Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah. On Wednesday. But the problem is, we didn't know about it. The general public didn't know about it until Thursday.

So that tells us that the Biden administration had been tracking this. They knew the balloon was there. and they knew the balloon was hovering over America, taking pictures of Lord knows what and gathering intel of Lord knows what. It could have been there for days, for all we know. But the Biden administration did nothing.

Biden said, I would have shot it down on Wednesday, but I was told not to. I want to know who those people are. Who is it inside the Pentagon? Who is it inside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? Told President Biden, no, you cannot shoot it down.

we have to wait until it gets over the water because it might hurt people. All right, first of all, it's a freaking balloon. Number two, there are more cattle than people in the state of Montana. It could have been shot down there. But if the whole mentality was, and again, their reasoning was, well, we need to wait until it gets over water, why didn't they knock it out of the sky when it crossed over the Aleutian Islands?

Could have done it, but they did not do it. And there are a lot of people speculating now as to why. But beyond that, ladies and gentlemen, there are grave security concerns that not a lot of people are talking about. But one person who is talking about it is Alex Jones. And he's been talking about this for a very long time now.

And many people, just about everybody, dismissed Alex Jones and the folks over at Infowars because they said there was no way, no way that it was possible that the Chinese would attack America using balloons. I mean, they laughed Alex Jones out of the room. Cut number 10. When you've got these blimps and you've got these dirigibles, you've got these balloons with big high-tech packages flying around, drifting around, and a lot of them have little propellers on the sides, little boosters or thrusters. I don't know if this one does because we haven't gotten a shot of the top of it.

But regardless, that could very easily be an EMP weapon package or a test package to test an EMP attack. And you can bet your bottom dollar, China's got thousands of them lined up ready to launch and send over the North Pole right into the United States. They can detonate them over any targets they want. And with a couple dozen of these, he would guaranteed knock out everything above ground in the U.S. And it turns out he's absolutely right about that.

And the scientists are now talking about the concerns that the Chinese could launch and use these balloons as delivery platforms for a nuclear EMP attack. And you say, well, would they really destroy civilization? No, it's not destroying humans. It's actually destroying all of our electronics. And if they were able to do that, they would decimate the United States, and we would not be able to fight a war.

So the threat is very real, as was demonstrated over the weekend, where you had not one, not two, but three balloons. The third one is somewhere, I don't know, over Havana, somewhere over Latin America, you have a third balloon. But for whatever reason, the Biden administration, and they've been very upfront about this, They say that the Chinese, this was a surveillance balloon, a spy balloon.

So if that's the case, then why, ladies and gentlemen, explain to me, why did the Biden administration not shoot down that balloon?

Now, the Pentagon says that they were able to stop the Chinese from gathering intelligence. How do they know that? How do they know they were able to do that? And why have they been keeping this a secret?

Now, President Trump came out and has been very vocal about this, and he was glad that the military finally shot down the balloon. And we're going to be talking to President Trump a little bit later in this program. But the president points out that this did not happen under his watch, and then all of a sudden these leaks come out that, in fact, there were Chinese balloons over the United States during the Trump administration. But now you have multiple Trump officials, including the former director of national intelligence, John Radcliffe, coming out and saying that's that's a load of hooey. It just did not happen.

Cut number six. John, the Biden administration is trying to minimize this explosive situation in this past week. And the Department of Defense is claiming that there were three balloons, Chinese spy balloons, that entered the United Space airspace during the Trump administration and that they were not shot down and they were not disclosed. Can you please tell us the truth and if that's true?

Well, it's not true. I can I can refute it. Former Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, refuted it yesterday. Former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo has refuted it. But, Maria, the American people can refute it for themselves.

Do you remember during the Trump administration when photographers on the ground and commercial airline pilots were talking about a spy balloon over the United States, that people could look up and see even with the naked eye and that a media that hated Donald Trump wasn't reporting? I don't remember that either because it didn't happen. As I said to you earlier, this was unprecedented. We have never had a circumstance where an adversary has had spycraft over our country, our continental United States, posing a threat for the better part of a week straight. And that's why I said to you before, not only is it unprecedented, but the damage from this is incalculable, both from an intelligence standpoint and the possible payloads.

You talked a little bit earlier about the different types of payloads that a stratospheric balloon could carry. Those possibilities are limited only by your imagination. But what we do know is none of those are possible to be deployed against the United States if a stratospheric balloon isn't allowed to traipse across our countryside for four straight days, something that has never happened before.

Now, here's another theory and another possibility. If, in fact, there were balloons that were spotted during the Trump administration years, it could be possible the Pentagon did not release that information. But you have plenty of high-level Trump administration officials who are flat-out denying that this happened. And I have to believe that if the American people knew that there were Chinese spy balloons hovering over the United States, that Donald Trump would have done something about it. But now we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there were spy balloons hovering over the United States.

They were allowed to enter American airspace. And I talked to a number of pilots over the weekend who told me that there's no way that this balloon just randomly picked its course. This was something that was controlled.

So this was whatever kind of a balloon device. It was being guided. It had some sort of a guidance system. otherwise the tailwinds would have had it up somewhere near Michigan. But that's not what happened here.

So anyway, it's a mess, ladies and gentlemen, and the fact of the matter is China is an enemy of America. And Joe Biden allowed an enemy of this nation to utilize our airspace to gather Lord knows what kind of evidence. We don't know. We just do not know. And we may never know.

But I'm telling you, and if you think this is a problem, this giant balloon, you need to take a very long, hard look at TikTok. The Chinese government gathering intel and data on every American citizen who uses TikTok every single day. Kind of makes you wonder, what is the greater threat? I would say the Chinese spy balloon, and the reason why is because these Chinese spy balloons actually had the capacity to take out every piece of electronic in the country. Every single thing that's run by electronics could be destroyed by an EMP blast.

All right, folks, welcome back to the Todd Starnes Radio Show. Glad to have you with us. I want to thank the Jeffs, Jeffs Squared. That would be Katz and Stein for filling in last week, feeling much better. And thank you for your kind words and your home remedies.

All very effective, by the way. We're going to have some audio coming up momentarily from Congressman Mike Waltz out of Florida. unbelievable folks when you hear what the pentagon has been has been up to uh but right now i want to go to the phones a lot of you wanting to weigh in on this let's start off the day in north carolina a beautiful state randy listening to us on wsic hi randy what's on your mind hey todd good afternoon how you doing sir i'm good thank you for asking um i wanted to weigh in a little bit on the emp attack that you were talking about. A lot of people who may not know it think that it's a bunch of hooey and it's not possible, but one thing that they should do is go to the library or even purchase it, a book by William Fortune called One Second After. Read that book.

Now, I believe there's three more following it. One second after, one year after, the final day is the last one that I read. I just noticed that there's another one five years after, but read one second after, that will keep you up worse than any boogeyman you have ever thought of. Or instantly. And Randall, you're right.

The United States is going to start. It's instant. And this is what's more troubling to me is an EMP attack rather than a nuclear missile, because when you have an EMP, the country is still, at least the infrastructure is still intact when the Chinese or the Russians or whoever wants to invade. But this is a real problem here. There was a paper done back in 2015 by a guy named David Stuckenberg, who is an Air Force major, and he's sort of the leading expert on these EMT attacks.

And he said we need to be very, very concerned about the possibility of an enemy using the balloons to detonate those devices or using them as the platform to get them over here. That's one way. Personally, I think it would be kind of a slow wave because if we'd have been paying attention in the first place, that balloon should have never even crossed our border. Depending on where it crossed over, of course. If it came over Canada first and then crossed our border, then we might have an issue.

