Live from the Rich Eisen Show studio in Los Angeles. We're back. We're back.

We're back. I think it predates Kyrie Irving's existence on this flat earth. Earlier on the show, commanders running back Austin Eckler. NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero. Coming up actor and director Jimmy Tatro. And now it's Rich Eisen.

That's right hour number three. The Rich Eisen Show is on the air. Fun stuff with Tom Pelissero. Last hour, first hour with Austin Eckler.

Jimmy Tatro is in our green room. He's going to be coming out here because we are all rowing in the same direction right here on the Roku channel on this Roku platform in this Roku world that we live in. The new Roku original film, The Real Bros of Simi Valley, the movie.

It just sounds funny rolling up. I know, just the title sounds amazing. That's going to be available exclusively right here on the Roku channel Friday, July 5th. That's next week, but Jimmy's in town right now to hang out with us and he'll be doing that. Tom Pelissero was great to talk with him about what's going on with the 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk and all the other stuff with the Dallas Cowboys in advance of July when rubber really begins to meet the road. He also dropped a line that I wrote down, I think he might have as well. He was talking about how the report that Mike McCarthy might be fed up with the lack of contractual runway for him as well as the rest of his very important players on the team and how he just basically said it's part and parcel working for Jerry Jones and this is all just a fleck of paint in the tapestry, which I thought was like a fleck of paint. That sounds like a Joni Mitchell song. Pink Floyd, B-side maybe.

That was the original Carole King album name Fleck of Paint in the Tapestry and she just shortened it to Tapestry, which I think was a smart move on her part. We're still talking about it today. Just make it Facebook cleaner. Also in honor of the NBA draft starting with two Frenchmen after it started with one Frenchman and I had my power rankings of top 10 most important things, all French contributions and I beseech you to seek it out. It really was one of the most important things we've done here in almost 10 years.

French contribution power rankings. That's right. That's how we're rolling. That's how we're covering the NBA draft.

The NBA draft. And then Brawny Watch. Brawny Watch. Who's gonna get Brawny? Who's taking Brawny tonight, buddy? Did you see what Tim Wegler said?

And Bill Simmons also said it earlier in the week. Who's taking him? That the Celtics should take him and then be like, hey, you want Brawny? Give us Austin Reeves.

What is it? What are you holding him hostage? Like Liam Neeson? I thought you were gonna say, hey, you want Brawny Lebron? Come sign with us. I thought that's what you were doing. No, just like, hey, you want him?

We'll take Austin Reeves. It's like, it's like Brawny and the Beast. So it is. Like, where do you know where Brawny's going? Take Brawny, put him down in the basement with all the books and say, you're staying there till you come around. By the way, that story was already written. I'll never forget watching Beauty and the Beast for the first time as a dad with my kids. The movie or the TV show? The movie, the movie.

Just sitting there and watching the movie. And I'm like, wait a minute. The plot of this is like the beauty is not into the beast who's into the beauty.

So he'll just take her in and throw her in the basement until she comes around. I'm like, is that what we're teaching my kids? What the hell is this about? Oh, it's about, there's a beautiful person. I'm aware of that. I get it. And then you have to look past. And then every other Disney movie.

Superficial looks. Either Susie or I in that story will invariably eat it. Oh yeah. The parents are always the first, like honestly, that's like 10 minutes. It's like a horror movie.

You know, the alone person in the house, you know, they're going to eat it. The parent in the Disney movie. What was the first Disney movie to do that?

Oh God, just go back to the fifties. Bambi. Bambi's mom ate it, right? Bambi's mom ate it. I mean, honestly, they've been doing this to kids.

Disney's been doing this to kids for decades. All right. I said my piece. Chris Brockman, you have a news update over there? It's been a while.

I got a few things. All right. Hit it. Hit it. Hit it.

And now with a report of the day's news from the world of sports and entertainment, someone who is not a journalist or newsman by any definition of the word whatsoever, it's Chris Brockman. All right, here we go. Hey guys. What do you got? Again, so disrespectful. What do you got?

I have awards. We love Russell Wilson around these parts, right? We're curious to see what's going on with Russ. How he's going to do down in Pittsburgh. Well, he's doing everything possible. We saw him working out with DK Metcalf earlier in the week.

DK, Steeler, Trade Roamers. But you know what he's doing, Rich? He's here in LA. He's with Freddie Roach. He's boxing. And by the way, I got to say TJ looks pretty jacked. Like Russ looks shredded. You see this?

Yeah. Like Russ has been working out with Freddie at Wildcard Gym. He said that he'd been into this before COVID.

It hit. He couldn't do it anymore. And now he's back. He's got the Kobe Grinches on. He's shirtless.

