Did you ever wonder? Did you ever wonder?

I do. Did you ever wonder? Why the sun always rises but the stars never fall?

Why dry land is never satisfied by water? And why fire never says enough? Enough. I'm looking at for some time over the last week or so, God keeps showing me these things, but in Job 41 18, there's this really cool verse, and it's taken me a long time to kind of figure out what it means, but when you read it in the King James Version, it says, So, there's really some interesting clues in this verse that I think speak directly to the fact that what God is describing here is Satan himself, and also give us an idea what it's like when we've actually experienced that in someone. And so, you know, one of the joys I have here at the Truth Network is getting to do a lot of different radio shows, and one of them I do is Landon Rescue, which is a team that goes around the world rescuing girls from sex trafficking. And when interviewing those guys, I've often asked them, you know, because they're wonderful Christian men, how do you keep from killing these people? And, you know, when you see the kind of stuff that they do to these poor girls, and they all seem to come down on the same issue, they said, we usually are just fine with just arresting them and those kind of things, but when they give you that sneer, you know, that sneer is like, not only am I doing this to people, but I'm enjoying doing it to people.

And when you see that, it's really, really hard to, you know, really not get furious, not get angry about that. So, if we look at this idea of this nessings, which sometimes is translated sneezing, but probably more accurately, or more accurately translated snortings, it says that he snorts a light that shines. Well, that's a very interesting thing. The word that says, you know, nessings is a word that just stands all out on his own. And it has the idea of this quick breath.

And I think that if you've ever been sneered at, you kind of know the breath I'm talking about. Then it says a light, which is a traditional word like God created light, and then it says it shines. Well, that word is halal. You may have heard it in that it means praise, but it also means boasting. And so, I don't know if you've ever noticed the glint that's in somebody's eyes when they sneer.

But it's a light, but it's kind of like a false light. It's kind of like somebody that's delighting in their own glory, and it completely is boasting. It's completely taking what's good and turning it to the worst possible part of evil, and then pretty much telling everybody that that's what you're doing. So, if you're like me, you can picture this sneer. You've seen it in people before and realize that what it's telling you is that these people have been completely deceived by Satan. And you're actually almost getting a look at Satan himself, because I've seen this look in the eyes. It's like his eyelids are of the morning. Well, this picture of eyelids of the morning, you might recall, is Satan sometimes called the angel of the morning. Actually, in Isaiah 14, 12, it says, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations? See this word, son of the morning, that word morning right there is the same word that's used in Job that we just talked about, 41.

18. That idea of here's light that's coming out, but this light is not the same light that comes from Jesus. This is a light that is actually searching out evil.

Have you ever seen somebody that can find the bad in anything? Well, there's a light that looks like this, and you might remember in Matthew 6 22, Jesus said, The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness?

But you notice what he says? He says, If that light within you is darkness, then how great is that darkness? And this is a picture of what God is showing us about a different kind of light. That light that's in those eyes of that person that sneers is like you're looking at a light that is Satan itself. You get that light in your eyes when you go looking for the bad in things, where you're hungry for pictures that you shouldn't look at, or you're hungry for something that you know would be in defiance of God, and wow, it gets dark and it gets dark quick. Pray with me that God will help protect us from this light and from ever having that sneer. Do we ever render? I do.