But at the same time, it shouldn't have gotten as far as it did. There's plenty of different – excuse me for interrupting, but there's plenty of places like going over Montana. You shoot it down over Montana, it might hit a cow unless it hits Bozeman or something like that. But there was plenty of places that it could have come down before it hit the north central portion of the United States and then carried off into North Carolina and South Carolina. There's a reason why the Pentagon didn't want to shoot this down.

And we don't know what that reason is, but we've got to get to the bottom of it. And by the way, Randy, we're being told that tomorrow Republicans will announce hearings on this balloon issue.

So hopefully we're going to get some answers. Randy, I appreciate your call. Let's go to Steve in North Carolina listening to us on The Talk Station. Steve, that was quite an episode down the coast from you guys in South Carolina over the weekend. Yes, it was very concerning.

And just to tie into your previous caller, William Forstner actually testified in front of Congress in 1996 about EMPs.

So he knows of which he speaks. But to tie in also to that conversation, the fact that there is a possibility that that balloon could have been carrying an EMP weapon may be the very reason why they didn't want to drop the balloon over solid ground where it could have broken apart and released radiation. and it would be much more controllable dropping it in water where the Coast Guard currently has a 10-mile exclusion zone around that drop area. There was a plan, Steve, during World War II. I remember reading about this years ago.

There was a plan by the Japanese to actually launch balloon bombs in the direction of the western coast of the United States. And, of course, that turned out not to happen. But during that congressional testimony you were talking about, there is actually a congressional report. And they did a study that if there was an EMP device that exploded over America, the blackout could last as long as a year. It would take at least a year to get the power back on.

They said millions of people could die as a result of that. Millions. that the it would be absolutely horrible um especially this time of year in winter think about the northeast with no heat um it it it is a horrible scenario steve it does make you wonder and if you're if if you're a family man if you've got a wife and kids you want to be thinking okay what happens if the lights go out one day what what do i do would i be able to take care of my family? Would we be able to survive? The average American, they have no idea how to plant a weed, much less a rutabaga.

So it is certainly something that should give all of us pause because this is a clear and present danger. Steve, appreciate that call. Let's go to Charles in North Carolina, WSIC, our great station there. Hey, Charles, what's on your mind? Hey, Todd, just like everybody else, I'm just appalled at what I saw this weekend.

I mean, you know, ever since last Saturday, the 28th, the Pentagon, they've known about this thing. And to allow an enemy of the United States to launch a balloon, to go over sensitive military targets and do nothing about it, and we have to find out about it through an amateur photographer, is just, at best, derelict, and at worst, treason. But, Todd, I think that articles of impeachment should be presented today in the House against Joe Biden. I think Kevin McCarthy should deny him a platform tomorrow night to deliver his State of the Union address. And I think we need to get to the bottom of this.

But this man is clearly compromised by communist China. He's compromised by Ukraine. And he is just it's just there's nothing good out of this. Sources close to Trump said, or sources inside the Pentagon, anytime they're not quoting somebody it's a lie you can just take it to the bank that's how they operate with Donald Trump and and what kills me is that you've got so many conservatives out there that buy this stuff I got messages last night Todd Todd is it true is it true that Donald Trump knew about this and all of this had all of these balloons are flying no no no Trump did not know about it. And you've heard from a long line of Trump administration officials who came and said, well, wait a second, we didn't know anything about this.

So now Congressman Mike Waltz out of Florida called the Pentagon and said, what the heck's going on here? And according to him, that these balloons did in fact fly over, but it turns out nobody bothered to tell the White House. Yeah, I do think this is spin on the Biden White House's part to say, well, it happened back then. They didn't shoot it down and therefore to justify their dithering and inaction here. My office has been briefed by the Office of Secretary of Defense and the current Pentagon that it happened over Florida, it happened over Texas, and that it's happened before.

We have more detailed questions, but what's unclear, Stu, and this is the key point, is did the Pentagon under the Trump administration brief the Trump White House and give them the option to take action? Or did they decide not to brief them for whatever reason? And there's some speculation. I've talked to Trump White House officials over the weekend that the Pentagon deliberately did it because they thought Trump would be too provocative and too aggressive.

So that's what we need to get to the bottom of. And one person I'm waiting to hear from that we haven't heard from in that whole list is former Secretary of Defense and General Mattis, who was the secretary during this time period. What did he know and what did he decide to pass on and brief to the president? Treasonous behavior, ladies and gentlemen. Treasonous behavior.

We're going to get to the bottom of it. I can promise you that. I want to swivel just for a moment and go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. And so parents across the country are taking matters into their own hands, running for school board, electing school boards, protecting their children. You know, we see more work in the pro-life arena taking place.

So there's a lot to be encouraged about as people realize that our faith, our families, and our freedom, really, they really are under attack. I thought it was quite ironic last night. I was not watching the Grammy Awards. I would rather get the clot shot from Whoopi Goldberg. But, Tony, it was open debauchery and open worship of Satan.

And CBS actually promoted this event as a worship event of the Prince of Darkness on national television. The divide in the nation could not be any greater. And it's very interesting, Todd, to watch. I've been, you know, over a quarter of a century in this political process, been in Washington here for 20 years, and I've watched the divide grow more significant. But here's what Hollywood is doing.

Hollywood is leaving the vast majority of Americans behind because that does not reflect where Americans are. I mean, you see this wokeness in corporate America. You see, you know, Hollywood was already there, but they're becoming even more brazen, you know, in this demonic activity that took place last night. And so, yeah, certainly they are influencing a large portion of our culture. But a lot of people are saying, you know what, enough is enough.

And so the point we stand at, and I'm going to talk about this tonight, is I can only point to one other time in American history where the nation was as divided. And that was during the Civil War, right before the Civil War.

So we're an ideologically divided nation. It does have some geographical boundaries, not like it did in the 1860s. But we're a divided nation, and something must bring us together. And that something has to be based on truth. And right now, that's not coming from Washington, D.C.

One of the pastors of one of the largest evangelical churches in America, based in Atlanta, not going to name his name. but came out and suggested that straight Christians needed to be like gay Christians.

Well, let me name it, because Andy Stanley is a false prophet. He is a false prophet, and I believe he is going to have to give an account for just ignoring Scripture and teaching people. It's kind of like in Jeremiah's day, where Jeremiah was the target of the cancel culture because he was speaking the Word of God. that people needed to repent and return to the truth, and the false prophets were saying, oh, no, no, peace, peace. You know, nothing's going to happen.

This guy's just out there. He's crazy. But we have false prophets today, and when they deviate from the Word of God, they get into this era, to this heretical teaching, and Andy Stanley is one of those. I've got to commend you, Tony, because, you know, there have been other ministers coming on this program. They're like, well, I can talk about it, but I want to name names, and I was just, you know, trying to be gracious.

But I appreciate you coming out and saying the name Andy Stanley, because that's certainly it. And I think it's causing confusion in the church as well when he comes out with these kinds of statements. It's not only causing confusion, this is causing people to walk in darkness. This is very dangerous, and this is why the New Testament talks about teachers are going to be held to a higher account. Because, you know, if you're a teacher, if you're a leader, people are listening to you and they are following you.

And, you know, I make this statement only because I have communicated with Andy Stanley in the past about statements that he's made.

