Good. Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome on this lovely Wednesday to the No Contest Wrestling Podcast. Today, I am the hero that you love to hate, O'Shea Jackson Jr. Hey, yo, it's me.

It's me. It's that T-W-O-J-I-G-G2. And we are here checking out WWE 2K25. And we also got a show to do, man. We got amazing guests today, y'all.

It's work. We're here for work, baby. A little bit of fun, but we're here for work. But, bro, our work is fun today. No, we're spreading the gospel of the no contest wrestling podcast.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes, Lord.

Well, we got a jam-packed episode. You know, we're showing you guys all type of footage from today, this junket day that we've done. We got plenty of great superstars for you, plenty of great stories, a lot of your favorite questions, and... We get to play video games. How about that?

If 10-year-old Shay found out that the WWE flew him out to play video games, he might explode. In 1998, I watched Tack Saw Jim Duggan win the World Rumble on free TV on the USA Never. To think in 2025 that we're here doing this and about to go to the Rumble, 12-year-old TJ would have been, yeah, I believe it.

So put on your seat belts. Get ready. Here's a compilation of everything that we've been doing today here in Indianapolis at the Royal Rumble and checking out WWE 2K25. It's just two. Swing.

We are here live in Indy. Thankful for the WWE and WWE 2K25, but right now, TJ, we are with the Megastar. Megastar. The Megastar. LA Knights.

What am I doing here? What are we doing right now? It's too early for this.

So thank you guys for having me. This is cool. Thank you for being here. They didn't get your coffee yet or nothing, man. Nah, nah, nah.

You see these eyes? These things are ready to go back to sleep.

Well, I mean, you don't get to be a megastar keeping normal hours LAN. You know what I'm saying? You ain't lying. You only get megastar status when you're out in the alleys late at night, dog. We know how that works.

Well, I ended up down at what, Tin Roof in the wee hours of the evening the other night playing the drums. No way. No, yeah, there was a band up there playing, and what it was me and Priest and a couple other people out there, and a little prelude to our tag match, I think, last night. And, what, at some point he was up there singing, and another point I was up there playing the drums. It was the whole thing, yeah.

Once again, thank you to 2K25. What's it feel like to be in a game, man? And not just be in a game, be a good player in the game. Man, it's crazy because I. A lot of people know this, some people don't.

I used to do the motion capture for these games before I got there. Wow, I heard it.

So, like, from like 2015 to about 2021, like, I was the main guy doing a lot of the entrances, the movements, down to even just little stuff like lay down, stand up, like, all that stuff was me.

So, it's like, it's my. Whose game is it? My game.

So, it's wild to have that and now be in it, and not only be in it, but again, like you said. I do some JBron walking. Exactly. We got some stuff going on here.

So it's pretty cool. That's one of those. When you're doing something like this, that's one of those bucket list type of things where it's like, I want to be in a video game. I want to have an action figure, stuff like that. You've got all that.

Yeah. And most importantly, you've got the crowdfunding.

So, Chase Morning, I can retire. See you, everybody.

Well, bro, I want to, like, first of all, give you props, man, first and foremost. I mean, I know you've had a long career and you've been grinding. But You've come a long way since Max Dupree, bro, and you overcame that. Exactly. How did you, like, what kept you in the game, so to speak, to make sure that you kind of left that behind and elevated to the status that you are now?

Well, see, that's a multifaceted answer. What kept me in the game, you could say money in one way. But also, no, I mean, what kept my head in the game, and that's what we're talking about, it's just, man, there's like. There's a motivation I've always had to not be a background guy, not just be a guy who's like happy to be here, which I need to learn to be more happy to be here, if I'm honest. But at the same time, it's like.

I want to be the guy. And if I ain't gonna be the guy, then I need to be damn close.

So for me, it was just like: all right, this max. BS. Pushing through that, I didn't think there was a chance in hell anybody take me seriously after that, but for whatever reason, whatever I did. After that. Seemed to work.

Seemed to catch on somehow, but I think it worked and it caught on the way it did because it was more of me. Who the hell was Max? I don't know. I don't know how to do that. I don't know how to be that guy.

But the second they were like, hey. We're gonna do this LA night thing, we're gonna bring you back to your deal. I said, Thank God, not too soon either, because it's like.

Now I can be me and do me. I think a lot of times fans also kind of see a performer like yourself who we know has talent, who should be. Yeah. More ahead of the game, I like to go back to that than the R. And we kind of rallied behind you, man.

Like, we knew. That this isn't where you should be, you should be somewhere else. And when you got the chance to become LA Knight, the crowd was behind you, man. Took off. Because they all kind of believed that you deserved it.

Yeah, and it feels weird to say deserve or should be this, should be that, but man, I was bitter and angry for years and years that I hadn't been here so much earlier. But at the same time, now how everything's worked out. It's almost been perfect timing in a strange way. Absolutely into timing. And I gained that.

LA night day because I lived in LA for so long. I lived every part of LA life, like from the bottom to the top. And so those last few years in LA, though, I'm kind of glad I got them because it was one of the first time I actually had money living out there. I was living comfortably, having a good old time out there.

So to get those last few years to do that, then before I come and do that, Wouldn't trade that for anything. And it's funny, I called you Los Angeles Night on a pod deal. I drink. And people were in the comments. I'm like, how'd you not know who that was?

Now, you've had, as somebody who's had success in TNA, with the TNA and WWE deal that's happening, what type of potential do you see that for other superstars? How do you feel about it?

Well I really wanted to say something really off colour and stupid there, but it doesn't matter. No, no, no. No, no, it was just going to be silly throwaway nonsense. But it's a great opportunity. It's a great opportunity for us, a great opportunity for them.

Lots of. New eyes for them, from the people who are watching us to watch them and see, oh, okay, well, now. who from WWE might show up on their events, or who from their events might show up on ours, and then it's. Guys who, guys and girls who might not have ordinarily gotten the opportunity to have These eyes on them, or even have the opportunity to step into a WWE ring or something like that. It's so, it's big now.

Will I ever be going back over there? Because some people asked me that, because I have a history there. I don't know. Look, I've got unfinished business, if you ask me, because I've won three titles there. I could be a Grand Slam champion if I took that X-Division title.

I don't know. But I don't see it in the cards, but you never know. Never seen that.

Well, speaking of TNA, real quick. We ever gonna get the dummy? We ever gonna get dummy back. Maybe someday. I'm not feeling it right now.

Maybe someday. We'll see.

Now, a question that we ask everybody here, you're a guest on NCW. I just want to make sure I get this out of the way because it's our biggest question. We're going to put you in a situation. All right, you're in the bar, there's 50 dudes in the bar that don't want you there.

Okay, that's like when I lived in Ohio or when I lived in Maryland. They don't want you there. I need you to pick and four other superstars to make sure you guys are getting to the car. Oh, to just clear that place out. Or maybe if we have to.

Oh, mm. Ooh, current. Curse me. Oh, all time. All time.

All right, well, I'm... Jeez. Or do you want? Or do you want to current? Current, current, current.

Yeah, I was gonna say, because current, we will do currents if I do. Current. All right, current. If we're going current. I'm gonna go uh I'm going to throw some things out that might not even make sense, but they probably will make sense if you really dig into it.

Man, who? Oh man, I'm trying to really break this down. This is a ridiculous question. Think about this for a second. I feel like.

I'd probably take the uh What is it, American Alpha? No, it's not American Alpha. What are they? They're American May. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

I'll probably take both of them. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Solid. And I'll probably take a Braun Breaker with me. Braun Breaker. All right, I need one more. Oh, we need more.

Okay, yeah, I thought I was the fourth. Oops. Thought I was the cleanup guy here. You're five. Let's see.

Let's brew this brain. I'll tell you what. Give me. Give me Dozer. Give me big.

Yeah. Give me all the shooter boys. I'm ready to rock. That makes sense. That makes sense.

All right, Ellie Knight. Can we get a Super Bowl prediction out of you? Chase Sables is gonna be the Chiefs. It's gonna be, but who didn't you? But you wanted to be the Chiefs?

No, I didn't want it to be. But I don't have a dog in the fight.

So, you have a team? Yeah, the sleeper was the commanders. Because I didn't think they were going to even make it to where they did, but then when they just. Trounce their two. The way they showed out in the wild card game and then in the.

Or was it the conference champions or the division championship? I was like, okay, we got a chance here. And then they showed up and stung up the joint in Philly.

So at this point, I don't have a favorite. I just think it's going to be the Chiefs. Fingers crossed. I think everybody knows. Everybody knows.

Everybody knows. Everybody knows. Elliot, one last thing for you, man. Obviously, you've gotten yeah over so big. What is it about a variation of the word yes that seems to get over?

You think about it. Macho man with the oh, yeah. Yeah. You know, and then we have affirmative word. It's very Daniel Bryan with the yes.

You know. Don't go with hell yet. Hell yeah. You with the yeah. What is it about that word that just gets over with?

Well, people don't like to hear no. That makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know.

And maybe there's something to the intonation a little bit too, where there's a little bit of smart assness in there, a little bit, and a little bit of gruff. I can't speak to it. I don't know. Half the time I'm like, why do these people even like me? I'm not sure.

So you never know. Because I was the asshole. Can I say that? Yeah, you can. But I was the asshole, and I eventually became the asshole that people liked.

Couldn't tell you. Yeah, you gotta come down to NCW, man. We gotta do a full interview. Give you the time that you need. Before you go, one more question.

As a fan, when did wrestling break your heart? Break my heart. Damn. Ooh. What kind of question is this?

Bro, we give juicy ones, man. Whether it was a decision. What kind of question is this? Or a heel turn. When did it break my heart?

Are you saying, as a fan or as a performer? Watching it. Because I could tell you many times as a performer. Oh, no, watching it. You mentioned one of them before.

As a fan. Ooh. Ooh, um well See, I didn't even see it. I was told by my dad. when Hogan lost a warrior.

And I know that's a controversial take these days, but I'm just saying I'm talking as a kid. I was like, yeah, that was big, because I was a huge hawker maniac back then.

So it's like that happens. And Warrior, I'm like, what? That can't be the case. But yeah, so that was heartbreaking to me. LA, thank you, man.

