Hey. Hello everybody, welcome to Over Reaction Monday here live at Fanatics Fest. He's Chris. I'm Rich. Good to see you all.

You ready to roll, Chris? Rich, come on. We're born for this. We're here in the middle of June, which is exactly when we are always thinking about the National Football League.

So there's nothing that we can't say. That can be properly fact-checked right now. Of course. All about what we think. Not about what anybody else is actually seeing in reality.

That's what I'm saying. If any of this is wrong, we'll just forget about it and we're not going to come back to it.

Okay, so you're all prepared. I see you've written out all your thoughts. I got a dozen topics, Rich Isaac. You're on your phone. It's time for Overreaction Monday.

Hit it. Hit it. That was terrible. That was crap. That was garbage.

This place sucks. Overreaction. Mondays. Mondays. Are you ready?

I thought about this one. This was a late ad because I wanted to start this off as spicy as possible and as hot as possible.

Okay. We all remember what happened in the Super Bowl. Less than six months ago, Rich Eisen. Last year's Super Bowl blowout loss marked the end of the Chiefs' dynasty. That's absurd.

That is one of the most absurd things I've heard in a long time, and you know exactly how I was going to react to this sort of thing. Of course I did. That's why you actually set me up. It's called a spinning curve in the zone. I would absolutely say that you are out of your mind, and as you know, the last time we had this conversation.

Was quite literally 24 hours ago on our show. Yes. Back in Los Angeles. We're here in New York City at the Javits Center. In Manhattan, and 100%, the Kansas City Chiefs are coming back.

This year Even better than last year, even better than last year's Super Bowl, because Rashi Rice. Blew his knee out right in the middle of October in Los Angeles against the Chargers in some freak play. Knocked him out for the entire season from there on out. He's going to be coming back. He's ready for training camp.

Travis Kelsey is coming in with a chip on his shoulder. They made the Super Bowl last year. They were the one seed last year. They're not longer in the tooth and Very many spots at all. They're the same team.

I will say, you're out of your mind. And that's a great way to start this program. And are they going to get the same breaks as last year? Remember, fortunate calls in the beginning of the season against Cincinnati, a toenail loss against the Ravens, a blocked field goal against the Broncos. Are all of those breaks really going to go their way?

Because when you really think about it and you think, oh, those games could have gone the other way, they're a 9-8, 10-7, 11-6 max. Super Bowl losers, there is a thing as a Super Bowl, losing hangover. They normally do not fare as well the next season. I believe it's the Patriots for the last team to lose a Super Bowl and then make it back. That was a long time ago, Rich Isaac.

You forgot. The Raiders having them dead to rise. The Raiders also having a snap go right off of Aiden O'Connell's chest to fall down on the ground. There's another one. You forgot that one.

Yeah, they're going to get breaks like they're going to get, they're going to get calls. That everybody thinks that Roger Goodell, including my son who's sitting in the front row, I'm raising the- Cooper, the the games were rigged for the Chiefs, right? No idea I was raising a conspiracy theorist. In my own house, that Roger Goodell is mandating that the Chiefs advance because Taylor Swift is dating Travis Kelsey. You're out of your mind.

Obviously, the Chiefs are. Listen. Will they make the Super Bowl this year? I don't know. Will they win the AFC West again this year?

I think that's more likely than not. Will they actually have double-digit wins this year? That's more likely than not. But to say that their window is closed on their Super Bowl run: Dynasty is over. The Dynasty is not in any way, shape, or form.

Over. It could be threatened, it could be in danger. But to say that the window is closed That's an overreaction to start us off. Fair.

Well done.

Well done.

Thank you, sir. Let's get to another absolutely spicy one. We are in the home of New York City. Yes. The Jets and Giants, they play in New Jersey.

The Jets and Giants will combine for less wins than the Dallas Cowboys. Yeah, I see somebody's already yelling in the back, Chris. It only took one moment. Is that a Go Birds back there? No, that's an Eagles fan.

