All right, it is time. If you're listening on the radio, you know that sound. That's me knocking on the iconic plastic tower of beef, which is locked. There's no reason to lock it anymore. Rit hasn't worked here in years.

We used to lock it so Rit wouldn't get in there. Perrin hasn't come around here in years. I mean, just leave that door open. Why not do it, baby? All right.

So if you have beef, hit me up one eight zero zero six three six eight six eight six. You know the rules. You can beef about anything you want, but do me a favor. Can you keep it tight? Get in, get out.

I want to make it rapid fire. I want to keep moving. I want to get through as many phone calls as I can before I get to the written beefs. Hit me up. And remember, not all beef jerky is the same.

Old Trapper is original, old fashioned teriyaki, hot and spicy, and peppered. All come in four ounce bags. That way, you can try the different flavors and find the best one for you. Ask for Old Trapper by name because no other jerky compares Old Trapper with your beef. All right, this was my bad.

I whiffed on this the first time. Let me run it back. I prematurely went to my dude because I thought that he had something to say about the World Series, but. No, he was waiting for this. Miles in Charleston.

Hey, Miles, sorry to hang up on you. What's up, dude? Rome, no worries at all, Jim. I have a beef with these dim-witted hacks that take bath water that they ferment in their sink and call it cranberry lambic or something, and want everyone to drink it. Hey, dude, it's not good when the breweries make it.

It's certainly not good when you make it. Get it out of here. War not having to chase the ambulances, Jim. When you pay the paramedics out. Dude.

He's talking about homebrew guy. He's like, it's not good at the brewery, so why would it be good out of your bathtub or toilet? One eight hundred six three six eight six eight six.

Sorry, that's how we started off, Miles. Anytime he's on hold for a beef segment, I start with him because I know exactly what I'm going to get. Just like I know exactly what I'm going to get from this guy. We go to the Bay Area, Kevin. Kevin, what is your beef?

My beef is with DoorDash customer. He's at a hotel. We agree to meet outside. I text him. I'm on my way.

He texts back. Great. Text him. I'll be there in five. Text him.

Arrived. Get out of my car. Of course, he's nowhere to be found. Go to the lobby.

Nowhere to be found. I wait a few minutes. I call him. He answers. I tell him I'm downstairs.

What does he say? Room. Um. Who is this? Idiot!

Who do you think? Would you forget already? Get off the hippy lettuce, out, Kevin. You're running out of telephone calls. Haven't you made that call like five times?

This is what you signed up for. Your DoorDash guy, DoorDash customer, will do you like that, Kevin? That'd be like every time you call up, or every time we have this segment, I say. Hey, idiot! I got a, I got a beef.

I got a beef with DoorDash. I call up and I ask for a baja fish taco, and then DoorDash guy delivers it to my house, and then I look at the bill and it's seventy four dollars. Hey, idiot! It's fast food. Why did that burrito cost me seventy four dollars?

I am out. That's my beef because I probably will do that. Dude, how many times have you gone to a hotel, Kevin, and had that happen to you? And more importantly, how many times have you called this show during this segment to say that's what happened to you when you had a customer at a hotel? Idiot.

One eight hundred six three six eight six eight six.

I know we do this every single week, but we're not looking for repeat beefs. All right, try to keep the thing original. If you've look, it's one thing if you've heard it. But if you said it, it's even worse. We're not looking for repeat beefs.

What's going on, Nashville? Peter in Nashville. Peter, what's going on? What's your beef? Hey, Jim, Broadcast Hall of Fame, Rome.

How are you? Good, dude. How are you? Man, I'm doing great. I man, I've been listening.

I'm I've been listening since the beginning, man. I've been listening since you were on Celestial Radio, and I had a bootleg your show off the internet. You don't like that call, my brother. I'm super sorry about that. Because you're probably like Rome.

I was just gonna tell you how much I love you in the show and how long I've been listening to you on Celestial Radio. Is that what you just said, Celestial Radio, my guy? Extra Celestial. EC Radio, my brother. Couple of things.

We are not on Celestial Radio. We are on Terrestrial Radio. Number two, what did you not understand about? Hey man, let's get in. Let's get out.

Let's keep it quick. You can't even give me a. Hey, what's up, brother? Been listening for a long, long, long time. Appreciate you.

