The Jewish people around the world remembered the destruction of the first and second temples, and the current situation in the Middle East is pushing the world closer to God's timeline for the battle of Gog and Magog. Iran's nuclear ambitions and its role in the region are key factors in this scenario. The rapture of the church could happen soon, and the events unfolding in the Middle East are setting the stage for the tribulation period. Trust in God is essential, and understanding Bible prophecy can give us confidence and security in these uncertain times.

Welcome to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy the Young Jr., and along with my brother Rick, we examine current events in the light of God's prophetic word. This past week, the Jewish people around the world remembered the destruction of the first and second temples. On the ninth day of Ov on the Jewish calendar, both temples were destroyed, and they're ready to rebuild another. The only problem is that The Dome of the Rock is controlled by the Muslims.

As we watch the news, it seems like all-out war is going to break out in the Middle East. What does that mean for us as believers? Seems like now, more than ever, we need to trust God's word. You know, the word translated trust in the Bible literally means. A bold, confident, secure security.

Or action based on that security. Trust is not exactly the same as faith, which is a gift of God. Rather, trusting is what we do because of the faith. We have been given. Trusting is believing in the promises of God in all circumstances, even those where the evidence seems to be to the contrary.

On this week's program, we're going to find out a lot of information about what's happening around the world. We've got Ken Timmerman, David Dolan, and Sharam Hadian that are going to give us a lot of information. Based on what is taking place at this very moment. Rick, we've got a lot to cover today, so let's get started with our first, Ken Timmerman.

Well that's right, Jimmy. I have Ken Timmerman with us. He is our expert in geopolitical affairs. He's an author and an analyst. You can find out more about him by going to his website at ken Timmerman dot com.

Ken, thanks for being with us today. Thanks for having me on, Rick. It's always a pleasure. Ken, we'll start off with the situation in the Middle East where President Trump said he is considering another even larger military operation in Iran. Can you talk about this?

You know, we have already had two weeks of nightly attacks, nightly bombings by aircraft under CENTCOM control. The Israelis have not joined the attacks, by the way. Very interesting. And they are thinking about joining next week, Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is coming to Washington on Tuesday. That was announced on Friday.

But the U.S. attacks are finally beginning to degrade the IRGC's assets in the Strait of Hormuz and in the neighboring provinces where they're launching missiles and drones onto commercial shipping. The IRGC has started to take notice. They are increasingly upset. One of their government spokesmen said on the TV this week that the neighboring Arabs should evacuate the area.

It's time for them to leave. The age of brotherly relations is over. No more good neighbors from the Iranians.

So things are really picking up. We've seen a lot of military assets being streamed in. To the region on Thursday, plane spotters in Britain saw two Gulfstream E-37B aircraft. These are electronic warfare aircraft called Compass Call. They're brand new.

They're based on a Gulfstream G550 business jet, but they are crammed with the latest of jamming equipment. And it's not just to jam conventional radar systems, but to conduct offensive electromagnetic warfare.

Sounds a bit like the discombobulator to me, Rick. But they're there to disrupt enemy communications, command and control networks, even their data links.

So, this is serious stuff. More combat aircraft are coming in. We have enormous capabilities. And the President said on Thursday that he was considering a massive attack, not just these nightly attacks that have been going on for two weeks, but a massive attack because he's fed up with the Iranian regime. He says you can't trust them.

They're not negotiating in good faith, and everybody can see that. And the Iranians themselves say they do not want to have a deal with the United States. The MOU, the Memorandum of Understanding, is over.

So I think we're getting ready for the big one, Rick.

Well, that certainly is what it seems like. And we look at this situation. There are those on both President Trump's political left and political right that are discouraging any escalation in operation, but there are others that are urging him to finish what he started here as it relates to the IRGC. Can you talk about those kind of opposite forces pulling on the President?

Well, most of them are Republicans. One, of course, is Senator John Fetterman, Democrat from Pennsylvania, but the only Democrat who has really swung solidly behind this war because of his sympathies for the state of Israel and because of his understanding of America's role in the Middle East. Senator Tim Sheehy, a Republican, who's also a former special forces officer, took to the Senate floor this week and gave just a stunning speech in support of the war. He said, yes, this is indeed a war of choice, but it was chosen by whack jobs in Iran 47 years ago against us. Here's just a quick quote: He said, They don't want us to disappear with a snap of a finger, they want us to be raped, burned alive, and cut into pieces.

And he went on to talk about comrades in arms of his who had been cut in half by Iranian roadside bombs in Iraq, these explosively formed penetrators that were so deadly. They killed anywhere between 800 and 1,000 U.S. troops in Iraq during the war between roughly 2006 and 2008. The Iranians are sending their IRGC commanders to Yemen Rick. That's something else that's important.

The Houthis are joining the war. They have already targeted Red Sea shipping. Trump has said: we are going to hold Iran responsible for every missile or drone launched by the Houthis. It's not launched by the Houthis. It's launched by Iran.

And the President is absolutely right to do so. More news coming out of the Middle East, Ken, as we look at the different countries in that region. Saudi Arabia signing a nuclear deal. Very interesting. I'd love to get your thoughts on this.

Well, what I found most interesting about it was the reaction of Democrats in Congress. They said they screamed bloody murder and they said, We can't allow Saudi Arabia to get enrichment technology. That would be terrible. It would be a step towards a nuclear war in the Middle East.

Well, just 11 years ago, those same Democrats were praising Barack Obama for signing the nuclear deal with Iran that allowed Iran to maintain their enrichment centrifuges as if enrichment in Iran was okay, but in Saudi Arabia, it's not okay. Oh, and by the way, just to make sure that our listeners understand the truth here, the Democrats were wrong. There is nothing in the deal between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia that gives them enrichment technology. The president made that very clear.

He said explicitly: no enrichment. This is a totally civilian nuclear power deal.

So the deal is also contingent on the Saudis joining the Abraham Accords.

Now, talk about. A monumental decision, Rick. I mean, this would change the entire region. It's the Saudis who have been the holdouts for years saying that we won't join the Abraham Accords or make peace with Israel until there's a Palestinian state.

Well, they want nuclear technology very badly, and it may just be that they give up on those demands about a Palestinian state in exchange for having that American nuclear guarantee. Lots going on there and a lot playing into the decisions that are made in the Middle East.

Well, let's move from the Middle East and let's go to Russia. And Ukraine and Russia continue to trade attacks. Can you tell us about the situation there?

Well, it doesn't get any better. Both sides are attacking civilian infrastructure. The Ukrainians have been hitting warehouses of the Russian equivalent. equivalent of Amazon is called wild berries. They've been hitting their warehouses.

So just imagine if your Amazon warehouses are blown up. You've ordered, I don't know, pool lights or maybe a fan belt for your car, and all of a sudden you're not going to get it. And you're not going to get it in two weeks or three weeks. You're not going to get it ever.

So that's what's happening. And the Ukrainians are trying to make the Russian people Understand that Putin is leading them into a disastrous economic situation. Russia, of course, is doing its best to inflict pain on Ukraine and its civilian infrastructure, but the Ukrainians know that they're at war. They're in a war of survival. The Russians don't feel like they're at war.

