I think everybody wants to always look backwards. Really from the first day we got him solidified a lot of the things that I viewed him from afar. Earlier on the show, Yahoo! Our number one filled with reaction to last night's Cowboys week four opening win in MetLife Stadium over a Giants team that moved the ball on them but just couldn't punch it in the end zone. There's some injuries that happened towards the end of that game for the Dallas Cowboys. We'll get to Tom Pellicero lickety split 844-204 Rich.

It's a very important question. Tom what's up with Micah Parsons right now? What can you tell me? Him and Tank Lawrence and those guys? Well what I can tell you as of this morning the Cowboys were optimistic that neither one of those injuries was going to be something long term. The Demarcus Lawrence one honestly to me was scarier because anytime you see a guy who his foot just gets stuck in the ground and it almost looks like he feels some type of a pop in there that's going to be the the bigger concern. As far as Micah Parsons you know he gets 600 pounds of man that lands on him in different directions in that situation here. I know Rapport reported this morning the thinking is it's a high ankle sprain for Micah Parsons but again they've got to buy in the not too distant future here.

Neither one of these again as of this morning going through the medical process there wasn't a great deal of concern about them being long term. You never want to you know lose any of those guys but the fact that on a you know a little bit of a sloppy night against the Giants and there were a lot of weird moments in that game they found a way to go and get a much needed win on the road over a divisional opponent in New York which you know maybe lets people breathe a little bit down there at the Cowboys facility. I know I'm kind of throwing a little curve here but is Daron Bland still on target to return when the Cowboys expect because it did seem again that's the whole business with the all-inness and I know that they you know we weren't thinking they were going to add anybody on the back end of their defense it would embody somebody in their back field and we heard all week how they couldn't afford Derrick Henry but it is you know a depth question certainly at the cornerback spot right now for the Cowboys.

Tom? Well I mean they were they were rolling Andrew Booth last night who was acquired in a you know late round or not even a late round swap it was a player for player swap right before the cut down deadline in a trade with the Vikings. Booth was a second round pick once upon a time but you're not going into a season going boy I hope we've got Andrew Booth matched one on one in a national TV game against a divisional opponent but that's that's what you had last night and you know Malik Nabors put him in a blender once there but that's you know sometimes you get into your depth as far as Daron Bland and this goes back to August you know my understanding was this was similar to a Jones fracture but it wasn't a full fracture for Daron Bland so the thinking was somewhere in that like six to eight week range is probably where he'd be back that would put him on target to potentially start practicing as soon as next week. Cowboys haven't said yet whether or not the window is going to open but with several days to evaluate here going through the uh the mini buy here they'll have a good feel this by the end of the weekend whether potentially Daron Bland could be on the field again as soon as Monday. Tom Pelissero here on the Rich Eyes and Shell all right we're talking about injured reserve players and when we can see them words I never said before didn't think I would say Christian McCaffrey is apparently back from Germany um and what's the latest with him and his Achilles tendonitis is that what we're calling it is that official what can you tell me what's up with him Tom? It's an Achilles injury and what I would say is as much as people go he's going to Germany this must mean it's really bad there's a lot of players Rich who have gone and sought different types of treatment that are done in Europe for various injuries that's where some of the leading doctors in the world are there's a lot of different things that players can do with you normally hear about it with for instance knees there's a lot of guys who will go and get PRP or something like that for knee issues but there is um you know medical data supporting doing it for an Achilles as well now that that does tell you for Christian McCaffrey you know this is something that he's been going through since the end of July so we're two months into this process they rested them for about a month in training camp obviously that didn't entirely resolve the issue now you're several weeks into sitting them down again since the surprise scratch back in week one it does make some level of logical sense that you know if it's not resolving if rest didn't fix it before then maybe you got to try to do something a little bit more proactive to get you back on track anytime you know you have those procedures you know there is a rest period that comes up here we don't have a clear timetable yet we know from John Lynch talking on the radio earlier this morning McCaffrey is now back in the United States this is this is one of those ones that