Uh Greetings, friends and new listeners, and welcome to this program of the R.G. Hardy Ministries. I'm Sharon Knotts, thanking you for joining us today as we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Today's message by my father, Brother Hardy, is from his classic series, New Creation Sons of God. A hallmark scripture of Christians is 2 Corinthians 5:17.
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. and this new creature is a son of God, or a child of God. You see, the term son of God in New Testament Scripture is not a gender determiner, but rather a legal position, which Brother Hardy explains, and so much more in this in depth teaching, New Creation Sons of God. Thanks be to God for this unspeakable gift. I'm in Christ.
How many have sinned Christ? I'm not in the world. I'm not in the world. I'm not in the sphere where Satan dominates, where lust dominates, and sin dominates, and fear dominates. I'm in Christ.
I'm in the realm where Jesus is supreme, where Jesus is Lord, where the hallmark of it is peace, where there is joy, where there is happiness, where there is power, where there is liberty. For if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. Hallelujah. I'm a member of a new order. of a super race.
Born from above. That's what that word born again means. It has that little preposition ANA in front of it in the Greek, which means from up. Born from above. I've been born from above.
You know, a whole lot of people, all the Christians, know who your father is. Who's your father? Almighty God. But very few know who their mother is. The natural man calls his mother Mother Earth.
But the spiritual man has his mother. There has to be a mother and father. in order for there to be have children. I mean try to have children without a mother and father. Try two mothers that have a child or two fathers.
It just won't work. You gotta have a mother and a father. And in order to have spiritual children, God had to have a wife, as it were, or we had to have a mother, as it were. And in Galatians, Paul said, and Jerusalem, which is above, is the mother of us all.
So heaven, the heavenly Jerusalem is our mother, and God is our father, and we have been born from above. Born the second time. A spiritual being. With the attributes Of our picnic. Almighty God.
With his nature. As Peter said in 2 Peter 1, 4 and 5. We are partakers of this Divine God nature. When we got born into the family of Adam. We partook.
of Adam's nature. And Adam's nature was a fallen... sinful nature. A nature dominated by fear. and dominated by lust.
and ruled by Satan through these things. Fearful. Afraid. And too many of God's children let this old mind linger over into their lives. Fearful.
You're not to be afraid of anything. I said you're not to be afraid of anything. Paul said that fear has torment. And Paul said, if we dwell in love, he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God. And then he said, for God is love.
So we're supposed to be dwelling in the peace. of the love of God. He that twelveth in love twelve in God. And there is No fear in love. In our dwelling place of the love of God, there's nothing to fear.
That's the old man. The old man has to fear. He has to fear the devil and his demons. And he has to fear the retribution of God. But a new creature now dwelling in the love of God.
Does none have to fear God because God loves him? And there's nothing to fear from God. And we don't have to fear the devil and his demons because Jesus said, Behold, I give you power over all of the power of the devil. And you shall tread upon serpents and scorpions, and nothing by any means shall hurt you. Oh, that fear mind, that fear nature is the old man.
It's not the new man's nature. The new man's nature is the nature of faith and love, and nothing can defeat and overcome love and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, if you please. We need to think as a new creature. You need to get up in the morning and look in the mirror. and say, I am no longer.
A limited son of Adam. I am no longer under the dominance of Satan. and his demons. I am a child of God. Right now, I am a son of God.
John said, now, now are we the sons of God? Right now we're the sons of God. We're not going to be the sons of God in the sweet by and by. We are the sons of God right now. The only thing that we're going to get in the sweet by and by is our glorified body to make us able to live in the supernatural, eternal world forever.
This body's only equipped to live in this physical Natural world. And it's not fit and equipped to live in eternity in heaven. And that's why it's got to be changed. But right now in this body, in this physical world, I am a son of God. I have the new nature of God.
I am a divine man. I am not afraid of the devil. In fact, the devil better be afraid of me because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. And through this Christ that is in me, energizing me, and the source of my power, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me and gives me his ability. I tell you, that's something to clap about.
Give him a good one. Hallelujah. You need to say it now. See, I'm no longer a son of Adam. I'm not no longer a mere man of flesh.
I am born from above. My Father is Almighty God. My mother is Jerusalem. I have a divine nature. I have the nature of God.
No more is the devil in me. But God is in me. No more am I limited. But the God in me energizes me. And I can.
Do all things. Through Christ. Who is the source? of my strength and abilities. I am not afraid of the devil.
Or his demons. For the devil better be afraid of me. For God. has put at my disposal. Power to tread upon serpents.
and scorpions get over all of the power of the devil. And in Christ. I am more than I conquer. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.
Praise his wonderful name. Every morning. Every morning. You need to look in that mirror. and remind yourself who you are.
Every morning you should say. There is nothing that's going to come across my path. And in my life today, That I, as the Son of God, Partaker of Isnu. Spiritual divine nature. being energized by him.
And he being with me. There is nothing that shall come across my path today. That I through the energizing. and the abilities of Jesus. that I cannot handle.
and that I will come through this day. More than a conqueror. through him that loves me. And I have nothing to fear. Because greater is he that is in me.
than he that is in the world. You know what a good definition of faith is to fear? It said, fear knock on the door. Faith answered. There wasn't nobody there.
When you have faith It casts out fear. Perfect love. The Bible said, cast out fear. There is no fear in love. And he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and we're dwelling in the love of God, and there's nothing to fear.
God's perfect love cast out the fear. Instead like I'm saying The devil better be afraid. Not because who we are in ourselves. but because what we are that God has made us. The devil better be afraid because of him.
