It's good to see you on this lovely Wednesday. And TJ, I am the heel that you love to hate, O'Shea Jackson Jr. Hey, yo, it's me. It's me.

It's that T double OJI double G2 jiggy, TJ Jefferson. What up, kid? And I mean, I'm doing great and I'm about to do a whole lot greater because we have a special announcement to announce to our fans here at NCWP. Yeah, I got to say, O'Shea, I got to say, man, when this was all getting put together in my mind, something like this was like, this needs to happen. This will happen.

You put it out in the universe and it's happening. And this is just the start. Let them know. That's right, man. And those who have been watching WWE, you know that they've invited people like Kai Snett and I Show Speed. They also invited your boys at NCWP to the Royal Rumble. We will be in Indianapolis. We will be giving you guys content live from the event. And it is going down, y'all. They recognize the show.

They picked your boys up. WWE 2K. The video game release, of course, with our tribal chief, the man we acknowledge, Roman Reigns on the cover. We will be there, you know, covering the release with some 2K 25 with the talent. You know, I'm I'm sure, you know, the bloodline will be there. I'm sure Paul Heyman will be there. Who knows who's going to be there or say, I don't know. But I know that you and I will be there and we'll be covering this. And we're just going to have a blast on Saturday, a few hours before the actual Rumble happens.

Absolutely. And, you know, there's just certain things that's that's happened in my life where I'm like the little kid version of Shay would have blown up in a spotlight. Would have blown up in a spontaneous combustion if he found out that the WWE was inviting him to come play video games and watch wrestling. Like, what does that like? That's insane. Yo, I'm telling you, man, crazy. I know.

And I'm not trying to be arrogant or cocky in any in any way. But, you know, I was telling a friend of mine about this and I and my first instinct was like, I can't believe it. No, no, no, I do. I do believe it.

And I do believe that it happened. And I do believe that we're getting this opportunity. And of course, thankful for it. And I know we're going to go out there and just make the best of it. But it's truly an honor to to have been asked to come in and be a part of this, man.

This is this is going to be so much fun. So what you're saying is you're pulling an Obafemi, you know, where he said, you know, other people would come out here and say, I didn't know I could do this. I knew I could do it. I always knew I could do. I always knew the second the second that this this came to fruition, the second I said, yo, this is the guy. And the second you said yes. I don't know if you remember when you were on the show, Rich and Chris on the main show and the Rich Eisen show.

They just got back from doing the fanatics panel that they went to New York for fanatics and they put on their podcast overreaction Monday there. And I told you on that day that my goal is to have us be there next year and to do other things in the same similar vein. So this is just the start, brother. Congratulations.

I can't wait to get this thing going. Congratulations to you, man. We are we are so grateful to whoever the hell. Made the decision over at WWE is much appreciated. We're grateful for you guys giving us the superstars that you have, including today's guest.

The irresistible force. Nia Jax will be joining the pod, ladies and gentlemen. Yes, indeed. You know, the two time women's champion, you know, two time tag team champion, a lot of twos with her. We're going to be covering everything, man. I want to talk about, you know, her start in the business. We want to talk about, you know, that moment with Becky Lynch.

I want to make sure I ask about that, because I'm dying to know, you know, with that punch heard around the world and, you know, everything in between her family in the business, you know, her bar fight crew. You know, we're going to get to that, O'Shea, you know, things like that. Absolutely. No doubt. Yeah, I'm really excited to see who she's going to pick for that team, because not only, you know, in the ring, she's had a lot of great matches with the superstars in the women's division.

But outside of the ring, if you've seen some behind the scenes, you know what type of lovable person Nia Jax is and how much they all, you know, they click. So it's going to be interesting to see who our team is. We're going to be bringing you guys that today. And then at the end of that, maybe a little get you a little excited for the rumble, which will be featuring NCWP, ladies and gentlemen. Well, look, I'm tired.

I'm sure they're tired of us yapping. Nia Jax, where you at? Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, somebody that me and TJ are very excited to have on our show. She's a two time women's tag team champion. A two time WWE Women's Champion, the only superstar in the history of the company to be in two rumbles on the same day.

Two. Queen of the Ring, also a PWI Rookie of the Year. She's also a fan.

She's a fan of an iced Americano with sugar free mocha, almond milk and two splendors. Nia Jax, welcome to the club. Yes, with my order. I love that. Thanks for joining us. Thanks for having me, guys.

That was awesome. Of course. Absolutely. Absolutely. We try to be professional around here.

You know, even though we fan out, we try to hide that fanning out and be extra professional when we're, you know, on the mics, which I love it now. Now, obviously, this weekend, the Royal Rumble. Can you express to us mere mortals what it's like to not only mentally prepare, but also go into a match that is really about endurance and just chaos? Well, there is nothing to prepare for the rumble because to be fair, you don't know where you're going to land in the 30 spots, right? You could be number one and like Bailey last over an hour till the very end, or you can come in at 30 and be in there for like two seconds like I was one rumble.

So, you know, you're never prepared. And like, you know, speaking of the rumble, I was in where I was in the women's rumble and then I entered the men's rumble. That was something I was completely unprepared for because I was told right as the doors open and fans were arriving that like, hey, you're also in the men's rumble, too. So make sure once you're done with the women's rumble, you go back and talk to the boys before and they'll let you know what you're doing.

And I was like, what? So there's nothing to prepare for a Royal Rumble. And I feel as though other than like WrestleMania, the energy in Royal Rumble with the fans is just next level. Like they're so excited for everybody who comes out that like you can't you can't compare it to anything else. Like they they make our job way easier and way more fun.

