Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah. All right. Hello, everybody. Welcome to what is a very busy news day here on the Todd Starnes radio program.
And we got a lot happening. I mean a lot, including some breaking news. By the way, coming up in just a little while, we're going to be talking to the lawmaker from Georgia who switched political parties, and now she is facing the wrath of a Democrat-led racist mob. Her name is Georgia State Senator Misha Maynor, and she's going to be here this hour of the show to talk about why she left the Democrat Party, why she has joined the Republican Party, and the racist backlash. Folks, I'm telling you, the Democrat Party is a racist party at its core.
They have never apologized for slavery. They've never apologized for their behavior in the 1960s. They've never apologized for holding up the Civil Rights Act, and they've never, never apologized. And I'm telling you, they are racist to the core.
So I'm looking forward to having this conversation a little bit later on this hour. But I want to start with something that broke just a little while ago. President Trump announcing that he has received a letter. He has been ordered to appear before a federal grand jury. And he is expecting to be arrested and charged in connection to the January 6th probe, the investigation.
I want to read the statement from the president, and then I have some thoughts about this, because I don't believe that, well, let me just read, let me read this, and then I'll explain my theory here about what's going on. Rather than looking at the cheaters, the weaponized DOJ and FBI target and harass those who complain about the cheaters and the massive fraud that took place. These are all hoaxes and scams made up to stop me from fighting for the American people, but I will never stop. That's all caps. President Trump says I will never stop.
Nothing like this has ever happened in our country before or even close. This witch hunt is all about election interference and a complete and total political weaponization of law enforcement. It is a very sad and dark period for our nation. The president went on to say that deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Biden's DOJ, sent a letter stating that I am the target of the J6 grand jury investigation and giving me a very short four days to report to the grand jury, which almost always means an arrest and indictment. This has been a never-ending fight since the day I came down the escalator in Trump Tower.
And he's absolutely right here. He is absolutely right. But I contend that this is not just the Biden DOJ doing all of this. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe this is a concerted attack on Donald Trump and that establishment Republicans within the party are complicit in these attacks on the president. But keep in mind, the Republicans, the establishment Republicans, hate Trump even more than the Democrats do.
They can't stand the guy. And the reason why is he's blown up their power base.
So they're out for blood, and they want to destroy Donald Trump. And you better believe they're going to do it. And we saw the reaction, and it's already starting. Nikki Haley, just a few moments ago, coming out. And Nikki Haley now says that it's just too much.
These distractions, it's all too much. The president needs to step aside and let other people run for the White House.
Well, I say no. Absolutely not. Ladies and gentlemen, we are facing a severe crisis in America. This is a constitutional crisis in America where our judicial system has been turned into some sort of a third world banana republic. This is unbelievable.
President Trump is right. This is a witch hunt. And you know what? It's probably not the last time he's going to be indicted. But going back to J6, anybody going to answer some questions about J6?
Because we still don't know from the FBI how many of their agents actually planned, organized, and led the attack on the Capitol on January the 6th. The FBI director, Christopher Wray, was testifying before Congress last week, and he refused to say. and quite frankly he should have been held in contempt of congress his butt should be in jail throw him into the dc gulag because that's what it is folks you've got people i'll give you an example in memphis tennessee you can go out right now on the streets of memphis tennessee and you can shoot somebody in the head and by lunchtime you will be out on the streets you can go out there you can carjack somebody you can beat the living daylights out of him and you are back out on the streets. We've got people that have been in that D.C. gulag for years without so much as a trial.
They have yet to have their day in court.
Some of these people, their crime was literally being invited into the building by police officers who were opening up the doors. And they're doing a hard time right now. And yet, for some reason, the FBI director cannot, and we're talking years later, cannot acknowledge how many of his FBI agents were actually there. And we're hearing a lot of reports coming out, a lot of reports coming out, that this was all planned by the FBI. Why is it that Nancy Pelosi and the leaders in Congress refused efforts to try and secure the building the day before, knowing that there was going to be a massive crowd of people.
It's almost as if there are some people within the Democrat Party that wanted this to happen. They knew that people were going to be irate. They knew that tensions were going to be high, and they set the stage. They set the table for what happened. That doesn't excuse anybody for their illegal behavior that day.
You broke the law, you pay the price. That's what we've said from day one, and we said it live on the radio as all of this was transpiring during our national show. And I have never wavered from that position. But I do have a question about all those police officers who moved aside the barricades and opened up the doors to the Capitol building and invited people in. Why were those people charged?
Why weren't the U.S. Capitol Police arrested? Why weren't they charged with crimes? They allowed this to happen. but more importantly what about nancy pelosi and congressional leadership we don't know the answers to any of those questions we still don't know who planted those pipe bombs in front of the rnc and dnc headquarters nobody seems to know nobody seems to care and again the reason why is they don't want you to know they know as a matter of fact i'll just go ahead and throw this idea out there is it possible ladies and is it just remotely possible that those devices were planted by FBI agents and they really were not explosives?
Is that remotely possible? And I only ask this because nobody knows. Nobody knows. And yet now they're going after Donald Trump, who told people to protest peacefully. By the way, he was still speaking when all of this chaos was going on at the Capitol building, and yet they're going to throw him in jail?
What are they going to do, throw Donald Trump in the D.C. Gulag? I dare him to do it. And they believe that if you throw Donald Trump in jail, that the Republicans are going to abandon him. That if you make Donald Trump stay in jail, that he will not be able to run for the White House.
Well, I hate to break the news here, folks, but if they throw Donald Trump in jail, he wins the election in a landslide. And I'll take it a step further. Look, Joe Biden won the presidency, allegedly, while campaigning in his basement.
So you don't think Donald Trump can win the White House from a jail? We're living in a very dangerous time right now. And these Republicans who are running for the White House, it's time to stop playing games. We're dealing with the heart and the soul of our nation. Donald Trump was absolutely right.
this is the most important presidential election of our lifetime. I mean, is this the kind of a country you want, ladies and gentlemen, where you throw your political enemies in jail? Hell, you got people right now smoking crack cocaine and marijuana in the White House. Nobody gives a damn. They're literally breaking the law.
Nobody cares. Nobody cares. Matter of fact, the report from Congressman Tim Burchett, a good friend of this program, and what does the congressman say? The Secret Service has already destroyed the evidence. The DNA, they don't want anybody knowing who was smoking that crack cocaine.
They don't want anybody knowing. And we're never going to know. But we know. We know. But all these people running for the White House, it's time to step aside.
Let's get behind Donald Trump. You know you don't have a shot. Really? Come on, Nikki Haley. You really think you're going to be able to pull off an upset win here?
Vivek Ramaswamy? You really think you've got Asa Hutchinson? I mean, even Mike Pence, for crying out loud. Come on, people. You need to wake up and understand that if you don't stop the deep state from doing this to Donald Trump, they will do this to every single Republican in America.
Every single one of them. You don't think they would do this to Ron DeSantis? And my question is, do you think Ron DeSantis would have the fortitude and the courage to stand up to this evil, because that's what it is. It is a satanic evil that has infected and infested our nation. And Trump is saying, you better wake up.
This is not the last time he's going to be indicted. This will be number three. And you watch, it's going to continue, and it's going to go on and on and on. They want this man to die in prison. And if the left had their way, he would be publicly executed in Washington, D.C.
You think I'm making this stuff up, folks? These are very bad people. And you better wake up.
So my question to you, ladies and gentlemen, what do you advise the president to? Because there are people, Republicans right now, saying, you know, we really like this guy. But all the drama. We really, we just don't like all the drama. It's just too much drama.
As a matter of fact, you don't think Republicans are saying that. This is exactly what's happening. I want you to hear some audio. Last night, Ron DeSantis, who, by the way, had a great day yesterday out on the campaign trail. Terrific day.
And a lady stood up, and here's what she had to say at the DeSantis rally about Donald Trump. Cut nine. My love for President Trump comes from all the despair, all the things that he's been through as served as our president of the United States. And he did a good job. But all the things, I'm thinking more with my heart and my sorrow and my love for him and for this country.
But now this is the most important vote that we're going to have. And I have to think more with my mind and what's best for this country. and you did an excellent job. And I certainly appreciate that. God bless you.
Thank you. I appreciate that. And I agree with you. I appreciate what President Trump did. How they treated him with things like Russia collusion was a disgrace.
And he was treated wrong. He was treated in ways that were unconstitutional. But here's the thing. The question for us now is what are we going to do about it? And we need to end the weaponization of government.
I will get that done. It's not about me. It's about you. It's about me standing up for you and standing up for this Constitution and restoring this country to what the founding fathers envisioned. And we will get it done.
We will be focused. We will be disciplined. And we will make it happen.
So thank you for that. God bless you. All right. So a little bit to unravel here. And you heard the woman, and she sounded incredibly earnest, and she was on the verge of tears.
She was very emotional. But the point of this, this is where they want you to be, ladies and gentlemen. Just think about what Ron DeSantis said. Ron DeSantis just admitted, yeah, it was horrible. They treated him horribly.
