None other than 12-year National Football League veteran Gerald McCoy. Good to see you, Gerald. How are you? Yeah, it's great to be here. Thank you everybody for having me. I love coming here. It's a great ambiance, great vibe. I appreciate that. Everything about this place is wonderful. I appreciate that. The only thing is better is Kurt Warner mentioning what happens when the Vikings face the West.

Yeah, I know. So much success. How about that moment?

Yes, success. That was a great moment yesterday. Incredible. Greatly appreciated being on the set for you. That was a live one.

All right, let's jump in. Obviously, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at three and one are a division leader and there's a lot of significance to their games that are going on right now. What do you make of Baker Mayfield's comments that Tom Brady responded to during the broadcast that Baker said was taken out of context just so everyone understands? He said during the week knowing that Brady was going to be in the booth for Fox on a podcast mentioning that Brady's presence stressed a quote-unquote high-strung environment that he was brought into quote-unquote bring the joy back to football for guys who weren't having as much fun. What did you make of that?

He said those were taken out of context. Yeah, I think so and when I was watching, I was like I heard how quiet it got touring the live broadcast. I said yeah, Brady don't like that and I think he took it as a slight more as there's different ways to lead. Baker's leads differently. Tom has come from a more serious environment and that's kind of how he's always been. That's just how he prepared and I don't think guys didn't have fun with Tom but I think Baker's way of leading is a lot more upbeat, a lot more fun, tell jokes, have handshakes, all of that style and I think some guys may have been intimidated by Tom because when you've been around a guy like for example when Darrelle Reavis walked through our door in 2013, I was intimidated because it was Darrelle Reavis. I was going on, I had already made two provos but or no I had made my first provo but then in comes Darrelle Reavis and it's like well this is a different level of like player here. So you can be intimidated by Darrelle Reavis. Imagine the Tom Brady being there. You don't want to make no mistakes.

You want to be on point at all times. Well, Baker is more like okay I can be a little more relaxed. He's a great leader but Tom is like Tom like you can argue he's the greatest athlete of any sport ever. You know he's in that argument so I think that it was taken more of a slight at Tom of you know it wasn't fun while he was here and I don't think that's what he meant. I'll be honest I mean I was around the team in Munich and Tom's last year there it didn't look like anybody was having fun at all. I mean at all but then they which is why all of us thought well Seattle's gonna go kick their behinds.

They play their best game of the year. Yeah. And so there's there's a certain sensibility you have when there's a goat when it's either the ring or nothing. Yeah. That that might stress people out.

I get it. Well I've heard what it's like being at the Patriots with Coach Belichick but it's really just like they win but it's like it's like this. Isn't that what the Eagles didn't the Eagles talk about during that Super Bowl week that they're having fun having fun and the Patriots are not. Yeah.

Because of that's the environment maybe this is kind of another version of that. It could be I remember my last year at OU we played Stanford and we did for some reason I don't know why they did this we had a a joint dinner where we sat on one side and they said on the other side it was a little small it's like we don't want to see them before the game but they did it. We were in sweats and OU gear just crocs and stuff they came in ties suits and all that we was like laughing like oh we having a blast and y'all so serious we ended up winning the game but it was just like even Richard Sherman he'd tell you we was like man we just everything was so like this and I think it's just different versions of leadership of how the leader goes that's how the team goes. So Richard was dressed in a suit? Yes he was.

Yeah. And you were dressed like sweats and crocs? I was just dressed in a sweat and crocs. Yes I was and we was laughing at him like why are y'all dressed like that this is like a bowl game dinner we was at the Brute Sun Bowl why y'all in suits like what are y'all doing right now? An El Paso dinner? An El Paso dinner yes it was. Man some of the bowl games just let's get all the kids together for dinner.

