They're not here. I'm talking about gun violence. You know, there's never been a lot of people in a school that allows teachers to carry. Carry guns? More guns lead to more death.
More guns lead to more death. Look at the data. You're not looking at any data. You're carrying the water from the blood lobby. Look at the data.
More guns lead to more death. States that have open carry laws have more death. States that have open carry laws have more death. Are you listening to what I'm saying? What cause their children are dying?
Not your own children. Because the solution is not the teacher. Have you ever worked in the school? Have you ever worked in the school? Have you ever worked in the school?
Have you ever worked in the school? This is just a question. Have you ever worked in the school? You will not answer my question. Don't stop and talk.
Okay. He's not interested. He's not interested. This is Thomas Massey confronting Representative Jamal Bowman, who is an absolute embarrassing ass clown and one of the most embarrassing things to ever happen in Washington, D.C. This man is an uneducated moron.
I brought the receipts because he's apparently too stupid and his staff is apparently too stupid to actually look and and look online at this publicly available information. Welcome to the program. Dana Lash here with you. You can listen coast to coast. across the country, And uh you can also watch the simulcast either on YouTube or Facebook or Channel 347.
I keep wanting to say 247 for some reason. I don't know who the hell that is on DirecTV. It's not. Not us.
So welcome back. Yes. Damn, put it on.
So this uh Whole thing. With Thomas Massey and Jamal Bowman. This was in the halls of Congress. In the halls of Congress. Jamal Bowman is the guy who's been out there screeching about this and that.
These people are not. Yes, it makes me mad, and you're damn right, I'm not going to sit here and police my speech over it. I mean, the fact that the proof that I'm not getting any more hardcore with it is the fact that is a proof God exists. Because I cannot stand attention-seeking clowns like Jamal Bowman. What an embarrassment this man An absolute embarrassment.
I mean this. was taking place They're you know, obviously, you know, Congress in session, they're Looking at a number of different pieces of legislation, and he gets out there. And he's been saying the same thing. You can tell the talking points went out. He's been saying the same thing.
That Karine Jean-Pierre has said. He's been saying the same thing that all of these other Democrat officials have said. And This guy, I mean, how long has he been? I was looking at how long has he been? He got in.
He got into office in 21. Right. January 3rd, 2021. He apparently doesn't know the history of Congress. He gets out there and says, Oh, well.
You know, this is all this is r this is Republicans' fault. Gets out there and screams and hollers and yells. This is all Republicans' fault, etcetera. I mentioned this yesterday, but it bears mentioning again. Democrats, ladies and gentlemen, Did not do a damn thing when they held both the House and the Senate.
Plus the White House. Before midterms. Democrats didn't do a thing. When they had a supermajority for the first part of Obama Biden's first term. Democrats Don't do anything because Democrats don't want to do anything.
Just they've never, when have Democrats ever, ever come through on promises for their base? What'd they tell everybody? This swindled a whole bunch of people. Oh, we're going to get your student loans paid off. Remember that?
What happened? Oh no, can't do it. They knew they couldn't do it. They knew that there was going to be litigation. They knew that a court was going to stop it.
They knew this was going to happen. And they still lied to everybody anyway. People were stupid enough to believe them. We're gonna stop your your leases and your your or your rents and your mortgages.
Well, rents, really. Renters' rights, we're going to stop your rent payments. We're going to put a moratorium on that through the CDC abusing the emergency authorization. That's what we're going to do. Everyone's like, oh, that's so great.
And then what happens? Democrats knew. That it wasn't going to stay. Democrats knew that they didn't have the authority to do it.
So, what happened? Oh, then there comes the. Comes the court. That can't happen. The C D C can't just run past.
Congress. It can't happen. Can't happen.
So you have this this guy get gets out here, this clown. In the middle That that's not the place for that. You know, the floor is the place for debate. The floor is the place for debate. I don't want to see congressmen.
You know, I don't want to see another duel in the halls of Congress. I mean, that wasn't since still before the Civil War, but I don't want to see Congressmen. fighting in the halls of Congress. I want to see him fight on the floor. There's a reason why we maintain some sort of semblance of decorum and civility, and why we have a tradition in doing so.
Because it's one of the things that keeps it all together. Especially When you run afoul of those long standing courteous traditions, the civility. to act like a clown and just say a bunch of stuff that isn't actually true.
So this is one of the things. That is pointing out in that This Whatever he's talking about, the data, whatever he's talking about. None of that's true. There have been studies that have come out, Crime Prevention Research Center. actually has a study.
They went and looked at everything. They were showing that when they do when schools that do have SROs, Schools that have SROs, in fact, they haven't had any shootings at all whatsoever. on any of their campuses since the implementation of those programs. I mean this is just simple fact. No one wants to acknowledge this, though.
I've linked this before. No one wants to acknowledge it though. Simple fact. And so the study that people like to cite And they like to go on and on and on and say, Oh no, it's it shows actually it was re sometimes Reason Magazine comes in clutch and sometimes they don't do anybody any good. They they posted this study.
And it only looked at a few, like a handful of California schools. Oh, well this is what happens. California schools. And they didn't like Some of the policing and they thought that the SROs were acting like disciplinarians. And so there was a lot of consternation, and then there was a lot of complaints.
But it was only California schools that they looked at, which seems like a pretty stupid way to conduct something, particularly if you're going to make it into a survey that you apply nationally. And you have to remember that the handful of schools that they looked at were in areas where You have public school systems that are in Democrat-controlled cities, and you have Democrat-controlled city councils and Democrat mayors who pick the Democrat police chief, and they set the Democrat standards and trainings and practices for the police. What the hell do you think you're gonna get with something like that? And those are the schools that you want to use and cobble together to make your little survey to try to undercut the efficacy of SROs in schools? Sit down.
I looked at that study because apparently no one else did. They just do this kind of stuff so they can have a talking point. Say, well, look what this study says. But they don't bother to tell you that it's in High crime, California areas. That are entirely Democrat-controlled, and the police chief, et cetera, set the training standards and the SOP.
They said all of it. That includes the SROs, which are typically from those police departments. What did you expect? And that's what you're going to use? Democrats using themselves to try to undercut programs that they can't run.
That's what he's citing on the floor. Or in the halls of Congress. Thomas Massey was very nice, came up to him, said, No, no, no. That is incorrect, Jamal. Bowman didn't want to hear any of that.
He didn't want to hear any of it. He didn't want to hear anything that challenged his narrative. Ridiculous. Absolute clown. The only thing he was ever on point on was being against standardized testing.
That's pretty much it.
Now, there's a few things that have absolutely nothing to do with one another. That we got to get into, including this thing that just held, that just actually came up a little bit earlier today. Russia has arrested a Wall Street Journal reporter. And they've accused him of espionage. They said that he was spying.
The Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich is part of the Moscow Bureau.
Now, he denies. the espionage allegations against him. He says that he was not there spying. That's not what he was doing. And I'm not quite sure what they consider to be espionage.
I mean, apparently he was reporting. And it's kind of weird that they would, you know, take offense to, you know, reporters doing their jobs. I mean, you're talking about the government that employs the Wagner Group. Right? Although apparently they could even properly arm them.
So I'm not quite sure what They consider that to be. But it's their FSB, it's their Federal Security Service.
Now, the FSB is what. This is basically uh what they had their previous uh KGB turn into.
So the you had the KGB and now it's the F S B.
So the FSB was the one that detained him. He's a U. S. citizen reporting for Wall Street Journal. He works with the Moscow Bureau.
They detained him in the eastern city of Yekaterinburg. I know I didn't say that right and I don't care. They said in a statement that Gershkovich was acting on instructions of the American side, collected information constituting a state secret about the activities of one of the enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex. That was their statement.
Now, the Wall Street Journal issued a statement in response saying that they vehemently deny. The allegations from FSB and they seek the immediate release of their trusted and dedicated reporter, Evan Gershkovich. They said they stand in solidarity with him and his family. The FSB accused him of carrying out illegal activities. They said they stopped it.
And so they've opened a case against him.
So the thing though So there's the question of, I mean, he was doing his job. He was. You know, looking at because the Guardian has, let me pull this up. The Guardian has a story about where he was arrested because the town in which he was arrested was like a thousand miles away from Moscow.
So It was a it's a pretty long way away from Moscow. And he was, I mean, he's been doing his job. He's been filing story after story after story. I mean, I went and I was looking at, you know, everything under his byline. I mean, he's been there doing the job.
I don't get the sense that this dude's a spy. Anybody, any, but at the same time, you had to know that something like this, I was anticipating some sort of U.S. reporter to be arrested at some point because they would say, oh, well, they're spying when they're actually doing their job of reporting.
So The I don't know what, I mean, you know, apparently, obviously, the White House is aware of it, have no idea what they're going to do in response to it. But it brings to mind that Brittany Greiner situation because Greiner. There was a griner, broke. I mean, she knew what the laws were, regardless of whether or not you agreed with the laws in Russia. You know that they are a geopolitical opponent.
