Thank you. Coast to coast. People on Sirius XM Channel 158 and people locked in on a smart speaker. You got one of those? You got it at home? You got it at work? Ask it to play the Infinity Sports Network.

You do not have to move a finger. Let us do the work. And we've had a busy show so far.

We'll continue to have a busy and good show. Gave you the latest on Tyreek Hill and his detainment on Sunday morning prior to the Dolphins and Jaguars game. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is calling for those officers to be fired. The Miami Dolphins are saddened by what took place. We learned that Justin Fields, it appears that he's in line right now to get another start for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they get ready to take on the Denver Broncos this Sunday. Russell Wilson still dealing with, I guess, a little bit of an issue with that issue with that calf, although it appears to be healing. And then we talked about a disappointment from last night, Monday Night Football. Week one of the NFL season is done.

Tom Flies, right? The New York Jets, they lost. Lost to the 49ers in Santa Clara.

No shock there. But the beat down was not fun to watch. The 49ers smoked them 32 to 19. There was no Christian McCaffrey. They had the backup Jordan Mason in there. He rushed for 147 yards.

So Christian McCaffrey was able to take a day off. Aaron Rodgers stunk. Jets offense stunk.

Defense stunk. And they could just lay claim to this being week number one. Next up for the Jets, they got the Titans. And thank God they don't have Derrick Henry anymore. But I'll tell you this, Jordan Mason went to work. And the 49ers, they might be in a little bit of trouble because Jordan Mason, after the game on ESPN, this man was asked when he learned that he was going to start. Let's keep in mind, like 90 minutes before the game, Christian McCaffrey was called out 90 minutes before the game.

Listen to what Jordan Mason had to say. When did you find out that you were going to be starting? When did I find out? Maybe Friday, Friday night, you know, something like that. What? Maybe Friday. Whoa, okay.

That's kind of circumventing the rules and what you're supposed to do. Oh, okay. Ouch. By the time he got to the podium, I guess somebody got in his ear and said, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We had Christian McCaffrey. He was going to play all the way up until Jordan Mason was asked about that. And let's just say he didn't want to talk about it anymore.

When did you find out that you'd be in the starting lineup? That question right there is where I'm at. That's why I don't like really talking to the media because you say one thing wrong and then, you know, I don't know. Just skip that question. Man, that's your fault. Hickey, that's his fault.

I wish I could yell at him. It's the media's fault? That's his fault.

Definitely the media's fault. It is sad that like his big day, career day overshadowed by, I mean, slip of the tongue. I don't know if he just admitted what he wasn't, you know, said the quiet part out loud. I do, I feel bad for him at least that he wasn't expecting that question, I'm sure. He didn't mean to start a controversy now. That's all people are talking about. Yeah, man. Just, let's just, I don't blame everybody. Why everybody want to blame the media?

Like I just, they just asked the questions and nobody forced you to say anything. Oh, anyway, at least they won. At least the 49ers are going to be competing for a championship and Christian McCaffrey, eventually he'll be back. No need for him to, you know, rush back for the next game.

Not, not necessary at all. The New York Jets, the team they beat on the other hand, they ain't no guarantees that they are doing anything. Jets took that out.

They have all of their hopes and dreams and aspirations. They are all pinned on Aaron Rogers. But let me tell you something now that week one is done. The New York Jets aren't the only team that went out there and disappointed in week one here in Atlanta, Georgia.

I told you yesterday, there was so many people hyped up to see what these new look Falcons could do, especially on the offensive side of the ball. People looked at Desmond Ritter and said, man, we don't have a guy who can deliver the ball down the field. He sucks. They bring in Kirk Cousins. Well, what did Kirk Cousins do in the first game? He sucked as well. Two interceptions, 155 yards passing.

Not what you signed up for. Not, not in week one, maybe in the playoffs, but not in week one. Let me remind you, Kirk Cousins did not play at all this preseason. The last time we saw Kirk Cousins was week eight of last season before he tore his Achilles. That's the last time we saw Kirk Cousins.

So maybe, maybe it was rusty. Maybe that wasn't enough practice getting the ball to Drake London, only 15 yards receiving. Maybe that wasn't enough practice getting the ball to Kyle Pitts, 26 yards. Let's go. Like, what are we doing here?