Um Rich, I don't know how this season goes well for the Giants and Jets. I just don't. I thought you were going to, since you slagged on the Giants and Jets for playing in New Jersey, I thought you were going to say they would have fewer wins combined than the Bills. And the Bills and the actual team that played you were going with that one. Nah, we've got to get the Cowboys in here somehow.

I'm going to call that an overreaction as well. Um I do think that people are sleeping on the Dallas Cowboys. I kind of think so, too. But you're saying that the Giants and the Jets are both going to have. Five wins apiece.

Yeah, five, six at most. Dallas could be a 12-5 team. That's still a very tall order on the Dallas end of things. an unfortunate result on the Giants and the Jets sort of thing. I will call that an overreaction as well.

I kind of think. If you Look at the Giants. Defense. That nobody's talking about that side of the football being a top 10. Side of the football.

Because we're just focused on the quarterback position there. Right, we're focusing on what a. Fire of the dumpster, the Giants were on the offensive side in general last year. I think they're going to be better. I think the Jets will be better.

And for the Dallas Cowboys to win. Twelve games. Which they've done recently. I mean, a remarkable amount of things are going to have to go right.

So I I think that's an overreaction. And I think once again... You showing up in a big poppy shirt slagging on New York Sports. In the Javit Center. I think that tracks.

I think is, it tracks for you on our brand. I think that tracks. But I don't think it's very welcoming. I'm going to go. That's an overreaction to start as well.

All right, Rich, the Yankee lead is only down to four over Boston. Just letting you know, just reminding you of that. All right. Rich. Every year, as we know, there is a lot of turnover in the playoffs.

Yes. Four, five, six teams make it that didn't make it the year before. I think someone were not even. thinking about right now is going to make the playoffs And I'm talking about Cardinals, Panthers, Titans, something like that. A team we're not even thinking about right now is going to make the playoffs this year.

So. Who are the so How do you know I'm not thinking about teams?

Well, I can read your mind. We've been together a long time. I basically know what you're talking about. We're trying to figure out what is the list of teams we're not thinking about. I just gave you three of them.

All right. So we're not talking about the Jets or the Giants, right? We're not talking about the Browns. We're definitely not talking about the Browns. We're not talking about the Jaguars.

We're not talking about the Jaguars really. There's a Jaguar fake Duval. I think they might make it. Jaguars. That's right.

We are. Duval. What do you think? I think they might win the division.

So we are talking about them because we talk incessantly about Travis Hunter. We are talking about it.

So we are talking about them. We are talking about them. We're not talking about any of them. We talk about the Raiders. We are because we like Pete Carroll.

Good vibes. Are we talking about...

Well, we're not talking about Carolina or anybody in the South. We're not talking about Carolina. Arizona, Tennessee. If you're saying Jacksonville is a team we're talking about, then they're removed from this equation. They're removed.

Um I'll call that an overreaction to. Wow, three for three. I think the following: as we're sitting here in June, and again, as always, We'll bring it up again in the fall all the time. All the time. And if I'm wrong, despite us being at a jam-packed Javit Center.

In the most populous city of the United States of America. This never happened. Never happened.

So. I will say the Bills make it again, the Ravens make it again, the Chiefs make it again, the Texans make it again.

Okay. I think the. Uh I think the Chargers make it again.

Okay. Denver? Denver could make it again. I think you see where I'm going with this. I do.

You think all the same teams have left? I think the Eagles make it again. The Rams make it again. The Bucs make it again. The Lions make it again.

I heard niners being yelled over here. Um Atlanta? But I think what you're saying, you see what I'm saying? I think nine to ten playoff teams from the last year.

Well, there's only 14. I'm aware of what the math.

Okay. Um So I believe when it comes down to it, A team that were not Nothing about or talking about still doesn't make it.

Okay. Interesting. Although last year The Commanders would have been one of those teams. Correct. We're not talking about them at all.

It would have been one of the teams that we were talking about because we were talking about Jaden Daniels. Perhaps. See, again, it's not about reality. It's about what the media thinks on the Over Reaction Monday podcast. It's not about what.

Is actually out there. Rich, it's funny that you bring up the commanders.

