So much going on in the world of free agency. Tua on the move. Looks like he's going to wind up in Atlanta by the end of the day. That's not. Yet been made official.

Malik Willis is to his replacement in Miami.

So Miami's the most aggressive. On Free Agency Monday, the Ravens were the most aggressive, leading into the weekend by flipping two firsts. To Baltimore for Max Crosby. The Raiders are using all their cap space in a hurry. They went ahead and landed the biggest piece from the offensive line available.

Tyler Lindebaum is going from Baltimore to Vegas to be the center for Fernando Mendoza. Lots going on. With you, at 844-204-Rich being the number to dollar. Chris Brockman, I can tell. Are you getting twitchy over there?

Is there something new? Yeah, I'm getting twitchy. We got two breaking news.

Okay, that's what it's all about. Go ahead and hit it. Hit it. Hit it. Hit it, please.

Hit it, please. Here it comes. And Maria is seen. Breaking news. What do you got over there, Chris?

Let's go running back first. We just mentioned him as one of the names to watch. Travis ETN has a new home, the New Orleans Saints. Will be his new employer.

Okay. Let me think it one at a time right here.

Okay, do it. Before you go on to the next one. I know where you're going to start.

Well, hold on a second. Travis ETN going there again. They said he's from Louisiana, and so it's important for him to be closer to home, which is good for him. Um for the floor-de lead on the side of his helmet. in a uh fr in the French quarter?

Will he be known as Travis Steve. True. Um we were Etienne is French for Stephen. Ah, I did. Did you never know that?

I took French and I didn't know that. Dude, Etienne is Stephen in French.

So, Travis Stephen is coming home. How about that? I'll tell you this, man. I'll tell you what, man.

So, Kellen Moore's got a terrific player in his offense. Yeah.

Okay. What does this mean for eighth overall, man?

Well, it means they also, like the Chiefs, don't think Jeremiah Love is going to getting to them. Yeah.

Because the teams at eight and nine now have all the mock drafts going into the combine Saying that Jeremiah Love is, there's no way he's getting past the Saints to get to the Chiefs.

So all those. Mox that had Jeremiah love going to the Chiefs at 9. Forget it. He's going to wind up at 8. And now, both teams get in the free agent market and get running backs, which means I think everybody's knocking around doors.

and chitter chatter about Jeremiah Love, he's not getting past the Commanders at seven. He's not getting past the Titans at four, who just signed Wandell Robinson.

Okay. So Wandell Robinson winds up there. Um And four years, 70 million from Tennessee.

So the Giants knew he wasn't going to stick around there, that he would be too rich for their blood. And um and they would have to supplement that somehow. But the way I'm taking the Travis Etienne is The Saints and the Chiefs today have gone into the free agent market in a considerable way for running backs, and you're not paying those guys. At that position, the amount of money that they're going to pay them only to draft a rookie who 1 million percent is going to be the engine of your running back. Offense.

Period. End of story, and sometimes even the wide receiver market. could get affected by somebody like him too, because he's going to catch passes.

So that's the way I'm taking that. Bit of news that Travis Etienne, Travis Steve is coming to New Orleans to wear the Florida Lee on the side of the helmet. I'm all for it. And the Chiefs are taking the Super Bowl MVP and Kenneth Walker the third at ninth, and Jeremiah Love coming off that combine. That he went into with people thinking he's going to last all the way to the bottom of the first third of the first round.

And that's just not going to the league. This is the league saying that's not happening. Everybody saw what we saw. The Titans at four. Which means that The Cardinals are sitting there at three.

They just signed. A running back themselves. But they have been mocked taking alignment. is they just went ahead and signed Tyr Algier at three.

So that's Monty Osenfort also saying, hey, everybody, if you like this kid so much and you think the Titans are going to take him at four, we're open for business at three. Commanders at seven. Giants at five, Browns at six. Where is Jeremiah Love going to wind up now? And do the Cardinals just let him fall?

Uh again The team the team's third, eighth and ninth overall just went into the free agent market at running back, which means they're not going to draft Jeremiah Love. He's not going to do that. It's just that's just bad roster building there. And I understand that you could sit there and go, wait a minute. Jeremy Marlowe's better than all of them.

Why can't they split the rock? He's just a rookie. But you don't You don't build from the running back position out in the NFL. You just don't. That just doesn't happen.

