If you challenge an election, you should be able to challenge an election. I thought the election was a rigged election, a stolen election, and I should have every right to do that.
As you know, you have many people that you've been watching over the years do the same thing, whether it's Hillary Clinton or Stacey Abrams or many others. When you have that great freedom to challenge, you have to be able to, otherwise you're going to have very dishonest elections. What has taken place here is a travesty of justice. We did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong.
And everybody knows that. I've never had such support. And that goes with the other ones, too. What they're doing is election interference. They're trying to interfere with an election.
There's never been anything like it in our country before. This is their way of campaigning. And this is one instance, but you have three other instances. It's election interference.
So I want to thank you for being here. We did nothing wrong at all. And we have every right, every single right, to challenge an election that we think is dishonest, that we think it's very dishonest.
So thank you all very much, and I'll see you very soon.
So that was the uh president yesterday when he turned himself in, conveniently as I was going to a dinner. You know, let me check my schedule, maybe. It'd be great if you could have done it when we were on air. No, I'm kidding. No, he turned himself in.
The Fulton County. Fulton County Jail. And uh I guess so I guess everybody's Everybody's accounted for, all the ducks are in a row, right? Everybody down there, right?
Okay, so turned himself in. I'm going to get to the mug shot because you know I've been waiting for this for the merching opportunities. It's Friday. I'm a little loopy today. Like we've had a long week.
This is buckle up. All right, welcome to the show. Dana Lash here with you. Your Mildly entertaining curmudgeon. And you can listen coast to coast on this thing called the radio.
And you can stream it on this thing called the Wevernets. And then you can also watch the simulcast on YouTube, Facebook, and channel 347 Direct TV.
So. I am I don't, I'm, I'm of, I know there's important things to get into, but it's about me right now. I'm of two minds about the mug shot. You know what I mean? I kind of wanted a Johnny Cash sort of mugshot.
Like, um Like Just like a Johnny, like a mean scowl. I mean, he's got a mean scowl. I thought the angle was weird, and I wish he would have tilted his chin up. See he needs a glam team like Kim Kardashian when she goes to the DMV. Trump should have brought a glam team to do this.
And then I'm a little honestly. I'm a little disappointed that there wasn't one there. Just to be like, no, no, no, I'm just bring tilt the chin up.
So he's like glaring into the camera. I get it. But I kind of wanted a little bit more smarminess, you know what I mean? I don't know. I liked it.
I liked it. I don't dislike it. That's the thing. But I kind of wanted the chin tilted up a little bit. He looks like he's really ready to.
Get revenge on the highlight on the top of the hair, the reflection, makes it a little difficult to do some of the shepherd fairy-esque type stuff that I wanted to do when merching the hell out of this thing. I'm just saying.
Now, do they have it up on the campaign site? Does he have his merging opportunities up there? On the campaign side. Yeah, because if he doesn't have merchandise up on his website by the end of the day, I can never, ever consider supporting him ever. I'm that petty because I want the products.
I want, I like to monetize hate. That's one of the reasons why I decided to monetize my tweets. And then, every now and then, if you see a bomb thrown out there, just don't get involved. Let the trolls fight it out because they make me money. God bless America But I wanted the chin tilted up a little bit and I wanted more of a dead-on, dead-eye stare.
You know what I'm saying? I mean, he's so my other thought on this.
Now here's the other side of me arguing with us. Is You could just sell it with a shirt. On a shirt, and have just one word: reckoning. That's my idea.
So give me 20%. That you know what I mean? Like, just have it like that, and then you could do like a black and white, you could do like a red, white, and blue, like a shepherd fairy kind of thing. You guys all remember the Obama thing where it was like red, white, and blue? That was that was Shepherd Fairy who did that.
He basically just added color to something. It wasn't anything monumental, so let's get over it. But, you know, it's a good shirt, right? Hats, mugs. I am pleased that he did wear a red tie and a blue suit because then you don't have to color correct a lot of stuff.
You know, that can roll with a lot of things, that can play in with a lot of like. You know, some of the I'm just, I'm, I'm like thinking of the merging opportunities. That was my first thought, you know, as a capitalist. How can How can money be made off of this?
So I'm really good at coming up with products. That is one thing I'm very good at. And band names. Ski ball. As well.
Like, just amazing.
