It's really tough Rich because you don't want to bounce around the league. Today's gasps, NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah, Prime Video TNF analyst, Andrew Whitworth, NFL PA Chief Strategy Officer, Jacey Tretter. And now it's Rich Eisen. Hey everybody, welcome to this edition of the Rich Eisen Show live in Los Angeles, California. We are live on the Roku Sports Channel, 12 to 3 Eastern, every single day. Same with the Infinity Sports Network. We say hello to Sirius XM listeners, Odyssey streamers, podcasters, who are podcast listeners who are listening to us. Oh, and podcasters too. We respect you.

844-204-rich number to dial. Lots to talk about here on this day. I know our show open just included Daniel Jeremiah, but DJ had to move to tomorrow. So we will get his thoughts on the combine and we'll have the full list of who gets franchise tagged and who doesn't because that's the first piece of building a roster for the next season. And to use a phrase, you know, from the great film involving Dr. Richard Kimball, that's a pretty big piece about whether somebody's franchise tagged or not.

And that window closes in about four hours from the sound of our voices. Good to see you over the Chris Brockman. How are you? Hey Rich, what's up man? I am well. Good to see you, Jay Felley. How are you? Hey, what's up Rich?

T.J. Jefferson. The candle appears to be lit over there. Good to see you, sir.

What's up, fellas? Well, and as I mentioned moments ago, off at the top, franchise tagged players and the franchise tag window closes at 4 Eastern time. This is the first big piece as to how you're building a roster coming for the next season. T. Higgins already, we found out, going to be franchise tagged. Where did Odigozua get the franchise tag from the Dallas Cowboys in the last few minutes? He's expected to be tagged. Trey Smith, we're expected to see him being tagged by the Kansas City Chiefs. The last thing they're going to do is let a member of their offensive line, who's a pro bowler, walk after what we just saw in the Super Bowl. Actually, breaking news on the Cowboys, Rich. I don't know how to say his name.

You just said it. He is agreed on a four-year, $80 million deal. Oh, so he was not franchise tagged. The Dallas Cowboys took care of him. They had planned to do it, but they now have extended him. $58 million guaranteed.

Odigozua, easy for me to say. Bless you. Congratulations, T.J. Jefferson. That is exactly what you need to see from the Dallas Cowboys. The exact opposite of what happened this last offseason. Again, I know we make fun of the all-in and all that sort of business from last year. I know one of the hot rumors that I heard at the compound is that they're all out on many of their free agents.

This individual is definitely not one of them. That's a nice piece for the Dallas Cowboys to keep. Well done to the Jones family in that front office doing that.

You need that kid. Happy and productive and kudos to them turning a third round draft choice from 2021 into gold. Rich, I like to think that they knew about the existence of that paper that you've been holding on and loading over me and they don't want me to sign it. So I feel like this is helping move the situation along. Yeah, now I'm taking the information out of the trash. Oh, I thought you crumbled up the certificate. No, I didn't do that. No, it was my top five rumors.

I took it off the table and I don't know as I'm clearing stuff off to make things look presentable because I had his stats. Four and a half sacks, 54 pressures, second to Micah Parsons last year, third round 2021, Osa Odigizuwa will not be franchise tagged. Now, word is that Sam Darnold's not getting franchise tagged from the Minnesota Vikings.

And lots of ways to read this, lots of ways to read this. What this means is, yes, the Vikings are possibly going to lose this kid because they have no way to guarantee keeping him without giving him the franchise tag, which would have been a $40 million one-year contract. And when you're franchise tagged, you can't even mess with the cap. It is what it is. That's what it is. And that's why a lot of teams don't really like franchise tagging people.

And you can remove the tag once it's placed. But bottom line, the idea of, hey, Sam, we're going to franchise tag you and then maybe trade you, which is a rumor I heard at the combine as an option for the Vikings. That one would be particularly, I would think, bothersome for Sam. It's just like, if you're going to keep me and not really intend to keep me, and you're going to keep me just so you could keep me from the free agent market, sort of after the head coach said, you know, when he was going around radio row at the Super Bowl, that they're willing, that Sam had earned the right to hit free agency, which a lot of people took to believe that the Vikings weren't interested in keeping him. It's just different ways to tell a player something to their face and back it up with actual action that remarkably in our world actually works with people. Even if it's information they don't want to hear, people take that as a sign of respect. At least I do. You want the truth.