We are here with Miss Grand Slam who we call Mrs. NXT still the queen of the wacky inflatable arm flailing tube man. Oh my god. Haley, welcome to the show. Wow, that was a great introduction.

Thank you. Ding dong hello. By the way, I have that t-shirt. I wear it on a regular basis. Thank you.

Yes, ma'am. Thank you. I need to bring some new one back. Ding dong hello is hello. Bring it back.

So we're here for 2K25. Talk to us a little bit on what it's like to be in the game and not only be in the game, you're pretty good in the game. Am I? Yeah, pretty good. We can't tell you guys overalls, but like pretty good in the game.

Okay, I feel, I remember last Rumble, they had us do the revealing of like your score or whatever. And I had just won the Rumble and then they tell me like, you got an 82 or whatever it was. I was like, what the heck? That's how this works. This year, you know, I got a little up on me.

Yeah, a little boost. Got the gear. I saw some pictures. I saw a little motion cap, so I'm really excited for this. I was trying to think of what number video game this is for me because I definitely don't take it for granted.

I think it's so freaking cool all the time. My nephews, I think that's the only time my nephews think I'm cool when they could see me in the game. Like, they're over me being on TV, and they're just like, yeah, we can play you.

So it's always exciting to see it, to be here, to see everyone involved. Nice. That's what's up.

Well, as I said, we call you Mrs. NXT. She's not married, though. You know what I mean? She's not married to NXT.

You're married to the game. You're married to the game. That's true.

So, talk to us a little bit about the moment when Triple H spoke to you, and of course, Sasha Banks, and you guys became the first women to main event a pay-per-view. Oh, man.

Somebody just posted that recently online, so I just watched it probably like two weeks ago. And, like, man. We had no idea what we were there for, for one. We were literally sitting there, and he said he wanted to talk to us, so. She was already up on the road, you know, Raw and SmackDown at that point, so it was just Weird that he wanted her there after, like, we were done.

You know, we did Brooklyn, we were done. And once he told us the news, I mean like I feel like sometimes this gets looked over, but like we were the first women to main event a pay-per-view for WWE ever. Oh, it's been overlooked. You know, any questions? Like, yeah, like, and we've main evented so many times since then, but to be able to be the first and the first women to have an Ironman match.

You know, wrestling her is already a dream. Like, wrestling her is like... I feel like every woman's wrestler's dream, because she's just on a different level, has always been. But to be able to do that with her, make history, and just Hunter making it like. Special, like he made us feel special, you know, putting it on that show, I forget what it, breaking ground, you know, calling us early to get there that day, just making us feel like it was important and making us feel that we deserved it.

That's another thing. I was just talking about the Rumble, like winning the Rumble last year. Nobody could ever take that from me. And like, that's another moment that nobody can take from me. Oh, impossible.

Well, speaking of moments, this isn't the first time you and I met. There was a moment back in 2016. I hope I was nice. I'll set up the scenario. It was Monday Night Raw at the Staples Center.

Ashton Kutcher was a guest host on Monday Night Raw that day.

Now, I met you in the parking lot of the Staples Center. I was talking to Enzo and Mori, and I looked over, and you were standing by yourself. You hadn't debuted yet. And I went over to you. I went over to you and I was like, so how's it feel?

And you were like, what? I was like, to be next. And you went, well, I don't know about that. And I was like, oh, trust me, we know. And we introduced ourselves.

I said, man, you told me your name is Pamela, TJ. I said, cannot wait. And like I said, nothing that you would remember, but I've always remembered that. I vaguely feel like I remember that. Nobody really asked that question, you know, like, how does it feel to be next?

That was me. It's very pretty. And the Staples Center, yes. And now that my prediction has come to fruition after all this time. Oh, my God.

Just looking back at your career from that girl who was standing in the corner by herself because you hadn't been called up yet to now, like, is this mind-blowing to you how far you've come? Yeah, now that would be almost nine years ago. Yeah, it is still pretty crazy. I think about it all the time. I just started my 12th year here.

She had any worry? I'm like, I don't even think. I think I was going to last like 12 days or 12 weeks when I first got signed. Um there is a level of me that I'm always striving to be the best. I want to get to the top.

I want to be on the posters. I want to be on the media. I want to do all this stuff. I want to be the girl, you know? But there's also a big side of me that's like, man, I'm so grateful for how far I've come.

You know, that little girl in 2016 may have never made it if she felt like she wasn't good enough or like didn't listen to people like you and being like, damn, man, maybe I am next. It's getting crazy down here. Yeah, I'd I don't know, I am very grateful for my journey, but I definitely worked for it and definitely had to put up with a lot of crap and definitely had to. I always say I got to look at the bigger picture. You know, it's a freaking roller coaster in this business and in life, you know, so you always got to keep pushing through no matter what's going on.

I wish I taken that day. Because, like I said, the answer is way to go. Yeah, I don't know. Do we really believe that? Yeah, right.

Just broken up stuff for a while.

Now you're just taking credit for my career.

Now be honest with her about my stories and let her know that ain't something I would make up. Yeah, it's not nothing that he would ever make up for. Oh, okay. I definitely believe that. Not really going to try to complain to you.

I told her. Trust.

So, Bailey. That's how we're doing that now. From the speech that my man TJ gave you, that I believe to that first title. The first title Going home as champion of the world, what does that feel like when you lay your head on the pillow? The NXT one?

The NXT one, the SmackDown, also your mania moment, just going home as champion, top of the mountain of whatever brand it is. Hit f Sometimes I'm so numb and so stressed, and so I don't know, and it doesn't hit me till literally later. Or till people, I meet people and they tell me what that moment meant to them. I'm like, oh man, I made an impact there, you know? But one of the moments I do remember was Money in the Bank, when I won Money in the Bank and cashed in in the same night.

Like when I was. told well everything like that I was doing that and I'm like This was crazy, but all right, cool. Like, I can do it. It was one of those things where, like, it's so busy when you get to the back, and then I got to my hotel room and I was just looking at the title, and I was like, Holy shit, like, sorry, holy holy crap, that happened so fast, and I just started bawling. And I was just by myself in my hotel.

That's never happened to me before. I normally ball as soon as I win the title, you know, if you saw Brooklyn. And it just, like, everything came out, and it was just, oh man, this is winning money in the bank is also one thing, like, winning the rumble that not everybody gets to do.

So, having a night like I did that night hit me hard, and I'm sure. The Mania one hasn't really even hit me yet. The Rumble one kind of has, you know, it's just weird because it just moves so fast, life moves so fast. It's hard to look, you know, say. You're winning as much as she wins.

That's very true. Grand Slams, like, what are the. It's like asking what was your favorite breath that you took during it.

Now, a question that we ask everybody on NCW, it's our funnest question. You're in a situation where you're out with the girls, getting mimosas. Hell yeah! Minding your own business. Yeah, there's 50 chicks there that don't want y'all in there.

I need you to pick them. They're hating them. They're hating. They ain't hugging me. I need you to pick a team of you and four other women superstars to make sure you get into the car.

Oh. They're still mad about the inflatable people thing.

Okay. He's definitely murdered though. Yeah, he definitely sliced and diced, you know. First one's going to have to be Naomi, because she's got my back no matter what. Second time, Naomi's going to pull.

Oh, hell yeah. Oh, no. Um Oh, you know what? People will be surprised, but I'm gonna have to go with Naya. And that's not really.

She was our last brush.

Okay, yeah, she didn't throw some blow around. She didn't say me, did she? She loves to scratch. Yeah, she were like her sixth, to be honest. Oh, okay, cool, cool.

Honorary. Um, who's next? Dang, this is a little tough. Yeah. It's always fun to watch Superstars draft.

Yeah, I'll go with Bianca.

Solid. And You, Naomi, Naya, Bianca. One more. thing I feel like I'm taking too long for this. No, this was a good idea.

There's a chick, she's brand new in NXT, or she's on the news show they have and I feel bad that I don't know what it's called right now. I'm so sorry, Mickey James and Undertaker. But her real name is Bailey, Bailey Humphrey. I okay. Dude.

First of all, she's got to change her name. That's the first thing they're doing. Right, we're going to talk about that. Let me tell you something. If you haven't seen Bailey Humphrey, like holy.

Ew. Yeah. Like she's going to KMT. I don't even cause much damage. Honestly, like I can get in there with just Naomi and Bailey Humphrey.

You know, like that's how insane she is. Yeah. Yeah, there we go.

Well, she won't be Bailey for long, but yeah, she'll be on your team. Yeah, she's I'm sorry about that, sister.

Alright, well, as we know, you are a big wrestling fan, great superstar, but I need to know when during your fandom. When was the time that wrestling broke your heart? Ooh, oh, yeah. It's a real life It's like part real life, but they put it on TV so I could talk about it when freaking Lita and Edge kissed. Oh my God.

I was so sad. Like, how can you do that to me, dude? Like, oh man, the Hardys and Lita were my, that's my, that's my thing, you know? That's what made me feel like I could do this. And then she just turned her back on him.

Damn. That's a real life one, and I hope that's okay. Bailey, we're in LA. We'd love to have you in the studio or by Zoom anytime you want to come on. We'd love to get a full episode with you.

I'm down. I got a riddle for you. What do yoga mats, a toothbrush, and a Hyundai have in common? I'll give you a moment. Time's up.

If you guess they're all fun, well-designed, and super useful, you guessed wrong. The answer is you can order all those things on Amazon. That's right. You can now buy a Hyundai on Amazon, the same place where you order yoga mats, a toothbrush, and pretty much everything else. All from the comfort of your home.

And the best part, you won't even have to break down a car-sized Amazon box after because you'll pick up your Hyundai at the dealer. I mean, picture this. You're in your PJs, snugged in on your couch. You pull up Amazon on your phone and start the process right there. Just locate a nearby dealer, pick your color, your options, check the price, and with a few dotting of some I's and crossing of some T's, voila, your Hyundai is ready for pickup.

It's that easy. Just remember to put some real clothes on before you head over, will you? Hyundai, now available on Amazon. Visit hyundaiusa.com or call 562-314-4603 for more details. Limited availability only through participating Hyundai Deal.