They treated him wrong. And so what is the answer to that? The answer is to fight back. The answer is to stand up alongside Donald Trump and fight back. If you truly believe that Donald Trump was wronged and what they tried to do to him was wrong and unconstitutional, then don't tell the president to go back to Mar-a-Lago and enjoy the rest of his days playing golf.
You stand alongside this man. We're telling Donald Trump to do the unthinkable, which is to wave the white flag of surrender. That's what we're asking Donald Trump to do here. is to say, Mr. President, we know they screwed you over.
Mr. President, we know they lied about you. Mr. President, we know they did all these horrible things to you. But it's just our nerves are on edge, Donald.
Our nerves are on edge and we just can't take it anymore. Please just go back to Mar-a-Lago, please. No, no, ladies and gentlemen, that's not what we do. We stand our ground and we fight. That's what we do.
844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number. Do we stand and fight, or does Donald Trump surrender and go back to Mar-a-Lago? We want to hear from you this afternoon. 844-747-8868.

All right, Nikki Haley is now calling the President Trump indictment letter a distraction and drama. She says the rest of this primary is going to be in reference talking about to Trump is going to be about Trump, about lawsuits, legal fees, judges. We can't keep dealing with this drama. Do you agree or disagree with Nikki Haley? Do you think that that this is this is drama and we've got to push it aside to let Nikki Haley or Asa Hutchinson become the nominee of the Republicans?
I can't even say it with a straight face. Let's go to the phone lines here. Paula in Oregon. Thank you for listening to us on KYKN. Paula, what's on your mind?
Oh, my goodness. I agree with you completely. I cannot believe it. This is the problem with the Republican Party, is they just get real milquetoast whenever there's any kind of drama or any kind of pushback. We need to learn to stand.
And this man has gone through so much for our country. And not only that, he sees now and knows what's going on behind the scenes. He was in Washington and he was dealing with it. Number two, he is the legitimate president of the United States. And if we don't figure it out and quit with all the illegal voting and stand up against it, we're never going to be a country again.
And as far as all of these people that are running against him on the Republican Party, it's like they're chumming the water. It's sharks because they smell blood, because they think that he is going to be indicted or whatever. We need to stand with the man. He's standing with us. We need to stand with the man.
Paula, I'm with you on this. Ron DeSantis just giving some remarks, and it's going to trigger a lot of conservatives. We're going to play that in just a little while. But I appreciate you calling in, and I think that you are right. This is a folks.
This is the hill on which to die. This is the fight that has to be fought. And all these people who say, well, well, we know that, you know, we know that Russia collusion was a hoax. No, it was not just a hoax. They wanted to sabotage Trump's presidential campaign so he would not be elected.
And when he was elected, they used the same phony dossier to try and overthrow a duly elected government. That is a crime, ladies and gentlemen. Nobody got arrested for that. Nobody got charged with that. And that is the problem.
We have got to stand our ground and we have to fight. And if we do not, they will do this to all of our future Republican presidential candidates. and none of them are going to have the courage to fight like Donald Trump has. All right, got to take a break here. 844-747-8868.
That's our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. By the way, we've got the story up on our website. Got to go check that out over at ToddStarns.com. MyPillow is celebrating its 20-year anniversary with over 80 million MyPillows sold.

So look, there's a difference between being brought up on criminal charges and doing things. Like, for example, I think it was shown how he was in the White House and didn't do anything while things were going on. He should have come out more forcefully. Of course that. But to try to criminalize that, that's a different issue entirely.
And I think that we want to be in a situation where, you know, you don't have one side just constantly trying to put the other side in jail. And that, unfortunately, is what we're seeing now. All right, that was Ron DeSantis just a few moments ago talking about Trump. And by the way, the guy's completely off base. Again, the question is, did Trump do something criminally?
Even Ron DeSantis said there was nothing criminal that happened. Period. That's it. You may not like what the president said, how he said it. Fine.
That's somewhat subjective, sir. The question here is whether or not he committed a criminal act. And even Ron DeSantis says Trump did nothing criminal here. And by the way, he did do something. He came out.
He went before the cameras. By the way, before all of that, during the speech, he told people to protest peacefully.
So you may not like the way he said it or how he expressed himself. But the fact of the matter is Donald Trump did what he should have done. All right. Oh, by the way, before we go to the phones, Nikki Haley is also weighing in. Let's take a listen.
It's going to keep on going. I mean, the rest of this primary election is going to be, in reference to Trump, is going to be about lawsuits. It's going to be about legal fees. It's going to be about judges. And it's just going to continue to be a further and further distraction.
And that's why I am running, is because we need a new generational leader. We can't keep dealing with this drama. We can't keep dealing with the negativity. We can't keep dealing with all of this. We've got China that's literally trying to be at war with us.
You've got Iran building a bomb. You've got North Korea detaining a soldier and testing ballistic missiles. We need to focus on the debt and the lack of transparency in schools and crime and the craziness on the border. We can't be sitting there focused on lawsuits over and over again. And so, you know, when it comes to the debate, what I'll say is, you know, we can't complain.
So here's what Nikki Haley is saying. is that it's just too much drama, too much drama. You need to pick me because the Democrats are going to love me. The mainstream media is going to love me. I'll be on the cover of Vogue magazine, and they'll say I'm pretty, and I know how to dress right.
Woo-hoo! Think again, ma'am. Think again. You've got an R behind your name. It's open season on people with R's behind their names.
All right, let's go to the phones here. 844-747-8868. let's go to Dennis in Buffalo, New York. Hi, Dennis. What's on your mind?
Well, I just kind of support Donald Trump. No retreat, no surrender. We should stand with him. People like Nikki Haley, they are a distraction. They're creating distraction, you know, instead of backing Donald Trump.
The Republicans are causing their own distractions. All right. Well, Dennis, I appreciate that call, and thank you for listening. Let's go to Chris in North Carolina, WSIC. Hi, Chris.
What say you? Thank you, Todd, for taking my call.
Well, what I say is for those of us that's been doing everything we could do since 9-11, we've listened to the Republicans. I'm telling you, Todd, the Republicans are behind this. If Donald Trump does not run for president, I will not vote for any of the rest of them. And I'm speaking for many, many, many people. And people can get mad about that all they want.
We've been doing everything they say in our world has went to hell in a handbasket. And all the friends of your show, so to speak, like Jim Jordan and them, they're not your friends if they'll stand by and let this happen. And that's all I have to say. All right, well, Chris, appreciate the call. I don't think Jim Jordan is just standing there.
I mean, he's trying to do something. But the reality is the leadership, and I would say Kevin McCarthy specifically, is anti-Trump. And I know that he's been down to Mar-a-Lago. I know he's kissed the ring. But I think behind the scenes, he's spitting on Trump.
By the way, why haven't we seen a single impeachment hearing? Why is that? Has Merrick Garland not done anything that warrants impeachment at this point? I mean, we're talking about a Justice Department gone rogue, ladies and gentlemen. I mean, this really is, it's just, it's criminal enterprise at its worst.
Meanwhile, if you want to go smoke crack, head over to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Let's go to Patty in North Carolina. Hi, Patty. What's on your mind?
Hey, Todd, you know what? I will never abandon that man. I don't care. He could be in jail. I'll be right in there with him.
I don't care. This guy don't need this. He could walk away anytime, but he's not doing that. He's the only one that is sticking up for the American people. People don't see this.
People better wake up because he's right. If we lose in 2024, you can kiss this country goodbye. Patty, I am gravely concerned about the future of this country without Donald Trump in that White house i am too i mean i i mean i'm getting up there i mean i'm 63 right now todd but oh you're young you're a spring chicken but i worry about my grandkids i worry about you know what the democratic party and it's not even the democratic party at least you know where they're coming from it's the republicans they're the ones that stare me more i guarantee you mitch mcconnell all these establishment types they are lock in step with the democrats here and that's why you're not going to see anybody get punished because they want merrick garland to go after donald trump they want they want this guy in jail that is the end game here and sooner or later we're going to get ourselves you watch what's going to happen patty he's going to go before one of these judges with the indictments and the judge is going to be a leftist and they will throw trump in jail i don't know you're right and when that happens i i don't know uh that is not going to be a good thing neither and another thing i just want to throw with a nikki haley thing you know what nikki you know what you want who you want uh you know what we all should be re you know you re we should be uniting not go against each other and you know what she's a warmonger she's not going nowhere her asa hutchinson chris christie they're not going nowhere let me tell you that go back to south carolina go bake some cookies and shut your mouth all right patty good advice thank you for calling in uh by the way here what Tripp writes on our Facebook live stream Todd as well as he should be if Trump is found guilty on all charges he thinks he is above the law. People died on January 6th because of him.
Well, that's just simply not true. The only person who died on J6 was, in fact, an America First patriot who was shot and killed by Capitol Police. gotta make sure you come armed with your facts even our even on our facebook live page folks gotta do it uh let's go to north carolina joe on the line hi joe what's what say you well i'm gonna make a few people mad here uh but the bottom line is the average american is way too soft. They are extremely too privileged. They have it too easy.
And they have to have, in order for us to change our government, they have to have some skin in the game. And that's what Donald is actually doing right now. He is actually taking all the shots that they're throwing at him. He has to take these shots in order for people, the average person, to see what's behind the curtains, okay?