So That's you know that were you did you like the mug shot? Because Kane was at dinner with me when the mug shot came up and we were all looking at it. Oh, yeah. We had some discussions about it, and I think most of us did agree that the tilted chin would have been a little helpful. Yeah, it looks gangster to me.
I don't care about no tilted chin. He needs those sunglasses and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Yeah, I don't care about glamming this up. I think this is good. I mean, or I would I would accept also a t-shirt that just has the mug shot.
And then the words, I'm gonna beat your ass under the knee. I'm just under the bottom of it. I mean, that's now sidebar. RELATED Interestingly enough, this is the exact same look that my mother would give me. When I was a kid and I acted a fool.
This is the exact same look that she would give me. This was the look. that was probably about 30 seconds before a flip-flop came off. That you know what I mean? Kane knows it's like 30 seconds before that flip-flop came off.
That's the look that you get.
So, you know, you it resonates for that reason.
So he turned himself in, Fulton County Jail. We get to go to the through this freak show and this thirsty DA who so wants her some attention. You know how it Here's the thing about America. You know, we went from let's work hard And let's allow like our accomplishments to speak for themselves and you know, et cetera, et cetera, blah, blah, blah. Nobody does that anymore.
Nobody gives a rat's backside about your accomplishments. No, how much drama Can you create, and how much attention and clout can you chase? That's what it's all about now. That's what this DA is doing. Because I'm not a fan of these charges.
The Mar-a-Lago thing, I gotta be real with y'all, I do think that that's a little trickier. Just because of the classified info, that's a little trickier. But with this. I mean, these, I just don't get it, especially, you know, when I was like looking at all the stuff for this, I mean, what you, you get in, you get in trouble for tweeting? You can't tweet?
That's like a free speech issue to me.
Now he tweeted this out yesterday.
So back to you, when I what I heard a little bit was that He was supposed to tweet out his first tweet back to Twitter was supposed to be the Tucker interview. He was gonna tweet that out, but apparently Legally he couldn't do it. And because, you know, with some of the, I guess they touched on some of the Georgia stuff, or so he just tweeted the mug shop first.
So there was a little bit of drama last night. A little little inside baseball. A little bit of drama.
So this was, I don't know how many retweets it has, but...
So there you go. Very interesting.
So now what?
Well, now we got the... Other 19. I think they're going to want to they're going to try. to kick everything off. Like, uh, what's her face, Fanny?
Down there Fanny Don't Let It Me Down. I mean she look a Reba McIntyre song Why didn't I play that coming in here? Sidebar, Kane, don't let me forget that. Headlines. That's our song for headlines, maybe.
So 19 of them. Apparently, everything's supposed to kick off in October.
So, a little, what, like maybe almost two months. That trial is supposed to kick off for all 19. It's going to be a freak show. It's going to be a dog and pony show. It's going to be dumb.
I am a little concerned about the lawyer bills for some of these people because they're all not rich. Jenna Ellis is apparently having to foot all of her. Legal bills herself, and I just think maybe you know, you're a billionaire businessman, help assist her out, like help her out with some of the stuff. Like, she went to Batford, all these people did. That's loyalty, by the way.
with a capital LO that's loyalty.
So this is what uh Th that's some of the latest.
Now apparently there's a story coming out that he apparently sold. Mar-a Lago to his son, Junior before His arrest, although it it it could have been just I think it's just transfer Of ownership, and I think that that's a legal thing as well. I don't think that that's it, it seems like that's just a legal thing.
So, very, you know, very kind of interesting. And in the meantime, Um Where the hell is the President? I'm looking at my headlines here because normally, like, they get, you know, they pap him on the beach. Like he's been pictured sitting in a beach chair in Lake Tahoe, right? Any word about where this cat is?
For real, where the hell is he? Where in the world is Joe Biden? Just, you know, 'cause there's a l there's some stuff that's like coming up. We got the the Maui stuff. You know, you got this brick stuff that's been happening.
You got that. I mean, can I just be honest? I don't care about the thugs in Russia killing each other. Am I supposed to care about this? I literally have this on my rundown.
It's Friday. Can I be real? I don't c I don't care. One a thug government killed another thug. Right?
I mean, am I that's that's the truth of it. Are we like what do we what what what do we care? I mean, he's the vi he's a thug. Do you think that That this guy, the head of the Wagner group, would have been any different in any kind of leadership? No!
He's a mercenary.
So you got Russian thugs taking each other out and everyone's It's like a self-cleaning oven. I'm just trying to figure out what the problem is here. Maybe they could start doing a little more of that in the Kremlin. I did say that out loud. Want me to say it again?
