Todd start. You know, one of the interesting things I do, it's.

Well, you know what no, it's not Someone said it was self-harm. No, it's not self-harm. But one of the things that I do is watch CNN and I read the New York Times and I read the Washington Post and I watch PMS now. And one of the reasons why I do that, ladies and gentlemen, is so that you don't have to.

So, no, it is not.

So I was talking to somebody earlier today, and they said, why do you, Sterns, why do you watch all these far-left radicals? Why do you watch the Caitlin Collins of the world and the Jake Tappers and the Anderson Coopers and all of those folks? And it, no, it is not a form of self-harm. It is just so that you don't have to expose yourself to their nonsense.

So last night, I'm watching CNN. and they had a feisty panel going on. And this panel is all over the voter ID issue. They're very upset about the voter ID issue. And the females on the panel, and they really make the squawking magpies.

Over at the view, look like Republicans. I mean, these are far left gals we're talking about here. And they're yammering about all sorts of things, but their basic gist is that the reason why we can't have voter ID is that most women in America. Are not smart enough to get a form of identification. I mean, that's their argument.

And they also said there's another demographic here. They say the rural folks, you country folk out there, that you are just not smart enough. You lack the intelligence level to go out and to get a form of identification.

Now, the argument here is that you need an ID to do just about anything in this country. If you want to go down to, we were talking about this a couple of weeks ago, I had a little bit of a cold, the flu, and so I went down and got some, I don't know, Theraflu, Nyquil. And I'm bellying up to the bar there at the pharmacy, and they're like, Yeah, we got to see your ID. You have to show an ID just to get. I mean, if you want to get on board an airplane, you got to go fly.

And by the way, this argument. This argument that poor people and country folks and women are not capable of getting an idea is just simply outrageous. And we know that because we've all seen the TikTok videos of what goes on on those carnival cruise lines. It's insane. It looks like a rap video gone wild.

Well, how did all those people get on board that boat? Because not only do you need an ID, you also need a passport.

So, anyway, this was the topic of conversation last night on CNN. I want you to take a listen to Abby Phillip, by the way, one of the most horrible people on that entire network. And that is. Wow, that is saying something here. But uh here's Here's Abby Phillips last night.

Take a listen to Cup 3. Before it's not, it actually, there's an argument to be made that red state voters, women, poor white voters could be just as you think they're dumb too, don't you? Yeah, I mean, that's the thing. Nobody has to do that. I've heard these arguments.

I've heard Democrats all the time. No, please, please don't. No, no, no. There's a question from talking about it becomes racism. I'm actually tired.

You should be thinking about your constituents or your regular campaigns. Hold on, hold on. Most Americans don't have a passport. Many Americans don't have access to their birth certificate. Many women, a majority of women who change their names for marriage have to provide additional proof that they've changed their names in order to register to vote.

I have heard Democrats. Why don't you actually respond to the substance of what I'm saying? I am. And I'm just making laws about something that it's not. It's not just about who has access to the victims.

And rural people are too stupid to figure out how to register to vote. That is not what the friends are saying. Excuse me. Of course, that is not what she said. Let me offer you a bad person.

I'm saying they can't figure out how to argue. Let's not get off. Majority of Americans do not have passports. Many Americans, including white people, okay, do not have their original birth certificate or access. You didn't say what?

You said rural. I would love to offer the proof of it. Yeah, because that is also relevant. It doesn't matter to me where people are. I guess I have a little more faith in rural America and married women that you can't.

I don't know why.

Okay, my apologies. I know it's the lunch hour for those of you on the East Coast, and that just upset your appetites. Excuse me. Jeez a Lou. This is why nobody watches CNN.

It's just insanity.

So I'm curious. We have a large female audience, and ladies, no, not large in that way, we just have a. We have a good number of ladies that listen to the Ton Starns radio show. And ladies, I'm just curious. Those of you who, one of the arguments that was made, is that when women get married, they have a hard time getting all of their documentation together.

So, ladies, is this true? Is this true that when you got married, did you have difficulty getting all of your documents together and making sure that those of you that took your husband's name, that your driver's license was changed and all of your passport information was changed? Was that a problem for you? Have you been denied the right to vote? As a result of that.

And again, to this day, and we mention this periodically on the show. Is that we want to hear from you if you. Joe Blow American. If you have If you've been denied the right to vote because you don't have a form of idea, I just wanted to hear from you. How many of you are not able to get an ID?

Because that's the argument coming from the Democrats here. Here's Congressman Mark Harris, and he sort of just lays it all out there for the American people. Take a listen. What do airplanes, Costco, alcohol, tobacco, entering a nightclub, and opening a checking account all have in common? I know.

You have to show your ID. We require identification for everyday activities. Why on earth would we not require it for something as sacred as determining the future of this republic? When the Save America Act becomes the law of the land, three simple things will be true. Number one, everyone who shows up to vote in a federal election will have to show their photo ID.

Number two, states will only register American citizens to vote in federal elections. And number three, states will actually have to remove non-citizens from the voter rolls. Every American, Republican, Democrat, or unaffiliated, wants to know that their vote counts and is not canceled out by someone who is here illegally. This bill ensures just that. The right to vote is precious, and the SAVE Act restores confidence, strengthens integrity, and protects the voice of every lawful American citizen.

I'm confident my colleagues in the House will do the right thing and vote to secure our elections.

So I address my colleagues in the Senate. Save America. Bring this bill to the Senate floor to debate. Own your position in front of the American people. You must use every tool at your disposal, including the talking filibuster, to ensure that this bill makes it to President Trump's desk.

We cannot delay securing our elections and defending our republic. Yeah, no, he's absolutely right. And I will say this. That this is not some sort of an anomaly. And the You've got these, and this is coming from the Democrat Party, and not just the black, not just the Congressional Black Caucus, but pretty much the Democrat Party, is that black people are going to be disenfranchised here.

And I just find that to be grossly offensive and, quite frankly, borderline racist. Because every black person I know, and I know a lot of black folk, every person I know has an ID. They have access to IDs. They know how to get an ID if they needed to get an ID. They know how to do that.

And to suggest otherwise is just really sort of offensive. And the idea that country people, that good old, that the good old boys, the folks who drive tractors, that you folks, you don't have the knowledge necessary to obtain some form of identification, I just find that to be outrageous.

So I will say this. I know country people because those are my people. The country folk are my people. And I will say, speaking, I don't want to speak on behalf of country people, but all you country folk out there, I am going to speak on our behalf. Because You're not some sort of a dumb hillbelly.

You're not a country bumpkin. No, you're not. You're an intelligent American citizen. But there are some out there who say that this is some sort of an evil. Forcing people to show an ID at the ballot box is some sort of an evil.