You know that they're commies and that they don't look kindly upon anything that doesn't, you know, rah, rah, kremlin.
So why would you break the law and go over there? and run and and know that you're breaking the law, which is why you're trying to hide it. This guy was simply doing his job, so there's a huge difference between the two of them. But I'm just wondering how quickly the White House is going to respond to this or what they're going to do with this. Considering You know, the The, uh, I mean, he wasn't doing, he wasn't breaking the law.
He was innocent, he wasn't doing anything. If you're a bacon lover, today is your day.

It's time for Dana's Quick Five. This should be a national holiday. It's opening day. I should sound actually way more joyful than that, but allergies make my voice sound really actually hardcore and kind of low, so I wanna keep it. But no, it's opening day.
We're very excited. Yay! Actually, I love it. It's opening day, baseball first game. What is it?
The Nationals? Braves, okay.
Well, there's another one too. I can't remember. Anyway, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't care about those two people. But I've I'll watch the Braves.
Sorry, I have hatred for both the other teams. Anyway, so that's huge news. That's very good. Also, this is. Pulling this up.
Bear with me here, sorry. This residents evacuated, 22-car. Train derailment, sorry, 40-car train derailment containing ethanol. We're going to have the latest on that. There's Minnesota and then something out in North Dakota.
Put Buttigieg says he's watching the situation closely. He's watching it. I don't know why people are like this. There's a dangerous new TikTok trend that's having people apply peppermint chapstick to the inside of their eyelids to get high. Knock it off.
Or I mean, I don't wanna encourage people to do it to clean out the gene pool, but. Man, stop this. Stay with us. As colleges and universities across the country hold their graduations, I'd like to highlight a place where students receive the best classical liberal arts education in America. And when these students graduate, they've studied the great books, the history of Western civilization and of America, and the meaning and history of the Constitution.
Can you guess who I'm talking about? I'm talking about Hillsdale College. Hillsdale was founded in 1844 to offer the kind of education needed to preserve civil and religious liberty and holds true to that mission while refusing to accept one penny of taxpayer funding, not even indirectly, in the form of student grants and loans. Hillsdale students also abide by an honor code, which ensures a unity of purpose and fosters lively civil and intelligent debate. See for yourself and learn from Hillsdale for free through their influential speech digest in Primus and by taking online courses on American history, the Constitution, and other subjects.

Eastern Time. Keep an eye on the breaking news coming out of Minnesota. As you know, visiting the site from Ohio, right, was a subject of consternation. Do you plan to visit Minnesota? Right now, I am not going to get in the way of investigators or local officials.
Oh. Oh, okay. Uh Well there you go.
So that's Secretary Mayor Put Butijej. Because there's been a couple of things that have happened. You've had a train derailment, well, a couple train derailments. You've had the Minnesota train derailment. I said it looks like a war zone.
40-car train containing ethanol piled up on the tracks. Firefighters were racing to extinguish the blaze and evacuate 800 people. They were evacuating the whole town. They were telling everybody: get out, just get out. And then They There was another derailment hours earlier in North Dakota.
Now First off, welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We're at the bottom of this first hour. It's not that there are more derailments because there have been. I mean, actually, I mean, I'm not defending Buddha Judge, but I'm putting it in a little bit of perspective.
And then I'm going to add a little bit more to this. They There's always been this amount there have always been this amount of train derailments. There have been discussions about whether or not certain regulations would have helped or hurt. But the reason that it's getting more attention is because, at least, the one that was with in Pennsylvania.
Now that one, you know, that you could say that there was actually maybe perhaps a regulation, pardon me, that. could have come into play. But at the same time, it had to do with a brake. It didn't have to do with a wheel or an axle. It was a.
Or it was a broken axle, it didn't have to do with the brake or the wheel issue.
So that was different because there are different regulations for those. Long story short, One of the the uh people are paying more attention to these because it's part of the overall kind of breakdown of transportation across the country along with the supply chain issue. Which really ultimately got people really fixated on this whole issue of how we ship things, how we're getting goods elsewhere. And so You have Buddhajej who hasn't helped, and it hasn't helped that all of these headlines have come out. Showing that right when this guy got into the job, he immediately left for what three months.
Yeah, for real. Uh p uh paternity leave. He's been ineffective. The other thing that. hobbled.
a lot of the supply chain Any kind of way to course correct is he wasn't even talking to anyone. Uh they I mean, they have receipts. They have, you know, refused Uh, meetings. He, oh no, he's on paternity leave. This is very important, paternity leave.
So they weren't, I mean, and other Democrats weren't even able to get a hold of him. Honestly, I think that's how this all got. I mean, I know Chuck Grassley began voicing concerns after he couldn't get any kind of information from him, but other Democrats were leaking this stuff to the press because I think they were mad at him.
So I just And as Kane noted, yeah, they actually took a picture of themselves holding their twins in a hospital bed. Like, one of them gave birth. It was weird. I remember that photo. I looked at it and was like, the hell?
What is this? Like, you didn't, you know. Gives a whole new meaning in dropping the kids off of the pool. Like, come on. Oh, I did say it, and I'm not going to apologize.
Do you know why? Because there's a lot of cedar in the air in Texas today. And that's my defense. Come to Dallas and fight me. I don't even care.
So I just I mean this I don't know if you've seen the photos of this in Minnesota Yeah. It's bad. It's the city of Raymond. They evacuated the whole area. And They're trying to, they said they had crews from all these neighboring communities have been trying to contain this fire.
Ooh, ooh It affected forty cars, twenty two derailed.
So they're letting the ethanol burn out. I mean, it's just it this is one of the reasons why people wanted pipelines because of derailments And all the environmentalists were saying, no, that's worse for the economy, or worse for the environment. And it actually wasn't, so they nixed that for what? More rail. I it just it's the goofiest thing.
So I have Let me get into it, because we have this issue. You had the issue of the runaway barges yesterday. We also have this really this is the other story that I wanted to touch on because this was early this morning this came out. Nine service members killed after an Army Blackhawk helicopter crashed in Kentucky, too, in fact, on Wednesday evening. They were from Fort Campbell.
The Army installation right there on the Kentucky Tennessee border. They crashed in Trigg County, Kentucky. They said the crash took place about ten p.m. last night. It involved two hundred and first Airborne Division air assault helicopters on a routine training mission.
And Two Blackhawks. The Brigadier General and Deputy Commander of the 101st said that there were five people in one helicopter, four in the other. It was a fairly typical arrangement. The aircraft were practicing a multi-ship formation using night vision goggles. They said that the helicopters were practicing medical evacuation drills, but they said the crash appears to have occurred while they were flying, not doing those exercises.
And they have not released the identities yet of the service members, obviously, because they're still notifying family. They had an aircraft safety team that was dispatched to investigate. They're looking at everything that potentially went, what happened? How did this happen? And I'm sure that that's going to be discussed publicly at some point.
But they said they're still investigating everything. They were containing the area, notifying family, but just awful, just awful. And we're praying for those families. But they had a press conference giving some of that latest information just this morning.
Now, we also came into the program. Notifying you that there was a journalist that had been, an American journalist, that had been arrested. By uh Uh the F S B, which is the new version of the KGB. And it was a Wall Street Journal reporter who was arrested accused of spying, Now, the question is going to be whether or not that's considered an escalation or not. And it is uh looking up the some of this information.
I mean, it's It's just it's odd that Because this I mean it's very Soviet-esque. Right. I mean Vladimir Putin was KGB.
Now you have F S B. Which is the new KGB. We'll just we'll change the letters.
Well, no one will know. We'll change the letters. It's not KGB anymore, it is FSB. And they'll think that, yeah, we don't.
So, you have the. It's true, it's exactly what they did.
So. This, I mean, there are more. I was reading a piece about the number of political prisoners now in Russia outnumbers. the number of political prisoners that were in Russia before The Soviet Union fell. And this is the first time that I think an American has been detained since the the start of the Cold War.
Uh I Because there's another American, by the way. Let me pull this up. This is from the Associated Press. This isn't the only American that's been detained. They're previously.
Uh Nicholas Daniloff, He was taken hostage in 1986. And that's the one. He was a correspondent with U.S. News and World Report.
So I'm not, um I mean, how is it? Are they going to? The question is going to be: are they going to do a trade-off? How are they going to do a kind of a prisoner trade? I mean, seriously.
You traded that arms dealer for Brittany Griner. The WNBA player. Who knew that she was breaking the law by, and I don't care what you think of Russia's law, it's Russia. Do you think they care what you think of their law? If you're gonna go over to a place where they will arrest you for any offense just because you're an American, maybe you don't give, you know, if you have to go over there.
You know, maybe. Don't Yeah.
So I don't I don't know. I I mean this is it's Whether or not they do any kind of Um Any kind of trade, I I don't know. I don't know. But the there they this guy's held in custody. He was a thousand miles from Moscow.
He was reporting. He's been reporting. You can go and see his bylines over at Wall Street Journal.