Okay. The Commanders are going to miss the playoffs this year. You're out of your mind. Here's the deal. Hear me out.

Sophomore six. Is this the latest subject matter? This is next. This is topic four. Here's the deal: the NFC East is going to be better.

You said the Giants could have a top 10 defense. They have three quarterbacks. We'll see what Russ does, but Jackson Dart is going to play at some point this year, like Daniel Jeremiah pointed out, maybe sooner than later, right? And the Cowboys are going to be plussed up.

So that takes away some wins from Washington. And they did get pretty lucky last year with Jaden Daniels hitting. The Hail Mary obviously went their way. And now there's a full season of tape on Jaden Daniels. He did suffer an injury in the middle of last year and was slumping.

I think they're going to come back down to earth a little bit, maybe go 9-8. Ultimately, miss the playoffs. I don't understand why.

So which teams that made the playoffs or won it last year. We're good enough to make them. as opposed to being lucky enough To get enough wins to make them.

Well, Rich, oblong ball takes weird bounces. The Chiefs were one of the lucky teams. They were very lucky last night. Right.

Now the commanders are pretty lucky. You don't think they were very lucky with that? But it's also the residue of design. I do believe that the teams that are. The luckiest are good enough.

Make it a little bit more. I might I I think the commanders are going to show up. again as a better team. They got one of the best left tackles in the league and Laramie Tunsell to stand right there and protect Jaden Daniels' blindside. They gave.

Debo Samuel. Uh an opportunity to finally come back to the East Coast and Debo Samuel Debo Samuel looks pretty big in this community, Richard. Hold on a second. Debo Samuel's arrival, an addition. to the Washington Commanders was deemed at the time A massive home run.

It was deemed A massive home run from the time he was acquired all the way to the time that he showed up. And an OTA caught a pass, and the burgundy pants made his ass look fat. And everybody's not going to be able to do that. They were not flattering that he's a fat ass. I'm just saying.

And he is no longer the Debo Samuel that can break away and score touchdowns. That is exactly what you're saying. I want you in front of everybody here. To say the words, I think Debo Samuel's a fat ass. It's time.

Because that's exactly what you've been intimating now for weeks. All right, he looks fat. I mean, I'm just saying, Debo Samuel looks fat and slow. I don't know. I think you could beat him in a 40.

That's what I'm saying. Only be worse if he wore pinstripe pants, right? You know what I mean?

So, but listen. He's going to be A massive addition for this team. I don't think it's going to be like... What a total waste he's falling off the planet on Washington. They'll figure it out.

Tough schedule. They'll figure it out with Terry McLaurin. They're going to have a better attack with. with a better quarterback who is a unicorn. period end of story that's the only This episode is brought to you by Navy Federal Credit Union.

The commanders are absolutely. Absolutely going to be a playoff. Vikings, Giants, Eagles twice, and Cowboys. Pushback. That's a tough finish.

You're 0 for 4 in the overall. 0 for 4.

Well, I think I'm about to be 0 for 5, Rich, because as we get ready for the 2025 NFL season, I love this topic. You hate it. I love hot seats. I love who's under the most pressure. And when you talk about head coaches, Dan Campbell is the head coach under the most pressure in 2025.

Out of all the head coaches. Out of all the head coaches. Dan Campbell. Are you a contender or not? Are you going to the Super Bowl or not?

You've been building, building, building. How often are you going to keep building before you actually deliver me what you've promised? And that was. A Super Bowl run for Detroit. We just haven't seen it yet.

I don't understand, again, your definition of pressure. To me There are many more head coaches under more pressure. than Dan Campbell. If Dan Campbell goes six and eleven. With the Lions, because they do have two coordinators that potentially aren't.

As good as as the two head coaches in Chicago and the Jets right now. They lost their two coordinators, and thus the last time we saw that from a team. It was the Eagles two years ago who barely made the playoffs after starting, I think, 10 and 1, right? 10 and 1, yep.

So Um Will he be fired? No, but we're going to start talking about, well, maybe it was really Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn. How much does he really contribute to winning? What is the culture, et cetera, et cetera?