Well, I just want to point out here the the countries That requires you to have some sort of an identification to go and vote on election day. That would be Iceland, Sweden, New Zealand, Denmark, Canada. Ireland, Switzerland. Finland, Australia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, the UK, Spain. Uruguay.

Japan, Italy, France, South Korea, Costa Rica, South Africa, Lithuania, Taiwan, the Czech Republic. Shall I go on Israel, Hungary, Colombia? I mean, it just goes on. We are one of the few countries That do not require a voter ID.

So I'm just telling you right now, ladies and gentlemen. Isn't it about time that the United States joined the rest of the world and secure? our federal elections.

Hey, I was just calling in about the uh I D and all that. Um, I've had a first kiss ticket since the day I was born, so I have an ID. I also have a driver's license that I've had since I was 15 years old. I recently went to the Bahamas and I had to get a passport for that, so I have an ID for everything. And for everybody that comes into the United States from another country, I think they should have IDs also.

I think they should be able to speak English, write it and understand it. If you're here in America and you want to be here, you should learn to speak our language and write it and understand it. I don't care where you work or what you do. I don't want to go to a fast food restaurant or another restaurant where they don't understand what I'm saying. I expect whoever I'm dealing with to understand what I'm saying and I can understand them.

Pat, I like the way you think. And again, you think like that because you're a country girl, right? And country people, we've got a healthy dose of common sense about us, don't we? Right, I do. I live out in the country.

I'm not stupid. I'm not college graduated. I graduated high school, but I have a job and I can do math and all that stuff. And get myself back and forth to work. I can fill out applications or whatever for a job.

And and I go to work, I want to see everybody. And take care of my family, pay my bills, have no problem with that. And I'm a single great-grandmother. you know, and I expect you've got some people with some things I do. I don't I mean, I will take it past it mostly.

So, you know, if I can do it as a great grandmother, I'd take anybody else to be able to do it, that's But they were the right age. Good for you, Pat, and you're a great American patriot. And what do you want to tell those old folks over at CNN? Because they really do think, and by the way, Pat, this has been going on for generations, all the way back to the 1960s when they got rid of Greenacres and the Beverly Hillbillies, and they did the big rural purge on CBS because they thought that there's something wrong with country folks. What do you want to tell the good people over at CNN?

But they don't have any plants. They don't know what's really going on in the world. They need to get out into the country and live like a country person. That's it. Yeah.

But it's really going on in another part of the world. And I get down here and where it's really. Dolly? And you know, you got to get out and make a living. Work on the phone for a while, see how things are where people really have to get out and make a living instead of sitting behind a desk all the time and talking about stuff they don't know about.

Instead of going to get your organic vegetables at Whole Foods, why don't you grab a hoe and go out there and dig yourself up a carrot or a potato? Or something. Exactly. All right, Pat, thank you. All right, thanks a lot, Pat.

But Southwest Airlines coming under fire, it turns out there was an employee, and she posted a note on her social media page. And she said, You know what, folks? I'm pro-ICE, pro-military, pro-Trump, pro-life, pro-Charlie Kirk.

Somebody got triggered by her message on her personal Facebook page, took a screenshot and called her bosses and asked if they supported her.

So in response, Southwest Airlines went on social media and they insinuated the woman had violated company policy. She may be in trouble.

So the airline said that they follow the golden rule and champion a culture of inclusiveness. They also said that employees who violate those policies are matters of utmost importance.

So, what the heck here? Makes you wonder why Southwest's policy of inclusiveness does not include people who support ICE or President Trump. I don't know who's running Southwest Airlines' social media feeds. Did they hire Dylan Mulvaney? Is that what's going on here?

Anyway, you know, Southwest, they've come under fire because I guess they abolished their first-come, first-serve seating policies.

Now passengers are given a seat assignment. But it looks like Conservatives no longer have a seat. on Southwest Airlines, and maybe that's for the best. All right, got to take a break here. 901-260-5926.

Now, I want to talk briefly about something that happened earlier today. Tom Holman making a pretty significant announcement that they're officially. done with their operations in Minneapolis. It's over and they're pulling everybody out. And I think we all sort of we all sort of knew this was going to happen when they when Greg Bavino from Border Patrol was given the heave ho.

And Christine Ohm, all of them have been facing a lot of ferocious. Ferocious anger ferocious. from the um from the media, from establishment Republicans. And well, I I just need to call it like it is. I mean, what we saw today is nothing more than a full and complete surrender to the invaders in Minneapolis.

So they're pulling out all of the ICE agents. It's going to be a full, complete withdrawal. And it's nothing more than a surrender to the invaders, the Democrats. The Polsters And the legacy media. I mean, it really is that simple.

Now, Holman said that he proposed, and President Trump concurred, that the surge operation conclude. And all of this is because of the two protesters who attacked federal agents. and were then killed. The Department of Homeland Security said 4,000 people have been arrested since the crackdown began, and that's it. Homan said, quote, I don't want to see any more bloodshed.

I pray every night for the safety of law enforcement personnel and the safety of those in the community. Whether you're here legally or illegally, I don't want to see anybody harmed. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry taking a victory lap. They thought they could break us, but a love from our neighbors and our resolve to endure can outlast an occupation. These patriots of Minneapolis are showing that it's not just about resistance.

Standing with our neighbors is deeply American.

Well, all I can say is Our thoughts and prayers ought to be with the hardworking taxpayers of Minnesota because you people just got screwed. You got screwed by your government. Because today the government, the federal government, handed the good people of Minnesota back over to that rampaging mob of illegals. and the Somalians. And it's pretty clear to me that they have been abandoned by their government.

And I just think the good people of Minnesota deserve better. And I don't know. I don't know who needs to hear this within the administration. But they're not serving President Trump very well right now. And that goes for Pam Bondi, who yesterday, and look, I appreciate that she was going toe-to-toe with all these Democrats, I mean, but she came across unhinged at times.

And by the way, Her job was to explain this Epstein situation, and every time she was asked about it, she pivoted and talked about how great the economy was. Pam Bundy is the Attorney General of the United States of America. She's not the Treasury Secretary. Her job at that hearing was not to convey how well the stock market was doing. It was to explain what exactly is going on with the Epstein files.

And it's in my and this is just how I see it. It just seems as though One of the biggest problems in this administration is that far too many staffers, far too many Cabinet members are more focused on getting jobs at the Guthrie News channel than they are their jobs. That would be Fox News. In case you haven't been watching lately. Wall-to-wall coverage.

That's the most important story. Fox News says the most important story in America right now is the search for Savannah Guthrie's missing mother, who we do hope they find her. And it's a horrible story, but is it. The number one story in America. A lot of people go missing.

A lot of people get kidnapped. But the media is all over this one. But I think that's the big problem is that Bondi and many, many others I mean, look at Bongino. He wanted to get back to the big money from his T V gig. I got no problem with that.