might be a little bit unpredictable rich because it's not a it's not a torn ACL it's not a high ankle sprain it's an Achilles issue it's not a tear it's it's a different type of a pain that he's feeling in that area it's obviously bothering him enough that Kyle Shanahan said himself you know the worst day he had was when he was trying to ramp up into week one the 49ers have to find a way to stay afloat they've had a lot of injuries that sound like they're getting killed back this week Deebo's back on the field whether or not he plays in this game or it's in their next game that's certainly a good side there but you know this is one of the top players in the NFL that challenges you as a whole and there's just not necessarily anything definitive because even if and when Christian McCaffrey gets back onto the field there's always the possibility this is something that's still negative so he's trying to figure it out and then the injured reserving of 2-0 was supposed to just give him the space and take away the timeline conversation when it comes to him Tom and you know then he travels with the team on a six-hour flight and the quarterback situation in in Seattle for Miami was just seemingly a lost cause you know and so we're we're hearing rumblings about maybe knocking on Denver's door for Zach Wilson or seeing how things play out with Pittsburgh's Wilson um are the Dolphins quarterback shopping knocking on doors or they're already expecting to a back what what what is the timeline of it even though we're supposed to give the space to that with his injured reserving Tom well I would tell you this rich at last check the Dolphins hadn't called either of those teams if you're thinking to a tongue of my love I'm going to play for the rest of the season you would think you would be looking for those long-term answers maybe it's one of those guys who's a backup quarterback maybe it's somebody else's starter who potentially could become available if that team is losing games and is out of the hunt and is just looking to get a draft pick for somebody but for the Dolphins right now with to a tongue of my loa he did make that trip the doctors cleared him to fly it's like six hours cross-country to Seattle they they cleared him to make that trip and basically the short version this is the medical version but the short version of what they've told him is hey if you're feeling good do all your normal activities just not football stuff and that's what to a once he wants to be engaged he's been in meetings he was on the sideline he was talking to the quarterbacks that all tracks with what we've been reporting which is the Tua intends to be back on the field um at some point in the future and quite possibly later on this season he's been visiting specialists this week that was kind of the next checkpoint in that there's specialists in Pittsburgh and Detroit that he visited back in 2022 he would anticipate those are among the specialists that he's visiting this time around as well in terms of what they're doing this week they put Skylar Thompson out there Skylar Thompson had earned the job the number two job back in training camp he beat out Mike White for it I know that I mean they've kept him around for three years he started a playoff game for him they see something in Skylar Thompson but it didn't translate to the field and then he got beat up and he got hit and he's been dealing with a very painful rib injury according to Mike McDaniel has practiced on a limited basis it's hard to imagine with that injury Skylar Thompson is going to be out there this week which then would leave you with Tim Boyle who you know just quite frankly is a is a practice squad guy all the way we've seen Tim Boyle playing the NFL before or it's Snoop Utley who made the Pro Bowl a couple of years ago because he relieved Lamar over the last what five games of that season and was able to you know get things functioning it's it's not you know this isn't Lamar Jr okay you're not getting that from Snoop Utley but there's probably all kinds of things that you haven't used in your offense before because you're not going to expose to them as a runner because you're not going to do some of those design types of things you know if it is Snoop Utley on Monday night and if I were guessing if I were just guessing Rich I would say that's who the starting quarterback would be there's gonna be some unscouted stuff that the titans are going to be facing just because you would never do some of the things with Tua that you can do with Snoop I would also say this when you're talking about your franchise quarterback the 53 million dollar a year player in Tua Tonga you expect that guy to raise the level of everybody around you when you're onto your backup quarterback or your third string quarterback you need those other players to raise the level of a quarterback Tyree Kill did not play well last week Jalen Waddle did not play well last week they got to play better in this game regardless of who's a quarterback for the Dolphins to have a chance and I assume most are not expected also on Monday night at this point in time hasn't been practicing we'll see that's that's kind of a weird one it's a chest injury for he moster they initially thought he was going to be back for their last game and then he didn't practice um you