This is absolutely nuts. And then Kirk Cousins, he was asked about this. Hey man, you, you out there playing and you didn't play preseason. Is that why y'all suck? Listen to what Kirk said.

I think it's hard to say, I think, uh, uh, the key is that we're healthy, you know, for week one. And that was really the focus. And, um, uh, you know, there's, there's never excuses.

You gotta, you gotta be ready to go when your number's called regardless. And, um, and that was certainly, you know, no different today. Wow.

Picky, I think we work well together. It's only been, uh, what, nine months now, but even from the beginning, everything was seamless. We didn't have no practice. It's just like, Hey, make it happen. That's it. We come in, do a job and we try to do it as well as we can, as quick as we can.

And we're better than the Falcons, right? Not hard. This, oh, Hickey, come down, bruh. That was bad. Come on. My friends, my friends, Hickey, my friends are hurting. I'm a Falcons fan by osmosis.

Okay. My friends hurt. I hurt.

They're hurting bad. I could imagine. And rightfully so. I don't think anybody saw what was going to happen on Sunday. So I feel that I was a believer in the Falcons. I thought they'd win this game easily. I feel the pain. Well, let me tell you something. They ain't going, they got the Eagles on Monday night football next. And you know, who's after that.

Oh, remind me the chiefs. Yeah. Yeah. Oof.

A lot of air could be out of that balloon. Okay. Okay. Okay. They will not start the season only. They will not start the season 0-3.

All right. Wow. They're going to pick up, they kind of pick up one of these victories. They have to. They cannot start the season. They can't. It's not impossible. They can't.

They have too many weapons. They're going to get an accident gimme game here. All right. They're going to get one of those. Yeah. That was on Sunday.

No, no, no, no. Sunday was, let's see. And this is the cool thing about the NFL.

One day, like for instance, like how about this game? This past Sunday, the Bengals lost to the Patriots 16 to nothing. Like who would have thought that even with Jamar chase going out there playing, no, we didn't have T Higgins because he's been dealing with that hamstring issue, but a Jamar chase decides to show up. He hauls in almost all of their receiving yards, 62 yards receiving the next highest receiver only had 26 and they still lost to the Patriots of all teams. Like I don't think people paid that much attention to Joe Mixon being gone from the Bengals. Their tight ends suck. Their best next running back is Zach Moss.

Like let's come to planet earth. The Bengals were not supposed to lose to the Patriots, but everybody gets one of those games. You win one you're not supposed to win. You lose one you're not supposed to lose.

And that's how it goes. So congratulations to the Bengals, I guess, or at least the, uh, the Patriots for providing the Falcons, uh, some, some positivity, but the Bengals, eh, they ain't no fixing this. I'm sorry. Joe burrow, a healthy Joe burrow cannot will them to victory. They don't got the dogs.

They don't have them. Their head coach Zach Taylor. He can't say that, but I did. Uh, he said we just played sloppy and that's why we lost. It's frustrating that we didn't play well enough to win. That's the biggest frustration is looking at the turnover battle and looking at the missed tackles.

It is, it is as simple as that. You know, there's, there's execution in a lot of areas that was certainly good enough for us to win. Um, but when they get two extra possessions and, and they rushed for 170 yards, it's gonna be tough. Oh my goodness. They ain't going anywhere. I'm sorry.

Don't get slapped around there. They're going to win games because Joe burrow is, is good and great, but they look like they're just going through the motions on Sunday. Come on.

Who's into the Patriots. I didn't think I'd see Jacoby preset happy after a, uh, after, well, of course he'd be happy after a victory. I didn't think it'd be after week one, Vicki. I had to turn my head. I forgot what I was doing.

I was like, are they interviewing Jacoby preset? And I was like, Whoa, after a win, didn't expect that one. Same. Yeah, that was, I mean, there are a lot of shocks that score and the Patriots being now one and Oh, never gave me a hundred guesses of the crazy thing that happened in week one. Wouldn't have given you that one. Yeah. You know, you mentioned the chiefs, the Falcons got them in two weeks.

The bangles have them right away. And I know people will scream and yell about Joe burrow three and one versus my homes, three and one versus my homes, that one loss coming in the AFC championship game. But damn that, that, this is not the time you want to see the Kansas city chiefs.