Yeah. The fan aspect of everything. There's nothing like just speaking from a fan perspective, being in a crowd that is on fire is what makes you fall in love with it. So my next question would be, when did you get bit by that wrestling bug? And also, can you tell us your welcome to wrestling moment, a bump or anything you took that was like, OK, this is my job now. So the bug hit me when I went to WrestleMania 28 when Dwayne returned and he went in to face John, John Cena.

John. Yeah. And I was sitting out there with my aunt and I was just like being a fan at that moment. And I'm just watching how like the fans are so into it.

And then I'm watching my cousin out there like killing it. It was like a mix of athleticism with entertainment. And then, you know, I I've always been a fan, but that was like being in the crowd and experiencing a massive WrestleMania in Miami. There was nothing like it. And I remember turning to my aunt and just being like, do you think I could do something like this?

Right there. And I'm like, I feel as though this is something for me. And long story short, I got a tryout at the performance center and I had never stepped into a wrestling ring before. That was my very first time at the tryout. And it was a three day grueling tryout. And what people don't realize is that, yes, the bumps are hard, but those ropes, they're very tight.

They're very strong. And the moment I knew is when I hit the ropes and I was like, oh, I feel like somebody kind of slipped my back a little bit. And then, you know, but I can't show any pain. I'm like, I'm fine.

I'm fine. Keep going through it. Go back to my hotel room that night, about to take a shower. And I kind of get a glimpse of my back in the mirror. And I was like, holy bleep.

My back was black and blue and red and with blood like it was torn to shreds. And then I remember sending a picture to my family and my mom was like, are you sure you want to do this? And I was like, absolutely. I'm obsessed. Hell yeah. Hell yeah.

Now, speaking of family, you know, I always like to try to get to know our guests a little bit. And you were born in Australia, correct? And then you were born and raised in Hawaii. What was life like for little Nyah growing up?

I mean, I can't complain. We yes, I was born in Sydney, Australia. And then actually it was funny because Dwayne's grandmother, Leah, had her federation in Hawaii. And she had asked the family back in New Zealand, like, hey, I'm going to start this federation.

I need some help. So my dad decided to move us all out to Hawaii when I was a year old. And and then we got out there and the federation didn't really work out. But that's what brought us to the United States. And so I grew up in Hawaii for seven years and then my dad decided that we needed to have more opportunities.

So he wanted to move to the mainland. And then I grew up in Carlsbad, California, which I mean, I can't complain. I've been blessed my whole life.

We were dirt poor, but we were blessed with love. So so then my next question is, tell me what Nyah Jax was like on that hoop court. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. So I grew up with brothers and my older brother was just real tough on me. He's four years older than me. And, you know, when I started to get into sports, I always played with the boys first because my brother and his friends always played. And of course, and the annoying young sister, I wanted to play with them. So I always played basketball with boys.

I played basketball in our rec league with boys all the way up until junior high when, you know, I played for the team, the school team, and I had to play for the girls. I'm not going to lie. I was very physical. I probably say I can't believe it.

Very physical, got the most technical fouls, been ejected a bunch. That's what I'm talking about. I just so to me, because it was nothing like, you know, the boys would push me down and I couldn't cry or else I was kicked out of the game. They'd be like, oh, you're going to go cry home to mom.

And I'm like, no, I'm not crying. And so but I brought that aggression in, you know, with the girls. And so I always had that upper hand, like nobody was going to be tougher than me on that court. And I held my own.

I was pretty darn good. OK, now. All right. So basketball is definitely in there. You watch basketball. You know what? That's one thing I don't do is I am so busy. I don't pay attention to much sports. You know what? I do pay attention sometimes to the women's.

I followed Caitlin Clark and and the girls when they were there on fire. But then I'm not going to lie. We are on the road 300 days a year. I'm in a different time zone every week. Absolutely.

I can only catch like clips here and there, maybe on Twitter or like passing by in the airport. So don't be well. Well, Naya, in my book, you know, where you grew up, I'm just going to just tally you as growing up a Laker.

Now, I knew, yeah, you know, I was glad you said no, Naya. This guy's got to bring up this Laker talk and who got beat by last night by like 30. I'm just going to throw that out there. But anyway, three times, T.J., you can't just be like your Sixers. I got your Clippers to your one for each. You know what I mean?

No coast. I got a team. You got to stick to one. And you do have to stick to one. Why? You kind of do acting up in front of company.

Because here's the thing. Even like I was a Chargers fan growing up, die hard and love my Chargers. They were never that great. I mean, when I was younger, they went to the Super Bowl and totally crapped the bed. But I had to stick by them through thick and thin through as ugly as it got. And you just have to pick one.

You can't just you know, you can't be like you can't be fickle with that. If they suck, they suck. And you got to love them to the end.

It's like family. I think for a while, I love the San Diego Chargers. My favorite football player of all time is with Danny and Tomlinson.

Philip Rivers is the Goodest quarterback of all time because he's not great, but he's really good. Really good. But besides that, I heard you talk about your brothers and I saw in an interview you spoke about. It was your brothers at WrestleMania front row. They thought you were going to lose and you pulled out the victory.

Got your first title. Talk to us about how good of a feeling you had to be able to celebrate that with your family, what it meant to you. And then the second part of that is what is it like taking that title home that first night? Well, I'll tell you this. So my brother's always like, you always lose.

So we didn't expect you to win. So I knew like in my head, I was like, OK, I'm not telling them because I want their genuine reactions to this. It was something so beautiful because I only saw it in the playback. There is a clip of me pinning Alexa Bliss and my brother's just kind of standing there. But then once the ref hit one, two, three and the bell rang, they nobody knew it. But my older brother, he had broken his back on the job.