My beef is. You got to keep the thing moving. Celestial Radio. Celestial Radio. Celestial Radio.

Incredible! You do go way back, dude. Wow! I can remember when I got my start on Celestial Radio. Celestial Radio.

Now, now I really wish I knew what he was going to talk about, but I don't. One eight hundred. Six three six eight six eight six. What's good at Dayton, Alex? Alex, which beef?

Hey, bro. My beefs with this completely unhinged college football season. The Big Twelve, they are who we thought they were, and the Big Ten, Ohio State without a QB is a lame duck. And yes, so are you, Oregon.

Now UCLA and Northwestern are carrying the conference. Talk about revenge of the nerds. The SEC slogan is it just means more. Turns out it just means more mediocre teams. And lastly, is the ACC even a conference, or just a prayer that Miami shows up?

Thanks, Jim. Wow, bro! Straight sports take for a beef. You don't see that very often. Do not see that very often.

Let's go to Arizona, Robert. Good to have you, Robert. What is your beef? Hey, Romy. Thanks again for the call.

Hey, one thing that really bugs me is when you're watching a football game and it's a good play, and the cameras go to the crowds and the front couple rows, and there's a bunch of bratty little eight to ten year old kids giving hand signals and high fives like they bought the tickets. All they're doing is riding their shirttail of their dad who worked their ass off to get the ticket. These kids act like no, they're the ones supporting the team. I'm out. All right, it's kind of getting away from us a little bit.

Can we reset this thing right now? It it's the beef segment. I'm looking at the phone calls. I'm wondering if it's going to get any better. One eight hundred six three six eight six eight six.

Let's try. Let's try Denver. PJ in Denver. PJ, pick me up. PJ, what is your beef?

I can pick you up, Rome. Hey, you didn't whiff on Miles earlier. You gave us all the secret sauce to let him make his best call ever in the jungle when you just hung up on him. My beef is with people who put up those twelve-foot skeletons in their yards, and then you know nothing says horrible judgment like buying that in the first place. The problem is with these people.

Then they. Get too lazy to take down six foot femurs and a body, a rib cage that can hold a child's body in it, and they leave them up all year, dressing them up like turkeys, and then Santa, and then a leprechaun. It is terrible. No one wants to look at that. War replacing Lt.

Hammer with Corvette guy because he's got a harder wife than you. Peace. I mean, if that made it better, we're having a bad segment. If that made it better, I don't know, Tommy. What do you think?

Let's try Humboldt. Maybe that'll help. Anthony in Humboldt. Anthony, what's your beef? Good afternoon, Jim.

Devoted listener, keep listening. But I got a beef with you, man. The other day, you're talking about busting tugger. Referencing, we know that guy. But you said you can control your own ejaculate.

Come on, man! Nothing to think about you and your man mayonnaise. Not cool. Not cool. I'm out, bro.

What are you talking about? That's not what I said. What I said. I'm not even gonna reset. Do I need to reset, busting tugger, dude?

The only reason. The only reason that I referenced a Bustin Dugger and used the word ejaculate, believe me, there's never a day where I roll out and I think to myself, how can I work in the word ejaculate to the program? Ever, dude, ever, never. I don't want to think about that word.

Well, okay, I don't want to use that word on this show ever. The only reason I did was because the Chiefs signed Bustin Tugger to the practice squad, and then I had to go back and reset why he missed ten games last year and what he did to violate the NFL's code of conduct policy, which was responsible for him missing an entire year. And it was actually newsworthy because then Andy Reid had to get up and he got absolutely grilled by the media as to. Why they would sign that guy, and then I went back to a newspaper column, and it's reporting the Baltimore Banner and what they said about Bustin Tugger, and that's where the word ejaculate came from. Believe me, I'm not swerving out of my lane to find a way to work that word into the vernacular or into the program itself.

Well, so you have a beef with me for reporting the news. You have a beef with me for reporting the news and for talking about the one thing that I did not want to talk about—that the clones commandeered the show with. Dude, I opened the show with baseball, and all of chats like, "Why are you not talking about ejaculate, Rome?" And you know who's the ejaculate we're talking about? Bustin' tuggers. I'm like because it's ejaculate.

I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to talk about him. I don't want to talk about it. I'm not talking about it. I'm talking about baseball, my guy.