So the Titans are sitting there at four. They get Wandale Robinson for Cam Ward to go along with the rest of the wide receiver room. I'm just wondering, is Wandell Robinson bald? Mm-hmm. Did they just break the mold there?

Great question. Or did they just co-coaches? Is what it is? Yeah.

For players, they don't care. Not ball.

Okay. Unless they have like some Yankees type rule, Rich, where you got to come in for training. Good one. No hair. You got to have a clean shave.

Good one. Well, no Robinson just turned 25. I'm wondering a fifth overall is now a a Carnell Tate situation for the Giants. Could be.

So, pop it back up there.

So, you're going to go. Mendoza. Jets are going to be one of the defenders, right? It's going to be Reese, Bailey, or Styles. And the Cardinals were at three.

Did they need Mawanoa that badly in their offensive line? Do they do that? Which means the Titans have A whole host of players there. And do they go Jeremiah Love there for Cam Ward? What a choice that would be to stick Cam Ward with Jeremiah Love and go to work.

In the AFC South, that way.

Now we're talking, right?

Now we're talking.

Well, certainly with ETN leaving. Um For the NFC South. Wouldn't Tam Ward and Jeremiah love automatically be The more dynamic quarterback, running back position if Daniel Jones doesn't come back in the division. Right? In the division.

Texans have C. J. Stroud along with their new Running back room, right? Mm-hmm. I mean, it's an interesting choice because eight and nine just basically raised their hands and declared, we don't think he's getting down on it.

Yeah, yeah. We're out. He's not we can't get him. And they're not trading up to go get him. Right.

Where I imagine it's going to get really expensive. What about the Giants saying Scataboo, who's apparently booked on our Wednesday show. We're getting cam final. Excellent. We've been knocking on his door for some time.

How about he's the knuckles to Jeremiah Loves Sonic? I love that too. I don't like that personally. Because you want you want Scatterboo getting it twenty five times a game? No, I don't want the Giants to have those two.

Oh, I see. I'm just talking outside of all that. By the way, after the Giants just sign for sign as A likely. I like that a lot. It does kind of make sense.

Or do you add Tate? To You add hold on a second. You had Tate. to Malik neighbors Along with Likely and Theo and Cam. Scatterable.

And Tyrone Tracy's still there. And Tyrone Tracy's still there. And he's your son. That's your. That's your duo.

And you could supplement later on in the draft at running back. All the above. You know, you could get potentially at the top of the second round. Um Love's teammate from Notre Dame. Who looked great at the Combine, too?

I remember I was telling you that, Brockman? That dude. Yep. Unbelievable. Money in for ATN, four years, $52 million.

Yeah, that's them declaring Jeremiah Love's not getting to us. And we're not trading up to go get him. We're going to bring Travis Steven to his maison. By the way, good day for running backs, Richen. By the way, thanks for the smirk there, Jason.

Thank you. It really meant a lot to me. Even though I didn't need that, I'm just happy with myself. Do you know what Taison means? No.

It means home. Home, house. Ah. Yeah.

May, remember a few years ago when people acted like the running back positioned themselves. That's what we're saying. Good day for running backs. Atien gets four for 52. Walker, three for 43.

Algier, 212. Gainwell, two for 14. You know what I'm gonna thank for that. You Yeah. You pounded the table for running back.

But outside of that, yeah. Saquon doing his thing. Walker winning MVP. Hold on, but Saquon doing his thing. And but before all that, okay, McCaffrey coming back.

Yeah.

Saquon doing his thing. Derrick Henry. Don't forget Derrick Henry, obviously. Also, don't forget Jonathan Taylor. May he rest in peace.

Jim Urson. Remember, he brought him on the bus and basically said, you know, hey, We're j we're all just flecks on the planet. You know, so it's not all about you. And then they pay them. And look what he did this year.

I like it. They're getting their due. James Cook, another one. James Cook. Where the hell would the Bills have been without him?

Probably in the Super Bowl. Who the hell knows? The way that they play. No, but in all honesty. Glad to see it.

Yeah.

One more move: Eagles, Jahan Dotson, going to the Falcons, two years, 15. There you go. All right.

So Falcons making moves. Nice receiver for two of them. Supposedly. Maybe, allegedly. Allegedly.