So I approached him about these issues and he said, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Well, we're at a point where we're seeing children that are being trafficked. We see children that are being led down this path at an alarming rate, led into confusion about their sexual identity. And Todd, this is wrong. We just saw the passage in December of the so-called Respect for Marriage Act, which has already led to, as we predicted, public servants that are Christian having a target placed on them. Jacob Kersey, a 19-year-old police officer in Port Wentworth, Georgia, who posted a statement making reference to biblical marriage, and he was bullied into resigning his position.

That's only going to accelerate unless we stand up and we not just defend the truth, but we live out the truth, and that begins in the church. And not to belabor the point here, Tony, we had Jacob on the show last week, but you had a state senator from Nebraska introduce legislation that would criminalize inviting a child to a youth group or a Bible study There was the Virginia Democrat and the legislature there who wanted to prosecute parents who don affirm their kids sexual identity So this is a clear war on the family in America and Christianity. It is. And so if anyone doesn't believe that, I don't know what rock they're hiding under. But here's the thing.

None of us like conflict. I mean, well, I should rephrase that. Most of us do not like conflict. I don't like conflict. But truth demands that we stand for what is right, and that oftentimes will result in conflict.

But the purpose in this is not to win a debate. It's not to prevail over someone else. It is so that others might come to know the truth, because if we all know that the way to, you know, the abundant life, as Jesus said, is through the truth of knowing him, if we're afraid to speak that, then there's going to be a lot of people that never find the truth and the freedom and the abundant life that comes with that.

First of all, where is the law internationally that's preventing China from launching a weather balloon around the world? Because the U.S. does it. Secondly, it was above 60,000 feet, 65,000 feet FAA jurisdiction. Thirdly, how do we know that it wasn't a weather balloon?

I looked at the pictures, and it was a truss with a bunch of solar panels. And, you know, is it the Chinese saying, ah, we're just going to mess with them and see how they react? And the other thing is, these people that talk about EMPs don't know what they're talking about. Do you know the power that would need to be generated with an explosion with an EMP to affect all of our electronics? It's astronomical.

So it's just like them saying, oh, 5G is going to give you cancer. Yes, 5G means fifth generation. That's all it means.

So EMPs don't exist or you don't think they're a problem? It's just all made up? Make-believe? It would take so much energy to create an EMP nationally to affect all of our electronics. I have tube units.

It wouldn't even affect my tube sets. Only digitals, and you can shield them. And not only that, it would also affect them. It would affect the enemy. Listen, the Chinese have spy satellites that can read your license plate.

Joe Biden already gives them all of our secrets or sells them like Clinton did.

Well, I think the rest are on TikTok. You see, Mike, I think that maybe the bigger threat from a spy sense would be TikTok. They're going to have greater access to... TikTok is nothing. You don't think so?

Oh, come on. TikTok, you know what? TikTok is cleaning the TikTok clock of Silicon Valley.

So they brought up some politicians to get rid of another app that's an incredible app for conservatives, by the way, a lot of good conservative information on there. And they go by U.S. law. It's once again a diversion. You know, the Chinese could be preparing to attack Taiwan while we're diverted with this silly thing about a balloon.

So there you go. Oh, speaking of britches in a bunch, I have to share this story with you. From New York City, Andrew Miller is the author of this piece. A New York school and food vendor is apologizing for serving chicken and waffles on the first day of Black History Month. Were they playing zippity-doo-dah on the intercom system, too?

I don't know. Oh, boy. Yeah, this is not good. And Nyack Middle School in New York, they are very upset because the hot lunch menu was changed without their knowledge. Turns out the people who run the food distribution service wanted to honor African Americans by serving fried chicken, waffles, and a watermelon dessert.

The school's principal called it an unfortunate situation. Really?

Okay, well, he even wrote a statement out. Quote, We are extremely disappointed by the regrettable situation and apologize to the entire Nyack community for the cultural insensitivity displayed by our food service provider. What, did somebody get in a gesture? What happened? I don't understand this.

Quote, I am disappointed that Aramark would serve items that differed from the published monthly menu, especially items that reinforce negative stereotypes concerning the African-American community. Harumph, harumph, harumph.

Well, okay. Am I missing something? Am I missing something, ladies and gentlemen? Did they serve Mrs. Butterworth's syrup with the waffles?

Is that what happened? Is that the racist outrage here? Or is it the fried chicken? Could someone please explain to me, and I just mean this genuinely.

So if we have any of you race-beating agitators out there, Al Sharpton, if you're in the neighborhood, give me a call. I just want someone to explain to me what exactly makes fried chicken or waffles or watermelon racist. Could somebody please explain that to me? God forbid the school serve collard greens. I mean, they'd have to tear down the school.

Well, sweet potato pie, well, that goes without saying, of course. Sweet potato pie, too.

So I just don't understand this outrage over fried chicken. What makes fried chicken racist? Could somebody explain that to me? As a matter of fact, anybody who can do that, we may have to give them, I don't know, a prize, maybe a gift certificate to KFC.

Well, no Popeyes. Popeyes is better, much better than KFC. I know it's finger-licking good, but I like the spice in the Popeyes. It's just great fried chicken. And maybe a strawberry drink.

Oh, wait a second. Is that racist, too? Are we racist? Unbelievable, you people. All right.

So, I normally don't watch the Grammys. I used to, and it was a public service. I watched it so you would not have to subject your ears to all sorts of whatever was happening. And then there's the Grammys, and then you got with the VMAs. I remember years ago when I was living in Brooklyn, New York, the VMAs were actually held in my neighborhood.

I lived right around the corner from Barclays Arena where the basketball team plays. and I remember walking around just observing the neighborhood which aside from being one of those liberal neighborhoods in America everybody looked fairly normal but I got to tell you man it looked like the bar scene out of Star Wars I mean people wearing all sorts of costumes some people wearing hardly anything at all and that was the year that Miley Cyrus mounted that giant wrecking ball and did unmentionable things on national television, to give you some perspective. But what Miley Cyrus did back in the day is nothing compared to what happened last night. Did you happen to catch the satanic worship service that took place during the Grammys? Here's what it sounded like.

Satan dropping the bass beat. He's done all on, now we know, so we can never know.

Okay, enough of that. Enough, enough, enough. Thank you, Kyle. I feel like we need to bring in a priest and exercise the radio station.

So this is a guy named, and I'm going to get all this mixed up.

So bear with me here, because if it's not country, I don't listen to it.

So this is a guy named Sam Smith. And, Kyle, you're going to have to help me out. You're the resident musical expert here. And I know you weren't watching last night. I was not watching.

I prefer to stay away from that.

So Sam Smith, right?

So Sam Smith is a dude, right? Sam Smith is a gay man.

Well, no, no, no, not anymore. He's a satanic man. No, no, no. He's gone. Was he having a relationship with Satan?

I don't know. But now he identifies himself apparently as non-binary. Oh, my bad. I don't know what that means. and then there's somebody else named kim petrus and it now is she a she or is she a he who used to i'm confused based off the description it sounds like she's a she but she's transgender so i'm not sure if that means she used to be by i don't know what her biological status is a lot of mental gymnastics going on here a hell of a lot yeah yeah it's it's weird thank you kyle so I'm now more confused than ever.

So anyway, these people need to be in therapy. They need to be at a psychiatrist office. Their biological status is unclear. Anyway, they were invited to perform at the Grammys last night. And moms and dads, I hate to break this to you, but a lot of your kids, including the children that go to Sunday school, were probably listening to this music and probably have some of this music in their playlist.