Now, most of the people that are probably listening to your voice and to my voice and to this channel and your program nationwide, most of those people already know that.
So this is what we as listeners and what I would say somewhat educated people have to do is we have to educate others that maybe aren't listening to your show and aren't listening to Tucker Carlson, aren't listening to other programs that are out there. They're just going through the motion of life and they're just, oh, well, I can't control anything. I can't do anything about it, so I'll just let it slide. You cannot have that kind of attitude and this nation survive. You must have some skin in the game.
You must see what's going on behind the scenes, behind the curtains, and that's what Donald is doing. It's not comfortable for him to do what he's doing, but he has to do it. I'm not saying, I'm not even trying to, I'm just using this as an example. Jesus had to go through all the things that he went through for people to see. Donald is doing the same thing.
Not that he's anything like Jesus. I'm just saying the example is what I'm, you know, trying to get across. We've got to wake up. We've got to see it in front of us. And the people that are what I call low information voters have to see it.
And they've got to feel a little bit of the sting in order to have some skin in the game. Does that make sense? No, it does make sense, Joe. And I've often said that the most educated voters in America are talk radio listeners. And, you know, we talk a lot about stuff on this program, but we come armed with facts and information, and we share that on our website.
And we do that, Joe, so that listeners can take that information and they can share it with their friends, with their coworkers. And, folks, I would encourage you, as Joe pointed out, if you've got a low-information voter in your family, tell them to listen to the show. They're going to have a good time. They're going to get a laugh or two. But maybe, just maybe, they're going to wake up and understand what's really going on in this country and why we have to take a stand.
Joe, we have to take a break. Appreciate that call. 844-747-8868 is our telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show.

All right, folks, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio program. Good to have you with us.
So, oh, what was it, about a week or so ago, we first told you about this great American patriot. Her name is Misha Maynor, and she has been a Democrat for a very long time, representing the 56th District there in the Georgia State House, and announced that she is switching her party registration to Republican. And all you know what has broken loose in the beautiful state of Georgia.
So let's go right now to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. It is an honor to have State Representative Misha Maynard with us. Welcome to the program. Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate it.
Well, I'm excited to hear your story, and I'm curious to know what was it that finally convinced you, You know what? It's time for a change. You know, it was not an overnight decision. I've been down at the Capitol for three years now. From the moment I walked through the door, I was not their pick.
My first campaign, I would say maybe 20 or so elected officials endorsed my opponent, and I won. And so when I got into the Capitol, they made it clear that I was not their choice and that they were never going to work with me. Over the next three years, every single bill, anything I try to do for my community, it was just let's try to sabotage it to the point where they started putting up thousand dollar checks so people would run against me. And I think it just was a culmination of all of those things that led to the decision. And at the end of the day, life is short.
The Republicans have always been very helpful. We share values on lots of things like public safety and education.
So it just was a smart decision for me and my community. You know, we base our show in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, and we're controlled by Democrats here. And we have been for generations. And the school system is in horrible condition. Crime is off the charts.
And really there has not been an emphasis placed on families and helping to build strong families here.
So I see exactly where you're coming from on all of this. You know, families are so important, especially our children. I don't know how things are in your community in that greater Memphis area. But in Atlanta, the schools that I represent, at times there are 2% of the students are meeting math proficiency. 3% are meeting reading proficiency.
So we're in an era of AI, right? Chat, GPP. If people cannot read, how are you going to get a job, right? And Goldman Sachs just came out with a study that said 300 million jobs are going to be lost in the next 10 years. That is not your job, per se, right?
It's going to be the people that have low education that are going to be losing their jobs. And so we're putting America in a place where it's not going to be able to sustain unless we fix our educational system. I don't know if you remember another Democrat, another great Democrat in Georgia was the governor, became a senator, and he created a national firestorm when he left the Democrat Party. And to his point, his name is Zell Miller. And Zell Miller said, and you said something very similar to what he said, the Democrat Party has left me.
I haven't changed. They've changed. You know, someone said on my social media, I worked for John Lewis when I was up in D.C. in his D.C. office.
They said John Lewis would be rolling, is rolling in his grave right now, and may he rest in peace. My response was the Democrat Party in the 60s is not the Democrat Party today.
So sorry about my background, but the Democrat Party in the 60s is not the Democrat Party from today. And until we get back to values of families, educating our children, keeping our community safe, we have a problem. And right now, the Republican Party is focusing on those issues. And as a result of that, I understand you have received just a mountain of racist hate mail. I have, and they are from Democrats.
and you think Democrats are a party of tolerance. They did not tolerate me, if you will, when I was with them. They are not tolerating me when I'm not with them.
So to say you're a party of inclusion, you only are inclusive to a select few people and children that can't read are not a part of that agenda.
Well, I know here in Memphis on Thursday, a large group of black citizens getting together, forming their very first Republican club. And I think it's exciting to see people finally waking up and realizing, wait a second, there is another path. There is another way forward.
Now, is this already happening? Yeah, it's happening on Thursday in Memphis, Tennessee. If they are listening, tell them to reach out to me. I would love to help support them in any way I can.
Well, that's great to know. We will definitely do that, Representative. I know we've got your content information, and we will make that happen.
Well, welcome. And I'm fairly sure we disagree on a lot of other things, but we can agree that this is a great nation, and we've got to do our part to raise up that next generation of American patriots. Absolutely. And please send your listeners to MishaMainer.com to help me fight this cause. We will definitely do that.
And, Representative, we've got a break for the top of the hour news.
So God bless you and best of luck and welcome to the Republican Party. Thank you so much. Have a great day. All right. State Representative Misha Mainer from Georgia.
And, you know, she did say something about this is not the same Democrat Party as the 1960s. Actually, I think it is. I think that part, the Democrat Party of the 1960s was racist and they wanted to stop blacks from having the right to vote. They wanted to deny civil rights. It was the Republican Party back in the 1960s that actually stood up and took a stand.

I love this American ride. All right. Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Todd Starnes Show. Hope you're doing well today.
So did you catch the all-new primetime lineup at Fox News Channel? Very interesting what happened last night. And we're going to get into that a little bit later on this hour. But Jesse Waters making his big debut at the 8 o'clock hour and causing a bit of controversy. And it really wasn't Jesse Waters causing the controversy.
It was actually his mother. And I want to play some audio here. This is fascinating.
So Jesse Waters, at the end of his show, invited his mother, who is a known Democrat, a radical leftist, to come onto the program. No, I don't know if she's a radical leftist. She's a Democrat. And anyway, here's how all of that went. Again, this is the guy who replaced Tucker Carlson.
This is the guy who is going to be the standard bearer for the conservative movement in America on Fox News Channel. Cut number one. We have a very special guest on the line, a Democrat, my mom. Mom, how have you? Hello there, Mom.
How have you enjoyed the show so far? I have enjoyed the show. I want to say congratulations, Honeybun. We are so proud of you and your accomplishments. and you've worked so hard.
Now let's aim to have you keep your job. And to that end, I do have some suggestions.
Okay. Do not tumble into any conspiracy rabbit holes. We do not want to lose you, and we want no lawsuits.
Okay. Okay? In keeping, I have a list here. In keeping with the Hippocratic oath, do no harm. We need you to be kind and respectful.
You yourself mentioned that humble is a stretch, so I get that. Use your voice responsibly to promote conversation that maintains a narrative thread. there there really has been enough biden bashing and the laptop is old perhaps you could suggest that your people take less interest for example in other people's bodies and talk about that all right so there you go uh that's part one of what mother waters had to say to little jesse on national television and then she comes back she was not finished and here's mother waters cut number 13 talking about Donald Trump you could suggest that your people take less interest for example in other people's bodies and talk about that we're trying to keep other people's interest away from children's bodies that was the point of that segment mom I love you wait wait wait Wait, wait, wait. I knew this was a bad idea. I want you to seek solutions versus fanning the flames.
You could encourage that Bedminster friend of yours to return to his earlier career on television. Everyone in his audience could wear a red hat. And I'm sure the ratings would soar, although never as high, my darling, as yours on Jesse Waters' primetime. Good luck. Thank you very much, Mom.
I love you very much. I love you. I'm thinking that a small dinner between 5 and 8 would be the way to go. This is just like how things are at home. I love it.
Goodbye. Goodbye. All right. So that's the replacement show for Tucker Carlson. Did it work for you, ladies and gentlemen?
Did you watch Jesse's show? And what did you think about this whole Mother Waters episode? And I don't know if this is going to be a regular thing. Maybe he's going to invite his liberal mother on to talk about the issues of the day. And a lot of people are like, well, why didn't Jesse push back?
Why didn't Jesse defend the honor of conservatives and the viewers? Why didn't, I mean, again, the mother comes out there, Mother Waters comes out and on Little Jesse's show, and she's attacking Fox News viewers, the America First movement, anybody who wears a MAGA hat. She attacked Tucker Carlson, throwing shade on Tucker, and she didn't even have the courage to actually mention Donald Trump by name, calling him that Bedminster friend of yours. And a lot of people are saying, well, wait a second. Why didn't Jesse?
Why didn't he speak out?
