So, when you go to halftime, you get the local news, and it's a bunch of people that have no power, people getting shot, people getting robbed, you know, just typical news stuff, you know? Oh, I had. NFL, I I was seeing like highlights from the other games. Because I'm on NFL Network. Oh, okay.
Yeah, I'm watching the Philadelphia Eagles play, and uh.
Next thing I know, I'm looking at SEPTA and people getting on the bus and tragedies outside the SEPTA.
So I'm like, okay, this is not football.
Okay. Um I don't think I'm missing anything if I switch back to the Colts and the Ravens, am I? What am I looking for? Potentially more bad quarterback play from the Colts? There's nothing for me to look at.
This is a probably inappropriate. Like there's nothing for me to look at but then just to see Derrick Henry's arms out there. The guy has on a hoodie, With no sleeve. Did did he cut the sleeves off or or is it made like that? Good question.
I I would like to think He he just ripped the the seams off? But I think he cut him off. Derrick Henry's arms are like Hulk Hogan's from the eighties.
Okay, this guy's arms are ridiculous. Don't want to get stiff armed by that guy. And then he moves like the wind. It makes no sense. What a freak Anyway, the Baltimore Ravens are beating up on the Colts 21-9.
But the big story out of this game. Is the fact that Anthony Richardson was sacked. He was blind sided. Apparently, the running back didn't give a damn about his QB. That's why the guy will probably get cut tomorrow.
Whoever the running back was, it was not Jonathan Taylor. Anthony Richardson out for the rest of the game. with a finger injury. We don't know the extent. And if you're a quarterback The last thing you want you don't want no injuries.
But certainly anything that's going to prevent you from Grabbing the ball, snapping the ball, holding on to the ball, throwing the ball. Yeah, in football. Especially as a quarterback, you you need your hands. But we don't know. Maybe he's perfectly fine.
Maybe he's not. Anthony Richardson, he spoke last week. About this quarterback competition between him and Daniel Jones, and let's just say. He's behind the eight ball. I just feel like it helps both of us, you know, limit the mistakes that we make because we know what's on the line.
It just helps us be able to make plays and just showcase what we can do as quarterbacks for this team. I feel like it's brought the level of the competition up for the team because they know there's a QB battle going on right now and everybody else is like, okay, they got to compete too.
So I think it just helps the whole team and we just decided that we had the opportunity to come out here and compete. before he was driven into the ground and destroyed. Anthony Richardson completed two of three passes. Good for him. That's that's improvement.
That's improvement. I'm happy for the guy. We're used to seeing him complete less than 50% of his passes, so that's progress. Anyway, Daniel Jones. 10 of 22.
10 of 21. For 144 yards, passing, no interceptions. And so I guess that's a positive for Daniel Jones. It's whatever.
Meanwhile, that's not the only game that we got going on right now, this moment, this second. The Cincinnati Bengals have started the past two seasons off. And the toilet. They know how to go 0-3. They're perfect at that.
And so this season, the Cincinnati Bengals have decided to play their starters. They want some type of continuity. Going into the regular season. And so at halftime, which I was watching as I learned about all the crime in Philadelphia, the Eagles are beating the Bengals 24.
So fourteen. Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase, these guys are just peanut butter and jelly since they were in college. Joe Burrow, one hundred and twenty three yards passing. He completed nine of ten passes for two touchdowns. Jamar Chase was the recipient.
of one of those touchdowns in seventy seven yards. The Bengals. Can they be worse than they were last year? No, they can't, right? They have to be.
There's so much more. Competitive. Their head coach, Zach Taylor, he says, I understand how this goes. The most important thing. For these guys to get real repetitions in a game, even if it's preseason.
Game atmosphere.
So going on the road like we are week one. We do have a road primetime game early in the season.
So the heights are on, you're in a road environment, that's great. Getting everybody off the field, as much as we practice it and do it, it's not the same feel.
So I think just those eleven guys being in the huddle on both sides of the ball, I like it. Here you got an NFL head coach. And Zach Taylor goes, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, preseason matters. We got to get our guys out there. These are reps, live reps in a game.