And so she had to be very careful with what he did physically. And you watch the you watch the clip and he's jumping up and down like a child. So happy. And it was a beautiful moment. And like watching that clip back is like, gosh, this you know, we get to do some cool, cool crap in this job. But like those kind of moments, like nobody can touch and it's like the best feeling. But being able to take that title home and, you know, from where I came from, we never expected it.

This kind of thing, like I don't consider myself anybody cool, but my family does. And so being able to bring that home and having them be so proud and like loving on me, it was it was great. And I could I could only imagine we spoke to the great Mark Henry, who, you know, he had to wait 15 years to get his title.

And, you know, he just he spoke about how he he wished he could have shared it with his mom and his grandmother. So, I mean, just to see your family be so happy front row, it's got to be the best feeling. And we love that for you. But you are a two time champion. So I got to ask, you like the red design or the gold design better? I like so right now they have the so the the one on Raw right now that Rhea is carrying is that gold design. The big gold. I'm talking about the gold back on the back of the WWE.

That's my favorite. I prefer the WWE. I prefer the big old W not only for WWE, but women.

Hello. I like the W. I prefer that. But that's me. And just because I've held that one and I've held it so well and she looks so pretty on me and I don't want to get into how I lost it. Still hurts my feelings.

It's alright. We saw. But the W is my favorite. What do you think?

What do you guys like? You see, I when it was like how Raw had the red background on the W and then Smackdown had the blue background on the W. It made you know, I got so used to that mentally that when the switch happened where like now the W one has gold behind it, it took me a minute. But yeah, it just looks too crispy. Like it's a nice looking belt. Yeah, it is. Lord knows I'm on the WWE shop all the damn time. I mean, he ain't lying every time he comes in the studio, he's got a different belt with him. I mean, it must be nice to have that much disposable income.

Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company and Affiliates, Northbrook, Illinois. Well, Nye, let's bring this up. You know, Jim Ross is famous for saying wrestling ain't ballet, right? What you what you men and women, you go out there and do you put your body on the line and, you know, split seconds.

Inches are the difference between something that could happen and something bad. You obviously there was a moment back in 2018 where you hit Becky Lynch, right? And I look, I remember watching that and at that moment when she was sitting there bleeding, I'd literally went on Twitter and said that just made her a super duper star. And I truly believe that without that happening, the man does not rise to the heights that she got to as great of a performer as she was. It was just something about that moment of that that that Crimson Mask.

What are your thoughts or your memories of that day and that just unfortunate moment that actually kind of worked out to her favor? Well, so it's so let me just go back to the moment we were coming off of a tour. We're going into Survivor Series. I just remember one of the producers saying, hey, we need to sell this. Go out there and say sorry later.

We'll just say that. So I'm in the ring and of course, being the biggest girl, I feel like I'm the biggest target. You know, like everybody wanted to come for me and that was fine. I just remember getting like whacked in the back of my head, like getting nailed. And I'm thinking like, oh my gosh, at first I turn around and it was Lana and I kept shoving her off and shoving her off. And like and then I got in the I got in the corner with Naomi and we're going at it.

You know, I love beating her ass. And and then all of a sudden I'm I'm getting these frickin nails in the back of my head again. And I just remember turning around being like, this bitch better stop hitting me in the back of my damn skull. So I just turn around and I throw my hand, swear my fist wasn't closed. I'm going to change.

OK, this is a jury. My fist was not clear. OK, because close fits are illegal now. You know that I know it was it was an open fist. It wasn't fully closed. I didn't clench. You see how good that is?

I'm saying that right there looks frightening to me. That's sharp. That's sharp.

The knuckles is kind of OK. Thank you. So I just kind of wanted to push her off of me, whoever it was. I went to just get off of me. And my it happened to be Becky, my my big middle knuckle crossed the bridge of her nose. And I remember hearing and and then she went down and I kept I went back to what I was doing because, you know, there were some other things that had to happen and I didn't think anything of it in the moment. And then I remember going to the ground because we all had to get to the ground somehow and just seeing the blood coming out of her face. And I was like, I think I did that. I was like, I think I think that was me. And it was like like the air came out of my lungs.

I was like, oh, man, you know, in the moment it's like it was like, bitch, get off of me. Yeah, like we're going. And if you really want to brawl, let's be real. You don't want to brawl with an angry Samoan.

No, I know. I'm just going to say that you don't want to brawl with an angry Samoan. You don't want to keep poking the tiger. And the tiger was poked. And that's what happened in the moment. Now, do I think it catapulted her to a next level? Yes, she looked like a straight badass continuing on getting in that with Rhonda and walking out of that in the audience with that awesome shot of her bleeding. Hands down to her. But I do think it is a combination of Becky being incredibly talented, the shot of her with, you know, the blood on her face, being able to complete what happened even after being knocked out. You know, I give her all the props in the world for what happened. But don't fuck with a crazy Samoan. I mean, don't mess with an angry Samoan. Sorry, bleep it.

No, it's there. We said it. We love that. We love that. Yeah, I just I just remember in that moment, I was like, wow, that that just took this up another level in another level by far.

Now, being, you know, in the wrestling family that you are cousins with The Rock, you know, it might be the easy question would be to ask you, you know, what advice has he given you? But here at no contest, we like to go a little deeper, you know, a little bit like archaeologists on the dig. You know what I mean?

Let's go. Yeah. So whether it be somebody who inspired you, somebody who kept you motivated, somebody who had your back, looked out for you. Tell us, give us someone or multitude of people that you feel like you wouldn't be the Naya we know without them. In wrestling?

Yeah. So I'm going to say first off, it's going to be Tamina. Tamina Snuka.

Nobody. She doesn't get the the, you know, flowers she deserves. But that woman backstage is a pillar, a rock to so many of us. And, you know, she is we call her mama bear because she is a true mama bear. She's kept me up when I need to stay up positive when I was trying to be negative.