So this uh Guardian has more on this as well. They took him, he was following a story, he was on the eastern side of the Ural Mountains. But they haven't divulged the Wall Street Journal nor The Guardian. The Guardian piece didn't really get into exactly what he was covering, but he was running some s sort of story down. And I mean, I don't I uh I not I don't know I don't know how they're gonna how do you They that was like the number one guy that Russia wanted to trade for, Victor Bout.
So, who else did they got any other big Russians that they can fl you know? I mean, what else they got? I don't know. I think that um They I I don't think they should trade anybody else. If you're at honestly If you were gonna trade someone, I would have traded for the reporter over Brittany Griner, but If you were gonna trade for someone.
I think he needs to throw down conditions and that's it. Because They will make it to where every single person Who is Western? they will come up with some sort of crime to detain them. In fact, to the point the State Department has issued a new a new travel warning. They said that U.
S. citizens residing in or traveling in Russia should depart immediately. That's a new That's a new travel advisory for from the State Department. I don't uh think that Uh I I I I just don't think that I think he'll he'll probably trade somebody. I dunno.
What do you think, Kane? It's Spiden. Actually, Biden's not going to be making these decisions. It's going to be the weak people around him. They really sold Democrats just a false bill of sale.
I mean, did they not telling every oh, well the reason Joe Biden's on the ticket with Barack Obama is he's so good at at foreign policy. I mean, he's just so good. Because Barack Obama, barely a freshman senator coming out of Illinois, He defeated seven of nine's husband. Jimmer. Oh man, that story is a soap opera.
But he didn't have any foreign policy experience at all whatsoever. Joe Biden was supposed to offset that.
So Just Just wondering.
So, we're going to follow that as we get more developments on it as well. Controversial group behind the Trans Day of Vengeance. More information coming out about Nashville. Apparently, the terrorists, the trans terrorists, the militant trans terrorists there. had been seeking We were told that she was under a doctor's care for mental health issues and apparently was seeking or getting counseling from the pastor.
So According to the latest developments, the terrorist walked into the church looking for the pastor. and then went to the school. She was going down, and I've had some people say, Why are you calling her a she? Stop doing that. Why are you weak?
I don't want to be rude with anyone, but I'm going to say this once and once, one time only. I understand that there was a lot of confusion initially in the press conference because the reporters were moronic and they were so focused on the gender and they didn't want anyone dead named or whatever, dead gendered, misgendered, or however the hell they say it. It was a chick pretending to be a dude. Stop. To the point, she was seeking counseling.
from the pastor. And Apparently, according to What has been revealed thus far by law enforcement, who, by the way, did say last night that they are going to release the manifesto once the investigation is concluded? Yeah, I knew they were going to. They are going to release it.
So the Information they revealed was that she had been seeking counseling from the pastor but had disagreed. with him in some one of I guess the last sessions that they had. and so she was roaming the halls looking for him. That's who she was hunting. She was looking for him.
And then when she saw his daughter, It's horrific.
So she absolutely I mean it was absolutely targeted.
So we're gonna We're gonna discuss some of this because there have been I don't like the word hate crime, the phrase hate crime. Because all crimes are hate. Every now and then I do like deploying it as a way to use the left's language against them. But I think some on the right are actually starting to really take it seriously. Like, wait, wait, wait, hold up.
We were just using that against them as, you know, as a way to show their hypocrisy. Wait, what?
Now you're buying into it? Wait, what?
Because people are saying it's a hate crime. It should be investigated as a hate crime against Christians. Yes, they hate Christians, but there's no crime spurned that comes of love. It comes from that hate is involved in everything. We got to be really careful with this because I don't, I think all crime is.
Is hate. And the reason, again, that I caution against that phrase is because I don't think that anyone should be promoted above anyone else before. The law. That is unconstitutional. Justice is blind, supposedly, and when people advocate for things like hate crimes.
You're advocating for a different set of rules, which means justice isn't blind. You want to weight the scales, and that's not how it's done.
So I'm just, I understand it, you know, I get it. But I think some folks kind of went, you know what, I now believe this. They just went all into it. We'll talk more about this and also how that Trans Day Vengeance group. They're raising money for firearms training.
And they their uh online showing uh apparently the face though the the chick who's like the face of it Is online showing loading and all kinds of stuff. And it was her. I don't know if it's actually a dude or a chick. The video is actually kind of blurry. She looks like Napoleon Dynamite.
It's a Napoleon Dynamite-looking person sitting here loading and reloading a gun. I'm just saying. Oh my gosh.
So, Kane, did you see this episode last night of the days of these United States? Did you see it? I did. You did. I mean, for those of you who missed it, it was the president, right?
So in this episode, it was the president who was giving a speech, and he was trying to, it was just kind of awkward. I mean, he was just trying to, I guess, pander to the Greek community. But listen to this. This is Audio Soundbite 21. This is this episode of These Days of Our United States.
The nickname I got early on when I won by 3,200 votes for the Senate seat when I was 29 years old is because started to call me Joe Bidenopoulos because, oh, you think I'm kidding. I'm not joking, am I? I'm not joking because of the overwhelming support from the Greek American community. Did Joe Bidenopoulos work with Stefano? Compon buds.
There it is. He talks like somebody who Had a sixer in the garage and comes in when you're just like watching something with the fam. I was like, hey, you know what? I had an uncle that was like that. Totally tober.
We got a second hour on the way. And uh the latest. Let's go, Brandon. Working real well in Russia now that they're saying, Americans, you need to leave. Stick with us.
In the last presidential campaign, one of the Democratic contenders said that what he would do is come for AR-15s. Does the President support not just banning the sale and manufacture of semi-automatic weapons, but further than that confiscation? Let me just be very clear. What we're talking about, AR-15s, these assault weapons ban, they are weapons of war and they should not be on the streets. Across the country, in our communities, they should not be in schools, they should not be in grocery stores, they should not be in churches.
That's what the president believes. They're not weapons of war, by the way. And anyone who says that has never actually seen, like, it's not a weapon of war. They've never even seen an AR-15. Welcome back to the program.
Your lovable curmudgeon Dana Lash here. Listen coast to coast. Watch the simulcast. Of the nationally syndicated radio show, YouTube, Facebook, the discussions that go on the they have a YouTube chat that happens, and then also you can watch Channel 347 on DirecTV. They're not weapons of war.
It is absolutely not a weapon of war. It is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. People who sit here and it I mean, it's just in some in places, I mean, it's b You don't even use them to shoot deer. Because Just not Brown's not big enough. I'm not going to get into a ballistics debate with people who don't know the difference between semi-automatic, full auto, and select fire.
And that's ultimately, I mean, that's what this is. The whole history of it, and we've talked about this. But I'm going to say it every time they bring it up, I'm going to do it. To sit here and say that the AR-15 is a weapon of war is absolute ignorance. And people who say this should be immediately disqualified from the discussion.
It's a civilian rifle. The military modified it, mot took it and modified it to make it Select Fire and Full Auto. Totally different. I mean, this is It wasn't even the first semi-auto that they c I mean, it just is so just is so ridiculous. They It was used by the military as the platform for them to create the M16.
It's not the M16 though. No, no I mean, I shouldn't even have to ex it shouldn't even have to be explained why, but it's not. And it's one of the most commonly owned firearms that's out there. But this is what they're going to push. And I will say.
That it I want Democrats to push this. I want Democrats to push this because it always goes horrifically bad for Democrats. It's always bad for Democrats. It's bad for Democrats like it was bad after they passed the Brady Bill in the 90s. Then what happened?
You had Newt Gingrich that took over, and you had the new conservative revolution, so to speak. And especially at a time now when you have soaring crime rates and Democrats trying to hide their defund the police narratives and people suffering from an increase in crime as a result of those narratives being put into practice. It is not something you're going to be able to convince people of to part with their Tools of self-defense during a time when they really, I mean, people saw what happened in. you know, Uvalde, and they saw what happened in Parkland. People don't I mean in Uvalde, they stopped firearm owning parents from, you know, crossing in and going and saving their kids.
They stopped a a police officer who was there with the responding unit from taking his gun and going and saving his wife that the killer w had murdered. I mean this You're not going to convince people of this. It will not go well for them. And it's never gone well for them. And it's never pulled well either.
It's never been. I've never seen any data from any election to where that's ever been. in any way a top five concern even. Do you know mid uh the midterm elections it was Like at the b it was I don't even think it was in the I think maybe it was like seventeen or eighteen. of concerns that people had.
And that was Uh a Gallup quinipiac. And several others, the averages. And it it's just not, people don't support it. Democrat, Democrats don't support it. Democrat voters don't support it even.
The only people who do are far left people who've never ever seen a gun. Those are the only people that support this kind of stuff.
So this is if this is what th th th it's not gonna go over well. They're gonna end up demonizing people. And it's just It's not going to work for them. I wanted to play this. Uh This was Audio, let's see, which one is this?
This is a cu oh okay.
So this is audio sambite 6.
So this was Senator Kennedy from Louisiana. To DHS. Aleandra Majorkis. When they were discussing What was or wasn't what he considers to be an assault weapon? He couldn't define it.