He's got a six pack. Are we back on Russ? Are we back on Russ here? Listen, black and gold. Here we go. Here we go.

I've said this before and I will say it again. His performance in Denver was obviously disappointing. If it wasn't, he wouldn't be a Steeler now. True. And the first year kind of got a mulligan because his coach wasn't Sean Payton.

Okay. And if he was, Sean Payton wouldn't be the coach who sent Russ packing. Sent Russ packing. But the opportunity that he got is one that I didn't think he was going to get, which was the Pittsburgh Steelers raising their hand and basically inserting him into a situation where he had been there for eight years, not like eight days, which is like, you're going to get the first crack at a starter's job.

And then the kid who was there, Kenny Pickett, made himself a hostage and they then volunteered to send him to Pittsburgh, to Pennsylvania across the state, to Philly. And then Russ now is the guy, even with Justin Fields coming in, it's clear. And what he has done is realized this potential last best chance to be a starting quarterback in this league with a real shot to go to a Super Bowl and breathe life back into a hall of fame trajectory is really impressive. And we all know, forget the Freddie Roach stuff, which is very impressive. Forget the black and gold, here we go stuff.

Forget all that. It started with his clear decision to go through Newark Airport to visit Pittsburgh for the first time and show that he was all about it. People may be surprised, oh, he's got six packs. You were even saying, oh, he's got six packs. I was kind of surprised.

I was going with Freddie Roach. He must really be meaning business. The first time when he goes from the Giants to the Steelers for a job and he did not go and fly private, which he could clearly have done, he willingly went through Newark Airport, which shows you the blue collar mentality you need.

That showed it to me right there. Because you don't just go through Newark Airport just because, you're making a point. And anybody who's flown from Newark Airport knows exactly what I'm talking about. Oh, the gate's not ready. Oh, let's sit out there for 90 minutes. I mean, I could go on and on.

Top five worst airports? I don't want to get stuck on that. But that's when I first saw it. And I just believe that he is clearly making the most of this opportunity, which is very, very impressive. And I am excited for him. And he's getting me jacked up.

That week one game in Atlanta. He knows, man. He knows this could possibly be. This could be it.

I don't think it could possibly be. If it doesn't work here, if it goes the way it went in Denver, which is making plays last year, but off schedule. And, and, and hoping against hope that, you know, Danger Russ shows up in the fourth quarter and pulls something out of the fire after three quarters of a lot of frustrating play. And I know they won in Buffalo and I know they won in Kansas City.

It wasn't as bad as the year before, but it certainly wasn't the Seattle salad days. Well, he's going to have a coach who likes him, a franchise that doesn't want to see him fail. So I'm on board.

If he falls, then I'll be the first one to say I was wrong. One of the most fascinating stories going on in the season, for sure. What else you got over there, Chris? Okay. You love Sauce Gardner, Rich, right?

Please. That's his man. I pounded this very desk for him. I spoke it into existence. In fact, you did. You really did.

I had nothing to do with the Jets clearly seeing what I saw too. I don't know that that's true necessarily, but. Yeah, you're right. And golf is having a moment. It seems like everyone, every athlete is into golf right now.

We got the American century coming up. Sauce just started golfing yesterday and he is tweeting his head off about golf. He posted a video yesterday.

This is his first time ever playing. That's not a bad swing. He said his drive went 240, but I'm looking for tips.

Drop some tips. So he's posted a video. It looks like I'm hitting an iron form wise and not a driver. He's an athlete. So then the PGA Tour of America sent him a video. He's having himself a day on a course. Oh, because he's putting with a glove on.

Oh, sorry, sorry. So people were giving him grief because he was putting with a glove on. So he made the putt. He made a birdie, right? And then someone gave him some tips about standing up at his stance. The only thing I've ever been addicted to is golfing right now. Then the PGA Tour of America sent him a video with how he should be swinging and how he should be his form and everything.

Let's take a look at what they said. This is great. His technique comes directly from the tour.

Justin Kraft, Teaching Pro out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Let's help you play better golf. When you make your backswing, your arms travel way too low and around you to the point where your lead arm is underneath your shoulder plane. I'd love for you to get those arms a little bit higher and more on or above your shoulder plane. When the arms get too low, it's just way too easy to swing too far from the inside. Hit a lot of straight blocks, hit a lot of hooks.

No good, right? Also in the follow-through, when you come through, you move a lot of pressure into your toes and you actually come through and you like fall towards the golf ball, right? I'd love for you to learn how to move that pressure into the lead heel so you can stay in posture and stay in balance a little bit better to the point where when you come through the ball, it'd be great to see your left toe even coming up off the ground like this. So we know you're staying balanced.

We know you're moving your pressure around properly. Let's help you play way better golf. Well done, Justin Kraft.