Well, the answer is very simple. You cannot back talk your mother, especially on national television, which to me leads to the broader question. Who in their right mind thought that was a good idea? Who thought it was a good idea to put a raging liberal on Jesse Waters' program in a position where he was not able to push back? Or maybe, just maybe, just maybe, this is the direction that Fox News has chosen to go.
Maybe this is where Fox is wanting to lead their audience to a more moderate place. But I'm curious to get your take on that. Look, I mean, it was okay. The overall show was okay. Is it actually, though, is that the show that brought Tucker Carlson fame and fortune and brought astronomical ratings to Fox News Channel?
And I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that. But again, I mean, you can't fault Waters for not backtalking his mom. If I had been the executive producer of that show, there's no way I would have allowed that to happen. And I think that's the problem is that they fired all the good executive producers. They're out of the building now.
We heard from Chadwick Moore yesterday, writing the book about Tucker, that the rest of that 8 o'clock hour, all of the staff, now just think about this, all of the staff that made the 8 o'clock hour the number one hour on the network got fired. Frog marched out of the building. Those are the words from Chadwick Moore yesterday on this program. Frog marched out of the building. So anyway, I'm curious to know if, I mean, is Jesse Waters, do you believe that he can carry the flag of freedom at Fox News?
844-747-8868 is our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. Let's go to the phones here. Lou in Georgia. Thank you for listening to WDUN.
And, Lou, I know you want to talk about President Trump. What's on your mind?
Yes, sir, I did. But I also saw that on Jesse Waters yesterday. And I was hoping that she would hurry up and get off. She wouldn't quit talking. Boy, she was a talker.
Yeah, because I just had walked in the house and it was on. And I was like, man, you know, come on. Because he always reads text messages at the end of his show. And I sure didn't want to hear her, you know, because she is a liberal. Lou, I am curious, though.
I am curious to learn how Jesse became who he is today growing up in a childhood with that being spewed at you every day. I don't know. I've seen him off and on, and he's always brought his mom up. And mom's a liberal, always mom. But yet he would always bash Juan when Juan was on there.
I think Juan finally left. Juan sounded more conservative than the mother did. Y'all didn't he, didn't he? Oh, yeah. Maybe they put her on the five.
Yeah.
Okay. But what I was calling about Donald Trump, you know, every time we had a rally, there was never no trouble. We was like the police. The police was backing us up. We had the military guys, you know, the good guys.
And, you know, all the rallies were clean. I watched them. No, it was no trouble. Then all of a sudden on January 6th, just something just went wrong. That wasn't us.
And that's all I, you know, that's what I was wanting to tell you about, you know. It is, you know, no, Lou, I know exactly what you're talking about. I was honored to speak at two Trump rallies. And you're right. I mean, when people leave, they clean up after themselves.
Everybody's always in a joyful mood, a good spirit. And what happened on January the 6th, that just, I know a lot of people were wearing the MAGA hats, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were MAGA supporters. I mean, maybe they were, I just, it's not the same crowd. And you see that, and I see that.
So, again, I don't condone any sort of violence. I never have. And I suspect you haven't either, Lou.
So my concern is, who were those people, and what was really going on that day? And I think that it goes a lot deeper when he hired that Chris Beret. I think it laughed among themselves to who he was. They know who he was, but, you know, poor Donald Trump didn't know who he was. Yeah.
You know, Lou, that's a good observation you have there. And yeah, I mean, look, and Trump has admitted, I think he was, it was the Maria Bartiromo interview where he acknowledged that, yeah, I mean, he made mistakes in his cabinet and he can't make those mistakes. If he gets back to the White House, he's going to have to have solid people around him. Not a lot of these grifters. Lou, appreciate that call.
now john wants to weigh in on jesse waters listening to us on whkp hi john what's up hey todd good afternoon hope you're doing well sir i am thank you for asking yes thank you thank you for taking my call todd um i just have a just a little comment um i've watched uh fox news for many many years actually since 2000 in the days of bill o'reilly and so forth and and of course you were there as well. But this thing with Jesse Waters, he is a misfit for that program. Jesse Waters does not belong in prime time. I think he's a smart aleck. I think he's cocky.
And I do not think he is the person that can project what we as conserved his need in this country. It was the wrong decision. He's the wrong person. And that's how I feel. I just can't take him so i i like jesse and and we i would say we were friends um you know i mean work friends definitely um and and i think that he is being misserved here i don't think that he you're right he is a he's a smart aleck and that's how he made his bones and by the way the new guy they have doing those things out on the street that guy's cringe cringe yeah yeah he is and and the thing about it is he's trying to be a bill o'reilly type yeah the way he his mannerisms his hands the way he talks the way he puts people down and it just doesn't cut it i'm not saying that jesse isn't fit for something i'm not saying he's a bad guy he's just in the wrong place to be at prime time on fox news yeah no completely accurate there they should have kept him where he was it was a fine enough show a strong lead-in to prime time uh but it's he's not ready he is not the right fit there uh john appreciate that call let's go to our good buddy the owner of nougat radio mike hey mike what's going on my friend todd where did you push a button today you hit on the problem with america my mom god rest her soul little italian lady who would always try to come to my arrest you whether I was right or wrong.
I'd say, knock it off. And would always defend liberalism. Love Bill Clinton because he looked good. Love Bill Clinton. He loved Bill Clinton.
Like, really? And I've narrowed it down. And I would come home and go, you know, we either need to smash these schools down with, you know, sledgehammers or send me somewhere else. I can't believe I don't have choices to where I go to school. I'm going to this government public prison.
Get me out of there. And they think I'm nuts.
So they're the crazy ones. And let me tell you, I've got three girls and a wife. And I'm going to tell you what the problem is. And it's going to make people mad. And quite frankly, I don't care.
Women should never have had the right to vote. What? That's the problem. That's right. Oh, my.
Women should never. Because they vote with emotion. They vote. Women could be sold anything. And she'll buy it.
Oh, really? Let's feed the children. Why don't they move to a place where they grow food? We won't have to feed them. They can feed themselves.
No, let's not do that. No, they tend to make stupid decisions politically. And if people don't like that, I'll give you my personal number in debate. That's the facts. If worldly men were to vote, no liberal would ever get it.
And the same thing, I'm not saying all women are like that, because I think there are women that are much smarter. Yeah, I don't think you can, like, paint with a broad brush here, and I really wish you wouldn't, Mike, for my sake. Because I get the calls. I have to clean up this mess. By the way, I'm being facetious.
Obviously, women should ever write the vote. I'm trying to, you know, irk some people to just get them to think as to why stop voting with emotions. You know, obviously, I've got three girls and a wife. I don't really think women should ever write the vote. But what I'm saying is if you're just going to use emotions and not reason, logic, and common sense, why are you voting?
Why aren't you critically thinking?
Now, that is a great question. And even when you talk about the soccer moms and how you've got to appeal to these so-called soccer moms out there, and they were all upset because they didn't like Trump being a man or I don't know what it was. But I see your point there. But the reality is we've got to settle down and we've got to understand all of us, hey, look, we are in the fight of our life for our country. And Mike, if they can come after Donald Trump and throw him in jail, they can come after any one of us.
Todd, women are saving the country, oddly enough. Oddly enough, women are saving the country. They're tired of their children being abused. They're running for office. They're standing out.
So I was just being facetious and making a point that when people like his mother and like my mother, who did a lot of We need jerk reacting to liberalism. We just need to protect people. You know, I was thinking, Mom, why are you voting? Please stop voting. Please stop.
Because you're hurting us. You're not critically thinking. Mike, I'm going to go and pour myself a drink and then take the calls that will be coming in. But no, I appreciate. Oh, Mike.
Oh, I appreciate you, Mike. I just deeply appreciate you. All right. Thanks, Mike. uh okay let me say this without moms of liberty out there uh i don't think that our schools would be savable i i mean if you're looking at being able to salvage american public schools it's going to be on moms for liberty that's what that's going to be about all right we got to take a break here 844-747-8868 that's 844-747-8868 this is the todd starns show when i grow up i want to work for a woke company like super woke when i grow up when i grow up i want to be hired based on what i look like rather than my skills i want to be judged by my political beliefs i want to get promoted based on my chromosomes when i grow up i want to be offended by my co-workers and walk around the office on egg shells and have my words policed by hr words like grandfather peanut gallery.
Long time no see. No can do. When I grow up, I want to be obsessed with emotional safety and do workplace sensitivity training all day long. When I grow up, I want to climb the corporate ladder just by following the crowd. I want to be a conformist.
I want to weaponize my pronouns. What are pronouns? It's time to grow up and get back to work. Introducing the number one woke free job board in America, red balloon dot work. all right uh hello everybody good uh have you back with us so yeah so look i i mean a lot of folks and and i'm one of them have made the switch to newsmax and i i love newsmax you're doing a great job um but you know you hate to see fox news just completely unravel and that what happening right now but to let jesse waters mom come on Fox News Channel during the 8 o hour and personally attack Donald Trump and his supporters and Tucker Carlson while defending Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, that's beyond the – I just don't get that.
Who thought that would be a great idea? It sounds like one of the Murdoch brothers may be executive producing the show. I don't know, but we're going to find out. I'll tell you that much. All right.

