He gave us the green light today so you know he'll take warm up and but I think he'll be in. Now we all know what you know he provides in the dynamic offensive ability but what do you need to see from Martin to get him to take it to the next level especially as we get deeper into the season? Well I think it's probably what we've talked about really is the whole tenure here is just being a little more consistent on a game in game basis right.

We know the flash is there. We know the high skill level and everything but can we just on a shift by shift basis just be a little more consistent in the overall game because we don't really even need the highs and lows. We just kind of we love the highs but we don't want to have the the other periods of time that go on so maybe maybe a little more consistent with his overall game. So the last couple of practices you had him skating with Jack Drury and Steph Nason and it kind of rung a bell for me because there were a couple of games where those three played together and I thought it might have been the best Martin played all year long. Is that is is that the reason maybe you put those three together again?

What's your thought process? Yeah you know you're right and we put him when he missed some time and put him with those two guys they were good and he's obviously missed some time here so kind of makes sense to hopefully see that again because you're right I thought those were some of his best games that he had played. And I want to get to the other two guys on that line. It looks to me like Jack Drury and Steph Nason have some chemistry together.

Do you see that? Yeah they definitely have you know a good good vibe together. They played together a lot obviously not just here but in Chicago when they were together in the minors and you know at the end of the day I think their styles fit well. Right they're two guys that are gonna play hard every night and do it right and you know do a little plays the little things that make you successful and they don't really deviate too far from that so I think that's why they connect well together.

What have you liked? I mean you've said all year long that you thought Jack was playing very well but now the production is catching up to everything else. Is he getting more comfortable? What do you see from him in his development? Well I don't see any different other than the puck's been going in and you know which is it's a big deal but he was getting opportunities before you know he had a lot of goals that got called back he was he was this guy that was just like nothing was quite work going his way but it wasn't from a lack of effort or from a lack of playing well I just think he's you know that process part just keeps sticking with what you're doing if it's doing you know you're playing well and you know over time it should work out I think that's kind of what's happening with him. The game on Monday afternoon notwithstanding and I don't think anybody would would fault Ante Ranta for any of the goals that were allowed. Ante's played very well since being recalled from Chicago.