Correct. And also you want to have your ability to find another job if the one that you currently have with them is not suitable for you or the manner in which they're willing to keep you is not to your liking or you want to see what else is out there. It is a respectful way of saying you go take a look and then we can maybe come to terms. That's how Sam Bradford, just pardon me, that's how Sam Darnold is potentially going into this and that's how Matthew Stafford stayed with the Rams. I mean at one point it seemed to be dicey that Darnold, I mean pardon me, that Stafford would leave the Rams and now he's a Ram. So I'm not taking the idea that they're not franchise tagging him as a sign that they don't want him and I'm not just saying that because one of the rumors I heard is that they do want him and they want him for multiple years and as I've mentioned to you if these rumors wind up being wrong I do not care.

I'm just doing that segment once a year of trafficking in that sort of world. Just stuff you heard. Stuff that I heard right and I heard that they want to keep him and for multiple years and one way to do that is say go find it if you want and sure we risk losing you but via condios and if he does go then it's JJ McCarthy time and they will be in the mix of starting from scratch with a guy taking his first professional snap in a game that counts, coming off of a knee injury and I'm sure the Vikings would love to hedge on that. It would make sense if they want to hedge on that. It's not an indication that they don't believe in JJ McCarthy. They just want to hedge on it and the great way to hedge would be with a guy who just won him 14 games last year.

The problem is that that guy wants more than just being a hedge. I think I'm laying it all out for you to say the one thing that I do take away from not franchise tagging him is that the Vikings would like to pay him on a multiple year contract something less than 40 million a year because once you franchise tag them at 40 million a year and say we want to keep you well then that's the floor isn't it? Yeah you're not going less than that. You know what I mean like you're you're already making your 40 mil you're not going to accept something for less just to get more years and security out of it. No you're that's your floor and I guess the Vikings would like to pay Darnold something less than that and they're rolling the dice that the market will agree. Because who else will give Sam Darnold 40 million a year? The Giants just got rid of a quarterback who wound up being Sam Darnold's third string back up when paying him 40 million dollars a year blew up in their face. Would the Giants do it?

Again. Seems like seems like they're willing to go more than that for Matthew Stafford. Stafford is already some proven commodity who I think they they're more familiar with. True.

A body of work and also somebody who I think might not have an issue with the New York market? That Sam I don't know if Sam wants to run it back same stadium different uniform? I don't know. I wouldn't if I was him. Would the Titans want to do that? Hey Sam you want to come to Tennessee and then the first overall pick becomes a little bit more up for grabs and they they've got Darnold to throw to Ridley and the rest of the Westbrook and Keene right?

Who else? Would the Raiders want to pay Sam Darnold all that money? Would the Steelers want to pay Sam Darnold all that money? Because you take the Jets off the board that's for darn sure. That ain't happening as the Jets D Rogers their entire roster we'll talk about that later on.

Who else? I don't know. Would the Saints want to pay Sam Darnold all that money because they got Derek Carr there still. Would Cleveland want to pay Sam Darnold all that money?

I don't know. So the Vikings are saying maybe not. So let's come to terms on something less than right now.

They now have a good week to figure that out and if not well then hit the market and see what the market bears. So I'm not looking at this saying well he's gone. Certainly because again I heard at the combine the Vikings like him a lot. Why not? What's not to like? Other than the way that the season finished which is not all him and the coach of the year gets more runway to develop JJ McCarthy who as we all know is coming off of a knee injury and is still quite young.

21 years old. You can turn him into the next Jordan Love which as we all know came with some growing pains for the Packers while Rogers finished out his career there and a lot of people were wondering if Brian Gudacunz knew what the hell he was doing including the one who's talking right now and sure enough kind of worked out for that team don't you think? We will see. So I'm the headline only takeaway I'm saying right here is they're not willing to set the floor for a negotiation with Sam Donald at 40 million. They also don't want to restrict his movement after they told him that they wouldn't and there's time before the market will answer. When that window opens up the don't call it tampering, tampering window opens up.

So that's a conversation to be had there. Later on on this program the artist formerly known as the NFLPA president what's what's his uh his working title now? Chief strategy. Chief strategy officer. The CSO of the NFLPA JC Tretter.