Let's go to beautiful Jackson, Tennessee. Brian is listening to us on WTJS today. Hi, Brian. I know you want to weigh in on Jesse Waters. What's on your mind?
Well, Jesse Waters, to me, I don't know much about the guy, but I do feel like he's not a deep state swamp creature. No, no, he's not. He was on the five feet. And the way I judge these media people is if they're willing and brave enough to talk about the true nature of the elite politicians such as Barack Obama. it was last month that Jesse Waters got in a little hot water for saying, kind of question Obama's actual perspective as far as it being an American perspective.
He basically grew up in Kenya and Indonesia his whole life, didn't spend a lot of time in the States. Then he supposedly went to college in Hawaii and spent a lot of time there. Of course, you know about the shooting gang and all that.
So to me, Jesse Waters, just the fact that he's willing to expose somebody like Barack Obama for being a fraud, that to me, I mean, I'll support Jesse Waters because I think the Obamas are going to come back into the spotlight here when the big guy starts to fade and they have to get rid of him. We might see Michelle Obama come in and be the nominee for the Democrats.
So we've got to get re-educated on who the Obamas are.
So I look, I think that's fair enough. And and Brian, you know, when you when you look at who's running the show, the fact that Barack Obama, the only president in an American history who did not leave Washington, D.C. after his presidency. And so that tells us that they're running things behind the scenes. And we know that Obama's been meeting with the radical progressives, AOC and the squad.
So you better believe his tentacles, his communist tentacles are all over of this.
So no doubt about it. Brian, appreciate that call. Thank you for listening to us. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Our good friend, Congressman Pat Fallon, joins us this afternoon from the great state of Texas, representing the 4th Congressional District.
Congressman, I know you guys are super busy this week, and thank you for joining us today. Todd, thanks for having me on. You, as I always say, are a great American. Congressman, I want to get your take on the news that came out earlier today. President Trump now bracing for a third indictment, this time with regard to whatever happened on J6.
How concerned are you, and what are you concerned about?
Well, you know, of course we're concerned about a two-tier justice system, which we'll probably get into a little bit more in this call time. But, I mean, how many more times have they been going to indict this poor guy? You know, it's a good thing he's a tough hombre, because this would melt a weaker man. And it just goes to show you the polarization in this country and the weaponization of the justice system by the liberal Marxist slash communist. I mean, it's something that should be alarming to every American, and it's very chilling.
It is. And unfortunately, I'm not sure that members of our own party are really understanding what's at stake here. And I heard a congressman or a governor, Ron DeSantis, a few moments ago talking about how, you know, Trump did nothing criminal, but he should have done more. He talks about how, you know, they've done him wrong. And and, you know, the the whole collusion thing was was awful.
No, it wasn't awful. It was criminal. I mean, they tried to sabotage and then overthrow a duly elected president. And I think we have to really focus on that component of the story. There's no doubt about it.
I mean, it was an absolute hoax. There was no collusion. And yet they were like, when I talked to President Trump personally on this, I remember it when I were in Florida a couple years ago. He looked at me in the eye and he said, Pat, he accused my son, he was talking about shift. He accused my son of treason.
Treason. You know, the ultimate penalty for treason is death.
So this is really serious business. And when you know someone's lying about you, you can never believe a word that comes out of their mouth moving forward. This isn't just to gain votes. This is about maintaining power and doing it by any means necessary. And as you just said, Todd, criminally if necessary.
This is what they're willing to do. Congressman, I know that you guys have the House Oversight hearing with the FBI whistleblowers, but that's coming up Wednesday. When you look at the weaponization of the federal government, and when you look at what Merrick Garland and Biden's DOJ is doing to Trump right now, do you anticipate, I know we're going to get to the bottom of it, but is anybody going to pay a price for any of this? i certainly hope so because what we're uncovering i mean think about this touch if we didn't have a majority in the house think of the things that we would not have discovered when we don't have subpoena power we wouldn't have ever known about the 1023 we wouldn't have been able to get these bank records i mean traditionally congressional members when asked uh when at when we request access to a suspicious activity report which is something that's generated by law by financial institutions when they suspect, say, money laundering, sexual trafficking fraud, things of that nature. Anytime a member of Congress wanted to see one, they were granted access, but not this time, because the Bidens have generated somewhere in the neighborhood of 170 suspicious activity reports.
So for two years, we didn't have access. We only got that when we had subpoena power, so they finally relented. We wouldn't have known these things. If the oversight committee wasn't being run by Republicans in the last six months, we wouldn't have discovered so many things. We've uncovered, if we had this discussion six months ago, I would have been able to tell you that we know of a million dollars in payment by foreign nationals to the Biden family syndicate.
Now I can tell you it's $20 million for sure, probably closer to $50 million, but we wouldn't have gained it.
So, you know, we need to continue to dig because after that 1023, I might I might not quite have the smoking gun yet to link Joe Biden directly to all this, but I'm smelling the gunpowder.
Well, I hope that there is gunpowder, and I hope there is evidence. And again, looking at the broader picture here, this goes back to the FBI, again, sabotaging the last presidential election when they sequestered the Hunter Biden laptop story, and they tried to bury that story. they tried to say it was not true when in fact they knew it was true after all. Again, that could be construed as interfering with another presidential election. There's no doubt.
I mean, you know, sometimes the old tactics by the Clintons and trial lawyers is deny, deny, counter-accuse, right? And then accuse somebody of exactly what you did yourself, and then try to take the limelight away and, you know, use it as a distraction. And that's what they've done. They're just going out of the same old playbook. And we have got to push back because all I want, honestly, Todd, I'm just about justice.
We're, you know, me and Jimmy Comer, the chairman of the Oversight Committee, have talked extensively on one of his subcommittee chairs about simply going where the evidence leads us. If there's no evidence, then we'll get off this. And Joe Biden and Hunter Biden could have ended this investigation two years ago by simply sharing their bank records and answering questions, you know, under oath. But they refused to do either, and they've lawyered up because they have something to hide. It's clear.
I believe in a court of law, and I'm not an attorney, thankfully, but I could prove preponderance of the evidence right now. That threshold, easily. And we're nearing reasonable doubt at this point. Congressman Pat Fallon is on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, a member of the House Oversight Committee. That big hearing coming up tomorrow with the FBI whistleblowers.
Congressman, has been going back to President Trump, and I think Nikki Haley just a few moments ago, she said, you know what, this is too much drama, too many distractions, we need to move on. Do you think that's the right course of action, or should we stand and fight this? Because my concern is, if they're going to do it to Trump, you know they're going to do it to whoever our nominee is. There's no doubt about it. I could not disagree with the former South Carolina governor more because I think what she that's just real politic for her the more this goes on the more sympathetic people are to President Trump because they understand that they politicize and weaponize the DOJ and specifically the FBI and the IRS I mean for instance we've got testimony that we'll hear tomorrow in the oversight committee not only from the Gary but also another whistleblower in the IRS that will both testify under oath with their careers at stake.
And if they're lying under oath, they could be criminally charged. They're saying that when they were out, they were going to go question Hunter Biden. And they were very upset that the FBI headquarters notified the Secret Service and the Biden transition, presidential transition team, that they were going to want to question Hunter. Then furthermore, they were ordered to sit outside his home and only ask him questions if he were to approach them. What subject does that?
Wow.
So he never, of course, went to them, so they didn't get to ever ask him any questions. And in their decades of experience, they have never had those kind of rules of engagement. Can you imagine what a different series law and order would be if the cops had to wait to discuss something with a suspect until the suspect approached them? It's outrageous. Just outrageous.
I'm pulling my hair out. All right. Congressman, we're going to have to leave it there. Don't pull your hair out just yet. But tomorrow we're going to be watching and listening to the hearing.
And this is going to be pretty fascinating stuff, folks.
So you're going to want to check this out. We will have live coverage during our program tomorrow. Congressman, always appreciate you coming on the program. Thanks, Pat. We've got a lot of specific evidence and a lot of tough questions that we'll be asking that is going to convince any fair-minded person that where there's smoke, there's fire.
We've got about a minute. Do you want to share some of that before at least maybe one? All right, go for it. We've got some time. I would absolutely love to.
I mean, for instance, we've got an email. We all know about the WhatsApp that happened a couple of weeks ago with Hunter saying, you know, I'm sitting right here with my father. We'd like to understand why you haven't paid us. We're going to hold a grudge forever, that kind of thing. But the one that really intrigued me after reading the 1023, which was the FBI informant who was highly reliable, according to their own description, they paid hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Everything that he's ever told them is checked out. He's having this direct conversation with Vladimir Solchevsky, the head of Burisma. And so Chesky says that he refers to Joe Biden as the big guy. He says that he paid him the five million to Hunter and to Joe. But then there's another email between some folks from Burisma and Hunter Biden.
And they specifically say that and I'll quote the last line of this email that they want Ukrainian top officials above with the ultimate purpose to close down any cases or pursuits against Nikolai, meaning Burisma in Ukraine. And then Hunter's response is, I feel comfortable with that and the ability for us to deliver.
So go ahead and sign their contract.