So, once again, your sense of pressure. You don't want to be talked. poorly about In the media. Yeah, you don't want people to think you're a fraud like Kyle Shannon. You're Freghazi or an emperor with no clothes, and that may lead to actual hot seat.

Boiling up. That said. The people who are under more pressure this year. Right here in New York, Brian Dable. I see Giants fans sitting here in the front row.

If. Things don't go well this year if Jackson Tart. Doesn't If he does get out there and he doesn't show much promise. Is Brian Dabo no longer here as the coach of the New York Giants? What about Shane Steichen in Indianapolis last year?

We were talking about. Could he be fired? Did they have the wrong pick and Anthony Richardson, what happens now? Ask Brian Daybole. how well things work out for you if you're Bubbling on the hot seat, and Daniel Jones is your quarterback, as it's going to be for Shane Steichen in Indianapolis.

Do we have any hot seat? whatsoever in Miami? Miami, you keep saying that. I don't think so, but. I don't think Mike McDaniel gets fired, but Crazier things have happened.

I think you're seeing where I'm going. Of course, but I think expectations lead to pressure. And the expectation for Detroit is: this is a Super Bowl team. They've been so close. Why haven't they been able to get over the hump?

Is it because of the quarterback? Is it because they lost their coordinators? Is it something else? No, I hear you. I also think that the way things have played out with the way we just laid out the landscape is that expectations for the Lions aren't nearly as high.

And you could basically say, Um That takes a little bit more pressure off of Dan Campbell in terms of your definition of pressure about. You don't want to be The main topic of conversation. You don't want to be on Overreaction Monday or First Take. I appreciate you giving us a top going over First Take. What else do you got?

Give me something here. Wow, give me something. Rich, here's the deal: a lot of quarterbacks in new places this year. And a quarterback Will get benched. That will blow our minds this season.

I'm talking about Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Sam Darnold.

Somebody's getting benched that we're not going to see coming, and it's going to be as quick as their rise was. That's their end. All right. I don't see Rogers getting benched in Pittsburgh. Period.

At all. At all. What if they start one and six? I don't think they will. I know that their first few games are really tough.

But I'm not gonna I don't I don't see that Listen, I think we can all agree here that. If Jackson Dart looks good. In training camp. And they see that. And they know it.

And Russia. Struggles in the first month of the season. That could easily be A spot. I know you mentioned Russell Wilson. Yeah, I think he tracks for that.

I don't think that's an overreaction then. I I I I don't think Sam Darnold's getting benched in Seattle either. It's already been brought up there. I know because he had three bad practices in an OTA in front of the media. And these guys in OTAs, listen, let me just...

Explain something to the gathered throng here. In the Javit Center, the way things work. The way things work Is we in the media. If we capture it. On our phones in a practice.

then that's the way it's going to be when the regular season hits. If somebody is throwing an interception in a 7-on-7 or an 11-on-11, and we've got a cell phone camera in the open portion of practice, and we see it, this quarterback is on thin ice, he sucks. But the bottom line is a lot of quarterbacks use these moments in practice. to tinker with things, to just say, All right, that's a window that if I see it in week five, I'm not trying it here. But in snap five and practice five of day five.

We're gonna I'm gonna throw it It doesn't matter. Sam Darnold, I'll say this. here in New York City. And again, if it's right. Let's talk about it.

If it's wrong, it's never happened. Sam Darnold's not getting benched. This season. He's not getting benched. He might actually be better.

I'm saying it here for all of you people. on a podcast with my own language. This lady is signing for you if you need that sort of assistance. I love that. Any different language.

English sign. Sam Darnold is not getting benched. in 2025. Thank you. Yeah, if you're taking a percent of it right now, snap that.

Okay, you're putting it in your head. Very good. Katua get benched. Huh? Katua get benched.

I don't think so. The hesitation makes me think you thought about it. I thought about it, and then I realized for the Jets fans, the backup is Zach Wilson, baby. Out of boy. Um I think Zach's going to get time, but I just think it's because Tua is not going to answer the bell every now and then.