But why would you jump into the administration? You're not doing it for your country. You're doing it for your bottom line. And there's nothing wrong with that. Just get out of the government and let somebody get into the government who can actually do the job.

And we'll talk more about, we're going to talk more about Epstein later, which this week, which is tomorrow. And we're going to talk about that because I. From day one, I have said release the files. Let the chips fall where they may. But here's the problem, is that the administration is really butthurt over this because Trump did not want those files released because, as he put it, there are a lot of innocent people and there's a lot of fabrications, unproven stuff.

Well, fine. Don't include the unproven stuff. Look, if there are things in those files. that were investigated and it turned out there was nothing there.

Okay. But the reality is, there's a lot of very bad stuff in there, and they don't want it coming out. But now it's looking, and hear me on this. All these allegations of the worldwide pedophile rings and the Pizzagate and all of that. It's turning out to be true.

and that should alarm all of us. And because it wasn't but a couple of years ago that conservatives who were bringing up those stories were labeled as conspiracy theorists, wackos. But now, according to the files, We know those accusations to be true now.

While all that's going on. You've got hearings up on Capitol Hill, and here's what gets me. Is that the administration saying our work here is done? There's nothing else to do in Minnesota.

Meanwhile, they're wasting our tax money up on Capitol Hill by holding these Senate hearings today. You've got Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. I want you to listen to what Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin had to say to him. I As a government official, would have said Back off. Let us work with ICE.

Let's cooperate with them. Let's see if we can't de-escalate this. But Attorney General, you did the exact opposite. And two people are dead. Because you encourage them to put themselves into harm's way.

And now you're exploiting those two martyrs. That was a tragedy. It never should have happened.

Now we can investigate. But uh I can't imagine being a law enforcement official. Where I know my colleagues have been shot at, their vehicles rammed. that they are trained activists deployed And by the way, we know at least one of those activists. and a semi-automatic pistol with extra clips.

So now you're an ICE officer. You're doing enforcement action. You've got a team behind you trying to protect you. You've got all these. Trained activists behind you, is it any wonder they're at hair trigger alert?

A tragedy was going to happen, and you encouraged it. And you ought to feel damn guilty about it. Thank you, Mr. Chairman.

Okay. Yeah, sit there and smirk. Smirk, it's sick. It is despicable. Are you asking me for comment, Senator?

Because everything you said was untrue. It was a nice theatrical performance, but it was all lies. No, it was the truth, Mr. Ellison. And again, I appreciate we're having these hearings, but why?

We've pulled out. The federal government says we're done here. And you know what? It's not that the problem has been resolved. I mean, the grift is still there.

It's been being that grift has been investigated for years, but nobody wants to actually do anything about it. They want to yammer about it. They want to yell and scream about it and get righteously indignant about it. But nobody actually wants to do the job of going after the bad guys that are stealing billions of our tax dollars. By the way, here's Congressman Brandon Gill just a little while ago, cut 10.

Mr. Balu. Again, thank you for being here. Let me ask you: Does large-scale Somali immigration make Minnesota stronger or weaker? Certainly stronger.

Certainly stronger. Do you know what percentage of Somali-headed households in Minnesota are on food stamps? No. 54%. Do you know what that number is for native Minnesota-headed households?

Well, to be clear, a majority of those. It's 7%. There's a big difference between 54% and 7%, is there not? Excuse me, sir. Could I answer the question?

Let me move on. We've got a lot of questions here. What percentage of Somali-headed households in Minnesota are on Medicaid? I don't know. It's 73 percent.

Do you know what that number is for Minnesota native households? Again, you're using the phrase Minnesota native households, but the majority of the number. The number is 18 percent. That's quite an astounding difference. I think we would.

Can I answer the question, please? Let me ask you one more and then we can go on to that. What percentage of Somali-headed households are on welfare in general? I don't know. It's 81 percent.

What about let me just ask you: after 10 years of being in the United States, what percentage of Somali immigrant households are on continue to be on welfare? I don't know. The number is 78%.

So even after 10 years, 78% of Somali immigrant households continue to be on welfare. Do you know what that number is for native Minnesota-headed households?

Again, you're using phrases. Non-Somali immigrant-headed households. If I can just answer the question, you're using the phrase native Minnesotans. The majority of Somali Minnesotans are as Minnesotan as any of us. They were born in the United States.

It's only 8,000. Of the 108,000 in the mall. Nevertheless, the welfare usage is astoundingly different. Let me ask you again, does that make Minnesota stronger or weaker? Again, I'd like the opportunity to answer the question here.

So again, the majority of Somali Minnesotans are born in the United States. As I understand it, what percentage of working age Somalians who have been in the U.S. for 10 years or more, 10 years or more, how many of them speak English very well? I don't know. About half.

The answer is about half. That seems pretty low, doesn't it? Yeah, it does. And again, ladies and gentlemen, this is why, this is why we need. We need people there.

Getting a lot of blowback. This is from Brad Oland, who describes himself as an independent, conservative, pro-life Christian. All right. Todd, that's a bunch of crap, and you know it. The Trump administration and cabinet bust their ass every day for you, Todd, and all you do is constantly B-word because their priorities don't match with exactly how you want it done.

Well, let me respond to Brad here. First of all, you need to clean up your language. What a filthy mouth for a Christian conservative. But Brad, your language aside, the reality is that we elected this administration. We elected Donald Trump.

We elected the Republicans to do a job. And this is not a matter about how to do the job. This is a matter about doing the job. And if you pull out the federal agents out of Minnesota, out of Minneapolis, the job's not going to get done. The reason why they're pulling this out is because of the optics.

That's the only reason, and they were getting bad press. That's the only reason they're pulling out of Minneapolis. And I don't work off anybody's talking points. I never have, never will. And if that angers the Trump administration, well, so be it.

What say you? My brother, I I Um uh it's frustrating for me. The Min the home in Portland out of Minnesota. We're just basically given the markets That's been setting us up for the emasculation of men from the women's rights movement of the 60s and 70s and 80s. that's puppeteers and the emasculating the men Instead of doing what's righteous, We're going to enable we just gave Mexico as fifty three consulates in this country Five in my state alone in Oregon.

the right to basically undermine our government, use the nonprofits and NGOs to backstab from behind and us, the law-abiding citizen and our good law enforcement in every have their hands tied, just like what they're doing in my state since 2021. Oh, we won't arrest these guys, but if you're an American, you're Oregonian or whatever state you're from, you're Christian, we are going to put the whole book at you and then use political deniability. to destroy them within. And if you don't believe me, Go on firepower this week, ladies and gentlemen, and watch YouTube and watch American history be shown and how the devil is trying to undermine our constitutional republic.

