It's an exciting thing to me to be in the land where Jesus lived and moved and where the Bible comes to life, but seeing people whose lives are impacted rings me so much joy that I don't think I'll ever get tired of going yeah it him five trips last year.

That's been expected for some time Santa Cruz expected to do better in states following that, and as best as we can see neither one will have the majority needed to 1237 delegates that it is this an arbitrary number that's half +1 and neither was expected to get there, which is why you do your best to recruit delegates that will be friendlier because this is just what the the campaigns do so, the first vote all the delegates have to vote as required.

So what are okay. We well we went to the place where Jesus walked in I can sound sentimental, emotional histology, but there's something that actually happens. And in the Bible comes alive in different ways. I mean you've been with so many people, pastors, leaders, others, what happens to people. The common theme that I hear that the Bible comes to life. Someone once described it as going from a old big black-and-white TV to a flatscreen HDTV it's like they never appreciated television now going to Israel and seeing the sights as they are in reading opening up your Bible and and and even reading unit which is celebrated Passover Jesus leaving the upper room crossing the Kidron Valley to the Garden of Gethsemane and you actually can be in Israel across that very same valley be in the garden of Gethsemane were were sitting in you realize this is the place where Jesus himself was I think was Neil Armstrong.

He was the first guy that walked on the moon wasn't yet. I believe when he stepped on the southern steps of the temple where the 1967 when Israel recaptured Jerusalem, they they unearth the southern steps of the temple that was destroyed in 70 A.D., I think it was Neil Armstrong who said I walked on the moon, but it does not compare to standing in this very place where God himself stood so all all that one can do is wonder I see people's mouths open their eyes wide open. Every place that we go has not only a significance in the natural but also in the spirit there. There, standing in places that the Bible talks about you and it just something about it that makes it more real. You know it's what when I was in Holland some years ago and had had a free afternoon in one of my grads took me over to the city of Harlem where Corrie 10 boom's family was where they had their watch shop downstairs and the house upstairs in the hiding place were were were Jews were hindering the Holocaust, which ultimately cost them their lives. The family and and Corrie 10 boom would cost her life is not for God's miraculous intervention and as the tour went on and were walking around this. I was just convulsing and sobbing because of the reality of this actually happen. You can feel just something different. So the same way when you're in this place. We know that because more real and what's going to happen in the future. Yes this really can happen yet. It's an amazing amazing experience, and all I can say is that there has been nothing that has given me more gratification in my walk with the Lord than the continual going assemblies been over there. 21 times. I pretty much know every site that were going to, but I'm telling you, bro. It never gets old and something has impacted me. Each trip and in a different place even while you and I are talking on getting Facebook private messages from people who are on our last trip asking questions about can they go again it's it's just, it's remarkable. I'd be. I'd be quite satisfied just to live there and walk the streets and pray is the phenomenal setting. That's the guy and even just standing at the wall and praying. Sometimes, if you're there during the right time.

You will actually hear the Muslim call to prayer over the loudspeakers in Jerusalem superior the holiest site in all of Judaism. The put the place closest to where other people can get to where the holy of holies in the Temple used to be and you got this this I want to say California that's a pretty big word rope you got this this just the noise of different religions and cultures. But you know that God has a specific plan in a specific purpose for Israel. So being there.

You're actually standing in a place were prophecies being fulfilled before our very eyes. God has brought his children back to the land of Israel.

They were so excited they songs preparing you a minute was so real I think that's one of the strengths of our trips bro is that we get to do things will we will go to the sites, but we really can a touch life working to get to go behind-the-scenes. Like you said and you know some people might say well you know I'm I don't agree with everything that Israel does therefore I'm not going to go on a toward Israel, but I I would like to really challenge people with this. It's a great opportunity to see Israel with your own eyes, rather than through the lens of news organizations to rub shoulders with Arab believers and with Jewish believers to hear the love that they have for one another and the love that they have for Israel that far transcends just a patriotism exacted something so much deeper and I think that's really your heart to nobody on this trip is saying that Israel is perfect for what we are saying is that God's promises for Israel are still true and by being in the land together our hearts.

I really pray and believe will be opened up to God's heart for Israel, which also means that their hearts will be opened up to the Arab nations as well.

Exactly and many tours. Christian tours go and see the holy sites. So-called holy sites and historical sites, but they don't connect is one of our friend says with a living stone. Yeah with the messianic believers so ticked to go in and be with Missy and it usually must have special teaching you to pray together things like that.

I mean that's that's always very very special and I look God said he would scatter the Jewish people. God said he would regather. It's happened. You can't deny it if if he scattered no one can regather us right there. We are in the land. With this living reality that God keeps his promise that's right were looking at the Bible through a biblical lands as opposed to a political lens.

