Hi, it's Delilah. I believe every child deserves enough food to grow healthy and strong. Right now, children are dying from hunger. Through World Help, a Christian humanitarian organization, thirty dollars will feed one starving child for an entire year. Give monthly and provide a year of meals for another child every month while sharing Christ's love.

Call eight three three three hunger or visit WorldHelp. Net slash radio from the principal Toyota studios. It's morning in Memphis with Todd Starnes. All right, well we've we've got a tropical storm a brewing in the Gulf of Mexico, and we've got a full blown hurricane. At Memphis City Hall.

Hello, everybody. A good morning. I'm Todd Sturds, and welcome to the Mighty I90. Great to have you with us today. We have a jam-packed show for you, and some great guests.

As a matter of fact, we're going to be talking to our good friend Mike Miller, the owner of Patrick's Neighborhood Bar and Patio. Great place, great food, great environment. And Mike was one of the folks testifying. Yesterday at Congressman David Kastoff's field hearing, by that was sponsored by the House Ways and Means Committee in Collierville.

So we look forward to talking to Mike here in just a little while. Also, Dr. Matt Brown, the senior pastor at Germantown Baptist Church, talking about a major convention. Twenty five hundred Christian counselors in Memphis will really in Germantown for the week, and we'll talk to you about what's going on there at Germantown Baptist Church, but. First, we've got to talk about what happened at Memphis City Hall last night.

All you know, what broke loose? Memphis is now the laughing stock of the nation, thanks to Justin Pearson, who is a Democrat, socialist, a communist. Justin Pearson, right in the middle, right in the thick of the chaos that unfolded last night at City Hall, and quite frankly. Every single person who disrupted the council meeting should have been thrown into jail. These are, ladies and gentlemen, and let's get real here for a minute.

What we're dealing with is an infestation of communists, and these are very bad, very dangerous people. I want you to hear just a little bit of what it sounded like inside City Hall chambers. All of this centering around the data centers and whether or not that city hall was going to put a moratorium. On the data centers that are bringing great jobs and huge revenue to a city that needs great jobs and huge revenue, a cut fourteen, please. All right, they were.

You could hear the guys. You a sellout. You a sellout. We're not quite sure who sold out to whom, but that's what they were screaming. While all that was going on, I mean, all you know what was breaking loose.

There were literally fistfights in the lobby of City Hall. Punches were thrown. Hair weaves were snatched off of heads and. Discarded. I mean, it's something that you would normally see on Beale Street, I guess, on on an average weekend night.

But it was actually happening inside City Hall on live TV. The poor reporter over at Action Action News Five. I felt bad for that guy. I mean, he was right in the middle of a war zone and really became he didn't know what to do. But here's here's what that sounded like.

Cut fifteen. Right now, what I'm seeing, this is something that is going on right now. I want to show what's going on. You can see right now that they are flying and falling out.

Now, I did ask some people in the area what happened, and they did tell me that the meeting is going on. You can see that there's punches being thrown, hits being thrown, and we are still here wondering what is going on.

Now, we're not sure if they have made a vote yet, but I did ask some people that they have made a vote to push it back to October 20th. We're Still waiting to verify that, but you can see that this is getting very chaotic as members are starting to walk outside right now and shouting out that they want justice for this moratorium. You can see this lady right here talking. Can you kind of go ahead and walk us through on what happened? More time, just more delay, more delay.

What we do know is there's contracts out there and folks that have been paid, and Memphis is constantly in stall. We need to be heard. We need to be paid. We need to be able to understand who's making decisions behind our back. What did you hear in there?

What What was it like inside? I know I was inside for an hour or two, and I heard back and forth going on. What did you hear in that last five minutes when I came outside? We were not able to vote for the moratorium today. Basically, it is going to be prolonged again.