You know, hydrated when I was hungover. My I call her my sister because she's truly a sister and she's she has kept me on the up and up. Even when I wasn't in the company for a little bit, she was there for me. And when nobody else was Charlotte Flair, another, you know, she's she's helped me a lot with just like she's a fitness guru. And when I was going through my fitness journey, she was there for me. And Naomi, Naomi is got a heart of gold. I swear, like she's a gem, like a diamond in the rough that, you know, people don't realize, like, oh, I just I put her on such a pedestal.

Man, I could list off. I have Bailey, Ray Mysterio, Randy Orton. Seamus is a good, solid buddy of mine.

Drew McIntyre. So Roman, like there's so many people, like especially backstage, like we are like you you see us perform out there, but we're a family back there. And, you know, we're with each other so many days out of the year that we have to be supportive because at the end of the day, we're with we're 90 percent of the time. You know, we're traveling and we're we're in hotels and airplanes and cars and like we have to have each other's back. So there's there's a lot of people that give it. But, you know, and then like even out of wrestling.

But technically in my Auntie Atta, who's always supporting and telling me, oh, I love this. This gear is great. And this look and you look fierce here. She's like, use this line more. This is a very good line for you. So, you know, I have support in all in all aspects of this in this wrestling business and I'm very blessed.

That's beautiful. It's great to hear as a fan. But I heard you mentioned Randy and Ray. I know at the same time you were like, I know because I need to know I need to know about that moment. It wasn't accidental that those were the two you named.

They clocked me so hard in that rumble. I know. And listen, listen, you know, time has passed and that wound still hasn't fully healed for me. But she's saying there's some get back could come night.

Is that what you're saying? I wish. I hope.

I hope there is. I get it. I I need it. I deserve it. Those guys did me so dirty in that rumble. I was just I was just told you you should have blocked the hell out of Randy.

That was pretty good. You know what? And Randy, Randy knew in the moment. He's like, damn, I am like, that's right.

Frigging to come at me, Randy. Those guys are there. Those are good ass people. I can't deny that. Now, you know, they beat my ass in the rumble. You brought this up. So I kind of want to ask about this. Surprisingly, back in November two thousand twenty one, you were released from the company.

Like I said, it was a shock to to all of us. Major return a few years later. But how did you regroup after that? Like, what did you do to like kind of keep your your mind right? And just kind of did you focus on yourself?

Like, what did you do in that time? So, you know, I'm not going to lie, I crumbled a little bit. I was sad.

I ate a lot of food to comfort my sadness. You know, I, I hung out with family and friends, but I realized that I needed to work on myself. Like, like I lost who I was like, you know, I got caught up in the business. I got caught up in dumb stuff that sometimes you do get caught up in this business like winning and losing and bookings and whatever. Instead of realizing, like, what a blessing it is to be in the position that I was and remembering who I am and where I came from.

I remember Nikki Bella reaching out and saying, because I told the Bella twins at the time, or Garcia twins, I apologize. That I was having a hard time. And they reached out with a life coach that they used.

Her name was Carrie. And I remember just having these really great sessions with Carrie and, and really diving into myself again. And figuring out, like, what makes me me and what made me happy again, because I was losing my happy.

And that, you know, I do, I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that I was released to be able to get back to who I was and what I needed to do. I got back into my faith. You know, I gave myself to Jesus Christ and I got back to church. And just realizing that, like, I needed to, to still be true to who I am and just continue to enjoy the blessings that kept coming. And when I was able to come back at the rumble, you know, at the beginning of 2023, I was, I took that as another blessing. Like, hey, this is another opportunity for me to try and see if I can do this again. And I think that the time off really helped me get back to myself, which made me even better in the wrestling ring.

So what would you say has been the biggest difference in this run as opposed to your previous stint? I think I just don't give a shit anymore. I think I'm just caught up in making, you know, I don't care. You know, if I have to go out there in a clown suit and twerk in front of 50,000 people, I'm going to make that the best clown suit twerking session anybody's ever seen.

You know, like I don't give a shit about like what people think and how it's going to come off. I'm going to go out there and give it the best I can. I'm going to go have fun. I'm going to make sure that match is incredible. I'm going to make sure my promos are incredible, at least to the best of my ability. And I'm going to make the best of everything I can. And so I think before I was just a little, you know, hesitant and second guessing myself. And now I don't second guess myself. I'm confident in who I am and what I bring to the table. And it's funny just going that O'Shea. And I know you've seen some of the clips of you at house shows reading fan signs, like some of the stuff that you say. I'm like, yo, she is on one out there. I try to explain to people who, you know, my friends who aren't into wrestling yet. I'm drawing a lot of them in now, especially with this. How much fun a house show is.

Yes. And it seems like you guys, you do you have the most fun at house shows. And you in particular, like I said, we've seen the videos of you reading signs and kind of giving it back to the people. How much fun is it for you for you performers to be on a house show as opposed to being on TV? Well, on TV, we have to hit, you know, certain angles, certain times.

We got commercial breaks, you know, like you can't go over on a house show. It's like a special treat for the fans. You know, it's a it's almost a one on one with them.

They get to see us. You know, I'm interacting whether they're popping popcorn in my mouth or I'm swigging somebody's beer. One time they catch that by Cody Rhodes. Mom like poured water on me.

I was like, I'm so thirsty. Or I'm grabbing the mic and I'm cutting a promo on somebody carrying a sign that says Nia Jax sucks. Like, it's totally fine.

And I welcome it. But this is you know, it's just something special that, you know, you don't get when you watch it on TV. You got to show up to a live event. You never know what's going to happen. You don't know who's going to twerk in my face.