And then you got Aaron Rodgers the other day. Aaron Rodgers is like, listen, people. These preseason games are not even real football. Not by any stretch, it's all fake. Hey, Nick Siriani, he's coming off of a Super Bowl.
Jalen Hurts is sitting around lounging with a headset on, and Saquon is minding his business. Yeah, there are no Eagles worth a damn in this game. Nick Siriani, what you lookin' for in the preseason, huh? What you're looking for when you play a game like this is that you're looking at all your habits. Um when the pressure's high and the stakes are high, that all your habits come to life.
Man, these guys don't be knowing what to say. It's like, oh, damn, I got to say something. They just think of whatever comes to their mind. At that moment and at that second. We have another preseason game.
Tonight. We have Las Vegas in Seattle. which means we have a returning Pete Carroll, who's the brand new head coach of the Raiders, And also Geno Smith, who who just left. And so both of these guys are going to return. Pete Carroll is gonna get Like some type of video tribute.
Why not? He won a Super Bowl and then lost another one. Uh But yeah. Las Vegas and Seattle. It should be a fun one to see.
P Cow Talking about being back in Seattle. Always upbeat and positive. Listen to him. It's the only game we got. It happens to be in Seattle.
I loved my time in Seattle and loved the fans and the people that we met and dealt with and competed with. But it's a game for us. We can go play ball. I'm not looking forward to nothing in this game. I want to see what Ashton Genty's going to do, right?
He got to get him some touches. I know he played a lot in college, played a whole hell of a lot in college, touched the ball like every damn snap in college. He was Boise State in college. But I want to see him and Gino. Playing for the Raiders.
Pete Carroll said, You know what? I'm just going to play everybody. I'm not hesitant to play young guys. And we kind of almost force them into it and force to feed them until they show us who they are, what they're all about, and how much they can handle. And it isn't all on them.
It's on us to make sure that we ask them to do things that they're capable of doing at this time. Oh. I feel these are too. Meh, NFL teams this year. Both the Seahawks and the Raiders just make me shrug my shoulders.
I'm supposed to believe in a team that has Sam Donald as their starting quarterback. It's like Sam Donald was in Space Jam last year. He got some secret stuff. He is, I don't know, he got somebody's powers injected into him. And he played out of his mind.
I mean, he played the way that people thought he might be able to play. coming out of UIC. But to think that Sam Darnold is going to wake up and give you another 35 touchdowns. I think Not. Got some weapons, though, right?
Jackson, Smith, and Jigba? Cooper Cup, if he's healthy. He hasn't been healthy in a couple of years. Yeah, this is not going to be good. And then we got Jalen Milro.
And he's probably going to get more of the action tonight for the Seattle Seahawks, but. Seattle is just kind of treading water. At this point in time. Mike McDonald. The new head coach of Seattle took over for Pete Carroll.
He talked about what we can expect and what he wants to see from the Alabama product. Listen to him talk about Jill and Milro. You know, you don't have to reinvent quarterback play, just do all the things that you've been training to do. Go let it rip. Be decisive and um You know, be the quarterback and person that we drafted you to be and that he's becoming out there every day.
Yeah, well. But good luck on that one. Good good luck. He's going to run the football. You don't want him throwing the ball.
Not at this stage of his career. Let's see what he does. The Seattle Seahawks and the Las Vegas Raiders, they kick off. in about an hour's time. Uh some other NFL news outside of any of the three games taking place tonight.
We learned earlier today that Rashawn Slater has a torn patellar tendon. In his knee? The highest paid left tackle in the NFL for the Los Angeles Chargers is Is out for the season. Not going to end well for Mr. Harbaugh, Jim Harbaugh as he looks to have his guys out in the trenches and to protect Justin Herbert.
Also, we learned that a defender is and a kicker. for the Steelers are looking for some new deals. Cam Hayward. Looking for a new contract. He was an all-pro last year.
Pro Bowler again. Had eight sacks for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's the eighteenth highest paid defensive tackle in the league. He's making fourteen million dollars. Chris Jones on the Chiefs is making twice that amount, more than twice.
