In her hit song, Firework, Katy Perry said, Do you ever feel like a paper bag in the wind? Hi, this is Lon Solomon. That's quite a word picture, isn't it?
A paper bag blowing around in the wind. Nobody cares about it. Nobody's got any use for it. Well, a lot of times I think in our world we do feel like that. Ah, but I got great news for you from the Bible, and that is that Jesus Christ knows every one of us. He cares about every one of us, and He notices every one of us, and He would like to take your life and my life and make them a whole lot more than a paper bag in the wind. Not a sermon, just a thought.