You don't know what kind of butt cheeks you're going to see. That's what the live events are for. They're there to entertain the fans so that they you know, they get a little something special that they wouldn't get if you're watching TV. So that's something just to add on to that, because why I'm such a fan of you is the same reason why I really became a fan of Roman. Once he took on the tribal chief thing is the shit talking. You are so good at crowd work and shit talking.

And even in the in the Thunderdome, when we were able to really hear every, you know, you just go off. So I want to know of like all the superstars you've teamed up with or gone against. Who do you have the most fun with? Who do I have the most fun with?

Oh, man, that's so hard because everybody is like it's a different personality in there. And and I'm not saying this to sound cocky, but I think when they get in there with me, they don't realize what they're going to do, because like I will just throw them like like a wrench and they'll be like, oh, shit, like, you know, I love getting in the ring with Pam. Sorry, Bailey.

Sure. And I have so much fun. We're always talking crap in there and nobody ever realizes it. Naomi's another one.

You know, we have we have some some good times. Man, even Oscar. I have a blast with Oscar. That girl, she will she will beat the shit out of me. She will literally hit me with some haymakers that I'm like, dang.

But I love it. She is she's one of the best wrestlers in the world. And I love getting in the ring with her. But yeah, those are you know, I enjoy getting a three or two. I don't know if anybody can tell by the way we wrestle. But right. By the way, your last your last what? Twitter, Instagram exchange with Rhea were the one picture.

And then you were like, oh, is this you? And you guys are wilding out out there, man. You'd love to see it. You know, we have ourselves a good time. Well, if you thought that question was hard and I am, I have to hit you with our most popular question here at NCW.

And it's a scenario based question. You're out with the girls getting mimosas. Living life, chilling. Yeah. And there's 50 ladies in the building that don't want you there. I need you in the irresistible force.

I need you to pick a team of you and four other ladies to make sure you get into the car. Oh, that we scrapping, right? Oh, yeah. Yeah. OK.

Right. Hey, I have no problem with that. OK, I'm going to ask about I'm going to pick Tamina, like hands down. Nobody realizes she can scrap like nobody's business. I got Rhea, Rhea Ripley.

Like one hundred percent. My girl's going to come through. Who else do I got? I want to say, you know, it's so funny, though, like people are Tiffany Stratton. Yeah. She hasn't shown the side to anybody. But trust me, that girl's got that girl's got some she's strong and she's got a she's got a hot streak. That girl, when she's fired up and ready to rock, you don't want to you don't want to come across her. So that's OK. You, Tamina, Rhea, Rhea, Tiffany Stratton.

Yeah. Trust me, like one day people are going to see and then Shayna Baszler. OK. Oh, my God.

No, no, no. That girl like I've seen her. I've watched her be grown men like before a show, just made them like tap out and like roll over. And she's she literally I think I would if I needed just one person, it would be Shayna Baszler.

I have no problem with that. The very first person we asked this this question to in our very first episode was CM Punk. And he gave his bar fight crew and Shayna Baszler was on this. He picked Shayna.

Yeah. Like like I said, she's the best. I don't even know why she wasn't my I mean, of course, she's my number one.

But like if I needed just one, it would be Shayna. I wouldn't have to worry about it. I'd get out of there scot free. We know another big part about wrestling. You said it before. You're on the road 300 days out of the year. So being on on the road traveling is such a huge part of what you men and women do. So let us know who are your favorite travel partners?

Who are the people who because being on the road driving hundreds of miles is probably not fun all the time. But who are the people that at least make it fun for you? Shayna Baszler. She's she's so much fun. She's somebody who's like she's a super big foodie, so she always finds us the best places to eat. And then she's always keeping me entertained with like she only eats stew on Mondays.

That's all I ever see her. That's all she does is eat stew. Another freaking stew. Another freaking stew.

But she does. She's she's she finds like all these amazing places because her her thing and my thing are burgers. Like I'm a red meat.

Yeah. So she always has to find me a good burger or like she knows I'll be in a bad mood. I'm like, you better get me a good burger or else I'll be cranking the rest of this trip. Shane is one of my favorite. And then Alexa Bliss, when we first got on the road, we used to travel all the time.

We just had like karaoke parties in the car. And obviously I'm the best singer ever. So I'm looking at you. Right. Of course. Yeah, obviously. Recently, I've been traveling with little Tiffy before she betrayed me.

It's fine. But now traveling with Tiffany's cute, though, like she's you know, it's a different like I'm I'm the veteran. I got to take my my little bird under my wing. So I got to make sure she's like on time for things, waking up, getting a routine. But she's she's quite hilarious.

And one day, you know, when I when I feel as though work, OK, again, hopefully one day you get to see how she's quite funny, like she's a funny, funny human being. All right. So off of that, I got to I got to piggyback two questions. One best burger that you found on the road.

And then to your go to karaoke song. So great questions, TJ. Those are great. So you're going to have to ask Shana where we got this burger from. It was somewhere in Georgia and it was one with like it was like a waffle with an egg and bacon. And it was covered in syrup. Dude, I'm getting hungry just talking about it. It literally melted in my mouth. Like when I was done with it, I was like, where's the rest of it? It was so it was delicious.

Sorry. I love food. And my my best karaoke is Whitney Houston. I want to dance with somebody. Oh, yeah.

That's a fun song right there. I mean, Whitney, you cannot like I don't want to get in an argument. She's one of the best vocals that I've ever known. I don't think that's an argument for anyone. No one's going to tell you that Whitney Houston isn't one of the greatest singers of all time. And if they do, that's not the person you want to waste your time arguing with. Like that's very true to dismiss them.