I mean, when you look at what's happening, for example, in Houston, Texas, where just about every school is out marching in the streets, you folks in Memphis, Tennessee, we understand one of the high schools in Memphis today.

The kids are going to be marching out of class, causing mayhem in the streets, which is what they've been doing in Houston, especially, where they're literally attacking innocent people, these kids. At what point are we going to start cracking down on this? Is what I want to know. All right, real quick, I want to go to Anna in Georgia. Hi, Anna.

What's on your mind? I just wanted to make a comment about Pambandi. Pam Bonnie. Uh was annihilated yesterday. But there the reason sh the re I understood why she was while she was making comments about the market.

Because They were after Trump. And that was that's what they do. That's their strategy. They get somebody up there always recalling their time. They're all when they don't like something that somebody says They recall their time.

This is the strategy of the left. And Pam Bondi Wait. attempting to support the President of the United States. B That wasn't probably a good time to do it, but she had enough. And I understand that whole thing.

I understand what she was trying to do. But she would set herself up for these fools On the web oh, it was the worst I don't think I've ever because I watch these things. And I don't think I have ever seen anything so pompous and arrogant. as the Democrat Party, that I mean, I know there's got to be some Democrats the uh conservatives, but they're not speaking up. And we're in a bad we're in a bad definitely in a bad position right now because he's pulling people out.

Uh Minnesota. Like Ron said. They are, they're giving in. And I, you know, Todd, a lot of those people that were picketing, they weren't picketing. They were paid protesters.

No doubt about it. Anna, you're 1,000% right. And most of them were paid protesters. And what sort of a message did we just send to those paid protesters? Anna, I got to run.

Dr. Yousf, thank you so much for calling in today. Oh, special honor to be with you, my dear friend. Thank you for having me. You know, I am just, I am so thankful that you have written a book because I truly do believe this is the rise of Islam, is one of the greatest threats to the Republic.

What say you? Absolutely, because and not just the Republic, it's the entire Western civilization. and they already feel that they have had success. in the UK and Australia and Canada and other parts of Europe. And now they're focusing their attention on the United States.

No, the problem is most people don't realize this. But there is a strategy, there's a plan. It was written long time ago And been uh modified and brought up to so everything I have or written about is It's from their material. This is not something done in secret. This is something they are doing well in the open.

We're wanna we're gonna come and we're gonna take over and we're gonna exercise soft jihad first, but then we can once we take the halls of power. In fact, one of the leaders here in the Keralina was bragging that they have six hundred candidates This midterm running for different offices from School boards, to city councils, to Congress, and they said it's just a matter of time. No, probably we we used to say twenty fifty, but they said before before that we will have uh a President, a Muslim President in the White House. You know, Dr. Youssef, this is already happening to a great extent in New York City, where Zoran Mamdami, the Ugandan Muslim, he ran on a very moderate campaign.

Well, a progressive campaign, but he was moderate in his outreach to Jewish groups and others. And yet, now that he's mayor, he's pushing the Jews aside. He's coming under fire for pushing the Catholics aside. Are you surprised by that? Not at all.

Not at all. This is called, he's a Shiite Muslim. as opposed to Sunnis. And then Shia Shiazm developed this uh jurisprudence years ago when they're beginning fighting with the Sunnis, they the different groups basically differ over who is the rightful successor or caliph to Mohammed. They think Ali was his cousin, and the the Sunni said, now his friends were.

And so that war continued for a long time. It's still actually going on. But back then they developed something called Takia. Takia is basically this. that you can lie to your enemy I mean bold face, and not just exaggerate or hide the truth, no, boldly lie until you get the upper hand.

And so every time I see him on television, he says, well, it's not the language I use, this is not this, this I said, wait until he gets elected. You're going to see a total change, a total, complete change. And now he's showing his color. and he wouldn't go to the to St. Patrick's Cathedral for the induction of the new Archbishop.

He had nothing to do once to do with Catholics or Christians or Jews. And that is his true colour. One of the things that I know you cover in the book, and by the way, folks, the book, An Unholy Alliance, got to get yourself a copy of this. One of the things I've never really understood, Dr. Yousf, is how you'll see the LGBT community partnering up alongside the Islamists who literally want to throw them off of rooftops.

Exactly. Exactly. And not only that, the fact there are videos making uh the rounds We're a transgender holding placard saying, trans for Palestine. And uh a woman got up and beat him. She said, Get out of here.

We don't want the likes of you. And this is this what I call the omni the omni protest. Basically, the the Greens, the the LGBQT all want to now get on the act for Palestine. From river to the sea. And they don't even know what they're talking about.

What river, what sea. When somebody asked one of those demonstrators, said, No, I don't know what that is. I've just repeated because that's what they're saying.

So yeah, absolutely. This is very, very, very disturbing. And I I'm concerned about it. I know that in the end Our God wins, we win. But in reality there will be a l a whole lot of suffering in between.

I lived In Egypt during Nasser, who was a socialist Muslim. And he's one of the early ones who began to marry socialism to Islam. And but then what happened their alliance between the Muslim Brotherhood and the military hunter Uh once the military hunter got into power, he basically either put him in prison or killed him.

Now the same thing happened again. in nineteen seventy nine during the Iranian Revolution. The l the the left is socialist They're the ones who really carried the revolution in Iran. And as soon as Khomeini flew in, within twelve months, all of these these guys and Berhasab Benisadar, I guess you're not old enough to remember that, he's a Prime Minister and the Minister and they're all English speaking, brilliant guys And they all all got beheaded. And the mullahs took over.

And so this is an unholy alliance. It's a alliance of convenience.

Somebody, one of them is gonna kill the other. But meanwhile The average person in the street doesn't know that. And they think, well, they're all united, they're working together. And they only one have one aim, and that's wis destroy Western civilization because it represents an absolute antithesis of the Sharia and what Allah wants the world to be, and that is ruled By the Islamic law, the Sharia law, which by the way, it was not given to Muhammad like the Ten Commandments were given to Moses. The Sharia is basically a bit of hodgepodge.

They took a piece from here and a piece from there and they made one. And you chop the hand of the thief, you stone the adulterer and stone the what they call the riddah or somebody who turned away from Islam. All all these are bits and pieces put together, and they come up with this sharia. But it's just uh uh some of the teaching of Islam. And now they are rejected, the Muslim Brotherhood absolutely rejected in Egypt.

They're outlawed in the in the United Arab Emirates, in Bahrain, in Jordan, even in Saudi Arabia. And yet they are given not just a big welcome in the West, They handed satellite channels in order to propagate the stuff back into these Arab countries that have rejected them. I want to jump in here because we have seen something just dramatic happen across Western Europe. And when you look at what's happening, for example, in the UK, what should we hear in the United States, what should we be concerned about with what's happening in, say, for example, France and the United Kingdom?

