We'll take some phone calls before we get out of Dodge here, Dodge being New York City, here on this Friday. And we're going to have a little bit of fun, as always. by me looking over the steering wheel, And giving you the other games that I'm looking forward to seeing now that the Thursday Night Football kickoff to an NFL week has begun. And I need you all to hit it. My top five matchups of week 15 presented by Hyundai.

Boom. High five. One, two, three, four, and five. Riches, top five. All right, Jay Felly back in our Los Angeles studios giving my music, my little soundtrack to get me going here.

Once uh Once they get started, it's tough to stop. The National Football League Week 15 got kicked off with a monumental Falcons win in Tampa. on Thursday night football, a huge division game. These are not uh These are not to be taken lightly, these division games that happen. at this point forward, anything can happen.

and number five on my list of other games in week 15. to keep an eye on. Ravens at Bengals. This is it, folks. I would have to think.

If the Baltimore Ravens want a shot at this division, I understand the Steelers can always come back. to the pack. But the Ravens have lost. Two in a row at home. Just ask.

Pamp them, how does that work when you lose two in a row at home in division? They just did it. Their season is now on the brink. The Ravens just did it. They went from six and five to six and seven.

And now Joe Burrow is gonna make his first home start, and not only his first home start since coming back, his first start period since talking about whether he wants to keep doing this anymore, if I want to keep doing this. All eyes will be on Cincinnati to see how Joe Bohra plays. I think he's gonna ball out, quite frankly. And the Ravens have got their hands full. And we've got to see a Lamar of old.

We've got to see a Lamar of old who's accurate with his passes and maybe taking off out of the pocket. That second gear running away from a Bengals defense that. I think it is still susceptible despite how well they played over the last few weeks. It was a 10-point lead in western New York. The Bengals lose that.

Now we're wondering if Joe Burrows lost his. His want to play this game anymore because it's not fun for him. All eyes on Cincinnati for Ravens at Bengals with the Ravens season potentially. on the line number four. All right, you chiefs for Tiggers.

I'm looking at you right over there. Christopher. You don't like being referred to as such. All right, all you chief spatigers, if you have been waiting. For the Kansas City Chiefs.

to finally get theirs. If you have been waiting for the Chiefs... to finally be in a coffin. In a week 15 game. Been waiting a long time.

And have a nail shut. Who's coming with the hardware? And a hammer. And the pine box. But Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers.

It started in Brazil in week one on a Friday night, second game of the season, when the Chargers beat the Chiefs. And now they're going to see each other again. And the it being started was a chief season that has just not gone as well. As hoped or expected. It's been one thing, one battle after another, as they say.

And now the Chiefs. If they lose this one. There is a very feasible scenario in which they are eliminated from postseason play with three games to go.

Now you're going to be talking about Mahomes sitting out games not because you're wresting him for the playoffs. But you're keeping him from harm's way, and what do you... Need him rehabbing an injury for the rest of the season. This is in the ether, folks. When the Chargers show up to Arrowhead.

With Justin Herbert just a few days removed from that win with his broken hand and his infinity glove, as I keep referring to it. Can the Chargers get their 10th win of the season? Keep marching towards maybe winning the AFC West. Keep marching towards even yes, a better win-loss record than last year, and if possible. one seed at the end of the day.

By nailing the conference shut on the Kansas City Chiefs in week 15 at Arrowhead. That's why it's number four on the list. Number three on the list. Whose house is it going to be on Sunday? Ramsey's.

Are you going to the game? Are you going to the game? No. Rich. You're not going either.

I can't.

So, the final game. All right, so those four people in Honolulu Blue in this stadium will know who it's for. Incorrect.

Okay, you gave it to some LA fans? Correct. All right. I didn't. This guy over there.

You with your Dodger hat and your Yankee Dodger hat, your schmecky hat. Lines at Rams. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go.

Gonna be great. I mean. Rams, five days after this one, have a trip to Seattle to kick off week 16. All right. Big stretch.

And the Seattle Seahawks have potentially Phillip Rivers at home.

So Rams need it. Lions really need it. Lions need to keep winning games and hope the Bears lose some games or Just enough. for when the Lions to go into soldier field to stay close enough to the. Bears in that week to 18 game to try and Win that one, sweep the Bears and get in the playoffs.