Could Trevor Lawrence get benched? No. Are you going down the list? I'm going down the list. Keep going.

I don't know. Keep going. Could Kyler Murray get benched? No. Okay, that's that's probably about it.

Yeah. Everyone else is benchable? Everyone else is pretty secure as a top quarterback. I don't know. I'm just saying.

Someone's going to get benched this year. It happens every year. We didn't think Kirk Cousins was getting benched, and he did, especially after signing that deal for $100 million guarantee. I guess everyone's. Four to six bad starts away from getting benched.

In a row. In a row. Rich This one's for me. I am out here wearing a Big Poppy t-shirt. Obviously, I am a New England fan.

Mike Vrabel is going to win Coach of the Year. The Packs are back, people. We're back. Cooper Eisen, we're back. Jack, we're back.

Cage, we're back. Oh boy. Vrabo's winning coach of the year. Vrabo's going to win coach of the year. Look, here's the thing: give me the number of wins.

The number of wins. He just won four games last year. If they go to 10 and 7, 11 and 6. That's coach of the year. 10 and 7?

He's not a coach of the year. That's a plus six. But you know there's going to be some other coach that wins 12, 13 games that's going to be there. Yeah, but they are expected to win that much. The Patriots' win total is like 7.5, 8.

If they go plus two or three over that, Vrabel will be in the running for coach of the year. I think you've lost your mind. Wow. Coach of the year? Coach of the year.

He'd have to win 12 games to go coach of the year. Really? Yeah, you'd have to plush it. Who are your coaching candidates right now in June? Nobody saw Dan Quinn coming last year, right?

Nobody saw Nobody nobody saw uh uh Kevin O'Connell. At this point last year, if you told me last year. In last year's Fanatics Fest.

Okay. Yes. If you had told me at last year's Fanatics Fest that Sam Darnold would get the starters job in Minnesota. When 13 games, right? 13 and 4.

Right.

Yeah. And the Vikings I met Kevin O'Connell would be coach of the year. Kevin O'Connell was coach of the year. I would give you the same response as I'm giving you right now.

Okay, well, that's what I'm saying. Being very honest with you. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's Jude. You had said Kevin O'Connell's been coach of the year, Sam Darnold is going to be an MVP candidate.

And the Vikings are going to win 13 games with Sam Darnold. I'd have been like, that's an overreaction. You're crazy. Right.

Right.

Um.

So That's why I think my reaction is legitimate, as opposed to you being so surprised here. Listen, I think the following. Um Vrabel is absolutely The perfect coach for the perfect New England Patriots. He is a bridge to the past. You never also want to be the guy after the guy.

Right.

You want to be the guy who is after the guy who is after the guy. Vrabel is that. Yes. They also got Josh McDaniels back as the offensive coordinator. This is perfect.

He is going to be the perfect guy for Drake May. The guy is currently getting his Um Johnson dipped in ice in the other corner of the Uh yeah. Uh of the uh Convention center right now with Kevin Hart. He will tell you. What Josh McDaniels can bring to the equation is that.

Indeed.

Okay. Indeed.

So. Drake May's got the perfect. person in his ear. The Patriots have the perfect person in charge. They went ahead and drafted supposedly according across the board.

Pretty good. Pretty good draft. They've got the right guy. I love. Traybion Henderson, as much as it hates for me to say that, as a Michigan man, I know how good he is.

He will be terrific, and also another guy in the offense. That is desperate for people like that. Absolutely. Stefan Diggs hopefully will be healthy. I've just given you all of these positives.

For it to go for him to be coach of the year. Again, 10 and 7 doesn't cut it. It doesn't matter if you're plus 6. Jim Harbaugh was 11 and 6 last year. Yeah.

11 and 6, that's it. Even in the conversation. Minnesota was 14 and 3. Right.

14 and 3.

So, long story short, I'm happy for you. I'm glad that you're once again. Waving your new English back here in New York. But It's an overreaction as well. You're on fire here.