Well And as a matter of fact, uh that I twenty years ago I spoke to a group of leaders in England. because we have an office there, we had a ministry there for twenty seven years, And I came and I said, look, this is what they are doing. They're creating this no go zone zones area up and down the island of England, and then they're going to start building ribs around it until they choke you. And that's exactly what they're doing now. They're doing Texas, Not GoZones, Epic City and all it's the same.

It's the same strategy. They never changed it. And we ought to be awake and realize and see what happened in England and France about the no go zones and this Sharia compliant cities and courts That's gonna what they're gonna do here.

Now, I know that places like Deerfield, Michigan, and Paterson, New Jersey, they all have gone.

Well Texas? My goodness gracious, I have so many friends in Texas. And I'm saying, guys, wake up and stop this from happening. But there are naive politicians on both sides, by the way. who think, oh, no, that's just they want to practice a religion, we ought to give them the freedom to do that.

No, that is in order that they can exercise on a killing without a policeman coming in and messing around with them. Dr. Michael Youssef is joining us today on our Patriot Mobile newsmaker line. You know, you mentioned Texas, Dr. Youssef. I was reading a survey last night, doing some prep work for our conversation, and I was really astounded to learn about the number of states where Islam is now the fastest-growing religion, and it's especially growing fast in the southern and midwestern states, which you would typically think would be the Bible Belt. That's exactly what they're focusing on because they know if they succeed. And I see I think the top of the list was Alabama, and I saw that.

And then it goes down to Arkansas. And yes, I mean, they know because if they succeed here, And they're trying to snook at people by under the guise of well, It's a religion, it's a religious freedom, we just want to have freedom to practice our religion.

Well, that would have been fine and good if it is just a religion, but it's a political system that is totally opposed and antithesis to the Constitution. I got a question here from one of our listeners, Sydney in California, says, Todd, if you're able to ask Dr. Youssef, is there still hope for the countries that you just mentioned, places like the UK and France? Is there any hope there?

Well, always hope I'm, I'm always a hopeful person, but I don't see how. Once you see they have a one modus operande, and that is fear. Once they instilled fear in the heart of the policemen, the bobbies in England. Uh and these are g well good people. I've known some of them years ago.

And But they instilled fear in them.

So they would go and arrest a a poor person preaching the gospel on the street side. They arrest him. and they said, You're offending Muslims, but the Muslims can take over Oxford Street ten thousand of them block the entire traffic. to do their prayer. and the police just stand on the sideways and can't touch them.

See, now they know in their hearts we have instilled fear in the authorities, and therefore there is no turning back. God can do the impossible. I pray every day that God will send a revival. Maybe one of our Muslim converts, many of them I have met and people who come to Christ in a supernatural, miraculous way, that God would use to bring a revival and wake up England and France before it's too late. But I fear that while it is not too late for us here in the States, I think it may be too late for England.

What do you want us to do here? And what can we do? Because there are plenty out there who say, well, we have freedom of religion here, so you have to let the Muslims come in and build their private communities and their mosques and things of that nature. What do we do?

Well, first of all, we need to be sure not to vote for anyone. Who is in the slightest sympathetic. And by the way, I always make the distinction. Between Muslims and Islamists. I have some Muslim friends, heads of states.

in in the mid the Middle East. I know them well. They do they're more opposed to Islama Islamism than we are. Because one leader said to me without mentioning names, he leaned over, this is several years ago. He said, Dr.

Yusuf, can you please explain to me? This is a Muslim friend I have. And the leader of his country, he said, we kicked him out of here. and they become outlawed here. How can they go to England and they give them a satellite station, a television station, to broadcast Islamism?

So there is a difference between a Muslim and I as I said, I have many Muslim friends. There are min many of them are opposed to Islamists. And so make that distinction.

So in the slightest candidate who is in the slightest Sympathetic to Islamism, to care, and that Muslim Brotherhood group. then I would absolutely not vote for that person. I don't care what he says, what rationalization he may bring about, all freedom of religion, all that. That's not freedom of religion. That is a political entity that is invading invading this country and trying to change the constitution and turn it into Sharia.

So that's not just that's the many wonderful Muslims, and you can can you can tell the difference. But the ones who are activists, the ones who are running for political office, the ones who want to really control the political system, they are all Islamists. They have that ideology. And so I I wanted to make sure that that point is well taken. Yes, absolutely.

Yes, I can tell that the Attorney General of the State of Tennessee is asleep at the switch. When we, you know, you were talking about all the stuff you were talking about. What kind of stuff was I talking about, Frank? We've talked about a lot of stuff on today's show. What are you talking about?

I got in a little bit later Islam stuff and everything and See, these people are being voted in as city mayors, county mayors. And I had someone tell me yesterday. They're they're taking our child to the hospitals and everything, and they're all ingrained in these hospitals. They got all this stuff, and the only thing you can see of them is their eyes. And then so forth.

And the reason I know that the Attorney General The Constitution has already been lost in the state of Tennessee, and I have hard evidence for that.

Okay, I have no earthly idea what you're talking about here, Frank.

So let's get right to it. What is your issue with the Attorney General of the State of Tennessee? When a politician raises his right hand and swears a no to the Constitution, the reason they're doing that is because they're supposed to Okay, Frank, Frank, we don't have a lot of time here. That's why I'm asking you. What is your problem with the Attorney General of the State of Tennessee?

He's not prosecuting people that are violating the Constitution. Amendment six says that Hughes shall enjoy the right to his speech. And public trial by an impartial. Give me a specific example. What is this?

All right, you know what? Let's put Frank goodbye. When Frank can put together a thought here, we will put him back on the air. Let's go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Live. Republican strategist Luke Simbolt joins us.

Luke, a lot going on politically, and the president, of course, pulling out all the ICE agents out of Minneapolis. We've got hearings underway up on Capitol Hill right now where, according to what the senators are telling us, Republican senators, Minneapolis is the center of all of this crime and grift. It's like mixed messages all over the place today. Who is in charge of the messaging coming out of the administration right now? I don't, you know, Stephen Miller cannot.

Do everything.

So, do we need to have a meeting? Do we need to reconvene? Is Caroline Levitt, where is she? It's very frustrating. Tom Holman's press conference, I found.

tremendously discourager and his announcement this morning was t was tremendously discouraging. And I really think, and thank you for sounding the alarm on this, but I really think that. This is the wrong message to send right now. Things had quieted down. in Minneapolis.

We had some local involvement. Of course, we still had protests. Of course, we still had some issues there. But Governor Waltz had toned down his rhetoric. The mayor had been a little quieter lately.

And so we were starting to succeed. And the vast majority of the country knows how important it is to enforce the law. And I just think it's the wrong message. I'm surprised And disappointed, and I don't know if there is a plan, but I'm not one of these. three D chess people who thinks that every single move that I may not like can be summed up to just, oh, there's three D chess, I don't know what's going on behind the scenes.