A lot of a lot of initials there. He'll be joining us in hour number three as you know they they had this report card that came out rating teams on everything from travel, ownership, coaching, locker room and so that was last week we're having JC. He's going to be coming on to talk about that but I also wish to talk with him about everything else that's on the docket between the league and the players association that's going to be brought to bear and the ownership meeting is later on this month. So that's an hour three.

Andrew Whitworth a BFF of the aforementioned Matthew Stafford, Amazon Prime's Andrew Whitworth will join us hour number two. It's an overreaction Monday on a Tuesday and Kyrie Irving is out for the year. We'll talk about that and the ripple effect there and if it's post-combine time it's time for unnamed evaluators to trash some of the prospects and if the guy's last name is Sanders well he's got a big neon flashing light above him basically saying trash me please. I'm sure that no shortage of people who want to. I have got some thoughts on this subject matter as you might imagine. As you might imagine and I'm going to do that next. 844-204-rich number to dial lots to talk about on this program on a busy first Tuesday of March.

Back here on the show so I'm looking up and I'm seeing on some of our colleagues that is Kyrie not out for the year they're calling it a sprain and he's going to be evaluated again or or something's happened since I thought I saw Sham say he's done for the year. That's what I thought an hour an hour ago Sham said season ending it torn ACL. Yeah talk about that he's done. When is Embiid going to tap out for the year?

He already did right? He did yeah he did while you were in Indy. Yeah I was a little bit in the yep you know the the NBA bubble got pierced um because I a couple times of the or the combine bubble got pierced by NBA stuff a couple times and I saw Tyrese Halliburton um coming off of McAfee set before I took his chair and his headset uh when I appeared on McAfee's show. Oh hey you know you were on this show. I was.

Yeah I was actually while you were on the air here. Wow. What's wrong with that?

Not cheating on you. Whoa wait a minute. It's called promotion for the program. Wait a minute so you went on a show that's on the same time as your show? Correct.

And probably maybe stole some of our viewers to go watch that show? I don't think so. Oh wow man. I've done that before. Palooza. Yeah thank you.

Ice and Palooza. That's a little strange. We've been on McAfee's show together you know that's happened.

I'm just trying to start something. But you were here when that happened. I understand. At any rate so I saw Halliburton and I told him that Cooper's uh fantasy name I showed him with Tyrese Puffs. Tyrese's Puffs.

He was very nice he sent uh he made a video to add cool points um and uh and then the other the other time is when uh Steph scored 56. I mean my goodness. Unbelievable. Hey man here come the Warriors. Here come the Warriors.

Warriors and Lakers for the Western Conference Finals. Your thoughts? Uh it's it's it's happening. You think so? Yeah.

I can't count. Brace yourself. Choke her out. You know who's hoping for that? The formerly known world wide leader in sports. Yeah whatever that is. Yeah whoever. Who does have the Western Conferences here?

You want to lift that one up for me? No actually. Oh boy.

That would be pretty cool for them. Back on the Rich Eisen Show radio network. I'm sitting at the Rich Eisen Show desk furnished by Grainger with supplies and solutions for every industry. Grainger has the right product for you.

Call clickrainger.com or just stop by. Man you know the dreaded unnamed talent evaluator in the National Football League. That guy.

Whoever that guy is. They're they got a lot to say every year. Lots to say every year.

Year in year out. It's that time of year now and you got to figure out is this unnamed individual trying to do what? Get others to maybe agree with this assessment? So the player that you're publicly or publicly trashing without putting your name on it is drops? That that sort of gamesmanship that maybe you create some form of a narrative and the player drops. I don't buy that.

I know that you see a gamesmanship but it's just like well wait a minute. Maybe all of our valuation of Shidoor Sanders is way off because somebody thinks he's brash and arrogant. We can't draft him.

No. Somebody's grinding an axe about what I think is the 21st century college athlete coming into the league and everybody who might feel this way in the NFL best get used to it. Because players who come into the NFL now have been paid and very well and handsomely for their craft. And so I understand that you make see a red flag when you see a backwards hat or you might see six figures of bling while the player doesn't work out at the combine. Because you might think that that individual feels they've already made it and they don't treat made it and they don't treat what's in front of them as an opportunity and certainly when you draft them will not realize it's an opportunity then and won't take it seriously. Because they feel they've already made it because it's about showing your success with something that is material as opposed to something that is intangible. Which is hard work and dedication and that it becomes immaterial about winning and losing and being a leader of men because it's all about the bling and the flash and being talked about.