So right now, it's been a pile. On just to vote for the moratorium, and right now data centers are continually able to come in here and play this wild, wild risk game like XAI and all the risks. All right, that that was City Hall in Memphis, ladies and gentlemen. Justin Pearson in the middle of all of this, causing all sorts of mayhem. I just have a question for all of you folks, all of you Republicans and, quite frankly, independents who are thinking about sitting out this election.

You really want That guy up on Capitol Hill, you want that to be a daily occurrence on Capitol Hill because that will happen if you elect Justin Pearson. The guy is nothing more than a punk ass thug. That's what that's who Justin Pearson is, and it needs to be said. And people need to call him out. People in his own district need to call him out because that guy has done absolutely nothing for the people.

People of his district, absolutely nothing for the people of his district. And you heard the woman: we want to be paid. They want to hand up that woman, an ignorant woman, ignorant ladies and gentlemen. The fact of the matter is, Elon Musk has done a lot. I mean, a lot.

For the city of Memphis, and we're going to get into a lot of that this morning. We want to get your reaction as well.

Now, look, I get it. There are some legitimate concerns surrounding the data centers. We've heard a lot from from folks who have been very concerned about the about the noise, about the pollution. But I will tell you that there is no evidence that these data centers no. No evidence that these data centers are causing any sorts of of health issues or concerns here in in the mid south.

There's no evidence, no reporting. As a matter of fact, when you check in with the health department, they keep track of all of these things. The health department says they have seen absolutely no increase at all. In the you know in any sorts of health issues surrounding these data centers, but what we can tell you is that these data centers are creating good-paying jobs. On average, these jobs generating about a hundred thousand dollars a year in revenue.

So these are good jobs. Hundreds of jobs are coming to the mid south, and that's a big deal because over the past decade, we have lost thousands and thousands. Thousands of jobs. Also, Elon Musk is doing something. All of these nonprofits that come out of city hall, Elon Musk is doing something they are not doing.

He's actually making our lives better. He's going into the neighborhoods. He is using his own money to repair schools and infrastructure. And we're going to get into all of this because you deserve to know the truth. You deserve to know that Elon Musk is not just coming in here and bringing jobs and bringing by the.

Way tax revenue, tax incentives that are going to help the city of Memphis. When we have lost population, we have lost companies. He's coming in here, and he's going above and beyond. And that needs to be said because all of those thugs that were in City Hall last night—they've done nothing for the city of Memphis except cause chaos and controversy, and that's unacceptable. All right, we've got to take a quick break.

We're going to your calls. Mike Miller is on deck coming up. Also, Dr. Matt Brown, Germantown Baptist Church. Your reaction to what happened last night: nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

Let's check in with. Commander Chuck has a look at your morning traffic.

Call eight three three. Three hunger, or visit worldhelp.net/radio. All right, welcome back, everybody.

I'm Todd Stearns, and this is the Mighty 990. By the way, our chief meteorologist, Laura Huckabee, she is monitoring the situation in the Gulf of America, and we'll keep you updated. Could be a little rainy this weekend, and we'll let you know all about that. Also, this morning in Olive Branch, the Olive Branch Police Department they're inviting residents to sit down for free. Coffee and conversation this morning.

Officers are going to be at the McDonald's on Goodman Road from about eight thirty today until nine thirty. The department says no, no formal agenda, just an opportunity for residents to meet officers and ask questions about, well, whatever you want to ask the police questions about. All right, I told you about this incredible event, a rare opportunity that happened in Collierville. Yesterday, the House Ways and Means Committee holding a field hearing about how President Trump's one big, beautiful bill has impacted businesses across America and right here in the Mid South. And several several prominent prominent Memphians and Mid South residents were a part of that panel, including our next guest on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, Mike Miller, owner of Patrick's Neighbor.

Bar and patio, Mike. Hope you're doing good this morning. Doing great. Good morning.