Just monumental. Talk with Matthew Stafford earlier this week. He's already over the whole, I'm taking on my former team thing. But these teams, it's always fun when they face each other, and it's going to be great in Los Angeles, number two on the list. Keep talking about, hey, who's going to nail the coffin shut on the Chiefs?

It's already shut on them. for their division. They're not winning their 10th straight. division, which means the 11 straight AFC East titles for the New England Patriots. That record is safe.

Unless the Bills keep winning this division. Then eventually, down the road, we'll find out. But who can prevent that from happening on this very day? A week Sunday a week 15 Sunday. and the 11 and 2 New England Patriots.

Are they Ready, willing, and vable to do that. Good job.

Okay, he's fired up. He's fired up. Drake, Drake, May, May. Let's go. Drake, Drake, May, May.

Here we go. This is going to be amazing. Oh, Mikey. The duck boats. The duck boats.

They're like shining them up. They're real nice. I may buy one. Checking the sparkle, but making sure all the oils change. But it's not about hanging division banners.

That's what you used to make fun of the AFC South champion or AFC Central's champion, Indianapolis Golts back in the day. No, no, no. It's just making sure the duck boats are ready for February. This is going to be a fun game coming off the bye. Bills coming off of that big win.

at home against Joe Burrow. They can get to 10 wins and keep things alive in that division. Um, number one, though, is Packers, Broncos. Can't wait. Broncos 11 wins.

What a measuring stick game this is against the team. that could be the one seed by the end of the week. in the uh in the NFC And the Green Bay Packers. who have caught a little bit of fire here. Jordan Loves caught a little bit of fire here.

Here comes the Denver Broncos sack machine. in the Rocky Mountains. Let's go. Packers just played the Bears. They play the Bears next week.

Here comes a big game. They can't. Look at this as a trap game. That's an 11-in-win team. It's one 10-in-a-row.

Can't wait for it. Late window. EBS. Give me the one more if you don't mind, Jay Fellow. One more.

I did not know this. Thank you. That's my boy. That's my boy. That's cool.

All right. One more would be number one. If Philip Rivers starts. Oh, I'd love it. How many times have I said those words?

I love it, Rivers. I haven't said. Honestly, Cold Seahawks is my one more. That's been a while. Cold Seahawks is my one more.

And it would be, you know, under regular circumstances, it might even be on the list, low down the list, because this is an 8-5 team against a 10-3 team. This is the Colts team that, once upon a time, 8-2, had designs on being the one seed in the AFC and potentially being a. a Super Bowl contender. What if Phillip Rivers makes him that? And then there's the Seahawks.

Who need it? Taking on the Rams next week. Very rarely have I done this and have the one more be the team, the game that could be number one overall if one person starts. Tell me, I'm wrong. Am I wrong?

No, there are much better games. The Bills Patriots. Hey, man, we're all talking about it. The Bills Patriots. How many people have talked about it?

Non-stop. That's number one to me. Aaron Rodgers. I can't believe it's happening. Aaron Rodgers was talking about it.

He was asked about: hey, did he ever think there would be another future bust gallery member of his coming out of retirement? to make him the second oldest starting quarterback of a week. He probably said, yeah, it was probably going to be Tom Brady. I always thought Tom Brady would be back. Most interesting game, I'd say.

I think their game. Unbelievable. Mike trying to set up Aaron Rogerson. I'm trying to set up an Aaron Rodgers sound. I know.

Excuse me. I'm sorry. I'm not the oldest guy in the league. Love that. It's pretty incredible, though.

Because he's been out for, I believe, four full seasons, plus this part of this season. Um I was laughing because a couple of my buddies hit me up asking what I would do in that situation, and I said. without missing a beat. I'm retired. I'm staying retired.

So, big credit to Phil. You know, I've been a fan of his forever. I've known him a little bit over the years. I just love the way that he competes and plays. Again, not the most gifted player, but cerebral is all get out.

Hilarious trash talker. And I wish him nothing but the best. I've been a fan of his for a while. I hope he goes out and it's just like riding a bike and he can jump right back into the saddle and I expect him to. Great stuff.

I love that. You know what? Let me just give you this scenario just to finish this thing out. What if? What if I told you?

What if I told you? Phillip Rivers goes on a nice little run. The Colts do make the playoffs. As the five seat. And it's Colts at Steelers, Phillip Rivers at Aaron Rodgers.