You got a beef, and I understand the beef, but it shouldn't be with me. It should be with all of your friends in chat. I'm just doing my job, just talking about the news, just reacting to news. One eight hundred six three six. But thanks Humboldt.

Let's go to Vegas, Dennis. In Vegas, good to have you, Dennis. What is your beef? Hello, everybody. My beef is with the company of DoorDash.

Stop sending me four dollar orders, three dollar orders. Gas prices are nine bucks a gallon. Pick it up. You got to pay us, man. Otherwise, my rating goes down, and then I look like an idiot because I'm declining these orders.

I don't want to look like an idiot. Pay us more. I'm out. Thank you. No, thank you, Dennis.

Thank you for starting the phone call by saying hello, everybody. You don't need to address everybody. You don't need to address anybody. You don't even need to address me. You can be like Kevin in San Francisco.

For months, he wouldn't even reference me by name. I'd say, Hey, Kevin, what's your beef? I got a beef with Doordash customers, and I liked it actually. And now we've gone from that to hello everybody, and just state your beef and get in, get out. Can we do that?

State your beef and get in and get out. Hello everybody, hello everybody. Dude, they don't know who you are. Why are you saying hello to everybody? I'm done the phone calls for now.

Normally, that's not my take. Normally, I go way over halftime. I want to get out before halftime and see if the written beefs can pick me up a little bit. Because although the phones are ringing, I'm not really liking what I'm hearing.

So go ahead and hit me up right now on X at Jim Rome. Hit me up at RomanHaveATake dot com. Hit me up in the chat, and I'll see if the phone call is getting better. We're not done. We're at halftime.

It just wasn't one of the better first halves we've had. Hello, everybody. Oh, hello. Welcome to your most rewarding season ever. Only on FanDuel.

How rewarding are we talking? More rewarding than a half-court buzzer beater. More rewarding than a twenty-nine-point comeback. Maybe even more rewarding than a center knocking down a three. I mean, who does not love it when the big man lets it fly?

So the first half of the beef segment just weird and not good. Weird, just weird. Weird. Let's see about the written beefs. See if we get a little rally right here before I get to the written beefs.

Though we have video beefs. I keep forgetting. I don't know why. I keep forgetting to remind you that you can send in video beefs. Luckily, some of you are remembering on your own.

So let's go to the video beefs. First one is from Todd in Portland. Todd, what are you beefing about, dude? What's up? Hey, huge one.

What's up, clones? Yeah, my beef is when friends say, "Hey, can't wait to come see your play." Well, my play closed last weekend. War muscle cars like this awesome Grand Torino, bro. We know you're a T. Rob actor.

We we know that you were in a play. We know that you had a gig. It's right there in your handle. He's saying, "Oh man, can't wait to see your play." Yeah, it was last weekend. Yeah, yeah, we know, Rob.

We know.

So we're just pretending. Anyway, bro, that does kind of suck. But wore that muscle car? Was that your muscle car or somebody else's muscle car? That probably wasn't yours.

Were you just walking down up and down a street looking for the right scene or the right shot? Ah, there's a muscle car. I think I'll do that. Hey, bro, we'll all be at your next play. Just let us know where and when.

Uh oh, the next video beef is from none other than Dino in Vegas. Oh, I can wait. That—that's the best way to do that. Before you actually roll it, give me a little tease of what we're getting ourselves into. That right there is not a good start, Dino.

That looks like Vegas, but not the good Vegas. That looks kind of creepy, but let's go to it. Dino, what is your beef? Hey, Rom, out here doing some landscaping. You know.

Trimming my bush, you know, cleaning it up, and then I found my beef. I'm not a structural engineer, but seems bad. I don't know, bro. You're you're definitely not a structural engineer. You'd have to tell me that.

That's clear to all of us. You know what else is bad besides that? That that beef, dude. I can't lie though, Dean. I'm so glad that ended the way it did because I don't like the way that started.

That you were going around looking at Bush and looking to clean that Bush, and then you found that. I'm so glad that ended the way it did, and not the way I thought it was going to. But I do agree with you on one thing: you are not a structural engineer, Eric, in the South Side. Eric, you've done this. Help me out here, Eric.

One more video beef. What is your beef, dude? Hey, Jim. What's up, clones? So, got another beef with my humans, man.