Well, let's talk about yesterday. First of all, what was your reaction when you you got the call saying, "Hey, we want you to testify here at the hearing." Well, you know, I mean, I've got a good relationship with Representative Custo and his office, along with my connections with the National Federation of Independent Business. It was an honor to speak and an honor to be asked to do so. You know, it was something that I'm, I guess, a little bit accustomed to, but glad to help. Mike, I am wondering the one big, beautiful bill as a as a small business owner.

How has that Has that helped you? How are things going? Oh, absolutely! You know, when when one ninety nine A was first introduced in twenty eighteen, the the small business tax deduction that helped me get over the hurdle to offer my staff a four hundred one k program. That's a Matching 401k because a lot of folks in our industry tend to not plan for the future and not do a lot of savings.

It's always something that that has been on my mind, and and we we're at a point now where more than half of our staff actually participate, take advantage of that. And then, you know, coming up to the the passage of the bill, that you know there was a measure of uncertainty that that tax credit that I had been using to fund the largest portion of that was going to be Whether it was going to go away or be made permanent, and the one big beautiful bill made it permanent, and so now I, you know, I have the confidence going forward that I can take all of that. And use that difference to continue to take care of my staff and build the health of my business. You know, Mike, when when you hear you you hear from Republicans around the nation, and there there just seems to be a messaging problem right now. I think with the entire party, it just seems to me if they focused on what you just shared about how the one big beautiful bill is actually helping people, I'm wondering if that would change hearts.

And minds of people who may be undecided about the midterms. Yeah, I think there's you know there's so much of the politics of the world that kind of get get in the way of what reality is. I mean, when you think about it, and I mean, the other side of my testimony yesterday was no tax on tips. You know, I mean, I've got. Fifty employees, thirty of which, plus or minus, are are tipped employees, and they saw, you know, we we did the math.

If everybody did everything that they were supposed to do, filing wise, which obviously I don't have all of that information, my staff alone should have benefited fifty five thousand dollars in tax savings just last year alone. Wow, that's kind of thing that that hits home. Yeah, that's that's where do and do the staff understand? I mean, do you say, hey guys, this because of you know. President Trump promised no tax on tips.

No tax on tips. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, it was something that we had to we had to do a little education because we had to you know make sure that our accounting was correct that we you know had the reporting for them to to be able to file properly. But yeah, I mean, it's it's you know I think it's probably less of a political football at that moment, but certainly a lot of. A lot of positive benefit to to saving that that tax dollar.

Mike Miller joining us, owner of Patrick's Neighborhood Bar and Patio, one of the finest restaurants in in the city. I have put on a good many pounds eating your great food, Mike. I am curious if we could just switch gears. I'm just wondering, what is the big seller for you guys? What's the most popular thing on the menu?

Well, you know we have a pretty broad menu, but the the irony is, if you boil it down to the number one entree that we sell, we actually sell more fish and chips than than any other one item.

Now we've got tons of, and we sell lots of pork chops and veggies, and and again because of the variety, things kind of get spread out a little bit. Everybody kind of has their favorites, and then we do, you know, we do our daily specials.

So you know, Monday's chicken and dumplings, and Thursday's turkey and or excuse me, chicken and dressing. You know, so it's it's it's kind of hard to tell. But if you just going by the numbers, it's actually fish and chips. Oh look, I've had your fish and look, the fish and chips are awesome. But you also put out a great burger, and for me, that is the sign of a great restaurant.

If they can put out a great, perfect burger, everything else on that menu is going to be awesome. Yeah, you gotta gotta have the one-eyed Jack. That's my favorite. Oh, that is yeah. It's look, it's it's great.

And the problem is, you're way too close to a KWM studios, so it's an easy it's an easy drive over there.

So, but we do appreciate Mike the great work that you and your team are doing. It's a great restaurant, and we appreciate we appreciate the contributions you're making to make Memphis matter again.