This is great advice for everyone. Sauce has responded. He just went back and watched a video of the swing.

You're a hundred percent right. Back on the course today. I'm on the course today.

Well done Sauce. He says he's putting a simulator in his house. He's watching YouTube videos of Roy McElroy, Taylor Made, hit him up saying they're going to take care of him.

Even just a few minutes ago, Rich, U.S. Open winner Bryson DeChambeau invited him to come on his YouTube channel for a lesson. Said quote, we'll get you dialed in. Sauce even said a few minutes ago, I had a dream I hit a hole in one on a par five. I love it.

Woke up and told myself to keep dreaming. Golf and Sauce are having a moment. I like it. Good for him. It's the off season. Let's see if Al the jeweler can help as well.

Give him something for the for the for the affair. All right, let's talk college baseball. Texas A&M dropped to Tennessee in the College World Series, as we all know. The Texas A&M coach from Monday was asked if he's going to be a lifer at Texas A&M. Coach, with respect to the difficult outcome tonight, but with the rumors circulating today about a specific job opening, what do you have to say about your future in Aggieland? Yeah, I mean, I think it's pretty selfish of you to ask me that question to be honest with you. But my I left my family to be the coach at Texas A&M.

I took the job at Texas A&M to never take another job again. And that hasn't changed in my mind. That's unfair to talk about something like that.

They'd be like you asking Montgomery if he's going to sign in the draft. But I understand you got to ask the question. But I gave up a big part of my life to come take this job. And I've poured every ounce of my soul in this job. And I've given this job every single ounce I can possibly give it.

Write that. So that job opening, the reporter was referring to was the University of Texas. For Jim Schlossnagle. That was Monday.

On Tuesday, Coach Schlossnagle took the job at Texas. And then yesterday, he said this. When the game ended, I want to publicly apologize to Richard Zane from Tex-Axe. He's a young reporter. He asked the question that was an obvious question. I wish I could have answered that better. But in the moment, all 30 minutes after the last pitch, all I could think about was our players.

And I really wasn't in the mood to talk about myself for the future. So I apologize for that to Richard. It's been a week for Coach Schlossnagle. Well, Coach Schlossnagle was referring to, he said he'd left his family because he was at TCU from, I think, 2004 to 2021 and then left to go to A&M for three years. Very successful there. I think I wrote down this.

We're going to talk about it yesterday, too. 300, 300, 300, 300, 35, and 62 at three years at A&M. The Texas AD, Chris Del Conte, was at TCU with him. And thus, when Texas offered him this job, he took it. And one can only think, it wasn't offered to him after the first press conference where he went all in on the reporter.

So I just love, he's just saying he's thinking of the players, but you're thinking of him now after you left? I think we have a new definition that we're going to use. We're a new word here on the Rich Eisen Show. It's a verb. It could also be a noun, Schlossnagle, to shame the media, to cover the tracks of your move the media has sniffed out.

That's the word I'm going to use. To pull a Schlossnagle. That's if you Schlossnagle somebody, it's when you do that.

Or it could be a noun, you pull a Schlossnagle. Deny the job that you're rumored for and then take it the next day. But again, listen, here's my point. Certainly if he left his family, if he was in College Station, Texas by himself being a coach trying to do his job and this offers him an opportunity where he can get back with his family. And somebody who's an athletic director who he knows and he's from the TCU days and they could work together and he gets a huge raise. I totally understand that.

I also understand being snippy after you lose. I'm glad he apologized to the member of the media, but all that said, put it together. There was a statement from Texas A&M athletic director, Trev Alberts talking about, hey we wish him well, all that business. Trev Alberts just left Nebraska three months ago. Everybody's moving around.

Everybody's moving around. The new athletic director in Texas A&M got Schlossnagled. And he's now at Texas. Nebraska used to have Trev Alberts. He's now at Texas A&M and everyone's moving around. So my point is to any kid that hits the transfer portal and you have a problem with it, shh, be quiet.

Because coaches are going and athletic directors are going and if the kids can go, everybody's going. Just don't Schlossnagled anybody on the way out the door. Am I using that properly now? I think so, yeah.

All right. You got one more over there Chris? Lastly, Jimmy Tetra is going to come out. College football news before we get to Jimmy. Yeah. Notre Dame and Michigan used to have a great college football rivalry.

Oh, you're about to trigger me. By the way, by the way, when I was in college, and again I don't want to go full, you know, then when I was a kid, I used to, I know what I used to do. But when I was there, Michigan and Notre Dame would start the season. Start the season, great way to start the college football season. Well, it's back.

What is? Notre Dame and Michigan, sort of. Notre Dame and Michigan State are renewing their college football rivalry in 2026 and 2027. The Irish will host the Spartans in South Bend in 26th. Notre Dame will go to Lansing in 27th. When Lou Holtz and George Perlis used to match wits.