All I, I, I have visions of Xavier worthy, just running through my head, running past everybody, bangles. I think this is, they're going to be fine, but they not going to be no Superbowl contender. I'd be shocked.

And then if we stay in Ohio, we got to connect the two, right? You want to talk about another disappointing team. And they might be disappointing for other reasons because their quarterback is being investigated again, following another lawsuit, alleging a sexual assault. Now innocent until proven guilty.

But when you have to settle 25 plus sexual assault lawsuits, come on now. I'm not, I don't know, but that's just, damn the Sean Watson can't catch a break or maybe he can't stay out of trouble. We saw the Browns get smacked by the Cowboys 33 to 17.

The defense will keep them alive. How long before we see Jamis Winston is the Sean Watson is his confidence shot. Is he, is he kind of a, you know, falling apart here at the seams? The Sean Watson said my confidence. Oh, it's fine.

I don't know. I'm always be the Sean Watson, regardless of whoever else say otherwise, you know? So, you know, you're going to have days like this. We all have days like this, we all have days like this when you're playing this type of game, you know, and that's just part of what comes with it.

It comes with the territory and, um, especially in my position, you know, much is given much is required. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Wow. $230 million guaranteed. This is what, this is what happens in the new NFL. These guys get so much money, so much money. The quarterbacks get paid so much money and they can't perform except for the Browns are dumb enough to give, given him 230 mil thinking that he was going to change their world. Knowing that he had these issues that he had, maybe this is karma for the Browns. And speaking of a guy making tons of money, Trevor Lawrence has stepped into that space.

The 50 plus million dollar club. What a disappointing loss that was. Jaguars out here losing to the Miami dolphins, 20 to 17, Trevor Lawrence, 12 of 21.

Yeah, this is a guy making, you know, 53, $55 million a year, but I earned that money, man. Trevor Lawrence, he said, we ain't worried about it. We know we have to improve and get better. The reality is though, it's, it's week one, we're 0-1. Not the start we wanted, but even if we're 1-0, we still have 16 more games that we got to do something with. So the mindset doesn't change for us. Obviously that, you know, there's some sense of urgency and we got to clean some stuff up.

It was pretty sloppy at times. Oh, okay. All right.

Listen to this. We got two disappointments that are going to face each other this upcoming Sunday. We got the Browns and the Jaguars. Somebody has to win, right? One of these Clemson quarterbacks has to pick up a victory. Is it going to be Trevor Lawrence? Or is it going to be Deshaun Watson? If Deshaun, if Deshaun Watson loses his game, man, come on. They're going to be calling for Jameis Winston. Jameis is going to be, you know, jumping double Dutch on the sideline, ready to hop into the game.

People are calling for this man already. The Browns, their defense is going to save that ass, but they have the possibility of imploding. Or Deshaun Watson has an MVP season. Maybe.

He hasn't proven to be anything or shown anything indicative of it. Good luck to all the teams that have sucked so far and disappointed us after week one. There's 16 more games. Turn it around. It's the J.R.R. team that's going to be 16 more games. Turn it around.

It's the J.R.R. Sportbree show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. We're going to take a break when we come back on the other side.

This is not going to be a disappointment. Armando Saguero is going to join us. NFL staff writer Fox News outkick covers all things football. I'm going to get his thoughts not on the disappointments, maybe some, but on some of the good teams. I want to get his thoughts on what I just said about the Bengals. I want to ask him about the Dolphins and Tyreek.

I want to get into the Bills. We got a lot to discuss with Armando Saguero on the other side of the break. It's the J.R.R. Sportbree show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. Listen. You're listening to the J.R.R. Sportbree. It's the J.R.R.

Sportbree show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. NFL week one. It's a wrap. It's over.

I can't believe it. Last night, the Jets and 49ers finished us off. We got the Miami Dolphins and the Bills getting a set from week two starting on Thursday to talk about the Dolphins, to talk about football, to talk about everything, the good, the bad, the ugly, and in between. Joining us right now is an NFL writer for years, senior NFL writer, covers the game for Al Kick and Fox.

It's Armando Saguero. Armando, welcome back. What up, J.R.?