Ladies and gentlemen, fans of the NCW podcast, we are here with two goats doing our thing here in Indy. Please welcome the tribal chief, Roman Reigns, and the wise man.

Thank you, thank you. This is surreal right now for me. Yeah, yeah. Guys, right now, we got some Super Bowl talk a little bit. All right, now we know that you are the chief.

We know that you are the wise men of the chief, but who's your pick? You know, you got the Chiefs have been running things for almost four years now, kind of same way as the Reign. I know you got to be tired of it. Please tell me you're tired of it. I'm not watching this here.

Good answer. Niner gang, man. I'm sticking to it.

Next year, we're coming back. Man, I don't know. I'm tired of the Chiefs. I don't like the Eagles either. Football's a work.

Yeah. Yeah. Right? I don't follow football. It's predetermined.

Smart. Hey. But, Paul, you follow storylines. Is there any NFL storyline that intrigues you? Jason Kelsey and what's your name?

It's the Swift. Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift. Travis Kelsey. What's your name? Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift. I don't really talk about my exes, so. Oh, ho, ho! What a bar. She sure does.

Roman, you've come a long way from packing the multi-tool and air mattresses and things like that.

So is there anything that you missed from those days? Or is it just a distant memory now that you're running the island of relevancy? I miss the, like being in the locker room. I miss the camaraderie, that bond with the boys. But I had to grow up.

You know, it was time to pick either be a superstar or be one of the boys, and I picked business. But yeah, I miss being in there, being able to. Guide some of those guys, not just my family, but the whole locker room, and to be one of them leaders. But I'm not mad where I'm at now. I like my system, I like my process, but if I could just be in that locker room a little bit more, I probably would.

We hear about great stables, you know, with your DXs, your horseman. Yeah, yeah, we hear about these amazing stables, the bloodline within itself. But Paul. The Paul Heyman Guy Stable. It has to be one of the greatest.

You can't get any better. What has it been being the GOAT manager? What has it been to touch all these legends on their past? You know, these great wrestlers. I've always despised the term manager because I always felt it was a draconian role within the industry.

I've elevated the art. Of what a manager would do into being a wise man, which is a name that was bestowed upon me with great honor by my tribal chief Roman Reigns. And while you can take the eclectic mix of people who have been Paul Heyman guys in the past, there is only one Paul Heyman tribal chief. Oh, of course. And taking a mix of people of Paul Heyman guys doesn't mean they're always going to mesh well.

The thing with the bloodline is everyone grows, everyone matures, everyone excels, everyone upgrades, everyone enhances, everyone evolves within the bloodline. Um Paul Heyman guys require individual attention. Tribal chief is the rising tide, but all boats go higher and higher and higher.

So if we're comparing stables, the Paul Heyman guy stable, while impressive in just the names that are included, doesn't compare to the bloodline that was put together by the tribal chief Roman Reigns.

Well said. Roman, you know, you spoke about Patrick Mahomes. NFL's in the Mahomes era right now. A lot of people are not getting their chance to shine just because they can't topple that king. Much like WWE's in your era.

This is the Roman Reigns era, and you're sitting on top. What motivates you to keep going after everything that you've accomplished and all that you've made happen? Like, you not only elevated yourself, you've elevated members of the family of the Roman Reigns tree. You've elevated the wise man, and the wise man has elevated others as well. Like, what motivates you to keep going at this point, man?

A sick man. I got that thing. That that That um that drive that I want more. Always want more. Goal posts go back.

Oh, we're in the end zone. Move them back again. Uh Man, we got pretty high. There's another level.

So I just, I'm always trying to get better. And I just believe this is what I'm supposed to do. The wise man picks me up in the morning. How you doing? I woke up.

Everybody else is fucked. Because I woke up. That's how I look at it.

Okay. You all had a chance. until I woke up. It's a day's mine. That's just what it is.

Now a question that we asked No. Bro, stop. What you talking about, man? Stop, bro. What a moment.

A question that and it Just from the way that they've been. Telling us and giving us these gems. I think I know where it's going.

Okay, okay.

So we have a question on NCW that we ask everybody. All the bars. 50 dudes don't want you there. You need to pick a team of you and four others. to make sure you get to the car.

But it wouldn't make it a little bit harder. I want to eliminate the family members. Oh, come on, nah. It's going to be easy. We're talking about people, we've been fighting together for a long time.

So we want to eliminate that. Because I want to say it's easy because nothing's easy. We got like shining. We don't even have to talk. We already know.

Because if you guys are in the bar. What's the going off with Jay? If you're in the bar, 100 cats ain't going to step if they see the bloodline.

So that's why we're asking for four other people to come. And they could be all time. Regarding this planet. I mean, I would go with my dad and my uncle right off the get-go, no doubt. That would make sense to me.

Yeah, that's a different part of the family, a different area of the family. Those are the oldest. You gotta go with Haku. Tonga would rip a throat out real quick. And then what we need one more?

One more. I mean, I don't think you really need one more, but sure. I don't either. Yeah, I think we're there. I don't know, you got anybody.

Well, you're presuming that if there's 50 guys in the bar and they're against us, that number one, I can't manipulate our way out of the bar. Number two, that if I stood behind a tribal chief, Roman Reigns, and he went down into a three-point stance like he used to in football, and my God, what a football career he could have had, but WWE lucked out far more than the NFL. Absolutely. That if he got down to a three-point stance, that he wasn't just going to blow right through all 50 of them. Why do we need more people?

I think the 50 need to bring a few more. You know what? I can't even argue with that. You're a rapper, bro. Roman, you're a proud Georgia Tech yellow jacket.

Who's the WWE equivalent of a Georgia Bulldog to you? Pretty deadly. Really? Yes, boy! I was not expecting that answer.

Them bulldogs. Everybody at NCW, I want to thank the tribal chief for his time. The wise man, thank you guys so much. By the way. Any chance the fans see you get bored and go after that thing one day?

If we're trying to lift the value, you know what waste it's supposed to go on.

So yeah. NCW exclusive, y'all. Y'all heard it, man. Thank you, Robert. But the game real quick.

Oh, all right. We're here for 2K25, man. Probably the first time I've seen an athlete be on two different covers of the game when the game comes out. Talk to us a little bit about what we can expect that you can tell us, and how does it feel to have a game completely about the bloodline this way? Man, it's a great honor.

The game is so much better this year. The storylines that drive the game, I was just watching it earlier, the graphics, the gameplay, it feels and looks smooth. But to be able to have the storyline of the bloodline, the island of relevancy, and to be able to go into that island mode. It's unlike anything.

So you're just going to be able to. Once you get it, you'll just be able to dive into it and just experience more and more and more. And the game is just going to keep giving.

So for us to be able to be immortalized and have our family represented in this way to be plugged in the game. It's a beautiful day, man. Blessed day. Thank you, man. We got to get you on the full show.

Love that both of you. I'd love to have you. And, Paul, like. I don't know if you ever want to get into the podcasting world, but if you ever have some free time and you want to become an advocate for a wrestling podcast, we would always love the guidance because we're trying to navigate these roads ourselves. We're on our way, bro.

I have no free time. And if I did, my time would not be free. I understand. Yeah, Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns. Thank y'all, man.

Ladies and gentlemen, fans of NCW, we are here with the new day. How we do it.

Now, see, there is no world, there is no world where you talk wrestling and video games and not mention the new day. It's impossible. It's impossible. So, as gamers, What's it like being in a game? I mean, it never gets old.

You know what I mean? I think I've been with the company now, what? 28 years. It could be 28 years. It's been a real long time.

A lot of longevity and a lot of gas left in the tank. You know what I'm saying? It's gold in them years, though.

Well, you know how it is, man. It never gets old, though, every single year when the game comes out, especially as gamers who went through the era of the creative character era, right? Where you got to actually put yourself in the game and you spend like what, five, six hours just getting all the details, making the eyes right, and it still didn't look anything like you. But you were proud, but you were proud to play, you know what I'm saying?

So for us, getting scanned and then seeing all the details that we put into our gear, like we really take all those details very seriously.

So you see those put into the game and it's like. They did it. You know what I mean? They did it the right way. It feels good every single time.

Yeah. Now, I. My older brother Daryl introduced me to wrestling through video games. Sega Genesis, WWF Raw, you know, he was showing me Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Doint the Clown, Bam, Bam, Bigelow.

So, like, that's how I got introduced to the WWE is through video games.

So, something like this is a dream come true for me, but something I want to ask. Also, real quick, his brother Daryl, one day when he was 13, sat him down and said, Yo, did you know dad was in the group for Westside Connection? I didn't know NWA. I didn't know NWA till he was 13. He didn't.

He didn't know that it was the time. My mind got blown away when he told me. I just had to do that. That's wonderful, man. But give me, and our fans at NCW, what's five games that people need to play before they move on?

Before they move on? Yeah, before they die. I was like, before they cross the plane. Oh, it means a lot, for real. I'm going to just say my top five.

So Mega Man 5, regular Nintendo. River City Ransom on regular Nintendo. Knights into Dreams on Sega Saturn. Mario Kart. Saturn?

Saturn's the best system. That's my favorite system. Then we got Mario Kart Double Dash on GameCube. And then. I'm gonna go Tekken 7.

Yeah, Tekken 7. Tekken 7. Dang! Wow! Wow.

Tekken 7 is worth it. Tekken 7 is. I thought you were going to start off with Tekken. And that's crazy that you have all these lined up, but you own a gaming game. This is my first time.

This is the first year. I got to think about it. You said top five.

So mine, I got three fighting games off the bat, right?

So if we're just specifying, I guess, Tekken 7 as well, Street Fighter 2. Yeah. Mortal Kombat 2. Mortal Kombat 3. Yeah, 3.

And then... Can I say something real quick about those games? All the games that he just named are games that he gets his ass whipped. Whoa, I mean, come on here. He's going to come on here and lie.

Here we go. Come on here and lie. Don't do black. Here they go. Come on here and lie like that.

That's wild. I thought we were in an honest form. I thought we were going to be in the back. I thought you guys got that down. I thought me getting my ass whipped.

Yeah. And Street Fighter? Yes. Bro, this man, this is crazy. This is crazy.