Maybe that's the case, but I just I don't know that this is the right call right now to be backing down. Yeah, I don't get it. I know I'm getting the hate mail from Republicans saying, oh, you hate Trump, you know, get with the program. No, I don't hate anybody. And I don't even think this is on President Trump.

I think this is on the cabinet-level positions and the government agencies. And the Justice Department has been off the rails for, gosh, almost from the start of the administration here. And Homeland Security, the way they were handling Minnesota initially, it was insane. And we all, everybody could see it. And it's just really frustrating because we cannot afford these unforced errors.

I agree with you. And again, we were starting to win on the narrative in Minneapolis again. We just there needs to be slightly more organization at least around the messaging. And I was caught very off guard by what Tom Homan said, and I and a lot of people were caught Off guard. And so again, I think it is more pedal to the metal on arrests and law and enforcement, not retreat.

And what we don't want to show these activist groups around the country, and particularly the people that are funding those groups, that we will back down to pressure, that we will back down when it gets uncomfortable. I just don't know that it's the right message to send and Todd, you don't need to apologize. for holding a light up to this despite the hate mail that you're getting, because what we're doing is President Trump is one person, he cannot do it alone. And so I think holding Holding Cabinet official and administrative officials administration officials accountable is part of the job. And we're talking about the SAFE Act.

uh recently and it's passed the House and and it's up to you and others to call and demand more from our senators. That's part of the process. And so I think it's important that we do voice our opinion on social media. X is a powerful tool. I think it's important for Americans to call the senators and say, we support the States Act.

We want voter ID. We want secure elections, and you must vote for it. That's part of the process. And I will tell you, when the switchboards light up, I'm Capitol Hill over an issue. It can change votes and it does have an impact, and we just have to make our voices heard.

Well, absolutely. And again, it's just we have two messages coming from Republicans today. The White House telling us things are hunky-dory in Minnesota. The U.S. Senate saying things are really, really bad in Minnesota.

So we just need to know which one is it. In the meantime, Luke. Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen, he's the guy, ladies and gentlemen, that ate fried chicken out of a bucket. During a hearing, a congressional hearing several years back.

So, Steve Cohen is now telling the nation who the real bad guys are in America. Let's take a listen to cut number one. We need people working in the front lines of local law enforcement to protect our citizens from the worst of the worst. The worst of the worst are not the immigrants. The worst of the worst records show are native-born Americans, and they are committing crimes that hurt our citizens and our cities.

And you're working against it, and thank you for that. But by trying to get our local law enforcement, where we have an undercount of officers in Memphis, to leave Memphis and go to work for ICE to deport people is a wrong priority.

So, Luke, you just heard it. The worst of the worst are not the illegals, it's the law-abiding American citizens. Look, this is the modern Democrat Party. And Congressman Steve Cohen, who loved to bring his fried chicken down to the floor of the Capitol and just make some of the most offensive, outrageous comments, Yeah. The modern Democrat Party, and he's in a tough primary battle against somebody who's running to the left of him.

So the Democrat Party is not getting better on these issues. They are doubling down and getting even worse. And Steve Cohen himself, no matter how radical and ridiculous. He is. His primary opponent is even more so, and likely is going to beat him.

That's where we are in this country. And the Democrat Party hates, honestly, there's no other conclusion to draw other than they must hate law and order. They must like the chaos because they think it benefits. Them. They like mass migration.

They like mass illegal immigration with the anchor babies that are going to vote for them in 10 or 18 or 20 years. They know that their issues are so unpopular with normal, everyday Americans that they just need to import new voters. And that's why it's so important. I mean, I've been calling for an immigration moratorium for a while now to let's get these people out of the country that need to be gotten out. Let's assimilate the ones.

That are here that are allowed to stay. And let's reunify the country. But the Democrats love chaos, and Steve Cohen has been a radical activist for years with his ridiculous views. And he's about to get replaced by somebody with even more ridiculous views, unfortunately, for the people of Memphis and the people of the country. And again, I think that's something that people need to understand is that Democrat, if you think the Democrats are radical now, you haven't seen anything yet.

They're going to make people like AOC look like conservatives when you see this next round of radical progressives. that are that are going to be elected to office, Luke. You're exactly right. What we are seeing, the future of the Democrat Party, is Zoron Mandani, AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Justin Pearson, who's running against Steve Cohen, these radical socialist After this. These Marxists.

Who used Race and gender and religion to pit Americans against each other for their own political gain. That is the future. That is the Democrat Party. That is the future of what we are looking at. And that's why it is so important, Republicans, that we do not back down on things like law enforcement in Minnesota, that we do not back down on deportations, that we continue to say no every illegal.

Alien must go, regardless of they committed so-called additional crimes or not. There is a legal process. We follow the law in this country, and we are in for a world of hurt if we continuously back down to the radicals. And uh Yeah. Let me jump in here because we don't have a lot of time, and I do want to get your opinion on this issue involving the mayor of Memphis, who's now going viral on TikTok.

Over an incident that occurred at his state of the city address the other night when a giant person wearing a mu moo. And pretending to be a woman, it was a dude in a dress, was heckling the mayor. And I want you to listen to how all of that went down. When I talk to Parents that have lost it. Be respectful, sir.

Be respectful, sir. Be respectful. We're gonna let him pull himself together back there. Y'all give it up for Brandy Price. Give it up for him.

We want some attention. Yeah, he's about to fall out. Come on, man. Get on out of here, bro. Get on out of here, man.

About the fallout putting her on the show.

Well, I'm gonna go back to where I was, because this is an important point. Hold on, I'm gonna give him a minute. I'm gonna give him a minute. Y'all give it up for him one more time, y'all. I understand protest, y'all.

I understand. Oh, come on, man. Walk. This is ridiculous. All right.

So we were all applauding the mayor for calling this dude out because his name is Brandy Price and he says he's a woman. But Luke, it turns out that the mayor has officially apologized for misgendering the man and said it was not intentional, and he respects. His gender identity. Your reaction to that. Oh, it is just completely ridiculous.

You're exactly right. About the most sane thing in the state of the city speech was the fact that he used the correct pronouns for the radical activist whose b honestly, this is a large biological male whose biceps are the size of my waist. He is a big, big man who is wearing a dress. And he is not a woman, and how offensive to women. And for the mayor to issue the statement after the very loud but few radical activists demand that he use preferred pronouns is yet another example of catering to a leftist mob, catering to these radical progressives who are out of their minds, and it never bodes well for the future.

And those radical activists just get louder and more powerful when you listen to them. You must ignore them and call them out. And unfortunately, the mayor of Memphis, while he was correct in calling that activist a man, catered to the mob. And I think it will not bode well for his future.