But yeah, Whitney Houston, pretty much any song. But I want to dance with somebody. Let's talk live. Good people. We all take supplements or at least we know we should. But why are so many supplement companies charging ridiculous prices for products that really aren't that special?

Now you mentioned Alexa Bliss, so I have to ask a question on my behalf, but I know you're a good person. I've seen you in interviews. Your heart is big.

So I want you to tell the truth. Is it not weird to have a pig as a pet in the house? That's just it just seems just so unorthodox for me. I just that's just seems crazy. Before you answer this, I'm going to say this comes from a cat who's got a turtle as a pet. All right. And not a little cool little joints.

I'm talking about 150 pounds on three, four people got to carry like Braun Strowman would have to put his back into it to carry this type of turtle. That's all I'm saying. That's asking you a turtle. His name's Larry. OK, so.

Exactly, exactly, exactly. Larry, Steve, I know what his name's Larry. He's a 15 year old jerk and you know, he will live well past me.

My daughter and my nephew will have to deal with them. But yeah, he's a he's just a grumpy dinosaur. But a pig seems like a lot of maintenance. Well, so Larry, Steve, I'll tell you this. Larry, Steve did not like living in a house.

And Lexi can argue me with that. But he whenever I went over that house, he was always so grumpy. He wanted to be outside. He wanted to. What does it when they like they're grouting or something in the dirt?

Really? Yeah, I I have a pig on my farm, Fiona. She loves she's ugly as you'll ever see. But we call her pretty because she's the ugliest pretty girl you've ever seen. But she loves to be she loves to be in the dirt. She loves to roll around.

She loves to dig. And Larry C was grumpy as heck because he just wanted to be outside, even though he was spoiled rotten. And Lexi loved him to death.

But yeah, he it was definitely different. I tried feeding him bacon to see what he would do. And Lexi almost bit my head. No, no, you did not. You tried to feed the pig bacon. I was just curious. It's like cannibalism. You're the best heel in the business.

I don't think you can. I mean, bacon's delicious. Don't get a twist that loves me some bacon. That's what I'm saying. That could have been his mom's. That could have been his mom's. His grandma's. You know, who knows?

I just was curious. By the way, O'Shea, the flex there on Naya when she went, no, I have a pig on my farm. And, you know, on my farm, you know, I'm saying on my farm. Yes. Let me throw her in there.

Ahoy, boy. I have a farm. Casual. Tell me about the farm. What's up with the farm? Well, technically it's a ranch right now because this is me learning things. Unless you are built like growing a crop, crops are farms. And if you're raising animals, they're ranches. Oh, the more you know. Just so you know.

Yes. And so technically right now I have a ranch. And so I have cattle and I have a llama that I adopted. I have a couple goats. I have Fiona and I have a bunch of chickens.

And so, yeah, you have a lot now. A friend of mine, a llama. Yeah. Carl.

Mamas are hard. That's a great name. No, Carl's great. Actually, Carl's super sweet. People are afraid that he's going to spit because that's what they do.

But no, he's not. He'll let you pet him. My two year old little nephew, he was afraid of the chickens. But him and Carl were like, it's spot on. And Carl was really sweet to him. Actually, I said my friend had a llama.

She actually has an alpaca and his name is Tupac. So that's good. Yes.

What you got? All right. I got another one of our favorite questions around here because you were actually a wrestling fan.

And I mean, it's in your family. I need to know as a fan. When was the first time wrestling broke your heart? Oh, man. As a fan and I think everybody's pretty much this is it. It's the Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair match. Oh, that's a good one.

Yeah. It brought me to literally like tears that I love you. Just watching Rick in his. Oh, I can't even I think about it in my stomach kind of like gets hurt like that one broke my heart. And it's not even in a bad way, just a beautiful way.

It was a beautiful moment. And that that one is top number one. Yeah. Oh, that's a good that's the first time we heard that.

I think a lot of people agree with that. So now let me ask you this. I always have this question. You familiar with Back to the Future? Yes, a little bit. OK, so, you know, Doc Brown had a DeLorean, which was a time machine right now.

I don't know if you knew this. The DeLorean is up and running. So what I want to do is I want to put you in the DeLorean. Right. I want to have you travel back in time. And I want you to pick five wrestlers to have a WrestleMania main event with five men or women throughout the history.

That you think you could have put on a classic with a WrestleMania. Tim, you guys come up with these questions. That's right. NCW.

That's what we do. OK, my I was a big fan of him. Bam Bam Bigelow. When I was a kid and I was convinced WrestleMania for the Bam Bam Bigelow was going to win the WWF title in that tournament that Macho Man obviously won.

But for the first few weeks, they announced it. I was like, Bam Bam's winning this. He was just he honestly like he was such a unicorn in wrestling. Like he was so big, but he's so agile and so quick.

And I love watching his stuff. So Bam Bam Bigelow for sure. I would pick China, obviously. Of course. Yeah.

China. Who else? Oh, my gosh. This is like the pressure that you guys are putting on me. I mean, look, you can change the answer the next time you come on. So there's no real pressure. I know. Right.

Are you coming back? I love it. OK, so I'm going to say so-called Steve Austin. And then a big boss, man. I love me the big people. My big people.

I feel you. OK. Oh, who's my number five? Can I throw just a random name out for you?

I would love it. Awesome Kong. Awesome Kong. Yeah. I mean, you want to talk about the irresistible force, the immovable object. You, too, I think would have just you know, they have that saying would feed generations. I feel like that is what that meant.

That was just I threw out there, obviously. No, no. You've been fantasy book.

Oh, my fantasy book all day. One hundred percent. She was she was incredible. Her aura was next level. Like, I just feel like the potential of awesome. Kong was insane.