So Kennedy was drilling down on him more. Just trying to kind of measure what What Majorcas actually does know. Listen to this. You you said you want to oppose all assault weapons, but you don't know what they are. Can you give me an example?
Senator, I think I gave you an example yesterday, so I'm not exactly sure why you're putting it in the middle of the morning. Refresh my memory the example. I believe I said an AK-47. But what is it about an AK-47? That you find to be objectionable?
Is it the fact that it has a magazine? Senator Um Do you know what a magazine is? But first, do you know what a magazine is, Mr. Secretary? Yes, I do.
And Senator. Um Uh what I've I've come to d to uh to do is testify uh to this uh committee Um and not take An examination. With respect to questions that I've already answered to the best of my ability. And so I think it is self-evident. Why an AK-47 should be banned as just one example.
But I look forward to conferring with you. Except you can't explain what one is. Hmm.
So he couldn't explain what one was. All he knows is that that's that's the scary looking black gun, right? Is that what it is? I don't even know exactly what it is. When was AK forty seven's even first off, I'm going to state the obvious, just for the drive-bys.
Rifles used in the fewest amounts of gun homicides annually according to every inch of publicly available data, which is published every single year and is on this thing called the Internet.
So that's number one. Number two, AK 47s. An air I mean, there are No, no one does that. I think one of the reasons why is everyone thinks they're all full auto. I mean, you can just like with, you know, you have AR15, you have M16.
I mean, it's to say, it's a platform.
So meaning that some things function differently and that they their way that they're put together is different, to put it in layman's terms. But He can't even, he has no, that's embarrassing. Your Department of Homeland Security, which Mayoricus was the AG of California after Kamala Harris. Oh no, sorry, that was Becerra. But Majorkis, he is He's in his DHS.
And he Department of Homeland Security, he can't even define these things. I just think if that's if you're pushing to regulate something, then you should know exactly what it is that you're regulating. I love that that that line of questioning completely exposed his ignorance, though. I mean, it it it really did.
So a uh a couple of other things that I want to get into. The developments still coming out of the Nashville Uh trans terrorist attack. The killer Because remember, they were also considering two other public schools.
Well, we knew they were considering two other locations, but they said the security was too great. But according to The New York Post. They reported that the killer was also scoping out two other public schools. Two other public schools. But The reason she didn't also target those It's because they had too much security.
What was that that Jamal Bowman Bowman was saying to? Thomas Massey. Oh, well they you can't have You can't have SRs, you can't have more guns in schools. Is that what he was saying? Yeah, can we play this a little bit?
Because he was making a fool of himself yesterday in the halls of the Capitol. Absolute clown. They're freaking cowards. They're gunless. They're not here.
I'm talking about gun violence. You know, there's never been a lot of people in a school that allows teachers to carry. Carry guns? Because you're not going to be able to do it. More guns lead to more death.
Look at the data. You're not looking at any data. You're carrying the water from the gun lobby. Look at the data. More guns lead to more deaths.
States that have open carry laws have more death. States that have open carry laws have more deaths. Wow.
So are you listening to what I'm saying? What cause their children are dying? Nine-year-old children. Because the solution is that are the teachers have you ever worked in a school? Have you ever worked in a school?
So as I was telling you. First off, Crime Prevention Research actually did a legitimate Examination of this. The one that he wants to cite was a piece that, unfortunately, Reason covered. It wasn't the best. Wasn't the best survey.
I actually looked at this last night. The one that where they're, they what basically they had leftists that were trying to create this narrative of no SROs in schools. They only looked at a handful of California schools, and these were schools that were in Democrat-ran areas with Democrat city councils and Democrat-appointed police chiefs who ran and set the protocol for their police department, Democrat, Democrat, Democrats.
So, do you think that the Democrat programs that the Democrats could make work are going to work? No, that's what they're citing. It's like they set it up purposefully to fail within these particular communities so that they then could argue that SROs don't work. But in fact, that flies in the face of actual legitimate academic analysis, which is what Crime Prevention Research Center did at crime research.org. And what they discovered is that there's yet to be a single case of anyone being wounded or killed from a shooting between 6 a.m.
and midnight at a school that allows teachers, either teachers or has SROs, to carry firearms. And they looked at all of the data beginning from 2001 till current time. And then And couple that with a headline that I just shared with you from the New York Post, in which they had the people sharing messages from the killer. She was sending messages to her friends saying that she was looking at two other public schools, but she declined. And it came out apparently, and law enforcement was talking about it.
She declined to target those schools because they had too much security.
So there's your data, Jamal Bowman. He's standing there making a fool of himself. And everyone else is like, you're not even paying attention to the data. That's what these people do. He's just auditioning for MSNBC.
That's all that was. What an embarrassment. He's just just These people want to want to Present a show, they want to engage in some weird Victorian freak show theater. on the backs of the people they claim. to want to serve.
Now we have headlines on the way. Congressman Chip Roy is going to be joining us a little bit later on as well. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. So, BuzzFeed is quietly publishing entire AI-generated articles, and not just like the little quizzes and stuff they do.
It's like. I don't know, it's like an experiment of replacing all of the human writers.
So they announced plans to start publishing AI-assisted content, but apparently they've been publishing entirely. AI authored articles.
So, do you remember back when everyone was saying, oh, well, Journalists should learn to code and people were being kicked off social media for that.
Well, it looks apparently like the code learned to journalist.
So I don't know what they're, I guess that's it. There you go. Also, Disney, they're eliminating its Metaverse division as part of their company layoffs plans. I'm going to talk about what they try to do. What is that?
The rule of perpetuities, all that stuff came up yesterday, and everyone thinks that Disney had like this big thing over, you know, the Florida governor and the Republicans trying to stop them from bending over taxpayers. But. I don't think it's going to go how they planned. But Disney has had to eliminate its goofy metaverse division because they've been laying so many people off. I mean, they're having an absolute fit right now.
Disney's not doing well. I don't know if Bob Iger is going to be able to reverse it. I don't know if their new board's going to be. I don't know. But it's just not going over well at all.
Also, How about a couple of other things to hit? Denmark said that they discovered and identified a mysterious object found next to the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. It was a smoke buoy. found at the depth of 73 meters and they said that uh They retrieved it, it didn't look any longer suspicious, but they said it's an empty maritime smoke buoy, which was used for visual marking. It doesn't pose a safety risk.
So it wasn't proof of any kind of. You know, like, because I know Russia is accusing the United States. The United States is like, why are you crazy? The FDA is approving over-the-counter sales of Narcan, nasal spray, all of that amid the ongoing opioid crisis. Man, you know it's bad when they're pushing that over the counter.
So they want to reduce overdose deaths driven by illicit opioids, so now they have a Narcan nasal spray that's going to be available over the counter. Apparently, NASA is going to name the first lunar astronaut crew in 50 years, two Americans, one Canadian, to crew Artemis II. They're apparently going to announce it in about a week on April 3rd. NASA along with the Canadian Space Agency are going to together showcase their team that's going to go to the moon on Artemis II. It's supposed to launch no sooner than November of 2024.
They're going to loop around the moon during the first ever human lunar mission since the landing of the Apollo 17 in December of 1972.
So that's kind of very interesting. Additionally, let's see. I got a couple of other things here. Senator Fetterman. John Fetterman is apparently going to return.
to the Senate on April 17th. I don't know if that's this year. But that's what they say that he's apparently going to return on April 17th. Chip Roy joins us next. When you're stuck discussing politics with your friends, who's the most informed person in the group?
Yep, you are. You're welcome. Listen, follow, subscribe. The Dana Show. crisis responsible for 100,000 plus deaths per year in the U.S.
I think you need to use the wall and use the military to secure the border. Here again, it comes to a constitutional understanding. This is not with congressional permission. I as commander-in-chief of the United States intend to use our military to protect. our own border.
Well, that's there's more of that there. He actually went on and said he'd send tanks and jets and. Uh Bomb, but bomb them and all of that. That was our interview yesterday with Vivek Ramaswamy. And that's the part where I went, wa wait, wait, wait a minute, I sent bombs and Judson, tanks.
I mean, we all wanna go out to the cartels, but I also don't want to start World War III because, you know, I think I don't know. Who knows? You know, who does know is the congressman who I think just literally apparated in a corner after he ran off the floor. He's doing his job for the good people of Texas, Congressman Chip Roy from the Great Republic of Texas. Sir, first off, thank you so much for giving us some of your time today.
I love that you're probably in the cloakroom hiding. And so I really appreciate you running through. I wanted to, I've got a few really important things I wanted to ask, but I also wanted to just kind of, because you've talked about this before. The situation at the border, we heard, saw some of the hearings yesterday. You couldn't even get any myorcus to even say that it was a crisis at the border.
They won't, they're terrified to use that word. We all know that it is. When we go after, if we were to treat the cartels differently, if we were to classify them as terrorists, is it, I mean, how is that, how do we actually prosecute something like that? I mean, because when I heard Vivek yesterday saying, well, I'd send jets and I'd bomb them and tanks, I thought, uh, that might, let's ask you, because that seems like that might be much.