Alright, you're uh I'm sold. The combined age of the starting quarterbacks of an NFL wildcard playoff game is 86 years old. Geriatric Bowl. 86 years of age. Let's see.

Let's go. The football gods are laughing right now. They're saying this is entirely possible. And those are my top five matchups, plus one big, huge one more of week five presented by Hyundai. Everybody.

All right, here on the Rich Eisen Show. What do you want to do here? I just went on and on a little bit here, and I want to be on time. for our next guest.

So what we're going to do is we're going to take a break here. And we're going to be on time for our next guest, Derek Brown. And then once we're done with Derek, it's it's you, sir. Ready. It's cold.

A good old-fashioned Mike Del Tufo weather report. You haven't done one of those long time. That doesn't usually mean anything. What's that mean? That's coming.

Yeah, that's coming. Right sideways. That's coming. That's coming here on the Rich Eisen Show.

So basically, Derek Brown and then a hot mess. That's true. That's how we're running. As many of you know, supporting pediatric cancer research is something I care deeply about. That's why I'm proud to share what Hyundai is doing through Hyundai Hope on Wheels.

The Rich Eisen Show Podcast. How dare you? TJ does have back. Figure on the Rich Eisen Show on ESPN Radio, presented by Progressive Insurance. Derek Brown's checking in.

Oh, yes. Checking in. Is he ready now? All right. You're going to mock Derek Brown for bringing food on the plane?

I bet you wouldn't. Why would I? By the way, players, they can just charter whatever they want. Because it's a charter. It's a charter.

Good point. Yeah. I flew back on the Chargers charter this year from Brazil. I was amazing. I just walk on the plane.

It's the best. I just realized you were always sitting in like 1A.

So you not when not when I'm not when I'm on a team charter, sir. No, it doesn't happen. Derek Brown of the Carolina Panthers is joining us here now on the Rich Eisen Show. Good to see you, Derek. How are you, sir?

I'm doing good. Appreciate y'all for having me. Do you bring a sandwich on the plane when you travel with the Carolina Panthers, Derek? Do you bring your own food? On the charter?

Yeah, we definitely eat on the plan for sure.

Okay.

Well, by the way, I'm asking a lineman right now what is what a silly question. How about a si th by the way, let's talk a little football with Derek Brown. Hey, Derek, were you watching last night's Thursday night football game? Yep. Yeah, I got you and see it last night.

Okay.

So were you rooting heavily for the Atlanta Falcons? Yeah, you know, I definitely want to push for the way that's going to be best for us for sure in that situation. But I wouldn't necessarily say rooting for either side.

Okay.

All right. Because why? Because you can't bring yourself to root for another NFC South team, even though it helps you against the NFC South team that they're beating? Derek? Oh, yeah.

I mean, I just think, you know, the competitiveness and all this, you know, I hold that year-round, so it is what it is on that end.

Well, what it is right now is an opportunity. For the Carolina Panthers to keep winning football games. And if you win your football division, I mean, it is that simple right now. Because you have fewer losses than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going into New Orleans. Um are you openly thinking that way?

Right now. Man, you know, I think it's not being in this situation before or 23 getting close to it in that situation where we play the Bucs at the end of the year to be able to see who was going to win the division. You know, I think it's not looking too far ahead, right? Like we got New Orleans Saints this weekend. They just had an explosive win last weekend versus the Bucs.

And, you know, right now we got to do what we got to do to even put ourselves in that position and take care of that stuff next week.

So, I mean, right now, focus on New Orleans through and through.

Okay, so one at a time, I totally understand that. What is your. What's been your feeling around this team, Derek? I was there around this team last year. in Munich.

With you taking on the New York Giants in Germany, and things kind of flipped. In that game, things kind of began to get better for your team and it. It felt like it translated into this season. Is that a fair assessment? Am I missing anything?

Feel free to correct me. No, I think that's a fair assessment. You know, I got to kind of, you know, be a fan of the team last year, especially being out and being hurt and, you know, kind of just sitting around and being able to know what's going on the inside, but also see it from the outside. I sat there and just to take that, to take the things that we were doing. And be able to take him into the offseason on a win.

I mean, you know, being out of play all contentions at the time and then going through OTAs and spring ball. And then, you know, we come out and we started season one and three.

So, you know, that's definitely tough. But I mean we still had that chip on our shoulder.