I listened to a former Russian ambassador to France recently on French TV who said he had just gotten back from Moscow. And he said, oh, yeah, everything's perfectly normal in Moscow. You know, nobody knows there's a war going on. I filled my car up with gas and it cost me only 70 euro cents a liter instead of two euros a liter as it does in France.

So it was basically one-third the cost. And he said, that was just wonderful. Russia was great.

Well, the Ukrainians are trying to break that mentality, to break that distance that the Russian people have been able to put between themselves and this war. They want to make this Putin's war and they want to make the people of Russia understand that it's Putin's war. Hmm. Final question in our conversation today, President Trump said that Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to visit the United States later this year. Can you tell us what to expect out of that meeting?

Well, we know the date now, Rick. It's September 24th, and Xi is coming to the White House. According to the President's announcement, the big subject they will be discussing is artificial intelligence. The Chinese have been making inroads there. They're importing ships so they can advance their own version of artificial intelligence.

We've talked about this in previous weeks. It will be on a Chinese language model, not an English language model, but still, it will be able to do things that our AI is able to do as well. And the President wants to come to some kind of agreement with President Xi to jointly put up guardrails to make sure that AI cannot get out of hand and become actually independent of the humans that run it.

So it is a big, big subject. But I think also on the agenda, they're going to be talking about Iran. The president is going to say, don't you want to be getting Iranian oil regularly and without having to run the embargo and risk getting your ships blocked? Why don't you talk to the Iranians and get them to reopen the straight of hormuzz? I think that's going to be on the agenda.

And I think also on the agenda will be China's resupply of Iran of missile technology, missile rocket fuel, solid rocket fuel and guidance equipment. I think the president is going to come down hard on Xi in private. I don't think he'll say it publicly, in private, and let him know: you've got to choose your friends, you've got to choose your allies. Do you want to be an ally with Iran and not a friend of the United States? Think about it, President Xi.

You're much better off if you're a friend of the United States than if you're a friend of Iran. Ken Timmerman for Prophecy Today. Ken, so interesting to hear how all of these situations taking place around the world are interconnected.

Well, thanks so much for all you do keeping us informed, giving us insight into what is taking place around the world. Thanks so much. Look forward to talking to you again soon. Thanks so much for having me, Rick. God bless.

Great job as always, Ken. And remember, we focus on these current events because these are leading to prophecies yet to be fulfilled in the future. And those prophecies are fulfilled after the rapture of the church. And the rapture of the church looks like it could come even today. We've got to take a break and when we come back.

David Dolan with our Middle East news update right here on Prophecy Today weekend. I'm Ruth Kramer with Mission Network News. Discipling children in Russia has become an even more important mission. That's after Russia's government placed Child Evangelism Fellowship on its list of undesirable organizations this month. Greg Yoder with Keys for Kids Ministries.

This basically means they cannot function in the country. The ministry's removal will leave a gap in children's discipleship at a time when Yoder says kids, teens, and families are searching for spiritual truth. There's lots of fear and anxiety and depression. And again, we get back to that 414 window: that 80% of kids are looking for spiritual truth, and they will find it. And we're hoping and praying that they'll find it through Christ alone.

Pray for partnerships in Russia that'll allow Keys for Kids devotionals to get into the hands of kids looking for God. And despite efforts to keep both parties at the table, the fragile U.S.-Iran ceasefire effectively collapsed earlier this month. David Bogozian of the Alliance for the Unreached says: perceived capitulation from the U.S. only strengthens Iran's extremists, which doesn't bode well for the body of Christ. What we're seeing is that after the Israeli and American strikes, there's an increase of targeting of minorities and Christians.

It's as if the extremist elements are basically saying, look, we were right. And you moderates are wrong. Moderation doesn't help us. We're being attacked anyway. Needs grow exponentially during war.

Pray for supernatural provision for believers as they serve Iran's unreached people groups. Probably the greatest thing that needs to be focused on and prayed for is the development of leaders in Iran.

So many leaders have been targeted and arrested.

So many have had to flee the country. And so there's a constant need to raise up a new generation of leaders. Thanks for listening to Mission Network News, a service of one-way ministries. This month, Keys for Kids is offering free devotionals for kids and teens and a set of Bible highlighters. Each story applies to the truth of God's Word in ways that are understandable for your young person.

Well, this is the portion of our program. We call it our Middle East News Update. We look at news coming out of the Middle East in general, but Israel in particular. To do that, we have with us journalist Dave Dolan. Dave, thanks for being with us today.

I'm glad to be with you, Rick.

Well, Dave, as I said, we focus on the nation of Israel in this Middle East news update.

So can you give us an update what happened this week in Israel?

Well, Rick, as of last evening, Ben-Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv was closed unexpectedly. The authorities said it was for repairs on the runways, but the press there, the media, believe it's for other reasons. That came soon after the U. S. Embassy in Jerusalem issued a warning to any American considering traveling to or from Israel to not do that.

And if you're leaving Israel, to do it right away.

Now that, of course, was a similar thing to what was issued just before the start of the war in February, the last day of February earlier this year. We also had the Israeli government order all bomb shelters open throughout the country, cleaned out and ready for action. There's a question as to whether there'll be school on Sunday if we're still at peace by then. This, of course, comes while We have an announcement that the Prime Minister Netanyahu will be meeting at the White House with President Trump on Tuesday. He's flying there on Monday and will be attending the funeral of Senator Graham, the late Senator Graham.

and then meeting with the President, their first in person meeting since just before the war started.

Meanwhile, we had another night of American strikes, and we had more Iranian regime strikes in return. Jordan on Friday absorbed seven ballistic missiles and six drones coming into its airspace. They were aimed again at the US airbase that was hit last weekend and, of course, sadly, several American soldiers killed. We had other attacks on Kuwait, on Bahrain, on northern Iraq. And then, of course, we had the Houthis down in Yemen join in the war by saying they would blockade all Saudi ships, oil tankers in particular, trying to come pass through it to the Indian Ocean and to the east.

Well, The Saudis sell a good portion of their oil to Asia and those areas.

So now with that closed and two ships were hit, one set on fire on Thursday, and now that that's effectively closed for them, they have to go up through the Suez Canal and then out through the Mediterranean and down around Africa. It's a twice as long journey, of course, and very much more expensive, so the price of oil going up. And then we had reports from Israel that the Iranian regime is continuing to enrich uranium. That they moved quite a few of their centrifuges last fall into the pickaxe mountain. which is a very high mountain in the Tans, and that they are probably there continuing to actually enrich even now.

We don't have confirmation of that. But and of course, the President said that may be a target if the full war that he's saying may be imminent. Does come about. And then we had more action in the Gaza Strip during the week. Rick, we had several Hamas military leaders killed in airstrikes.

We had Israel building new barriers from sand, desert sand, around their positions. And we had the election of the new Hamas leader, Khalil Okaya.

Now, he was very, very close to Yahya Sinwar, the leader that was killed. in the war, I believe it was early last year. And he is considered the most hardline of the various candidates that were running for that leadership position.

So that's not a good sign. And then finally, Rick, we had violence in the Judean Samaria, the West Bank during the week, several incidents, an Israeli was stabbed and some other things. But on Friday, we had a group of young Orthodox hikers, Israeli hikers, come near an Arab village. And twenty, thirty of the residents came out, young men mostly, Shouted at them and screamed and started chasing them away.