Street Fighter MK2? Because I'm over here, and you know what I'm saying? I have my guard up here just in case, and you never know what's coming from behind. This is crazy. Hand on the swimming.

Hand on the street. It's crazy. I thought you guys put that behind you, but I guess. But when we're on the sticks, it's different. Yeah, yeah.

The sticks are different. There's no teams on the sticks. Yeah. There's no sticks. I'll put Madden.

How's the cover? Who on the cover? Maybe seven. Maybe seventeen. I don't know who's on the cover.

I'm 17, but I'll remember. I'll go 17.

Well, what's it for you, like O'Shea touched on this, man? You're when you think video games, you're a guy up, up, down, down that comes to mind. And, you know, wrestlers, they used to have this, you know. Persona that they be out partying, drinking, getting wild all night. And then you guys kind of come in and you kind of like, yo, we don't kind of like not taking care of ourselves a little bit more.

We're playing these games. How's it feel for you just an Avid gamer, like kind of like the face of this too? See kind of something that you had a little bit of a, I think you had a little bit of a hand in. I don't know, it feels good because, and Kofi will tell you this, that video games weren't like allowed. In the locker room.

It was shunned. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They could gamble, but we can't play no games.

We weren't supposed to have them. You could read books. Yeah. You could play cards, but you couldn't play video games. That's right.

That kind of makes sense to me. That's really strange. And so when I. Can I say, why do you think that was? Um I think people just had that stigma of this is a worthless thing, that's not giving you anything mentally.

But I mean, playing rummy isn't really doing it. It's just the same thing. It counts a little bit. And so when we started bringing games in the locker room, and then people realized, like, oh, This is kind of fun. This is a good way to pass time, a good way to stay out of trouble.

And then when we made the YouTube channel and Kofi was in those first, like, what, five episodes? He had this idea, brought it to him. He said, yeah, I'd love to help you with this. And we were able to turn it into something that not only was a way to help relieve stress and keep us sane on the road, but also, like you said, keep us out of trouble. And then thirdly, to make us more money.

Up Up Down Down is a brand that has made this company millions of dollars. I hope you're getting your cut. We're getting enough. I'm getting some. Always be a little bit more.

Yeah, enough is crazy. I want all of it. I want all of it. But you know, it's cool to see because it did what it's supposed to do. We wanted to be able to give people a platform to express themselves outside of their wrestling personas.

And that way, if you are into cars or you're into speedboats or you're into animals, like whatever it is, now people that didn't know that wrestling was a viable place for them to come and put their advertisement dollars or whatever, their interests. Know, oh, there's somebody here that loves fishing.

So now I can come and put my advertisement dollars here, and this talent is the reason that I can do that.

So now that talent that might not be getting exposure on the show. Has more value.

So it was all a way to make sure that everybody on the roster had a means to show their value rather than being told what their value was. Right, nice heat break. There you go. This is a question that's going to tie back into video games, but a question that we have to ask everybody who's on the No Contest Wrestling podcast. We're going to change it up for you guys a little bit.

It's usually 50 dudes, we're going to make it 60. You guys are in a bar, there's 60 guys. Who don't want y'all in there? They don't think New Day Ross. 60.

Yeah, 60 dudes. They're not happy with what you turned into right now. You guys need to pick four other superstars to make sure y'all get into the car.

So it's y'all plus four more, 10. Enemies of peace. Arn Anderson, because he got that Glock on him. And then I think I'm done. I think I'm done.

That's all we need. In 17 episodes of doing that, you're the first person that truly went to violence.

Okay. In Force! Be the opponent. Hey, do you do you? You do you.

You in Force. Because he keeps the shot. Spinebuster. He keeps that thing on him. That's what we understand.

Well, yeah, you guys could do all time since I know a lot of people disagree in the back with you right now.

So, y'all are allowed to go all time. Yeah, I wouldn't cook none of those cats now because they ain't showing you love. Yeah. So I might put Haku in there. That was a smart choice.

I heard what he had done in bars, how he literally maimed people in that time. You had the nose, now you don't. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's wild to me. And I meet him, and he's a lot different now than he was then.

So I'm like, did he really do all that stuff? But every now and then, every now and then, you see it come out, and I say, yeah, he did. Barn Haku. Who? You know what?

I'm gonna go Steve Blackman. Steve Blackman, Legal Blackman. Yeah, wow. Yeah. Yes.

Damn, I'm going to take a pool stick. And it's a kendo stick, you know, to the bottom.

So we got Arn, we got Steve Blackman, we got Haku, one more. One more. One more. You know what? I might put Big E in there.

Yeah. Just to see him get beat up. Just to see him get because we got all we need. We got all we need with the other three. Throw Ian first.

We got all we need with the other three. You want to be a strong man?

Well, here's 60 people over here. And let's just see how strong you are. Because I guarantee, after the first three or four, we're going to find out what he really is all about. You know what I'm saying? And let him learn that he should have, you know what I'm saying?

He should have been there for his boys. He should have been there for his boys. And then we got Arnold, we got everybody else. We got Steve Blackman to do the real work, but then we got to make an example.

So we put E out there first. And we let him know what he should have done. One of my favorite answers ever. That's exactly what we would do. Y'all are dastardly.

How was that dastardly? But I mean that in a good way, though. Good. Well, he wouldn't show up though because his neck hurts.

Well, I can take my girl to five-star restaurants on dates, but I can't come hang out with the boys. Got you. Got you. I can take these pictures with these ugly sweaters on with my girl stepping on my neck and putting her whole body weight on my neck, but my neck straight. Oh, but I can't come watch your neck.

No, that's not what we're not talking about. We're not here to talk about it. Anyway, yeah, moving on. We're not talking about that. We're talking about what y'all want to talk about.

You can interview him later. I'm here to talk about what they want to talk about. Yo contest is here for you to get it out. Dude, that was amazing.

So, obviously, we're here for the Royal Rumble. Kofi, you had some amazing avoiding eliminations. Do you have a favorite one? One that we were like, damn, I can't believe we pulled that one off. I mean, I always knew we were going to pull it off.

I always knew we were going to pull it off. Come on, baby. You know what I'm saying? You got to go into those situations with the ultimate confidence. You know what I'm saying?

I don't really have a favorite. I always like. Doing things that are outside the box, you know what I mean? And to be able to create in this industry. Especially with all the history that we've had, to do something that's outside of the box that nobody's ever seen before, whether it's successful or not, to attempt it is what the goal is.

You know what I'm saying? To be able to go out there and challenge yourself. That's really what it's all about. The ultimate prize would be to win. And we haven't been able to do that yet.

But after tonight, it might be a little bit different. We might be up here having a different conversation. I need to talk to you about this because I didn't earlier.

So when I landed, In this town, in this airport, and I saw the Royal Rumble ads, I took a picture of the one and took a full video of all those pictures up there, and I was about to post it on Twitter, and I went and looked, and you had already done it. Of course. The disrespect of us not being in these ads, especially you. That's insane. The greatest Royal Rumbler, I'll say.

Of all time. The most exciting, the one that you want to see the most, and he's not in these ads for some reason.

Okay, I don't hear any lies being disrespect is wild. The disrespect is wild, and to be honest, like uh... You try not to let that stuff bother you, you know what I mean? Like, I came out from the airport from the plane, and I saw it. And I looked up and I saw it.

So, when I actually made those videos, I had gone down and got my bags, and I came all the way back up to take a picture and document it. Because if I would have told somebody, they wouldn't have believed me. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, you go out of your way to make these memories for people anytime Royal Rumble season comes around. Hey, Kofi, what are you gonna do?

What do you, whoa, you're gonna do something cool this year? Oh, man, I never saw it. I remember when you did this, I remember when you walked on your hands, I remember when you were using the chair as a pogo stick, I remember when you made that leap from the barricade all the way. I remember when you were on Big E's shoulders. They remember.

So, when you talk about Royal Rumble, it is synonymous with my name. Kofi Kingston.

So, for me not to be on the ad makes no sense. For us to not be on the ad is disrespectful. What's even crazier that we've talked about occasionally is that whenever people would come, and he's always, he's a kind man. Yeah, this fires me up, makes me want to hit people. When people come up and say, Oh, what's the trick you're gonna do for the Rumble?

It's never gonna win the Rumble. It's how are you gonna entertain people? Like a gimmick hair. Not a gimmick. Ungrateful.

Ungrateful, folks. Ungrateful. I wonder why we are the way we are. I love the way you are. You know, in The Godfather, there's a line.

That never goes against the family, is what Michael tells Fredo. And yet, lately, we've seen that your family members ain't been riding with you.

Okay, so what kind of message do you have for those people who are clearly not taking Michael Corleone's words to heart? They've been going against the family and not supporting you in your decision. This is the thing. Donald Glover. He explained that To be an artist, you have to create.

He can make the same thing over and over again and be rich for the next rest of his life and everybody be happy, but he wouldn't be creating, so he wouldn't be an artist. We are artists and we are creating. Yes, you are. And every time that we create, it seems like people just don't like it for some reason. The first time we created what we had, everyone hated it.

But then you took your medicine and you realized this was the best thing that this company has produced in years. Decades. And now we as artists are creating again, and what happened? They don't like it.

So what has history told us? You are sick. Let us give you your medicine. Let me help you. Trust me.

Help me help you. You don't know what you want, you don't know what you need. The people that are sitting from on high, us. We can give you that. But they don't want to listen.

They don't want to listen. In due time. Hallelujah. They don't want to listen. Well.

Okay, now.

Something I gotta ask because you both have finishers or signature moves, whatever y'all want to call them. That elbow drop. Pretty as hell. Pathetic. That trouble in paradise.

Pretty as hell. I need to know at least one time where you caught somebody like, oh. I think I could answer this much. I think I could answer this question. Would that be a Michael Mazanin?

100%. Hey. Bro, so there's a lot of times where we know But we catch somebody like bad. And I remember like when I did a pass by, I see him, he's hanging on the ropes like this. And I turned around, I'm like, oh, he better be turned around by the time I get back to the ground.

And surely when I get to this side, he's not. My foot is already in the air.