So I mean to be able to but to be able to Play meaningful football here in December, and it's a blessing. But also, too, I mean, this is what we wanted from the beginning.

So, I mean, now we got to take care of business, and you know, that starts with this week going to New Orleans. One of the things that Dave Canalis told us when we were. meeting together as a broadcast team with the coach. Said that he knew he would know when things are going in the right direction for the team. when the personalities of the players are coming out on the field.

during the game. Would you agree with that? And that it's been happening. for the Panthers. Dark.

Yeah, and I mean, to be honest, I mean, it's been a thing since we've been in camp. I mean, the confidence has been with the guys. You know, we didn't get the results we wanted at first, but I mean, this is like growing pains, right? You get a new team every single year to be able to have the opportunity to be able to put the pieces to the puzzle together. That's what we all look forward to from the time we step on the field to July till now.

So, I mean, this is one of those things that we, you know, we've got ourselves in this situation from the things that we did in July and August. And, you know, nobody ever wavered when we were sitting there one and three. Nobody sat there and got out, you know, specifically saying, hey, like, let's do what we got to do. And coach is the same way, man. He shows up every single day with the same energy.

And, you know, he's one of those guys that, you know, he brings it every single day.

Some days, you know. I'm not the same way. It's one of those some things very much frustrate me. But I mean, you know, Coach Canal is he takes it with a chip on his shoulder and just keeps going, being the same person consistently every single day. What has his message been?

Can you give me some take me inside of a meeting room take me inside of what he's been telling you guys Since jump. Derek. To do our process. Let's not worry about nothing else. Let's be in the moment and let's see what doing our process can get us.

And you know, that's been the message from the day one that he's. You know, he called me when he got ready to take the job here, and you know, that's hey, I want to build a culture where guys can be a part of our culture here at the Panthers and do their jobs every single day while living in the moment. And I mean, he's. Preached that since the day he's been here. And, you know, it's cool to see last year, you know, guys starting to believe it and then guys, you know, taking that and that being the standard this year.

Derek Brown here on The Rich Eisen Show. You've got a comeback player of the year candidacy, no question about it. Where the season-ending meniscus injury in week one of last season that you were referring to. being on the outside and the inside at the same time.

So what about this season is something that You would have If I had told you while you were rehabbing that this would be the season that you're having and your team's been having, what would you have said to me? last year. I would have said, man, that you know, I was in a state of mind where, you know, it was trying to get the name back right. And, you know, seeing things, you know, from inside, when I say like seeing the team, you know, kind of build that bond. I'm like, I would probably tell you, I don't know, but man, I can't wait to be a part of it.

And it's one of those things where, you know, I'm sitting here every single day, and I just kind of see it all. Like, last year. Sitting out of football, man. It definitely made me realize how much I actually love this game. Um, you know, you say you love it until you can't until it's taken away from you.

So, I mean, just being able to sit there and go through every single day of you know, rehabbing and fighting back to be able to be back out there with my brothers on Sunday and be able to play for one another. That was the biggest thing for me. Yeah, and that photograph that we just had up on the screen. Can you walk me through? What led to this?

Massive moment for you, your team, that potentially also could come home and roost for the entire NFC. As you beat the Rams by forcing this fumble that essentially ended the game. with Matthew Stafford and the Rams. Derek, walk me through this moment for you. Man, you know, it was a moment where we were on the field as a defense, and you know, you know, playing a threat like that guy right there, man, he's got so much, you know, knowledge of defense or football in his own.

So, I mean, we were able to dial up a pressure where, you know, Turk Warren got real high on the left side. End up coming around and DJ end up taking the guard, picking the guard's hip. And all of a sudden, like I look up and Matthew Stafford's standing right there.

So at that point, I'm just trying to make the play, do whatever it takes for us to seal this game off and be able to get that win. Any special feeling for you that he's a Georgia legend? Derek? Yeah, you know, I don't really mess with the Georgia guys, but you know, I've had to learn to live with them because of being in the league. You get a lot of guys in here from Georgia.

So. You know, the little uh definitely a little college banter on that and I'm sure. Yeah, I know if you played the Eagles, then you'll definitely be running into a lot of guys from Georgia. That's for sure.

So, what message do you have again? for your fans. For Carolina fans. that obviously have been through a lot. Um waiting.