Well, it turned into a quite a large confrontation. Four Palestinians were killed, and two Israeli security people were killed. One had his rifle Stolen by one of the Arabs and turned on him. He was shot dead by that. He was a security guard at a nearby Israeli center.

Settlements.

So, more action there, and that came right after a report was issued early in the week. Warning that the PA, the Palestinian Authority, has become a major military force. with over sixty thousand personnel in it now, policemen, quote unquote, et cetera, which is far larger than the eight thousand they were allowed in the original Oslo Accord. And the report was warning that they could try to Crops into Israel and come down into the coastal plain and do a mass slaughter like Hamas did. The Israelis are very concerned about that.

And after Friday's incident, four more battalions were ordered into Judea and Samaria. There's uh well over twenty there, Rick, and uh that's heating up as well.

So it looks in summary like the whole region is Clearly on a very knife edge. And we could be facing much more concentrated action again in the Israeli public. Once again, preparing for a full war.

Well, David, it certainly looks like the region is on a nice edge right now. And you talk about that violence in the West Bank. You talk about Israeli soldiers and security being killed. Israel will probably have to respond to this, which could be something that ignites more chaos in the region. And the whole Middle Eastern region, with Israel at the center of it, is essentially sitting on a powder keg right now, aren't they?

Very much so. Very explosive situation, Rick. And of course, it has exploded many times. I covered the first uprising for CBS and the second. For CBS, and there's been many terror attacks, and you know the history and the story as well, and the airport's been opened and closed, and all of that has happened.

But yes, we see a I believe, Rick, we're seeing a much more concerted effort By Iran and its proxies, the regime and its proxies. To not only restart the war, but to carry out far graver even attacks than we've seen. such as the October 7th mass slaughter that Iran definitely Had a role in, and Hamas and their own sponsored group, Islamic Jihad, was very much involved. And that they have been, we know this, they've been smuggling the regime weapons. Through various methods into Judea and Samaria.

In fact, there was an infiltration attempt just two nights ago, Rick, across the Jordanian border. And the communities in the area were alerted. Everyone was ordered to stay in their homes because there was some penetration. They've been smuggling in arms for years. And again, the Palestinian Authority, supposedly there is a peacekeeping force, supposedly enforcing Arafat's peace accord that he threw out, of course, in the year 2000.

Nevertheless, that they're still there and keeping some security amongst the Arabs of their areas, and the Israelis appreciate that. But again, It's grown from 8,000 to over 60,000. And the arms they have now, they have tanks, they have training way beyond what was expected. In other words, they're not a police force, Rick. They are a military force.

that could be turned at any moment. against Israel as a whole. And I can tell you, I spent a lot of time in those areas. And of course, Winky Madad lives there and others, but It wouldn't take much to get everybody all stirred up. And coming against Israel in this way, even though they have a peace accord, because at their heart, they all support.

The Sunni Muslims as well as the Shiites the idea of jihad and the idea that the Jewish state is illegitimate, that it cannot be, it cannot supplant Islam, which is what they see it as doing. and that it has to be destroyed.

So the jihad will go on to the end. We know that's the case. But it does look to me, Rick, and I hate to say this, but like we're entering a very vicious phase of all of this. And I don't know that the American people are prepared for what may be coming. And again, I don't blame President Trump.

I think he had every good intention to help the Iranian people that were being massly slaughtered. the beginning of this year. and is determined to prevent a nuclear weapon falling into their hands, but I think way underestimated what we're dealing with here. And I cringed, Rick, when he first said this will be a four to six to at the most eight week war, I thought, no, that's impossible. If you're going to start this It's going to be many months and probably beyond that even.

So here we are.

Well, David, even though we pray for peace in the Middle East, we know that what is taking place there right now is preparing this area for what God says is going to happen in the end times.

Well, and we know from the Lord's own words that wars will be with us until the end. And we know, of course, the details of some of those coming wars from Ezekiel and Daniel and other of the ancient prophets, Jeremiah, Isaiah, others.

So it's happening. It's happening as the Bible foretold. It's not at all pleasant to see. And of course, You and I were talking earlier in the week. When you get the details of the people killed in these terror attacks, the man on Friday that was killed, the security guard, two little children.

You know, you really Feel the pain of the whole thing. keeping in mind all the time that, yes, the Lord foretold this He said, don't fear this. This is coming. And I'm coming. I'm coming back to end it all.

And that is my word to you, my promise to you. And that's very much what we have to keep in mind these days as we pray indeed for the peace of Jerusalem. And, of course, for all of our brave security men and women clearly in harm's way. Dave Dolan for Prophecy Today. Dave, as always, we appreciate your insight.

Thanks so much. Look forward to talking to you again soon. You're welcome, Rick. God bless. Great job, as always, David.

We've got to take a break when we come back, a native-born Persian. Sharon Haitian, right here on Prophecy Today, we kid. I'm Ruth Kramer with Mission Network News. Renewed strikes between the United States and Iran this month have increasingly complex domino effects. Lana Silk with Transformer Ran believes it would be bad if the U.S.

backs down right now because it would give the Iranian regime time to regroup, tighten control over its people, and eventually strike at the West. She calls for prayer for wisdom for Western leaders and pray too for the spiritual and physical well-being of the Iranian people in this time of suffering.

Next, Indonesian believers want you to know that their country isn't defined by persecution alone. Faithful churches and vibrant ministries continue sharing the gospel with hope. Patrick Anthony with FMI says believers serve in both hostile and peaceful communities across the country. He says partners use traditional Wayang Kuli shadow puppet shows to share the gospel. When persecution comes, they rely on God's wisdom to respond.

Pray for creative outreach, faithful believers, and resources to equip church leaders. Mission Network News, a service of one-way ministries. I'm Ruth Kramer. Welcome back to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr., and along with Rick, we're examining current events in the light of God's prophetic word.

We started out the program today, and it seems like we're always talking about three different groups of people, really: the Jewish people, the state of Israel. We're talking about the United States, President Donald Trump and what his actions are consequently leading to in the Middle East. And then we're talking about Iran. And Iran does have a role to play in the end times. But there's a little history behind Iran and its neighborhood as it relates to biblical history.

Jeremiah prophesied that Elam, a nation east of Babylon, West of Persia and south of Media, Media would be the Medes and the Persians, and Media today would be the Kurdish people, would be conquered and then rise to power again. That's in Jeremiah chapter forty nine. And true to that prophecy, Babylon conquered Elam in five ninety six. But then Persia under Cyrus the Great took control of that area and the Elamites and the Medes and became part of the Persian Empire. The Medo Persian Empire ascended to power and the And conquered Babylon in 539.

And that's the book of Daniel. Persia is the setting for the book of Esther and the first part of Nehemiah.

Well, we're going to continue our conversation on Iran. With our good friend Sharam Hadian.

Well, that's right, Jimmy. I have Sharam Hadian from Truth in Love Ministries. Sharam is a frequent guest on this program. You can find out more about him by going to his website at tilministry.com. Sharam, thanks for being with us today.

Rick, great to be with you. As always, it's a blessing.