The Brute Sun Bowl and everybody was like what's brute I'm like trust me don't you don't want it you don't want it you're 18 don't ask for any brute. Joe McCoy here on the Rich Eisen Show. So what did what did you glean from the Bucks-Eagles game because Eagles fans are ready to go you know find the George Washington the Ben Franklin Bridge and jump off it right now what do you think? Well one I think y'all just ran up against a team who was better yes I'm saying that because I believe it but also making adjustments when your top two receivers are not there that's that's tough to deal with. I guess it's not fair when one guy's got Evans and Godwin and you don't have Brown and Smith. Take a deep breath relax it's the September and I always say this the reason how I come up with a lot of my analysis and things I've seen is because I've seen so much I've seen a Denver Broncos tell Peyton Manning it's okay you can go we appreciate I mean Indianapolis Colts tell Peyton Manning you can go and he went to the Broncos that schooled me on this is a true business if you can let Peyton Manning walk and we we prepare for the future then I watched it happen with the Patriots and Tom Brady that schooled my mind on business sense in 20 I can't I can't remember the date 14 15 ish the Atlanta Falcons started five and oh it was like man the Falcons are gonna be and then I think they ended up six at 10 maybe seven and nine or something like that it's a long season you don't really know who's who until about week nine ish so it's time there is time to get back on track so feel the depth of your faithful relax take a deep breath it's okay so then let's let's in that vein still hold your feet to the fire to tell me who's real and who's not right now yeah and I'll I'll throw some teams out and you tell me if they're real or not sure for no Vikings real they legit they did that defense that defense is not I mean if you get played defense of that level and usually when you play defense of that level like when the 49ers are playing at that level or when the Ravens are playing that level you can name me out five six guys you can't just rattle all five six guys on the Vikings defense that's legit defense they are playing where it's selfless defense we play for the team and we're going to go out here and win that defense at the level they're playing how the offense is playing they're playing very good football the Vikings are legit so you think Sam Donald will be an MVP candidate currently he is but I think this can continue because of how to run the ball they're not he's not putting the ball in harm's way and the defense is giving him multiple opportunities so they keep playing this level yeah for sure three and one commanders your NFC East leaders real or not I have to give an either or that's sports talk radio sir oh lord I'm gonna say not why because it's so early I think they're playing great but I don't know if it's sustainable I think they're the best team in the NFC East how does that sound that's not right now if you top to bottom how to play it that is not a lie okay yes right I mean the Cowboys are going to be without two of their best defensive linemen for the next month offensively you're wondering after 88 who who who concerns me how are they going to run the ball you see the Eagles they're banged up because we just disrupt disgust and describe the best team in the NFC East but what I say real I mean like contenders I mean you just say it it's it's crazy man what jayden daniels it is it really is it's incredible to see what he's doing in the preseason I said then he throws one of the best footballs I've seen in a long time like guys are just when they throw the ball it's just like it's got great touch the spin on it it's everything about how he throws the football it's rare to see a guy throw the football that good but the way he's dissecting these defenses and running this team running this team yeah so it's too early to because he's so young right sure and the defense is not not overly great but they're playing well right now so but long run you you won't put your chip on him right now not right now I can't three and one Steelers um Gerald McCoy on the Rich Eisen show tick tock no why I just so I don't believe they have all the necessary pieces to make this sustained and yesterday a uh Joe Flacco just came in and just picked him apart with ease like he just that's what he does I know but it's just like okay so so the defense has been which we said like probably the best unit across any team yes all season and then Joe Flacco comes in it's like what happened that's why I say I can't say that they're real right now because all they did is bring in Joe Flacco the defense is still the defense the offense changes a little bit we got a guy who's passing the ball but the defense is still the defense but Justin Fields I think has definitely sat Russell Wilson for the foreseeable future correction would you not agree I would agree and I before even it has happened I said Justin Fields should be a starter anyway I always felt he should have been even because he gives your offense an opportunity to open the playbook more than what Russ can do right now so let's talk about two and two teams two teams Joe