Well, we call that man dressed in the size 80 Moo Moo. We call him a G-O-G as well. He is a guy of girth, Brandy Price. There you go. What was it?

The mayor's motto was swagger and soul, but I think they're going to change it to swagger and sachet. Ha ha ha ha.

Of course, Valentine's Day is upon us, everybody. And we've been talking about all the horrible things that you can send your ex-Valentine lover from naming a bug at the zoo or a rodent at the zoo after your ex.

Or what is it? We were talking about this on Newsmax the night before last, where there's apparently a zoo where you can name like animal dung after your ex. And I mean, but again, that's all for the people you love to hate. What about the people you just love to love? And Dylan, I know that you've got, I hope, have you already gotten things taken care of for Valentine's Day?

Things are taken care of for the missiles. You don't want to be that guy that shows up at the Wawa, you know, and gets. And hey, have I been that guy before? Potentially. Yeah, I would not own up to that if I were you.

It's in the past. No one, I'm not giving a date. I'm not giving a time. I don't think there's a statute of limitations on stuff like that. I don't know.

All I'm saying is, I'm good this year.

Then we immerse it into a sugar fondant, and that's going to give it that sweetness. Then we dip it and robe it completely in rich milk chocolate. And then what happens is the fondant will begin to become juice.

And that creates the sweetness inside. And they we tease and say you should sit in the bathtub to eat them because once you bite into that strawberry, it's going to be all over you. But it's so much fun. And nobody dips them like denstils. This is true.

Mayor Mandani, at least 18 to 24 New Yorkers died during the recent severe weather storm, including unsheltered individuals exposed to freezing temperatures. Yes or no? 18 New Yorkers lost their lives outside during the Code Blue period. That's a period that began from January 19th.

Yes or no, Mr. Mayor. I'm sorry, I have to give you the full extent of the answer. January 19th. I'll take that as a yes.

Thank you, Mr. Mayor. Your administration allowed these people to remain in homeless encampments during forecasted freezing conditions? Yes or no? No, these deaths had nothing to do with homeless encampments.

These were 18 New Yorkers who died. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. I'll take that as a yes. I appreciate it.

After the storm, I open. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. Okay. After the storm, eight-foot-high piles of rat-infested garbage, including mountains of ice, choking the city streets, creating a dangerous public health situation, not seen in this scale.

I can't even remember. Are you aware these conditions still exist? Yes or no, Mr. Mayor? Can you restate the beginning of it?

Yeah, the mountains of rat-infested garbage and mountains of ice, do they still exist in New York City? Yes or no? We continue to have snow in our city, and a large part of that is because after receiving the state of the world. Garbage picked up, yes, yet, Mr. Mayor?

Yes or no? Garbage is being picked up on the street. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. Thank you, Mr.

Mayor. NYP data shows anti-Semitic hate crime surge 182 percent. This is your statistics from your NYPD during your first month in office. Yes or no? There were 31 incidents of anti-Semitic.

On your first day in notice, excuse me, Mr. President. On your first day in office. Don't. Don't what?

Don't go on. This is a budget hearing. I have respect for our mayor. The local government is asking about budgetary items. Please limit your questions to budgetary items.

Absolutely. On your first day in office, you revoke. There you go. Chaos ensuing.

So, the reality here, folks, is that Zora Mamdami is proving within the first several months of his administration. That he is completely incompetent for the job. Unbelievable. I gotta take a break here, folks. This is the Ton Stern Show.

So, this bit of testimony just Landed up on Capitol Hill, the director of ICE testifying: there are right now, at this very moment, 1.6 million illegal immigrants in the country with existing deportation orders. Those are the ones we know about.

So these people should have already been given the heave-ho out of the country. They've already had their day in court. They were ordered to leave, and they simply never did. 1.6 million. Absolutely.

Insanity. Ladies and gentlemen, just... Absolute i insanity. By the way, there's a movie called The Promised Land that's coming out, and the director is catching some you-know-what. About the lack of diversity in his all-Nordic caste.

And they were demanding to know basically if the director of the promised land. was in fact a racist. And the guy said, no, not at all. He said, first of all, the film takes place in Denmark in the 1750s. Everybody was lily white.

Come on. Come on, man Unbelievable.

Well, some exciting news for people in Tennessee, specifically in the Memphis area. And honestly, we are seeing Memphis leading the nation when it comes to working with federal agents and getting rid of the illegals and cracking down on crime. And if it can happen in Memphis, it can happen anywhere.

Now, the city is on the verge of electing a Republican, yes, a Republican county mayor, a guy whose family has been very involved in the civil rights movement and a man who was literally kicked out of the Democrat Party for being pro-life. I want you to listen to my conversation with John D. Berry.

Well, let's go right away to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line and say hello to the man that most of the city of Memphis is talking about today. And that would be our good friend John DeBerry, now running to be the mayor of Shelby County, Tennessee. John, I don't know if I should wish you congratulations or condolences or why in the world do you want to hop into politics again?

Well, you know, I I feel the same way. And when I was talking to the uh the party leaders and the and the um stakeholders who were talking to me about running. I kind of felt the same way. And looking at the looking at Shelby County, looking at Memphis and some of the challenges that we have, I feel as though it's the right time. to run again when I consider the opportunities I've had with working with Governor Lee and working on the inner workings of the executive branch in the twenty six years in the legislature.

I think at this particular time uniquely prepares me for this. And it's my home. Shelby County is my home. Memphis is my home. And um I You know we always have a A nostalgic feeling for our home, and I want to see Memphis and Shelby County become better.

You know, I think for our national audience, they're familiar with your name because you made national news several years back when you were actually kicked out of the Democrat Party. I mean, you served in the Democrat Party your entire life, a lifelong Democrat. You served in the State House, and they kicked you out. And I think, honestly, that's a badge of honor. But I want you to take us back to that moment, and why did they kick you out of the party?

Well, they're a partio group of elitist folks, many of whom probably never have been in Memphis. call themselves the Democratic Executive Committee at that particular time. They decided that my district, who had elected me thirteen times, I think folks failed someone made a report that I lost my election. I think they failed to realize that I never lost an election as a Democrat. The same folks who voted for me thirteen times knew in nineteen ninety five where I stood on life.

where I stood on the family and God's design for the family. where I stood on education and parental choice and parental responsibility, on government responsibility, on the government serving the people and not the people serving the government.

So everybody understood that. and they elected me thirteen times. I served for twenty six years And when the as the Democratic Party had evolved or devolved, whichever one you want to say, at some point in time, they realized that my values, my conservative values, those things that I believed in did not match what the Democratic Party had become. I was warned by this tribunal of people that if I voted for the heartbeat bill, if I had the audacity to believe that if something has a heartbeat, it must be alive. That I would suffer the consequences, and those were the consequences.