So when we are over there. We will be getting biblical paradigms, not CNN paradigms of what's really going on in Israel and I believe that our biblical lands and viewing Israel through the biblical lens will really give us a basis for even understanding the politics of Israel yeah and then we realize that the constant pressure of radical Islam surrounding is rests Israel's doing its best to keep its people safe and N2 to dwell in peace with its neighbors as well. That's impacting it and you'll see when you're looking at a historical site you'll see in English than in Hebrew and Arabic. Let's say Blacks made up 30% of the population but whites had 95% of certain jobs even though they were equally qualified disabled that's a disparity that the disparity and sometimes this affirmative action to correct that we need to balance that out. Once you do that you now open the door wide for persecution of Christians and the idea that John Wesley with his high moral code is strong teaching of of holiness. The ethics that he promoted that he would say all sure we should be embracing of practicing homosexuals but he addressed this because he wrote a commentary on the New Testament, he addresses these moral and cultural issues not the same as were facing today but same human nature and and he's crystal clear about where he stands on sexual purity. So if you want to quote John Wesley quote him holistically, but Cynthia, I I can assure you as far as pastors and leaders and bishops. These Methodists are quite in the minority.

I can also assure you that all over North Carolina. The church is that for the most part are thriving. The churches that are growing there churches that have the healthiest, most committed membership on average are the churches that really believe the Bible to be true and that hold to biblical morality and the biblical definition of marriage and family and the churches that are losing their members most rapidly. The churches that are hemorrhaging or the churches that are compromising their watering down the word so as to accommodate the world. There are becoming like the world to win the world which is basically like becoming an alcoholic to reach alcoholics. It doesn't work like that. We have cultural sensitivity but we become like Jesus.

To win the world so it is painful. I don't want to downplay the fact you been a lifelong Methodist. The fact is, I'm sure the church is changed a lot over the years and in the question is where is Jesus right now he's obviously wooing people back and calling them to repentance that I can almost guarantee you that this Bishop does not hold to the full and absolute authority of Scripture. The way Wesley would have, and that this Bishop would say look certain things have to be reinterpreted or understood differently. The bottom line is the most loving thing you could do is tell the truth when a doctor tells you that you have to change your diet lifestyle you could you could have a heart attack that's love. Speaking when you when you tell two men or two women who were romantically and physically involved. Your love may be real in your commitment to each other may be real but this is not what God calls marriage may be painful, but it's true and I love speaks the truth.

What we had a really healthy interesting discussion on this, but but the one saying the one thing that came out of this that I thought was really really interesting was quite a few suggested this social media to the suggestions quite a few suggested that perhaps we will have a president that will not be in harmony with our views and our values, we will have a president that will turn us even more in the wrong direction on moral and cultural issues impressed with Israel to but that's what it's can it take for the church to wake up the things are going to have to get worse before they get better. Is that possible. Of course it's possible.

It's certainly possible and it may just be that that's the direction we are heading. In other words, were staring in the wrong direction. So because of the way were steering things are going to get worse before they get better and maybe if we had enough bumps in the road and the road is collapsing under us will realize okay get off this road try to turn around going the wrong direction. What's interesting though is the responses I got the spell. Thanks so much for joining us a great program figure out bread from your vantage point in California where so many of these things are kind of cutting edge for better or worse as you look at the landscape now in America. If you look at see what's happening with target and things like that doesn't have the surprise your view been dealing with these things in your estate for years ready and surprisingly it really does.

How quickly the overseeing things change when the issue of boys going to girls locker rooms and showers and bathrooms first. I was just recently. This is not governor a long time the polls showed people were just outraged even in California about it but your overall majority reading petitions targeted on the ballot to get a reverse and then we start seeing it escalating real quickly on a national level with the above illustration a directing Department of Justice or education to give the ultimatums to Eric to public school thing they can't receive title I money, but they let boys going to girls bathrooms a lot around and we see companies large companies like target choosing to do something that just a very short while ago with thought of is as absurd, which is allowing men to going to women's restroom.

Yeah that that's an interesting perspective. I've known things like this were coming for years warned about them for years and yet the rapidity of change right. The fact that things have shifted so dramatically so quickly when it comes to transgender issues. Do we even have clear parameters scientific guidelines legal definitions that we can work with other than I perceive myself to be a man trapped in a woman's body really good question.

I research this and there is a very rare condition worse so we can have 2X and one Y chromosome and can create some issues visit at random insensitivity syndrome. Another very unusual condition. The overwhelming percent 99% of those goods we call transgendered their people have to stay a mental condition. Gender identity dysphoria dysphoria, meaning you're thinking something related like you think you're a dog and really not a documents with dysphoria, so this the real mental condition and the DNS for Gillispie book of manual so that it's nothing, absolutely nothing biological, medical, to justify the mental condition. In fact, John Hopkins, diversity their medical school and discontinued all sex change operations of the reason is because they've effectively discovered that this surgical approach to this mental condition does not reduce depression does not reduce attempted suicide or suicide. It does not actually help the person in terms of a quantitative measurable way, but it cut off completely and I think other hospitals I think will do the same as hopefully as they begin to realize the foolhardiness of the danger to so many people to to entertain the route of the medical drastic medical change of cutting off or human organ that are not hurting the body.