know we'll get the the final designation I haven't seen it yet if Mike McDaniel said exactly what the designation's going to be but certainly when a guy hasn't practiced in this long since an injury you would you would think he's not going to play which would mean it's Devon Achan's gonna have to be leading that backfield you know I'll ask this on the air even though this is an off the air question when you come on the show do you want us to take like a 30-second break to check your phone or something like that because I feel like I'm holding things back you're you're expertly working us through everything in there and you're you're also receiving information honestly I do we can be we can talk amongst ourselves for a good 30 seconds if you gotta if you gotta check on something I gotta take a call I gotta take a call I'll take a call these are these are texts okay that might bear on some things I've said in the last 15 minutes on the show so we'll we'll update those honestly here like we get nothing catastrophic or something catastrophic like two weeks ago when Bryce Young got pinched right before I came on I'll give you the goods on that this is more this is still fluid here dude I could reach out to jay-z we can get a musical act yeah I do like you know 30 seconds yeah yeah pelas the 32nd act um we we had uh Kevin O'Connell on yesterday I asked him if he's expecting to see Jordan Love he said yes what do you think it certainly seems to be tracking in that direction rich but if you would ask me last Friday I would have said it seems like it's tracking for Jordan Love to have a chance to play in that game against Tennessee as well the last two steps are going to be he needs to get medical clearance from the Packers doctors from the Packers doctors and Jordan Love has to tell those doctors tell the coaches tell everybody hey I can do this I want to be on the field I think I can move I can protect myself I can play well enough you know you go all the way back to when that injury occurred which was three weeks ago today it was a three to six week injury that's the timetable they gave him for an MCL sprain there was always optimism that he would be on the shorter end of that timetable but this is the first game that really falls within the timetable so right now you would say based upon his level of participation does not seem like he's had any setbacks it's an MCL sprain so you can play with a brace MCL is going to heal while you play with that brace on you would say this is the best chance yet for Jordan Love to be on the field but you know again there's there's some final conversations that have to take place Friday and Saturday morning Packers will have a good idea within 24 hours whether or not he's going to be on the field it's a huge game there's no doubt about it with the unbeaten Vikings coming to Lambeau field but you know they've also kind of had their season on the line the past couple of weeks they found a way to win with Malik Willis you know even if even if the reps are limited rich I would say this with Jordan Love they're running more or less the same type of game plan they can expand it more there's some additional things that they would do with Jordan Love but it'd be pretty similar even if he's not able to take all the reps through the week which they're saying he's limited here you know Jordan Love will be ready to roll if in fact all those conversations occur and he he's out there on Sunday couple questions about Kansas City at Los Angeles um Justin Herbert's gonna go even with a bye coming up next week what do you think he wants to go and last week you know despite all odds despite you know about five rolls of tape on that ankle he found his way to be out there and really he was pretty effective until the third quarter when he started taking those hits and then he tweaked the ankle and then it just you know it wasn't something that he was going to be able to keep going on you know again that that's another injury that you know if you feel confident that you can get out there and function well enough there's a chance that you can heal while playing on a high ankle sprain it's not good to keep injuring it obviously but there's nothing here that suggests that you know anything's broken anything is extended the timetable at this point there's a lot of guys who don't necessarily have that same mentality of hey I'm gonna put myself out there I want to go every single week you know so so good for Justin Herbert I don't think the Chargers I know the Chargers wouldn't put him out there if they feel like he's putting himself in harm's way but you're also talking about a team that's not going to have its starting tackles for the Chargers this week and you're facing Chris Jones and that Kansas City front that's been really tough you know last week it was pretty clear by Saturday at the walkthrough that Justin Herbert was going to go so another situation where in about 24 hours he'll probably have a good idea if he's going to be out there and Kareem Hunt is saying he's you know going to be out there essentially how are the Chiefs handling the the running back position going into this game to try and go 4-0 what do you got on that well Kareem Hunt's the rare guy that you can sign off the couch rich and a week later you can put him in there because he