So he specifically has been asked to get the dogs off of Burisma. And that was Victor Shokin, who was the prosecutor. And who got Victor Shokin fired, Todd? Joe Biden, his dad. He did deliver.
So what are we talking about here? We've got definitive proof that that's what they wanted. And that's what Joe Biden gave them. Wow.
Wow.
All right, Congressman, it's going to be a great hearing tomorrow. We can't wait to see the rest of what you guys have uncovered. And again, we appreciate you coming on the show today. Thanks, Todd. God bless.
Take care. All right, folks, got to take a quick break. We'll be right back. Are you looking for more in this world? Are you ready for something bigger?

One of the big rock concerts, or what is it, Taylor Swift is out there, and Beyonce, and all these other folks. Brian Adams doing a concert out in Salt Lake City. And he's up there doing his show. And some moron jumps up out of the arena and jumps up onto the stage and takes the microphone away from poor Brian Adams. And that guy starts singing along.
And apparently this has been like a big issue now where a lot of these artists are either having to dodge things that are being thrown at them. Harry Styles got knocked upside the eyeball with somebody threw something at Harry Styles.
So what is going on here? I mean, it used to be where you would go to a concert and you'd have a good time and you'd have fun with your friends and whatever. But now it's like the whole point is trying to knock out the singer on stage. And then there's Miranda Lambert. And I just, I don't get this one.
So Miranda Lambert, country music singer. She's got a bit of an attitude, and she's got a bit of a reputation. I think she dumped a salad over somebody's head in a restaurant once in Nashville. You can Google it. It was a thing.
No, I think it was just a garden salad, Dylan. I don't know. But it may have had radishes in it. I mean, that could have hurt somebody.
So anyway, Miranda Lambert's very upset because there was a group of ladies, and I'm trying to understand the arena setup because it looked like they were in maybe some sort of a suite or some sort of a box. And they were having their picture made. They were doing a selfie. And so the girls were there, and then Miranda Lambert was in, like, the middle of the picture in the background. And the ladies here who were taking the picture are now the focus of a national conversation, a national debate about behavior at these big concerts.
So Miranda Lambert actually, well, here's what happened. Take a listen. Cut to. I'm going to stop right here for a sec, Danny. I'm sorry.
These girls are worried about the selfie and not listening to the song. It's pissing me off a little bit. I don't like it. I'm here to hear some country music tonight. I'm singing some country music.
Shall we start again? All right. So people were upset at, I mean, some people were upset at the girls for taking a selfie, and others were actually upset at Miranda Lambert for calling them out. And it's really interesting. I'm not a huge fan of these kinds of concerts.
I just haven't been in a long time. And I'm curious to hear your take on this, because Miranda Lambert says, you know, people are coming to hear the concert. And I get that, but it's not like they were interrupting her or they were blocking somebody's view. They were just taking a selfie. A lot of people are going after Miranda Lambert and they say, who do you think you are?
These people paid a ticket to come to the concert, so they should be able to take a selfie. And I get it. A lot of people are saying, well, this was a sentimental song. And it was kind of, I mean, it was kind of sentimental. Dylan, you go to, I mean, you're a music guy.
Who's in the right here? I think the girls taking the selfie are in the right, obviously. I mean I really don't get the whole I don't get why you would get upset at this moment It's all about me Stop your selfies You should be photographing me I mean you said the Taylor Swift concert It's like most of her concert Is people with their flashlight on Screaming It's like hours of screaming Yeah I don't know I don't get this Yeah I'm not either Maybe she was having a bad day maybe somebody dumped a salad on her head maybe someone like took a picture and flashed in her eyes before the concert maybe i didn't like ptsd or something i don't know i can't imagine like you know mini pearl or grandpa jones or some of the old school um you know country music artists getting upset about something like this it just seems it just seems so minor to me yeah and like the opposite of like what you would want at your show like people like the flash at their show people want people with their phones out like i don't it doesn't make any sense it's a little petty yeah and i'm wondering like in the future if i was the next crowd at a miranda lambert concert i would just file in sit quietly in your seat and wait for her to say okay it's it's all right to applaud now applaud me applaud me you urchins i bet she's gonna have an announcement for her before her next show to be like turn your silencers off no flash photography please No selfies. How dare you? Worship me.
All right. 844-747-8868 is our number. That's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show. Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch.
That's us, that's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah. All right.
Hello, everybody. Hour three of the big show underway. Hope you are doing great. Our telephone number, 844-747-8868. We will get to your calls in just a matter of moments.
That's 844-747-8868. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, starting off the hour with our good friend, my senator, from the great volunteer state, Senator Bill Haggerty. Senator, it's been a while. Hope you're doing good. I'm doing well, Todd.
It's always great to be on with you. Thank you. Senator, real quick, I know that you and Senator Marsha Blackburn are Trump supporters, and I would like to get your reaction to the breaking news that came out just a few hours ago that President Trump now facing a possible third indictment and arrest. You know, it just continues to go on. I think that this administration is doing everything they can to knock out the leading opponent in the 2024 presidential election.
It's unprecedented. We've never seen anything like this in America, where the Biden administration has essentially weaponized every aspect of the federal government. And I think the American public sees right through it, Todd. And what we've seen is President Trump's poll numbers go up as more and more of these antics from the Department of Justice, from local prosecutors. You know, they're trying everything they can to slow him down, to basically tie him up so that he can't run against Joe Biden in 2024.
I don't think it's going to work, but it's just shocking in the list to the American public to see this sort of thing manifest itself here. Senator, we appreciate your efforts within the Senate to get to the bottom of this government censorship and the relationships that the Biden administration, the Democrats have had with many of these big tech companies. And yet the Senate Democrats have actually blocked those efforts. What was the let's talk about the act and what was it meant to do this Disclose Government Censorship Act? It's about as light a touch as you could possibly imagine, Todd.
And if you think about the discussions about transparency that happen all the time here in Washington, all I've asked is for this White House, for this administration to disclose to the American public when they do reach out and work with big tech to shut down conversations and to censor American voices. It doesn't prescribe penalties, but it forces them to let us know when it's happening. If it weren't for a case that came through a federal judge in Louisiana, we would not know the extent of the collusion that's been taking place under this current administration. But what we found is case after case after case of administration officials. And these aren't all elected officials.
Some of them are bureaucrats. In fact, a lot of them are. But they're reaching out and working with law enforcement to silence opinions they disagree with. You know, the White House press shop may reach out and have people taken down off of the Internet just because they don't agree with a particular position or perspective that they are expressing. That's not the America that you and I grew up in, Todd.
An American public is certainly smart enough to know and assess for themselves what's true and what's not. We certainly don't need somebody in the White House working with some faceless person inside of the big tech organization to tell us. No, to your point, a couple of weeks ago, I was banned from Facebook, from YouTube, rather, permanently. They eliminated my account, and my crime was sharing a speech that President Trump had delivered. No commentary, no – they actually labeled the speech misinformation, and that was it.
Boom, I'm gone off of YouTube. And, you know, you try to be fair, right? You try to do good. You don't want to trigger anybody. But, I mean, just the idea of sharing a speech from a former president is going to get you kicked off of YouTube is just bizarre.
It's just totally beyond the pale. I think about my colleague Tom Cotton, who wrote in the New York Times about the likelihood. He didn't say it was a certainty, but the likelihood that the coronavirus emerged from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. Not only did they take him down, they took down the editor. They fired the editor that put that forward.
Now it's come out that that's probably the most likely cause of all of this. Yet I haven't heard an apology coming forward from anybody. I don't think anybody's job's been reinstated. It's just literally amazing that they're able to get away with this, and certainly not you, Todd. You're a respected member of the media, but there are so many in the media that just want to turn a blind eye to this, look the other way.
There's nothing to see here, and it's quite disturbing. It really is. On the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Line, Senator Bill Haggerty from Tennessee. Senator, this story has not gotten a lot of play, but it's an important story, and it involves the Foreign Relations Committee. I understand that you were leading your colleagues in sending a letter to the acting inspector general, and it's about an investigation involving the State Department and the special envoy for Iran.
What's going on here? What's the back story?
Well, I think there's a tremendous amount to be concerned about. We don't know what's going on. But I'll say this. This special envoy was appointed. He did not go through Senate confirmation.
He's been given access that is unbelievable in terms of his ability to go over. And I think, you know, to the detriment of American interest to go over and negotiate us back into a deal with Iran that was a bad deal in the first place under President Obama. I think President Trump wisely took us out of that deal. That was an insult to the Obama administration. This guy is from the Obama regime, and he's back with a vengeance, and they're willing to stop at nothing.
They'll give and give and give in terms of concessions to Iran. Look, Iran is the number one state sponsor of terror. And what they're talking about doing, and they've been looking the other way in terms of allowing them to sell petroleum products, but they are basically allowing the Iranian government to enrich itself to get more billions of dollars more in terms of funding. And that funding is going to be used against us. It's going to be used to perpetuate their nuclear arms program where they will basically hold the entire Middle East hostage.
And they're funding terror against Americans right now. This Rob Malley has been at the heart of these negotiations.
Now we find out that his security clearance has been pulled. He obviously shouldn't have been dealing with confidential information. They pulled a security clearance. They're investigating it right now. We need to know what the infraction was.