So now I gotta throw it a little bit harder to make sure I connect. If he would have just stayed there, he would have been fine. And he turned around and I hit him so hard and I felt his face just brake on my leg. Wow. So after the, and luckily that was the end of the match, you know, so you know, one, two, three, big win and everything.

And I knew that something was going on.

So of course we get to the back. The trainers are with him. The doctors are with him. They're making sure he's okay. Is he concussed?

Yes. Does he have something broken? Yes. Is his nose messed up? Yes.

But my foot is hurting. You know what I'm saying? What about me? And I couldn't say anything because this man needs to be in the hospital bed. Everyone's tending to him.

So I know I really, really connected because for weeks, the top of my foot, I'm pretty sure it was probably fractured or something. It was bad. It was bad. But you know, it ain't ballet. You know what I'm saying?

It ain't ballet. Yeah, that was probably the. Let me ask you guys one thing. I said, let me ask you one way. We like to put our guests in our Hall of Fame, our No Contest Wrestling Hall of Fame.

I normally have five, but I know we're running out of time, so I'm asking you for three. When we put you in the Hall of Fame next to your bus, First of all, you had to decide if you want to let Ian. That ain't none of them, that's, you two have to decide that. There's going to be a monitor, and it's going to play some New Day highlights. Can you give us three quintessential New Day matches that you want to see played forever and ever to let people know what time it was?

We've had so many great matches. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not even trying to be funny. One day we got to get y'all on a full episode.

So we hardly can. What uh was it, backlash in the American gear? Oh, like an ice cream gear? Was that backlash? I'm really bad with.

I don't remember. Yeah, it was like 4th of July, though.

Something like that, because we had the American. We had the American or you know, patriotic holiday. And for those of you watching, thinking that he's arrogant saying there's so many matches, you. I'm not lying. He has time before New Day.

There's so many matches. Yeah, I think it's Backlash. Backlash for me, Hell in a Cell. Yeah. With them, 'cause I I I'm spoiled because I had the best seat in the house, right up alongside the cage, watching him getting hit with the, you know what I mean, the candlestick over and over when he was handcuffed, hanging from the thing.

Incredible paint, like I couldn't do anything. My brother is getting beaten, and I couldn't do anything. But again, from an emotional standpoint, watching a great match, historical match, tag teams don't usually get to be in Hell NSL. As a matter of fact, was that the first tag team in Hell in a Cell? There was only ones, but it was like two singles guys who were scared to get it.

This is the first real tag team. And I say real tag team because when you're a singles wrestler teaming up with another singles wrestler, you don't have instant chemistry. That's not how this game works.

Sorry. But that one's got to be on replay just from the historical standpoint. And then. He said three? Three.

What's the third? You know what? You know what? I think you win in the title. Oh man.

I think you win in the title. I think I do. I'll never forgive you, Fox. That to me, that to me, you win the title. That is the most important match.

To me of all time. Just because of what it meant, it's so much more than a wrestling match. That meant so much to so many people. But then the fact that. Yeah, it was just a good time.

That's all. I'm definitely not. You know what it was, and every time we get on, we always talk about how much that match meant to so many people, ourselves included. I i i i you know when you're a kid and you're having dreams of being a professional wrestler or whatever it is, you don't Oftentimes, those dreams don't come true. You know, I don't want to say you don't expect it to come true because.

We all did expect it. That's why we're here. We decided to follow that dream. But the literal dream for me was becoming WWE champion. Like, that was what I was picturing when we were having Royal Rumbles in my front yard with all the kids in the neighborhood.

And we were, you know, we used extension cables to make the ropes around some trees and a volleyball court, a volleyball net, you know what I mean? The real bootleg stuff. But in our minds, we were at WrestleMania wrestling for the title. No doubt.

So when you have the cliché term of, like, hey, My dream came true. A lot of people just say that, they don't mean it. This was my actual dream.

So, all the stuff that we went through. You know, as a team to get to that point, all the stuff, all the sacrifices that we made with our families or from our families, having my wife, my kids in the front row, and then having them be in the ring to share the fruit of the labor. You know what I mean? Like all the sacrifices that we, all the birthdays that we made. I'm missing a basketball game today that my son's playing in to be here, you know?

They got to be there for the greatest moment. You know, all the people who never thought they would see an African-born champion. You know what I'm saying? Like, that is on some real stuff. No doubt.

Where it's like. Anything is possible in theory. You can say you could do whatever you want to do, you could be whatever you want to be, but when you see it happening on TV, it becomes an actual reality. It is possible because I saw him do it. It's tangible.

I saw him do it, so I know I can do it. If he can do it, I can do it. This man is, you know. 5'11 and a half. I give myself the hat, I run up to six.

You know what I'm saying? He got real skinny chicken legs. He got a weird-looking chest with a callous bump. He has no interior pecs. Reflexes, it looks really weird.

If I was to shave my head, I'd have a really oddly shaped head. You know what I'm saying? I shouldn't be on TV. I shouldn't be in front of a camera because it should be scary to people to look at. You know what I'm saying?

But yet, and still, despite all of that, I was able to make it here. I had people that had my back to help me get here. And because we all believed in ourselves, this moment happened.

So when people see that and they see the story, they know that you have to, yes, it's going to be hard. Yes, what you want to do is difficult. It might seem impossible, but it's not impossible. It can be done. Because I see it happening, you know?

So. I told you we try not to go into all of it. You know what I'm saying? But at the same time, it's like when we talk about it, it's very, you know, very, very, very passionate and on some real life stuff. Being able to motivate people to go out and do what they want to do and be who they want to be is so important, which is why it's so crazy that people are booing us out of the building now because of what we said.

Right. We didn't say anything that was a lie. We didn't beat E up. Beat him down really easily. Really easily.

His neck hurts so bad that he can't defend himself. But why? Why is everyone so mad at us? What could have happened could have been worse. It could have been a bloodbath out there.

Yes, you know what I'm saying? Just like it always has been throughout the history of wrestling. Yeah, it is. It's always laden with violence. This is the first time that I can remember.

But I'm sure there's a wrestling historian out there that knows all the ins and outs of everything. The fact that we went out.

Well, you know, you be kind to some people to go out there with only microphones in hand, say what we need to say, then the next time you see us, it's pure hatred. That's insane. It was actually a mature conversation, right? Exactly. But that's not what wrestling fans want.

They want to be fed the same garbage over and over. They don't want to think. They don't want to learn anything. They don't want to be done with the show. And then realize they've grown as a person.

They don't want that. They want it to be easy. They want something to disconnect them from what they don't like in their lives. They want that escape. But we're not here to give you an escape.

We're here to give you a lesson. What you need. You don't want it, but you need. The lesson. Talk to him.

Let them know what time it is. Bro, I couldn't ask for more than that. Fellas, thank you for everything that you do. We need an hour. Yeah, for real.

For both of you. Not only for the WWE universe, but for your people as well. We appreciate y'all. Shout out to the new day. I gotta say thank you for that enthusiasm when you do it because sometimes we go on these interviews and these radio hosts are, oh, we're here with the new day.

And we got to stop the whole episode and say, hey, you need to have some enthusiasm and get your shit because you need to appreciate who is here and what's happening.

So I appreciate that. I appreciate the enthusiasm. I don't recognize Brilliant. We don't recognize game. I understand why you turned your back on your man.

It might not be popular, but we kind of get it. I understand why you did what you did. He turned his back on. We turned his back on. Technically, we didn't turn our back.

We looked at him straight in the face and we told him to go home. You gave him the hard truth. We sent him home. All right, but before you guys go, Woods, Kratos versus Diamond Slayer, who? Ooh.

I know. I had to give you this one before you left. It's going to be controversial. No. Boom, sire.

No contest wrestling podcast with the new day. Here at No Contest, we spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool.

So we had to bring out the man who brought it all in fashion. Carlito. Carlito, welcome to the pod. Thank you, man. I appreciate it, man.

Thank you. And you can see he has an apple with him. Yeah, just people come and hand me apples all the time. I'm going to watch my word, try and get it spat on me. It's growing on two.

Usually they take the apples away because of that.

So I'm hoping this will go good. I have a lot of people. What? Because keep on our P's and Q's. 100%.

I mean, this is close vicinity, right? What started the apple? Like, what was there a conversation? It was just some ripoff of old Razor Ramon vignettes. If you look at one, he was, I don't know, I think it was at a somewhere at a fruit stand or something, and he spat, he grabbed some kind of fruit.

And then when they did mine, I guess they just rehashed it, and then it happened to be an apple. And then they just, they loved it. They spat in the guy's face. They said, man, you should keep on doing that.

So, you know what? I'm the one spitting the apple. Yeah, I do it. Has there ever been somebody where you're like, damn? Yeah.

I really got them. It's weird, man. People are weird about it. People that when you pitch it, people take it like it's a badge of honor. You know what I mean?

And they get excited about it, yeah. Yeah, because it's so synonymous that, yeah, I can spoke all that. Yeah, I've never had anybody kind of like, nah, I ain't doing that. No, they kind of like put a smile on their face, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah.

A lot of time on the street, too, people ask me, man, would you spit my face? I was like, what? Have you done that? No, I haven't done it because there's probably legal issues with that, you know what I mean? Come on.

You mean they don't even want the Apple? They just literally want to go. I want to get like that. They go, if I brought you, they'll go brutal, would you spin my face or something? I brought you an apple can you spit in my face?

You know, wrestling fan. Yeah, I brought you a picture of something. Wrestling fans were a weird breed, Carlito. You know that. I guess.

Well, yeah, you know, you are right there. Yeah, yeah. Right there. Mel, we're here for WWE 2K25. You know, for people who've been playing.

Uh, 2K, for a while, you have gone from somebody that we've had to get from the Creation community, so like people. For years, yeah, for years they'd be saying to me, Hey, I made you in the game. Exactly, but like now you're here, you're in it, man. How does it feel? You got a, do you game?

Do you play the game? You got any younger relatives that are into it? I'm sure I got like a nephews and stuff that play that. I haven't played, I haven't played since, I don't know, like. 2010 or something.

Yeah. So it was crazy to. But then again, it's really not that big of a deal because it got so good at those makeups. Yeah, the thing is. It practically looks like the supermodel they have now.