That's uh I had some people ask me if I was going to be talking about that. The short answer is no. Don't care. It's a land dispute and Russian thugs are taking each other out. Persuade me.
So this uh situation in Maui, I Ah gosh, I have I really didn't want to share this story. I saw this yesterday. This is one of the saddest stories. And it is one of the most infuriating my blood was boiling. when I was reading this story.
It's been report it's been widely reported, so it's not You know, exaggerated. It's not hyperbole. It's not sensationalism. But The story of these parents that were blocked. from going and checking on their son, who is home alone, while the wildfires were raging.
And when the mother finally was able to get back to the house to check on her child. The house is destroyed. is burned to ash. The child was also burned to death. And he was apparently found in the rubble close.
clutching the family dog. No sirens were sounded. They argued over how to divert water. People can even put out the fires. while their children were burning alive.
That is not an exaggeration. This is one of the worst natural disasters in our country's history. And so far we've had from President Daddy Showers McUnity. No comment. Oh, and then he gave a little speech and then went over there and mispronounced literally every Hawaiian official's name, called Brian Chats, Brian Charts.
Either way, it sounds like the past tense is something dirty. Couldn't even say Maisie Hirono's last name. Talked about how hot the ground was, fell asleep during a memorial, and then flew back to Lake Tahoe so he could sleep on the beach near Tom Steyers' mansion. That's what we got. And in the meantime, people are still digging out.
We're going to talk more about this.
Some of the other stuff we're going to get into today, 2024, I'm going to explain how Twitter views work. We're also going to get into the f the I we're The fight with the government Biden's Alcohol Czar Even alcohols are? Is this prohibition? They're trying to say, guys, everything's so bad. Uh we're only gonna suggest uh two beer per week limit.
Yeah. I didn't vote for any alcohols. I didn't either, did you? Who pays this cat? Oh, we are.
We're the suckers that pay this cat.
So, we're going to talk about all of that. We got, I know, we got headlines on the way. And then later on, our friends over at the Babylon Bee, they're going to join us. They got a new book about it. It's very interesting.
It has it's illustrated, in case there's any queen you need further explanations, their book on gender. Keltech invented the concealed carry category years ago with the P11, but did they stop there? Heck no. One innovation just led to another and another and well just look at their latest. The P15.
It's the lightest, thinnest, double-stack 9mm handgun on the market at only 14 ounces and 7 eighth inches wide. The P15 has a 4 inch barrel and double stack magazine that holds 15 plus 1 total capacity. Its gator grip texture on the polymer version increases stability and makes for ambidextrous grip safety and easy accurate handling. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
Alright, so first up here. Memphis Walgreens is using classical music to drive away vagrants and ward off theft. But hear me out now: what if they're vagrants? And criminals who enjoy classical music. I mean, you know, classical music is just a wonderful genre and it does exceed all boundaries.
I'm just saying.
So that's what they're doing. They're dealing with petty crime and vagrancy issues.
So they're installing speakers and they're playing classical. All I know is that if I was a vagrant and I started hearing some Vivaldi, I think I'd stay longer and steal more.
So maybe rethink it. I'm just saying, rethink. They're using it in Chicago and LA. They're trying to deter loitering from homeless people who sometimes harass customers. Wait, wouldn't the music harass?
The customers too. Wait, I feel like there's a little bit of a right? Like you're saying, oh no, the customers enjoy. The classic. The music's supposed to calm the beast.
But not those dirty vagrants. You know what I mean? I don't know. I just got some questions. Nordstrom Rack and Macy's stores are ransacked by groups of thieves who apparently can't tell the Nordstrom rat from the regular Nordstrom, and they ransacked the wrong store.
They've made off with thousands of dollars worth of designer purses in California. Why is that the thing you go for? For real, why? I'm just, I'm curious about this. But of course, you know, they have these flash mobs, and then there's no justice because, you know, their DAs don't prosecute all this stuff.
Korean Air is soon gonna weigh passengers. And that's you're going to have to stand on a scale. To get on the plane, they don't care. They do not care in South Korea. They will weigh you and not feel a bit of remorse about it.

Lil Hang Junior, family tradition. It seems appropriate. Just slow the roll a little bit for you this Friday as we go into the weekend, 'cause y'all been in a tornado all week, or as my grandmother would say, a tornado. God rest your soul. Not kidding, she did it.