And being talked about. But players who come in now come in as professionals in terms of being paid get used to it. Get used to it and that might lead also to players not working out at the combine which as we discussed yesterday is a big problem for me certainly as somebody who just spent 21 live hours over four days talking in hushed tones about three cone drills.

Yeah I want to see the stars work out and just wait. We're going to see somebody come to the combine and say well why aren't you working out? Well I'm not getting paid for it. Well if you work out you might get paid more by the time you're drafted.

It doesn't matter I need to check now. I'm kind of shocked that hasn't happened. I'm not wearing that new era stuff.

I'm an Adidas guy. It's going to happen. It's going to happen and it just comes down to the evaluation of who the kid is and what you see on tape and it's just a story. It's not as old as time. It's as old as since the late 80s of a guy named Sanders being totally misread. Totally misread.

It's amazing to me. Now I know he's not Dion. I get it. But he is the son of Dion and if you think that the son of Dion is going to not take this as a serious opportunity. If you think the son of Dion is not going to show up and be a complete pro. First in, last out and knows that the neck up stuff is a differentiator. Not just their abilities and ability to throw. Their abilities to be prepared and sneak up on you about being prepared and professional while you're talking about the Flash.

Then you're out of your mind. And again, I'm still, you know, I haven't had a sit-down conversation with Shadore. I did see him at the combine a couple of times. And if you saw his press conference, he is personable. He is a guy who has humility.

He is somebody who does treat his role seriously. And you know, he will come into this league fully prepared and prepped for it. And also on top of it, I mean, he's not going to shy away from the spotlight. Don't you want that from your quarterback?

Wouldn't that be a metric you want in your quarterback? That he's lived in the spotlight. He's not concerned about the spotlight. Now listen, if you think Cam Williams is going to listen, if you think Cam Ward is better or Jackson Dart is better or Chuck is better or just keep naming it, then that's fine.

That's fine. If you're looking at his tape and thinking that he doesn't have this ability or that ability, because now you're hearing some people saying that there's not even a first round grade on him, then fine. Then pass on him at your peril. But if you think that he's not somebody who takes this entirely, this entire thing seriously, just remember who is prepping him for this next level. And in terms of just, you know, the crazy thing about Deion is even though do people think that he's more about the Flash, right? He's more about, hey, watch me on my Tubi show, watch me on my documentary, watch me here, watch me there, while he builds a staff and gets better every year. And, and I mean, dude, he took Travis Hunter from Florida State and told him come to Jackson State. And then he brought him from Jackson State to Colorado.

And what, okay, now a lot of people were thinking when Travis Hunter did that, they're like, what's he doing? He's going to turn down Florida State to go to Jackson State just to go with Deion? What's Deion done? What's he proven? What's he ever proved? Right?

Oh gosh. And so then when Deion goes to Colorado, he's going to go to a one win program with a guy who's never coached at this level before? What's he doing? What's he thinking? And all Deion's done is turned out a frigging unicorn who won the Heisman Trophy and is the best corner and wide receiver in this year's draft.

And it's up to you to decide, how are you going to split the reps? He actually took the, you can't even call what he had straw. And you can't even call what he is now gold. But no, no, no, no, no. Deion's not serious.

Okay. Now, throughout my conversation here about, well, J'adore's brash and arrogant and, and, and you heard this from a quarterback's coach who's unnamed. And so apparently he's been in some meetings at the combine, not engaged fully. He's in these meetings and he's not interviewing off the charts with everybody.

And in terms of that, let's remember who is coaching him up on this. When we were at the Super Bowl in Atlanta, I forget what year it was. What year was the Super Bowl in Atlanta? 2019.

January, 2019. Very good. And we were in this, we were in Atlanta. Deion came on our show at the Super Bowl. And the first thing we talked about was Atlanta and how, when he was going through the draft process, he fell in love with Atlanta. He's in a draft class, by the way, with, look it up, if I'm not mistaken, it was Barry Sanders was in that draft class.

It's absolutely loaded. Correct? Tony Mandarich. Well, Mandarich was taken second overall, I believe.

Yeah. Was Aikman first, right? Troy was first. Barry? Deion.