knows the offense he's literally played in this offense for this coach on this team it's it's amazing the symmetry to last year where it was an injury to Nick Chubb in the same week of the season in week two that brought Kareem Hunt back in week three and he was playing for the Browns that week or the week after now once again he goes back to Kansas City everything I've heard is that he's in good shape he had a good workout when he went through there you know it's going to depend in part on just stamina and being in football shape and you know how much conditioning you have and things like that in terms of how much they put him on the field but you know in terms of his readiness it sounds like he's completely ready to roll and so I would anticipate that he's a certainly a factor in their plan this week okay and then last one for you here the Caleb Williams conversation that um I think only ratchets up a little bit because he hasn't won the Bears haven't won since week one Jayden Daniels just looked superb he really did like and a wow factor that we thought we'd be seeing from Caleb Williams from jump even though that might be an unfair expectation level Bo Nix just one on the road as well what are you hearing what is the conversation about Caleb Williams in Chicago going into start four for him Tom rich I went back after that that Thursday night Monday night performance by Jayden Daniels and looked at that quarterback thing that I write every year before the draft I talked to all the coaches GMs executive scouts without using their names to get like honest unvarnished opinions about players Caleb Williams was the number one quarterback he was the consensus guy the lead quote in the Jayden Daniels section was from a scout who's got a good track record on this who told me he would take Jayden Daniels if he had the number one pick and his reasoning was because Jayden Daniels is more polished from the pocket because Jayden Daniels seems to be on the ascent where Caleb's kind of been going flat over the last year in his college career and because in the scouts words I think Jayden loves ball more with Jayden Daniels you're seeing that polished from the pocket I mean he is throwing dots with pressure on him with he's about to take a hit and he's making plays from the pocket with Caleb you're kind of seeing some of the things you saw in college which is that he'll make some hellacious plays outside the pocket that one last week where he's rolling to his left and like contorts his body sideways and throws it like a shortstop to the open receiver you look at that and you go holy cow he can make those throws that's in there the playmaking ability is in there and it's not as if you know understanding the offense and things like that is beyond him but just the the regular plays and the playing from the pocket and going through the process is it's just not something that he had to do a whole lot in college and you're seeing some of those bumps in the early going here you know last year we got not that far into the season and it was CJ Stroud lighting it up and Bryce Young was struggling even though Bryce Young beat CJ Stroud that's right when those two went head to head here and that's kind of the the direction that it's gone as we move forward a big question you know throughout this process was how quickly was Caleb going to be able to really function and play within the confines of an offense it's three games it's a long season he's not getting benched but yeah there's some things that that need to be cleaned up here I think that you know Chicago and Caleb Williams you have to put TBD behind that with Jayden Daniels and Washington right now even though again it's three games it's early you got a dude who looks pretty special it doesn't look too big for him it looks right out of the gate like he can handle this you still wonder about you know how well is he going to slide the slides are work in progress but you know in terms of not putting himself in harm's way he's done a good job of that and he has shown how good he is in the pocket I'm not surprised that Jayden Daniels is doing what he's doing I'm just surprised he's doing it with the consistent consistency the throat of Mclaurin and the place that he made in that game it's been cool to watch it's the perfect coaches for him Dan Quincy's over wrapped his arms around him Cliff's running the right offense for him it's been really it's been really good out of the gate and then I guess I lied I do have one more for you even though I know you keep looking at your phone you you're the one who mentioned Bryce Young as well and so we saw what what Dalton did last week and now Andy Dalton's going on his tour of former teams Cincinnati first Chicago next right and then so honestly like what is the metric by which Bryce Young would actually get back in after what we just saw right I mean you you you got a guy who just spun it up they're one and two and what what's your take on what what the aftermath of week three was for the Panthers before I let you go Tom if the Panthers are winning Andy Dalton's not coming out of the lineup that's the simplest way that I can put it with Bryce Young there is still a belief in him they still think this guy can develop into being the guy that they drafted number one overall it just wasn't