Reportedly. All right, it's a Monday. Let's do it. Let's do it while we're waiting for more news to drop. Nope.

We didn't do the pod today.

So we're doing it as a segment. Overreaction Monday, old school. Hit it. That was terrible. That was crap.

That was garbage. This place sucks. Overreaction Mondays. Overregion Mondays. On a Monday.

On a Monday. Hey. Everybody good? You guys good? Hey, what's up, Chris?

Great to see you, man. How was your trip, bro? Beard Gang, what's up? How was your trip? It was great.

Thank you for asking. I love being right, Rich Eisen, and I've been saying this for years.

Okay. After the Tua debacle, the days of pain, quarterbacks max contracts because it's their turner over. Uh Over. Oh man, it's still I... I still I still can't I still can't believe it.

I won't see it. We're not going to see it. I can add Tyler to that, too. Tyler and Tua blew it for everybody. Excuse me.

The only way it's going to be over. is if Somebody who's drafted. Top five In one draft, doesn't even get a contract offer. After year three, A fifth year option gets picked up and they let him walk. And they go back into the draft again.

Feels like recording. That they're like, screw it. Year four, you're playing under your rookie contract. And then we're going to just, you know, but before it, we give you your fifth-year option. And then we let you play on that.

Then we don't care. We don't care if you've made up well hold on a second and And The team with that quarterback makes the playoffs In the first four years. And they still stand their ground. And hold. And have to deal with the player maybe not showing up to some OTAs and whatever.

They have to deal with. The turbulence. That will no doubt come. And let him play on a fifth-year option and then let him walk and then go back into the draft and get another one. Then I'll believe it.

Then I'll believe it. Who's going to be that team? The Minnesota Vikings With J.J. McCarthy? Yeah.

He's not he's not getting a max. Does it You know what? By the way, Sick, you need to give this. We got to take your personal feelings. Personal feelings aside, man.

Be honest. It does not appear it's trending in the direction of this dude. Why? Why? Why?

Why? Why? The kid won games this year. It's not like he was inside Halo. We have seen far worse.

First. Cracks. At the position. In the top 10, getting drafted in the top 10? Correct.

We've seen far worse. Josh Rosen was already gone by this point. That is not his fault. He got thrown out behind no offensive line.

Okay. And then a new coach came in and clean house. Him grittying into the end zone, him throwing touchdown passes, this team finishing up. By the way, not even with the they would be, they didn't finish in last, did they? Then why is he not the starter next year?

Why are they going to bring in Tyler Murray? Great question. I don't get it. If you get what, 13 and 14 JJ when he played against Washington and Dallas. Five touchdowns.

But what if JJ wins the position? That's the guy. Holds off Kyler and makes the playoffs. You're going to give him $55 million a year because of that? No, because he's not doing it yet.

Well, he would be doing it. It's his third year. No, you wouldn't. You'd let him go into his fourth year. Right.

Yeah, you would. You'd pick up his fifth-year option. Right. Let him go into his fourth year. Do it again.

We're not there yet. It's close. By the way. Suze who was sitting in your chair last week, you'd have been very, you must have been walking around Hawaii, suddenly standing up straighter, wondering, why do I feel so good about myself? She's like, I don't know.

Like, he's not wrong. He's not wrong about this subject matter. How is he wrong? He's right. And so you are, these, the fact that we've got a glut of Kyler and Tua.

Yeah.

Like, we haven't seen this before. Caps getting eaten because the cap, cap hits mean eating $100 million. Crazy. It's a full course meal. Yeah.

So, so, yes. Um, Yes, cap's getting bigger.

So you're somewhat able to absorb the hit more. But I just gave you the scenario I need to see first.

So, this is an overreaction. Great start. What else you got?

Alright, the deal finally went down. Sergei J. Felly, Max Crosby out of Vegas, going to Baltimore. And you know what? He's going to shine.

Max Crosby's going to lead the AFC North in sacks this year. Hmm. Dude, come on. Overreaction. It's an overreaction.

I mean, Miles Garrett still plays in the division, right? For now.

Okay. For now.

Listen, you gotta hear with this guy. Nobody capes for this man and his ability on TV more than me. Maybe some do just as much as I do. And I love Max. I love him.