And seeing what this team has become and what it can be, and the opportunity in front. What do you what do you say to them? You know, we stand with those that sit with us. And we were sitting around here one in three. You know, those that sit with us, we appreciated.

And, you know, that's. And that's that. You know, everybody else, you know, it is what it is how I feel about them.

So, I mean, you know, if you were Laurel through the hard times, then, you know, I hope you get to celebrate these times with us right now. Yeah, and I guess, and again, with your quarterback, that's a time for an Auburn man to have no problem with Alabama as well. With your quarterback, Derek? Interesting. Yeah, definitely having Alabama guy as a quarterback.

You know, you don't really mess with the quarterback too much.

So, I mean, that's one of those things. You know, we have our banter when it comes time for the Iron Bowl. But other than that, I've pretty much let him do his thing, go through the week normally. Yeah, you almost got him. You almost got him.

This year. Yeah, that was a tough one. Definitely certainly. Oh yeah, definitely uh set my house, you know. What's in it?

Every single play. You know, I forever love that school, and you know, hopefully, we get them next year. Yeah. Are you wearing that hat right now? As a matter of fact, am I seeing the top of.

And all of that? Yeah, okay. That's what I figured.

Okay, that's what I figured. Hey, congrats on what's happening in your season. And obviously, you being the Edblock Courage Award nominee for the team as well, that's a serious. Honor. Um the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award as well for Carolina.

And I appreciate your time right here. It's a crucial part of the season. Certainly, as you guys are getting set to go to New Orleans for a monster game that would put you one-up. With three to play and two left against Tampa. Derek, I appreciate it.

And let's stay in touch. Will do. I appreciate you having me on here. You got it. That's Derek Brown, everybody.

Carolina Panthers defensive end right here on the Rich Eisen show. Leads all defensive linemen with seven passes defensed. And one of five players in the NFL with at least seven passes defensed and four sacks this season. Or Eagles. That's right.

Balling out. That's right. 844-204-RICH is the number to dial right here on the Rich Eisen Show. We've loved our time here this week in New York City. We cherish it.

We do not take it. For granted, you've said multiple times, TJ, you're looking at the ESPN letters right here in the middle of this get up desk. right here. We've loved our time here and can't wait to come back. Which means what we're about to do is putting that return visitor at risk.

You're totally 100% unexpected. It's a fact. Or they could make us want to be here the rest of our lives. That's true. That's a good thing.

I mean, it could go either way, Rich. This is like you have no idea. That's true. And pressure. It could literally go either way.

If pressure makes diamonds, I wonder what high-pressure systems make for National Football League action. Look at you turning a phrase. Brockman's twice names on the mug, man. I keep saying it. The barometric pressure makes diamonds, all that sort of good stuff, because it is.

December football act. Yes, of course it is. There's a lot of weather. There's a lot of weather. There's a lot of weather.

A lot of weather. I could say that you could make that a case about life. Right. A lot of weather. Look at you two.

Mike Del Tufo. That's what you guys are going to do. This is the way for potentially our new audience on Disney Plus. ESPN Radio Friday. Presented by Progressive Insurance.

They don't know that this is a staple segment of the Rich Eisen show. Because we don't, why would we do this in September? Yeah, until October. It should be ME nominated on its own.

Well, it's time for Mike Del Tufo's week 15 weather report. Hit it. Del Tufo with the weekend weather update. It's raining sideways. All right, Disney Security waits outside to revoke our privileges for future shut off.

No, you're in charge of that. Of course. All right. What do we got? We got three games.

Which were picked and chosen by our esteemed producer, Mike Hoskins. First, what are you game for? You're already assigning blame? Yes.

So, in the way, you're already jerking responsibility. I'm not assigning blame. Don't blame me if your game's not on the list. What is that problem with you guys? You guys are taunting me.

I feel like an NBA player on the court with you guys yelling at me. Just show them, Mike.

Now I know why, LeBron. Don't you sit there and watch me do my power rankings every week with these guys, like the two older people. Rich, you're a professional. Rich, you're a professor. In the rafters?

Hey, get to the weather.

Okay.

First of all, Stormfield, we grew up with Stormfield. We did. If you told little Mike back in the 80s, I'd be doing a Stormfield weather report like WABC. All right, Lloyd Lindsey. Lloyd Lindsey dealt with too far.