Is that what I'm remembering? Notre Dame and Michigan are back. What rivalry? The megaphone trophy? Who the hell has ever heard of a megaphone trophy?

What is that? A megaphone trophy is up for grabs. Seriously? Does Jimmy Hart bring that out to them? That's right. The mouth of the south brings it to the glove. When Rudy and Bubba Smith used to go against each other? Nice. Seriously.

Look. Rudy and Bubba Smith. Michigan and Notre Dame used to start the season against one another. And then, and I was there my senior year, my senior year of college, what turned out to be Bo Schembechler's last year. And Rocket Ishmael ruined the Michigan season right off the bat. It sucked for me, but at least it felt like, okay, one of the best in college athletics came up here and beat us in Michigan Stadium. And it's also a tradition.

And what are you going to do? These things happen. We'll get them again next year, whatever. And then Lou Holtz, you know what he did? He started warming up from Michigan. He started playing these teams like rice. That's what he used to do.

He used to start against these people that couldn't find their, you know, what, from their elbow. And then they would warm up for Michigan. And it would go, but, oh, but you can't overlook that team. You know, you can't overlook that Tulsa State. You can't overlook that team. You can't overlook that.

You can start talking them up. And we'd be sitting there in Ann Arbor going, wait a minute. We're starting against you.

We haven't broken a sweat yet, but you've done. So they started doing that. Then a few years ago, they just stopped playing Michigan.

But please, how about it with Michigan State? Do we know if it's the first game of the season? Do we know that way? We do not know. We do not know. Okay.

TV partner and time of the year. That's great. Don't worry about it.

Don't worry about it. Which football program has won a national championship more recently? When was the last time Notre Dame won one? When did that happen? Oh, when they used to open up against Michigan. It's been a while. Oh yeah. Who won the most recent national championship in football? Don't worry.

We all know the answer to that. Did you say somebody, when you ran into a Michigan guy, who said that I've been talking too much tonight? I was golfing. What was this?

What happened? Last week I played and got partnered up with these guys who had just graduated from college. And one of the guys, we're just talking to him, making small talk, graduated from Michigan. Oh yeah.

My buddy went to Michigan. Yeah. Rich Eisen. Oh yeah. Rich Eisen has been talking a lot of S. That's what the Michigan guy said?

Yeah. So you are a presence on the campus. That is the greatest compliment I could get. That is the greatest compliment I could get. Everyone knows that you're- How'd he say it?

That is the greatest. Did he say it like, man, he's been talking too much? Or he's like, yeah.

No, no, no. He was very proud. He was very proud. I'm glad. I'm glad that it wasn't like, oh, oh, anything like that. Oh, Rich Eisen's been talking a lot of S. Great, great, great. Receipts are everywhere. I am happy to have them everywhere because the last three years have been fantastic.

Last year in particular, fantastic. And in case anybody's wondering, the hall of fame's already invited me back for the jacket then. In Ohio. So come at me. Happy, happy, happy to do it. Thank you for triggering me. Did I give you the response that you wanted? Michigan State, get out of here.

Okay. Let's take a break. Jimmy Tetreault is coming out right here on The Rich Eisen Show. So the new coach they have up there from Oregon State and all his Pac-12 history.

He's coming into Notre Dame. This Rich Eisen Show podcast is sponsored by Progressive Insurance. Jimmy Tetro, man. The real brothers of Simi Valley. The movie is right here on the Roku channel, Friday, July 5th.

It's the new Roku original film. And Jimmy is here on the program. Fun stuff, man. Dude, this just started. When did you first come with this idea and say, I'm just throwing on my YouTube page? When did that happen?

It was in like 2018. It was just originally, it was like, you know, I was doing a video every week and it was like, how do we not have to start over every Tuesday and say, what are we doing next week? So we're like, let's do like a little mini series, you know, do a two day shoot. And we liked making fun of reality shows how the idea that nothing can happen, but you use dramatic music and sound effects and makes anything seem like drama. So we did it as just a little mini series on YouTube.

And then we're able to sell that to Facebook as a full length show that we did for two seasons. And then now, now here we are making a movie. A film. A film. It's a film.

The Roku original film. Yes. Is this based on anybody that you know? Well, I went to high school in the Valley. Yeah. You went to Notre Dame.

I went to Notre Dame. You talked about last time you were here. Talk about Giancarlo Stanton. Yeah. Mike. Right. Is that when it was not Mike back then? Yes.

Right. Yeah, no, it was. So it was in the Valley. So I was exposed to a lot of the deep Valley bros that inhabit the San Fernando Valley. And it was, it was either going to be the real bros of Santa Clarita, the real bros of Valencia or the real bros of Sydney Valley. And I think Sydney Valley just had the best ring to it.