I love his story. I love how he represents. I love it all, okay? Um but There's a guy who just set the league record in sacks. for one of the worst teams ever.

And one would think the Browns are going to be better. I shouldn't say that, because the floor is. Is it Can't get much deeper.

So Overreaction, what else you got? His career best is 14 and a half, which is like Miles Garrett playing only two-thirds of the season. I don't know. Miles.

Okay. Sam's throwing it out there.

Okay. Okay. Tennessee making moves, right? I think they're going to take Jeremiah Well, they just got Wandell Robinson. They got a whole bald coaching staff.

Cam Ward is going to make the leap in year two. New weapons. And the Titans are going to be in the playoffs. That's an overreaction as well. You don't think they can win that division?

Um. Dude, the Jaguars played outstanding football. I know what happened. And they just lost one of their best players.

Okay. Bashel Tooten was pretty damn good too when... God bless you. uh wasn't on the field. And I trust that staff in the front office.

What do you think the Jaguars are just gonna fall apart? Oh, I'm saying they could also make the playoffs. Texans, they're there too. Titans. It's still awaiting.

Texans look bad in the playoffs, and the Colts don't have a quarterback. I've got to see it first. This is an overreaction. And I love Sala. I think he can really change things around.

I think he's a culture guy. I think this is great. You add Jeremiah Love to Cam Warden, you know, and Calvin Ridley and Wandell Robinson. It's fun. You know, what they.

Iomanner as well had a really good season. I get it. I see where there's pieces. But making the playoffs, man? Playoffs?

That's correct. Thank you. Talk about what else, Chris? TJ, I'm sorry, dude. Oh, why?

Because the Eagles are going to do something big and unexpected in free agency. Howie Roseman just makes it happen and you know it's coming. You know it.

Well they just lost Jalen Phillips. What's big? What's big? Trading for Miles Garrett. Yes.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. That would be called seismic, not big. They take the picks they're going to get for A.J. Brown and they flip it into Miles Garrett. Boy.

All right.

I don't know. No, no, listen. Would anything surprise you with that dude right there? Not at all. Not at all.

That's correct. Not at all. I'm coming. I'll say that's not an overreaction because I would love to see that. My gosh, I'd love to see it.

That would be crazy. What else you got over there? Another big move from last week: Josh Allen running out of excuses for Josh Allen. Getting offensive weapons, TJ, DJ Moore, to the Bills. He's going to lead the AFC East in TD catches this year.

Yeah.

Garrett Wilson. DJ Moore. Jaylen Watts everybody on his team, huh? Everyone on your team. We have too many good players.

You've got to divvy up the touchdowns. This guy. Not one guy. I don't know that that's an overreaction there, Rich. Let me see what what's DJ Moore's career best in reputable?

I got this. Don't you worry. I got it. I got this. I got this.

Don't you worry. Recently? I got this. DJ Moore is career best in touchdown receptions. He is in fact eighth in his first year in Chicago.

Yeah, man. His first year in Chicago. When Justin Fields was slinging it around to him, Justin. By the way, what's. I mean, is he done?

Justin Fields, he's out there. Is it over? Is he going to get over? Wow. For Justin Fields.

Now, that's an overreaction. Wow. I'm not saying it is. I'm asking a question. No, I still think he's got enough talent and he's still young enough that somebody's going to be like, it's over for him as a starter until he's.

He needs to find like a Mac Jones plan. Wouldn't that be a Darnold plan? Hold on. Wouldn't that be a better Arizona option than Jimmy G or Geno Smith? And a couple of what they just lost.

In tandem, it would be. Or Jake Brisket in him. Yeah.

But how many times? I mean, how many times have some buyer here? We don't think he has a video game addiction. I think his years of making 20 million per. Are over until he's got to get on some sort of a Mac Jones.

you know, graduate school plan, reclamation project. You got another one over there? Oh, I got a couple. I got two.

Okay, good. You know what, TJ? You had the best weekend outside of Cage Brockman? Nobody. Oh, because he lived.

Everyone in Boston who wears green with Tatum back and 100% healthy, the Celtics. NBA title favorites. Meaning Oklahoma City is no longer. Meaning, NBA title favorites. Did you see SGA?

beat the Knicks and then show up uh like he was uh Like he was defending the planet Hoff? He was wearing an Ewok. Like he caught an Ewok, skinned him, put the body on.