something that they could sell in the locker room based upon those first two games and so they go to Dalton if you know the next three games if they're two and four and Dalton's just being mediocre you'll see Bryce Young back in there if they're four and two in those games I don't think you're seeing Bryce Young anytime soon you know Dave Canales has a lot of veteran players who've seen stuff in that locker room it's you know Adam Thielen just went on IR but it's Deontay Johnson and Jadevion Clowney is on that team some of those veteran dudes like they know the players always know and what they saw last week was Andy Dalton functioning in an offense that looked dysfunctional with Bryce Young at quarterback so there's no reason to rush Bryce Young back into it it's definitely jarring when you see Andy Dalton walk into the sideline and Bryce Young's job on game day is basically to hand Andy the iPad or the the Microsoft Surface tablet excuse me you know that's that's humbling there's no doubt about it but Bryce Young's a humble guy already it's not as if he came in here and thought he had nothing to work on it just hasn't worked out to this point you know there's a long history Rich of you know quarterbacks getting benched early in their career and you know even guys who ended up being Super Bowl winners you know guys like Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman John Elway like these guys got benched early on in their careers and they came back and they did it with Bryce it hasn't looked like he's an NFL quarterback so far like if you took the name plate off and just said hey that's you know not to bag on it but that's PJ Walker out there you go okay about the same size kind of stumbling you know not not great so far here he hasn't looked like a number one overall draft pick it's still early in his career look at all the other high draft pick quarterbacks right now are playing better for other teams the book is not written on Bryce Young but right now Andy Dalton holds the pen you're the man thanks Tom by the way you can call it an iPad here on the show hey I'm very conscientious of the sponsors okay we love our rashaun johnson can't take the pressure off or the offensive line can't provide a run game for this kid it's going to just ratchet up a little bit more and the question is is that fair why ask you you know the answer to that why i ask you yes it's definitely not fair and i also don't think he looks all that bad yet he's had the most passing urge in a single game this year in the nfl but if he had won last week right i think this week would have been caleb williams look at the numbers that he just did in a win it's fine but it just it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it just everyone needs to slow down it doesn't look like what it looked like on monday night for jayden daniels it just doesn't uh because no one was watching the bears game over the weekend but did when i was i mean so it wasn't a natural game did you feel like when every single time he dropped back like this was going to be something good or he had a full command do you feel like he has a full command in the same way that john jayden daniels gives off that impression i feel like he doesn't have clear the coaching that jayden daniels has and we know coaching in this league really matters look what kevin o'connell said yesterday uh and his offensive line isn't as good as washington so yeah he's kind of back there running for his life and it's probably the game's probably a little bit faster uh than he maybe thought it was or it came to him in college and it's just going to be one of those things he's not going to come out of the gate as an mvp rookies don't win mvp a quarterback in the nfl what do you think tj i agree with what he said having watched a little bit of the bears this year the lion chris that's the thing after game one i i did sit there i was watching the bear fans and i thought he looked a little lost but guess what that's to be expected it's game one he's you know you can't you can't really fully understand and it's come from people who really don't understand ourselves but i don't think you can really understand what it's like to you're out there on that field in that in that in that pass rush is coming at you so he looked a little lost but again to be expected the line's not that great but he showed promise at the end of the last game when he really started piling up those passing yards but i'm with chris i think it's going to take a little bit of time but i think he's going to be just fine i i do too think he's going to be just fine as well uh it would be helpful if the run game or the defense put something in the end zone for him well you know the first game the defense you know they did so they got two games the uh two games coming up at home against the rams and the carolina panthers win them both go win them both i mean you're going i mean that's could you and just again and then and then you're in london i'll be calling that game against jacksonville i i would just for his sake for the bear's sake to get this on an upward swing and cleaning it up and having him look you know or having it be a little bit more efficient because that game at washington pal i mean if the yeah that game is it was when it was on the calendar to start i it