It didn't really. The other ones have a pretty good ring to it. Well, Santa Clarita was number two, but that they had just come out with the Santa Clarita diet.

I mean, like there's already a Santa Clarita show. Got it. Let's go see me. Let's go see me.

Valencia is pretty good too, but a lot of folks might not know where Valencia is. I kind of, I understand where you're, why you landed on me. Same bros. Same vibe. You know, they all got the trucks. They all have the glasses that look like they were ripped off of the transformer.

They all tuck the ears in the hats. That's crucial. That's crucial. What else is the bro move that you're, that you're bringing to, to the screen now?

Oh, I got, I got the soul patch. Okay. I wear Dickie's shorts, Vans, high socks, high white socks, Dickie's shorts.

I'm not going to be able to go to that part of this city now without thinking about the high socks. Yeah. And also in, in everyone's a cop in Simi Valley. That's kind of right.

Yeah. Everybody's everybody's a cop and everybody has a boat that is parked outside of their house. I have seen that to their truck, whether or not they're going to the lake, they're pulling a boat. Just, just to pull a boat.

Just cause just cause, you know, where are you headed work, but boats, but I have a boat. No, I've seen, I've seen a lot of that driving around Simi Valley as I did a lot of last, last year when my, my son was going through travel ball, a lot of travel ball games up there in Simi Valley. I thought you were going to see when my son was becoming a cop. Definitely.

No, no, no. He's, he was just 12 at the time. Does that disqualify him?

He's stardom young out there. Jimmy Tetro here on the Rich Eisen show. You just sat down and told me about your recent travels.

Yes. What, what, what, what's, what's been the Jimmy Tetro itinerary of late? Well, you know, I know this is a sports show, so I was just letting you know that I went from, I went to Okinawa, Japan.

What are you doing there? For the deaf Olympics. My brother is the team captain of the USA deaf volleyball team. So world championships were in Okinawa, which I'm sure you all knew.

And the Olympics are in Tokyo next year. So they had to qualify and all that. Okay.

Yeah. How'd he do? They did all right. I think they, they just, they just won their last two games. They just beat India and then they beat France. They lost to Turkey, lost to Italy, but they've won the last two games.

I think they're already in the clear to qualify for the Olympics. What's your brother's name? His name is John. So you went to, to support John Tetro? John Tetro. Okay. To try and qualify? John.

Okay. I think we should eventually buy a Jimmy John one day. I think that's a goal.

I think we should just, I think we should just have one at least. So you went from there to where? Went from the deaf Olympics in Okinawa straight to the beer Olympics in Nashville. Bit of a different vibe. You went to the different vibe? Yeah. I'd say it was a little different. You went, you went with the boys is what you're saying?

I was busing with the boys. Yes. Wow. Okay. Yeah.

All right. So how did you perform in the beer Olympics? I could have done better. I could have done worse. I think a lot of these guys, there's, there's NFL linemen there.

And when it comes to chugging beers, that's, you know, that's the peak. Yeah. Did you do any training? I didn't. No. Well, I've been training my whole life, but no, I did, I did.

I did okay. I think, you know, you start with like the boot chug, which they were, I mean, it took me like 38 seconds or something. And like Taylor did it in five. I saw Taylor won it, right?

He won the, he won the boot chug. I saw that. They clearly practiced. Well, I think they've also been preparing their whole lives as well.

They might just have different life experiences than you, Jimmy. Yeah, that's true. But yeah, we did okay in the, in the, in the beer chug. And then we moved on to flip cup and beer pong where we were able to do some damage. But yeah, by the end of the day, it was, it was I was, I was ready to go. Like leave. Go where? Where were you? After day one? Well, it was only one day.

It started at 11 a.m. went till like six. Seven hours of drinking. Seven hours of drinking. What's the, what was the beer of choice?

It was Coors, I believe. Okay. The full, the full blast or light?

I think, I think, I think light. Oh, no. Okay.

Unleaded. Okay. Okay.

Yeah. Coors, full blast. I'll take three full blasts, please.

Hey, by the way, I think I just gave them a great idea. The Coors full blast. You can make a commercial off of that.

You can do all that. You know, one of those beer commercials, boom, full blast, you know? Yeah.

Okay. So what was your strongest event? It was probably beer pong.

I thought we were going to, I thought we were going to potentially win in beer pong. But we did lose to, we lost to David Bakhtiari and his partner, who he's also a well-known beer drinker. Who was your partner?

My partner was Christian Pierce, who I wrote the Real Bros of Cine Valley. Okay. Yes.

So this was part of a promotional tour as well. Yeah. Yeah. Did you write this off? Did you write this off?