What did he show or tell outside of a classified environment that would have been detrimental to American interests? I shudder to think what that might have been, given the fact that his proximity to the Iranians, I just hate to think what he might have done, again, with the world's largest sponsor of terror.
So we're trying to get to the bottom of it. Again, we went to the inspector general because the State Department leadership has not been responsive to anything along these lines. We've got to hold them accountable, and that's what we're in the process of doing. It's incredibly troubling, and I'm a student of history, and I've been reading, you know, I've read a couple of books about the lead up to World War I and the lead up to World War II. And you look at what was happening in the world at the time.
And what troubles me and maybe I off base here Senator but I concerned when I look at what happening with China and the mistakes that this administration is making I think the mainstream media completely ignoring what I believe to be a very clear incredible threat to our nation and really to what could become a world war with China. I think you're absolutely on the right path. It's deeply concerning now, and as they say sometimes, history doesn't necessarily repeat itself, but it often rhymes. And I think we're getting right back to the same neighborhood again, where you've got, you know, elites looking the other way. Perhaps they're being enriched.
I mean, that's one of the things about this whole Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, you know, extortion story that, again, we have not gotten to the bottom two, but not reached anywhere close to where we need to in terms of, you know, the Biden family's connections with the Chinese Communist Party. it just is just very very concerning at so many levels that you've got a whole elite class here that just wants to look the other way there's no problem here with china but we know that china was the source of the virus and you know did everything they could not only to deflect and not let us know the cause which probably cost hundreds of thousands of lives but actually they shut down internal air traffic yet still allowed international flights to come to north america to go to Europe. And, you know, in fact, people in those countries, it's just incredible that we allow a spy balloon to float over our nation, that we allow them to hack our commerce secretary's website. And what do we do? We send over high level officials to get photo ops.
It's just out of way, way out of lines of any sort of reasonable diplomatic approach. And this administration is doing it. And I think what they're doing is marching us right down the road toward where you're looking. And Joe Biden is going to have us in the precipice of World War I think, you know, looking at history and looking at Capitol Hill, you know, the Senate has traditionally, historically been the deliberative body. I mean, you guys are taking things at a slower pace, and I think this is somewhat intentional.
That's what our founding fathers wanted to happen. And almost, I would say, you know, maybe not so much here lately, but, you know, politics, there's a little bit more working across the aisle. Are you seeing that, or is the Senate becoming much like the House of Representatives?
Well, it depends on the topic. When it comes to China, there actually is a great deal of bipartisan consensus. I got a bill passed in the Senate with all of my Democrat colleagues on board to shorten the timeline to get semiconductor manufacturing plants permitted in America. It's been up to five years to get these plants permitted right now. That makes us not competitive.
That's why we don't have any semiconductor plants here, because there's a multibillion dollar plants that require lots of water, energy, and chemicals, and those all require federal permits. We changed the permitting process. We took that five-year timeline down to 18 months. That makes us more competitive. And my Democrat colleagues agreed with that.
So on practical matters like that, we can get cooperation. But if it brings this Biden administration into the fold, they immediately go into protect and defend mode. And, you know, it's just been shocking to me to see what they will vote against, whether it's me trying to secure our border to stop fentanyl from coming across, whether it's me trying to force the White House to at least disclose when they're collaborating with big tech. I've had Democrats come to the floor and block me every time. All right.
Well, Senator, we appreciate your insight there and certainly disturbing times. And we appreciate your good work and, you know, guiding a lot of this important legislation through the Senate. Thank you so much, Todd. It's always wonderful to be with you. All right, Senator Bill Haggerty from the great state of Tennessee.
He is my senator, and he's doing a terrific job, along with Senator Marsha Blackburn. All right, folks, we're going to take a quick break here. A good friend of this program and really one of the great pioneers of Christian radio and Christian media and really a trailblazer, a gentleman by the name of Stu Epperson Sr. passed away.
He was 86 years old and now in glory. And we carry this program on several of the radio stations owned by his son, Stu Jr., who is really carrying on the mantle of the family ministry. Stu was the co-founder of Salem Media, and many of the folks you hear on the radio, Dennis Prager, Sebastian Gorka, Mike Gallagher, Charlie Kirk, you hear as a result of really the revolutionary experience that Stu brought to Christian radio, and especially to talk radio. And he was just an incredibly, incredibly wonderful man. I had a chance to meet him several times, and just as gracious as the day is long.
You would not realize that this man was a man of prominence when you met him. I mean, he was just a regular guy. He just treated everyone so, so well, and he has impacted millions of lives for the kingdom of God. But anyway, Stu was a member inducted into the NRB, the National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame. In 2005, Time magazine named him as one of the 25 most influential evangelicals in America.
and his contributions to Christian broadcasting are just remarkable, and we could probably spend the next three hours talking about those. But he was just a good and decent man. He loved God. He served God, and he volunteered so many charitable organizations. You folks listening to us on WSJS, he supported the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission, the Salem Pregnancy Care Center, the Christian Association of Youth Mentoring, and it is truly a great loss for Christian radio, but we know that Stu is broadcasting in glory now.
And we certainly want to pray, and I encourage you to pray for his wife Nancy, their four kids, and get this, 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. How about that?
So anyway, Stu Epperson, a great American patriot, a great Christian man, gone to glory. All right, let's go to the phones, 844-747-8868. Robert in North Carolina, listening to us on WSIC, wants to talk about the White House. Robert, what you got for us?
Well, I'm just telling you, I live here in a little town outside Hendersonville, North Carolina, Todd. but I'm telling you straight up I seen Donald Trump come by me down here and wave at me I ain't seen Joe Biden around this little town here you know and I'll tell you something else he's going to win this election again he is he's the only one who's going to steer us straight and if people don't believe that then you know they can do like Charlie Daniels tells them to do because that's where they're going to go if they can't You know, they can go straight there. They can, you know, go with Donald, man, because he's going to lead us back on the right path. I really believe that.
So you're still on board, Robert. You are still on board the Trump train, even if he gets indicted for a third time. Hey, I don't care. When I voted for him, I was a Democrat before that. And I ain't lying to you.
I voted for Obama, even. I didn't know anything. I started listening to Rush Limbaugh and you and people like you, and it brought me around to let me see what the demon crats are doing to us. And I don't call Asheville Asheville no more. You can imagine my pronunciation of that right now, because that's all they're about over there.
And I don't have no dealings with Asheville no more, and I used to love going over there and seeing the memorial monument and everything, and it ain't there no more. No, I went over there, Robert. I went over to Asheville several years ago, sat down, I ordered barbecue. The only barbecue they had on the menu was barbecue tofu. They had unsweet tea.
And in the park, there was actually a hippie drum circle. And there they were banging their bongos as a dog was howling at the moon. And I thought, sweet Lord Almighty, what has happened to Asheville, North Carolina?
So there you go. Robert, God bless you. Appreciate you. Hang in there. Robert is still on the Trump train, ladies and gentlemen What about you?
844-747-8868 That is our telephone number That's 844-747-8868 This is the Todd Starnes Show So Jason Aldean has a brand new song out, and it's causing a lot of controversy out there. I've listened to the song, and it's a great song. It's a terrific song. And there's a lot of truth in this song. You know, I'll give you an example of what I mean.
So the song is about small towns and how folks in the small towns won't put up with the kinds of things they put up with in the big cities. Do you know what I'm talking about? You know, here in Memphis, we have a lawless city. The Democrats just simply refuse to enforce the law. They handcuff the police.
They won't give the police the resources they need. And as a result, the criminals aren't stupid. I mean, they're running roughshod over everybody. As a matter of fact, a couple of days ago, a 12-year-old and his accomplices who were 15 and 16 years old, they carjacked a lady, stuck a gun in her face and stole her car. Yesterday, 10 people shot, a number of people killed on the streets of Memphis.
It's just lawlessness. People are afraid to go fill up their car because they might get carjacked. People are getting robbed. They're getting beaten in the streets. It's terrible.
And anyway, as a result of that, a lot of people are moving. They're selling their homes. They're selling their businesses. And they're moving to the country. Places like beautiful Tipton County, Tennessee, or DeSoto County, Mississippi, or Crittenden County in Arkansas.
We're in the tri-state area. You folks in New York City know what I'm talking about. You've got Jersey and Connecticut. We've got Arkansas and Mississippi. We've got the better end of the stick.
So anyway, Jason Aldean writes a song about this and talking about small towns. They don't put up with the riots. They don't put up with the lawlessness. It's not a good idea to disrespect the flag or law enforcement in a small town. You guys know what I'm talking about here.
So we're going to play this song, and I want you guys to listen to the lyrics because the left is triggered, and they're saying that Jason Aldean, who is a pretty conservative guy, is using racist dog whistles to complain about urban crime.
So let's listen to Jason Aldean's newest hit. Jason Aldean on the Todd Stern Show. Always wanted a DJ. We'll be right back. See how far you make it down the road Around here we take care of our own You cross that line, it won't take long For you to find out, I recommend you don't Try that in a small town Got a gun that my granddad gave me They say one day they're gonna round up Well that might fly in the city Good luck Try that in a small town See how far you make it down the road Around here we take care of our own You cross that line it won't take long For you to find out I recommend you don't Try that in a small town Full of good old boys Raised up right If you're looking for a fight Try that in a small town Try that in a small town Try that in a small town All right, there we go, ladies and gentlemen.