Well, Sharam, let me just tell our listeners a little bit about you. Not only do you have that TIL ministry, you're also a pastor. You've been involved in politics. You understand and teach Bible prophecy. You were born in Iran and moved after this Iranian revolution to basically escape that Islamic persecution.

So you are uniquely positioned to comment on what is going on and taking place in Iran right now, aren't you?

Well, certainly, yeah. I mean, that was my life. That was my childhood. That was, you know, the experience that shapes everything for us leaving Iran, witnessing what happened there. coming to the United States and of course, becoming a Christian and being able to then understand that better, understand what is happening in Iran and really how it affects America because That's unfortunately, I think, a lot of the confusion right now is a lot of people don't understand how everything that's going on over there affects us here at home.

Well, I'd like to talk about that in a second, but let's talk about Iran first. And like I said, you have so many different perspectives. You understand the Iranian people. You understand this Islamic regime. How would you describe the mood inside Iran right now after the resumption of bombing in Iran?

Can you tell us what the mood is like there?

Well, I think that generally the mood is right now still cautious from those that we've been able to get some information out of. Number one, they're still resilient In that they will oppose this regime no matter what the cost is. And of course, it's been a heavy cost. Even the president upped the numbers. Of those that were massacred back in January to 52,000 wrecks.

So that number went up from even what the White House was reporting. And we know that number is probably even higher because the regime continues to daily Kill its own citizens, hang its own citizens.

So there's resilience there because they're not going to quit. They're not going to give up. No negotiation is going to stop the Iranian people. But I think they're hesitant. because they've seen sort of a yo yo back and forth From the United States, from the administration, you know, make a deal, break a deal, no deal.

So there's probably optimism. That maybe this time this will lead to the finishing of this job.

So we're certainly praying for that. But I think until there is a clear objective and by the way, we just heard this week again that from those inside the administration, the US administration, that Potentially, regime changes back on the table. And that's ultimately what has to happen: that the Iranian people. Are done with this regime. There is no scenario where this regime can stay in power, period.

I have had conversations with different missionaries, some of them that work with, I guess you would call it underground missionaries there in Iran, and they were telling us that these underground missionaries were urging them to try to influence President Trump before this bombing restarted to try to influence President Trump to restart the bombing. The regime needs to be defeated. This basically echoes what you're saying.

So that is essentially how you feel. We are. At least at this present moment, on the right track as we continue to look to minimize this and essentially defeat this regime. Absolutely. And it's not just through the bombing.

The other part of it is that they wanted the blockades. They want the choke off of the financial and I've said this from the very beginning. The military operation is important. Obviously, hitting the instruments that the regime uses to kill people, you got to destroy those instruments. You got to go after those.

That can be very strategic. That's what, by the way, Israel does very well, and we ought to be as a country letting Israel do, I think, more of the tactical decisions because they have better assets inside the country than the United States. But absolutely, can you imagine, Rick, a scenario where people inside a country, in this case believers, Christians, because it is Iran is You know, if not the fastest, one of the fastest-growing underground church movements on the planet. Can you imagine people in that situation saying, please bomb us? Like you have to get to a point where you know there's no other option.

Without outside intervention, for people to say, please continue hitting us, even though they know. that it's going to mean Destruction of infrastructure. It could mean harder life daily for food, for rationing. But the Iranian people are already suffering.

So they're like, listen, if we're going to suffer, let's suffer to the end of this. Let's suffer till this regime collapses and we can come out of this, be liberated from this. There were so many levels of leadership in the Islamic regime there, the IRGC, that were decimated by attacks, targeted attacks by both Israel and the United States. And I'm wondering, what have you heard about what it is like there right now? Because when you lose so much leadership, I'm sure there are factions that are vying for power.

They are having money issues because they can't sell the oil and the sanctions and these bombings are having an effect. What is that leadership like? I hope I believe you hope too that it's ripe for a downfall. But what are your thoughts? What do you know about how that leadership is functioning right now?

Well, there is so inside Iran, there's a couple of misconceptions. Number one misconception is that there's some sort of a moderate element within the current leadership.

So yes, the United States and Israel have taken out sort of the first Sort of tiers of the leadership, of course, including Khomeini, who they took out early on, back in February of this year. But the misconception is, look, there's elements within the regime that who are negotiating, who are moderate, who can you know, and of course, the President had used that line as well. And then What we warned about was no, there is no moderacy within anybody within the regime. And therefore, no negotiations will work. And he came to find that out when he just said a couple of weeks ago, these people are lunatics.

They're cuckoo, I think was the word he used.

So they're liars.

Okay, so that's number one.

Now, there are elements within this who are left in power, and it is fractured right now. It's exactly right, what you said. Because of the Impact Of both the military and the financial choking point. There is a fracturing going on. The fracturing is between those who want to stay in power and survive and think that they can negotiate their way to that.

versus those who are hardliners, those who are so ideologically driven by their eschatology that they will never surrender, they will never make a deal. That's what's going on internally. Both are bad. Both will never be accepted by the majority of the ninety three million Iranian people. But and both are still a threat to the United States of America, Rick.

Both Elements. One is just trying to save their, I don't know what the word is, save their bacon. What's the proper expression? They're just trying to survive because they need the money. And that's why I keep telling people: the money aspect, the worst thing was when they did this MOU.

This memorandum of understanding, and all of a sudden Iran saw oil revenue again, whereas with the choking of the straight in the sense of the blockade. Uh they're losing upwards of $500 million a day in oil revenue.

So that's catastrophic, and that's exactly what you need to collapse to IRGC. And then, one other thing. what we have always hoped for from the very beginning. And the crown prince of Iran, Reza Palavi, the son of the Shah, who my dad served under. has said is that you are praying for a small faction to the fact.

The defections are going to be critical to arm the Iranian people, to support the Iranian people. That's your boots on the ground, not necessarily US troops. Although now there's some talk about 2,000 Marines potentially. But that's what we got to hope for. And that will come as the choking off continues Uh where when you can't pay people Now they're gonna start leaving very quickly and it'll start turning to the other side.

And that's what we're kind of praying for. You have an online program called The Truth Today Show, and I recommend our listeners go there. I was looking through some of the content that you have, and we look at this situation. President Trump sees a threat, the nuclear threat, from Iran. But some people say, well, we're fighting Israel's war.

This is Israel. This is Islam coming after Israel. The United States needs to stay out of it. But one of the things I recognized in your content there is that Islam, especially Iran, has the United States squarely in their sights, don't they? 100%.

And Rick, they've had it in their site since day one in nineteen seventy nine.

So those who will say that we don't understand why are we going after Iran, what have they done to us? They're either young and have no idea, or they've, I don't know, been in a hole, I don't know where they've been, or they're in denial since day one. When Khomeini took over in 1979, They declared death to America. They declared an enemy of war. We have this regime.

That is now activated their coulds force. Their coulds force is a term they use for. Jerusalem, but they're not just after Jerusalem. That Kutz force is an assassination force. They've activated their assassination force.

And President Donald J. Trump is number two on that list. Bibi Netanyahu is number one.

So they are actively saying we're going to kill your leader to us. Then also We have to understand inside the United States. there are very influential Shiite mosques. In places like Houston, Texas, in Dearborn, Michigan, Dearborn Heights, Michigan. That are absolutely connected to the Islamic Republic.