Can you write it off? Oh, the whole thing? Yeah, of course.

Right off the Beer Olympics? Yeah. Cause you're, you're, you're there to promote. We're there to promote. We did a couple podcasts. There you go.

Yeah. I went straight from, straight from Okinawa to the podcast. Did you, did you go on the bus? I went on the bus straight from, straight from Okinawa to the bus. So tell me what the bus is like, you know, just for somebody who's been invited to be on the bus. I would, I'm on day, what day is it now?

720 something. You know that they're, they, you know, years ago, are you aware of my relationship with Bussing with the Boys? So Taylor Lewan at the 2019 NFL draft in Nashville, Tennessee came on this program and said he was starting a new podcast. I'm like, what's it called? It's called Bussing with the Boys. And we're going to do it on a bus. And I'm like, fantastic.

I would love to be on it. He goes, you're done. Like I'm like, fine, just let me know when you're in LA. He goes, no, no, no, we're doing it in Nashville. I'm like, but you're on a bus. Like when the bus is coming out to LA, I thought it would travel. And he goes, no, no, no, there's no motor on the bus.

And I told him that was the dumbest idea I've ever heard of. Yeah. I also thought the bus would be a little more mobile.

You thought that too, right? But they said it's, it, it doesn't move. It doesn't move. It doesn't have an engine.

It doesn't have an engine. That's the, that's that, which is the first thing you need to have something move. Yeah.

Right. So, um, I said I would come on the show and I'm trying to be a principled man, because I'm a man of principle that I would not appear on this program until they had a motor on the bus. I actually like that stance. That's my stance.

And it's been my stance. And then they, uh, did you meet Jack McPherson there? Did you meet Jack? He's, he's, he's one of their guys on, on their staff.

He does a lot of their social media. Yeah. They told Jack that he would, he would, if he could post one photograph of me on their Twitter handle at bus and WTB, is that what it is? Okay. Uh, and, and keep that up every single day.

And then when I finally appeared, and if he didn't miss a day, when I finally appear on this pod, they would buy him a Chevy Silverado. Whoa. And he has been posting every single day. Yeah. Today is yesterday was seven 34, seven 34, not posted today's photo yet, but he basically, he used to go into the Google archives. Now he's just like pulling up videos and taking screen grabs.

This one's old, actually from the super bowl in San Francisco. And they're getting more and more aggressive because they're getting more and more like my eyes are closed. It's getting aggressive. Yeah.

Do you think you might, are you considering caving on your one ask? Um, the only thing I will allow is that I am wide open if I'm in the area to be on that pod. Well, the problem with getting to Nashville is that you have to go to Okinawa first.

And that's like, you know, you're the only one who did that. I don't know if that's the pretty popular, uh, circuit. Is there an Okinawa the summer circuit? Is there an Okinawa to Nashville direct? No, it was Okinawa to Tokyo, to Atlanta, to Nashville.

Two changes to get to the beer Olympics. That's commitment. Jimmy, did they give you something for that level of commitment?

You know, they didn't. What the hell? Well, I got a gift bag. What's in the, what's in the beer Olympics gift bag.

What was in that? Can you say, uh, I can say, yeah, it was a couple of t-shirts and, uh, some stickers. Stickers? Yeah.

And I do it for the stickers, Rich. Were they scratch and sniff? All right. So Big Cat has said he's retired from drinking. So who was the least impressive? Who was the most impressive consumer of the beer? It's ironic that he said that because I would consider him in the midst of the most impressive, his beer, his beer chug of the boot was like eight seconds.

I believe that's fast. So you, you, are you surprised coming away from the beer Olympics that big cat says he's retiring? Does that surprise you? I don't think he's retiring. I think when did you talk to him about this yesterday? He tweeted it yesterday.

Yeah. That's a classic thing to say the day after the beer Olympics, give it a week. He'll be back.

Will Compton claims that he's on day two of a hangover? Well, I was there. I believe that.

Okay. Was he, was, where, where did he rank in this whole process? He was gone pretty early on, but he still won. You know, they still won the, oh, so they're, they're functioning drunks. Yeah. But it's a little, isn't it a little suspicious that, uh, oh, are we saying this was rigged?

I'm not saying rigged. It might, it might smell of collusion. By the way, that's a great fantasy team name, the smell of collusion.

And that's in our, in our fantasy league, we've had a couple iffy trades and now anytime anything happens, the whole league just starts collusion. Who's in that league? Do we know anybody?

No one you'd know. More, just more bros have seen me Valley. I have a college league and then I have like my LA friends league. And which one do you want to win the most college league? Well, the LA league is, they actually have been going neck and neck for, for the final prize, the money prize, you know, cause they, they raise them and now it's just kind of doing that.