Well, I appreciate the kind words, and we look forward to seeing you soon. All right, Mike Miller, everybody, and he is on the road this morning, but was kind enough to phone in. Mike, thank you, and be safe out there on the roadways. Mike Miller, owner of Patrick's Neighborhood Bar and Patio, one of several local business owners who were part of this really historic moment in Collierville with the House Ways and Means Committee holding. That that special hearing.

Our telephone number nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. And let me just say this: what what Mike just said. We need every. We need.

I'm sure there are plenty of other restaurant owners and small business owners around the nation who can also share testimony about how their lot in life has improved as a result of the one big beautiful bill. Those are the people that Republicans need to be putting out there and highlighting as we move towards the midterms. Otherwise, no one really can. You know, if you if you go up to the average, let's just say I've got to go grocery shopping this afternoon. After you know, I was gone ten days.

I have nothing in the refrigerator, and I I've got to go to Super Low this afternoon. And if I'm just walking around Super Low, and I'm asking someone, okay, what do What's in the one big beautiful bill? I don't think anybody could tell me. I really i I just don't i.

So again, it needs to be simplified for everybody, and the Republicans just they've got to do a better job of that. Because, ladies and gentlemen, what happened at City Hall last night? That's going to be our life if the Democrats retake Congress, and and I don't want that to happen. I really don't. By the way, we got a call from one of our listeners.

She said, "Is there video of what happened last night?" Yes, there is. And you can see it all at kwhamradio dot com. That's kwhamradio dot com, or go to mighty nine ninety dot com. It'll take you to the same place, and you'll be able to see the videos for yourself. And it is ugly.

I I thought Yolanda Cooper Sutton was going to come to blows with Amber Sherman. That would have been a heavyweight match. And man, I just the fighting is what got me. They had this security guard, and he's like, "You people are not paying me enough money to put up with this nonsense." I mean, that's really what was going on last night. Real quick, and well, you know what?

We'll circle back after the break here. But I I want to share. We're going to go through and share exactly what Elon Musk and his foundation have done for the Mid South. And I'll tell you this: it's a whole lot more than those communist activists have done for the Mid South. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

Your reaction to what happened last night at City Hall coming up. We'll be right back, everybody. Oh, this is pretty cool! The Mid South Fair opening earlier today, or early today, at Lander Center in South Haven. Gates are open at ten o'clock this morning until ten o'clock tonight.

Get this: free gate admission. All day from ten until four.

So if you're an early, you know what? Get the early bird thing. Then you can go over to Dale's for dinner, or you can go down to Junior's Eating House in Hernando. Great food. But head over to the Landers Center today for the Mid South Fair opening up ten o'clock today.

After four, regular admission is fifteen dollars for adults, ten dollars for kids. That's ages five through twelve and seniors sixty and older. Parking, by the way, a lot of people asking about parking at the Mid South Fair. Parking five dollars per car. All right, nine zero one two six zero five nine two six is our telephone number.

That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. I got an email late last night from Trey Hargett, who is our great Secretary of State here in Tennessee, and says early voting for the state and federal elections begins next week.

So again, if you are planning to vote, which you should, there's absolutely no excuse. My recommendation: don't wait till election day. One of the things I do, and this is just me, I'm the first day of early voting. I'm out at the polls and I'm casting my my vote, and that's what I hope you do as well. We have got to get out and vote.

And look, folks, if you really want to change the direction of what's happening in in the state and also the nation. Then you're going to want to get out and vote. Otherwise, you're part of the problem. All you folks that have stayed home and you don't vote, well, you know what? Shame on you because you're not a good citizen.

And some, well, you're responsible for the problems. I mean, it really is that simple.

So I want to get back to Elon Musk because Elon has been catching a lot of flack from these radical activists who say, you know, they're starving, they don't have any money. Let me tell you something: most of these folks are, let's just say, wide loads.

So they're not missing any meals. These protesters—we've got that—that bombarded City Hall yesterday. These people are taking many of these groups get money from city organizations, your tax dollars, and it's unacceptable. And we cannot have mob rule in Memphis. We just cannot have that.