So, you come to a park, go for a walk, and somebody leaves their trash just laying there, right in the parking lot. And there's one. There's two. There's three. Hey, look!

There's a person, a really good human, right there, dropping their trash in a trash can. What a novel idea! Do better humans. I'm out. Do better humans.

I'm out. I mean, that's like the best we've done so far. Just throw your trash away. All right.

I I'm looking to rally somehow, some way. Let's get some right in beeps and see what we can get. This says my beef is with people that leave a department store or grocery store and don't use the sidewalk to get to their aisle. I don't need to watch their donut eating fat ass walk in a twenty degree angle across the street to get over six rows to their car. Other people want to shop or get home to stay home and use Amazon, y'allard.

Michael in Nashville. Michael does not like the angle they're taking to get to their car. Let's see here, Trader Brent. Romy, my beef is with crap sky. I love throwing the cubes, but the guy that has to give the dots a rubdown, roll them around to the point, and then has his 250 pound hound dog give them blow sends me out.

Throw the bones so us degenerates can give our scratch to the casino. That's strong. That's a strong written beef right there, Brent. Thank you very much. Quote next.

Yeah, I have beef. The entire football world is owed an explanation from the casting director of the new Madden movie. Seriously, who signed off on this, Jim? I have a beef. This is different or the same.

I have a beef with my TV remote control. It doesn't have number buttons. Let's go back to Madden for a minute. Who signed off on this? Nobody has to sign off on this except for that one person in the agency, or in the studio, I should say.

I don't know. It's odd. It's odd. I've only seen the clip that keeps going viral on X of Nick Cage being John Madden, but I can't really respond to the movie. I haven't seen it.

I'll tell you what, though, I probably won't. I have beef with people who can whistle. If it comes up in conversation that you can't whistle, the first thing they do is whistle right in your face. Disrespectful. If it came to my attention that you were illiterate, I wouldn't break out to kill Mockingbird and read you a chapter.

Wade in Virginia. Have we all read that book? Hey Tommy, did you read that book in seventh grade? And then, did you get to watch the movie? Did they make you watch the movie too, Gregory Peck?

And was *Lord of the Flies* the book that you read the next year? There you go, right? Take ding. *Kill Mockingbird* was I. *Lord of the Flies* scared the bleep out of me, man.

It's like the Hunger Games for a different generation. B Blaine, sixty nine. Wisco Jim, my beef is with the person constantly doing the car honk with the keyless lock. We all know your car is locked. Do you?

Rome, my unbeef is with the ref show. They stop throwing laundry to help the Chiefs win games. Finally, Todd in San Diego. Finally, this is not the unbeef segment. Tinfoil Todd.

Tinfoil Toddie. Hey, rule! My beef is with my kook neighbor who can't stand when my lawn is shorter than hers. Every time I mow, she has to run outside and mow hers too, only slightly shorter.

So yesterday, I mowed just after dark because I knew that this bat is too old to see in the dark, and she had to sleep all night knowing my lawn was shorter. Suck it, Deborah, Chad from Orlando. Uh oh, Aaron in Iowa. Rome, my beef is with Tampa Bay not showing up for what I thought was going to be a seven-game thriller, and more importantly, for letting Wisco cuckold you in the trop. Do better.

More importantly. My beef is the Jeep drivers cruising around with ducks or frogs or whatever the hell they have all over their dashboard. Is it supposed to be cute or funny or have some sort of meaning? I don't get it. Even my ten-year-old daughter thinks it's lame.

LJ and KC. I have a beef with a guy. I politely honked my horn at the green turn arrow this morning. I gave a two Mississippi count before giving a courtesy beep of the horn to get the turn lane moving this morning. I was met with a furious stare, as if I'm the jerk off who's out of line.

Put that cell phone down. If you can't focus on two things at once, then just work on the driving. Down. I'm telling you, depends where you live. Here in parts of SoCal, the horn is reason to go.

Other parts of the country, it's just a way of life. Chronic underachiever. My beef is with polite callers. None of us deserve courtesy. State your business.

Hang up and get ridiculed as needed. Hello, everybody. There you go. TFP will eat my beef is clones having inside baseball conversations on X or the chat. No one cares.

Just text that crap to each other. It's kind of what chats become, though, right? All right, let's go back to the phones. See if we can somehow salvage this segment. Let's go to my man, Ah Juan in Austin.