Well, Dana, great to be on as always. Yeah, I was just down on the floor talking about this issue, talking about border security. The first thing you need to do to secure the border is actually just fix the policies that are causing the magnet. And that's the main thing we need to do. We can do that.
We can do it quickly. I do believe we need to treat cartels as the dangerous entities and organizations that they are. I introduced a bill to designate them as foreign and terrorist organizations about three years ago. Maybe four. And I support that effort.
Look, we could designate them something slightly different. That raises concerns, but the point here is to treat them as the equivalent to ISIS or al-Qaeda that they are. They are terrorizing people in Mexico. They terrorize people in this country. They're putting little kids in the sex trafficking trade.
They cut people's heads off. They are arming themselves, making hundreds of billions of dollars, moving human beings for profit and fentanyl into our country, killing Americans.
So we should take them out.
Now, I think Vivek is being a little bit. Hyperbolic and kind of blustering a bit on the campaign trail. And I have great respect for him on a number of different things. But look, on this, I'm fine if we want to consider authorizing the use of military force in a strategic way, coupled with designating those terrorist organizations to go take them out. But it should be more surgical.
And we should make sure that we are working hand in hand with the Mexican government to say, guys, We're going to end this right now. We're going to export the rule of law. You guys are going to get crap together down here in Mexico. We're not going to have a narco-terror state right off our border. We're going to have a clear delineation between us and you, but you know, we're going to be working with you.
To restore the rule of law here. I think we should do that. I think we should pretty much tell Mexico that we're going to do that. But I think we should work with them to accomplish the goal. And that takes a little bit more surgical precision than just bluster.
Yeah. And with some, especially with the headlines coming, I was looking at one where they had 40 illegal aliens in Mexico. They were coming from Central and South America coming through, entering into Mexico on their way to the United States, burned to death in a detention facility because they realized they were going to get deported. And apparently, I mean, from everything that's out there, these detention facilities are entirely overrun. Mexico's government's saying that's it's the fault of the United States, which immediately you want to say, but it's yours.
But then you realize, well, it's the policies of Joe Biden. Yeah, it kind of is. It's a giant beacon that's bringing them here through Mexico. Yeah, let's be clear. It was this whatever America One app or whatever that stupid thing is.
The concierge service, yes. Yeah, it's ridiculous. But look, this has very real-world consequence. This is the kind of crap that. That these Democrats come up with in their little focus groups that they do in Ivy League University sitting around talking about how great they are.
But in the end, now this has a real word consequence. These apps, they're not really working the way that they said they would. And now they're getting all lined up, got massive numbers.
Now they're trying to figure out what to do with them. In order to to manage it, now Mexico's having to deal with it. But with all due respect to AMLO and the Mexican government, they were the ones criticizing Republicans for saying that we ought to stop this nonsense because it's bad for us and bad for Mexico. But the fact is, the rule of law matters. We should export the rule of law.
We should stop importing lawlessness and fentanyl. And that's what we're doing right now with this administration. And this stupid app is causing this very direct consequence. And you just have 40 migrants die as a direct result. Talking with Congressman Chip Roy, the way that I was reading how it worked, they just they download it, they schedule appointment time, they show up, and then they're just processed through like within minutes because of the app.
Is that correct?
Well, that's the goal of it, right? But then, when it gets in a backlog situation where they are right now, then you've got a whole bunch of pressure, and these people are across the Rio Grande going, wait, what are we doing? And then you've got a crisis building over on the other side of the river. And by the way, by doing this app, they're basically end-running the whole point of our law, which is that if you're coming to the United States, You're supposed to come to a port of entry, claim asylum because you're saying that I'm having a credible fear of persecution for my religious or political beliefs. I'd like asylum in the United States.
And we're supposed to make a determination of that. We're supposed to adjudicate the claim and then figure out what we can do on a temporary basis or whether you're going to get a permanent status here because you can't go back home safely. But we don't do that, right? We only do that a little bit. Mostly we're just flooding the zone with lots of people because the Biden administration has put up a big knee outside saying, hey, rush our border and we'll just release you.
Yeah. Yeah. Talking with Congressman Chiproy, he just came off of the floor there talking about the border. I wanted to ask you, too, this story that came out just this morning of the U.S. journalist, Wall Street Journal.
He's been doing a number of different stories. I was actually reading everything under his byline over at Wall Street Journal. He was arrested by Russia. State Department now puts out this travel release that any American living in or traveling in Russia needs to depart immediately. Do you think Joe Biden's going to trade someone?
I mean, does he have any other arms dealers languishing in a prison somewhere that he can trade? I don't know. How is he going to deal with this?
Well, I mean, whatever he's going to do, I'm sure it's the opposite of what should be done. Look, I was just slightly twisted on this. I was having a conversation yesterday about the energy bills. And what we're seeing right now, just yesterday on the floor, we were debating this and I said, hey, last year, FERC passed some stupid rule about American gas pipelines literally a week before Russia invaded Ukraine. We weren't dealing with Nord Stream two.
We weren't doing the things we need to do on this side in order to pressure Putin. But then everybody runs around with their little blue and yellow pins saying, oh, we have to go throw $100 billion at Zelensky in Ukraine. If we want to actually win this war, let's go win it. By using political pressure here, by opening up American oil and gas, by telling our NATO allies and our EU allies generally, you guys need to treat this as the war as you say it is. And do what you need to do, and then ask us to come supplement.
But don't ask us to just write a check to Ukraine. We're doing it all backwards, and that actually empowers Putin. Our energy policies by this administration are empowering Putin. We'll see what the president does here. But again, they're doing everything backward.
Yeah, speaking of the empowering Putin, the the petro dollar pretty much done now. And then news now with Brazil be working with China. Just again, just right. Just it gets ever so much closer.
Well, this is actually really important, right? Because this is what I've been saying about our border policies and our lack of engagement in the Western Hemisphere. China is getting a foothold in the Western Hemisphere, and we're not doing anything about it. Again, we should be pushing south, working with our southern neighbors to have a massive free enterprise zone here that is built around American greatness and the U.S. dollar.
Instead, we're allowing China to penetrate the Western Hemisphere and, more importantly, penetrate our own border and endangering us. We just saw some Chinese nationals that were caught crossing the border two weeks ago.
Now it's putting aside the fentanyl and all the espionage and things that are going on with Chinese having a foothold in the Western Hemisphere. Wow.
I mean, it's just, we've got a course correct. Last last question for you, Congressman. I know you're busy. We appreciate you dodging, diving into the cloakroom there while you're coming off the floor. I watched your friend and colleague, Thomas Massey.
People were walking by Jamal Bowman in the halls of Congress, and he was, I mean, it looked like a, you know, I mean, he just looked, it looked like a Victorian freak show. He's sitting there yelling at everyone, talking about data and SROs. Thomas Massey comes by, he's very polite. And Jamal Bowman is ignoring, for instance, there was a great study that came out, Crime Prevention Research, talking about how all the SROs and schools have actually, there hasn't been any, you know, anything like that where they've had that kind of an actual person in the building on the premises present. And then, of course, I mean, I guess he completely ignores the fact that, you know, New York Post reported how the police were discussing that this domestic terrorist targeting this church and this Christian school.
They didn't, they actually were looking at two other public schools. They didn't target. Because they had too much security. I guess he missed that on the floor, but I just thought that was, that doesn't happen all the time, right? That lawmakers just go out there and start screaming and hollering right there on the floor.
I mean, I expect to see that sometimes, or I mean, in the halls, I expect to see it on the floor in the chamber, but not there yelling at passerby. Yeah, I mean, this is one of the things that galls me. Thomas Massey is one of the brightest minds, funniest guys, gentle souls, doesn't really yell at anybody. I mean, like, I'm down there at the floor, like, throwing haymakers. Good cut, bad guy.
Thomas is just one of the best guys I know, and one of my best friends in confidence. And to have his. You know, a member of Congress out there yelling at him right off the floor of the house. And he'd been chastising lots of people. Thomas interjected, trying to say, Look, let's go debate this calmly.
And he wouldn't have it. And as usual, Thomas was putting out facts and good arguments that were being ignored, the truth of what's actually going on. Yes, and by the way, let's keep in mind that this, I don't know, boy or girl, whatever the individual was. Uh, you know, she was deemed to have mental health issues. Yeah, she's a woman who used male pronouns, she wanted to be a boy.
And so, but had mental health issues that were being diagnosed that parents knew, and that there were mental health doctors and medical personnel. And they could have done some, right? And they didn't. Like, that's the whole point here. People talk about red flag laws and all these things.
Like, parents and individuals who are responsible for or with other human beings need to step up. Like we have families abandoning people, dads that are MIA. We are destroying our culture, and you want to know why then someone does something like this when we're going around trying to tell people to rebrand their entire sector. Orientation. It's absolutely ridiculous.
And then to have somebody just yell at someone like Thomas Massey, because we have dare to believe that we think we ought to defend ourselves and our schools will be better protected. If you've got officers there to defend against this sort of thing, it's insane. Yeah, I completely agree. Congressman Chiproy from the Great Republic of Texas. Good to see you, my friend.