All right. So there was some serious talent in this draft, to say the least. Four of the first five picks are Hall of Famers. Who was the fourth one we're not mentioning? Derek Thomas. Derek Thomas, that's right. May he rest in peace. Yeah.

Okay. So Deion knew, you know, there was some competition at the top, but he also knew he wasn't going to last very long. And he said he really wanted to go to Atlanta because when he went there, as a kid from Fort Myers, Florida, and he went to Atlanta and he saw a city where there were people of color in positions of power in a way that he'd never seen before.

And that's where we pick up this soundbite that I want to play for you on this day, where his son is accused of not giving it his all in certain interviews at the combine. I had truly never seen African-American people in such roles and positions and titles that I had never seen in my life. And it blew my mind.

You know, city officials, doctors, lawyers, political figures. It blew my mind. So I said, that's where I want to go because I knew the dude I was. I was not apologetic. I was brash. I was going to be me.

And I felt like Atlanta would at least understand me. And I said, I'm not going to you. Don't draft me. I'm going to play baseball. I'm going to play baseball. If you do, I'm not going there.

I'm not going there. And sure enough, Atlanta was the number five pick. I was so happy. I didn't know what to do.

And I also love the story that you've told. And if you wouldn't mind telling the audience here as well, at the combine, when you would be pulled into rooms and you didn't know which room you were being pulled into by which. Back in that day, everybody was reaching for it. Agents was in the hotel. Everybody was everybody. It was scheduled structure. You can't be in a hotel. You can't be on a premises. Then it was everything as well.

So I'm backing away from crowds and people trying to grab me. And I backed into this room and the giants was there and it was the giant's room. And they had people sitting down and taking these tests. What do they call these things? Oh yeah. Like the psychology test, right?

I mean, the thing was that thick, man. And I sat down and they gave me this thing. And what is this? They say, it's this test and you know, we need you to take it. I said, Oh, what picker do you have?

It's like the 10th. I said, I'd be going for it. I'd be going for it. So let me ask you hearing this, if this is the man who is counseling Chidoor, if he's looking at his watch and is not engaged in the, um, the interview process, is it because he's brash and arrogant or he's, uh, he's not taking it seriously or he's giving you an indication where we're not a match in my estimation now, let me give it a little bit of a pushback.

I can do it as well. I know you can, but let me do it. And maybe it dovetails that this is not Dion in terms of talent. This is not Dion in terms of surefire talent.

He may not even be the most talented quarterback in this draft. And that by, um, potentially taking this approach in meetings, if this is in fact the case, he's potentially cutting his nose off despite his face that you never know what could be a match. You never know what could possibly be a good spot. You never know. And what was good for Dion is not great for Chidoor. He also, um, uh, might not have been doing this in these meetings.

Don't know. And it's not the best face to put forward when you can put other faces forward. That's true. I was going to say it's different between a cornerback as Dion was and the quarterback who's supposed to be the leader of the face of the franchise. And when things go bad, they're the first person blamed.

No doubt. But when Dion was drafted by Atlanta, you know, there's a reason why the Georgia dome was called the house that Dion built, you know, and you don't say that about a lot of corners ever. No understood.

But nationally, you know, they're not blaming the defensive back when X, Y, and Z goes wrong. Got it. Got it. I, I understand, but it's just a story.

Listen, if you don't draft Chidoor Sanders because you think his tape is this, that, the other thing, and he's just not that great. And his name is what elevates him. And, um, then that's on you.

That's fine. But if you're going to sit here and think he's, he's not a pro and he doesn't take it seriously. Well, that's, that's a story as old as Dion Sanders first showing up on planet earth. And it's still, he's still right. Am I wrong, TJ, that people don't look at what Travis Hunter looks like? Oh, that's just, he's Dion just rolled the footballs out with him. Yeah. You know what I mean? He had nothing to do with his development. You know, he basically said, don't go to Florida state, come to Jackson state.

I got you. And look at what we've seen. You know how many people would have taken him on? Well, it's Dion. So I'm sure a lot. And my point being to take the number one kid and have him say, turn his back on this somewhat of a powerhouse to come to a small school with you.

Hasn't proven anything. Come on, man. That's some Pied Piper's type stuff right there. And by the way, also rich Dion. Yes. But Chidoor had to play a huge part in getting these guys to come as well. It's not like he wasn't out there.