Jason Aldean on the Todd Starnes Radio Show, and Grace is working on getting Jason on the program. I love this song, and there's a lot of truth in this song. But the reality is, and I think the folks who live in the big cities need to understand this, there are more of us than there are of you. And we just want to be left alone. We're tired of you shoving your radical leftist perverted agenda down our throats every day.
We're just tired of it. And for far too long, the good people of America have stayed silent. We've gone because we believe in you do you, I do me, and we all live happily ever after. But that's not how the left operates. And all Jason Aldean is doing, he's writing a song here saying, hey, look, you want to try that kind of garbage and you want to pull that kind of stunt in a small town?
We're going to have a come to Jesus meeting. That's all he's saying here.
So I don't do you. Did you hear anything racist? I didn't hear any dog whistles in that at all. I just, I heard a lot of truth, a lot of gospel truth. That's what I heard.
844-747-8868. By the way, the U.S. Census Bureau actually backs up what Jason Aldean is singing about. They just came out with the stats for 2022. The top three counties that lost population.
Los Angeles County, controlled by radical Democrats. Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, run by radical progressive Democrats. New York City, the Big Apple, run by radical progressive Democrats. And by the way, the U.S. Census Bureau says that most of those people that are evacuating the liberal states are moving to dark red, red states, or small towns.
So it seems to me that Mr. Aldine's song strikes just the right chord, ladies and gentlemen. 844-747-8868 is our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. Let's go to the phones here.
Charles in North Carolina, what's on your mind, Charles? Hey, you know what? I've never heard that song before by Jason Aldine. It's a brand new song. Yeah, great song.
I think it echoes the sentiments of Americans all across this land. But, Todd, what I want to talk about is Republicans sticking with Donald Trump. You know, just a little bit ago, I saw an article on Gateway Pundit that four Republican senators, Murkowski, John Thune, John Corrin, and Mitt Romney are considering bolting the Republican Party if Trump's the nominee. But the fact that the left, the media, the uniparty is reacting the way they are should speak volumes to everybody that Trump is actually ahead and they're afraid of him. But, you know, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Vivek Ramachwamy, Mike Pence.
I mean, Todd, I heard that interview last week with Tucker, just like you did.
Some of those people like Mike Pence just walked into a buzzsaw, and they probably wish they'd never talked to Tucker. But if anybody other than Trump is elected to nominate, they're not going to do anything to stand up for America first. They're going to cave in to these climate activists. They're going to – and we're not going to be energy independent. They're going to cave in to the radical LGBTQ, whatever, that movement.
They're going to keep us involved in these endless wars for perpetual peace in Ukraine. They're not going to stand up to China, and they're not going to seal the southern border. Donald Trump is the only one that is going to do that, and he's already proven he can do it. And he's going to dismantle and defund the deep state. None of those others are going to do it because they're not going to be able to withstand the criticism.
So it's time, like Steve Bannon said, no more distractions. We all need to come together and unite behind Donald Trump and recapture this country, Not just to slow the pace down on the wrong road that we're going, but to actually turn around and go back and recover what we've lost. Yeah, Charles, look, the distraction is the Republican primary. I mean, nobody's going to be able to beat Trump here. I mean, that's just the reality of it.
So let's stop the distractions. Let's get behind our candidate. And we need retribution for what happened in 2016 and for what happened in 2020. That's all. That's all we're asking.
Charles, appreciate that call, and thank you, as always, for listening. Let's go to Memphis, Tennessee. Tracy is listening to us on KWAM and wants to weigh in on Jason Aldean. Hi, Tracy. What you got?
Hey, try that in a small town. Don't you do it. Don't you do it. Don't do it, y'all. Try that in a small town.
No, girl. I love it. I like that song. You got some singing skills. I can't sing, but I like that.
Yeah.
don't y'all do it. Do not do it. Just try that in a small town. I love that. Who's singing that again?
Jason Aldean, Tracy, a country music singer. And, you know, his wife got into a lot of trouble because she came out and was talking about the attacks on the kids and the sex and gender crowd coming after the kids. And man, both of them came under fierce attack. Of course, the country music industry is as woke as the day is long now. It's not Minnie Pearl or Charlie Pride anymore.
It's woke, woke, woke. Yeah, they got some funk, too. Yeah, I like country, the original country, but that right there, that's pretty good. I like that. All right.
Well, Tracy, Tracy Goody. By the way, Tracy, we were talking with a Georgia State rep in the last or the first hour of the show. The show's gone by pretty fast today. and there's a big gathering in Whitehaven, which is a suburb of Memphis, and it looks like a lot of black citizens here in this part of the country are bolting the Democrat Party. I don't know what happened with the reception in my phone when you said, and I didn't hear anything.
Oh, dear. Can you hear me now, Tracy? I could not hear you. I'm at bad reception.
Okay, well, Tracy, sorry about that, And we'll try to get that figured out. I'm not quite sure what happened, but that's Tracy in Memphis. But going back to the first hour of the program, we had a Georgia state representative, African-American woman. She left the Democrat Party, joined the Republicans.
Now she's catching the what for. And it reminded me that coming up Thursday in Memphis at the YMCA in Whitehaven, there is going to be the very first gathering of a group that will become a group of black Republicans, and they're ready to take on Steve Cohen, Congressman Steve Cohen, the radical leftist Democrat who's been in Congress for a number of years. It's exciting. That being said, ladies and gentlemen, it is an exciting time to be a conservative. It's a terribly concerning and terrifying time to be a conservative.
And that's all the better, because we have to stand together, and we're going to have to fight. That's what this is about. This is the hill to die on. All right, got to take a break here. 844-747-8868.
That is our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Starnes Show. So here's what needs to happen. And folks, this is only going to get worse from here.
So tell your friends, your family, listen to the Tom Stern's radio program. We're going to get you through what's about to happen. But here's where all of this is heading.
So the Democrats believe and the deep state believes they can use the 14th Amendment to force Trump off of the ballot.
So let's say that Trump is the nominee, the eventual nominee. And by the way, the reason why all this is happening is because they are afraid he is going to be the nominee. If they invoke the 14th Amendment and there is an insurrection clause, and it bans anyone who engaged in insurrection against the United States from holding any elected office, unless they get the approval of two-thirds of the House and the Senate.
So that's why there is an effort afoot to arrest and charge Trump with insurrection.
So it's going to be very important to watch the language coming out of Jack Smith over the next couple of days. But I want you to hear something, because Trump never called for an insurrection. What happened at the Capitol, it's got to be the worst organized insurrection in the history of insurrections. Nobody showed up with a weapon. The only people armed with weapons were, in fact, the Capitol police.
But I do want you to hear from lawmakers who were calling for violence and who were calling for unrest, and they are all Democrats. I just don't even know why there aren't uprisings all over the country, and maybe there will be. People need to start taking to the streets. This is a dictator. You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there is unrest in our lives.
Enemies of the state. Show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Do something about your dad's immigration practices, you feckless. When they go low, we kill them. How do you resist the temptation to run up and wring her neck?
Biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right. I thought he should have punched him in the face. I said, even if you lost, he insulted your wife. He came down the escalator and called Mexicans rapists and murders. He said, well, what do you think I should have done?
I said, I think you should have punched him in the face and then gotten out of the race. He would have been a hero. I'd like to punch him in the face. I said if we were in high school, I'd take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him. Punch some people in the face!
When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? They're still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump, and that's a fact. Look as his character is stabbed to death. Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him? This way.
That's it right there. I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. A Missouri state senator is under investigation by the Secret Service after saying she hopes President Trump is assassinated. I will go and take Trump out tonight. And if you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd.
And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere. And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and our honoring our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. They're not going to stop before Election Day in November, and they're not going to stop after Election Day. And that should be, everyone should take note of that on both levels, that this isn't, they're not going to let up, and they should not.
If you think we're rallying now, you ain't seen nothing yet. And by the way, those last shots you heard came from 2020 when rioters threw liberals through Molotov cocktails and bottles at Secret Service agents and set buildings on fire in our nation's capital. At least 50 Secret Service agents were injured when they tried to storm the White House, the gates of the White House. They set St. John's Episcopal Church on fire.
That is the Church of the Presidents in Lafayette Park.
So, ladies and gentlemen, if they're going after Donald Trump for the insurrection, so-called insurrection, whatever happened on J6, Where are all the Democrats being arrested for what happened in 2020? Where are all the Democrats who you just heard? Why are they not in jail for threatening the life of a sitting United States president? What about all those Hollywood stars? And by the way, keep in mind, it was Hollywood, a Hollywood actor who killed Abraham Lincoln.
So, ladies and gentlemen, this is far from over. they're going to try to shove an insurrection charge down President Trump's throat to remove him from the ballot they are terrified of this man and folks we're going to give you the best analysis we're going to give you up to the minute news and information and we're going to be checking in with our sources in Washington and we'll bring you what they tell you tell us tomorrow here on the program all right folks be good America