Thank you so much for giving us some of your time today. Keep going out there. We appreciate you. You're representing us. Best Chris and your whole family.
Take care. Thank you so much, sir. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man.
So I don't know why anybody would do this. A Florida man decided he had a he got a DUI on his bicycle because he was trying to run away from employ from police. A 28-year-old Florida man, he was arrested. They were trying to get him to stop. He was charged with fleeing and eluding.
He was on a bicycle impeding traffic. He was apparent at nine AM, like people he said, they police responded. He did not stop. They had their line lights and sirens going. The uh individual in question, Clayton Guy Peavy, kept pedaling.
He just pedaled faster.
So he finally stopped after he got tired, and they booked him into Monroe County Jail on a $7,500 bond. He actually thought he was going to outpedal the police. He thought he's gonna peddle him. And he was he was Drunk as a skunk on his bike in the middle of the highway, apparently. That's why people that's why they call the police.
Why would you do that? I don't know. I mean, uh a Florida man This is CBS12. He was caught. Hiding in insulation.
After he broke into somebody's home. That's so Bad. Lee County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a burglary in progress. And at the house, they were told that an unknown man walked in but never left.
So they heard somebody in the attic and they went up. They found a five-gallon bucket under the attic along with debris on the floor. And they told him to come down multiple times. He refused.
So they had to use a non-lethal gas to force him out of the attic. Even with that, he didn't come down.
So then they had to use a canine unit and they found a 44-year-old Bruce Davis, who looks like he's 70. Yeah. Buried under insulation with his face pressed against an air duct to breathe fresh air. And he was totally buried under insulate. Oh my gosh, it's so bad.
So they found all kinds of stuff. You know, he had tools, he broke into the house. All of this. He has a lengthy criminal history, including theft and multiple drug charges.
So he was charged with burglary and resisting an officer. Oh man, it just makes me itch just looking at the photos of it. It's awful. A Florida man held onto a drawbridge for dear life as it raised to allow boats to go by. This is in Miami just yesterday.
He was On the drawbridge And there's like all these aerial photos and He just had to hang it was on the intercoastal waterway. It was on it uh Bricknell City Center. And of course, somebody on TikTok was watching the events unfold and recorded it. I mean, golly, did you call the police maybe? They said that.
The bridge was raised and lowered back down. There was no police in sight. and you can't play the video because he cusses literally throughout the whole thing. Which makes it entirely unplayable. But he looked out his window and he saw a guy stuck on the bridge.
I guess the guy was crossing the bridge. walking across the bridge and He, it's up entirely vertical, and the guy's hanging onto it for dear life. like I guess on a crack or something in the pavement.
Well okay, so here's my question. Don't laugh at me. I've never seen a drawbridge raise up like that. I've never seen a drawbridge in my life. Never have.
But I would just imagine it's not like they flip up really fast. You know, it takes some time. I mean, I'm just looking at the distance. I could have easily sprinted down. I could have easily, and I'm a distance runner who's not a great sprinter, I could have easily sprinted down.
So this guy, it was entirely vertical. And this guy was hanging on. to the pavement. Right as the boats were allowed to pass underneath. I 'Cause they s they I mean, it doesn't show the whole bridge raising up, it just shows it part way up.
But they I mean it's slow, right? Why didn't he just run back down to level ground? Why is he a moron? Because if he would have fallen, he'd have broken his neck. What is wr what is wrong?
What is with you, Miami man? What is wrong with you? Age-old questions. Yeah, well, I mean, most of them, they're endearing. This guy's just dumb.
He just hanging on for dear life. We got our third hour on the way. Scolly, when you the bridge goes up, run off it. Stay with us. More of the Dana Show back after this.
So apparently. The Lawmakers in Tennessee had their first session. Following the Trans terrorist attack on a Christian school. Note that. domestic terror attack.
That was on the Covenant School.
So, for those who are listening, for those who are watching the simulcast, the footage is from. Protesters, they broke through the security and got into the capital, inside the capital, which I'm told is an insurrection. And They were protesting for gun control. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash here with you, the top of this third hour of the program.
And This Like I said, the first day that Tennessee lawmakers were back after the tragedy on Monday. And they had all these people. They were outside pr outside protesting is one thing, but pushing through security and all of that. Getting inside the building, I was told that that's an insurrection. And It I I I love the media is already well it was a mostly peaceful protest.
Yeah. They're already running that. They gathered at the state capitol demanding stronger gun laws. Gathered at the state capitol. Again, that didn't look like gathering at the state capitol.
Not at all. The media and everything else, they've just screwed the victims. It's pretty much how they're doing it. The President sent out a statement accusing conservatives of targeting, terrifying and hurting transgender people. This was just you know, a couple of days after a a radical trans terrorist uh targeted and killed a bunch of Christians.
including children. The president's statement said that included: A wave of discriminatory state laws is targeting transgender youth, terrifying families, and hurting kids who are not hurting anyone. An epidemic of violence against transgender women and girls, in particular women and girls of color, has taken lives far too soon. None of this is, no, it's not. That's false.
Absolutely false. Maybe spare a tear for the actual victims before you celebrate their killers. I just this is disgusting. But this is what they've been doing running Absolute defense. This entire time.
And then the what is it, the Trans Day of Vengeance is still happening on Saturday. But no, there is not this This Uh Targeting. That's happening. That well, except its targeting of Christians. I'm pulling up this this survey that I have.
That gets into it and we pull this piece up. Uh because it's A piece that gets into how it's actually not Uh there isn't this there's the statistics simply just don't support The accusation that transgender people are being targeted and there's a genocide. And that's all what these, that's all everything that these activists have been stating. And I'm just Just it's just shocking to me. The way that the extent to which the left and the media have been running out and running defense for this.
Like, for instance, this is. Uh Washington Post. A reporter with their story. Quote, conservatives are exploiting the Nashville shooting to escalate anti-trans rhetoric. A school shooting researcher told, oh, this is not a good faith effort at trying to address, this is a cynical bigoted attack.
Oh, my gosh. No, it's the It's the it's the killer who's the victim. Unbelievable.
So all these this is this is the the the language that they're using and yet they like this, this from from Washington Post. Quote, the attempts on the right to connect violence to transgender people come even through trans come even though transgender people are rarely the par oh my heavens. How dare you try to connect? Violence to this these individuals, or from their rhetoric, or from it you know, have you seen their rhetoric lately? Have you seen it?
They use the rhetoric they use. Have you seen all of the protests, not just in the United States, but around the world? I was watching a video of women getting knocked to the ground by men cosplaying as women. It was like this let women speak rally. They were being full on assaulted.
And then this is the reaction. The reaction that they're having here is abhorrent. Storming into the building like this? I mean, and then they're the ones that think that they're somehow wrong, just like the way that the. that you have militant trans activists are like, no, we're the ones who were wronged.
As more and more information comes out, They've been I mean they're It shows that she had a manifesto. She wanted to be a boy for the people who are confused about this. This was a a broad who wanted to be a dude. She had a manifesto. Was you know, had mental health issues, was seeing a mental health professional.
She was apparently meeting for counseling sessions with that pastor, which is why she targeted him. She was hunting him down. These people don't get to sit here and say, no, no, you can't link. Shut up. You know what?
For years and years and years, we have heard anytime that there's been any kind of tragedy involving a firearm that's been illegally used and illegally possessed, everyone blames every other single gun owner out there. In fact, the anti-gun lobby tries to incite violence against law-abiding innocent Americans simply for owning firearms. I've had sitting members of Congress try to incite violence. By calling me and others domestic terrorists simply because we support Second Amendment rights. Or they call us bitter clingers or something like that.
And they blame an entire swath of people. How often have you been told that you have blood on your hands simply because you didn't kill anyone? And in the meantime, they're all running defense for an absolute murderer. And this is that you can't, these people don't want any real conversation. They don't want a solution either.
Not at all. And every single time these people have the opportunity to do something, they don't do it. It's not your fault that Democrats sat on their hands and didn't do anything or provide any move anything at all whatsoever when they controlled all of D.C. You didn't do that. Republicans didn't do that.
Conservatives didn't do that. Democrats did that. It's not your fault that when they had a supermajority during the first part of Obama's and Biden's first term. But they didn't do anything. whether it be on gun control or the border or anything else.
It's not your fault. It's Democrats' fault.
Now, House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries. Is holding a press con, he held a press conference this morning saying that they demanding debate on an assault weapons ban. He says, let's debate the issue of gun safety in front of the American people. Audio sound bite. 26 on this.
This is what they're pushing. Audio sound by 26, listen. House Democrats believe That weapons of war, which are not used to hunt deer, but are used to hunt human beings and slaughter innocent children. Do not belong. in our communities.
across this country. No one hunts a deer with a full autograph. Republicans have a different view. Then air that out. 'Cause we have firearms.
in front of the American people. We're confident in our position. Stop hiding your position. What do you mean? We're not hiding anything.