So when you look at ultimately what's really going on. And the work that Elon Musk has really been doing here in the mid south, you get a better understanding of of how important it is to have him here, to have SpaceX I here.

So we're going to go through some of this. First of all, Elon and the SpaceX AI. They have been pouring money and resources into some of the poorest neighborhoods in Memphis, including Westwood, White Haven, three eight one zero nine, and that's the area around the Colossus facility. They are working with local contractors on improvements at John P. Freeman, at Fairley High School, Westwood High School.

They're literally putting in things like HVAC systems and PA systems, cafeteria furniture, athletic facilities, gymnasiums. The Musk Foundation. Are you ready for this? The Musk Foundation donated three hundred and fifty thousand dollars to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis. And they also have turned some of that money to young people that live in the Westwood community, and and the company has helped out Mount Vernon Baptist Church with fundraising for a new community center.

By the way, the the project at Fairly High School, for example, three point six million dollars.

So we're not talking about a few bucks. We're talking about a lot of money that Elon Musk is pouring into the mid south. And let me just say this: he's not taking you know a lot of these nonprofits. And we're going to get to this in the millions of our tax dollars are going to fund nonprofits. Elon Musk is not taking anything away from us.

He's actually giving to the community. By the way, the company Elon Musk and his employees have cleaned up roads around the area. Are you ready for this? They've removed so far more than three hundred discarded mattresses, five hundred truck tires, fifteen thousand pounds of debris. I just want to know what have all these activists done?

What have they done? I mean, that's just unacceptable.

So that's that's what Elon Musk and his company have have been doing.

Meanwhile, you've got Memphis City Hall, and they're directing tens of millions of dollars a year through grants to all of these nonprofits, and a lot of that money is coming right out of your bank account. That's your tax money. What are those nonprofits actually doing? What are they up to? Because I can tell you what Elon Musk and his team are up to.

And when you talk about the the jobs, this is incredible. As a matter of fact, there's a report out today. I have this in the stack of stuff. There is yet another data center that's going into the old Fred's. Remember the the Fred's headquarters over in over in Memphis.

They're expected to employ several hundred folks, and the data center just Filed a five hundred and seventy-five million dollar permit. That's it's it's really remarkable. And again, we're talking about jobs. We ran the numbers, and these jobs pay between ninety-five thousand dollars a year and a hundred and fifty-eight thousand dollars a year.

So we're talking about good pay and jobs. We're not talking about you know working down at the local convenience store here.

So all that to say, when you hear these protesters and when you see them, that's what they oppose. They oppose good jobs. They oppose people coming in and being good citizens. They oppose all the folks that are are doing philanthropic work here in in the mid south. That's what's really going on.

Because when you look at overall. The amount of tax revenue, for example, Memphis City property tax—they're going to be paying up to five point five million dollars a year in in taxes. You say, why is that important?

Well, it's important because we have lost thousands of jobs over the past decade. I mean, it's insane.

So we've got to be able to make up for this somehow, and that's what Elon is up to. And so that's why you need to be outraged over what happened at City Hall, and you need to be you need to be reaching out to your member of the City Council to make sure they do the right thing here. Because I'm telling you, look around. You see anybody else that's knocking over knocking over folks to come to Memphis? I don't.

As a matter of fact, the property assessor says most of our downtown sky rises are empty. Downtown Memphis is a ghost town.

So why would we not want? Why would we not want the data centers coming into our area? And as as one city council member said yesterday, if they're not going to come, look, if we're going to kick them out of Memphis, they're going to DeSoto County, they're going to Crittenden County. I mean, it really is that simple.

All right, nine zero one two six zero five nine two six our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. We're going to be taking your calls. Your Reaction. What do you think about the data centers?

Also, who are you voting for? You've been hearing David Hatley ads on the Body 990, Marsha Blackburn ads on the Body 990. Who are you going to be voting for, Governor in the in the the big statewide elections coming up in November? All right, gotta take a break. Coming up, Doctor Matt Brown, the senior pastor at Germantown Baptist Church.