So if you're wondering why little Johnny is running around acting like a hellion, well, there's a pretty good chance he's got Sam Smith in the playlist. Anyway, regardless, I don't care what the status is, biologically speaking. What that dude was wearing last night is not working for him. Needs to go down to Brooks Brothers and get himself some big boy pants.

So anyway, CBS News, they had this performance last night. And it's causing all sorts of chaos in the culture. It was a song called Unholy.

Now, this song is one of the top songs in America. It hit number one on the Billboard charts back in October.

Well, Todd, what does that mean? It means your good, decent little Christian son or daughter is more than likely got this in the playlist. I'm just telling you. You know, we were talking about this last week. And it bears repeating again.

Moms, dads, you need to find out what your kids are listening to. You need to find out what they're doing online. You need to be involved in your child's life because everything they listen to, everything they're exposed to in this culture has an impact on them. But, Todd, we just want to give our children space. They need space to grow and mature and to learn.

Shut up. Enough of that crap. Listen to me. Todd Starnes, Parenting 101.

Well, how many children do you have? None that I know of. Thank you very much. But I know this much.

Something your kid is listening to is going to impact their life in a very negative way. And I would just point you to a conversation we had last week on this radio program. When you had an 18-year-old high school football player, one of the best in the country, And now this kid is going to be lucky to be able to go to a community college because he was listening to music and singing along to music that included a very bad racial word. But Todd, what? It's just music.

Yes, I know it's just music. But you don't understand. If you're white, you can only listen to certain kinds of music. Barry Manilow. Taylor Swift.

country music, but that's about it. It's too dangerous. I'm telling you, the poor kid, he just feels so horrible. But it doesn't matter. Your whole life could be upended.

That's from a career standpoint. But your kid is listening to this kind of garbage, this satanic nonsense. Folks, that will have eternal ramifications on your child's life.

now CBS just so again they're trying to be subtle CBS News because they weren't quite sure you guys would get what they were trying to do with this song they actually put out a tweet and they encouraged you to get ready to worship CBS's words not mine so last night for the very first time in Grammy history and probably for the first time in broadcast history, you actually had a satanic worship service being broadcast in millions of homes around America.

Now, some people are surprised by this. I don't know why, because you had a bunch of LGBTQ, you had some alphabet people up there leading the nation in satanic worship.

Now, you can spin it however you want to spin it, but I'm telling you right there, ladies and gentlemen, is a great example of how messed up our country is. But it also gives us a little bit of insight into what's happening in Hollywood, Tinseltown, the place where stars are made. Oh, I thought I saw a white balloon go by, but it turned out to be a jetliner. My apologies. I was slightly distracted here in the broadcast studio.

Senator Ted Cruz says this is evil. And he's right. It is evil. Because now we know who Hollywood worships. The Prince of Darkness.

Evil. And you know what I saw when I went back and I saw the video? I saw a demonic presence. Ladies and gentlemen, if we don't get a handle on our culture, if we don't get a handle on what is being filled into the mushy brains of our children, we will not be able to save this country you mark my words on this now some of you may want to dismiss oh dad they're just kids they're just kids having fun just like elvis yeah well you know what elvis elvis believed in god elvis worshiped god yes i know he swiveled his hips but he worshiped god this is evil and somebody needs to be able to call it evil i'm glad the senator's doing We have Marjorie Taylor Greene coming in as well. A lot of people are very upset about this.

And I suppose that's a good thing. But you know what? You're not buying the music. Your kids are. I would just, when the kids come home from school today, just say, hey, honey, come here for a second.

Let me take a look at your smartphone. Or you may have to, I don't know, you may have to, like, deceive them with a cookie, right? Just kind of distract them. Oh, I made a hot plate of delicious hot chocolate chip cookies. And I'm like, oh, thanks, Mommy.

And when they grab the cookie, you grab the phone. And you better see. You better call your preacher because you may have to exercise your child's smartphone. I'm just telling you. All right, we've got to take a break here.

So anyway, Disney's back at it again. They've got a cartoon called The Proud Family. And this is a reboot of something. Oh, I don't know. I haven't followed Disney stuff in a long time.

Anyway, it's about a black family. And this was an actual cartoon geared for children. I want you to hear the song that was played on Disney. Cut to. This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country.

So, here's what I need you to understand. All of you good, wholesome families out there that are taking your trip to Disney World and Disneyland, all of you folks doing that, you are financing this nonsense. You are responsible for this.

So if you want to put a stop to this nonsense, stop going to Disney World. Stop going to Disneyland. Cancel your Disney Plus subscriptions. but unless you're okay with this because they're teaching generations of children that are just plopped right in front of the tv they're teaching these kids that there's something wrong with america and they're teaching kids and by the way you go through this song and i'm curious did did hispanic people do anything in this country or what about what about asians did they did they contribute to america i mean we know the white man didn't do anything, right?

So the white man is just worthless.

So I get that. But I'm just curious here. What about everybody else? Is the black man responsible for everything good that's ever happened in America? And everybody else is evil.

Is that what they're trying to say here? I mean, ladies and gentlemen, this is pretty despicable stuff. Because again, this is part of critical race theory. This is part of the plan to separate and divide us. And they're doing a very good job of it.

A great job, actually. And Disney is as woke as the day is long. Maybe they ought to write a song about that. But this is pretty sad to teach these children. They're teaching this to our children, ladies and gentlemen.

You've got Disney stuff in your household, I would send it back and ask for a refund. That's what I would do. But there you go. One of the cartoons, by the way, this is part of a cartoon. A father of one of the children, I'm reading from The Blaze.

A father of one of the children, a black man, tells a white man, they're going to arrest our babies and asks him, do something with your white privilege. What white privilege? I've been looking high and low. I cannot find my white privilege anywhere. I have searched every – yes, I checked in the sock drawer.

I couldn't find it, Kyle. I don't know where it is. No, I looked under the bed, too. It's not there. It's not there.

I found an old iPhone, though. That was good. But no, I cannot find my white privilege. I have searched high and low. I looked for it when I was paying for my taxes.

I didn't see it there. When I had to go and pay full price at the gas price, no, I could not find my white privilege there. I don't know. It's got to be around here somewhere. I'll keep looking.

Well, thank you, Todd, very much. Mr. President, big news over the weekend with this Chinese spy balloon that got shut down. What I find interesting about this, I want to reach CNN's headline. This is their actual headline, Mr.

President. Chinese spy balloons under Trump not discovered until after Biden took office. They're always trying to find something to go after you. It's disinformation. And the person that came up with that story is the same person that came up with the story.

a long time ago that the laptop was Russia disinformation. Don't use the laptop. It's all disinformation. It's the same exact person. And they came up with this idea because this way you can have disinformation.

You can get it off. You can sort of put it on Trump as usual. And people don't buy it. They don't buy it at all. And if it happened, by the way, you know, when these things happen, people see it.

You know how this one was found. I guess a farmer was looking up at the sky and they saw it. It's massive. It's a much bigger thing than you would think. And people see it.

So nobody saw it. There were no complaints. There were no people saying, oh, gee, there's a big balloon or blimp or whatever you want to call it up there, Todd.

So it's just more disinformation, just like Russia, Russia, Russia. That was a hoax. That was a disinformation hoax and all the rest of it. You think of it. Impeachment hoax number one.

Impeachment hoax number two. All they're good at is disinformation and cheating on elections. That's all they know how to do. And you know, Mr. President, Congressman Mike Waltz out of Florida said he reached out to the Defense Department, and they said, well, yeah, this happened, but we may not have told the administration.