Yet Johns Hopkins did this some decades back under the leadership of Dr. Paul McHugh when he realized he tracks the people and he saw the yes on a certain level.

Some of their issues were resolved with the fundamental issues that they had in the fundamental confusion in the deeper things going on those things remained and and Dr. McCue made the statement, which we don't give life a section to an anorexic and and that's the whole thing.

The perception is obviously not rally where the rubber meets the road when you go to the doctor's office and is a male or female. The rescue for reason they want to know biologically what are you so we have can compassion on those who have a biological or chromosomal disorder, but in the vastness vast majority of cases, as you say, no one is going. I work through it and no longer have the dysphoria. It is insane that Caracalla should be prohibited for those who want to work through their gender identity, a dysphoria in a constructive remedial way 70% that that person is even give me a low estimate right and he is on the other exact width on the other side. Not on our part might deduct which: my five but to make it a lot harder if you dress Johnny as Jane for years and then you put Johnny on hormone blockers and all this but think of it in your state.

California so Johnny's parents can come in Johnny's eight years old he's diagnosed with gender dysphoria and now this. Okay, in the year two, we want to start to put them on hormone blockers distance to stop the on onset of puberty and then when he gets a little older we want have a sex change surgery. What is his later teams and hormones for life that's perfectly legal.

But if if it Johnny's parents going. There is a Johnny struggling with his gender identity think she's a girl and and we want to help him be at home, his body that's illegal. I mean it's it is insanity quickly realize is those who do have your transgender who have the surgery, the average transgender make that change hormonal and all, but not lived to the 30th birthday that the highest suicide rate, it is apparent orbit making the decisions, but having their children work through their gender identity issues constructively that placating to it, complicating it, expounding upon it, but what you just described.

There really likely at basically find the death, the death warrant for their child, and it is very very sad because they're there really a look at the big picture down the road also have important note that could make 11 false assumption they think well if the data generated or if the man and woman therefore probably gay. We actually had that happen down to Carlsbad, California but and in after loud and all that's required is for the be the boy.

For example, say that to declare that he feels inside that he feels like either a girl or female that day.

That moment that he is immediately entitled, he doesn't have to wear lipstick and press a certain way.

He just declares it and he legally entitled to go into the opposite effect.

Restroom locker room and shower and share with the guilty can be of the law is very very radical in this regard and created tremendous anxiety apprehension for so many people. In FY we work with the coalition to have a petition printed to an initiative to be on the ballot have this reversed by the people of California we had the signatures but the state of California has been validated enough of the signatures that it kept us. It was only a matter of months that this is in effect last year, when a boy who played ninth grade baseball now in the 11th grade identified as a girl was on the girls softball team, so aside from the competitive issue that you have biological males now competing with biological females in the unfairness that that brings you have a biological male in his sharing a locker room sharing shower stalls with young ladies. I what is the rationale behind this. How is it that you've got people voting for this in your your houses of of of legislature. There were they thinking. Most of the muscles boy you will remember, both physically are turned on by looking at the girls played out the dressing and charring being naked.

Issue that that girl that females any locking showers are very reasonable and rational to have anxiety about being visually violated by from the opposite effect by the legislature goes. They are overwhelmingly in favor this vehicle lived under the Democrats, the liberal liberal far left Democrats are totally their control of the state legislature, state to state that for family California. They are under the be a bequest of the LGBT movement. They control the candidate politicians with large large sums of money you know and love you Democrats are elected low income areas. Minority areas built with their constituents they look to where the money comes from the coach of the gay lesbian lobby and so so there's a real major disconnect with regard to the legislators and even their own constituents who majority it would not be in favor this is there a growing conservative population in California. Of perhaps growing Asian population coming in, or other other minorities or are they growing our date they tending conservative or does this still slant overwhelmingly towards liberal Democrat.

There is a there is some movement and with the Chinese and Korean community feel like a million Koreans here in the city California. We have even more, a Chinese immigrant, a prickly played like a periscope area and they are becoming very committed their very devoted with this, but the Scriptures say and believe that conviction not compromising others. Many of the Latino community also share the values and beliefs. The problem though with with everyone know that there in public schools. Both the kids overwhelming or public schools a public of the parents want their kids, especially if there migrated here. They want the kids will be a to learn English but the other to the public schools and public schools are very heavy with the indoctrination now with regards to the LGBT because of the neck build other discussion of all think they're doing now with regards to getting the gay agenda as well as the transgender agenda is one quick example read what I thought I could go in Oakland just a few years ago had transgender coming to class of first graders and kindergartners to her to tell them how they could be a boy on the outside of a girl on the inside that could be a boy girl.