That is in us. and energizing us. You need to brainwash yourself every morning. When fear tries to come in. You need to push it on out of the way.
You say that belongs to the old man. The old man's got a lot to be afraid of. That doesn't belong to the new man. The new man doesn't have anything to be afraid of because Paul said in the second chapter of Romans, unto them who by patient continuance and well-doing look for glory, honor. I'm looking for glory and honor.
Not defeat. And bondage, if you please. Saying I'm a new creature. You need to point your finger and say, hey. Don't you know who you are?
You are a son of God. Don't you know who's in you? Jesus is in you. The Spirit of God is in you. Don't you know what that means?
Trader! Because he That's in you And he's making you greater. Than he that is in the world. No matter what comes. You can say, you can do it, Hardy.
You can do all things. Remember. Frice! It's energizing you. Don't think in your own mind.
In your own self, you can't do it. But you're no longer in yourself, you're in Christ. For if any man be in Christ, he is this new, powerful member of a new super race. Being conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ. Being made just like him.
If you please. That's bringing me to. My next point. We're bigging. Transform into the image of Jesus.
In 2 Corinthians. 318. Maybe I could quote the verse above. Paul says And we all, every one of God's children. With open face now reading it there you might not understand this open face But if you read the whole third chapter of 2 Corinthians to talk about Moses, Coming down from the mouth of God.
with the Ten Commandments. after being in God's presence 40 days. And being in the presence 40 days, he like a sponge began to absorb the glory of God. until his face began to shine. Like the sun.
And when he came down and Israel saw it, they got scared of the glory. They got scared of the image of God because you see, man don't want to look at God's face. It reminds them of their sinfulness and reminds them of their. Right to be penalized with the penalty of death. And they told Moses, well, we can't look at you.
And Moses had a stick of veil over his face. The hide The image or the likeness The glory, the shekina. of Almighty God that he soaked up being in God's presence 40 days. And Paul said, we're not like them. We not only can look at the glory But we're like a person With the veil off.
The covering off Looking in a mirror glass. And we all, with open face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord. We are changed. The King James says we are changed. But the Greek says we are being changed.
It's a process. In the Greek grammar, it means you're in a process of being changed. Of course, the rest of the verse tells you that. We are being changed from glory. to glory.
even as by the Spirit of the Lord. You see when we get born again. And the Spirit of God takes the blood and cleanses us. and the seed, the word of God, and begets us. Then the divine nature.
The God nature. is being formed in us. And day by day, As we obeyed Peter when he said, Desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. Just like a baby grows by drinking the milk. The babe in Christ grows hiding the word of God, the censor milk of the word.
And as we grow, the baby begins to change. and the characteristics of a baby changes. And he begins to get the characteristics. of a grown-up. And as we desire the sincere book of the word and feast on it, all the baby characteristics of a Christian.
Began to change, and we began to see them mature characteristics. of a mature victorious Christ. We are being changed. Day by day. Moment by moment.
the whole process of our Christian life. When we're first saved, we're like a baby. We still got the mind of the old man. We're still fearful. The devil can make an ugly face and scare us.
He can make horrible sounds and scare us. We're acting like a baby. We still got the characteristics of a baby. We might slip and do things we shouldn't do. We're acting like a baby.
We might say some things we shouldn't say. We're acting like a baby. But you hang on in there and you continue to drink the sincere milk, the pure word of God. Then pretty soon you're going to get teeth. And God's going to begin to add to your milk diet the bread of life.
Hey, and as your digestive system matures spiritually, God's going to add some meat to your diet. Hey, and you begin to see the attributes and the characteristics of a mature Christ being more prominent day by day until God is waiting until you become 21 in the spirit until you are in the measure of the fullness of the stature of Christ that henceforth you're not a child tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and the slight of men and cunning crampedness whereby they lie in wait to deceive. Instead, you speak the truth in love, and you grow up into Him in all things. Just hang on in there and continue to drink the milk and eat the bread and eat the meat. And one of these days, you are going to be fully matured in Christ.
One of these days, you are going to be spiritually 21. As Paul said in this Ephesians, the 4th chapter, you're going to be as tall as Christ, as broad as Christ, as strong as Christ, because it is Christ that is in you. energizing you and strengthening you and giving you his abilities if you please. See, when you get born again, You're in the Baby stage. But you can see the attributes and the characteristics.
Even in an infant stage, it's there. You can see some of the likeness of the family that's there. And ash You ingest the word of God. You drink the sincere manner milk. of the spirit.
Naj. Your spiritual digestive system grows. You can stay in bread and strong meat. You get out of that baby stage to a crawling stage. Then you're a toddler.
Then you're preschool. Can you school age? Then pretty soon you're in middle school. Pretty soon. You're in junior high.
Pretty soon you're a teenager, which means sometimes you act like a grown-up, and then sometimes you act like. A kid. You see some Christians that way? Don't condemn them. Just pray for them and try to bring them a little bit more meat.
Just try to give them a little bit more meat. But oh one day You break out of your teams. You graduate from high school. Mama can't give you a little bit of Melbourne toast anymore. That won't do.
She's gonna make some biscuits Maybe some grits. and some gravy. You got to put something on there because your teeth are all the way in and your digestive tract. has matured and you're an adult and you've got the characteristics of an adult. You are a mature son of God.
And that's what God is looking for the whole church to arrive at, the fullness of the measure of the stature of Christ. And when we do and speak the truth and love, we're going to bring a revival to this world that it'll turn it upside down from center to circumference. Oh, give him a good battle all through it. Amen.