Let him do his thing. Mike, do your thing.

Okay, the first game up is the Browns at the Bears. That's a big game. Which we all know is a big game. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We all know it's going to be cold.

Brockman even used it in one of his segments today. I've been saying that. Temperature kickoff for the Browns and Bears. is going to be 11 degrees. Uh-huh.

It's going to feel. Like four degrees. Or minus four, Mike. Minus four, four. I'm sorry, minus four.

I see. There you go. What's the difference? Eight degrees. Either way.

Eight degrees. What's the big deal? The winds are going to be coming out at about 10 to 15 miles an hour.

Okay.

Gusts at 25. Oh, which means running game.

Okay, look at you extrapolating it out from the X's and O's. Exactly. You're saying my glasses. From the H's and L's to the X's and O's. Could be a big game for Kyle Menungai's and L's.

So, what's the over-under? Nat Brockman, you want to take. Oh, my goodness. Look at him now asking you. Oh, I'm not ready for that.

I'm just too busy laughing at you. Exactly. All right, so that's the person.

So, 11 degrees feels like minus four. It feels like minus four. Minus four. And the second game is the Bills at the Pats. Which I've said the best game of the weekend.

Not the most interesting game. Obviously, if Philip River plays, he plays in Indy.

So, in saying that, I know, I'm saying for Indy.

Okay.

I meant for Indy. It is Phils at Pats and in Foxborough, of course. Yes.

Light snow in the morning. Oh. 40% chance of some precipitation. High temperature of 30% with. 10 to 15 miles an hour wind.

Oh, okay.

So, winds are about the same as they are in Chicago.

So, would you know if the light snow in the morning is the possibility of it lingering into kickoff? I mean, I don't have the information here, so it might linger into the water. Google it? Did you tell me to Google it, weather? Google me, like the Indiana.

Google. All right, now that's what they created that. All right, the third game of the day is the Colts at the Seahawks.

Okay, so we do have that information. Colts at Seahawks.

Okay.

It's going to be 54 degrees with some rain. Oh. 63% chance of precipitation at kickoff. What percentage does that mean that there's not going to be rain? Oh, God.

You do understand. By 63% chance, it means in the area. It doesn't mean at the actual stadium. Oh, not like right on top of the actual stadium. You have to know that.

Weatherman, no, we know that. We are afraid. To answer his question, 30%. How much rainfall could happen, Mike? You're doing a mistake.

It's right there. I know. Hold on. New rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible. Oh.

I was. Reading that next, Rich. Come on, I was leading you to it, Mike. Let me back up off you, Mike. You guys, a weatherman, when he's at his green screen, isn't getting heckled like this.

No, he's by himself. You guys have to heckle me the whole time. You want me to fail. I said one thing, I did a four-degree film. I don't want you to fail.

You do. You just want the weather. You got one more? You got one more? I don't have one more unless you have more.

Unless they add something else on the screen. Oh, no. No more. It's Colt. We do not have another.

I think everybody here wasn't brand new. That was entertaining, people, right? Brandon, that was entertaining, right? Exactly. You guys, proud of you.

I'm out of your flopsy. You got it. I mean, you were, I mean, yeah. Proud of him. You are flop sweating right now.

I am not. I am not flop sweating. I don't sweat anymore. TJ's trained to be better on camera. What happened to your glands, Mike?

TJ's trained. What happened to Mike Del Tufo's sweat gland? He had them removed. He had them removed. Fellini Jefferson has made me a better camera presence person.

That is not a leftover. Oh, so there are two.

So wait a minute.

So there are. Suck their cameras. There are some situations in which you still do sweat. Yeah, well, my way you said it means you don't sweat it anymore. I ever on camera.

I just thought you made me like didn't sweat for us or any of this. I don't sweat sweetness. No, let me ask you a question. Sure, yeah.

Okay.

Did I heckle him too much? You do. You pushed it.

Well, I mean, you're not helping the narrative of Susie's that we give Mike too much of a hard time. No, but I think it makes it a more entertaining. Oh. You don't have to convince me. Because Brockman's on your room.

He's laughing the entire time. Look, it's going to be cold all over the week. 12 degrees in Cincinnati, 18 degrees in Kansas City, 29 degrees in New York and Philadelphia. Monday night in Pittsburgh, 22 degrees. Weather is going to be a factor across the league this weekend.