That, to me, sounds pretty treasonous if you've got the Pentagon holding on to information like that, and they're not sharing it with the commander-in-chief. Yeah, well, I disagree with Mike. If he said Mike's a friend of mine, he's a great guy, but I disagree with Mike, we would have found out about it. Everybody said they didn't hear about it. I mean, not just me and virtually everybody, even guys like Bolton, who is, you know, not somebody I particularly like, although I use them to the country's advantage.

Every time I put him in a room, they thought we're going to war.

So we're all the negotiations. But, you know, it's it's everybody, including him. But everybody said the same thing, that it never happened. And I believe that. Why do you think President Biden waited so long in giving that order to shoot it down?

I think they're just very unsure of themselves. They knew about it long before. They knew about it when it was, I think, before it got to Alaska. They knew about it. And I think they just are very unsure of themselves.

And, you know, they should be based on results. They should be unsure of themselves. I have to tell you, I was so excited to see you back out on the campaign trail. The people in South Carolina just loved you. What was that experience like for you, being back out there and shaking hands with folks and getting the ice cream there at the Zesto?

Well, I was there to get the endorsement of great people. We had just great, as you know, the governor of the state and Lindsey, who's a terrific person. He's on the liberal side, but you can't win them all. That's okay. But we had just about every congressman.

We had great, great support. It was a beautiful thing to see. And I also went to New Hampshire that day. I went to the Republican Party's event, and we had tremendous support there, too. And it was a great day.

And you probably heard they say 81 million people watched in one form or another. That's a number that few people have ever seen. It's Super Bowl type of numbers. It's huge. It was a beautiful day.

Yeah, it was a beautiful day. And, Mr. President, those numbers are huge in spite of the fact that DirecTV, AT&T, declaring war on conservative cable channels. Of course, you've been very vocal about what's been happening with Newsmax.

Well, I think it's a disgrace. Newsmax has done a fantastic job. There's so many of the people in there, almost all of them. I mean, if you look at just what a great job they've done. And it's a conservative voice.

It's really a true conservative voice. And what DirecTV, and that's AT&T, did is, I think it's deplorable. And we'll find, as Hillary would say, I hope it works out as well. That's a good word. But it is a deplorable situation, and it shouldn't be allowed.

It shouldn't be allowed. And, you know, the other thing is Newsmax did very well in the ratings.

So they took something up that was actually doing well in the ratings, as opposed to other shows they have that don't.

So this was done for political reasons. and they're going to end up winning that. They're going to end up winning.

So we'll see what happens. But Chris Ruddy and the rest of them, they're great people, and they deserve better. I can tell you that. Go to you. Chris Ruddy, by the way, that was the first invite I got to Mar-a-Lago.

He brought me down for supper, and that was a good meal, Mr. President. Well, he's a great guy, and so are you a great guy, I have to be honest with you. We have to tell it like it is. If I didn't agree, if I didn't think so, well, first of all, I wouldn't be doing your show.

Good point. It's one of those things, but you've done a great job. We appreciate it. Mr. President, tomorrow, Biden will deliver the State of the Union.

In your estimation, what is the State of our Union right now? It's a confused country. It's a country in decline. We're in serious decline. It's a country that's not respected and laughed at all over the world.

It's a country that should have easily stopped the Ukraine-Russia situation. I could have stopped that with a phone call. It wouldn't have started. I mean, we went four years. Nobody ever heard of this.

And I thought, actually, when Putin started lining up along the border, and I actually think that's what he expected, too. But the country, our country, was so weak. You remember when Biden said, well, maybe they're going to take some of it, essentially. And you say, you know, that's not a good message to have.

So that's something that shouldn't have started. You look at inflation, it's actually really bad. The recent numbers just came out are really, really bad. And so many things. You look at that horrible Afghanistan withdrawal that nobody's ever seen anything like that.

I think the lowest day in the history of our country. And a very big thing is you look at millions of people, I think maybe 15 million, but you look at millions and millions of people pouring into the country and nobody knows who they are. Nobody knows where they come from. They're terrorists. And, you know, they're releasing their prisoners.

They're releasing their people from mental institutions into our country, Todd. You know that very well. And who can blame them? Who can blame them? You know the cost that they're saving.

And literally, you look at some of their mental institutions now and they're empty. And you know where the people are? They're in the United States of America, the American dream. And it's a disgrace to what's happening to our country. On the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line is former President Donald Trump.

And, Mr. President, I know our time is quickly expiring. I want to, you know, you talk a lot about the culture, and you were such a strong defender of life, religious liberty, a lot of the issues for the evangelical movement. And I think it's interesting how the media is trying to say that evangelicals are against you moving into this new election cycle. I've had plenty of those leaders on this program.

I haven't had a single one say that.

Well, I appreciate you saying that. Nobody's done more for life than I have. You know, they talked for decades about it, but nobody did it. I got three Supreme Court justices, and I did it. And now it's up to the states, and that's where people wanted it.

That's where people, that's where it should be. And states are going to do the right things. And if they're not, something's going to happen. And, you know, but it's right now where it should be. Everybody was opposed to Roast.

So many people and legal scholars were opposed, not even on a religious face. I'm talking about legal scholars were opposed to it in so many different ways.

So I did something that nobody else was able to get through. And you're talking about many, many decades, almost before you were born, I would say, Todd, and probably me, too. And we had three, you know, great people that that voted their hearts and voted what was right. and now it's up to the states. And I think the people, the evangelicals, Christians, frankly, a lot of other people, a lot of other religions, they very much appreciate what I did.

And you're right, I see a lot of love. I read from the fake news that some people are angry. I don't know how they could be angry at me. I do believe in the three exceptions. Other people don't, and you have to follow your heart.

I do think it's very hard to get elected without the exceptions, frankly, but that's up to them. Ronald Reagan had the exceptions. I had the exceptions.

So that's up to them. But, you know, as a candidate, let's say, as a candidate, it's really up to them what they do. And they have to follow what they believe. But I think it's very hard to get elected without, you know, having that whole situation as Ronald Reagan did it and as I did it with respect to the three exceptions. I think it's very important.

Promises made, promises delivered, Mr. President, and we just keep reminding people of that, and we know you're going to do it again. And I know our time is expiring here, and we really appreciate you taking a few minutes with our national audience.

Well, I appreciate you, Todd, and it's an honor. And I'm always with you, and you've always been with me, and that's why I talk to you and I don't talk to some others, I'll be honest with you.

Now, I know Nikki Haley's probably going to do it next week, but Nikki Haley, in all, let's just be real. Can we be real here, ladies and gentlemen? Nikki Haley is not running for the White House. She's running for the Vice President's House. That's what she's doing here.

But just seriously, right now, is there a single Republican who might potentially run for the White House that would generate as much excitement as Donald John Trump. But right now, what's amazing to see, and this is somewhat unprecedented in political history, we have seen the rise of a new pandemic in American politics.

It's Trump derangement syndrome 2.0. And it's happening within the ranks of the Republican Party. You've got people out there saying there's no way Trump can ever win again. All right, where's your basis for that? Where is your factual data?

Now, if you're out there and you're telling me something like that, and by the way, Chris Sununu, who is the governor of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu, among others, you have Chris Christie, you have Jeb Bush, you have all of these establishment Republicans, the RINOs, and they're out there saying, well, there's no way Trump can win. I know the Koch brothers, I think one of them's gone, so it's one Koch brother now. The Koch brothers are saying, well, we're not going to fund Trump. We're going to dump our money in candidates who will fight Trump.