McCoy that you think either has what it takes to keep on going and maybe be significant or not yes okay two and two jets who you said would win the Super Bowl this year guys jets what are y'all doing right now still time for a mulligan on that it's still time yes I still I'm not off the I'm not off the train yet it's still time if you watched the game yesterday yes even in the crunch time there was a lot of passes being thrown and Aaron Rodgers was putting them in spots he's such a vet and what's made him excuse me so cerebral is he reads the defense and he he throws people over I think what's happening is and a big thing that people are not paying attention to is I don't know if y'all seen when uh Ocho like did the report and he gave away kind of the jet signals I think they had to change a lot of those signals and I think they just now on the same page right now a lot of people may not think that's significant but I think it is and I don't think Ocho did on purpose but it's like he's giving away signals that Aaron Rodgers is using and when he's throwing the passes the ball is just it's like who is he throwing to well I mean you saw you were talking about it late in the game he throws one across the middle and a couple of the receivers including Garrett Wilson didn't turn the head it's just all over the place I was watching this intently because I'm you know doing Vikings jets in six days in London and um and there was a a false start of Palooza that caused you know the coach and Robert Salah to say you know maybe we're too heavy on the cadence which we all know is Aaron Rodgers one of his many secret weapons or not so secret weapons and he basically said well maybe we should need to hold people accountable today Robert Salah says they're not touching the cadence there's a lot of things that they can do pre-snap and calling the play to get everybody on the same page better he's not going to say any of that publicly but you're saying it's because Emmanuel Ocho went on television and gave away signals is that what you're saying I'm saying that that could definitely be a thing because when I was watching I'm like why is he giving away these signals because he's saying the signals what happened is James Jones he said I called my buddy James texted him and said what do these signals mean James Jones played for Aaron Rodgers how long ago so now he's saying signals that they used so long ago now he's saying this is the signal for this okay well you don't think a team people watch I know well Sean would definitely pick up on that we have a we had something Vance Joseph was called the KGB so you listen to uh yeah I know I know it sounds crazy yeah but the KGB you listen to TV copies of checks you listen you watch the film to get you find any way to get an edge yes people are watching this stuff so if they're seeing this and this is Ocho he's it's a popular show so if he's posting this people seeing it I know anybody I said the two was like dang why is he giving away the signals why is he so they could have made a lot of changes with signals and they're just now on the same page it's clearly right now it's they're all over the place but I'm not jumping off the you're not jumping off the two and two no I'm not okay two as long as eight is there okay two and two cowboys I'm off I'm off because they got injuries on the defensive side of the ball offensively they don't have enough offense to compete and that's this they just don't sometimes you just don't have enough you got cd I trust cd but then what what happens after that and no I can't and I and I picked the cowboys to win a division but when you're watching them play top to bottom can't stop the run and rich you've been watching this game a long time you know in the in the playoffs you got to be able to stop the run and run the ball and last year they got ran out their own stadium by the Green Bay Packers on the ground Aaron Jones 150 yards three touchdowns they can't stop the run and then offensively where's the offense coming from and then you take your best player on the team on either side of the ball and you he's out for three to four weeks nah nah two and two 49ers yeah yeah I'm not worried about them they got injuries they yeah the 49ers would be okay all right two and two packers yeah I'm off the Packers you are yeah I'm off the Packers I'm off the pack why is it because love didn't look uh well he didn't look good when he was healthy week one he wasn't hurt he didn't look good then and then yesterday although they played the Vikings um he just you know he was he was rusty and with injuries and yeah I'm just I'm off the you're not feeling it okay um I'll give you uh yesterday's falcons saints contest they're both now two and two yeah if you had to choose one of those teams to to stay on which one do you choose saints over the falcons yeah why is that defense defensively having names don't make you a great defense but the falcons don't have any names and they just won a game with no touchdowns from the offense but two from from the defense yeah and and and I agree with that but I just feel like the the saints have more of identity on defense and uh moving forward I just yeah having names is just not enough for me it's just it's