How are you? Long time. We got football back now, huh? Yeah. And you know, it's coming at us hot and hectic. And yeah, before you know it, Thursday is going to be here and we're on to week two. Now, let me ask you this. I know you're based in Florida.

We all have heard about this Tyreek Hill situation. Is this like done? Are we going to see something positive come out of here? Are we going to get a summit or is this over?

We get lawsuits. What's going on? Well, it's definitely not done. And the reason it's not done is there is an ongoing internal investigation by the Miami Dade Police Department relative to the actions and behavior of their officers in that traffic stop of Tyreek Hill prior to Sunday's game between the Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars. And so, you know, until we have a finish to that investigation, it's going to continue to move along.

I can tell you that it's just a sad, it was a sad episode for everyone involved. Look, I talked to a current police detective out west who is a major crimes detective. He's a former South Florida resident, a Miami Dolphins fan, and was tied into the team at the highest levels once upon a time. And he broke it down for me. And it's as simple as this. Tyreek Hill, when he was ordered to roll down his window, brother, roll down your window and, and, you know, do what the cop says. As a matter of fact, in Florida, you have an obligation to, uh, you know, do what the cop is asking slash requesting slash commanding. Uh, and if you have an argument with it, you, you figure that out in court later on. You don't, you know, you don't fight with the guy on scene because it ends up, you get dragged to the floor and it turns ugly as far as the cops are concerned.

This policeman told me, look, that was just poor training, a lack of training, uh, too much testosterone, no ability to deescalate. It was just a bad, bad look for the Miami-Dade police department and those officers. So basically everybody got it wrong and it looked like everybody got it wrong. And of course now everybody's picking sides and we'll see what happens from here.

Yeah, two wrongs don't make a right. Armando Sarguero is joining us, NFL staff writer for Outkick and Fox. Well, if we think about the football on the field, the Dolphins will be back in action on a short week against the Buffalo Bills. Uh, based on what you've seen, based on what we saw last year, what is your outlook for these, these, uh, Miami Dolphins, especially in this AFC East with the Bills and also the Jets?

Yeah, so I don't even believe you mentioned the Jets there in last place. Um, so right now, anyway, uh, the Dolphins are, you know, basically the same kind of team that we saw last year, a team that relies on its passing game, a team that relies big time on a scheme, uh, that gets the ball out quick and relies on to a tongue of a law to read the defense quick, go through his progressions quick and, and be accurate. The thing that the Jacksonville Jaguars did for most of last week's game, the first three quarters at least was they took away the first read for Tua and that, that forced them to do and say this, that, that put him in rough, rough territory. Uh, and it looked bad and the Jaguars were ahead for most of that game until Tua found Tyreek Hill for an 80 yard touchdown pass. And the rest is history. So that's what the dolphins are.

What are the bills? Uh, two words, Josh and Allen. It's, it looks like hero ball and he is the best player on the field most game days. And he certainly was on Sunday. He had four touchdowns, uh, two running, two passing, and it's great when it works, but I wonder how sustainable that is, uh, over a 17 game season.

Armando Saguaro is joining us here, the JR sport b show on the infinity sports network. When you take a look at what we did see some of the positives from week one, what is, what's something that you think is worth highlighting? Well, let's start with no sophomore jinks for CJ Stroud.

Okay. Uh, the man, the, the man in his second season comes out a one 15, nine quarterback rating to touchdown passes. And in typical CJ Stroud fashion, no interceptions. Uh, he just doesn't make a lot of mistakes. And now they've got a running game.

Joe Mixon had 159 yards. So, you know, uh, they're good. Also good.

The Kansas city key. Imagine that they're good too. And the problem for everybody else is they might be better than they were last year when they won the super bowl and the year before when they won the super bowl. And so now we're talking three Pete, and I think it's a good idea to three Pete. And I think it's legitimate talk because did I mention they're really good.

They've got a passion game that a lot of people are going to go. This is a problem. They are worth worthy is a problem. Uh, Rasheed rice is a problem. And when Hollywood Brown gets healthy, he's going to be what a problem.

So, yeah, I mean, argue with that one if you want. And then in the other conference, the Cowboys, I was impressed by that performance. They, they just put it to the Browns and in every which way that they, they wanted. And, you know, Cleveland came into that game as a super bowl aspirant, not, not a team that thinks he can win or hopes to win the division. They aspired to win the super bowl and the Cowboys is related to them.