He joins us. We'll be right back. All right, it is 63 degrees right now at Bartlett High School. Going to be a nice, warm day here in the mid South. Rain coming in, all part of that big storm system in the Gulf of America.

By the way, this weekend, a lot of excitement as Elevation Worship comes to town. Stephen Furtick is going to be at the FedEx Forum Saturday night. Christian worship. Event beginning at seven o'clock, and tickets are on sale over at FedEx Forum's official ticketing system.

So you're going to want to be sure to check that out.

Well, there is a major national conference happening this week at Germantown Baptist Church. There are several thousand Christian counselors, all part of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, holding their national convention. Right here in our city, let's go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line and say good morning to Dr. Matt Brown, Senior Pastor, my pastor at Germantown Baptist Church. Pastor Matt, good to have you on the show this morning.

Thanks, Todd. Good morning, man. Good to hear from you.

Well, hear your voice. I'm glad you're doing okay. Pastor, doing doing well. That's because I haven't been in church for a while. Everybody, I've been on the road.

You've been everywhere. We're going to send a search party coming looking for you. No. Let me tell you.

Well, last night after the show, rush over because we have so many volunteers that are working to to pull all of this off. And my job last night was on coffee duty. And I'm telling you, those counselors they're drinking a lot of coffee, Doctor Doctor Brown. Gallons and gallons of coffee. They told me yesterday how many gallons these counselors have been drinking.

Now I will say I have shared a little bit of it myself, but there are many gallons. There's upwards of twenty three, twenty four hundred people, or probably more than I guess on the campus, but that many counselors, and in the ACBC organization, there's. Less than five thousand, I think, worldwide, and at least half of them have been on our campus this week. Wow how did How did this happen? I mean, this is a very prestigious, you know, convention conference, and to have it here in Memphis at Germantown Baptist Church, I mean that's that's something pretty huge.

It is, and this is their 50th anniversary too, and so this is something they reached out to us about almost two years ago, eighteen months, something like that. Asked us if we wanted to be a part of it and hosting it, and we were. Interested for some reasons, one is because of the the organization is is biblical counseling, and of course we're we believe the Bible, Todd. Of all things, we believe the Bible, and so we want people to get the Bible, not just from the pulpit, from but also from the counseling room. And so we were excited about that, but also these are good days for Germantown Baptist Church to jump in serve.

That's one of our core values: is to serve others. And we just want to kind of stretch our legs and maximize our our space on our campus, and just see how many people we could hold again. And it's been nice to have the campus full, absolutely full again, wall to wall people. And I can I saw that firsthand yesterday, and also just the volunteer spirit of the congregation, and so many people stopping Germanheim Baptist Church members and thanking them for the hospitality, which is really off the charts. It it has been.

I've been really just excited to see that. I knew our people would would just jump in, and and I've tried to do my my part too, and just try to jump in and help and serve. and And I got a comment from a pastor yesterday, a local pastor Todd, who came to me and said, "Your people at Germantown Baptist Church have just done such a great job. Every time I've seen them, they're willing to serve with smiles on their faces, and we've got a great great church, Todd. I know you know that, but." Just a bunch of people willing to jump in and serve people all they can.

That again, one of our core values is to do that, and we wanted to do that well, and we wanted to do it with a smile on our face. And it's taking a lot of work to do it. Sure, Todd, we've had people there at four o'clock in the morning trying to get things flipped around and rooms set up, and a number of things. And so it's been a great privilege of ours to be able to serve people.

So they just just to be clear, folks, do not rush over for counseling at at Sherman Deb Baptist Church. They're for their convention, but but but still, you know, when you you know, and and we hear this a lot. Of course, we delve into the world of. Politics and culture, but really, I've always believed that the problems facing our country are more spiritual in nature than political in nature. And I have to imagine those counselors are are really helping a lot of people around the country with biblical guidance.