Yo, Juan. What is your beef, Juan? Romy, my beef is with the olds who call in on the beef section and then they try to catch up from twenty-five years ago. Keep it tight, old bag. Out.

Nice job, Juan. That's how it's done. Rock him. My beef is with the olds. Trying to talk about how long they've been listening.

Keep it tight, olds. Get out, bag. Let's stay in Texas. I'm gonna play the hot hand. The hot hand being one call.

Bodie in Pearland. Bubba, what is your beef? Bubba, you hear me? Yeah, I got you. You hear me?

I got you, Bub. I I don't know.

Sounds weird, but Bub, you know what? I hate. I got a beef with. You go to party and you know, friends. They got their big dog, you know.

And of course, you go to the party. You know, you bringing a plate of food or something. And then, right as you walk into some bitch, come smelling you around your crotch and buttocks and stuff. Man, that's the most embarrassing thing in the world. And you got some some bitch.

Ah, Bub, you ain't taking back some bitch. Man, I hate that, Bubba. I'm out. That's so funny, Bodie. You just third person yourself.

You come to a party, you bring some food. Then the host has got a big dog, and that some bitch is smelling you around your crotch and your buttocks. Bodie ain't taking that. I'm out, Bubba. Two for two.

Buttocks. I. Should have stayed in Texas. That is embarrassing, man. Where to, Scott?

Again, twice. Let's go to Orlando. He made it through his first call. Scott in Orlando. Scott, what's your beef?

Hey Jim, how you doing? You know I'm a big music guy. We talk mats all the time. My beef is with this halftime show for the Super Bowl. I don't know how Chaz can react, but I'm already leaving the room for this current crop of farming tripe that's up there.

And now the head honcho of the committee is apparently going to quote, "crazes" with his presence. Oh my God! I'm probably going to go outside and stick my head in the sand until it's over. I told you. I don't know what Goodell and the NFL are thinking, but war bringing back some rock and roll to the halftime show.

I'm out, dude. I don't think they're going to ask Westerberg to do the halftime show. I don't think the mats are going to get that call. I mean, I'm there for it. I'd be one of those olds running up to the front with my fluorescent necklace.

Yeah, yeah. Did did anybody get rocked? I think one. Scott, you've called twice. You haven't gotten rocked.

You're over two. Anybody else? Kentucky. That I like to see always. Anthony in Kentucky.

Man, I'm still grinding through this thing. Anthony, what's your beef? Hey, Romy. My beef is with Packers fans complaining all week about the ref show when wide receiver one and two can't seem to get the butter from the pregame popcorn off their fingers. Better luck, game two.

La loser out. There you go, Anthony. It's true. Hey, look, I'm not saying that the ref show did a good job in that game, but I'm not saying that the ref show cost you that game. You did more to hurt yourselves than they did to hurt you.

Honestly, let's go to Southern Oregon, Jeff. You made it, Jeff. Good to have you. What's your beef, Rome? My beef is I got the jungle tracks and I can't get it on my head.

I go to church and we're preachers talking about John and keeps going. Oh, let's read this in John and all I think about is, Hey, John. John, this. Hey, John. That's all I thought about all church.

Mount, my man. That's so good. Jeff. Hey, John. Jeff, believe me.

That's if if Hey, John is your jungle Tourette. You're suffering from a singular Tourette. It's going to get much worse. I like the way he also positioned it and framed it. It's Alex Hardy that he attained the jungle Tourettes, like attaining the hive.

I'm in church and the pastor is going on about John, and all I can think is John this and John that and John and John and then then then John and hey John. Hey John, his wife's probably just kicking him, elbowing him. He's like, "Hey John, hey John." I don't think that the pastor sounded like that. I think he probably said, "Oh John," the good book says that John. Hey John, that there's John, and then there's John Elway.

I don't think your pastor was talking about John Elway. I mean, maybe. I don't think he was going there. I mean, I wasn't there for that sermon, but I don't, I don't think that the pastor was going. Hey, John.

Hey, horse face. Time to see Mister Rome. Giddy up, giddy up, horse face. Come on, girl. Come on.

Come on, girl. Come on. Thank you to John Elway. Man, we are off the rails. I'm trying to get this thing back and finish it.

I need some closure. Kane in L.A. Kane, what's your beef, Jimbo? My beef is office Halloween costume parties. You know who I'm dressed up as?