Well, he was wearing an Ewok. Rich was wearing the same thing. Yeah, yeah. He didn't. I don't know if you saw that.

That's funny. Really? More than Oklahoma City? Really? Did you watch the games?

Really? I saw the fact that he came back and almost tripled, doubled because Cooper was following it along on his phone every five minutes. Yeah, he was. Yeah.

He almost triple-doubled in 27 minutes too? Yeah.

Man, the time change in Hawaii, man. And I thought, two o'clock. By the way, I thought he'd come off the bench, right? I thought he'd come off the bench. They'd ease him in 10 minutes here, 15 minutes there.

No. 27 minutes, and he almost tripled doubles. He's bad. On the Mavs. Like Cooper Flags watching him.

It was really cute that the Cavs thought they had a chance this year. That was nice. Uh NBA title favorites. How about favorites out of the East? How about Spurs Celtics finals?

You guys good with that? You'd sign for that? I would. Wouldn't you? Wouldn't you want to see Wemby?

What do you mean? And Thunder are coming out the way. By the way, by the way, let me just say this real quick. And I'll end up expounding on this a little bit at some point over the next few weeks. One of the things I love about Wemby is he really cares, man.

Absolutely. Like, regular season games for him are like Kobe level caring. You know what I mean? With you. You know what I mean?

Like, he's got like Max Crosby level caring about regular season games where he is, he's like, he's like emotional. He's on the verge of tears if he loses a regular season game. I love that. The NBA needs more of that. Celtic Spurs tomorrow night.

He's into the all-season. You know what? The NBA needs also more of this. Put it up. There it is.

I don't know what that is.

Now you got to ask yourself who wore it better. Got to make sure that the. Or do they put you here for you? By the way, I was watching Empire Strikes Back with Taylor this weekend. What is the price tag on that?

What it looked like.

Something out of my honestly, that's what it looked like. I was Han Solo looking for Luke after dark. Last one: WBC, not sure if you guys have checked it out this weekend. It's been awesome. It has.

Crowds have been crazy. Awesome. The energy, I love it. It's so much. And, guys, neither USA or Japan are winning this thing.

Dude, I look at the DR and I'm like, how do you beat them? You can't. Tatis Grand Slam today. Yes. J-Rod bats seventh.

Dude. I don't think this is an overreaction by any stretch of the imagination. These games have been awesome.

So much fun. I don't think that's an overreaction at all. Although, Skeens pitches for Team US 18. Against Scoobel. By the way, how about Scoobel basically, like, yeah, the one and done thing?

I kind of like this. I kind of like hanging around here. I don't know. I mean, I love my teammates. I love Lakeland, Florida, but it doesn't feel like this.

This is big time stuff. Why would he want to leave that? You dummo. Do you think we could get a possible, like, remember it was the Olympics that caused LeBron and Dwayne Wade to like team up in Miami? Right.

I think this is going to be like, oh, Scoobel, I like hanging out with Aaron Judge. Maybe I want to go to the Yankees, you know, tampering going on. I wouldn't mind it by any stretch. You keep playing, Tarek. You keep repping USA while Captain America has a home run in his first at-bat for said team.

All right.

Let's take a break. 844-204, which number to dial. The Dallas Cowboys are making moves back. Oh, I mean, we say we best for last. Come on.

That's not last. That's second to last. It's kind of last because they're a hour. The Rich Eisen Show Podcast. In my line of work, I'm fortunate enough to travel quite a bit covering the biggest moments through the football season.

Go ahead and hit the drop, please. Here it comes. And Maria is seeing breaking news. Chris, have at it. Go for it.

What do you have? Future Hall of Fame wide receiver Mike Evans. His career in Tampa Bay is over after 12 seasons. He is signing. With the San Francisco 49ers.

Wow. Wow. Yeah, he is. Three-year deal for Mike Evans. Ring chasing.

Wow Money chasing, ring chasing.

Well, he's already more ring chasing.

Well, he's ring chasing. I mean, let's be honest here. before he's done. Ring chasing doesn't mean that you You don't have one. Yeah, but people usually assign that to people who don't know.

Okay, then my apologies. If that is the case, then it's okay. Mike Evans, man, man, the NFC West is stacked. Loaded. Defending champs.