Just, just dominated as senior NFL writer, Armando Saguero was here with us. You mentioned the Dallas Cowboys and we know Dak Prescott is now the highest paid quarterback ever, making $60 million annually. You know, some of the other quarterbacks you mentioned, whether it be the Jags or the Browns, these dudes are hauling in, you know, 53 and $55 million.

You talk about to a Tonga Velo. He's in that 50 plus million dollar club. Now Armando, we know the salary cap is going to continue to go up. We know the expectations out of quarterbacks out the gate.

They continue to go up. You look at a Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels at what point, or do we reach an inflection point in five or 10 years, where it's just like, look how much money we're paying the quarterbacks and these guys are average or they're not good enough. Do we ever reach that? Or is the NFL making so much money?

It doesn't matter. That's a great point. Look, there is, it's better to not have a quarterback to be lacking a good quarterback and knowing that you've got to go get one than to have one that you're paying a lot of money to and you've committed to, and you think is going to be good, but is it all that good? Because now you're not winning championships. You're still paying a high price and you're chances of, of being bad enough to be great or to get great are diminished. That's a terrible position to be in. Um, there are some teams that find themselves on the border of that position and some teams that are all the way in that position, including the New York giants. Oh boy. Remember, remember they, they paid Daniel Jones $40 million a year.

And when they did that, and it doesn't look like a, like a big number now, but when they did it, it was a huge number. And how many championships have they won with him? Oh, none. And how great is he? Oh, he's not. And how many winning seasons has he provided?

Oh, zero. So that's, uh, that's all stuff that, that, you know, can really set your team, uh, upside down and not in a good way. Yeah. That's a lot of money flowing here in the NFL. I know Armando, you feel, you feel good about the chiefs would not be surprised if they went out there. The first team in a Superbowl era to repeat what seemed to you think has the best opportunity to knock them off coming out of the NFC or maybe even the AFC.

Yeah. So, I mean, obviously Philadelphia has a stack roster. The San Francisco 49ers have a stack roster, man, the 49ers are just there. They're just so good and they've got the system and they've got the talent and yes, they are paying through the nose for all of it, but I don't think that their fans who go to the games on game day are thinking, Oh, how much are we under the salary cap? Is this really going to be a problem for us when they're winning?

Okay. So nobody thinks salary cap when the number that gets put on the board or the letter that gets put on the board rather is a W. So obviously the 49ers are, are a thing. Um, in the AFC to challenge Kansas city, well, I mean, Baltimore gave them a game, a good game. So then I was a little disappointed by the Bengals. I expect big things from the Bengals this year, but you know, I guess Joe burrow never starts fast. And when your wide receiver core is not a hundred percent either there or all there at all, like T Higgins wasn't, they're not quite the same team anymore. The dolphins are good. The bills are good.

But did I mention that the, the chiefs are really, really, really, really good. Yeah. Three P I guess we'll see Armando, are you, are you going to go to the parade if they, they three P are you? No. Yeah.

Uh, so, uh, I don't know about that. Okay. Okay. Uh, I, I, I definitely go to the, be at the game if they are there for the three P that's for sure. I hear that. I hear that. Well, Armando, thank you so much as always for the insight. Where can people follow you and all of your work and expertise on outkick and elsewhere? Yes, sir. Outkick.com foxnews.com on social media on X at Armando Salguero, S A L G U E R O. I appreciate you JR. All the time.

Always great to chat with you. Let's see what these dolphins do on a, on Thursday. I know the running backs might be in a little bit of trouble. We'll see. Yes, sir.

Sounds good. No doubt about it. That Armando Salguero of Fox news and outkick. And as I mentioned, the dolphins running backs, uh, eight chain and most are dealing with their own respective injuries.

It looks like ankle and also a chest. And so maybe the Buffalo bills will get a little bit of a break as Josh Allen tries to roll around and create magic Thursday night football. Damn it. How about that? It's only two nights away. How do we get here already? What's today? September 10th. Oh my God. Hickey made it make the clock go backwards, man.

What are we doing here? September 10th. You're going to blink. It's going to be November 10th.

Oh, don't say that. Then December 10th. Oh, then we're into February. It's already getting dark. Is it black outside in New York?