And so he's looking for a new contract. Apparently, he. is not working out. And then you got Chris Boswell, who's a kicker. He wants a new contract as well for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He's a kicker, so his ass is kicking that football. Bacha, could you imagine if a kicker was just like, I want a new deal? I'm not practicing. There I think there's a a total of maybe seven kickers in NFL history that might have had that power. And I really doubt Chris Boswell is one of them.
I understand all pro. Pro Bowler. But you're a kicker and you have to understand with kickers you guys aren't trustworthy year to year. one hip injury and your career is over. Yeah, man, it's uh Yeah, just them them kickers.
Uhoh what is this about? Uho. Uh botch it is. There's a group of people who or a crypto group that organize these uh These rubber objects being thrown onto the floor at these WNBA games? Actually, so this is like a underground.
So it's like a it's These were planned. These were planned attacks. I planned it Zach's.
So what do you gotta you gotta be a part? Oh my goodness. A meme, I'm not saying this. The meme coin called green. Yes, whatever that object was.
So, what happens? These guys are these young people getting money for doing this since they're criminals now?
So I think It's kind of, is it insider trading, kind of, in a way? Because if the meme coin is named after the object, right? and said objects keep happening. That'll drive the interest in said coin.
So it's basically fraud.
So these people might be getting more charges. Oh, nice. Terrific. Oh, this guy the guy who got booked It hit a nine-year-old kid.
Now, come on, man. You can't take your kids outside. They getting hit. Could you am man? These are grounds for getting punched in the face.
People are throwing objects at games as sexual in nature. They're hitting nine year old children like Yeah, you should get locked up and beat up for that. And beat up. And what a world that we live in. This things are this is such a backwards ass place.
These things are bad. Like Teddy Bridgewater, he's back with the Buccaneers. We learned that yesterday. And Teddy Bridgewater is sitting around. Explaining why he was suspended from the high school, that he won a state championship.
Because he got his kids Uberized. And they're just like, nah, you can't do that. Impermissible benefits. And he has an explanation for it. A matter of fact, we're going to take a break.

For ISN. We got an update. On Anthony Richardson. And his finger injury, the one that knocked him out of the game on the second drive. for the Indianapolis Colts.
Apparently Anthony Richardson, has a dislocated pinky finger, On his right hand, which happens to be his throwing hand. This is according to Shane Steichen, the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. And he has no idea. How long he'll be sidelined.
Now, with a dislocation, You never know. I snap it back in, or maybe it's not good. We know this is not good for him as he tries to compete. For the starting quarterback job alongside Daniel Jones. Botcher had noted.
He was blindsided. This isn't one of those shoulder issues that he typically deals with, where he wants to challenge the world as a quarterback. Trying to go at linebackers and safeties. He was just hit, and nobody, he didn't see it coming, just smashed into the ground. At the same time, Let's let's note.
Jonathan Taylor. Was not the running back on the field to help protect him? And also Even though Anthony Richardson got the start today. The Indianapolis Colts did not play. They're offensive line veterans here.
There was no Quentin Nelson out there. They were playing the backups. Like, is he setting Anth Bacho? Is he setting Anthony Richardson up for failure? He just wants to see him get his ass kicked?
It's kinda backwards that you play You're both starting quarterbacks and no veterans on the line. I think. Just the idea behind that itself proves that you're not a great coach. It just seems dumb. And I don't see why.
Shane Steichen always seems miserable anyway. What has he accomplished in the NFL to beat one of the miserable quarterbacks?
Well he hm I feel like he's just been through so much, I guess you could say, with Anthony Richardson that he's Let them out hang him out to dry. He's sick and tired of being sick and tired? Yes.
So he's like, I'm going to either get this guy to succeed or fail, and we'll get a new quarterback. It's like one of those jilted lover stories. Yeah. Well, how about this? If and when the Indianapolis Colts win anything, Shane Steichen won't be the head coach.
Daniel Jones will not be the starting quarterback. And neither will Anthony Richardson. And so, whenever the Colts do win something, I don't know, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15 years from now. They can all get on the phone with each other and go, hey, remember when we tried? Or maybe not.