just not and I know it's gonna sound crazy okay but I'm more of a believer in Derek Card and Kirk Cousins I just am I've seen him uh and when we talk about fourth quarter comebacks and just leading the team and I like Kirk but I'm just more of a believer in the saints as a whole than I am the falcons okay two and two chargers Gerald McCoy you on him or or or I'm gonna charge it still okay yeah I'm gonna charge the Justin Herbert to figure it out he'll figure it out okay all right how about that last one for you two and two Chicago Bears uh I picked them to win a division so I can't just I can't jump off the train now Caleb is young he is but they have all the pieces necessary and um you know I'm looking at some of the body language it's a little it's all over the place but they won so I'm not off the Bears completely yet because I can't get off the Packers but then get off the Bears too somebody gotta be good in the division well here's the thing about Caleb and I'm seeing him in two Sundays because the NFL network week six Sunday starter from London is Jaguars and and Bears right and the narrative because that's what I deal with more than all 22s yes and narratives I think sometimes are worthy of mentioning and certainly definitely get in I imagine some facilities and buildings the the narrative that I didn't think anybody saw coming and I'm wondering how Caleb Williams handles is the fact that he's 100 soup to nuts everybody's opinion is the second best rookie quarterback because of what Jayden Daniels is doing right Jayden Daniels is the cat's meow right now yeah to use an old phrase right and this kid is a bit on a struggle bus and there may be a lot of reasons why not just him yeah I'm just wondering how that lands with him you know I'm just wondering how that lands with Caleb when he's going about his business does it matter to him does it really matter to him does he act like it doesn't matter to him I'm just wondering how he goes about his business with in a world for the first time right in a very long guy he is not the guy yeah I think that last year he kind of dealt with I guess in a way with the usc yeah but he also won the Heisman but so now that's two years in a row well he also said that when he was at OU he felt like he should have been the starter it should have been the guy but with Spencer Rattler was the starting quarterback yes he said I felt like I was better than him I should have been the starter well he was right yeah he was but he conducted himself properly and then when he got in the game he showed what he can do I feel like this is when we'll see who Caleb Williams is he's been I honestly think he's been getting scrutinized since last year like you said at USC with how he was handling losses and things of that sort and he steals the number one pick it's a long season that's what I think a lot of people don't understand it is a long season now with the packers let me just say about the packers I am a firm firm believer in Matt LaFleur he somehow finds a way but I'm just gauging the football I'm seeing right now but Matt LaFleur I love him as a coach but you're off the Packers or you want to keep your finger on that chess piece after all what do you think oh I had to make it I couldn't I couldn't ride the fence so I just had to go off yeah we can't do that here right no we can't do that how dare you even consider it's not allowed um so I guess last one for you then chief's the best team in the AFC they're 4-0 we saw again yesterday they just found a way to win I don't care how I don't care how it looks I don't care how it looks find a way to win and that's what they're doing can you help me understand or have the fans who are listening and watching us right now Gerald McCoy understand how that is a difference maker an ability of a team to finish yeah and why it's difficult to find players who know how to finish right I mean because that's the difference very difficult because I was on a lot of Bucks teams where a lot of people would consider my time the Bucks one of the worst errors of the Bucks of Bucks football we were records were always bad people made fun of us you know we just wasn't a sight to see but if you go back and watch those games we were in all of those games very very close games and I had a conversation with Lavonte David after they beat Detroit in Detroit this year and I said I wish I could have felt what you're feeling right now he said gee this feeling right here is what we missed all those years and the feeling is being on the right end of those very tight close games and that's what Tom Brady was for a long time that's what Kansas City is right now they're on the winning side of those very very close games and with those teams I was with the Bucks we were just on the wrong end of it because we didn't know how to finish championship mindset being coached the right way knowing what's necessary Greg Schiano did a lot of wrong but he was a Bucks coach but one thing he did teach us is that crunch time is technique time and technique takes you way further than athleticism way further than just being explosive about technique we're doing things the right way like Bill Belichick DYJ do your job and that's what winning teams do and that's