was one dude it was on the calendar to start it was one of those games where it's just like well that will be fun to watch the first and second overall picks and draft go at it just like last year isn't that amazing the football gods put bryce young and cj strout on the same field last year and obviously you know uh the result what does that mean when we're now looking at it from now bryce young actually beat cj strout okay right so the result might not matter well right now i want that game flexed into sunday night if both these quarterbacks are you know playing up here you know what might well first of all let's see the sunday night it's not flexing because this that sunday night is san francisco and dallas and san francisco so that ain't happening but week six or week seven this is week eight week eight i thought it was okay yeah yeah that ain't happening so but i i understand that you're you're you're communicating your excitement for it yeah but um you know i will say this based on what i saw last night and based what i'm seeing from philadelphia so far washington commanders have a and i'm not going high register they've got a real shot yeah i think so because if they've got hope and belief and this kid what he did in cincinnati and and and it's it's tough to say that that's just you know an outlier when when that throw he made to terry mclaurin to wrap it to wrap it that they called it up that they dialed it up and that he delivered it to basically say we're not even gonna you know a rookie would normally make that throw or certainly when he takes the hit that throw that jayden daniels dropped to terry mclaurin with 210 to go on the clock with somebody coming in and he took it he took it in the chops and delivered that dot rookie quarterbacks normally would sail that thing out of bounds or it would float up in the air and and and at worst your team would lose possession and at best they would be kicking a field goal and leaving it up to joe burrow to try and drive the field to tie it instead he ended it yeah he was like a snitch on that play he dropped a dime let me say guys when that happened i audibly said something chris long earlier this i mean i leapt off the couch chris long said he won't forget where he was and i don't think that's an exaggeration yeah i mean so you know how i feel about washington so again so that's all i'm saying is if one team that was not expected to do much actually has a shot to win the division and the other team is still trying to grind gears to do it i don't think this is an indication whether somebody's worthy of being a quarterback in this league but these are just conversations that you hear and that that definitely get into the mind's eye and of i would imagine and a a young man in a world where people are omnipresent online frequently i mean you look at these two teams you look at washington great run game brian robinson jr is a top 15 back in the league austin ecker comes in he's been doing his thing though he's out this week and then you look at chicago man d'andre swift has really let caleb williams down uh maybe the biggest free agent bust so far or it's the first guy sound or it's just a line up front man i mean even when he does have some space he he's not doing it well who said earlier this week that just maybe it's was it was it marshall who said that about justin fields yeah on what the football because it's always marshall it's just like hey justin fields wasn't that bad yeah i think it's gonna be roshon johnson time so we're gonna see maybe he can provide a spark but the run game is really like caleb williams down or the line up front we'll see combo i've got a top five right here most intriguing matchups for the rest of week four hit it high five one two three four five richest top five there there are some good ones and there are some good ones that would be further down the list that didn't make the list and i'll hit that when i'm done with it but number five of the most intriguing matchups remaining in week number four is chiefs at chargers jim harbaugh home game second divisional game at home already won one against the raiders this is the one though in which he could put the calling card down and man for him i wish rashaun slater and joe alt were healthy that would been really interesting and same thing with justin herbert who was able to go last week in pittsburgh and then didn't finish the game that said if there is any jim harbaugh moment that could possibly occur it would be winning this game anyway and seeing the chiefs come in and being able to put their calling card down on the table and say we're the defending champs here in los angeles defending champs twice in a row and nice uh fun warm and fuzzy you got here uh charger fans but guess what it's still the same it doesn't matter that you got a new coach it's still it's still it's still not your moment i i can't wait i'm gonna go to this game actually i'm excited to see it i'll be there in person um and um that's number five on this list number four on this list the eagles already went into the team that was undefeated in the nfc south in new orleans and came out with the win bucks at home took it in the chops from the denver broncos how will they respond how will the eagles follow up as they're staring down a bye week needing that rest and