We're not like they, he wasn't part of the reason some of these guys came. And the fact that he's not saying that, would that be a sign of wait for it? Oh, it starts with an H. Humility? Oh yeah.

Maybe. Well, you know, last week we talked about this and I told Susie, you know, they used to have a reality show, the Sanders. And when you watch, yeah, you watch 12, 13 year old Chidoor with more confidence than a 40 year old grown man. And it's like this kid at 13 had so much confidence in himself. And it's just translating now to a, to a young adult.

And, but by the way, people's confidence, for some reason, offends other people who don't have that same tree, but he's got his cap backwards teaching. Well, you know, I mean, that's a different show, rich. Oh, sorry. Different show takes issue with the hats.

What it's the 20. Yeah. Are you going to be serious about being our sound engineer today?

Or the one day I wear it backwards. And he is the one guy in this room who could afford six figures of ice around. Oh, there's a show out there who's so mad at you right now. Right.

So I'm not aware. What show are we talking about? Stop it. Stop it. Stop it.

Go on a competing show. That's on at the same time as ours. Spell our name right now.

All right. That's what it's called. That's funny. I think I made my point.

Listen, I am biased when it comes to the Sanders family, but I also know, you know, what, what, what, what they tick like when the cameras are not on. And it's that simple. It really is that simple. And, but it is, it creates the heat. They welcome the heat. They welcome the buzz. They welcome all of it. It does help to actually shove it back in people's faces with wins.

And for the first two years of Colorado, it's been a step forward in improvement. And that's why a lot of people root against that's why a lot of people root against, but unnamed person, you know, whatever it just takes one. Right.

That's why I don't believe it's like, Oh, we really like a Chidor. So let's put it out there that you shouldn't take him. And other teams will be like, Oh, okay. Hey, scouting departments, we're pushing back on you. Did you hear what the unnamed quarterback coach of an unnamed team said?

Well, we better go back and do our homework. Like it, I just never believe that sort of stuff. It's just somebody grinding an ax, not liking what 21st century NIL paid players look like. And certainly if they're in a meeting and they know, I don't want to go to your team and they might, he might look at his watch a couple of times that pisses you off. And then you go run off and tell somebody something. But I just wanted to give you my perspective on it.

We do one show Saturday night sells out at Friday, sells out Wednesday at Thursday, doing four shows. That guy's a little treat. Superbowl tickets on me. Good seats.

You need $125,000. Well, you're going for the primo primo. I didn't know. My wife called and she goes, they just took $125,000 out of our account. Is there something going on? Do you need to talk to me about something?

Are you going to South Africa for a month? I was like, no, we're going to the Superbowl. I don't even like either of the teams.

I don't even like either of the teams. Now that this is your rookie experience mistake is you need to check the prices before offering to take people in primo seats. Do you want some?

I went, are you kidding me? One guy's like, well, you got to sit with my parents. I was like, I am getting along great with parents. This is your dad's drink. Cause I flack out in front of your family.

Like I do my family. This is the rub. Oh no. They don't tell you your seats until Friday. You don't know where you're sitting. I don't even know who I gave the money to.

So you think Bitcoin's going to really do well? I hope this money turns out. Matt Damon said, we're cool. Tom Brady's involved. This should be a new win-win. I'm sorry. I'm laughing so hard and crying. I don't even know.

I don't even know when I get my Oh my God. Oh my God. My wife is so angry at me. She thought you were robbed.

I should have helped out so many poor children. We have to know. Oh, I'm sweating and laughing. I'm not the one 150, 125 grand in the hole. Oh my God.

Oh my word. And we were with Bert that night when he actually got where he was sitting. I said, text rich, your seats.

How much time do we have to wait or 30 seconds? And he did. I did his pod. We show where he cooks for you. Yeah. What's burning. You know, it's burning with Bert.

It was me, Adam Ray and Cam Hayward. I did see some clips from that. And what Bert made was so terrible. Inedible. Really? Yes.

I asked for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which he didn't make. Back here on the Rich Eisen Show radio network. Here we are. So good. I'm going to go here with this.

So one of the reasons why I mentioned, Jay, that you could actually be the one in the room to afford this is, you know, all that blink. This is what you do here is a side business, right? Correct. Correct. This is your hobby.

Like this is your Bo Jackson playing football. This is a happy place. It's your happy place. Do you want to mention what you do on the side or you don't really want to do that? My own environmental inspections company. Okay. Very good.