I don't think we even saw a glimpse of it. She was incredible. I loved her. Her videos. Do you remember the Barbies like snapping the head?

OK, then awesome. We'll put her in there. I like that in the elimination chamber. OK, there's a moment where you just like rush through that glass. I need to know the mindset before you go in to do something like that in your lifeless body with some of the hardest laughs I've gotten in a long time.

So please talk about you crashing through that glass wall. So I just feel as though, like, I don't know if you I have no fear in certain situations or I have all fear, if that makes any sense. Like certain times I'm like, oh, I can't do this. Like right before I'm like, I don't think I could do this.

I might be able to do it. And then and then when you're in the moment, you're like, fuck it, whatever. It'll be a good story if it doesn't work.

Let's go. And so I was like, I had I had to break it. I had to make sure that thing broke. And my big ass was like, fuck it, here we go. And so not almost knocking myself clear out. I think I was like thinking the ring was on the other side because I would have clear.

I feel like I would have gone through all the way out to the other side. But I was like, you know what, we're just going to do it and see what happens. And I did. And I did it. And I'm you know, I people it was like a meme for a while and I kept like get freaking A. But you know, I did it. And I had no in the moment I was like, we're just going to do it. We're going to see what happens. And fuck it. I'm a break. That's that's what we love about you.

That's the entertainment right there. All right. Nice. Another one.

Well, you know, we got to do it. O'Shea, I want to let you know that because you've been here with us, we are inducting you into the No Contest Wrestling Podcast Hall of Fame. Congratulations. Congratulations.

Yes, you are. You are a famer in our eyes. So, you know, so next to your your bust of your face that that resides in the Hall of Fame, there's going to be a monitor. And on a continual loop, there's going to be a quintessential Nia Jax match. What match would you want played so that people from here to the end of time who come visit will see this match and be like, oh, she was bad. I want the one where I go and I demolish all the guys in the rumble.

I want that to be on play. But before I get super kicked, RKO'd and 619, I want it before that part. Well, I think that just tells me it took three dudes to get you out of the Royal Rumble.

That's that's what that says. I want to make sure you see the part where I'm beating the crap out of our truth, though. That has to be like in that I'm like literally beating the shit out of him.

We'll have to put it together to your to your to your liking, for sure. We got to get truth on the show. Truth is so funny. I feel bad I didn't say truth, but truth is another one that's backstage that like that guy makes the best out of anything. He's always got such a great attitude. He's the funniest person you'll ever meet. Like and for the fact that he's 50 years old and he looks like he's 25 and he can still wrestle that way. You're just like you're who are you?

Where did you come from? I mean, I made an argument once that our truth may be the greatest sports entertainer of all time, based upon what he's made work with what he's been given to do. It's truly incredible. You know what? I agree with you. I will agree with you. He's incredible.

I love our truth. Yeah. Just make sure you get the loop of me beating the crap out of him. We'll make it OK. Yeah.

Anything else, O'Shea? Man, dude. No, this was this has been one of our funnest interviews. Your energy is crazy. Thank you so much for giving us the time of day.

Appreciate you so much. And also, we will be in the building for that rumble. Yes, ma'am. Yes, we will see you there. We will see. I can't wait. Looking forward to cheering you on. Thank you so much for, like I said, giving us the time of day.

You're amazing. You're always welcome as a Hall of Famer. Maybe I'll bring it out of pocket.

Oh, say maybe I'll bring it out of out of pocket sign for her to read that so she can just tear it up and, you know, say something funny about it. Oh, man, don't give me a microphone. Don't give me a live mic sometimes.

I don't know what's going to come out of my mouth. They call it live event, Naya, where I like blackout and I don't know what I'm going to say or what I'm going to do. Well, we we just gave you a live mic and you did pretty well. You did great, guys. Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate you guys. And I can't wait to see you at the rumble priest day. The honors all.

Absolutely. Hey, how do we do? How do we do?

You know, first go around doing it. Yeah, we're always up for some criticism or things we can do better. You know, I loved it. You guys are both. I love the fact that you you knew. I mean, obviously you're fans, but you already knew everything about me. So you made me feel super comfortable. I didn't have to feel like I was trying to introduce myself and, you know, like get you to like me sort of thing.

Because sometimes I get that in interviews where I'm like, do you even know who I am? But you guys made me feel like just at home and that we've been friends for so long. So we have been friends.

You just didn't know it for a while. I'm OK with that. I'm OK with that. But you guys are great. Seriously, this was this was awesome experience for me. I was a little nervous myself, but this is this is cool. Thank you.

Make sure you tell all your friends that they have a home. And see, I will. Yes, you're welcome. Any time. Have a great day, Naya. Appreciate you. Thank you.

You guys, too, bro. How cool is Naya, bro? Yeah, she's she's pretty dope, man. She's pretty. How chill can you be?

Right. You know, because on TV, you know, she can play this big, imposing, physical, scary, you know, character. But, you know, as we found out, you know, she's chill, man.

Super chill, man. And remember, remember, I just want everybody knows she follow us on all our socials. That's there's no contest on Twitter, no contest wrestling podcast. I know it's long, but hey, that's her name on Instagram.

You can follow us on the Rich Eisen Show YouTube page. And of course, you can have O'Shea on his social sites and T.J. Jefferson on Instagram and 2G on Twitter as well. Absolutely. We want to thank Naya Jacks. And also, just to remind you guys, we are being brought out to Indianapolis by WWE. And we are going to be checking out and, you know, giving big ups to the new video game, WWE 2K25. I didn't realize how soon that comes out.

Now I have to listen when you really play 2K, bro. I got like creative wrestlers. I got like my stages and my belts. And now, like, I just got it to the point where, like, I'm happy with everything. And now the new one is out.