That's what I took from the weather report. See, thank you, Rich. And I appreciate you adding on. I appreciate you putting the button on it. Thank you, Brockman.

Helping you out, Mike. Yeah, it's hard when you're always getting cut off. I'm like, I understand. Yeah, because you see, I'm speaking, and all of a sudden you start injecting. The thing of like cutting me off with that's what she said jokes.

Look, here's non-stop. What are you going to talk about? Let me tell you guys something, right? I used to, right? I wrote a book and it was called That's What She said.

Oh, you wrote a book. It's a cheap book. I'm going to publish it. I'm a publisher. This word is a lot of money.

You are. You are now absolutely fishing for a compliment from our friends here. No, because we're all cool. They'll never say if they care about you writing a book. I think.

Because they don't care that I wrote a book. I'm not even... All right, whatever.

Well, continue on. I don't even remember I was going to say. You said you wrote a book about that's what she said jokes. Yes, which gives you the right to interrupt me.

So you that's what she said. Every now and then I would, Rich would say something. I'd be like, that's what she said.

So one day, Rich never has yelled at me, but one day we're in the game. I said you've never yelled at me. I'm like, we're in the green room. He goes, listen, you know, sometimes I'm talking about something serious and you just can't do that. That's what she said.

And I'm like, all right, I'm like a three-trick pony and you're taking away one. Of my tricks, but fine.

So I stopped. And then, Rich, well, every time when the situation would call for it, he goes, What, Mr., that's what she said is going to say? And I'm like, You told me not to say it. You can't go both ways, Rich, with that. Thank you for staying with that.

Because that's what she's exactly. Actually, there's only one left of paperback on Amazon.com or TJ's book. Is it TJ's book? There's only one paperback left on everybody's book. You know what I mean?

$6.99 on Kindle. Wow. Kindle. All right. So you said that kind of an additional.

So now you're tapping out the rest of this show because I got to start packing up. Because Liz. Don't blame Liz for anything. No, she came up with her on fire on. She wasn't want everyone to be late because Mike's going to leave us all waiting.

Yeah, but Rich, Mike is a TV sports personality. He's got a show. He's got a pack up. And he's got to go to the TSA website to see if a sandwich. We'll make it through the GFK security.

If I don't get stopped, I'm going to die. Oh, my God. I'm going to laugh so hard. Oh, my God. All right.

So, thank you for your hard work, Mike, this week. You're welcome, everybody. I got to tap out. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm eating the in-fight meal. Thank you.

Doppler radar, Mike Del Tufo, everybody. All right, we're wrapping up the Friday show. here from New York City, and I'm gonna go outside to see if we're If security's ready to kick our asses on the street, they're like, we stayed extra for this.

844-204-RICH is the number to dot. One of our favorites, Manny in El Paso, has been hanging on. How you been, Manny? Live from New York, it's a Donkey Ivan Show. Como pan caballeros.

I told you that he's talking show close to the border.

So, right away, I got three things, sir. One, good luck to Philip Rivers. I don't want him to end up like blue on the movie old school when he's about to go baby world wrestling. I mean, what, did the Colts League what about backup extraordinaire Nick Falls? I mean, can you imagine if the Colts gave one Tom Brady a call?

Brockman would have a conviction. He'd probably grow out here. Number two, am I getting real here, sir? I hope you do watch a boolean with your family. It's beautifully done.

I don't report on loved ones that are gone in past tense. They're not here physically, but they're always. In our minds and our hearts. I think of the advice you gave me before on my wedding day, sir, to take a moment. Sit back and look around with all the hot uh all the happiness.

That's what the show is. It's getting another chance to look back at all the good times. Not many people have a chance to do that. And number three. Everyone is in New York.

Miss Susie was there. But we finally find out which Yankee gave her the phone number. Guys, everyone, be safe, be kind, remember to laugh, remember to think, remember to cry. Let's watch some sports, guys, and have a good one. Manning El Paso.

I love it. Good to hear you. I love it. By the way, Rich Manny, all week, he was tweeting at David Letterman. Trying to get him to come on the show.

I respected his game on that one. Oh, David Letterman here? Yeah, Randy was making it his personal mission for David to show up here. David Letterman was in LA this week, just you know, with us being here. Don't worry.

We checked. Oh, I know. Oh, you know that. He was out there. You know that.