And the The second Place team in the NFC. That has Devontae Adams, Mike Evans. Puka, Jackson Smith and Jigba, Cooper Cop. Christian McCaffrey, who's really one of the best pass catchers in the NFL. Marvin Harris, undeniable.

Right. Trey McBride. Yeah.

Wow. Odds are You're going to be choosing somebody in your fantasy draft in the first two rounds from the NFC West. Multiple players. Multiple. I got my eyes on three of them.

And I'll just say this to Buccaneer fans: I'll extend the same thing to you that I extended to you. Jay Felly earlier. And uh Raiders fans earlier about Max Crosby leaving. Um I'm sorry. I know this is going to hurt.

This hurts. This hurts probably everybody in that organization. Mike Evans is going to have his name in the honor ring. At the end of the day, He will be closely associated with the Tampa Buccaneers for the rest of his days. And when he goes into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as you know, it's not the same thing as Cooperstown.

They don't. Have a hat or a helmet or a jersey on. It's just in the plexiglass holder that. Yeah.

The bust rests on. on your shelf. He he's been Part and parcel of being a Bucs fan for a dozen years, as you pointed out, Chris. He's going into the Hall of Fame. He almost had another thousand-yard season again.

He has trouble staying healthy for all seventeen, I get it. But the Niners need him. The Niners need him, certainly with Kittle being out, right?

Well, yeah, obviously Brandon Ayuk's not going to be on the team.

Well, Ayuk's long. Ayuk's been long, long gone. I understand, but that's an uh, you know, a receiving. Right. I don't know how the hell they get.

What do they do? What are they going to do?

Well, he's going to be cut. He had his T's voided. No, no, what I'm just saying is I guess they're By now, we'd have heard the news what they're going to do with him. Maybe they're trying to trade him. I don't know.

Yeah.

But great move, man. Great aggressive move. Hey, Brock Purdy, that's friggin' Mike Evans out there, dude. And he's finally, finally going to give somebody else a try. And And he's and he's and by the way, Nader's got to feel good 'cause he I'm sure he had his choice, right?

Yeah, absolutely. I'm sure he had his choice and he chooses them. No doubt. You know what I mean? And he chooses them.

Yeah, they still have Mickey Pearsall is still there. Yep. I don't know what that means for him, but. No, I mean, what it means for him is he's still on his rookie deal.

So you think Mike tries to go and buy number 13? I was just literally going to ask: who is 13? Brock Perley's right.

Sorry. Yeah.

Geez. Yeah.

Yeah, he's not getting that. He might. What was he in college? I think he was always. Trying to remember him and Mayenzell, what number he was wearing.

He was 13 in college. My French, by the way. Yeah, 13 in college. Did you curse and I missed it? No, I dropped the J word, so I shouldn't do that.

People f um rightfully get offended when it's used, so my apologies. Yeah.

But yeah, yeah, yeah. 13. It's pretty. He's going to have to choose a new number, whatever it is. Man, who's got the best offense in that division?

Yeah Okay. I say the Rams, man. It's okay. It's the Rams. With all due respect to the defending.

Super Bowl champs, I think they'd even give it up. They would rightfully say they've got the best defense. But I even think they'd give it up to the r You ask the Seahawk fan under sodium pentothol. Right. You'd ask him that question.

Yeah, well they don't need a running back. I mean Oh. They just have Charbonnet now. Woo! Yeah, could you imagine Mike Evans shows up and he goes, you know what?

Brock, 13 is your number. I'll just take 16. All right, I'll take eight. Brock Purdy wore 15 in college. There's no way.

Jawan Jennings is not expected to return. How about this one? Not expected to return? Great question. Great, great, great, great.

Great question. Great question. This is great. By the way, I think this question I'm about to ask is great. All right.

Let me test your power. Yeah.

of superstition. If you're the Niners. You're the Niners. You're in charge. Yes.

You're in charge. You would You wouldn't Allow? Brock Purdy? To change his number? Yeah.

Clearly he's not superstitious. He wears 13.

Okay. So he's going to be like, I don't care. You want 13? I'll wear a new number. Only 13 to ever win a Super Bowl.

Excuse me. Kurt. Excuse me. Yep. Excuse me.