the tampa bay buccaneers at two and one with a thursday night game in atlanta right around the corner an interesting four-day stretch coming up for the tampa bay buccaneers once the eagles come into town they go to atlanta how will they handle that business can the eagles go to three and one in division and i can't wait to see it and also avenge the manner in which they lost in the playoffs last year in tampa number three on the list is the game that wraps up week number four always fun when these two teams play each other it's points of palooza the lions just came out with the win in arizona the seahawks are three and oh these lions are absolutely without question the best team the seahawks have faced so far in the first month of this season they will finally face a team that the rest of all of us in the media can't come and say in their direction if they win it yeah but who have you really beaten this is a big one and the detroit lions have lost one at home can they actually lose a second one in a row at home they won in arizona after being vanquished by the aforementioned buccaneers in week number two can't wait to see if the seahawks can stay undefeated against the detroit lions who can go to three and one with both the vikings and packers playing each other earlier on sunday and that's number two on my list the vikings three and oh packers two and one malik willis has won two in a row in place of jordan love after the packers lost in brazil so in other words the packers are undefeated in this portion of earth in this hemisphere they're undefeated with malik willis they're undefeated in the northern hemisphere and is it possible that jordan love returns and what happens and can the vikings go to forno and head off to london perfect in the first quarter of their season and sam darnold taken on the packers taking on the packers in green bay because i'll tell you what man having big wins at home against the san francisco 49ers and the euston texans to follow it up with a division road win in green bay aaron jones coming back to make sure that that happens that would be huge for the four and oh vikings if they can get to that number one on the list though is sunday night football team atop my power rankings the three and oh bills taking on the one and two ravens on enbc ravens coming off of their first win of the season avoiding the dreaded oh and three start are they the team that boat raced dallas or the team that almost still lost to dallas anyway are they the team that had the kansas city chiefs right where they wanted them or the team that just ultimately had not all the breaks and also made enough mistakes that they couldn't come up with the win are they the team that opened up well in the first three quarters of their game against the vegas raiders or are they the team that blew it against the team that got blown out the following week by andy dalton and carolina which supposedly couldn't tie their shoes before walking into that building who are the ravens and one way to basically say we're still the one seed is to take down the number one seed on my current power rankings not to make it about myself for my silly power rankings but i'm just trying to make a point that the bills are pretty damn good yeah and in the minds of some best team in the nfl coming into this game against the baltimore ravens that's number one on my top five games one more all right for the rest of the week four i'll give you one more i almost put washington and arizona on this one almost did it tray mcbride out on sunday okay almost put because i just want to see jayden daniels follow it up yeah and by the way to go on the road all the way across the country um in a short week that's not that usually helps the home team that's sitting at home chilling out i know tray mcbride being out is not helpful a cliff kingsbury uh revenge game hey now you know what uh but i didn't do it this is the most underrated rivalry in professional football nobody talks about it like it's the bears and packers or jets and patriots or cowboys and fill in the blank but when the saints and falcons play each other the fan bases sincerely dislike each other like intensely say that again dislike each other like want the worst possible thing to happen to their opponent dislike of each other and the falcons coming off of that near win against kansas city falling at home to the saints is already an unkind cut but they would be two and a half games behind the saints at that point in time because the saints would be able to be two games up in the actual win loss with a tie break walking out of atlanta with a road win in atlanta to basically tell atlanta for you to go to the super bowl this year and win in our house you better do a lot more winning than what we've just seen or atlanta could basically say uh we are um inhospitable hosts we are as good as we showed in the final drive in philadelphia and for many of the drives against kansas city and we're going to come to your house this year and uh have a confetti make it rain party okay so that's what we're gonna do and i can't wait to see how the saints follow up their loss and how the falcons follow up their loss and that's early window on fox baby i'm i'm i'm i'm gonna go with that one as my one more of the most intriguing matchups of week number four let's