I'm on fire. I actually think you might agree with me on the next one. Here's the deal: look, in the past,. Ardent listeners of this show will know I've been a little critical of Kyle Shanahan, the 49ers, Brock Purdy. But I think heading into 2025, the 49ers are.

being slept on. Underrated, and San Francisco will be playing on championship weekend. this year. They like it over there. All right, 49er country.

I'm back in their good graces. Oh man. They have a very easy schedule, Rich. all the way up to Ricky Pearsall and McCaffrey is healthy. In case everyone might be new to the Overreaction Monday podcast or to the.

mindset of Chris Brockman Chris Brockman thinks like if the ceiling was this high, like this high. Kyle Shanahan would be hitting it just by standing up every single time he stands up. You are not a Kyle Shanahan fan. I am not a Kyle Shanahan fan. That's so for you to say this You must really believe it.

I think people are sleeping on them so hard. Championship weekend. They're an afterthought. Championship weekend. Do you think they're good enough to be one of the top five teams in the league?

I obviously, yeah, of course. I think they do, because they're... They would need to be coached up, and I do believe they have the right coaching staff with Robert Sala now being their defensive coordinator again. They would have to win two playoff games for you to be right. Yeah, they have a last-place schedule.

So they went 6 and 11 last year. They could be 12 and 5 pretty easily. There it Even even if they are back. As you would say. They got to win two playoffs.

They would have to be the one seed in order to only win one game to get to where you're going. I think if you look how the playoffs shook out last year, They'd have to win two playoffs. Why not? One at home, one on the road. Why not?

Because Brock Purdy's that good? Brock Purdy. Brock Purdy. Say it. Say it.

Brock Birdie is good. Look, he was good enough. You said it, I'll agree with you. Brock Birdie was good enough to leave the Super Bowl with the leave. Brock Birdie's good enough.

Brock Birdie's good enough. All right, I agree with you then. Hey, not an overreaction. Left the field with the lead in the Super Bowl. Championship weekend.

Final 14. Niners and NFC Championship. Niners and Eagles. I'll buy it. I'll say that's not an overreaction in the realm.

Okay. I'm with you. We're back. You had me on that. We're back.

Let's see if we can get two in a row. Rich, last year there was a rookie quarterback. Who was spectacular? Led his team to the playoffs. Bo Nix is going to be an MVP finalist this year.

Top five. Quarterback. Bo Nix led all rookie quarterbacks and touchdowns. Sean Payton year two. Got some weapons in the draft.

Broncos win the West. Bo Nick's 4,500 yards, 35 touchdowns. That's a little much for me. Really? Yeah, it's a little much for me.

You're now throwing darts at a board on that one. Jackson darts. No, I uh I I can't see Oh Nix was awesome last year. He was. And again, he's under the radar.

Under the radar. For sure. Because everybody thinks he was the last cornerback taken in that class. Here's. To use again, we always talk on this.

the way the rest of our media views things or talks about things. Sure. And I think the reason why fans don't buy what you're saying is Name me a player on the Broncos. you would take in the first five rounds of your fantasy draft. Can't do it.

Not even Bo Nicks, too, right? Not even Bo Nick. You could get Bo Nicks. 10, 11, I mean way down. Right.

So That's one of the reasons why. I mean, would you take A chief in the first five rounds of your family. Yeah, of course. Would you take a Charger in the first five rounds of your family? Yeah, absolutely.

O'Marian Hampton's going to go in the second round.

Okay, would you take a Raider in the first five rounds of your family? Yeah, Ashton Genti is going to go in the first round. And you might think about Geno Smith and why I've given an example as to why nobody's talking about Denver thinking about Denver. That's fantasy. But collectively, Denver.

Denver's nice. Instead of technically a top five team in the AFC. Yeah, absolutely. Denver went 10 and 7. I just think Bo Nick's being an MVP candidate is a nice.

That's more of a. A nice predictive Smart.

Well thought out shot in the dark at an NFL dartboard. Then an overreaction Monday, like Do you believe what you're saying right now? I believe in. Do you believe what you're saying right now? I believe he's capable.

Last year at this time. Right.

Enjoy your overreaction Monday while you have it. Uh as we know As we know, this is a passing league. The NFL is a passing league right now.