In fact, just this past weekend, you had clerics coming out of these mosques inside America. Further saying, Death to America, death to the Zionists, those who support Israel, and death to Israel. This is these are clerics inside America. who are loyal to the Islamic Republic. And then one final piece.

You have Zoron Mamdani. Let's not forget that Zoran Mamdani has the same ideological viewpoint as Ayatollah Khomeini did. He is a Shiite Muslim. He believes in the twelfth Imam. He believes that they are going to do whatever necessary to cause their Messiah to come, their Islamic Messiah.

This is who's running New York City. This is who just called for the arrest of Bibi Netanyahu.

So those who say this doesn't affect us in America. They have no clue what they're talking about because they're not paying attention to all the puzzle pieces and all the influence operation. that this Islamic regime has had inside the United States for forty seven years.

So this is an existential threat And the best thing that could happen for the world Is For this regime. To be dismantled or toppled, and then allow the Iranian people to choose their next leader, who they've already done, the majority of them, and that's the crown prince, the son of the Shah Rezapaladi. Sharam, as we look at this situation, there is some in the United States that want to try to figure out a way to negotiate. But I wanted, if you could, to talk a little bit about The Islamic idea of how to negotiate, and it seems like the IRG is just negotiating for survival, but deceptiveness is allowed under their theology. Is that the way you look at it?

Is that what you see? 100%. You're 100% correct in that within their Islamic theology and doctrine, Uh there's a concept of uh hudna. The word hudna is a reference to basically a treaty going back to their prophet. that he had signed with the people of Mecca.

Um it was called the Treaty of Al-Huribiyah. And when he was in the minority, he signed this treaty as sort of a retreat. Like, hey, let's have peace. It was a 10-year treaty. But once he moves up north to another community, which was a Jewish community, by the way, and he he either routs the Jews or kills the Jews, then he amasses an army.

When he gets stronger, he comes back and guess what? He breaks the treaty. And then he routes the people of Mecca.

So, hudna is the idea that now there's also the concept of tikiyah, which maybe some of your listeners are aware of: that Muslims can lie by their tongue, by their words. But in this case, when they make these deals, before the ink is even dry, They know they're going to break it. Because the whole point of the deal is regroup. is rearm is reorganized Restructure, you know, lull your enemy into a false sense of peace. and then reattack.

And what have we seen since j even this year with these ceasefires, Every single one is broken, not within months, within hours, or within maybe a day or two, because they can lie. They can lie, they can make treaties. That's why any agreement with an Islamic country should be taken at its faith value that it's not trustworthy. Because within Islam, this is their behavior for 1,400 years, Rick. By the way, they did this to us in our founding.

If you remember that when we had an agreement with the pirates of Barbary, and they were taking tribute from us, and then they kept breaking it. They kept breaking the agreement, and that's why Thomas Jefferson called up the Marines to deal with the Barbary pirates.

So we've actually had it in our history as a nation before dealing with Islamic countries.

Well that's something that's certainly important for our listeners to understand, and that's why we have you on the program. Earlier in the interview you mentioned that you It felt to me like you were expressing optimism, optimism that the people of Iran are going to eventually overthrow the IRGC, that they are not going back to the way it was before this war started. And I guess my question to you, and I feel like that's optimism, and that's what we are praying for. But, you know, with all the price, I mean, the pressure that President Trump is under to midterm elections coming up, he's got people on the left, people on the right attacking this war. You've got gas prices, the economic situation around the world.

Do you truly believe that this IRGC is going to be defeated here, or is that just wishful thinking? That's what I wanted to get your thoughts on there. I think that's a great question. I think it's a fair question. And like you said, there are an enormous amount of obstacles and challenges, including the the geopolitical situation here in the United States.

It's very difficult. I think part of the US strategy they is they they underestimated they shouldn't have underestimated the tactics of the Iranian regime, like choking off the Strait of Hormuz. because they've done it before. And they should have understood that that should have been the first area. By the way, strategically, When Israel hit Iran last year in June of twenty twenty five, Where did they attack?

They attacked in the south. They went right after the port of Benda Abbas, which is right down in the south there near the strait. Um that's where they strategically hit. They know, they knew, and the US should have known. They should have taken that straight immediately, control of it immediately.

We wouldn't maybe be in this position. But here we are.

So, to answer your question, do I believe that it will collapse? Yes. Do I believe that they will unshackle? Yes. Because again, when you're at this point after forty seven years, there's no going back.

So whether it happens this year Whether it happens a few years down the road, more suffering, it will happen. I have no doubt it will happen. Um I I I believe that As far as Bible prophecy, there is an element there of connection that I think there has to be an element, in my opinion, where the Iranian people. at least temporarily. have to make peace with Israel.

And as long as this regime is breathing, There will never be peace with Israel. Iran will n the country of Iran will never be at peace with the country of Israel as long as any element of this Islamic fundamentalist Shiite regime is standing.

So I have optimism in the sense of the will of the Iranian people, whether it is God's will in this moment or not, we'll see. As you said, the midterms are going to be very difficult with what we see happening. And because this anti one other element, this anti-Israel sentiment, This anti-Israel sentiment isn't just on the left. It's on the right. Politically, it's happening in the church.

And that's what is really concerning is because when you hear the type of l rhetoric that you brought up earlier, not not your rhetoric, but I'm saying the one you you brought up that, oh, there's those people that are saying that we're fighting Netanyahu's war, we're being roped in, we're being controlled by Israel. That's so damaging because Nothing could be further from the truth that there's no way I believe President Trump would be in this. unless he believed. That it was necessary, not because it's quote Israel's war, it's America's. Ultimate war.

Um, so let's pray. that I guess that will prevail. Let's pray that They will you know it's one of those things where You know, you got your enemy down. And then you let him off the hook. You you know you you give him a hand, get up, get back up again.

Sometimes you got to finish it. You got to finish it. And let's pray they can finish the job. You brought up anti Semitism. The roots of that anti Semitism when especially when you talk about the Islamic mindset, can you just explain w where that comes from?

Well, it comes from again, I mentioned the founding of Islam because according to the Quran itself, particularly in the verses that were changed later or abrogated, the latter verses, Muslims are commanded to fight the people of the book, which includes the Jews. Muslims see Jews as thieves because they believe that the Jews stole the covenant. from Ishmael. Um and therefore um Islam teaches in their eschatology That Jerusalem, which by the way, I think we've covered this before, is never mentioned in the Quran one time, the name Jerusalem. But they have other kind of references, like the concept of coulds, as I mentioned, QUDS.

that Jerusalem is going to belong to them. that Jerusalem ultimately belongs to them.

So they have a problem. It's a Jewish problem. Because ever since the rebirth of the Nation of Israel in 1948, And ever since 1967, when when Israel took over Jerusalem, This goes against Islamic eschatology.

So as long as the Jews are breathing and living and controlling Jerusalem, Islam is proven to be false. And so that's why they must eradicate the Jews. That's why from mosques outside of America and inside America. you hear imams and preachers calling for the killing of the Jews. They pray every Friday during their sermons that Allah would help them kill the Jews, kill the Zionists, those who obviously support the right of the Jews to their existence in the nation of Israel.