Some of the people out there are like really good. Right, really good at it. You guys gotta figure out how to make money off that. One, they're really good, and two, they got a lot of time on their hands. Yeah, yeah.

They got time. Yeah, yeah, it's one of those time on it. Curly, I look at your career and I kind of like. compare you to that rookie sensation that wins a championship their first year. You go out, you win the Intercontinental title your very first match on TV.

that we saw, like going back to Did you think, all right, this is just going to be easy? You know, because getting a title that early is. Yeah, I grew up in the business. Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean?

So to me, it's been a job. You know what I mean? So I never got like a big head or anything. I kind of knew the way it works.

So yeah, to me it was just, you know, it's just another day at the office. Yeah. Now Day of the opposite, but another day. Yeah, solid day of the opposite, but still not the opposite. Yeah, but I'm not mistaken.

You won the U.S. belt your first time out. Check it out on first time on RAW, yeah. All right, so growing up in the business, being aware of everything that goes into it, how people, you know, a lot of the times it's right place, right time as far as opportunity. Tell me what it felt like to be one of those people to be blessed with the opportunity, and what's it like going home with that belt?

You know, laying your head on the pillow as Intercontinental Champion of the World. I'm trying to remember. At that point, I think they didn't let us take the belt with us. Oh! Yeah, you'd have to send to get the replica.

I don't think, buddy, I don't think I would have. Who knows? Back in the day, I was a little crazy, so who knows? I might have done some stuff with the belt. Thank God that I think by that time, it wasn't like cell phones and that.

So I don't think I would have had the urge to take pictures or something with a belt or something.

Now, you did. You grew up, your father, legendary wrestler himself. What was life? For you, like growing up with a dad who was just a wrestling superstar, like young Carlito growing up, what was it like? Um, it was crazy, man, you know, but it was it opened up to the you know, opened up the experience of what being a wrestler is, you know.

I mean, so I saw, you know. I don't want to get bothered by people asking for autographs or, you know, people get mad when they're eating or something. But it's just I'd say that's good, it's just part of the gig, you know what I mean? I don't complain about things that I signed up for, you know, that I knew about before I signed up. It was something that I didn't know, but okay.

But if you knew beforehand, You know, you just accept it, you know what I mean? Sure, it could be a pain, but. It is what it is. With your dad, like when you go to school. Because he told me a story once, you know, about his dad that he didn't quite realize his dad was in NWA.

Right. You going to school growing up, like, did you realize who Carlos Colón was? Or did you just like, oh, that's just my dad, and I'm sure your friends probably have the same experience as his dad. You know what I mean? Yeah, it's nothing.

It's just dad. This is what he does. Whenever people are like, you know, what's it like? That's all you're growing up with ice cube. And I'm like, well, you know, he eats cereal at night.

Makes me take out the trash. Right, yeah, yeah, exactly. It's like, yeah, it's like, it's everything you know, right? Exactly. So, like, I Growing up in the entertainment industry, you know, watching my dad do music and do movies, I didn't really get hit like.

With the cinema bug until I'm like in college. When did you get bit by the wrestling bug where you were like, you know what? I want to go this route.

Well, like I said before, I grew up in the business, so I had every kind of job that you could have within, because my dad runs this promotion still in Puerto Rico.

So I started off in the canteen, selling sodas and things we call them panadillas, which anyway, people in Puerto Rico know. From there, I went to Beer Hawker. I'd be the one, you know, beer, cold beer. From there, putting up the ring. Then I think from there, cameraman, and then the next logical step was to become a wrestler.

I was like, you know, I was about 19 when I started. I kind of saw, I was like, you know, I'm kind of the same size as these guys. I could probably do this.

So, yeah, it was just an evolution. Then, once college didn't pan out, I realized books wasn't for me. Studying wasn't really for me. I said, you know what, I'm going to stick to this wrestling thing, see how far it goes. I feel that when I was, my first job ever was a PA on a movie set, and after that, I worked crew for my dad when he was on tour.

So like just being in that environment, it's easy to kind of see your avenue on how you could fit in.

Something that we ask everybody. You guys have great first jobs, because my first job was at Red Lobster. Yeah, I got some Red Lobster. My parents' first day was at Red Lobster. I'm lucky I've never had a, I call a real job.

Everything's been wrestling related. Hey, that's a hard ass job. Right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But we ask this question for everybody who's on NCW. Um You're in a bar. There's 50 dudes that would I take them. You know about that? You know?

I've seen it. I've seen it. I've seen it. Yeah, we need four other superstars with you, so make sure you get to the car to beat those 50 dudes. Probably say Haku.

I just heard stories. I'm sure the old timers. The old timers will tell you that. We should probably have to ask her somebody other than Haku. Yeah, right.

Probably take Brock. Just because I don't think you need to have to do anything, just looking at them, they say, you know what? Uh third guy, this is the f just the fight, right? Yeah. Fire I think.

Probably Bobby Lashley. That's a good one. Bobby Lashley or Shelton, either of those two. Shelton's quiet. Yeah.

But he's. I've heard stories. He's an assassin. Yeah, he's an assassin. You don't want to get him at it.

And then fourth, I'd probably be my dad. He didn't talk about it a lot to me, but... The stories I hear from all the old timers, because remember, he's a black Puerto Rican in the South back in them days, you know what I mean?

So, head on the swivel. You had to fight, you know what I mean?

So, yeah, I hear a whole bunch of like. Stuff that would happen, and he wouldn't handle it, you know what I mean?

So, Pops was the top guy for well over two decades. Right, right.

So, he got the job done. Let me ask you. We're going to give you a chance to go back in time and pick three wrestlers. to main event WrestleMania with. Rich three people.

Would you choose? To set it up. Yes. Probably have to be uh Macho Man. Mm.

Randy Matchman Savage. I think that's the first time I've heard for some weird reason. I just think he's the guy that. You know, most guys either have one or the other. They're great in-ring performers or they're great on the mic.

I just felt like he was. One of the few guys that was both, you know what I mean?

Well he stone cold Steve Osage because of the paycheck. Then I mean, would have been huge. You're buying a summer house. At the end of the day, yeah. At the end of the day, that's what we're trying to.

And then a third guy. I'm trying to think. Probably Probably my brother, you know, let's go sentimental, you know what I mean? That'd be a cool thing, just brothers. headlining a WrestleMania.

That's lovely right there. You growing up in the business, you know, it's a little wonky of a question because I'm sure you were privy to everything that was going on, but is there a time when you watching as a fan? where wrestling broke your heart. But wrestling broke my heart. Yeah, we've had answers like the Undertaker streak getting destroyed, that Braunbreaker.

We just heard. Bailey says when he does it. Is there a moment in time as a fan where you watch where wrestling broke your heart? You're like, why the God, why? No.

That guy yeah, like I said, I was never like uh A fan of wrestling, it was just. You know, it's just what I do, you know what I mean? What I'm growing up in.

So, yeah, I never got into it. Oh, you know, actually, maybe one time. Probably Puerto Rico when Abdullah Butcher threw ammonium in my dad's eyes and mine for uh Which kinda sucked 'cause I was I don't know I was in high school or something and they wanted me to be on on camera, like looking down at crying and it's like, oh my god. On camera, I don't understand the business, whatever. I'm not gonna cry, crap.

No, because my friends are gonna make fun of me at school and they say, I don't wanna say all those self-defense.

So I ended up doing it. That's one thing that kind of broke my heart, just because I had to go on TV and cry. That is definitely the heaviest answer we've got. We're going. You Had to run with the company.

Then you went away for a few years, you returned, came back to Puerto Rico. Pay-per-view, which was one of the greatest spectacles. I think that WWE has ever had. How Has the company, the locker room changed? Between the last time you were here and now?

It's night and day. I've been talking about it, I call it. Boring, but it's a good boring. You know what I mean? It's not what it used to be.

But I mean, it needed to. To be cleaned up, you know what I mean? Yeah, now it's been replaced with like protein shakes and video games in the back, which is. I remember with Lillian Garcia and maybe R-Truth, we were just talking about. We were at some gathering, and everything was just so tame, so low-key.

I said, wow, man, things have really changed. Really boring. Everybody evolved a little bit. But it's a good boring. You know what I mean?

It's what it needed. It couldn't have. Couldn't maintain the way it was going 'cause we were just out of their mind oh, they were out of their minds back then. I was just along with the ride. Or taking on us, bro.

Man, one of these days, we gotta get you on our show, give us a full interview, bro. Yeah, man, I love that. Thank you so much for coming on. The coolest there is, Carlito, everybody. Thank you, man.

Ladies and gentlemen. TJ and I are fresh out of Lucas Oil Stadium. The Rumble. And then We just had to strike in the code. Both of our faces are numb.

I can't feel my fingers right now. Right. I'm here to give you guys a reaction. We're both still recovering with our voices and everything. Obviously, We got to talk about.

Pody retaining is like we felt we would What a good match, though, man. That was violent. They put on a banger. Banger. Went out into the crowd, used all the space.

Um all the ladders. Yeah bro, how many ladders is under there? It's like you said like a It's like you said during the show, they butt Lowe's out. Right. They just went to Lowe's or Home Depot and just took them out.

You know, the city of Indiana Indianapolis got to have a shortage by now. Yeah, if you need to get on your roof tomorrow or you live in Indy, you out of luck because Lowe's and Home Depot ain't got no ladders for you. We even saw the ladder from We LC pop up putting stuff off the refrigerator. But yeah, they put on a banger. There was a point where Cody was smashing Kevin's head on the announce table where it was like, yo, Cody is vicious right now.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah, so if they put on a banger match, obviously. Cody retains Um, yeah, but but I could, you know, but the psychology of what happened, you know, Kevin gets hurt, Cody gets hurt. Uh you know All of a sudden, Sami Zayn comes down. And Sammy's checking on both of them because you know he went to Kevin first, and then he went to But he was close. They reacted to that.

And then he went and checked on Cody. And then he kind of stuck out there.

So I was like, is Sammy going to interfere? But he didn't. And then. Kevin Getting put through that ladder at the end by Cody. That was.