No, but there's usually one that because of either history or people that you, that you would take, doesn't matter the, the actual financial gain. I'm like, I care about, it's starting to become equal because I've won. I've gotten, I've gotten second, like three times in both leagues, but I hadn't won. And it's tough. I mean, we're on like year 12 of both leagues.

It's tough to not have one championship. To get so close. Yeah.

And yet so far, kind of like. Do you remember when Alvin Kamara had that game on Christmas day where he scored six touchdowns? It was against you, right? That was against me.

I remember that. I lost by five points. Alvin Kamara scored 65 fantasy points. I was up by 50. I was up by like 60, 55.

See now here's the thing is when I went against Kamara that day, it was over before it. So you, you thought you were home free. I was, I was already. Oh, I remember that.

I had it in the bag. I was up. I mean, one guy playing, I'm up by like 55.

He scored 60. Are you kidding me? I'm still mad about it.

Yeah. This year I was, I made my fantasy finals for the first in the league. I really want to win.

I made it for the first time in, in, in a long time, in years. And I went up against David and Joku on Thursday night football to kick off the week, had a hundred yards and a couple touchdowns by the second quarter against the jets. And when I spent the next two days lamenting that, but then by Saturday's games, I thought maybe there's a chance.

And then CD lamb went for 200 yards the lines before halftime of that one. That's that's, you know, but these are the things that when you say that everybody, I don't know, fantasy bad beats are just, it's one of those, you just shrug it off because everybody's had them. You know what I mean? What's your fantasy team name? No, it's, it's in the, in the poker league, it's you donkeys.

Cause I'm playing against a bunch of donkeys. And then for the other league that we do here, it's, it's things that people say into a microphone, whether I do it or Chris does it, or TJ does it, or a guest does it. Like you just said, what did, what did you say? Smell of collusion or something like that? We write that down. Like that's, that's now a candidate for us.

I'd be honored if you use smell of collusion. What did we just have recently that we would rip the knob off on it? Cause it was a new clubhouse leader.

Oh yeah. Pete Fairbanks of the Tampa Bay Rays. He's a closer. What did, what did he say about one of his all encompassing type of stuff? He said after he blew a save, it was an all encompassing type of suck. Oh, that's a good name.

And the way he said it, it was really just like, I literally have hundreds of these. You have to tell Jimmy how the name is picked though. Oh yeah.

And then at the very end, Paul Rudd comes on and he decides which one we use. Oh, okay. Yeah.

We created a bracket for Paul and then he kind of decides. Wow. Yeah. Yeah.

All right. Like Nathaniel Hackett Bloodsport. I don't even know what that is. I've been the New England Patriots for like eight years now. That's your fantasy team? Yeah, the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots. Yeah.

Okay. And what's the, is the logo of the, of the, the minute man or what is it? It's yeah, it is. It's, it's, there's one on there. It's like a black skull and crossbones. It has, it looks a little, a little Patriots looking.

I don't know if the Kraft family would approve of that. I just want to switch the name, but I feel like I gotta, I gotta get the name on the trophy before I move on. I think so. You gotta hang in there. You gotta, you gotta, you gotta win with the, with the downtimes still being part of your psyche, man. You gotta do it.

You gotta exercise the demons. All right. So just to recap, you don't think big cats retiring. Absolutely not. Okay. Taylor Lewan was the one who could handle his, his alcohol the best. It's extremely impressive.

Okay. What he's able to do out there. And, and it's nice inside that bus. It's a good, or is it tight? What is it inside the bus? It's a little tight, but it's got a nice ambiance. It's um, would be nice if the bus could drive, but, uh, you know, it's gotta, I understand why they're not going to just switch it over. There's way too much decor in there. Look at that. It's kind of like your fantasy team name. You can't get rid of it. You gotta win with it. Um, and then there's the new Roku original film that we've been talking about.

It's called the real bros of Simi Valley, the movie exclusively on the Roku channel, Friday, July 5th. It is great to see you, Jimmy. It's been too long, but, uh, and by the way, you don't strike me as jet lagged at all. I appreciate that. I, cause I, it's hitting me.

So LA, Okinawa to where, to Atlanta, to Tokyo, to Tokyo, to Atlanta, to Nashville, back to LA, Nashville to LA direct at least. Yeah. Very good. Uh, Jimmy Tetro, everybody, uh, at Jimmy on Instagram at Jimmy Tetro on Twitter.

I would say so. Why? Why did you do it? Just trying out a new bat booster package that I was working on this year. For me, though, is is literally like, would you rather live and die?

Would you rather die and never live? So when I jumped to the first time, everybody started like cheered and yelling. I was like, okay, that's pretty cool. And then I did it the second time and I heard his word El Salvador, El Salvador. And I didn't know what that means. I left that one day. And then I started hearing that through the streets. And I was like, okay, whatever.