They decertified me as a Democrat. They basically put me out of the party. They did it in such a strategic way that I could not run as a Republican, and nobody wins as an Independent in the state of Tennessee. And so they knew exactly what they were doing. This was very strategic And um God has been good.

Governor Lee picked me up immediately, and I got a chance to serve within the executive branch. What would you say is the biggest problem facing Memphis and Shelby County?

Well, you've heard Ill was saying perception is reality, and I'm sure you as a journalist have probably used it many times. The reality the perception in Memphis and Shelby County is that we Are not managed well, that we have social issues. We have division, chaos. We have crime that is out of control. Our education system is par.

All of these issues. Send a perception that Memphis and Shelby County needs a different direction in its leadership.

So I feel as though what folks want are those kitchen table issues. They want to be able to send their kids to school and know they're going to be educated. They want to be able to drive the streets, live in their homes, go to the mailbox. and not feel as though they're going to be threatened. And want to be able to worship in their houses of worship and not believe someone's going to break in.

For a mass shooting. Basically, it's the same kitchen table issues. In Memphis and Shelby County, that are happening around the country, many of them in those places where liberals have. have taken responsibility in some of these issues. And I want to bring those conservative values back to Shelby County.

Well, clearly, Memphis is the largest majority, minority city in the country, and that is going to be a big part of all of this. You know, how do you reach out to members of the black community? Certainly, something is happening. I mean, the White Haven Republican Club started, what, a couple of years ago, and they're attracted to the message.

So how do you get that message to a demographic that's been voting overwhelmingly for the Democrats?

Well, I think that's one of the things that is Um not necessarily taking into consideration about the demographics here in Memphis. Is that the majority? I would like to believe that the majority of African Americans. Hispanic Americans. And even many of the white individuals who have come up from Mississippi and Arkansas and Kentucky, Memphis is one of those places where.

the demographics are very diverse. That the majority of these people are conservative in their values. They believe in God. They believe in the inspired word of God. They believe in the family as God designed it.

They believe that that child under his or her mother's heart is a human being and should be protected by the Constitution of the United States of America. They believe in safe streets and. and good education for their children.

So I don't have to craft a different message. Forward. African Americans. I just have to make sure that those promises that I make, that I keep those promises. That's what's bothering people right now.

That they elect folks. Over and over and over. To make all of these promises, give all of these shiny speeches. And then once they're in office, it's as though the people don't matter. And one of the things that everybody knows about me over the last thirty-two years of public service.

Is that I believe that if you're going to have good public policy, you must have public input.

So you've got to listen to the people, you've got to let them talk, and you've got to address their needs. When you look at the schools and the schools in Memphis, Shelby County, no different than many other schools around the nation. Over 70% of the kids cannot read at grade level. At least the taxpayers here in Tennessee, for example, are paying lots of money into that school system, and they're not getting their money's worth. There's no value there.

How important is it to fix the schools, and what's your plan to do that? Also, Mr. Shelby County to perform up to par and its potential. You've got to present. a skilled and educated workforce.

There's no way in the world we can continue to have the perception that we graduate children who read on the third grade level and at the same time attract billions of dollars In investment into our area.

So, you know, this is fundamental. And not only is it fundamental, this is a matter of national defense. Our enemies all around the world. Are raising children who are not just. Competent in academics.

They believe in their country and their flag, in their religion, in the culture of their country. And we're raising children who hate our country, hate our flag, hate the Constitution, hate our institutions. And we've got to turn that around. And the only way to turn that around is by proper. Education.

Rather than Simply indoctrinating our kids in various moral and social. Propaganda. Let's teach them reading, writing, and arithmetic and patriotism again that is based. On the provisions of the Constitution, everybody being treated fair and just. Every child having an opportunity to success.

And if we can do this, if we can do this, we can not only turn around Shelby County. We can turn around the whole country. And again, I think that's the exciting thing about this. You can take a city that was, I mean, we've been sucker punched. We were down for the count.

President Trump comes in and sends in the National Guard. We've got the federal agents here. Crime has been, by some estimations, down 70% in some categories. And the people are just breathing a sigh of relief. All right, welcome back.

Good to have you with us. And by the way, if you want to hear the full interview with John D. Berry, What a great guy. Family, very involved in the civil rights movement, lifelong Democrat, very conservative on culture issues. And he makes an interesting point about the black community, not just in Memphis, but I suspect in many other cities around the country as well.

That by and large, the black community is conservative when it comes to. the big culture war issues of of the day.

So the Senate Big problems in the Senate. Lawmakers now heading for the exits after this failed Senate vote today that pretty much guarantees Homeland Security is going to shut down early Saturday morning. There is no funding. The funding is going to hit parts of the Department of Homeland Security harder than others, Coast Guard and TSA. among those areas that will not be Funded.

So there you go. It's we told you that was going to happen, but anyway, Republicans are expected to try and pass at least one stopgap. But every Senator would need to agree for quick passage, and it is expected to be blocked on the Senate floor. This, according to Politico, among the agencies that are going to be impacted, T SA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. There you have it.

By the way, Thun is the majority leader. Thun is standing firm. On his decision not to nuke the filibuster.

So it also looks like the Save Act will go down in defeat as well. May not even be called up for a vote.

Some Republican senators are pushing to stay in session in the event of a DHS shutdown. Many others are pleading with their colleagues during a closed-door lunch. To let them go back home and campaign. Of course. Of course, they're going to do that behind closed doors.

Others are scheduled to leave Thursday to go on international trips, including a bipartisan group heading to the Munich Security Conference. House Speaker Mike Johnson has barred members from traveling to Munich or going on other government. funded trips over the break.

So there you go. We'll see how all of this plays out, but it is not looking, it's not looking good. Not looking good. According to The Hill, the Senate Democrats, and I'll get the numbers in just a moment, but John Fetterman seems to be the sanest mind among all the Democrats. Whoever thought that would have been the case, right?

He was the only Democrat to vote to advance the measure.

For all of you folks who are driving, you know, I've got that crazy mechanism done on the car where I come to a stop. you know, at the like the traffic light or whatever, and the car cuts off. See, I never really understood that, but I'm not a car expert either.

So now, the Trump administration finally doing away with that rule. And that which is great news for anybody who has a brand new car. Because whenever you pull up to a stoplight or something and you just tap the brake, all of a sudden your car shuts off.

Well, the Trump administration. announcing just moments ago They're going to eliminate the stupid car start-stop feature. Why was that a thing in the first place?

Well, they think it saves the environment. Oh. You're not blowing a hole in the ozone.

By the way, they still haven't found they still haven't found. Mrs. Guthrie or the guy who m or guys or gals or whoever may have kidnapped the poor lady, if in fact she was kidnapped. Nobody knows anything of it. What a crazy, weird story.