I'm an overworked, underpaid millennial who doesn't want to be here.

Now give me my third place gift card. War, Patrick Stewart, R.I.P. Nice job, dude. You know I am dressed up as an overworked, underpaid millennial. Yeah, I know that guy.

I know that guy well. Kane, hey Kane, do you work here? Unbelievable. Let's go to Minnesota. I am not done.

I am not done. They keep coming. Jay in Minnesota, Jay, what's your beef? Yeah, hey Rome, my beef is with that guy who called this the beef section. It's called a segment.

Learn words. I'm out. It's my guy, Juan, dude. Juan, Juan was the one who's got who got us back on track, actually, with his submission to the beef section. Come on, Juan knows.

You got to cut that guy some slack. I can't really walk off yet. I'm not done yet. Let's go to NorCal, Ron. In NorCal, you made it in, Ron.

Good to have you. What's your beef? Yeah, drivers in roundabouts. If you can't safely approach, navigate through, and safely exit a roundabout, do yourself a favor: sell your car, cancel your license, cancel your insurance. It's not a four-way stop, idiots.

If a vehicle is not close enough, present a hazard. You don't have to stop. I'm out. No, it's true, dude. But roundabouts.

I got to be fair. If you don't know a round roundabout, some of them are fair.

Okay, I'm just gonna say it.

Some of them are fairly complicated for some drivers. If you've never seen a particular roundabout, some are really easy. It just says yield, so you yield.

So I no longer live in that area with that roundabout. But I'm telling you, I had more issues with that one roundabout because I drove that roundabout every single day. It was not that hard to navigate after you've done it every single day for years. Yet every single day there was somebody that would not yield, and I lean on that.

So hard, and then I'd get one of those looks. Like, go, you want to go? You know what I got under my seat? You know what I got in my glove compartment? I'm like, do you know how to read?

It says, yield, asshole, yield, yield is not hard. Yield means look and wait. If nobody's coming, you can drive through. But I'm coming around. Yield.

I have right of way. Yeah, I feel you. But then I've gone to other roundabouts where I've never been that are like almost three dimensional. Like, damn, what's going on here? If I am having trouble with this, I know there is a lot of people having a lot of trouble with this.

Are we done yet? No, I don't think so. Milwaukee, Robert in Milwaukee, Robert, what's your beef? Hey Jim, dude, my beef is with Fox Sports play-by-play guy slash Dodger shill. Slash Misurowski hater Joe Davis, this guy had the gall, Jim, to criticize the Mis the entire playoffs, all while my guy is on his way to a Cy Young and World Championship.

Joe is a hack turd who's too busy chasing Misurowski's jock.

So as far as I'm concerned, Joe, you and your biased ass analysis can go kiss my rosin bag. War the MLB salary cap era, Jim. Out. Wow, Robert in Milwaukee. That's one of the internet's favorite takes that Joe Davis is the biggest Dodger honk ever, and every time he gets on the air, he hates on anybody who's not with the Dodgers.

I don't. I like he's been in a horrible mood ever since his Dodgers, like Dodger Joe, ever since his Dodgers got eliminated. I got to be honest, I I don't hear it, I don't see it. I I know you all do, but I I don't have an issue with it. But but that was funny, that was funny.

All right, so we hit the forty minute mark. I need somebody to walk me off. Who should it be? Where should we go? Let's go to Scottsdale.

Somebody walk me off, Dino in Scottsdale. Dino, can you walk us off? What is your beef? Yeah, hello, Jim. Hey, my beef is with your flip phone owning clones that have to ask you, "Hey, Jim, can you hear me?" Well, clones is plural.

Actually, only one guy did it, and that was Bubba, and I'm not or Bodie, and I'm not really sure why Bodie did that because Bodie's been calling the show for years. But Bodie said there's something going on. Can you hear me, man? By the way, bro, the quality. If you're gonna call up and say, "Hey, hey, Rome, I've got a beef with your clones on their flip phones," asking, "Can you hear me?" When the quality of your phone is as bad as any other phone that I've ever.

Heard, my man. If you're gonna call about other clones on their flip phones, you should not be calling from a flip phone. This sounded even worse. There's a word for that. There's a word for that.