What the flat jack, what was it, Bob Holly move? The Alabama Slam, was that what it was? Off of the shore, Alabama Slam through the ladder that was, you know, half hanging from the ring to the announce table. We put KO through that, and then Chloe was able to climb the ladder and grab both belts. Man, you know, KO was out, dog.

He was, he was, he was laid out for a minute after that.

So, but bravo to those two, man. They put on a show and they did it. Yeah, much respect to them. We saw The um you know, the tag titles, DIY retain lows. But the thing that's really juicy about that match is.

Street profits going into business for themselves. Yeah, I think they're over it, man. They're tired of the BS and it showed.

So this could be a new, you know, a new route, new path for the prophets, man. And they definitely want all the smoke. Yeah, and you know the street profits are They are a group that You know, for a hot minute, they were on top of the world. Yeah. You know, like WWE was positioning them to be the next up.

Um as far as the same light that we saw the New day the Usos in back in the day, of just like these are going to be the guys who are going to be running the division back and forth with whatever rivalry team they put in front of them. Um, you know, there was even hint like whispers of Montez going solo. Yeah. And they kind of been put on the back burner. And they're saying, you know, they're tired of the shit.

They don't want it. Yeah, they ain't with it. Yeah, exactly. And, you know, I've been such a fan of them. Yeah.

They're so great with the crowd. The crowd seemed to respond to that little term, too.

So it's going to be interesting to see where this goes. Three great tag teams, man. Tag team business is picking up right now. Absolutely. But let's get to the fucking meat and potatoes.

Yeah, man. The show kicked off with the Women's Royal Rumble match. And I'm going to be honest with you guys: about, I don't know, 20 minutes into this match, my voice was gone because I'm sure you heard me on TV yelling E.O. Sky's name repeatedly. But yeah, by the end of that match, I was talking like this: my voice was shot.

Just so much fun, man. That was an amazing match. Yeah, it was great. You know, we had a great time. We were.

We were actually sitting behind Pat McAfee's wife. Yeah, she was. Shout out to Mrs. McAfee, man. She's dope.

She's so cool. Your wife is cool, Pat. Straight up. um but yeah we were having a good she was she's real real uh behind chelsea green shell um chelsea love nia jax too yeah man friend of the show friend of the show nia jax episode 17 holler yeah um obviously after today friend of the show bailey You know, we were really rooting for her, the role model. Um It's a lot of youth was kind of served in this woman's royal rubble, man, because you know, a lot of the women that were coming out.

Pretty new to the main roster. You know, you had Roxanne Perez, you had Lyra Valkyria, you know. And then later on in the match, you know, of course, you had Stephanie Vakor came out, then Julia came out, you know, and you're looking at like that's the future right there. And at separate times, you know, you kind of had the old guard and the new guard kind of squaring off against each other, as though a nod to the past and a look to the future. And I think the future, the company's in good hands, man.

Yeah, absolutely. Roxanne looked amazing. You know, like, obviously, I've been seeing her. On NXT. Uh for a while now, but It's just something about seeing her with the main roster.

uh women that i'm like I see it. I see what they see. You know, the prodigy is, yeah, she's the real deal. She did her fucking thing. And shout out, shout out.

You mentioned Chelsea Green. You know, she did her thing comedically, you know, which is what she does. And, you know, she, you know, she was very entertaining that moment with Bianca, Naomi, Jada. Was it lash in there too? And they all just circle Black girl moment, and Chelsea walked in the middle of it.

That shit was comic. And I would. O'Shea, I'll be remiss if I didn't. When I was mentioning the young guns, I somehow, someway left Miss Parker out because she was in there doing her thing there. Shout out to Jada Parker.

You know. See, my voice is cracking, dog. I'm screaming at the top of my lungs. I'm losing it right now. EO!

There was, you know, we were a little alarmed. I got Don Bowie in the room with me right now. He's cracking up at DO. You know, save it up to the people, Dog. EO!

But there was a scare with Lash Legend. Yeah, I'm not sure what happened. she could she she was right in front of us so we couldn't really tell but she was down for a minute were working on her and when she got up she kind of limped off so Hopefully it's nothing too serious. Yeah, because she's on the up and up right now. She looked great, she looked dominant.

in uh in the rumble but There only had to be one winner, bro. She's upon us. She is back. The queen is back, bro. Charlotte Flair did her thing.

You know, we kind of assumed that that's what was gonna happen, you know, because you need that star power in WrestleMania, and not many people bring star power. More than more than Charlotte Flair. And you know, her gear looked amazing. Who was ever, like you said, who's ever rhinestone and blinging out these spits, man, back there? They need a raise, man.

In your She had the sparkle knee brace rocking. You know, she, you know, it was good to see her back, you know. And I know a lot of people have Charlotte fatigue, kind of like Mahomes fatigue. But the fact of the matter is, you know, I always kind of resisted the. You know, people saying that she only got to where she was because of who her dad is, which I find ridiculous because if.

If that were the case, if having a father who was a legend in wrestling was The only criteria for you to be the champion then.

Well, you know, why wasn't David San Martino world champion? You know, why I used to say this before Cody became world champion, but. Yeah, I'll go back. Why Cody and Dustin Rhodes, why were they never world champion? You know, think all the second generation wrestlers that were, you know, never got to be.

Champion of her level, you know, but their fathers, their moms were legends.

So it takes a lot more than just that.

So I hate the fact that people kind of saddle Charlotte with that, you know, that trope, I guess. Yeah, and I'm not going to act like. There weren't times Where I was, you know Upset with the decision to go with Charlotte. That's the whole reason why Becky Lynch had to push that she did because the entire crowd felt like Becky deserved something. But Charlotte, dude.

She She has been putting off for us for years. Even the last match where she got hurt and tore her ACL and MCL, she finished the match. She has given so much to us as fans that, like, bro, get over yourself. And, you know, it's a Charlotte Fair, second generation. They hate us because they ain't us.

Keep on balling, bro. We're happy to see you back. Glad you got the victory. You deserve the victory. You know, we, we, We, as fans, have missed you.

And, you know, watching her physical therapy videos, everything that she was going through to get back here. And then for her to finally come back at the Rumble, look as good as she did. Um yeah, I'm excited to see where they're gonna go with it. Obviously, my natural thought is a Charlotte versus Tiffy time at Mania, which is going to look crazy maybe it could be it could be charlotte and ria though Yeah, but I've seen that. I need to see the blonde battle, bro.

Like you were just saying, it's the old guard. Showing the new, you know, passing whether it's a torch passing or showing uh Uh, a new dog, some old tricks, you know.

So we'll see, we'll see what she decides to do with that. But we're excited that she's back, she's healthy, she looks great. The damn her gear looked like a Michael Jackson jacket. It was just, she was on fire. Welcome back, Charlotte Flair.

We missed you, and we're ready to rock. Let's just see if the mic skills are still how we remember. She's real mean. I like mean Charlotte.

Well, she's not like. It's not like she forgot how to talk.

So I think Rustin's real is real, bro. We'll see.

We'll see what she does. But speaking of this year, speaking of the old guards, you know, we all said Trish Stratus come out looking amazing and Nikki Bella, Nikki Bella coming in at 30. You know, like that was, it was great to see those two. Alexa Bliss returned. What a pop, man.

Don't forget my girl.

Well, I'm not there yet. But Alexa Bliss got that. Man, she the crowd popped huge for her. It's been such a long time. You know, she had a baby, took some time off, you know, to start her family.

So it's good. And, you know, she comes back out, you know, and had a jacket on that said, what, Fiend for Life or Fiend Forever? You know, is that nod to Bray Wyatt?

So, you know. Going to be interesting to see where she goes. You know, I believe she lives. Eliminated her, so we could be looking at live and Alexa. Who knows, man?

There's so many routes they could look at this. But I'm going to give a shout out again to Trish Stratus and Nikki Bella for looking amazing out there. Tonight. Absolutely. But let me give, you know, just because I've been an Alexa Bliss fan for a very long time.

Um the other night. Uh or SmackDown. Liv Morgan called Tiffany Stratton, a live more than you wanna be. Maybe. Alexa Bliss is back, bro.

I need to see. I need to see that beef. I need to see that. Because even when I just said that. Yeah, like when she's on, when Alexa.

was on her horse bit.

Sometimes when Liv would come out, I would think their music was like the same.

So I'm very excited, like you said, TJ, to see where that is going. I need to see that happen. Alexa Bliss, welcome back. Nikki Bella, everything that she's been going through in her own personal life is great to see her back. Back home, you know, back home.

Uh, for those who have anything to say about it, you know how the IWC is, bro. Y'all don't get it. Or not even though they almost forget. Like, the Bella twins were the ones who broke out. They're the ones who brought so many eyes to the women's division at that time.

And, you know, like. I see a little bit of Bella twin disrespect, and I'm not here for it, to be honest with it. Don't bring it around me because I'll tell you about yourself. You know, Nikki and Bree were once my GMs of my fantasy football team one year, and we were awful. And I blame them for that.

But other than that, I ain't going to let you talk bad about it. I'll talk bad about the fact that they like the Eagles. I don't like that about them whatsoever, and they know that. But other than that, I'll ride with the Bellas for real. We got to get Nikki on, bro.

I need to hear this story from her point of view, bro. Oh, she's going to talk trash and say it was me, but trust me, it was less Bri and more Nikki that really ruined my season. That's a story for another day. But yeah, very, you know, well done. Uh, everybody all around, everybody involved in the women's rumble.

You should be proud. Yeah, it was awesome. Congrats, congrats to all the ladies. I hope everybody's all right. Nia, I don't think I've ever seen someone, one thing though.

You kept saying, this is Oscar. This is Asuka. I wanted Asuka every time the countdown came. I was like, please be Asuka. I mean, literally, because I wanted it to be right.

So I recorded everyone, and it wasn't Asuka. She never came out, but I, and that hurt me. But I can't wait for all, you know, know me. But by the way, just this is just off the. Subject, but did you have to see Oscar's tweets recently about apparently someone?

Not look, man, people, if you're watching this, don't be doing that. Don't be following these performers, hassling them. They don't want you. I'm sorry, they don't. Mm-hmm.