Do you are you just saying words to fill time, dude? No one w no one goes and hunts with a full auto gun. That's what he's saying. He's saying that but that people hunt with machine guns. That's what he's saying right there.
That's not what but Snow people used to No, he's disqualified from this discussion. He's not educated enough to have it.
Next. I'm done. You know what? Here's the thing. I'm done.
I'm not going to be courteous anymore about this with people who, if you don't know what you're talking about, then you don't care about the issue. If these people Actually, they cared about the issue. If they really cared about children and they cared about saving lives and they cared about this whole entire debate, then they would educate themselves on what the hell it is that they're talking about. No one's asking them to go out and bereva McIntyre from Tremors. But we are asking you to know what you're talking about.
Words have meaning and certain words when used in this argument, in this debate, invoke different legal regulation and penalty. And if you It I mean, I when I care about an issue. I actually take the time to learn about it. You know, that's what we do, right? If you care about an issue, if you care about a particular topic.
You take the time. Two actually learn about the issue. Learn everything that you can re involving it. And Then you then you go forth. But these people don't care enough about the issue.
I can't take anyone seriously who doesn't know what they're talking about.
So I'm done being courteous. I'm not going to sit here and suffer. The offense of having to endure someone dumb on this issue lecture me about something they don't know. I don't go to the NFL and lecture them about how to play football and I'm not going to have anyone who's never even fired a firearm, much less knows anything about gun law, how they work, sit here and lecture me and all of you as to why we can't have the thing they don't know how works, how it works. Not going to do it.
They're doing a full court press on this, just so you know. An absolute full court press.
So This is just be aware. They're going to try to push this. And they're gonna they're gonna try to make they're gonna try to make it a reality.
So We uh in addition to this A couple of other things here that I want to hit. That I want to make sure that we're. getting into here. Because we've had uh I was telling you a little earlier. About the journalists that had been arrested by Russia, then we had the Blackhawk helicopter.
We also have this from New York Post. U.S. Marshals were told not to arrest abortion protesters at the Supreme Court justices' homes. You remember all of this, right? This is last summer.
When you had All these protesters outside of you know, like like the guy who was arrested because he was gonna kill Brett Kavanaugh.
Well, according to new documents, They were told to not arrest people. We're going to talk about that here coming up. We have headlines on the way as well that you do not want to miss. We'll break this story down here. And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five.
The guy who's called the QAnon shaman, Jacob Chansley, was released 14 months early to a halfway house. This, the guy who was with the Buffalo Head wandering around the Capitol, and what they said was the insurrection, which, but the people being violent in the Capitol and Tennessee aren't, apparently. Chansley's lawyer said that his client was released 14 months earlier than expected, transferred to a halfway house. He had a felony charge of obstructing an official proceeding. He was sentenced to 41 months in jail.
And they, he kind of was like the face, I guess, of the riot that broke out, but. Anyway, so he's in a halfway house 14 months early. The only alcohol-free bar in Dublin closes its doors. I wonder why. It was called the Virgin Mary and it was branded as uh Dublin's only alcohol-free bar.
It opened in 2019 and it had alcohol-free cocktails.
So come get sugar. Just sugary drinks is all it is. And they said, well, their time came to a close. I mean... A million of us could have told you that this is probably not going to last.
I mean, it's one thing to have non-alcoholic drinks on the menu, but to have a bar, I mean, that's you're getting everybody sugar at that point. That's all it is, sugar drinks. Nobody wants that. Come on. Also, that's true, nobody wants that.
The, I don't understand why anybody would do this. Gosh, I hate everything. Where's the meteor? You can now experience death in a virtual reality simulation. If you've ever wondered what death felt like, because everyone's, you know, really.
Just kind of guessing. They said that thanks to an unusual VR simulation, you can face a near-death experience. People say it causes panic. Who would want to do this? You're asked to lie down on a fake hospital bed.
You're hooked up to a heart rate monitor. And apparently. They will, it can be unsettling.
So, there's like they said that you can give cues or whatever, if and for staff on hand to pull you out. This is so dumb. Stop it. By the way, VR is not. No, stop.
It's not, no, not even the same. Remember one time, I've done like VR simulations where I'm like, this is so stupid. Like, where it's like usually like a defense thing. I like force on force better, but they're it's just dumb. It's dumb.
I don't like it. It's dumb because you real, you know, you're in a VR simulation. It's not real. How would that work? Anyway, uh I just I don't know why people do this.
There's water, apparently, more water found on the moon, but it's locked. into tiny glass beads. Which is Kind of interesting. The pictures are really cool. The Wall Street Journal has the story.
They say that, yes, there's more water that was found on the moon. It's the apparently China's rover says they found it, and it's in beads. They found it while drilling and excavating the lunar surface samples in 2020. And it was two weeks on the moon in 2020, and they were able to drill several feet down into the lunar surface. And they returned three, almost three and a half pounds of material.
And they said that it was from an impact crater, and among it were these glass beads that had some water in it, I guess. It's just interesting. Let's see. A couple, new report, NBC San Diego says that Blackstone, the Blackstone group, is buying San Diego's affordable housing and hiking up rent prices. Blackstone purchased thousands of San Diego's affordable housing units in 21, raised the rent anywhere from 43 to 64% just two years, says the report.
So it's pricing people out. And if you're broke, CNN says you can now have ramen for breakfast if you can't afford eggs anymore. Come on. We'll talk about that because who's going to eat ramen for breakfast? Stop it.
Nobody. Stay with us. Want a behind-the-scenes look at the Dana Show? Subscribe to Dana's chapter and verse newsletter for a deeper dive in all things Dana at Danalash.com. He was armed with a semi-automatic assault pistol and an extended magazine.
In his spraying motion, he shot 42 times at the innocent people inside within minutes, murdering 11 people and injuring nine others.
Well, this was the Monterey Park. This is Representative Judy Chu trying to describe what a semi-automatic Uh Pistol. is. Welcome back to the program. Tainelash here with you.
Trying to feel like what meme best typifies. Best best signifies my attitude right now. I whether it's Jamal Bowman or somebody else, like I got a bunch of other stuff I wanted to discuss too, which we're going to get into, like particularly the China-Brazil dis agreement here. But This, one of the reasons the Democrats are going so overtime talking about guns right now is because. You know, there's the Trans Day of Vengeance that's coming up on Saturday, and they're trying so hard to.
move the discussion away from the trans issues. the militant trans issues and then to and focusing on guns.
So there the the more that peo and that's just tough. Tough. I was called a terrorist by members of my own government.
So, no, I'm going to talk about this all day long, all day long. Oh, goodness.
So The Latest with, let me pull this up. I told you that Biden had issued a proclamation. He ignored the victims. that were murdered. by this trans terrorist, this chick who wanted to be a dude.
In favor of issuing this proclamation for the Trans Day of Vengeance. I mean, I read you like one of the big takeaways of it. He didn't mention the. Victims at all. He was talking about trans issues, trans this, trans that, trans, you know, you're going to be seen.
This is it's just so maddening. What is this being seen thing? What is this? That's what uh they reported at Houston paper. Nashville shooter felt no other effective way to be seen, says radical trans group.
So wait, the penalty for not validating somebody else's self-perception is to is is murder. Yes, yes, yes. We see y'all. Don't worry. We see you.
I mean, hell, it's hard to miss. I just saw a photo of a dude in a crop a fat dude in a crop top. With Like red lipstick on, sitting in a Starbucks at his laptop. It was a photo that just flew by. No one's missing that.
Okay. Nobody's missing that. Go ahead and say it, Kane. Go ahead and say it. Yes, you can.
Go ahead.
Well, no, no, you can't say the last word. Yeah, that last part I can. But I'm seriously, I wish I could unsee a lot of it.
So, yeah, it's not an issue of you not being seen. Just so you know. Yeah. I don't I don't even what does that language even mean? I don't know.
It it it Doesn't make sense to me.
Now the president is traveling around the country. trying to sell everybody on his uh budget, which nobody's buying because everyone's broke. No one believes you. I saw this story. Uh, it's from CNN.
They're trying to make you feel better about being broke. No joke, it says they go, the high price of eggs and other breakfast staples is forcing some to look for cheaper alternatives. How about ramen? Uh how much sodium is in ramen? Those little ramen instant cups.
Right up. I think it smells like feet. The cups. I don't like instant anything in a cup. You know how much process I think goes in that?
That's so bad for you. If it comes in a cup, you put it in a microwave. Find something better to eat. I mean get some fruit.
Something. This is bad. They're saying Cup of Noodles, the budget-friendly food company, has created a breakfast version of their instant ramen. It mixes together the flavors. The flavors of sausage and maple syrup pancakes and eggs in a saucy texture come to life with water.
So it's noodles. but with like sausage flavor. We're never getting out of the segment. What happened? Ha ha.
Yeah. Oh my gosh, I think I'd rather starve to death. Oh my gosh.
Sausage-flavored noodles, Kane. I was wondering what bugs they recommend with ramen. I mean, I would almost rather eat them. And then crickets? Yeah.