Somebody has to catch those passes. We have come close. In recent years, but this is finally the year we are going to see a 2,000-yard wide receiver. 2,000-yard wide receiver there. 2,000 yards.

We saw Tyreek Hill on our way in today. He was close. He was on a pace. We know Calvin Johnson got close. Julio Jones, these guys have been close.

I think we are going to push that over the top this year. Last year we had a 2,000-yard running back. This year we're going 2,000 yard wide receiver. That's a nice call. Who would it be?

Now, I didn't put any names in this. Who would it be?

If you think J.J. McCarthy is as good as he thinks he is, then Justin Jefferson is going to get fed. It's going to get fed. Justin Jefferson is going to get fed. How about I give you one?

I'll agree with you and I'll give you one. You're going to say Travis Hunter? Nope. I'm going Puka Nakua. Puka, yes.

I love that. Stafford As you know, you mentioned Calvin Johnson. Right.

He's the trigger man who can do it. They run it too much, though. And there is another guy who's on a stage with Tyreek Hill. Who's gonna Get footballs thrown in. But maybe Devontae Adams will lead to Puka getting a little bit more man coverage.

Not going to be doubled as hell. Stockford throws for 4,000 yards. 5,000. It's possible Puka has handled it. I like it.

So you're down with that. You're down with a 2,000-yard wide receiver. I don't think it's out of the realm. I don't think it's out of the realm. I'm kind of second-guessing my choice because the Rams run it too much for a 2,000-yard receiver to exist.

Yeah, but now you don't get Devontae Adams to hand the ball off inside the red zone. Let me think of somebody else who would do it. Because again, Justin, what about Jamar Chase? Jamar Chase, freshly paid Jamar Chase? Jamar Chase.

Would not be a bad choice. I see Joe Burroughs in the crowd right here clapping. Are we talking about? I mean, Brian Thomas. I was a breakout last year.

I was talking about. Not only am I going to agree with you crazy. I'm giving you names. I like it when you give me names. I'm looking at the other top receivers from last year.

Amon Ross St. Brown, are they back? Obviously, I like Justin Jefferson and Brian Thomas. Two more, Rich Eisen. By the way, I just noticed that I'm I just noticed.

Um the um sign language individual, they just changed. Did you tap out, ma'am? We swapped out? Didn't I swapped out? I talked too much.

I talked too much. You went to the bullpen on the side. I love it. All right. They just replaced.

You're talking too much, Chris.

Somebody threw our arm out. All right, we got two more. Rich, last year, we're talking about wide receivers, we're talking about young quarterbacks. Last year, during the last three games, this quarterback-wide receiver duo 39 targets, 352 yards, and two touchdowns. I'm talking about.

Michael Pennix and Drake London will be the breakout QB wide receiver duo of the 25 season. I like it.

I mean, that's not That's not crazy, right? I mean, Bijan Robinson is going to be. Look, if you guys are getting ready, didn't you say Cooper just did a fantasy draft last week? Yep. And I guarantee you, Cooper, that B.

John Robinson was probably first overall. Bijan is going to go first in most of your fan second. He's going to go first or second in all your fantasy drafts. You should be getting Drake London. In your fantasy drafts, if you can, and then wait, wait, wait.

Take Michael Pennix late. That duo is going to take you to the playoffs. Really? I'm trying to figure out who would who will I mean like let's sound out who would be the others Breakout duos? Yeah, who did you think of?

I know you got Atlanta on the brain in your household, but.

Well, I saw that great stat, and I'm like, that's pretty good.

Well, I mean, talk about guys who are breaking out. Look, Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas really haven't played a lot together. You got to look at other quarterbacks from last year. You're not going Drake May with fill in the blank. No, probably not.

Chaden Daniels obviously doesn't You know, you're not. You're not throwing Caleb Williams in the mix with Roma Dunze? That'd be a nice one. I think that's pretty nice. Roma Dunze really has a chance to be the number one wide receiver in Chicago.

So. There's that right there. That one's pretty good. Bo Nix is not. We're not talking about anybody with a breakout there.