Okay, good luck with that. I'm not sure that's a winning formula. But it might be. I don't know. I don't think so.

when you look at the polling data I'm seeing, Trump is the clear choice here. And if you go back to 2016, when you had, what, 17, 18 people in that race for the presidency, massive numbers, just about everybody was already in the race.

So far, no one has declared except for Donald Trump. He's it right now.

Well, two things. Number one, I love to see Carrie Lake be Trump's running mate.

Now, why Carrie Lake? Because I like the way she talks. I like the way she's fought. And the left hate her guts. Yeah, but you know what Trump hates, Victor?

Trump hates losers. And he hates losing. And I haven't seen Carrie Lake win anything just yet.

Well, didn't she fight the machine in Arizona even though she lost? She fought, but again, I'm just, I don't know if that's going to be enough. You know, again, I would like to see some leadership out of Carrie Lake. She's run for one office, and I'm not sure that's good enough to get, is she capable of being the next president of the United States should something happen to Trump? that's what we'll have to find out i guess but the second thing i wanted to talk about um just before i retired from the national library service for the blind um i was dragged into a so-called diversity training course and somebody started talking about white privilege and i got ticked off and i said okay you want to talk about privilege let's talk about sighted privilege and everything you've sighted people have done to the blind since the beginning of time.

And the instructor said, I'm going to report you to your supervisor. I said, go ahead. I don't care. Is that right?

So you threw it right back in their face. I threw it right back at them. Wow. And also, I tried to use my blindness one time. I was like nine years old, living in Massachusetts at the time.

and my mother and her parents decided to take us, my sister and me, up to Portland, Maine to see where my mother was born. And we were eating at this restaurant and I guess we were acting bratty and I guess you got a prize if you cleaned your plate and the waitress was going to give me a bag of marbles and my mother says, oh no, he didn't clean his plate enough. You don't give him the marbles. And then when we got home, she says, because you were bratty, we're not going to let you watch howdy doody tonight oh geez no howdy doody no howdy doody oh man your mom that she's a stickler a stickler for the rules father was at sea and i got it when i when he came home from sea was in the coast guard and i got a little bit more punishment for being a brat when we went to portland did you try to play the privilege well the privilege card didn't exist back in those days no you just had right and wrong right exactly all right victor well it sounds like your mom raised your right and we appreciate you calling in let's go to matt real quick in north carolina matt we got about 30 seconds what say you yes sir todd how you doing hello todd matt you got 30 seconds go okay quickly i will say top i mean trump is the one we need look at biden's mess that's all i have to say yeah i mean it's uh it is a mess and i think the only person that can pull us out of this and then and then prepare the next generation of america first candidates is donald trump and again i go back matt thanks for the call i go back to this one point ladies and gentlemen we would not be having this conversation had it not been for all of the lies spewed by the democrats the deep state and the mainstream media. You go back and just think about this.

Had there been no Russia collusion, there would have been no impeachment. There would have been no impeachment number two. You would have had President Trump in a second term in office by a landslide. But people bought the lies, and we know they're now lies.

But I'm curious as to why there is so much pushback in the Republican Party when Trump did a great job.

And by all indications, I think he deserves a do-over.

So I want to go to the phones here, 844-747-8868. Let's go to Georgia, WDUN. Dave wants to weigh in on this pressing issue. Hi, Dave. What's on your mind?

Hey, thanks for taking my call. First time I actually ever called, and this happened to be driving. And I hear you asking, should Trump be in? And the answer is absolutely not. This country seemed to be losing its morals.

I've never seen a candidate with such painted background be praised, and everyone just forgets about anything wrong with the man, just because they feel he can do X, Y, and Z.

So let's unravel some of this, Dave. Let's unravel this as we go along here.

So did you vote for, are you a Republican? Are you a Democrat? Who did you vote for? I don't claim either. I vote for, I listen to the issues, I listen to what pertains to me and affects me and what I would like to see happen, and that's who I vote for.

All right, well, that's fair enough. Fair enough.

So let's say John McCain and Obama. Who'd you vote for? Obama. All right, let's do Mitt Romney and Obama. Who'd you vote for?

Well, no, no, no. I'm just trying to understand what we're dealing with here. I voted Obama, but damn ticket. I don't just vote Democrat or Republican.

Okay, okay. Trump or Hillary, who did you go for? Hillary. All right. Okay.

I'm sensing a pattern here, though, Dave. And there's nothing wrong with the pattern. I just, again, you prefer the Democrats as opposed to the Republicans. Absolutely. Actually, no.

Let me tell you what I really want to say. Because McCain is a borderline Democrat, was. God rest his soul. You know, here's the crazy thing. is the American people are being played.

There's no such thing as a Democratic Party. There's no such thing as a Republican Party. It is called the federal government of the United States. When a law or policy comes out of that organization, whether they have the D on it or the R on it, it is done by the federal government of the United States.

So we can sit here and think about Democrats and Republicans, But the real deal is I go to work every day. My taxes are going up. Everything, inflation is going up. And what happens? I turn the TV on, and you're giving Ukraine how many billions of dollars?

Oh, you and I are in agreement on that. And I think we're in agreement on the fact that the federal government is running things and not the parties. But I think one of the things that sets Trump apart is he is really not a Republican. I don't want to yell that too loud, but he's really not a Republican. He's not a Democrat.

He's, I would say, probably the best version of an independent president that we've had in the history of the Republic. And I think this is one of the reasons why there's been so much hate and so many lies directed at him, because he was trying to clean up that mess in Washington, D.C.

Well, you know, if his approach maybe was a little different, like you said, you may not be sitting here having this issue. What do you mean his approach? How should it be different?

Okay, you speak with, like, you're distinguished. This is the biggest. Oh, I'm just a regular Joe here, Dave. I'm not speaking distinguished. We're the most powerful country in the world, and do we want to have a person that represents us, that speaks that way, and actually just because this is a nice America.

We have enough talent.

So you're telling me we don't have enough talent here that we have to turn to this. There's not enough talent here. There's not enough up-and-coming people in the Republican Party that you guys push that will other than Trump. I mean, that means you don't have enough talent here. Dave, the Democrat Party nominated a man who is borderline senile.

So I'm not sure I understand your point there. I'm not. No. And again, that's just as bad to me. We're giving our money away, and we're sitting here bickering back and forth between us.

And I've never seen where everything Republicans say, every Democrat goes against it. Everything the Democrats say, every Republican goes against it. Right then and there, I should tell American people that this is all a game and a sham, and all they're doing is, well, I got to go get a second job now. I got to go get a second job. You know why?

Because they're giving all the money away. They're giving the money away to other nations, and you take care of your home first before you go around giving out that money like that. I'm not saying don't help, but good Lord, I mean, I'm here in Georgia, and I work in the insurance industry. The roles are horrible. I mean, people are tearing up their cars.

I look at so many cars for pothole damages. Yeah, and that's Pete Buttigieg, the transportation secretary. The guy couldn't even fill the potholes when he was mayor of South Bend, Indiana, so they put the guy in charge of our nation's interstates and highways. I mean... And what does that say to you?

Okay, so in the real world, me and you do a bad job at our job. They don't invite us back. But Dave, I'm telling you, Trump did a great job, though. He delivered on all his campaign promises, and especially to the black community in this nation. And he actually went out there and said, give me a chance.

What do you have to lose? And what happened? You had higher black unemployment in decades under this president's tutelage.

So, you know, again, I hear what you're saying, but Trump is not a – no, no, no, listen now. Trump is not a Republican, Dave. You can't think like that. He is running in the Republican Party, but in his heart, he is an independent. Oh, absolutely.