what Kansas City is doing right now they're champions for a reason in crunch time they're doing the right things necessary to win I don't care how bad it looks I don't care if this ain't the best passion for homes we've seen say whatever about Travis Kelce the end of that game what happened Chris Jones came alive and they found a way to win they you just find a way to win and that's what the it's not always this team has to just blow everybody out and that's the clear-cut favorite team no find a way to win that's what Kansas City is doing snap to snap quarter to quarter figure it out and and the the technique part of it right it just in crunch time don't lose I guess if you drill down on footwork and you drill down on the sensibilities that technique brings you thus you're going to get your best play is that what it is and such why sometimes happy feet out of quarterbacks will blow it if you're you're you're you're opening yourself up as a cornerback giving an indication to a receiver or vice versa that's the sort of stuff yeah so if we've ran a power play over and over and we've ran it this way over and over don't get in crunch time and try it like I gotta go make I gotta go do no you don't no you don't you don't have to do that if you supposed to pull and get this guy pull and get this guy if we're on defense and you know you got the b-gap don't try and swim this guy because it's crush time I gotta go make a play now you went to try and make a play and then somebody's out they gap and boom they got a first day our game over stay in the b-gap stay in the c-gap if it's a power play whatever we run it's going to be a power play whatever we run it do your job and that's it we don't need you to do anything outside your job is your job do that what happens is in this league they call it a game of interest for a reason because one minor step to the left and you know you had to be having a we call the ability alignment you get where you need to be to do your job one ounce of you know what let me move over here because I seen this and I want to and then they do something completely different than playing for well we had you where you supposed to be why would you do something different and the best teams do what's necessary technique time when it's crunch time and that's what Kansas City's doing that's what they did last year all playoffs Joe you're the man thank you so much I appreciate you coming in here and chopping it up what uh else are you up to you want to pop promote here before perform you don't really truly understand now that I'm on that side of it I watch you in a study and the the you you have instincts it's like certain instincts that a quarterback may have or defensive lineman or whatever it is those instincts you have time in all of it is I've watched you sit and scroll and then everybody reach you up and then boom it's like he turns it on and I'm like how the heck did he do that and how did he bring pull that from here and it yeah and phenomenal what you do Rich and I enjoy working with you and learning from you so that's my kind enough to say that I'm just trying to make it a stress-free environment yes and you know maybe we need to we need to bring somebody else here so not so stressed rich dang it I'm stressed every day no it's okay that's all right or more touchdown passes in each of the wins the list of players in the Super Bowl era to do that is just him that's it only guy to do that two touchdowns for Jordan Addison Justin Jefferson isn't going off like 200 yard games he's just getting you know 100 here 80 there touchdown every week yeah exactly Aaron Jones looks goes back to Lambeau and they led 28 to nothing they held on for dear life to win this game which is you know going to be some some interesting conversations in the Brian Flores film rooms this week I imagine on two continents two ends of the Atlantic but the 28 point lead the Vikings had in the first half is the most by a Minnesota team at Lambeau field at any point in any game that they've played there since week 13 1973 that's how well these Vikings are playing wow it's the most first half points by Minnesota against any divisional opponent since week 13 of 2007 Sam Darnold your MVP candidate from the Minnesota Vikings had this to say as he's getting set to take on his former team the team that drafted him next you know our attacking schemes on offense defense special teams and then the players we got you know it's a it's a really good formula for success in this league but at the end of the day like we we believe in each other more than anyone else believes in us so you know it's a really really good formula but again we got to continue to learn from things that we didn't do in this game you know the way that they were able to come back you know like I said on offense I feel like we could have been a lot better in the second half and just got to continue to learn and and grow and I'm sure he'll treat the whole taking on the Jets thing with the high class as he is now a guy with six career three touchdown pass games or better he had only four coming in he's got half of those this year six total four coming in two this year and did it back to back games last week and this week he's never done that before