And in order to do that, I had no idea prior to the show. You said you went to what? I mentioned mold school. Mold school. And then the school institute.

These aren't real places. Yeah. Yeah. Asbestos Institute of Arizona. The AIA of Phoenix. Oh, Phoenix.

Okay. Mold school is a rejected Will Ferrell. That's about to say my boy blah. That one didn't get me.

That's my boy blah. Mold school. Yeah. What is, what does one take at mold school? You just got to get certified and learn the different types. Understand that.

But what, what do you mean? There's like a class, it's like a professor of mold who teaches you what mold looks like. Yeah.

They teach you, you know, the right way to take samples and how to analyze it, how to write the reports. Okay. The Asbestos Institute of Arizona.

It has five stars on Google reviews. Okay. I stopped by like six months ago and gave a lecture to one of the classes. Hold on, you what? You were a keynote speaker at mold school? Wait a minute. Yeah. Wait a minute.

He's a, he's a returning distinguished alum coming back to show the future mold. What do we call you? Mold destroyers of mold?

What is it? The future, what do we say? You know? I mean, you, you remediate mold. The future remediates mold from mediators of the world.

What it looks like to be successful. You too can drive a car like I drive. You too can remediate mold. Do I not look like an environmentalist to you?

That's like what my kids do when I'm onto something, they throw back at me like, wait a minute. No, I will say, I don't view you by your cover at all, sir. Big ups to the president of the Asbestos Institute of Arizona. Member of the bald brotherhood. Okay. Yeah. He's a cool guy.

Nice beard too. Jay Cavness. His name is the letter. The letter J. Yeah. Yeah.

All right. I met him in Vegas. Just like my wife. Very good. You thought it was rich when you went back to the Medill school of journalism. You know, that's a party right there.

My guy of Arizona, Arizona. By the way, Susie is delivering the commencement address for her, her high school. Nice for her, for her school. Nice. Yeah. They invited her to come back and speak to the future.

Bright and best and brightest coming from, from, from Windsor. When's she doing that? She in June. Nice. Yeah.

Nice. So you want to give her any tips on what it's like to speak to, to people in that regard? Jay she'll she's coming later to do what the football I'm sure she'll be all ears. You ever heard that? What did you tell the future mold remediators of America?

How long did you talk for? Like picture the audience naked. Oh yeah. Don't do that with environmentalists. Oh goodness. That's his takeaway. That's his takeaway. How long did you speak for? And you want to call me or a mold remediator?

Like 15 minutes. I just want to see now I just want to see a football player as they're doing lineups on Sunday night. Give a Jason Feller tied in Arizona Institute of Phoenix or whatever. It's best this Institute of Arizona. Technology. Jay fell in old school.

I told you old school, man. Jason Feller, remediator. All these special sensitive. Yeah. All these remediators walking around trying to trying to remediate with their hat backwards.

He's really he's he's molding school. This guy. It was the lead school guys. Those are the bullies. They don't have any nostrils anymore, man. Their lungs are shot.

They got nothing. You don't want to mess with them. That sounds like this is worth going down this path today. That's a great hip hop duo name. MC Remediator and DJ Lead Paint. There you go. Coming to a city DJ Lead Paint. By the way, though, that's another one in the in the intro. DJ Lead Paint.

DJ Lead Paint. Well, you know, it's best this Institute of Arizona. I remember how T's high school.

T Sizzle would always say ball so hard university. Yeah. Mold school, university.

Yeah. Mold so dangerous. Mold so hard.

I didn't even plug the company name. What would be the broadcast on which there's this introduction? Mold so hard naysayers will find me. Oh, now let's meet your house. Your house is in danger of not passing inspection. Let's meet the remediators on offense. Say your actual company name.

Give yourself a plug, bro. It's the inspection broadcast. Let's meet the remediators on offense.

DJ Lead Paint. No, you need Collinworth, Collinworth, this guy, Jason Feller over here. I mean, here's the guy. Nobody gets in the attics quite like him. This guy goes under a sink.

Unlike anybody I've ever seen. Look at the way he sprays that down. I mean, nobody gets right out of the basement. I tell you what, man, you need mold at your house, man. That J Felly, man. DJ Lead Paint.