I'm from New York. I grew up my whole life in New York. I grew up with Trump, knowing Trump and hearing Trump all my life.

So, yeah, I understand he's not a true Democrat or a true Republican. You're right. He probably is the most thing that we have to an independent candidate. Right. Yeah.

So that that is true. But let me say something. Obama used to make real quick. I did all this for the black community and unemployment went down and jail population. Listen, sometimes communities make changes within their own self.

Let's not just go around giving government officials all of all the credit for something that maybe parents in the community have identified the problem they're working on. And that's fair, Dave. But I will say this, that Trump didn't go out there and brag it. This wasn't like braggadocious. They were trying to paint the guy out to be a racist.

When, in fact, if you live in New York City, you know, this guy is the farthest thing from a racist. I mean, he's done so much for the for the black community that we don't even know about because that's just who he is.

So and but to but to his point, he was trying to explain to a lot of folks. And here in Memphis, Tennessee, we have this problem where it doesn't matter how lousy the candidate is, as long as they're a particular skin color and belong to a particular party, they're going to get the vote. And Trump is saying, hey, look, we've got to stop that. This is not helping anybody. Dave, I appreciate you calling.

You give us a holler back one of these days. And look, let's debate the issues. That's what this is all about. Let's go to – oh, we lost Bill, but we'll get to Bill in Cordova. Maybe he'll call back.

Let's go to Dave in North Carolina. Dave, what's on your mind? Hey, Todd, thanks for taking my call. I was just telling your call screener, and the other day was right about one thing. There are no Republicans.

There are no Democrats. They're all the same shade of gray up there. And those guys are doing backdoor deals. Our representatives do not represent us. Bottom line on that one.

The thing about Trump, and this is something I've said on your show before, I hear it all day, every day here. and when he came up for for diamond's funeral i heard again is and you're talking about what trump did well you got to run on your record and that's true but the past is the past and people are so tired of him whining about they stole the election they just there people out here who just will not uh you know because he can get over himself it You know it like he was entitled to it doesn I know it was a crooked election Dave, I think he was getting bad, I think he was getting bad campaign advice. And if you heard our interview we did in the last hour, he said nothing about the election fraud. It was about the issues. He may not have today, and I didn't hear the interview.

One step at a time, Dave.

Well, you know what? what people need to see from Trump, if Trump has a chance, because I think that he may end up being the nominee, and I'm looking at some real numbers out here, and I think if he is the nominee, he won't make it. What he needs to do is say, this is my plan, and he needs to put some positives out here. This is how I'm going to go about it. And the number, I don't know if you're hearing the way they're reporting numbers, is, oh, unemployment's lost.

They drove unemployment because of the shutdown, and now they're saying because we've had all these jobs that haven't been filled for so long, now they're saying we're creating bazillions of new jobs. No, they're not. The people that were overpaid for not working are now going back to work because the economy that's so good and isn't is so bad that people have to go to work to make ends meet.

So the best thing Trump could do is get out there and say, This is my plan. These are the facts. And have something to back it up. Stay focused. Right?

Stay focused. Positive message. And he needs to talk about anybody but Donald Trump. I like it. And, look, I think this president is going to surround himself with smart people that go around.

I think he understands. Look, he's been around the block as a politician. He knows what he needs to do. It's not smart people. It's not smart people.

He needs to get people who are in touch with the little people. I've told you before, down here in the 3rd District in North Carolina, we have a terrible representative. He comes out. You know, the Democrats have had the majority, so he'll come out on local radio the day after and say, oh, you know, it was terrible. I would have never voted for it, and it doesn't matter because I'm in the minority.

Okay, well, now we're not.

So I call and I talk to his staffers, and I say, I need my representative to represent me. He needs to get on somebody's desk, kick stuff around. We're not doing this. And they're already saying, the debt limit's going to be increased, but we need to get this for that. And when it doesn't happen and the debt limit is increased, which just sends us further over the edge, you know what he's going to say?

Well, you know, we did what we could, but we couldn't default. And we can. We do not need to increase the debt limit. Nobody's looking into that. Nobody's coming out with the truth on that.

We do not have to increase the debt limit. And that goes back to the fact that... No, we don't have to increase it, and we cannot increase it. And if McCarthy allows that to happen, then I expect one of the 20, one of the 21, to stand up and say, time for a new speaker. Dave, we've got to run.

I am super late for a break here. By the way, I posted something. I've got to stop doing this.

So I posted something on the social medias, and I pointed out, for those of you who missed the first hour, We talked briefly about this Grammy worship service for Satan, and CBS actually billed this as Worshiping Satan at the Grammys on national television.

Now, I just happen to know that there were a good many contemporary Christian artists. Many of those who are Christians in our audience, you listen to their music, you hear their music in your church, you go to their concerts. Gospel singers, they were all in attendance. and I just asked a simple question. Did any of those Christians get up and walk out?

Did anybody stand up and rebuke what was happening, or do they just sit there and participate? And I'm being told by some people in the know that were there that they saw those Christian artists, and not a single person got their butts out of that room.

So her time may be short-lived in the Biden administration. Just sharing that little tidbit with you, pay attention. Let's go to the phones here. North Carolina, Thomas on the line. Thomas, what's going on?

I just wanted to kind of say that I would rather have a fat woman break wind than hear a Democrat trying to say he's a Republican in reference to your last two calls. That's exactly what they are. Trying to get that visual out of my head, Thomas. Thank you for putting it there. You're welcome.

You know, Thomas, though, isn't it a shame? Because, you know, and I was talking to this guy who called in from Georgia, and he wouldn't say what he was.

So I just said, all right, well, who did you vote for? And it's very clear, you know, he's a Democrat. But, again, this is not an issue of Democrat or Republican. I agree with the guy. They're all pretty much the same.

The reality is that Donald Trump is different. He's cut from a different cloth, and that's why everybody hates the guy, at least in leadership. Yeah, like I told you before, I'm 1,000% behind Donald Trump.

Well, I'm glad to hear that, Thomas. And I suspect a lot of other people are as well. My only concern is the establishment Republicans, because if they don't get their way, they will try to sabotage, and they're notorious about doing that. Yeah, that's exactly right.

And I want to tell you, if they were in Alabama, if that balloon went over Alabama, no wonder it came down. No doubt about that. By the way, I owe you an apology. We had Mark Rick on the show last week, and he was wanting barbecue and a tour of Elvis, Graceland. I said, well, Pastor Gaines will hook you up with all of that.

Hey, if he'll come early enough, we'll do it. I told him, I said, Graceland's really nice now what they've done out there. Beautiful facility. It's beautiful, yeah. It's beautiful.

We've been out there for a Christmas concert. Don and I went out there this past Christmas. It was beautiful. I'm excited about this conference, Pastor, and the lineup is pretty extraordinary, from Velas Jones to Steve Green, Mac Powell, and the list goes on. I'm wondering why conferences like this are so important for men.

I believe that men, and nowadays when you talk about any difference between men and women, some people get upset, but I thank God for the difference. Men and women are different, and women, I believe, are better at relationships than men. And I think that men, many times, are a little bit more nomadic, whatever you want to call it. They're a little bit more loners. And we need the fellowship, though, just like everybody else does.