So it is not a radical interpretation, Rick. It is a fundamental interpretation of Islam that every Muslim is supposed to carry out, whether they believe it or not. Because by the way, Muhammad carried it out in the fact that, as I mentioned earlier, when he migrated to the north in a city called Yathrib, which was Jewish, he ended up routing or killing Jews himself.

So his he's got Jewish blood on his own, his own hands, from the very outset of Islam and their Islamic calendar.

So unfortunately, anti-Semitism and Jew hatred will be there as long as Islam is around. And as long as those who Attack Israel and are hating the Jews like we see now are also given voice. uh to this t you know, and it's shocking, honestly, it's shocking uh h how how prevalent it's become this sort of anti Semit Semitic easy it's become easy, it's become sad to be a Jew hater nowadays, and it's and it's shocking to see. Sharam Hayden explaining the situation in the Middle East and what's going on in Iran. For our listeners, one final question as I wrap this up.

You're an Iranian-born believer. We've talked about your testimony, what you've done. I know you have a heart for the Iranian people. And we look at the geopolitical aspects, the prophetic, the political aspects. Those are all important, but we also want to remember.

Be reminded and pray for those in Iran right now, that fast-growing church that you said. Can you tell us how we should as Christians be praying for the Iranian people during this difficult time? That is such a great question. And ultimately, I'd say we pray for their strength, we pray for their courage, we pray for their conviction. Because for them To be bold.

That's why I believe that the Spirit of God is working so incredibly inside that underground church movement. because they're under tremendous persecution. And now they're under tremendous Um Suffering, just daily life. you know food Having electricity, having water. being able to just feed your family.

So it's an incredibly difficult situation inside Iran. But what we have talked to from underground believers is they are More resolute than ever. They are more committed to ever because they want to see. Not just to fall of this regime, Rick. but they believe that Iran has the potential to become a Christian nation.

has a and I mean majority. They believe Iran has the potential to see the greatest revival that is potentially on the planet in these last days.

So we let's pray. for their continued boldness, their strength, their conviction. counting the cost of following Christ. But let's also pray that the American church will rise up. And look at these underground churches and say, you know what, we aren't facing that kind of persecution.

What's our excuse? for not being bold? What's our excuse for not being sold out to the Lord? And let's pray that the American church will rise up. And because we have an Islamic problem here in America, a massive Islamic problem here in America, and the only solution is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It will not be a geopolitical solution. It will not be some legislator or some governor changing the laws. It will be the Church of Jesus Christ rising up and saying, we need to be bold with the gospel, preach it, stand for it, don't compromise it, don't get involved in ecumenicalism and interfaithism and all this stuff with Muslims. Preach the gospel to them and see them come to Christ.

So that's what I'm praying for. And thank you for the platform to allow me to share that so your listeners can know hopefully how to pray for the Iranian people, but also for the American believers who need that encouragement as well. Sharam Haydian from Truth in Love Ministry. Real quick, Sharam, how could our listeners get involved with your ministry, maybe even see you at a conference? What the Iranian people are actually feeling, and why it is so very important that we, as America, continue to support what's going on over there in the Middle East. And it does seem like we're getting closer and closer to the Final event. before the tribulation period. Kind of take a break, and when we come back, Dr. Jimmy DeYoung in the Legacy Series, right here on Prophecy Today, weekend.

Welcome back to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr. Along with my brother Rick, we examine current events in the light of God's prophetic word. Rick, what exciting times that we're living in right now. And as I said at the outset of the program, it looks like.

All-out war could Breakout in the Middle East. And with listening to our partners today, It does seem that way. But if people wanted to be kept up to date besides our website and the radio program, what are the ways could people be caught up to date? Jimmy, they can go to our website, prophecytoday.com. We would love for you to get engaged in the ministry as we look at the things that are taking place around the world.

You can sign up. For our newsletter, you can go and visit our devotions, you can see what. Other opportunities we have for you to learn about Bible prophecy, to understand what is going on in the world, so you can apply it to your life. Yes, prophecy to day. Yeah, yeah.

Well, today we're going to study about Messiah's Temple with complete details of that temple that Jesus Christ will build and rule and reign from. in the one thousand year kingdom to come This detailed information is found in two hundred and two verses in Ezekiel forty to forty six. Ezekiel, a priest, as well as a prophet, was a man familiar with the temple. I'm sure this is one of the reasons that the Lord gave him this message, the message of a temple for the Messiah.

However, before we look at Messiah's Temple today, Dr. Jimmy D. Young. We'll take a moment to rehearse for you the way that Ezekiel the prophet wrote the message for us today. Dr.

Jimmy DeYoung and the Legacy Series. Ezekiel is divided into two parts. The first part is the first 32 chapters, it's a message of retribution. Ezekiel lays out for us the message that God gave to him to give to his people and the neighbors, the enemies of the Jewish people. Chapters 1 to 24 is a message of retribution to the Jews, and then chapters 25 to 32 is a message of retribution to the neighbors of the Jewish people.

Chapter 33 then begins another series of messages. This would be the messages of restoration. He's going to restore the kingdom people, the Jewish people, and he's going to restore their practices, the kingdom practices. Chapter 37 is the deal that helps us to get underway. It's the first prophecy that is of major importance.

By the way, look back at chapter 33 just a second. Chapter 33, I want to show you what happened, verse 22.

Now, when the hand of the Lord was upon me in the evening, before he that was escaped from Jerusalem, it's talking about, had opened my mouth until he in the morning, and my mouth Was open, and I was no more dumb. God loosens his tongue and gives him a message of restoration. Chapter 37, it's the valley of dry bones. Look at verse 7.

So I prophesied as he commanded, and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a shaking, and his bones came together, bone to bone. Verse 8, and when I had beholded, lo, sinew and flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them from above, but there was no breath in them. Verse 9. Then he said, Preach unto the wind. Verse 10, so I prophesied at the commandment, and brought breath came in unto them, and they lived, and they stood upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Now that's apocalyptic literature. What in the world is it talking about? Bones coming together, flesh coming on the bones, breath of life being breathed into them. It's a three-part prophecy. The bones coming together are the regathering.

The flesh coming on the bones are the restoration, and the breath being breathed into them is regeneration. Regeneration, regathering, restoration of whom?

Well, how did I tell you to interpret apocalyptic literature? Keep reading. Look at verse 11. I went to verse 10. Look at verse 11.

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. He's talking about the Jews who had been scattered to the four corners of the earth. I'm going to find them and bring them into the land. Go back to chapter 34. Verse 11, chapter 34.

For thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I, even I will search out my sheep and seek them out. Middle part of verse 12.

So I seek out my sheep and will deliver them from all the places where they have been scattered. Verse 13, I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from their countries. Verse 14, I will feed them in a good pasture. Verse 15, I will feed my flock and I will cause them to lie down. Verse 16, I will seek that which was lost.

Do you hear me repeating a phrase? I will. The Lord is telling the Jewish people. I will. By the way, you know, if God says something to me one time, I believe it, and that settles it.

If you read from verse 11 all the way to verse 31, you'll see that God says it 18 times: I will find my people where they have been scattered. I will gather them in. I will bring them into their land. I will feed them like a good shepherd feeds his flock. Go to chapter 36.