I mean, Corlin Sutton doesn't knock my socks off. J.J. McCarthy and. Justin Jefferson is broken.

Well, Justin Jefferson, obviously. He's already broken. By the way, I just just said Jefferson broke out many years ago. Yeah. Justin Jefferson has broken out.

You can't include that. Do you like Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf? Would that They've never played together. Yeah, but they've both broken out. They both have broken out.

How about Jordan Love? Jordan Love and Matthew Golden. And Matthew Golden, our new best friend from Green Bay. But the way you're saying is, London has been there before, but he really hasn't had a breakout season yet. Right.

And Michael Pennix, obviously, is just. He's going to have his first ever. Week one start. He's going to start his first season ever. Do you like Cam Ward and Calvin Ridley?

I kind of dig what you're saying. I don't know if there's really many candidates to. To I guess Knock this Knock these people off of the possibility perch. If you will.

So I'll buy that one. That's not a bad one. All right, last one. I'd love to see that happen. That would be great.

That would make the NFC South a heck of a lot more interesting. It would make Sundays very enjoyable at my house. How about it? I got one more for you. What do you got?

How about Bryce Young? And Ted McMillan. There you go. I like that a lot. We saw Bryce Young yesterday.

Bryce Young. And Ted McMillan. That would be very fun. That's one that's totally under the radar as well. I like that one.

All right, last one. Let's finish strong. Rich, we talk about the best divisions in the NFL. What are the best divisions in the NFL? AFC West, NFC North.

Both Norths. Both Norths, the NFC East. AFC East. Rich, the AFC North. One playoff team.

One playoff team. Oh, no, no, no, no. One playoff team from the AFC North. Who is it? It's the Baltimore Ravens.

They might go to the Super Bowl this year, but everyone else. Cleveland has five quarterbacks. They don't have one, they don't have any. When you have five, you have zero, okay? If you have less than zero.

Right.

We all know that Aaron Rodgers is going to fail spectacularly in Pittsburgh. Wow. Spectacularly in Pittsburgh. And Cincinnati, they're running back the same team as last year. They're going to score 40 points, but they're going to give up 41.

I look, by the way, I love this Steeler fan sitting in the front row as you're saying that Rodgers is going to. And he's wearing a number eight jersey. He's got a Rodgers jersey already. He's already have a Rodgers jersey. He also is reacting to you.

They're like, hey, I'm sitting here.

Sorry, I could not see you, sir. The last time I was going to be able to do it on the back. I'm sitting here, and you're saying that his reaction was pretty. With all due respect. No, no, that's not an overreaction.

I don't blame you. I don't blame you. He's already gotten his Rodgers 8 jersey. That's unbelievable. Good job by you.

It's only Baltimore in the AFC North. No, I I'll call that an overreaction. I think the Bengals are going to make the playoffs this year. How are they better than a year ago? They will be.

To use your analogy, it's where Since this is the end of our show, the full circle. Full circle. In the same way that you're like, well, the Chiefs were lucky here, and they were lucky here, and they were lucky here. That's true, I did say that. The Bengals were.

Um I wouldn't say unlucky to lose to the Patriots. The Patriots won that week one game. They were it was unfortunate that they Ran into Jaden Daniels as he was just making his bones. That's true. I guess you have to play people when you play them.

They started slowly again. I don't think they'll start slowly again. And even with that slow start. and all the problems that they had throughout the season playing defense. They were this close.

To being the team nobody else wanted to see in the AFC that close. And They I can't believe I'm saying this. Uh oh. Should Get their deals done, I know. With Trey Hendrickson.

and with their rookie in Shamar Stewart, that will all get ironed out. And they will be better. And they will not. have the same issues That they had last year, and they will make it back to the playoffs. Those two for sure.

And the Steelers, sir, as you know. Book'em for 10 and 7. You know what I mean?

Maybe 11 and 6. I do think Rogers is going to work out better than you think. Um So I just gave you two, if not three. Not three.

Okay. But definitely more than one. Good job, sir. Good job by you. Chris Brockman pulling it out of every single part of his being to give you 12 ideas.