And came back the second day, did it again. And they stopped the music and everything. They just started yelling in the stands to you, to me, like me.

Now, I'm a football player here in the States. Sure. Correct.

Yes, sir. They don't know me from Adam House. Josh.

Josh Norman is not out there in Pamplona else. I get there. Yeah.

And they started sharing that name. So I'm like a hero in Spain, almost not even back here. Let me still hold on a second is bananas.

Let me get this down so I can use this on on any host of shows this NFL season. El Satador. Yes. It's like the jumper. El Satador. Like the matador is like the jumper.

So I would love just one second in my life to have the words El Satador chanted to me. I love it. Fun stuff. I miss Josh Norman.

I miss him. What's he up to? I don't know.

Good question. Google it. Thanks. Back on the Rich Eisen Show radio network, sitting at the Rich Eisen Show desk, furnished by Grainger with supplies and solutions for every industry. Grainger has the right product for you.

Call clickgrainger.com or just stop by. Let's go to the phone lines. Gabriel in Washington State has been hanging on for a while. What's up, Gabriel? Are we on? Yeah, you are on. Are we on the air?

It's Rip Eisen. What's up, pal? How are you?

Chris Brockman, TJ Jefferson, Jay Kelly. How are you guys doing? I feel like the Yankees with the roll call from the bleachers right there. Fantastic. We got about three minutes left in the segment.

What do you got in mind here, Gabriel? Well, I was hoping to play the win-loss game for the Seattle Seahawks. All right, we can do that. Last year when I started listening to you guys, Lena Kimes was the only Seahawks that did the win-loss and so this year I was going to make it a point to be the first Seahawks player or Seahawks fan to call in.

Well, unfortunately, you're a little late for that, but if you still want to do it, we can give you the music and we can get it done. Dave in Seattle already went. He went 11 and six for your team. Let's see what you got. Let's get the music going on. This is Gabriel in Washington State. Hit it, starting against the Broncos.

What do you have? That's a win. All right, at the Patriots. That's another win. Home for the Dolphins. Mike McDonald's defense last year shut the dolphins down.

I'll take that. All right, now you're 3-0 in Detroit on a Monday night. Seahawks, it's been a Big 12 track meet. It has been.

It has been. But beating this team three times in a row is kind of hard, so that's a loss. Okay, home for the Giants. That's another win. Bounce back, four and one Thursday night. Home against the Niners. Splitting against the Niners this year. I'm taking the win at home. All right, five and one at the Falcons. Let's go.

Keep going. Cross-country trip. That's a long trip. That's a loss.

You had momentum. Five and two, home for the Bills. Home for the Bills. I think the Bills, their roster looks quite a bit different this year.

Not as tough. That's a win. Six and two, home for the Rams. Back to last year, the Rams, they're always pesky and they kind of have our number. The Rams did go toe to toe with Mike McDonald's defense.

I hate to say it, but the Rams get it. Six and three off the bye at the 49ers. That's a loss. Six and four, home for the Cardinals. That's a win. Seven and four at the Jets.

If the Jets are healthy, that's a loss. Seven and five at the Cardinals. That's a win. Eight and five, home for the Packers. Well, that's a win. Nine and five, home for the Vikings. Another win. Ten and five at the Bears on a Thursday night. I think that's a loss. Ten and six at the Rams. That's a win.

All right, he's won 11 and six too. There you go. Well done, Gabriel in Washington, D.C. I think with the attention to detail that Mike McDonald is going to bring to the Seahawks, he's going to benefit them greatly this year. A lot less penalties, be able to keep the momentum, keep the defense off the field rather than on the field with legal hands to the face, pass interference, that kind of stuff.

Just big momentum killers. And then Ryan Grubb's offense, I think you put DK Metcalf in the Roma Dunesay role. You got JSN in the Jalen Polk and then Tyler Lockett is going to be looking like Jalen McMillan. Don't forget Jake Bobo, Gabriel.

Come on now. I love Mo Bobo. Mo Bobo, thanks for the call. Gabriel in Washington, everybody.

Well done. Good finish. Gotta love the win-loss game. We got more time for that tomorrow. Oliver Platt of the Bears on tomorrow, for crying out loud.

Akbar Banja-Biamillah is in the studio. Should we have him do a win-loss game? That'll be a hot mess. Raiders?

Yeah, somebody. For sure. For sure.

And then there's all of us. It's a What's More Likely Friday. TJ's got a top five. I'm going to have a top five. Do you have a top five, TJ?

Because you'd like to talk about it. What? Mystery top five. Mystery top five.

Did I miss that? That'll wrap up this edition of the program. Every story eventually comes to an end this June.