playing out of his later but I think that uh you mean on our overreaction Monday correct yeah I think they're playing the best team in the you know best in the fc yeah I think they are what if I want to see Seattle tonight what I was about to say what if the Seahawks hold to Jared Goff to less than 150 yards passing which means they would do that to every one of their opponents so far this year what about that what if they go in and just beat up Detroit tonight then you'd have to give Seattle that same thing and then you'd have to give Seattle that same thing tonight then you'd have to give Seattle that same flowers right uh yes the Vikings have had a little harder schedule home against San Francisco home against Houston at Green Bay yeah yeah Vikings would get a little bit of a nod for me right the Chiefs have played Seattle Seattle's right there Chiefs have played two at home two on the road just like the Vikings yeah one in division here in Los Angeles two at home against the two teams one would think were the best teams in the NFC North when the Steelers are three and one right now Detroit really beats teams up that's gonna be a physical game tonight yeah that'll be fun that'll be morning and figuring out you know the rest of my week and then all of a sudden boom boom Georgia comes back yeah and dude where were you you were not sitting with Sarah for this game so we had a busy Saturday so uh we were at a kids we had a baby shower earlier in the day uh cage had t-ball practice and then he had one of his classmates birthday and so i went to the baseball and then i went over to the to the birthday party and basically we just kind of tag teamed and Sarah was like okay i'm going home to watch the game and then i stayed with cage kind of for the rest of the party up until halftime basically i mean and i mean it was 28-0 yeah fast and then we all know how Georgia came back but then the Carson Beck Dylan Bell 67 yarder after they got the ball back with two and change to go was just unbelievable that they took the lead they took the lead and Jalen Milro who looks terrific i mean has been favorite and and and you can't blame it in terms of quarterback but more on that in a second but the kid i saw against Michigan at the Rose Bowl that's not who i'm seeing yeah agree okay he is absolutely better in every facet of the game every facet you could tell processing running he looks faster too and um but Georgia coming back not giving up taking the lead only to have us wondering how is Jalen Milro going to respond and he flings one out to his 17 year old wide receiver Ryan Williams and that kid making the catch that he made then the pirouette that he made while catching it and then the move that he made to get both Georgia defenders he just out jumped for the ball to collide and then speed into the end zone for a 75 yarder to put them up again and then of course seal the deal on defense in the end zone picking off Carson Beck that was after earlier in the game he had maybe the catch of the year where he did a 360 tipping it to himself i i i you know again i i sitting there i was screaming oh yeah screaming what was happening to see that touchdown for Georgia to complete the 28 point comeback their biggest comeback in the history of the school in Alabama to potentially ruin the whole damn night only to have Milro come back and and make that throw and Williams make that catch my question for you is if that's the way this kid looks like in the sec at age 17 does that mean somebody ought to cover him at age 16 in high school uh yeah yeah probably some like 14 year old trying to cover that dude imagine yeah well we say it all the time about those running backs like these like try to imagine tackling Derek Henry when you're 16 years old like how are you going to cover this kid i don't know man you can't it was awesome that kid was unbelievable one of the best players in the field and the youngest player in college football i got to tell you i was doing my other thing that i you know while while the blowout was happening was you know hate watching Ohio State and Michigan State made some mistakes and you just when you thought maybe this could be the night where Michigan State could surprise Ohio State this kid Jeremiah Smith do you see him on Ohio State their new young kid wide receiver also right he made a one-handed grab that was also made me scream something out you know in a different way he is so amazing every Buckeye hunk that i know um saying he's he's the best one yet which is insane when you look at the list of wide receivers who have come out of Ohio State recently dude look up the one look at the one handed grab he made and you could sit here and and the ball didn't move in his hand it was it wasn't one of those one-handed grab and then he then immediately had to put his second hand on it oh yeah it's unreal it's unreal yeah i'll tweet it out right now it's disgusting honestly so many talented kids at this level and they're babies but there's one grown-ass man to tell you about if Travis Hunter doesn't win the Heisman Trophy i i will be stunned it will be it will be and i i know what i'm buying into here so pardon me it'll be anti-deon bias oh stop it if he doesn't win come on if he if he