Welcome, fellow adventurers, to the Masculine Journey Joyride Podcast. This is a brand-new show from the guys you know.

I'm talking, of course, about the Band of Brothers. My name is Keith, and I'm the producer for Masculine Journey and Masculine Journey After Hours. In this podcast, you will hear funny stories, exchanges, and thought-provoking moments that will amuse you, make you smile, and draw you closer to Jesus Christ in your journey of life. Welcome all to a brand-new episode of the Joyride. This week, we're hopping into the old masculine journey wayback machine, patent pending, and taking a trip down memory lane. Well, it's gonna be a short trip, but let's face it, gas ain't cheap. Okay, let me get her started here, huh?

Ah, just listen to that engine purr. All right, and away we go. My movie, Princess Bride, has all that. And it's got fencing and fighting and torture and revenge and pirates and escapes.

And Columbo. And so, you know, to set up this clip. And true love. No, I was trying to set it up for you, but you didn't let me get the true love.

Oh, I'm sorry, go ahead. You could have set up true love. No, that was the last one, was true love.

It is true love. And so, you know, kind of neat. Columbo, for those of us who are late 80s satire, you know, love that kind of thing. Yeah, grandma. But Columbo is, and by the way, and Darren himself said he used this movie when his son stayed home sick. Because the setup is that this boy is staying home sick, so his grandpa, who is i.e. Columbo, is gonna tell him this story to try to make his heart come alive. And so he sets it up with this. That's the end of it. That was really good. Did you like that? That was powerful. So from the guys at Masculine Journey, I'm Keith, and we'll see you down the road. This is the Truth Network.