There is a guy coming to a city there. You're playing into a dome in a month. I heard so in all honesty, your actual company name is always first. The environmental always first. Oh, my gosh. I am just dying laughing. Is there anything dumber on television and radio than what we're doing right now? And his hat's backwards.

Why do you want to take it seriously? A.F. on all your stuff. You know what's not always first? Yeah, I mean, look, Del Tuco's got always first pens everywhere. Where's my pen? You know what's not always first? The bill of his cap. This guy.

I have a Roku pen, so. There you go. You're a company man, but not an always first, man. Not an always first.

Well, I'm not getting paid by that. Should we give away a name, image and likeness for always first? Yes, please. If there's a guy out there who's named after a mold.

Is there a mold? Eric Molch. Yeah, there's Eric Molch.

Former bills wide receiver. Spear and Jealous. There's a ton of them. Spear and Jealous? Yeah, but no.

No, defensive tackle is named Mike Spear and Jealous. How do you know? You'd have to ask King and Peele about that. Oh, my gosh.

We should do this the next time King and Michael Key is here. Is this with mold names? Where's a broadcast of your house inspection. And here's the here's the starting lineup on offense to take out your mold. Mold remediation team. Oh, my gosh. Are you here?

You want to be the war blocking? OK, so our two coming up is. My name is Frank Fungi. Is Andrew Funk? No, it's Fungi.

I just thought Fungi. Andrew Whitworth is going to join us. We'll talk Rams. Is it Rams made a trade? The Rams made a trade.

All right, so we'll do that at the top of the next hour. Not a not a sexy one, but, you know, you never know. Never know. Don't forget, Jokic got drafted during a commercial break. Taco Bell. Yeah. Is that what it was?

Yeah, Taco Bell commercial. OK, second round. And and we'll talk about overreaction Monday on a Tuesday. And then your phone calls 844-204-RICH number to dial on this mold school edition. Vladimir East.

Of rich eyes and show activity. Oh, my God. Do you want to go to war, Balaki?

Because we could go to war. That's Emmyworthy right there. OK, what is this? Everything. I don't think so. Not our best foot forward.

Let me tell you, Rich, it sets us apart. Other guys are down there talking. I don't know what they're talking about. You know, ain't nobody else talking about Fungi and mold. No, no, no, no.

Definitely not. Meanwhile, the guy who's got all those pens over there is feeding rodents by out of his hand. Still, it's crazy. What is his malfunction? How much time do we got down there in this segment?

By the way, I meant to tell you guys. One of his scrolls. Did the squirrel give the Heisman pose? Yeah, I watched it. You know why the squirrel? I watched the whole video, too.

I watched that whole reel as well. You know why the squirrel would not eat out of Mike? Because it's a large to any squirrel. We're all large. A large New Jersey man holding out a nut. And even the squirrel is like, what is this guy's malfunction? He wouldn't stop talking.

Just like caveman doing. And yet we all watched it still. Yeah, I watched it twice. So there's that.

I'll be honest with you guys. Mike does have a thing with squirrels because I was cleaning out old videos from my phone. Yeah, I found one from in here after the show from 2019. OK, me, Chris and Mike are sitting here and Mike's telling us a story about and he's screaming the story about he was a kid and there was a squirrel guy and there was like kitchen cabinet and he's yelling for his dad, and I was like, he really does. He's got some. I'm sure he loved watching Bullwinkle as a kid.

Like we could go way back. He's one of the sweetest human beings you will ever meet. But the fact that he's spending any of his spare time trying to hand feed a squirrel in his neighborhood. This picture is so disturbing. I haven't seen that yet. You haven't seen that one yet? I hope to never see it again. Why?

Because he's not wearing a shirt. I mean, I'm pretty traumatized. We told him of the squirrel.

Both. Hey, look at my teeth. I got to be honest, when I'm sitting here getting ready for the show, you have sometimes you guys don't know if I'm paying attention to what you're talking about. I saw you look up and I went, oh, I assume you're not. I heard mold school and I'm like, what the hell is happening over there? And I made a mental note, if there's time, which there was, which there was old school, we're going to have to talk about it. And we did.

And you think it's Emmy worthy? I think it's well, we'll find out in the next 15 seconds if Roku is like looking at us, like we look at Del Tufo hand feeding road. Got mold, man. He wants to get rid of it. OK, wow. It's not like mold. And you know, the call always first.