What is it? Oh, that's right, hypocrite. Bro, your sound quality was terrible. I can't walk off on that. Let's go to Northeast Portland.

We're getting really directional with it, aren't we? We're getting really specific and really directional with it. Let's go not not to Portland, but rather northeast Portland. Mike, in northeast Portland. I'm in southeast Orange County.

Let's go to northeast Portland, Mike. What is your beef? We are kind of directional up here in Portland, Oregon. Just, just like the roundabouts are, you know, they can't just put in a roundabout. It's a pretty simple thing, right?

It goes around in circles, and you got a couple yield signs. No, up here they got to paint the street, they got to put in lights, they got to put in vertical directional barriers. I don't get it. Roundabouts are real simple. Figure it out.

Thanks, Jimmy. Yeah, no, that's what I'm saying.

Some of them are pretty complex. You actually just stated what I said. I've driven up on a few that look kind of three dimensional because you're right; they're elevated. All of a sudden, now there are arrows. There is a divider.

Like, why did this? Why is this so hard? What happened to just the roundabout? And a yield sign or two. The one that I was complaining about, that I got so fired up about, there was at our old house was just a basic roundabout, and I hit that basic roundabout every single day on the way to work.

Still, even though we moved, because that's where my Starbucks is. But it's early in the morning.

However, when I used to come home during rush hour traffic and hit that roundabout, there was always some jerk who couldn't figure out what yield meant. I would try to blow right through it, and so now I've got to yield to the person who should be yielding to me. And you know, for a while, you're like, "What's a big deal, man? Take it easy, Rome. Just play defense once in a while." Yeah, but when it happens every single day, and you don't know the rules of the road, it starts to get on my nerves.

So then I start to get on my horn, and then I find that one guy, the one guy who's having a bad life, and then you got a problem. All right.

The problem is we've set a record—forty-four minutes. Why? How can I even justify that? Forty-four minutes. It really wasn't even that good.

It was just long. Forty-four minutes, and the phones just never stopped ringing. They're still ringing. Credit to me for staying in the fight, and zero credit to you for making me stay in the fight. For real.

For real. Let's get out. I want to remind you. I did a podcast yesterday. You know, it's not often you do a podcast with somebody that you've known about for a long time, who's known about you for a long time, and I've never spoken to that person.

Former NBA coach David Fizdale, and he's known about me for a long time because he's an LA native, played his college basketball in San Diego, so he's known about the show for a long time. Of course, I've known about him for a long time. Yet we've never come together until yesterday, and had an awesome, awesome conversation.

So I would encourage you to look for that when the show's over, or this weekend, or whenever you can get to it. Episode four thirty two of the Jim Rome Podcast with David Fizdale. It's good stuff. All right, stay tuned. We'll come back.

We're not done yet. You're listening to the Jim Rome Show.

All right, that was something. Ah, the Tower Beep's still here. Why not? It was 44 minutes. My thanks to my pals at Old Trapper.

Love these guys. Love that family. Love that relationship. Really quickly, Snagger with two G's. Happy National Cat Day, mate.

Yours, Elk. More Fresno Mario's cat missing the litter box on purpose. Jay in the STL. We see cat right. Today actually is National Cat Day.

However, we see cat mate. Only elk, only elk, could turn a phrase like that, and did so back in the day. We see cat mate. We see cat mate. Incredible.

All right.

Anything else on the way out the door? We got a game tonight. James Kelly and I talked about it yesterday during our FanDuel segment. It is the Packers and the Panthers, and at last check, if you're into this type of thing, it's the Packers laying three and a half. The Panthers have this absolutely unbelievable number after getting beaten ATS, and they got blown out last year at home, and they came back the next day.

So James Kelly and I both took the Panthers tonight and the points. By the way, Wisco fan, Packer fan, do you even care? Do you even care what happens tonight? Probably not that much. Not after what happened last night.

Something else I was going to get to today, and I did not. I wanted to shout out my favorite new rook in the association, Yaksel. He's added it, added again, and I mean that positively. Yak's nothing but love. Maybe tomorrow, get a free Mobil One oil filter with the purchase of five quarts of Mobil One Advanced Clean Motor Oil at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Limited supply. Plus, receive a ten dollars O'Reilly gift card and a Tyler Reddick poster after rebate, while supplies last. Only at O'Reilly Auto Parts. We're done. Have a great day!