They'll probably want. Nothing to do with each other. Kinda crazy how life works in that regard. And good luck to Anthony Richardson. I didn't see it sitting in the studio.
Apparently, his pinky, I just told you, was dislocated. His Pinky was goin' a wrong damn way.
Okay, I don't know. You need that pinky to throw the ball, to hold on to the ball. He's already a A turnover risk waiting to happen.
So. We'll see. 888-710-4ISN. Speaking of quarterbacks, I told you about Teddy Bridgewater. PUNISHE FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING Yeah, they know what they say.
No good deed. Goes. unpunished. Last year Teddy Bridgewater. ended up coaching.
his old high school, Miami Northwestern, and they ended up winning a state championship. He also decided to resign with the Detroit Lions. He did not play a game. I mean, he played a game, I think, at the end, got a couple plays in, but he didn't play. He was just a backup out there.
to Jared Goff. And then he said, I'm going to go back to coaching my guys, and then I'll probably go back to the NFL. He was suspended. From the high school football team. They said that he ultimately provided impermissible benefits, to the players and the talent.
like buying them food. and getting them transportation.
Now, in a lot of cases, you understand the rule, or you understand why the rule exists. You want to have every school. On the same playing field. No unfair advantages. You don't want to have one team showing up on a luxury bus and the other team has to take the struggle bus.
Through a game. You want it even. You don't want anybody going out there and just buying success and buying victory. But they just something a little bit different about getting your students to and from a game. It's unlike Teddy Bridgwater bought them Hummers and tried to do this to entice you know, future students from attending the school.
That that that's not the case. And so Teddy Bridgwater, after signing a contract yesterday, to now back up Baker Mayfield down in Tampa Bay. Teddy Bridgewater explained this situation. and why he decided to do it. It's kinda crazy.
This is what he had to say about the the the changes that he wants to see. in high school sports down in Florida. Yeah, uh there are a lot of changes, you know, you'd like to see. But um And um I guess in due time, you know, those changes will happen. But, um Until the end, man, um I can't change who I am, you know, because of the rules.
Like, I have a big heart. You know, I get it from my mom. And, you know, I just always said that I was once those kids. You know, I know what it's like to be in their shoes. I know what it's like to walk those halls at Miami Northwestern.
and to have your stomach growling and rumbling at 12 o'clock in the afternoon because you didn't have any lunch money, or you don't get the free lunch.
So, um, I can't change who I am. You know, I'll still give to those kids just because, man, I know what it's like. Yeah, well, as he should. Like sometimes I think it is perfectly okay. to break the rules.
Because rules, in a lot of cases, sometimes they can be behind, and sometimes rules don't have logic.
Sometimes just do what you need to do and and ask for forgiveness later. See, human beings supersede rules, taking care of people, okay? This is what Teddy Bridgewater had to say about being back in the NFL. I've been working down in South Florida. I was working with the high school kids before I got suspended and everything.
But we were getting up at 6 a.m. and we were on the track running the bridge, running the stairs, pushing sleds, and it was a real grind.
So I was active. I wasn't just sitting around eating donuts and ice cream. But um So I'm I I feel great. You know um I'm just excited, man. I'm excited to work.
I'm excited to be here. Yeah, what's wrong with doughnuts? I guess if you're being an NFL player, donuts and ice cream don't work. Botchad and that fat guy on he's on the Buccaneers, right? He's out there.
Oh, the guy from Florida? Yeah, he's like four hundred and Yeah. Million pounds or something like that? I don't think they still will let him practice yet until he loses more weight.
So he's just kind of there. He's just going to be a. He's going to be on a practice squad all year, huh? Yeah, until he, I guess, becomes a tank and then becomes the next. Tush Push Stopper.
The gentleman's name is Desmond Watson. Heaviest player in NFL history. He was he he is or he was listed. At four hundred and sixty four pounds. He's apparently lost some weight, but the Buccaneers want him So lose more.
Okay. Wow. Yeah. We're not going to see him this year, are we? They're not going to play him.