Chicken flavor. Cricket ramen is fire. This is horrible. I would legit starve to death. I would eat dirt.
It has minerals in it. I mean, I would eat that. Oh my gosh, I can't.
Okay, let's get back to them.
So it's gonna be on sale for $1.18. at select Walmart stores and you can get it on the website. I mean Affordable. They had a pumpkin spice ramen last fall. I saw people riot over that basically.
Okay. I but it it's it's flavor. It's Sausage flavor. How do you make sausage flavor? Shut up.
You know what I mean? How is that or chicken flavor? It doesn't have those things in it. It's just the flavor. The bouillon.
This is gross. It's the reduced. No, they don't got no egg bouillon. It's the reduced and freeze-dried. I guess it would be the the broth.
So gross. And then egg broth. I don't want to. The thing is, I'm a fan of ramen. I like ramen.
I mean, maybe not the instant stuff like you said. Like Juan showing that on the screen right now. Yeah, there's no way. I don't but I like the ramen. You go to a nice Japanese restaurant.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I like noodles. This is not that No, it is not. It is not. This is evil in a cup that is going to get you, is what it is.
If my grandmother was alive, she'd be like, that's of the devil. Right there is of the devil. Of O V of the devil. Which uh which instant food will you tolerate? Mine's mashed potatoes.
None. I literally will not eat instant food. I will go hungry. I'm not kidding you. I try to avoid the microwave as much as possible, but I'll do popcorn in the microwave still.
The one thing that I did when I was in college. Was the hot pocket? Oh man. Yeah, dude. They don't make them like that anymore.
No, they don't. And you're like, I probably had like. I don't know I don't understand the degrees, but I probably had like fifty thousandth degree burns on my roof of my mouth or something. I'm like, it burns your lips right off. I mean, it's just the hot pockets so hot when it comes out.
And then there's always that one cold piece of meat in the middle that's nasty, and then you're like, why do I eat hot pockets? And then you forget about that when you eat another hot pocket next time.
So that's the only thing that I ever did. I don't eat. And that was when I was in college. I don't eat processed food because I, I, I, it just, there's something about it, I just can't eat it. It's just weird to me.
I think it's just as I got older. and I had kids, I just I don't know, I can't I can't. It just I will I will mugge her up something in the kitchen based on like nothing. We got some uh pinko flakes here and uh Got some some Almond milk and paprika. Go to town.
I don't know. It's just like all. I don't know. I just can't. Do you do you eat instant food?
It's so bad for you. You know how much sodium's in that? Nope, not anymore. I haven't that's been a long time. I've been making my own food for quite a while now.
Oh, I just can't.
So anyway, but but see, here's the thing, we're all we're all broke. And getting, you know, like eggs are so ridiculously expensive. Produce is so expensive.
So they're sitting here. I mean you got Biden out there talking about ice cream and people are like, Well, I guess I'll have some egg flavored noodles. In a cup for a dollar! I mean Come on. And what was he talking about?
Can someone I know I didn't mean to go down this road, but can someone tell me what in the world what is that ice cream brand? Hold up. I'm gonna just Google this live right here. It's the I think it's the same brand that Nancy Pelosi had in her fridge. It's the yeah, okay, so it's the Jenny Ice Cream J-E-N-I.
What is up with them and Democrats? It's like is this a cult? Every Democrat is eating the and they talk about it at some point. I read it somewhere that it is a um that they're a big supporter of Democrats or something like that and they donate to Democrats and that's why 'cause Nancy Pelosi had two of her sub-zero drawers, her thirty or she had like twenty five thousand dollar fridge uh freezers. two of 'em, and she pulled out her drawers and they were filled to the brim with this stuff.
this Ginny ice cream stuff. And it is so dang expensive. You get a little bitty bit. A little bitty bit is what you so one of the Hold up. How many I don't know how many ounces this is?
Now look at the ounces. It's a It's like f almo it's like thirteen dollars for A little bitty thing. It looks like that looks like a cuff. Tell me how much is in it, you stupid website. Eight ounces?
It doesn't even say because all the decoration on the front of it.
So it'd be 16 ounces if it's a pint. Half pint is eight ounces. Oh my gosh, one pint. is is twelve dollars without tax without tax, twelve dollars.
So, oh my gosh, almost a dollar an ounce. That's insane. That is absolutely insane. Does it take weight off you as you eat it? Who's gonna pay that much for ice cream?
I I mean so Nancy Pelosi had she had I mean, we froze it at one point. We'll recount how many things she had in there and add it. She had like Something like oh like a hundred and fifty dollars worth of ice cream in her drawer. Just one drawer. She said she had another drawer, and I'm like, oh my gosh.
So she probably had like two hundred worth she had I mean, I'm not exaggerating, there were tons of them. In that drawer. She's like, I just have my ice cream. Biden was talking about this the other day. He was talking about how he liked this ice cream.
People are so damn broke. They're talking about eating egg-flavored instant noodles. that sell for a dollar eighteen at Walmart for breakfast. You have legacy press outlets that are promoting this as a thing for people to do to save money. And he's out there, I'm gumming this $12 a pint, no tax ice cream.
I was leveraging $8 million. Oh my gosh.
Completely tone deaf. I mean, for real, what do they? Why is that ice cream so expensive? Why do Democrats like it so much? I mean, I have some theories, but.
Man. That just it's just completely Tone deaf.
So one of the other quick things I want to hit real fast is this um Flori so I don't know. I saw a bunch of, I don't even think a lawyer Twitter can explain this well. The law of the rule of perpetuities. that comes up in like for first year law and all this stuff. Um because everyone's saying, Oh, Disney just didn't just, you know, this is why you study la uh rule of perpetuities, this is why you study this in law school, et cetera, et cetera.
And none of the lawyers on Twitter were agreeing in terms of how it would be how actually it would play out in this case. Because it's actually it's like a it's a tough debate to have. Um But so they were trying to say that Disney was quietly, they were trying to move to take power. before the new Florida State Board took over? The Reedy Creek, that whole Reedy Creek thing, because Disney is mad that they don't have their special allotments anymore.
See, what was going on was big government before. DeSantis and Florida Republicans undid the big government. The big government was allowing Disney to have all of these special perks and all of this other stuff, and that was the big government aspect of it. And so Disney is trying to outmaneuver them. But I don't think it's going to go over well because Right as they get over, they always get over their skis, and I feel like there's another shoe that's gonna drop.
With this, it's going to play out in court. But we'll keep an eye on it. Listen to the Dana Show live on the Odyssey app, weekdays noon to 3 p.m. Eastern Time. So, Madam Secretary, is it your policy that critical minerals should be sourced from countries that are stewards of the environment, like the U.S.
and our allies, or sourced from Russia and China that don't share our same values? Congressman, what I'll say is the President is committed to. Pretty much a yes and no. It's your policy, madam. Our policy is to work to make sure we have the best Um I'll take that as a maybe.
So are you aware that China produces more emissions than any other country on the planet? I have probably read that somewhere. Are you also aware that China produces 90% of the world's plastic from four rivers? I will take that as You also are aware that China is the biggest offender on illegal fishing. Thank you, Chair.
Have you read the Department of Interior report on critical minerals dated December 17? December 17th of 2020 One 2017. 2017. I have not read that full report from 2017. Oh my gosh.
Are you aware that China? Controls By proxy production. the supply chain of critical minerals that are critical to both the EV world and defense. Thank you for that information. Oh my gosh, Deb Holland has no idea what's going on.
She's the Secretary of the Interior. Yeah. Man, anybody can get a job in this administration. You don't have to know nothing about anything you're doing. Welcome back to Interlash Video.
Sh no I mean literally just Nothing. Wow.
I mean, these are simple questions. About Just basic Issues regarding the rare earth elements, all of this other stuff. This is what he's talking about. And she has no idea how to answer any of this. That's, I mean, one of the biggest issues right now in our ongoing energy.
Debate. And she just was. She had no words, nothing that really makes you feel confident about the people representing you in Washington. Boy, we're. We're well represented, Kane.
Golly. That's weird because I think we're screwed. Yeah, I know.
Alright, today in stupidity. What about the money?
Alright, it is the President of the United States Biden is out there. He seems to think that it's all under control now. This banking crisis and the economy issue. That's all under control, guys. Don't worry.
Earlier, you said there appeared to be more coming on banking. What should we expect coming up as it relates to this banking crisis?
Well, first of all, I think it's pretty much under control now, as many of you have seen. We're looking to see whether it needs any further legislation. It's under control now, he says. All the energy, it's under control. Don't worry about it, guys.
It's all good.
Okay. It's under control. No worries. We're great. I mean, yeah, China's just made some deals with Brazil.
Yeah, they just increased their presence in Latin America. In Russia? Yeah, the petro dollar is pretty much dead now with the petroen. Yeah. But you go, Joe.
Yeah, yeah, Brandon. Let's go. All right, folks, that does it for us today. Make sure you sign up at Substack chapter and verse. I will be back behind the mic with you tomorrow to finish out this week.
God bless. Mm-hmm.