Is it dark? Oh yeah. Yes, sir. Unfortunately it's only going down and we got what four, five, six months of this six, seven months. And it's only going to get worse too before it gets better. That's also depressing.

Wow. Can we think about something happy here? Like, come on, something happy. Football's back. You know, it's good to watch the games. Time may be flying, but at least, you know, spending it, watching some good football, not good football, but this is what you call a seasonal depression. It's going to come a point in time, Hickey, where I'm just like, Hey, you know, I could run down the block and grab so-and-so and just be like, no, it's cold outside, man. My house is warm.

I don't want to do that. You should not have, or you should not be allowed to have seasonal depression right now. Me? In Atlanta? What are you talking? It gets cold down here. It's cold right now. What is it? 85 degrees? What was it today?

I don't know. Probably 80 something. Feels like summer.

All right. When it's 30, when it's 25 degrees here in New York city and it's dark at four o'clock, then you can have seasonal depression. It's 80 degrees right now. 80 degrees and cloudy.

Come on. It's a summer day. Today you said is 86 and cloudy. Okay. Tomorrow's only 80.

Only 80. Well, I'll be with you in a couple of days. What's the weather like? Yeah.

Yeah. I'm bringing the weather 81 and sunny on Friday. You'd be okay. I might not let you go back to Atlanta.

I have to keep you here, man. I'm looking at the forecast. It's good. 80 degrees every day and sunny. What are you talking about?

It is getting a little bit nicer here, but the overall thoughts, seasonal depression as fall really rolls in here and the darkness is upon us earlier. That's really when, you know, you go to some dark places. We can't, we can't blame rich Ackerman for that. No. Sure.

Oh, we absolutely can. No, no, no, no. I'm, I'm, I'm the captain of that team. The captain of what?

Darkness? No, the captain of being sad about the diminished daylight hours. I thought we were going to blame you for the weather being crappy. To me, to me, my birthday is a bittersweet day because it's the longest day of the year, but it's all downhill from there.

We're going to, we're going to learn something here. What type of solstice is this? September something or another? The autumnal solstice. Is it not?

I'm coming up. Bruh. I don't know. I didn't learn. I thought the longest day of the year was in June. It is. Oh, I thought. Yeah.

That's what I'm saying. What my, you know, I get excited about that, but it's the same time I get sad because the days get shorter after that. It's all downhill. When, when is, when is this thing over?

What does this thing call? When is summer over? Like the 21st or something? The 21st, I believe. Yeah. The 20th or the 21st, depending on like when the, when the moon hits or something like that. Summer is officially going to be done in like two weeks.

Yeah, I don't. Wow. Hey, I looked out the window the other day and I was like, wow, that tree has leaves out of dine.

The leaves are turning brown. I said, what are we doing here? To this day, the US open still gives me nightmares because it always meant the day after the final was the first day of school for me. Oh my God. Wow.

Yeah. Well, listen, we got a lot of people back in school. We got people back to work. We got people finished with vacation.

Thank you so much. Armando Salguero for joining us. Senior NFL writer been covering the league for a very long time right now for Fox news and out kick.

Appreciate you Armando. He like a lot of people take a look at the Kansas city chiefs and what they've done over the past several years, what they've done this past off season. Now they've added a nuclear weapon on the football field, another speedster and Xavier Worthy. Hey, it's like, Hey, what's, what's a season or two without Tyreek Hill? Who needs him?

We got a faster, younger version. Now I'm not saying he's going to be Tyreek Hill. That man is on a trajectory to go straight into the hall of fame, but damn Xavier worthy on the football field. Who's catching him?

Nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody. So we'll, we'll see what happens this upcoming Thursday as the NFL season continues. We too, the Buffalo bills down in Miami against the Miami dolphins. And so thank you to Armando for all of your expertise and your thoughts. I do want to mention this Armando told us who he was confident in the chiefs. What a shock, right? Come on now. Of course, Michael Parsons is not just confident in the Dallas Cowboys.

Michael Parsons is confident in himself. We just saw what the Dallas Cowboys did to those Cleveland Browns. They smashed them.

We saw what has happened over the past month. Dak Prescott got a deal. 60 mill a year.