Wait a minute, I gotta take my own words of wisdom there because there's about five that I wish one of me, but they don't, they don't. We're cool. But yeah, in all honesty, man, that that really kind of bothered me to see those tweets she had. Mm-hmm. It can be scary, man.

It can be scary. And I hope she's okay. And I hope she's got people, you know, traveling with her and watching. watching her back because people are people crazy The last tweet I saw about it, she said that WWE and TKO were taking action to protect her. Very happy about it.

Listen, she's the greatest women's wrestler of all time, all right?

So that's an asset. Please protect Asuka at all costs. All right, she's the GOAT. She's the greatest of all time. Bro, she's a beast.

By the way, shots of Bianca Calair with the five back flips off the turn. Yeah, Bianca. I mean, Bianca's just. I mean, what more can you say? Like, it's almost like Bianca could win everything all the time, but then people would turn on her because you know how they are.

So you kind of got to hold her back a little bit. But Bianca's money. And like I said, like I was starting to say, they're going to start calling her Bianca Bohogan.

Well, they already started the Bianca Cena. Type talk, you know. But as I was saying before with Nia, I don't think I've ever seen anyone eliminate like six women with one move. Like everyone's hanging off the ropes, and I just hit everyone. Like, I've never seen.

That happened. I can't wait to go back and re-watch that to see, make sure I saw what I saw. But it did seem like between four and six women she eliminated at one time. Yeah. And oh, and also, you know, the one another like that.

Called Pinto, the worst kept secret. We all knew that Jordan Grace was going to be in a WWE.

Okay, welcome. Great reception for the Juggernaut. You know, she went out there, she did her thing, looked great. You know, she's going to do well. Did I mention Jada Parker was in the okay.

Just wanted. Yeah, but you are a super. Yeah, so now after that. our main event. Sure.

And that's not foreshadowing, but our main event, the men's Royal Rumble. Dude, now. First of all, what a way to start off. Rey Mysterio at one. Who's he gonna who's he gonna go and then here comes Penta and it's like okay, let's go Yeah, dude, and it was And then, of course, they made the master of the Luchador, Jad Gable, come out right after the deal with Ray and Pinta.

Um, but you a little bit of a, I hate saying botches, I'll just say a little bit of a misstep. Ray and Penza were doing a lot, like hanging off the ropes, and then at one point. I mean, it was kind of clear. Both of Penta's feet hit the floor. But I don't think there was a referee that was watching them.

Rep didn't see it. Ref didn't see it. We all saw it. I'm pretty sure I saw it. Like I said, it happened quick, but you know, it happens.

So sometimes you just got to like, all right. Man in black. Forget you saw it. Let's keep it running, keep it moving. And they did that, you know.

And then, like you said, Gable came out, did his thing. It was a fun match, man. It was kind of. Because you never really knew who was going to. win this thing.

Now If you listen to the No Contest Wrestling Podcast. At the end of our Nia Jax episode, I think around 55 or 58 minutes mark. We start talking about the Rumble. And when it came time to talk about who we think was going to pull it out. We said Jay Uso, bro.

Yeah, but I'm saying that's a think, but at the same point, like it was still up. There were literally five guys at the end who are like each one of these. Oh, yeah, each one of them had a bot had a viable face, you know. Each one of them, if they were to prevail. you would see logically where the company was going.

But I will say if they wanted the answers. They had to come to the No Contest Wrestling podcast made like. come on dog come on too sweet yo you know what i just Don, show the clip. Personally, when it comes to picks, I know the best feel-good story would probably be. Uh especially after what he did at Saturday night's main event.

It would be J. With it because nobody's I don't see anybody really You're hammering for them. There's no, it would kind of be. Like a oh yeah. Beautiful feeling moment.

That stadium would go crazy. All right, we back. Roman at 16. That was a surprise. I thought he was at least going to be in the 20s.

The pop. The entire Lucas oil stand immediately with the ones in the air like rockets, bro. Amazing, amazing environment. See the chief at a rumble. I can't even remember the last time I saw that.

It was a lot of moments of Guys waiting for their one-on-one moments. Jacob Fatu. Jacob Batu. At some point, you can't keep letting Jacob Batu. come out on TV and do his thing because What are you doing?

Like, you just got to give this guy all the belts at some point. No, but it's The dude is box office. The dude has been written all over. Also, who's money is episode 16's guest Braun Breaker. Man, Braun Breaker went out there and put on a star-making performance wearing a singlet that was covered in Steiner mask.

And You know, Bron went out there and he From his run to the ring, you know, after he came out from the back to the multiple spears he hit to. Just just Dominated. Yeah. Braun Breaker had a star-making performance in this Rumble, man. And it was something to see.

Braun Strowman came out, you know, and he put in some work, you know. Ludwig Kaiser, he kind of got the shaft a little bit. Yeah, okay. You know how that goes. Yeah, yeah.

But not as bad as Tozawa. Yeah, Tozawa didn't even make it to the ring. And so when that happened, I'm like, all right, who's. Who's gonna who's not who did it, but like, all right, who's gonna come out now? Because obviously, and then it happened to be your guy, Speed, you know, I don't know how I feel about, you know, I don't know.

Especially eliminating, getting an elimination, but you know what, man, it's the kids. We're being brawn, yeah, wearing crocs, too. How about that? And then uh Yeah, Bron, Bron breaks. Needs to send speed and edible arrangements, bro.

Because, my God, man, he destroyed that man. He couldn't even get a full turnaround. speed speed took full on breaker yeah and it you know it it i i applaud him for taking such a hard bump And then the table bump that he took as well on the outside from Otis. You know, we as. To the rest of the community, we love that you, you know.

They understood that like There's a moment here. Let's not milk it. It was entertaining. Um speed got to get down. The dude has done amazing work going around the world and just being a connected beacon with his community.

So much respect to ISO Speed for taking a bump from Bron Breaker, dude. You know, you didn't just take a. you know a fall off of anything you took a re uh A two-rebound off-the-rope spear from Braun Breaker.

So I salute you, bro. Um also later on who do we see who do we see that we Obviously, CM Punk came out. Yeah, let's get to the sketch to the end of this, man, because it's, you know, at the end, we're, you know, we're in the ring, we got Roman, we got Punk, we got Seth. Who else was there at the end? AJ was in there for a while.

Cena, Jey Uso, you know, there was definitely some star power in there at the end with Logan Paul. And I'm going to be honest, man, I thought Punk was going to get it done. Logan Paul eliminates Punk and wasn't it? It was a two for one, right? No, no, because punk got set in Roman.

That's right. Punk got Seth and Roger. And he was looking at them. And then Logan got punked. I'm going to tell you what happened at that point.

I got up out of my seat and I just left. Yeah. Tell them what I did though, Shay. We couldn't find TJ. He uh he was distraught.

And I completely agree with him. Whoever was on, whoever in the IWC posted that, that whoever eliminates Roman. uh went on to win The uh the Royal Rumble, you jinx my man CM Punk. I was so prepared to get on his case because he was number 24, and I was going to make a Kobe joke because he's a Jordan guy, and you screwed us.

So, you know, thanks. But it came down to Jay. Sina And the maverick. Logan Paul. Cena took care of Logan Paul.

And then it felt like no matter who was going to win between Cena and Logan. J. We were going to leave feeling good. But Like we said, Cena has been advertised for the elimination chamber.

So like, I just didn't think he was gonna pull out that W and of course Jey Uso, the long awaited WrestleMania main event, Jey Uso is here. Singles, singles, because he's done it as character, his brother. But singles. And It is um I mean, how it couldn't happen to a better guy. Yeah, ma'am.

Now, the decision, obviously, in my mind, I think he's going after Gunther, but we don't know. We don't know until he makes that decision. Yeah, right. We saw what he did at the Saturday Night Main event, which is, you know, in our last episode, which is what I said was kind of my gold seal: this guy could do it. This guy could.

uh possibly win this rumble And yeah, I think it's only a matter of time before the biggest face in the company gets gold around his waist, bro. Yeah, it's I want Punk versus Cody. Who knows, Elimination Chamber, you might get that, but like, just shout out to Jey Uso, man. Such a hard thing to do to break out from being known as a tag team wrestler to being the most over guy in the business, man. Salute to you, my brother, because you did it and the crowd was behind it.

Great moment with John John Cena put him over, man. That's like a you know, a passing of the torch type moment. Not that he's necessarily going to be the face of the company, but you know, going getting John Cena to give you that rub. Can't beat it. Yeah.

It's um it I think I speak for my man TJ and myself when I say. Yeah. What a time, bro. What a time. I'm very excited to see what happens on Monday Night Raw.

Uh Royal Rumble. Happy with the results as a fan of the company. Much, you know, thank you to WWE. for bringing us out here, showing us love. 2K25 and everything that this trick has been.

What a great, great, great couple days here. And then, DJ, like you said, shout out to. WWE 2K25 for making it happen, man. Shout out to WWE. This was amazing.

But now, bye. By the time they see this episode, TJ. It's time for us to get back to work, bro. Right? But the grind never stops.

So we will continue to make no contest. Um, as maybe as you guys wanted, yeah, and thank you for everybody who stopped us, shouted us out, showed us love, you know, compliment the podcast. You don't even understand how much that means, man, because this has been something that we've wanted for a while. I know I've been waiting two years for us to like. Get this thing kicked off.

So, to have all this happen in such a short amount of time, it's a blessing. I don't take it for granted. And, you know, hopefully, you know, we can continue to inform and entertain you. Yeah, boy. TJ, my brother.

I couldn't ask for a better Tag team partner. No doubt, man. And, you know, I love, you know. You know who my friends are, my best friends are.

So I've always been kind of the guy next to the guy, seeing my boys get shown love. And now, you know, with you, for me, it's just like I love seeing the love that you were getting shown here, man. People, you know, really ride for you, dog. And that, that, you know, you should be proud of that, you should be happy of that. You know, just keep doing what you're doing.

And by proxy, that helps me out.

So, you know, I'm here for it. Absolutely, bro. The only thing in the world gotta be kind, bro. There was these three. I'm ready.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Thank you guys for checking out our little recap of the Rumble. And we are the grind don't stop, as TJ said. We will be back with another guest for you next week. Um what? Respect to Jay Uso.