So, like, I got a man. It's a lot of it's a lot of custom superstars that I'm a need the creation people to get on quickly. But we will be out there in Indianapolis checking out 2K25. Yeah, that's going to be awesome. Very excited. You know, we can't give y'all the full deets, but it's it's going to be quite the event. Just found out our boy Obafemi is in the Royal Rumble. Shinsuke isn't going to be in the Royal Rumble.

We didn't also talk about low key. Bailey wants to go up against Julia for the NXT championship. I'm excited to see that down the road. By the way, is Bailey Mrs. NXT?

We'll talk about that another day. But let's talk about the rumble, man. What are some of the things you're looking forward to? Who who are who are your predictions for this match?

If I had to say one thing that we always know, there's always going to be like a big return, right? Someone's going to come out of nowhere and just be like, yo, give me like one or two people you think could make a little appearance at this rumble. Well, I wouldn't be surprised if the final boss just got bored and when you wanted to jump in there, he could do whatever he want right now. I know personally when it comes to picks, I know the best feel good story would probably be especially after what he did at Saturday night's main event. It would be Jay with it because nobody's I don't see anybody really hammering for him.

There's no it would kind of be like, oh, yeah, beautiful feeling moment that that stadium would go crazy. But you know who I want to win. And that's my boy. My boy Phil Brooks, bro. See a punk, bro.

See a punk. He need that, bro. He need that, right? Roman. I think Roman Roman will be able to get his spot in the chamber. But see, I'm punk is my boy and I need him to get this WrestleMania main event monkey off his back.

So I'm all for my dog, man. I like that. I like that. You know, speaking of surprises, there's, you know, WWE and TNA, you know, they've got their their partnership now. So I'm just going to throw one name out there. Of course, everyone's talking about Jordan Grace. She's now signed with WWE. She's claiming that she's going home on that day to throw her mom a 50th birthday party. I said, Jordan, no, we ain't buying it.

You know, I think moms can put her birthday party off for the next week. But here's a name I'm just throwing out there from TNA. Moose.

Wow. I'd be hyped if I heard Moose's music hit and he came out. But, you know, I'm sure Joe Hendry will be a part of it. I think that's pretty obvious, right? That's that's the low hanging fruit. But I'm just going to say I'm going to throw Moose out there for the men and and for the women.

You know, that that's a tough one. Yeah, the women. I want to see, obviously, because she's my second favorite woman's wrestler of all time. I want to see Mickie James pop back out in the rumble.

That would make me happy personally. But, man, they're just there's so many. And that's that's what's cool about this, right? Because you just don't know that clock's ticking down. You never know what kind of moment you're going to get. Are you going to get the moment when Matt Stryker lost it? When Booker T came out, you're going to get the moment where the entire world lost it. With Ed, where Ed came out the day Kobe passed.

Who knows? There's just so many names that could pop up. And this is going to be exciting, bro. It really is.

Yeah. I mean, for the women's side, in my opinion, obviously you got both Bianca and Naomi being in the rumble at the same time. But how awkward of a moment is it going to be when Bianca and Naomi are in the ring and a storm starts to come over the arena, bro? And then let's let's not forget who's coming home.

She's so nice. It's when once in a lifetime happened twice. Charlotte Flair is coming back in the rumble, bro. Let's recognize our step aside. So I think my prediction, I'm going to go, I think it's going to be Charlotte or I think Becky's is probably going to pop back to the thing. O'Shea is it's WrestleMania, right?

So we all have our favorites, but you have to be honest with yourself. This is WrestleMania. This is a chance to main event.

You've got to be a star already. Like the rest of the year is for making stars, in my opinion, when it comes to this, they want star power to draw those casual fans. And so that's why I feel that it'll probably be Charlotte or Becky, kind of like I said, kind of easy, but whatever. And look, I want to see living color play CM Punk to the ring one more time in WrestleMania. And what better place for that than the main event of WrestleMania? So, you know, he helped put us on the map.

I'm going with Punk. Absolutely, bro. You're on the right side of history. I'm telling you, we should be fine. I know a lot of people are worried about John, but they're advertising John for Elimination Chamber. So I'm like, I mean, I just can't ignore that.

You know, it's his last time in Toronto right there. You want to say I can't see it, but then you change your mind and you didn't want to say I can't. Oh, yeah, because I couldn't see it.

You know, you can't see him. Oh, and I saw I saw a stat on on Twitter earlier the last maybe five, six times. The person who the last five, six times that that that Romans been in the rumble. That's fun to say the guy who eliminates Roman has gone on to win the rumble. That tells you keep an eye on that. It tells you you truly are the big dog when that happens. Like, oh, you're giving the rub to someone without even winning this thing. Well, well, great Saturday.

Can't thank you. You can't wait for this weekend. Have fun at work.

You know, he's he's working with Brian Cranston right now. You know, just a couple of G's doing their thing. Chill, bro. Chill, chill. So I appreciate you all tuning in.

This is no contest. We'll see you next week with all the info and all the good stuff from the Royal Rumble and WWE 2K25. Wherever you are. Hope you have a good day.

We'll see you Wednesday. Actor Michael Rosenbaum, you know, some of the most talented people in the business. And now he's getting the inside story.

Let's get inside of Heather Graham. I can't look at like Boogie Nights and think that you are a nerd. Johnny Knoxville. Think you're going to do another Jackass movie? What do your kids want?

Dad's not going to do that. You've got to be careful how you choose your heroes. Hear from some of the most fascinating people in pop culture today. Danny Trejo. You're a legend. Do you know you're a legend? You can't be a legend having this much fun. The Inside of You podcast. Follow and listen on your favorite platform.