The CD lamb got a deal. 34 million bucks a year. Michael Parsons. He got to wait his turn. This is the final year of his rookie deal. Fourth year. The Dallas Cowboys have already picked up the fifth year of his contract. He's going to make $21 million next year. So he's next in line. And if you think about this man, Michael Parsons and his accomplishments at only 25 years old, Michael Parsons already has been a multiple time or pro multiple time pro bowler and the highest paid guy in the league right now, Nick Bosa, $34 million a year. Michael Parsons knows.

And he said this on the edge podcast. I'm next. I'm getting paid. Next watch.

Having our guys CD lamb and Dak Dunn. It means the world for us. And then a lot of fans is worried about me, man. I know I'm going to be a cowboy. You know, there's nothing like cowboy nation.

I think the love is very mutual. But as for me, man, I'm just focused on winning games. I want to win those big games. I want to win those playoff games, get to the super bowl. For me, the contract is not really what I'm worried about. It's just me being the best player I can be for my guys, my teammates. And you know, if a contract, something like that happens furthermore up, then that happens. But right now we're going to focus on just trying to be legendary, be great and bring championships back to Dallas.

Cause that's what the most important thing is. Oh my goodness. Nothing against Michael Parsons. I don't know the guy from a hole in the wall, but we've heard that for so long. I don't need to hear that from anybody else coming out of Dallas. We're here.

We want to bring championships back. Oh man, we are pulling up on 30 years. Hickey, am I, am I, am I doing math correctly? Are we, are we almost pulling up on 30 years? 1995, right? Yeah, 95 into 96.

Yes. What are we doing? What do we, this almost been 30 years.

He wasn't alive. I mean, Jerry Jones has done all of this selling for so long, but I mean, we got guys who aren't even alive right now. We got dudes who don't even remember a Dallas Cowboys championship telling everybody we're going to bring the championships back. Oh my goodness. We just have one at least one. Damn it. Whoa.

Wow. Hickey, the last time Jerry Jones won a championship, he was in his fifties. Oh, that does hammer home how long ago. This guy's in his fifties. We are really having conversations about, and not, not, you know, terrible, but he had, he had to answer a question the other day about his mortality and seeing another championship. He last won one in the, in his fifties.

Jerry Jones has won his fifties, his sixties. How many McGriddles ago is that you think? Oh my God.

10,000. Do we got to count the sodium in his mind? What's a trip like to the doctor's office with Jerry Jones? Oh, do you think he strikes me as he strikes me as someone who doesn't go the doc? No, the doctor comes to his house.

No, no. Like he just, ah, I'm good. I don't need, I don't need a doctor. No, no yearly checkup. Just I'm going to eat what I eat, do what I do and I'll be fine.

How is he alive? I'm not, I'm serious. I mean, I hope McGriddles with extra salt. I really hope maybe that was a, a one-off maybe like a cheat meal like once a year and the camera just happened to get them. There are very few, I could probably out of every season I've ever watched of hard knocks, which is probably all of them. I didn't watch this one with the bears because there's no cussing in it.

So I didn't watch it yet. I'll get there. There are probably 10 moments that I could remember. I remember Rex Ryan, let's go get a snack. I remember Antonio Cromartie trying to name his children. I'm trying to remember. Hugh Jackson fighting with, with Tom. Oh my goodness.

The office coordinator. I don't remember that one. Oh, that was good.

Put him in his place. That was a good one. Don't remember that one.

They were in a coach's room, right? Yes. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Because he was getting fired. This was with the Raiders. No, this is with the Browns.

With the Browns. Okay. Todd Haley. That was it. They were like, he was trying to call the offense and he said, Todd, I'm the head coach.

I got it. Something like that. Whatever that was.

Put him in his place. I remember that one. There's something from the Ravens I'm trying to remember, but I don't. Oh, Shannon Sharp.

Doing what? The impersonate, some rookie impersonate Shannon Sharp. Yeah. I remember that.

No, but there was one with Ray Lewis when he was still there. And then I remember this guy, Jerry Jones, pouring salt on his McGriddles. Like, what are you, how much, how much more salt? He's like pouring salt into the ocean.

What are you doing? How bad are his taste buds? He doesn't have any. Come on now. Can Jerry Jones lick a stamp? Probably not. That's the JR sport we show. We'll be back if we don't get fired.