hold on a second if he keeps let's put it this way if he keeps playing let me finish if he keeps playing and making the plays that he's making and doing what he's going to win dude he's and if he doesn't get it even with all that it's anti-deon bias no it'll be Colorado going eight and four bias doesn't matter you're talking about the best player in college football but that's not what the Heisman Trophy is well it should be the Heisman Trophy isn't the best player let me tell you the Heisman Trophy is the best player on the best team no it's been that way for a hundred when do they when they start giving out the award guys uh when Bo Jackson won the Heisman Auburn wasn't the best team let me tell you guys the best season guys come on please look please see what he's doing right he's playing almost every snap of the football game and he is the best receiver on the field they've got some very nice receivers by the way big win for Colorado in central Florida they got a running game going too and Chidor is really balling out Jess yes okay uh but his routes are second to none his catching radius his ability to make plays and then he plays defense lights out like don't test him do not test him and the crazy thing is all these cornerbacks that you sometimes see in the pros and they're like that's why he plays corner and not receiver well you're not gonna say that about this guy I swear this he's gonna do this in the pros yeah I I would like him in New England like honestly and you'd have to consider if New England goes first overall they take him first overall oh yeah you'd have to consider that we'd really have to think about it you'd have to consider that because if he can do I don't know how long you can sustain it in the pros I don't know the one who would know was is his current head coach right now um and what it takes is Dion once called himself a five down guy three on defense one on special teams next one on offense he called himself a five down player um I'm sitting here shaking my head and the plays that he's making on defense they're they're not just you know every now and then they're always and they're game-changing like the one against Baylor or game ceiling and really I hope he stays healthy I would love to see him do this in the pros like an like an Otani in the pros like true like two-way player the only ones that you'd see on black and white films before the sables started shooting stuff so 33rd team has uh him going number one can't blame him yeah the way that he is playing right now why wouldn't you and by the way a number of people that I speak to they're like well he's not gonna he's gonna have to choose one or the other in the pros no way no Dion is raising this young Dion is raising this young man to be a unicorn and play like the unicorn that he looks like right now ah stay healthy man I I just want to see what the next two months looks like with him and then at the combine is he gonna be the first like receiver cornerback to not work out you know like a quarterback like you've seen enough okay yeah what is the incentive for him to work out yeah you've seen it like Marvin Harrison Jr didn't like what do you want to see me do the w drill yeah is that what you need to see me honestly save it up if he's going to play 100 snaps in a professional football game also I just checked at least I haven't finished at least 14 Heisman winners have lost three or more games in their career that's at least 14 of them I haven't even gotten Colorado's only lost once right now I can't wait to see what they do next in the big 12 because if they have the running and passing ability and play defense like that they just played their best game of the year yeah Travis Hunter for Heisman for sure but you don't think that his draft status can be improved with a outstanding showing at the combine no no no no he's the most unique player we've seen in college football in quite some time I mean if he goes on and puts on the show at the combine right if there was a doubt between him being like I don't know one or three but what if they I hope he does makes a ballgame yeah yeah that's great for you I want Dion showing up there coming in the booth making fun of me I'll take it all oh yeah you know the door will be there so you I'm sure so you'll at least get Dion in the combine yeah I mean the question is they're not gonna work out I mean I don't know Travis Hunter's now third in odds he was who's who's who's who's number one jaylen milro okay that's hard to argue that too and Kim Ward if you watch the game on Friday Kim Ward is it didn't look that way about halfway through no but then not that but then yeah he's the real no I hear you he might be the first to go but only one guy is doing something that nobody does and expertly yeah also a shout out to Ashton Jante the Boise State running back that dude's a beast whoa how about that kid yeah he's a he's a monster I mean you got to stay up late on Saturday nights to watch him but it's almost like Pac-12 after dark yeah yeah we might see him in the playoffs could you see him running against the five seed yeah you know the best team in one of the power conferences that doesn't win at all and this is this is fun this is fun as the Braves go up to