Absolutely. You know, we we've asked the question lately. We've got we have our our own. I have my own podcast there at the church with a with a coworker of mine, Michael Carter, and we do the podcast. We've been interviewing some counselors over the last couple of weeks, and those episodes are coming out soon.

But we've asked them the question: Is biblical counseling all about just getting in a room with people and telling them just go pray and read their Bible and they'll be fine?

Well, no. There's more to it than that. There's it's much more robust counseling. But ultimately, is to point people back to the back to the Savior and back to the sufficiency of the Scripture. God has given us His Word.

We have in Christ all things that we need for life and godliness, is what Peter says.

So we we believe that we have a high view of God, a high view of Scripture, and we just believe that God in His Word has the answers for us. And so we want people to know that we want people to know Him. And we want people to know where they can get their help from. Doctor Matt Brown is joining us this morning, the senior pastor at Germantown Baptist Church. And you mentioned serving the community, and there are so many wonderful things that you guys do.

I know we have Halloween slash fall festival coming up, as well as a big thing around Christmas time. Tell us about some of the things happening there at the church. Yeah, coming up at the end of October is what we call "Light Up the Night," and so it's our way of kind of participating in the trick or treating tradition. And we do that in multiple ways, but it's to put things in the hands of our people to go and take to the homes where they go, maybe the kids go trick or treat or whatever. They could take with them a card of some information and has a gospel track on it.

It has some information about another event coming up, a glow stick, that kind of thing for the kids. And so it's a way of either being. Able to take stuff with you, or having that stuff with you at your home when people show up for your trick or treating, and they will knock on your door and want some candy. Give them that. Give them, you know, give them a smile, and then give them some information.

So we do a number of things. Our community would come to the end of October to try to get the gospel to our neighborhoods. But then what we're also telling them about is a the another event coming up in the first weekend of December. This year's December the fifth and the sixth. That's Saturday and Sunday.

What we call living nativity. And many people that've been around the Memphis area have heard this forever. They've known this. We this has been around for at least three decades now. Where we normally normally will have a big tent in the parking lot, and we'll have live camels and animals and part of a show, so that we can share the gospel in a way that's visual.

We do a living nativity scene, tell the story of the gospel, invite people to come to know Jesus.

Well, this year, Todd, we got a massive development in our living nativity, which we're all excited about. The big part that's normally under the big tent will be moved inside the building this year. We'll still have camels. We'll still have the things inside, but we're hoping that that will provide a better opportunity and some shelter from frigid cold weather. If it gets to that point in December, I don't know that it will, but rain, those kind of things, will allow us to be able to have the event inside.

And I'm really excited that's going to provide some other. Technological expansions and developments to this to this event, so it's going to be a lot of fun. Still going to have the the the look and the same gospel being shared, but in a new way. What about the hot Dr Pepper? Is that still on the menu?

Always on menu.

Okay, that'll change your life, bro. That'll change your life. Got to have some hot Dr Pepper. Hot Dr Pepper. Put a lemon in it, and we serve that every year.

And we sell gallons, or we don't. We give it away free. All right, and we give away. Gallons of hot milk. I'll volunteer for that.

I'm not. I'm not cleaning up after the camel, Doctor Brown. I I can't do that.

Well, we've already got you signed up for that. Appreciate you. By the way, oh, fine.

Okay, if we're going to go down that path, really is it? It's Nativity, Doctor Brown. Nativity. No, no. There are plenty of people who say it wrong around here, Todd.

It's living Nativity.

So thank you for giving me an opportunity to correct that. Oh boy. Oh boy. All right.

Well, Doctor Brown, we've got to we've got to wrap. It up here, but we really appreciate just what what Germantown Baptist Church is doing for the entire community and for the Mid South, and what a blessing that you guys have been to so many great counselors. We appreciate you coming on the show this morning. Thanks, Todd. Appreciate it.