He talks about the land in chapter 36. Notice what he says in verse 8. Verse 6: Prophesy, therefore, concerning the land. Verse 8. But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches.

Verse 11: I will multiply upon you man and beast, and they shall increase and bring fruit. And I will settle you after your old estates, how it was with your forefathers. And I will do better unto you than at your beginnings, and you shall know that I am the Lord. He's going to bring him into the land. Why is he going to bring him into the land?

Chapter 36, verse 22. Therefore, say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God: I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, for but my holy name's sake. When God could swear by nothing greater, He swore, I will bring the people back. And I do it. For my holy name's sake.

Let me just give you something. Chapter 35. Notice what chapter 35 says. Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Mount Seir. And prophesy against it, and say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I am, O Mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.

Who is Mount Cyr? Chapter 36 of the book of Genesis. God tells Esau. No longer can you live here, chapter 37, verse 1. Jacob and his family is going to live here.

Chapter 36, verse 7. The riches of both of you boys is too much for this land. You're going to Mount Seir. Where's Mount Cedar? Lower third of modern day Jordan.

Who went there? Esau and the Edomites changed his name to Edom.

Now that piece of real estate in biblical times is called Edom. It's called modern-day Jordan. They went to a place called Petra. And there they headquartered.

Now he says, I'm going to destroy you, Mount Seir. Remember what God told Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau? Two nations. Are in thy womb. Jacob is Israel, Esau, the Palestinian people.

of today. He said, I'm going to wipe you out. Why is he going to wipe him out? Look here in verse 5. Because thou hast a perpetual hatred, Esau said in chapter 27 of Genesis, when my father dies, I will kill Jacob.

perpetual hatred and has shed the blood of the children of Israel. Verse 10, Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will so possess it. This is so up to date, it's like reading the front page of the newspaper. Chapter 38, it talks about the alignment of the nations coming together. And these nations will come to destroy the nation of Israel.

When will they come? Look at verse 8. After many days, thou shalt be visited. In the latter years, thou shalt come up to the land that brought back out of the sword. Look at the last part of it.

Where they are dwelling safely, all of them. Verse 11. And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages, and I will go up to them that are at risk, that dwell safely. When are the Jewish people going to ever dwell safely in the land? After the rapture of the church, the Antichrist appears.

What does he do? Chapter 9, verse 27 of Daniel confirms a peace treaty. They think he's the Messiah.

So they lay down their weapons. That's what verse 11 says.

So he says they'll be living in unwalled villages. And they will come under attack by a coalition of nations. Look at chapters 40 to 46. It is the most detailed description of the Messiah's temple that has ever been written. Ezekiel the prophet, who is also the priest, is going to put a temple up.

There's several things in this temple, and it's different from every tabernacle or every temple in the past. There's been two temples. One tabernacle. This passage describes something completely different than all of those temples in the tabernacle. because this temple has no wall of petition.

Well, you know what the wall of petition was? Keep the Gentiles from coming into the temple area. No wall of petition. Why? Ephesians chapter 2 verse 12 and following.

Two people at enmity with each other, Jew and Gentile.

Well, the petition between them, I took it out with my death, burial, and resurrection made two people one. No wall of petition. Look here, we're we're in the holy place. There's no table to showbread. The twelve loaves of bread.

It's not there. Why? John 6, Jesus said, I'm the bread of life. Oh, look, there's no manor, the seven-branch candelopper, it's not there. Why?

He said in John 8, 9, and 11, I am the light of the world. You see, every implement in the temple represents Jesus Christ. Our focus is a prophecy on him. There's no veil in the temple. Why?

When he was crucified, it was ripped from top to bottom, giving us access. Look here in the Holy of Holies. There's no Ark of the Covenant. Why? The Ark of the Covenant was the model of him to come.

And when you have the real thing, you no longer need to model. When he comes back, he walks into the Holy of Holies. He sits down as our mercy seat right there. That's the Messiah's Temple. It's going to be built.

Zechariah 6:12 says Jesus builds it. 6:13 says he rules and reigns from it. But wait a minute. Do you remember Daniel 9:27? Here's what it says.

And he, the Antichrist, shall confirm a covenant, that's the treaty, with many, the Jewish people and their neighbors, for one week, that's the seven-year period of time. And in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice to cease. You don't have sacrifice in Jerusalem without a temple. But, Jimmy, there is no temple.

Well let me give you another passage. Matthew 24, 15, Jesus said, when you see the abomination of desolation, flee. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 says, The Antichrist walks into the temple at the midway point of the tribulation, and he desecrates the abomination of desolation. Revelation chapter 11, verse 1: Hey, John measured the place for the temple. But there is no temple.

Hey, you don't know what's going on. The other day I walked into yeshiva, a place of learning for Jewish young men. In that yeshiva, the rabbi was on his computer. You know what he told me about that computer? It was a database for every male Jew qualified to be a priest.

You need 28,000 priests. He has all their names on there. I said, why? He said, we've called him to Jerusalem to study the priestly duties. I said, to do what he said, to build a temple.

Man, he had my attention. I said, well, what about the implements, like the Miz Rock, that picture-shaped item made out of pure gold or pure silver? They need 4,000 of them to do the sacrifices. They're all made in storage. What about their garments?

They're already made. They're in a box. There's a piece of paper on the front with a note. When the dome of the rock comes down, put on this priestly garment and report immediately to the Temple Mount. Wow.

I said, what about the harps, man? King David wanted 4,000 harps. He'd go over to number 10, King David Street. That's a wonderful name for a street. Got over there.

Shoshana Nikahari used to live over here in Vermont. He went to Israel, he made the first harp in 2,000 years. Rabbi showed up, looked at the harp, and he started crying. Jesus, why are you crying, Shoshana? Said to the rabbi.

He said, Because the Talmud, extra-biblical Jewish writing, says when the 10-string harp shows up, it's the time for the coming of the Messiah. They have the Sanhedrin, the 70-wise Jewish scholars. They have elected the high priest. I show on my website him being fitted for his priestly garment. Everything is set.

Everything is set for that temple. Not Messiah's temple, that's after he returns. The tribulation temple. That'll come into place. You see it?

Jews returning to the land. Palestinians trying to kill Jews. Alignment of nations trying to wipe them out. A peace process, so that'll take place. And arrangements for a temple.

All set. Every actor in place. Curtain about to go up. On the second coming, this all happens after the rapture. How close could that be?

Father, thank you for this awesome time. you've given us to study. The information is amazing. articulate, it's accurate, it's authoritative. And it helps us to understand the times in which we're living.

This is a key to unlocking God's plan for the future. These events Will all play out in God's time. And as we look and see, we can recognize where we are. in that time. Help us then to live in light of that knowledge in thy precious name.

Amen. One of the purposes for a study of Bible prophecy. is so that we might understand the times in which we're living, and and live with the anticipation that Jesus Christ could shout, the archangel could shout, and the trumpet of God could sound, to call us up to heaven at the rapture. Our focus on the next temple to be built in Jerusalem, not the Messiah's Temple of Ezekiel 40-46. But the next temple in Jerusalem, which will be the tribulation temple, is It's ready to be built right now.

The only thing that must happen before that temple is built in Jerusalem is Is the rapture of the church. which could actually happen to day. Even so come, Lord Jesus.

