Just the other night I dreamt that giant alien bananas from outer space burrowed into the ground and caused earthquakes.

I'm not sure what that means. I mean, it's got to mean something, right? But we're not talking about those types of dreams, huh? Nah, we're talking about dreams. Real dreams. Aspirations. As a matter of fact, I heard the guys from The Masculine Journey talking about that the other day.

Great bunch of guys. But to answer your question, yeah, I got dreams. In fact, that's what brought me here. One day I packed up all my dreams and hopes in a suitcase and headed to the big city. Yeah, I wanted to be a star, you know?

Make a name for myself. See that name up in lights. But as I found out, thousands of people came to the city to be a big shot too.

Seems like a million years ago. But hey, don't feel bad for old Macford. God has me on the right path helping those who can't help themselves. That's why I'm out here walking the streets of the big city, trying to find a lost kitten. Hey, it may not be the most glamorous case, but when a kid hands you their entire piggy bank with tears in their eyes, asking you to find their best friend, Mr. Fluffy Mittens, you hit the streets because this is one dream that this city won't crush. And I'm a seed of that. Well, my name isn't Detective Keith Macford.