He was working for us. I've been cultivating that caper. Absolutely. Yeah, that's been our Lufthansa heist for 11 years. But you never ended up like that.

Never say never, and that's not the drop.

Okay.

Let's go to Noah in Portland. We talked about his pen loves his Panthers. How about us having a Panther on, Noah? Good morning, Chancellor, Vice Chancellors. Rich has an empire.

Hey, yeah, I remember the last time I called it. Last time I can you hear me okay? There we go.

Okay, awesome.

Okay.

Um, so last time I called in, we were talking about the Panthers. I made a huge flub and said Caleb Williams instead of Bryce Young, you ran with it. You didn't make me feel stupid. You corrected that as you were talking, and I thought that was very professional of you, and I appreciate that. My pleasure.

No, I don't, it's not my goal to make people look stupid. He would not offer us that same luxury. It's correct. Just so you know, can't confirm. Yes.

Hey, real quick, and I wanted to. Can you give me some more information about this game? I've heard you talk about it a couple times where you could be. I guess calling a a Panthers game in Bucks, possibly? Like, what's the information on that?

Yeah, I don't believe that happened. That is not happening. I will not be calling the. the Panthers and the Seahawks. I don't want to make any other Announcements before it's time, but I appreciate the call.

Noah and Portland, right here. Shout out to Anna. There is going to be a. Right back at you, man. Thank you, brother.

Yeah, there's going to be an NFL network game week 17 right after Christmas on a Saturday. Kurt Warner and I are going to be in a booth one more time. 844-204-Rich. Number to dial. John in Ohio.

Let's take his call. What's up, John? How are you, sir? Hi, Rich, longtime listener, first time caller. I wanted to ask you.

Uh with regard to the the Tom Polisero interview, which was excellent. Why wouldn't Joe Burrell. play a Carson Palmer. and threatened to sit out until they traded him to somebody who could protect him and had a defense. That's a good question.

And as you know, in the same way that everybody that goes through a uh as a fan, a difficult experience. You feel Like it's possible it can happen again, and you're always looking for the markers that it could happen again. Just look at Eagles fans right now, right? Everyone's thinking this is twenty twenty three all over again. That hearing Joe Burrow sound like this might make.

Right. Yeah, go on. Um And um I wanted to Faye, I really enjoy your interviews. And Being in Ohio, I don't hold it against you that you're a Michigan man. And I don't hold it against you either, John.

Yeah. You know, we can all get along. Thanks for the call. All right. You take care of yourself, John.

That's John in Ohio right there. Right there. That's the. But as John is pointing out, I mean Bengals fans are like, is he done with us? Yep.

Why would he be done with Jamar Chase and T. Higgins? That makes no sense. And again, I Hard to having those guys around outweigh maybe what he feels he's being, how he's being coached up, what the defense looks like, him constantly having to come back from double-digit deficits or these types of late. These injuries got nothing to do with the coaching series.

I'm just talking about like constantly being behind the eight ball because the defense can't stop anybody. But Andrew Luck was just done with being in rehab all the time. It's not fun anymore, and I'm done. That's so if I had to be concerned about Burrow being any other quarterback from the recent past. It would be luck more than Carson Palmer.

That's what I'm saying. Him saying, I'm done with the Bengals. I need to go to a place to protect me. I mean, where? I mean, a perfect case in point is Houston, right?

They're killing it right now. But or and they have done better protecting CJ Stroud. Remember the last couple of years? But I mean are you I don't know if that's going to last. I have no idea.

He's been running for his life a lot. We saw Justin. Mahomes is running for his life right now. Hurts is occasionally running for his life. J.J.

McCarthy, my guy. He's been running for his life. Offensive line play has been an issue, I think, across in a lot of places.

So. That's why I'm saying burrow becoming Carson Palmer, if on a What's More Likely Friday, that hearing his comments sounds more like luck. That's why I'm looking forward to seeing this game this weekend against the Ravens. It's first since these comments. Great job, guys.

Super fun week, man. Thanks for having me. Fun time, fun time, fun time. We're going to wrap this up on Disney Plus in a matter of moments, and then we're going to go mad dash it to the airport. I've got to stop and get a sandwich first.

Um, you know, one that's see-through. Thank you. Put the trade tables in the upright position, everybody. Let's, we will see you say goodbye to the radio audience. See you guys.