I've got three daughters, a wife, and eight granddaughters, and I can tell you that they are better at relationships than men are. But we have this conference every year because we also have Bible studies for our men throughout the year Because we believe that men need to get together The Bible says iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another I know it can be also, you know, applied to women But I believe that there's something about men being with men that love Jesus Christ And that that sharpens us spiritually I know that when I was first living for the Lord back at UT Martin, I was playing football there. If I had not been around those Christian athletes, I don't really know that I would have been growing like I did in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I believe that when men get with men that love the Lord Jesus, good things happen. You know, one of the things that impresses me about the lineup, a lot of these men are very outspoken in their faith.

Some of them have paid a price for that. And I'm thinking about Steve Green from Hobby Lobby. And yet, in spite of all the attacks, they have stayed true to their vision and really to their calling as a company and as believers. The Greens are genuine Christians. They love the Lord.

And I believe that any time anybody would try to come against them because of their faith in Christ, it seems like to many Hobby Lobby is doing pretty good. You know, it's kind of like the Chick-fil-A when people got mad at them about their Christian beliefs. It's still doing pretty good as well.

So I just believe that there's a time where you don't have to be mean when you take a stand for Christ, but you do have to be ready to take the shots that the folks will send at you if you stand for the Lord Jesus. And I'm grateful to God for seeing. One thing that I do have to say, we just found out that Bellis Jones will not be able to be with us. I think he's being traded or something like that, but it had something to do with his work, and he really wanted to come. But all the other guys are going to be there.

Mac Powell is one of the greatest singers I've ever heard in my life. Of course, you know, his voice is incredible. As you've already said, Steve Green, president of Hobby Lobby. and then David Pollock most people have seen him on ESPN College Game Day on Saturdays and what a great guy he is he's from Georgia and played college and pro football and then Mark Rick is going to be with us as well former head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs and I'll be speaking too but we've got a great lineup but the main thing is the Lord Jesus is going to be here we've got a lot of guys already signed up but we still have room for others. The fee just went up $5.

So anyway, we went on this cruise. I'm walking around the ship one morning, and there was a guy, and he was covered from head to toe. He was laying out getting sun, but he was covered head to toe, had a hat on, and he goes, Yo Starnes. And I'm like, stop and look, and I'm like, who is this guy? It was Mac Powell.

That's how he gets his sun, just lays out fully clothed. But great guy. Beautiful voice. I've sung some of his songs just to myself, you know, with the Lord. That one, I trust in Jesus, that rips my heart, man.

I just thank God that there are people that still sing about the gospel, and that song, Trust in Jesus, is about what are you going to do when you stand before God and there's nobody there to stand with you. He said, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to trust in Jesus. Wow, that's it. And he's strong, man.

He loves the Lord. All these guys genuinely love Christ. And then, of course, you've got Scott Dawson, who's kind of helping us put all this stuff together. And he's one of the finest evangelists I've ever met in my life. I love Scott Dawson.

All right, let's go to Boston. Connor on the line wants to weigh in on these Republicans. Hey, Connor, what's going on? Hey, Todd, starting to be a friend. You know, I'm going to tell you when it comes to Republicans, you know, I don't understand why they have been in office for almost a month now.

And they have not put articles of impeachment on the floor against President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Alejandro Mayorkas, for that matter. We hear so much on the campaign trail about what they're going to do when they get in there. And then when we get to the point when they actually are in there, nothing happens. If I were Speaker of the House right now, for this president's performance over these past two years, and he's just a god-awful performance, I would impeach him every single day until the cows came home.

So basically, when he leaves office, he could hold the record and he could put this on a little biography or a little resume for the most impeached president in the American district because he deserves it.

Well, he does deserve it, Connor, but we know that that's not going to happen because Kevin McCarthy said he has seen nothing that Biden has done thus far that would warrant impeachment, including, I have to imagine, letting an enemy fly a surveillance balloon over the heartland of the United States. And that's exactly why Kevin McCarthy, and I hope he and his people are listening right now, is a rhino. He is not a Republican. He is a rhino. And he's exactly what we thought he was going to be when he was having trouble getting sworn into or elected into that position.

So he is a rhino and he is a disgrace to the Republican Party. Connor, what do the Republicans need to do to change your mind about them right now?

Well, I think what needs to happen, and again, I vote Republican. I'm a conservative. But I'm going to tell you, we need to have Republican leaders up there who are going to keep their campaign promises, such as President Trump did when he was elected into office. We need people who are actually going to govern, do their work from day one, not take these vacations and this time off and these media appearances. No, we need somebody who's going to get up there, do the job, and get the job done for the party.

Connor, we're having trouble with your phone line there, but I think we got the gist of that, and we always appreciate you calling in. Thank you for that. Folks, look, right now there's a lot of speculation, a lot of guessing about what's going to happen in 2024. But every month that goes by, there will be less speculation and reality is going to set in. The New York Times published this hit piece on Kamala Harris over the weekend.

And this was not by chance. This is all by design. The Democrats know that Kamala has no future in politics. This is it. She can't be president.

She's barely the vice president. You may as well have a second grader writing her speeches right now.

So she's going to be out of the picture. If Biden, in fact, runs for re-election, she's going to be out of the picture.

So the Democrats are going to have to put somebody in that number two spot to be ready to take over, probably on day one, if Biden gets re-elected.

So who is that person going to be? I don't think it could be Pete Buttigieg. I think that person's either going to be Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama. And my money, if you ask me right now, is on Michelle Obama. That's where I think all of this is going.

Day by day, ladies and gentlemen, day by day. And can I just, Kyle, I got to hear it again. Cut number 11. Man, I love this country. I do.

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratliff was asked about all of these claims. We asked President Trump about it as well. Said it's not true. There were no spy planes, spy balloons that flew over America during the Trump administration. Cut number six, please.

John, the Biden administration is trying to minimize this explosive situation. in this past week. And the Department of Defense is claiming that there were three balloons, Chinese spy balloons that entered the United Space airspace during the Trump administration and that they were not shot down and they were not disclosed. Can you please tell us the truth and if that's true?

Well, it's not true. I can I can refute it. former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper refuted it yesterday. Former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo has refuted it. But, Maria, the American people can refute it for themselves.

Do you remember during the Trump administration when photographers on the ground and commercial airline pilots were talking about a spy balloon over the United States that people could look up and see even with the naked eye and that a media that hated Donald Trump wasn't reporting? I don't remember that either because it didn't happen. As I said to you earlier, this was unprecedented. We have never had a circumstance where an adversary has had spy craft over our country, our continental United States, posing a threat for the better part of a week straight. And that's why I said to you before, not only is it unprecedented, but the damage from this is incalculable, both from an intelligence standpoint and the possible payloads.

You talked a little bit earlier about the different types of payloads that a stratospheric balloon could carry. Those possibilities are limited only by your imagination. But what we do know is none of those are possible to be deployed against the United States if a stratospheric balloon isn't allowed to traipse across our countryside for four straight days, something that has never happened before.

So there you have it. Again, the Trump administration and the president on this program said, look, this never happened. This never happened. The Pentagon coming out and saying, yeah, we just it happened. We just didn't tell anybody.

I find that very hard to believe. But if that is, in fact, the case, then that sets up a case of who the question is, who is running this nation? What else is the Pentagon hiding from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? And the idea that Biden and he let this slip in his comments over the weekend, Biden said he he gave the order to shoot it down on Wednesday. But his advisers told him, no, we're going to wait.

So again, the question remains, who is running this nation? Who is controlling the Pentagon? And if you've got a rogue Pentagon out there doing Lord knows what, we could be in for a world of hurt.

So anyway, we're going to keep an eye on this story. Tomorrow, State of the Union address, we're going to have some analysis early on, and we're going to be providing coverage throughout the evening over on ToddStarns.com.