Next week on the broadcast we'll begin our study of the book of Revelation. this to me will be a very special study. I will help you to study Revelation chronologically so that you can understand this great prophetic book. I hope you'll be able to join us there. Dr.

Jimmy DeYoung in the Legacy Series. I hope that you enjoy the series that we replay for you as much as we do. We got to take a break, and when we come back, Rick, and I will take a look at the book right here on Prophecy Today weekend. Mm-hmm. I'm Ruth Kramer with Mission Network News.

Renewed strikes between the United States and Iran this month have increasingly complex domino effects. For one, the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen now threaten to blockade Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea shipping route. Lana Silk with Transformer Ran says: We need to take time to understand the subtleties of the conflict. Although the war is unpopular with some in the U.S., she believes it would be bad if the U.S. backs down now against the Iranian regime.

All we would be doing would be giving them the opportunity to strengthen themselves, lash out at their own people, and then later on lash out at the West.

So we do welcome intervention, but God give them wisdom in how they do it. This is not an easy path for anyone. Pray for wisdom for Western leaders. Pray too for the spiritual and physical well-being of the Iranian people in this time of suffering. And finally, Indonesia is not defined only by persecution.

This is the message one of FMI's partners in the region wants people to hear, says Patrick Anthony. There are many faithful churches, vibrant ministries, and believers who continue to proclaim the gospel with hope. Believers serve in both hostile and peaceful communities across the country. Anthony says FMI partners look for creative ways to share the gospel. One of those is Wayang Kulit.

There's a history of using puppet shows to tell long-standing cultural stories that many Indonesians are familiar with. The Shadow Puppet Show helps people grasp the gospel in their own language. Bold witness sometimes brings persecution. And when it does, Indonesian believers rely on God's wisdom, pray for creative outreach, faithful believers, and resources to equip church leaders. Thanks for listening to Mission Network News, a service of one-way ministries.

Welcome back to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr. Along with my brother Rick, we've been examining current events in the light of God's prophetic word. Rick, I started off the program today talking about Tishba'Av, the ninth day of Av. Where the Jewish people around the world this last week remembered the destruction of two temples: Solomon's temple.

And Herod's temple on the same day, obviously years apart. And after Solomon's temple was destroyed and the Jews were carried away to Babylon, they came back, Zerubbabel. Built a temple, and then Herod added to it in 70 AD. Temple was destroyed again on the same day. There seems to be a lot of things.

I think even the the Barcopa uh revolt was uh which what happened later in on On in the first century or second century, happened on the same date. There are other items through Jewish history. But it's just interesting to see all the Jewish people at the Western Wall. Singing, remembering the temple, looking forward to the building of the next temple. And Dad today on the legacy series talked about Ezekiel's temple.

So just to keep in mind with everyone, There's still one more there one more temple. to come before Ezekiel's temple is built. And that temple will be allowed by the Antichrist. For the Jews to rebuild that temple on the most holy. Holiest spot on the earth for the Jewish people.

But the third most holiest site in Islam, which could be the reason that the Islamic world. Comes against the Jewish people.

Well, that is certainly the case, Jimmy, as we look at this. what is taking place in the Middle East. We put it in the prophetic Scenario that God has laid down, but we know, and you have talked about it before, and both of us have talked about it, the fact that. Israel. Jerusalem, and then, of course, the Temple Mount that narrows it down to God's prophetic timeline.

What is going to go on? If we focus on that, we understand where we are and the end time scenario that God has laid forth. And everything that we are seeing in the world today, whether it be in Jerusalem or the alignment of the nations and what is going on around the world, it is all progressing towards a future that the Bible predicted or prophesied going forward, isn't it?

Well, you know, every week, and you and I talk about this, every week it seems like we're focused on Iran, and we are now. What Israel is doing, what Iran is doing, what the President of the United States is doing, Donald Trump, because it it all Is pushing us that much faster towards God's timeline. Of the battle of Gog and Magog. Ezekiel 38. Sharam talked about it.

And there are several biblical prophecies of the end times that mention Iran called Persia or Elam in the Bible. Given the fact that Iran is often in the news as a nation and really looking to set up a a nuclear weapon, Of mass destruction, which Israel certainly doesn't want, Donald Trump certainly doesn't want. We're seeing Bible prophecy beginning to play out, but yet I believe it doesn't happen until after the rapture of the church takes place. Really, I would say within the first three months of the tribulation period, Rick, when the battle of Ezekiel 38 and 39, the battle of Gag and Magog, the battle of the alignment of nations that come against Israel.

So, but if we're so close to it now. I remember what our good friend Andy Woods said, you know, that analogy he gave us about Christmas. And. Thanksgiving comes before Christmas.

Well, we're seeing certainly the birth pains of what. is going to unfold for the future. Jimmy, that was the gift of Bible prophecy. We've talked about that before. God told us what is going to happen in the future.

And, you know, it's certainly easy to draw the parallels to what Scripture says is going to happen and what we see in the headlines of the news today.

Now, we are not necessarily saying it's one-for-one. This is what's happening, and this is going to be the fulfillment of Bible prophecy because we don't actually know that, but we do know that all of these things that are taking place are. Setting the stage, and this is it's unavoidable as we look at these things taking place. It can't be long before God's prophetic word will come into fruition and we see all of these things put into place God's plan for the end times. Yes, as I said at the beginning of the program, trust.

Trust is very important. It's a very fact, Rick. We've mentioned this before. There are a thousand prophecies in the Bible pertaining to the first and second coming of Jesus Christ, the confidence that we have. To be able to trust the Father.

Now, faith. Is is a is as a result. Trust comes out of faith. Faith, we're given that. That's something that we do.

And then we trust the Lord. And as we Our thinking about reading God's Word helps us to understand and gives us confidence, the security that we need. as this world is acting as it is. And how should we then live? Jimmy, how should we then live is the most important question that we need to ask, and that's why we do this program every week, and we are so grateful that there are those that listen to it.

But we Want to impress on that fact, how should we then live based on the information that we now know? Let me end with this today, Rick. Trusting God is a feature of many of the Psalms of David. There are 39 references to trust in the Psalms alone, whether referring to trusting in God and His Word or Or to not trusting in riches or the things of this world. It is on the basis of this trust that David finds deliverance from all the evil encounters.

Many of David's Psalms describe situations when he was. Pursued by Saul and his army, as well as his other enemies, and always did the Lord come to his aid. One thing that can be noted about biblical trust is that it always engenders further trust in our God. The man of God never stops trusting in God completely. His faith.

May be knocked, he may stumble, or he may fall into the fallacy of sins, but though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him. With his hand, that's Psalm 37:24. The man of God knows that though trials will beset in his life, his trust will not waver because that trust is based on the faith. And the promises of God, the promise of eternal joy. With the Lord in the promise of an inheritance that can never perish.

Spoil or fade, and That's 1 Peter 1, verse 4. Rick, awesome job on the program today. Oh, by the way, Rick, happy birthday. It's your birthday today, and we wish you a happy birthday. And everyone along with me, I'm sure, does the same.

Folks, with all that we've seen today, we know that we can't be very far from the rapture of the church. Let's keep looking up until. Thank you so much for joining us today. This is Jay Johnson, inviting you to join us again next week for more of Prophecy Today.