What, one play at the end of the year if he's just. 'Cause they don't want him run he can't he can't run after anybody. He just has to be there at the goal line, right?
Well, the scariest thing is, I think he did move a lot. Like, when he played in college, he was mobile, but not. consistently.
So if you get him out there in a couple I don't know. A few snaps a game. He might be able to do something, but they're not going to play him. There's no way they can play him. And he's 6'6 as well.
You mean to tell me that that they're not gonna play him at all? I don't think so. Goal line situation, end of a game, you can't just stand him there? You could, but he don't got to run. I mean, if you put him at the goal line, he don't got to chase after anybody.
He doesn't have to chase anyone, but even still, like. I feel like if he loses a little bit more weight, there's more balance and stuff like that. There's got to be. There's gotta be some type of in like improvement instead of just standing there. He is six foot six.
He doesn't have to do anything but stand there and push people. What is he going to do? I don't know. Lever like is leverage a a key in this situation? Oh.
Leverage. He's like six feet onto the ball. Who was moving? He doesn't need to do anything but be in the way. No, it's Saquon him versus Saquon Barkley who's winning.
Uh, Saquon 'cause they'll just go around him. But no, no, no, no, no, no, no. He can't move Sa Saquon's not moving him.
Okay. That's the one, like, Derek Saquil and Barkley is very, very strong. He might be able to move them. If he doesn't get a hand on him, I think Saquon can beat him. He dies 6'6, 464 pounds.
Okay. I mean, sign me up for him. I think Derrick Henry could potentially move him, maybe one step. I don't know. And Marco Belletti, what do you think about this guy?
He's 6'6 ⁇ , 464 pounds. They won't let him play. Uh yeah, it's kinda hard to waste a roster spot on a guy that can't move. Goal line, goal line, goal line. You're right in the goal line.
How many plays are going to be in the goal line and can you be part of my... You know, whatever 46 that they dress, if your only responsibility is first to go at the goal line. Because you can't do anything else because there's nothing else in the game that you can move around and be fast enough. It's just not possible. He's 6'60.
You lift it.
Well, he's probably got short arms for a 6'6 guy, right? Look, I mean, there could be like an. If you're telling me in a run stoppage situation, just on first down in general, and he can, the only thing I'm concerned with, and I'm serious, can he get on and off the fields in time? Because you only got 40 seconds. And how much can he truly like?
You don't want them to even make tackles. I just want you to hold down two guys here so somebody else can do it. But how many plays can you actually run? Because I don't know what kind of shape he's in.
Now, you could be 460 and be in decent shape, but you could be 460 and barely move. He gotta be the slowest guy in the entire league, right? Has to be. Probably, but even in that, like, I can live with you being slow. But can you actually go out there and not huff and puff and actually do what you're supposed to do?
You know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, like, I'm thinking about it. I know it's a long time ago, but, like, you know. Bam Bam Bigelow, when he showed up, and it was like, oh my God, look at this big, giant fat guy, but he's athletic as hell.
Like, you could be big and fat. Chris Farley was athletic. He was fat. There's a lot of guys that are fat and athletic, and there's a lot of guys that just are fat. And I don't know where he is on that line.
We don't know.
Well, they drafted him so they believe in him enough. Yeah. We gotta wait a whole year? Come on, man. Yeah, I don't know.
Again, if they could just get his. To me, it's not even the weight. It's just the endurance. Can he get on and off the field? And can he play.
I don't know, 16, 17 snaps to justify. Taking that roster spot. We got to see him play next to, I want to see him play next to Vita Veya. It's the big guys out there, okay? And you know what?
You would take up the entire offensive line, and somebody else should be able to make the tackle. That's the point, right? Uh-oh, oh, yeah. You just need him to occupy space. You don't need him to tackle anybody.
Right. I'm not asking you to chase anybody down. I'm not even asking you to touch anyone. I want you to see these two giant humans that are in front of you. I want you to take both of them and push them backwards so that someone else could come and make the tackle.
I'm asking you to take up space. This is what you've done your whole life at 460-something pounds. You take up space. I need you to do that at the line of scrimmage. How old is he?
