothers and I are on the receiving end of death threats from our peers. Undergraduates who have filed reports about these incidents have been left with no emotional support, no feedback, and no consequences for the perpetrators of these hateful actions. As a result of this inaction, there are Jewish students who do not feel physically safe on campus.

And yet the unequivocal tone of the student body and frankly the administration prior to recent email statements is, no, this is not what anti-Semitism is. This is not what you are experiencing. F the juice. Those words were said not here on Amsterdam. Not on Broadway.

Those words were said in Jerome Green Hall. Columbia's Law School Building. To be clear, I know this incident in fact occurred. Because it happened to me. I was the one who the anti-Semite chose to direct that message to.

Yesterday, on a Cornell online discussion forum, someone threatened to slit the throats of Jews. Jewish students were scared to leave their rooms, and the kosher dining hall was locked down. Last week, a mob of anti-Israel students trapped Jewish students in the Cooper Union Library. This is 2023. It is not 1942.

And this is New York, it's not Nazi Europe.

So Colombia. What will you do to ensure that we are not the next Cooper Union or Cornell?

Well, it's a great question. And these are Jewish students at Columbia University. A few days ago, there were about a half a dozen or so Jewish students who were trapped in a library at the Cooper Union, which is another college there in Manhattan, right around well, not too far away from Union Square. And these kids were trapped inside. The faculty actually recommended that the kids hide in the attic of the library.

So they might be able to be safe. And again, we're not talking about Europe here. We're not talking about Poland during World War II. Where the Nazis were coming in and arresting the Jews. We're talking about.

The United States of America. It's unbelievable. that this is happening in our nation. And again, I appreciate the resolution coming from Congressman Owens, but I want to see something with teeth. I I think we need to be defunding every single university.

That refuses to protect Jewish and Christian students. All right, let's go to the phones here. 844-747-8868. We have Steve in Arkansas. Hi, Steve.

What's on your mind today? Hey, Todd, I've got a real radical idea. I know it can't work, but let's just dream a minute and think if we could make it work. Uh All the wars and the fighting and the arguing over Political ideologies and religions and stuff. How about we do this?

Why don't we just take let the Christians and the Jews and the capitalists all take the Western hemisphere? And the Marxist and socialist and all the other religions. They can take these. Eastern hemisphere. We'll have an ocean between us on both sides for.

Our border control and Everybody get on with their life. There there's so much with would go away that we're arguing and fighting over right now.

Well, you know what's interesting? When you actually read the Quran, you understand exactly what's going on in this world. And Steve, I'll take it a step further. When over the weekend, they were showing these massive demonstrations where you had thousands and thousands of Muslims marching in the streets. And it was very clear to me it was a reminder of the Muslims' threat and promise that they were going to take over the world.

And I think we are watching that before our very eyes. I know it's a little politically incorrect to talk about these kinds of issues, but again, I think we have to frame this in the reality of what it is. This is a religious war that is being waged right now in the Middle East. And if we don't address it like that, We're not going to get it, and it is going to put all of us in grave danger.

Well, what's going on here? Humans are acting like they've done since the beginning of human history. What's changed? We've got the technology and the weapons now to make this whole earth just go away. And that was the threat.

You know, the Biden administration coming out and saying that we've got the most powerful nuclear bomb in the history of nuclear bombs, it reminded me that during the political campaign, the presidential campaign back in 2020, Steve, the threat from the Bidens and from the Democrats and the Obiden administration was that it was Donald Trump who was going to bring the nation to the edge of nuclear war. And now here we are on the verge of World War III, and the Biden administration is talking about nuclear bombs. Mm-hmm. Yeah, if we go on with all this stuff that we've been talking about since the beginning of history, that's what's going to happen. Sure.

it's going to get crazy enough someday that somebody's going to start pushing buttons. Absolutely. I think we ought to try to come up with another solution before we get to that point. And the way we're going about it right now is not working. All right.

Well, Steve, it's a great thought. I kind of like your idea, but I'm not sure I can handle that many Europeans hanging out with us. The French are very unpleasant people. Steve, appreciate that call. Thank you.

844-747-8868 is our number. That's 844-747-8868. Here's Carrie Lake, and she has a couple of thoughts about what's about to happen in the presidential race, COP13. Very fascinating to me to see the 60-minutes interviewer ask, you know, what happens if Joe isn't the one in 2024 for whatever reason, incapacitated or worse. And she kind of laughed it off like, oh, he'll be there.

But then they went one step further, Carrie, and said, yeah, but the donors don't like you. They don't want to support you as the potential 2024 candidate. What are your thoughts on what happens on the left side? I think they're already starting to make some plays over there in moves. I mean, you're seeing Gavin Newsome.

Who has been a complete disaster to the state of California? He's the reason we have the saying, Don't California our Arizona. And you can apply that to all 49 states outside of California. Don't California our Iowa, our Florida, our you name it. People are so outraged by what's happened to California at the hands of Gavin Newsom.

But yet the Democrats are trying to lay the groundwork for him to run. It's pretty obvious if you're watching him. He's over there in China meeting with the guy who will really be in control of the Democrat Party. And we're just watching as they're starting to get their chess pieces on the board and move around because I think they know that Joe Biden is going to be such a disaster that the Democrat Party will collapse if he is on the ticket. I don't know who it's going to be ultimately, but my bet is that Gavin Newsom is starting to move in.

They realize that not just Joe Biden but Kamala Harris are disastrous and the voters just will not vote. for those two. All right, well, there you go.

So, a couple of thoughts here. I think Newsom does want to be the guy, but I don't think he's going to be the guy. The Democrats, just think about this for a moment. Do you really think the Democrats are going to go for a rich, white, heterosexual dude with good hair? I don't think so.

My money is still on Michelle Obama. I think she's got the inside track there, and I think she's going to be the nominee. Or Hillary, but I don't think it can be. No, it's not going to be Booty Judge. Yeah, Booty Judge is.

The problem with Booty Judge is not that he's gay, it's just that he's white. And he also served in the military, which is not a good thing for the Democrats.

So they don't like the military.

So I just don't think, I mean, the gay thing is big. But I'm not sure that's a big enough card in the identity politics card game to get him the nomination. Maybe, maybe VP, I don't know. But I'm pretty certain it's going to be either Michelle Obama or possibly Mrs. Bill Clinton.

Hillary Rodham Clinton. We'll wait and see how all that plays out. Folks, in the meantime, I want you to head over to our website, ToddSterns.com. We have a lot of great information for you there. Our team has been working on stories throughout the day.