You would I if I'm Jed York, I stand in the way saying no way. Why? Because Brock Purdy has been one of the greatest lucky strikes in the history of the draft. And you're going to let him suddenly change his number so Mike Evans could feel better? Really?

Hell no. Nuh uh Whatever Rich Eisen says is true. Thank you. That's Brock himself agreeing. I don't think I'm going to step in and stop it if he wants to.

Oh, I would stop it. No, we're not doing anything like that.

Sorry, Mike.

Sorry. Sorry. You've got to choose something else. Don't even bother my quarterback. Warren Sapphire.

And I listen to Warren. He would have to buy out because in the NFL, you have to buy out the jerseys if you're going to change your number. I think Mike Evans has it. Guys, listen to this stuff. Certainly, with this.

No, I mean, I mean, Brock Burton. Before you chime in here. Warren Sapp told me years ago. That he said, he said, there are two people you are not allowed to mess with in my locker room. My quarterback and my kicker.

Do not talk to them. Do not talk mess to them. Do not bother them. Do not disturb. Do not disturb.

Yeah.

Do not disturb. Yeah.

Sorry you were saying about this subject. How? You just said that Jawan Jennings might be gone. Right. Jawan Jennings wears number 15.

That's what I said. You know who wore number 15 in college at Iowa State? TV? Rock Purdy? I just said that a minute.

Oh, I thought I didn't know you said he wore 50. It's all good. No, no, I'm letting him tell me. No, no, you tell me. Like, it's breaking news.

Here's the drop. Hit the drop. I didn't know that you say he's worth 50. I did. Yeah.

It's okay. It's okay. I miss that part. It's perfect. I'm telling you, that's what I mean.

It works out. TJ's IC. Do not mess with my kicker. or my quarterback. Brock Purdy stays like before.

Mike Evans, what's Mike Warner? What do you were in high school? Can you look that up?

Well, like we said, 15 high school. You know what I mean? We know 16 and 8, those are not available. What if he wants 80? 80.

Yeah, right. All right, I'll take 80. I'll take 81. What else? Uh I think you wore thirteen again.

Oh my god. All right.

That's college when they do. The Bears making moves. We've got a Bears move.

Okay, hold on a second. Let's get the breaking news drop. It's too good. Here it comes. And Maria is seen.

Devin Bush to the Bears. $30 million. All right.

A Michigan Wolverine moving around. It's going to Chicago. Back to Mike Evans, Adam Schefter. The decision to leave Tampa is not about money. Bucks were aggressive in their pursuit.

Let's see. What's it about? Very strong offer. It came down to a desire for a new challenge as Evans enters the last years of his career. He's going to be 33.

Like Listen, short of You know, men in black erasing his memory, they couldn't do anything about. stay in put and and and He wants a new challenge over Um The ability to say I played in one spot my entire career. You know what this is going to be read into is that he believes the Bucs are not Super Bowl ready or worthy. Yeah.

I was surprised. for somebody who obviously is so synonymous with the franchise, but San Francisco, he is gone. What a division. Best of luck to the Arizona Cardinals as they start from scratch. As they start from scratch.

And, you know, and. If it wasn't for the free agency frenzy, I would definitely be talking about my college basketball team right now. That's a good game. I understand that we don't send winners all the time to the next level. Um and I understand that the Dallas Cowboys having issues with their defensive line and right up the middle.

and not being able to get the right mix there for quite some time. Um of the names involved. The four-letter word In Dallas for that, it's taco. Charlton. Could have handed it.

That's the way I'm going. Could have been. I'm not talking about chickening out or Tuesdays. Uh I'm saying Taco Charlton. Yeah.

Didn't work out, man. It did not. Didn't work out. And there's been a revolving door. And last year, out goes Micah because the handshake was the handshake, or it wasn't a handshake, or whatever the hell was going on with Micah.

MACA. MACA. Out he goes. In comes Kenny Clark. Micah.

Middle of the season, the Cowboys are like, you know what, we're going to do? We're going to take some of this Micah stuff and we're going to flip some of that capital for Quentin Williams. Loved it. Not a bad idea. Today, they went back into the Green Bay shopping center, right?

And they plucked Rashawn Gary. Who One can absolutely say. With certainty. Is no taco trolley. This Michigan Wolverine is a different story.