He can't be older than what, 22, 23 years old? I would imagine if he's just out of college, I would hope he ain't twenty eight.
Well, you never know, but I hope not. And it's it's time for him to lose weight. Just whatever Zion Williamson is doing, do the opposite of that, okay? Just. But not too much weight though, 'cause then, you know What's the point?
He's 6'6. He's gonna be big anyway. Yeah, but I need you to be really big. What do you think they think they want him sub for 100 pounds? I don't know.
I don't know because I don't know what kind of. If he could look. If he can move around, like you know, again, now you say refrigerator, and the guy was like probably like 310. He's probably smaller than anything. And he was short.
He was, but at the time, he was an enormous human being, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What did they ask him to do? Same thing that he was athletic as hell, but you didn't have to make it up. Yeah, you didn't have to make tackles.
Plug that up. Wilbert Marshall cleaned that up. Go just plug the middle. That's what I think you need to ask him to do. But I don't know.
Can he do that at 380 if he feels like he's weak? I think we've graduated. I don't know, graduated is a word. We've moved into an era of the NFL. Where we no longer have the fat ass nose tackle in the middle.
Who just swallows guys? Like, where's the. Where's Chris Jenkins? We don't have that guy anymore. Like everybody is ripped to shreds and everybody's an Adonis and Like that.
No, I miss having the interior fat lineman that would just. You know, every now and where's Tony Suragusa at? Like, what are we doing? I need this. I need that in my life.
Where are these guys at? You know, the name escapes me. Who's the last guy with the Patriots who was part of their dynasty run? Wolfwork? Wolf.
Vince Wolf. There you go. That's the guy you need. And we haven't had that in a while. You're right.
Because Aaron Donald is an Adonis. That's the guy. Right. But that's where we went to. Because guys could actually plug up the hole and make the tackle and do everything else and then get a sandwich on side of it because they're just enormous monsters.
Tony Saragusa was listed at 6'3. At three thirty. This guy on the Bucks, Desmond, is 6'6, 100 pounds more than him.
Well, you also said listed. I don't think Zara Kuz was 330. But that's all right. That's all right. That's all right.
We know he's big. Vince Wilfork was 6'2. 325. I'm sure he was bigger than that. Right.
Yeah, but and again, that's damn.
So if that's he's listed at four something, maybe he's actually like over five. Maybe now we're not fine. No, no, he's not that. Listen, I could.

To get to 3,000 hits, he was playing for the Marlins at the time. They beat the Colorado Rockies 10-7. Ichiro Suzuki, recently inducted into the Major League Baseball. Hall of Fame, Cooperstown. Listen to the 3,000 hit for Ichiro.

August 7th. 2016, this is unique, not a 3,000 hit, but Manny Machado, who I think is building himself a Hall of Fame resume. He became the second player in major league history. to hit a home run in the first. The second and the third innings.

Yeah, so he was there. Yeah, he was there as like a guest, you know, well. Why not? Blaced them up. No, I don't play.
Wait until Derek Jeta plays for the Savannah Bananas. It's coming. He's the least likely person to do that. I think Aerod would do it. Yeah, A-Rod.
Well, no, he wouldn't. A-Rod would be like, I'm too good for this crap. A-Rod would look for a piece of it. He'd be like, How much money to buy? buy part of the uh the company.
You know what? The guy hasn't sold. He doesn't come across.

Well, let me not say everybody sells. Do you think at some point in time the guy gets an offer that he can't refuse he sells the Savannah bananas to a media company? Yes.
I think it's going to be ESPN. 'Cause they're buying everything. They're they're already like kind of part of ESPN. But they're also part of I guess Turner too. How crazy ESPN has got its hands on The WWE They just acquired the NFL network's properties, including Red Zone.
And now they're just going to be like, hey, let's just get the Savannah bananas. But we talked about this with Marco. Why would anybody want to watch this? It's actually hooking in the younger generation and the older generation that wants to just watch fun baseball. Wait until we got crap plates on baseball and Major League Baseball's like, you mean to tell me we got competition here?