And he has led Green Bay in sacks in three of the last five seasons. He leads the Packers with 46.5 sacks since drafted in 2019. 7.5 sacks in each of the last three seasons. He's one of a dozen players in the NFL with 7.5 sacks in each of their last seasons. Three seasons.

And the um The Dallas Cowboys have had only one player with six or more sacks last year. It was Jadavian Clowney who they plucked. Off the couch. This is what they need. At that position.

Yes, sir. Do you want pass rush? You got your pass rush. Needed it. And he and Kenny Clark know how to work together.

And there's Quentin Williams. Oh, my goodness, TJ. Are they making the right moves here? Beats. Bust the budget.

Bust the budget. Am I wondering? If they're making the right move. Yeah, it seems though, right? We all said that this is what they needed to do.

They had to. Historically horrible defense last year. We had to fortify it. And I'm liking the game so far, man. Am I am I are you picking up what I'm putting down here?

Which is they're making some moves here. There's one more move I'd like to see them make of what, Trey Hendrickson? Oh, baby. Is that who you're talking about? Yes, sir.

But I like it. I like what we're doing. I mean Basically, what they've done here is In the last One would say what?

So since August. Right. Dallas has received, traded away Micah Parsons and a 2027 fourth-round draft choice. Yeah, Fen Picks. And if In return, received a first in this year's draft, a first in next year's draft, Kenny Clark and Rashawn Gary.

Let me ask you this. With each passing day. Does it look better? With each passing day. Couldn't look worse.

I don't know. I like Micah Parsons. Sure, but. When's Micah coming back even? You know what I mean?

Like, anything can happen. I'm just saying it. Just looking at it. They flip Micah Parsons, get two ones. They take some of that capital.

Also. Quinn Williams. I mean, you could add Quentin Williams to this list. Kenny Clark Rashawn Gary, if I told you. If I told you.

What if I told you? What if I told you, TJ? Yes. On the day Micah Parsons was traded, it was a dark day in my life. And you refused to sign this document.

Couldn't do it. The release of fandom. TJ Jefferson, you refuse to do it. It is still a blank line. Oh, nothing to notarize.

You know why? Because we don't have a notary here. Come on, Jefferson. Right? It's still empty.

It's going to stay empty. TJ Jefferson still has not signed it. But if I told you on this day and handed you a pen. And you were like thinking, I'm going to put pen to this paper. Damn, this whole business.

I probably thought about it for a while.

Okay, right? All that. Yeah.

Yeah.

You're going to get at the end of the day A first round draft choice still in your pocket. Rashawn Gary, Kenny Clark, and Quentin Williams are on your defensive line. Your thoughts? Yeah, I'd take a torch to that. You would have agreed to the deal.

Send him. Send him, right? You say send him. At this point, yeah. At that point, I'm just saying.

At that point, you know, feelings were too heavily involved the day it happened. You know, I mean, you know what? You should do it your feelings, what Les Sneed does with this picture. Forget them. To be very blunt.

This is amazing. Yeah.

Because this is the side of the ball you need to figure out. Yes, sir. And they tried for Max Crosby, and when they don't go for it because they don't want to give up two ones for him. They land Rashawn Garry for a fourth? Come on now, man.

Defensive coaching staff in there. Right? Man, it's just. Expectations now, man, but I got hope. And as we said earlier, as a fan, right, Chris, you just want to have some.

All you want is a little hope. The Cowboys allowed the most points per game and passing yards per game in the NFL last year, and I don't think that's going to happen again. It better not. But what they did on offense I think is more repeatable. Dude.

I'm not going to do what everybody thinks I'm going to do. Which is what? You know, flip out and say we're into the Super Bowl. But. You're going to the Super Bowl.

I'm not saying that. I'm not. Listen. Yeah, you are. I'm not saying that.

I'm saying what you're going to be much better. Than we were last year. Oh, that's all he's going to do. That's all I can give you. Bust the budget.

Money for Mike Evans is in. San Francisco gives Mike Evans three years, 60.4. I mean, you know. But it had nothing to do with money? that the bucks were ready to do that too.

Okay. 20 million bucks a year to go finish your career in California. With the San Francisco 49ers and add a second ring. Yeah, but you go to California where the taxes are high. That's okay.