Daniel Lash here with you. Bottom of this first hour.
So, we're going to get into all this stuff. We're going to talk more about Georgia. We're going to talk more about 2024 and all that jazz coming up. I got some culture for you. But I just want to come back to this story.
Because Cain and I are a bit confused. Cain, sir. Pretty well. I'm confused by a couple of things, actually, with this one. How does one Get to be an alcohol czar.
Yeah, that was my first confusion. Is that like on LinkedIn? I think you're appointed. But then wouldn't you have to apply? For the job?
His name Is Dr. George Coobe? With a K. That's it, Koob? Or a consonant away, I'm telling you.
Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Coob's son, Cain. And They said that the USDA could revise their you know, 'cause they're Not content with making you have bad dishwasher soap. They're not content with telling you what kind of light bulbs to use in your house.
They're not content with telling you about what you can and cannot do and all this other stuff.
Now they want to revise their alcohol recommendations. to match the guidelines of America's hat. Which is Canada.
So I'm just wondering. Whew Who is you? Like, who is this guy? Where did this come from? come from?
Like, who's sitting around like, you know, times are really tough? And you've got Bidenomics to deal with. Everyone's broke. Fire's burning people up. Let's go ahead and have a talk about how much you drink in a week.
Da da d Did he Alcohol czar A Doctor Koob? And by the way, I got a cyber on this. Men, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna say something that might make somebody all mad. Dr. Koob admitted to enjoying a couple of glasses of Chardonnay a week.
Okay, full stop here. Full stop.
Some of you men out there enjoy yourselves a glass of wine, and that's fine. I get it. But there's certain things that men just like don't do publicly. You know what I mean? Like you don't do the splits publicly.
You don't Or privately. And you don't sit here and brag about drinking Chardonnay publicly. You just don't. That's not a thing that you do. I mean, what's next?
You're going to tell me that you're going to dress up in your fall Han solo wear with your leggings and Uggs and you're going to go get you a pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks? Like, what's next? Come on. Come on now. Ha ha ha.
Dr. Koob who said that he himself enjoys having a couple of glasses of Chardonnay night a week. He says that uh Yeah, you need to revise. Our alcohol. intake.
where people are advised to have just two drinks per week. Mm-hmm. Oh yeah, that's a week. Yeah, I some cases like per hour for some people.
So they said that per guidelines a drink is defined as condumb blah blah this is all boring. My eyes are gonna glaze over. Point six fluid ounces. It's equivalent to one beer. Uh one glass of wine at twelve percent alcohol or one shot.
Sounds like a George Thoroughgoods song, but I digress. And Asked in what direction said guidelines could change, Dr. Kub. The director For Nah. Which is the organization?
Have you heard of Na? Kane, you haven't heard of Nya? Uh-huh. Mm-hmm. It's interesting how it's It's the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcohol Alcoholism.
And he says that if alcohol consumption guidelines go in any direction, it would be towards America's hat. He didn't say America's hat, he said Canada.
So they're under review because our government doesn't have anything else to do. I mean, they just suck up our tax dollars like a giant welfare Hoover. And that's this is what they do. They sit around and they're like, how else can we just make people feel like they're living in hell? I know.
Now They had a major study from June that I don't care about. Talks about blah, blah, blah.
Something about Sir, I don't care about that either. I don't care. Google it if you're that concerned. I just think this is dumb. Like at what point are you g I'm waiting for the government to drop in and be like, okay, we're now going to give you the government our recommended guidelines for how many squares per bathroom use you should use.
I'm waiting. I feel like that day is coming, you know what I mean? It's like a a Seinfeld episode. How many squares? Can you spare a square?
I'm just waiting. But also And I just want to come back to this and I really don't care if it's offensive. I just don't really want to take Any health guidelines from a dude? Who's a Chardonnay fan? Is that mean?
Because I don't care. You're not hurt over it. I mean, Kane, you will en enjoy a glass of wine, but you don't talk about it. Yeah, no, I haven't had wine in a while. I don't I'm not against it, but I prefer scotch.
Mm-hmm. If I want to do any drinking at all. Yeah, you go and you're like, I would like approximately blank ounces of this. Yeah, has to be neat. You're like the guy.
You're the Scotch equivalent. Yeah. Of the dude who goes into Starbucks and is like, I would like a soy, no whip, oatmeal, SCOBY, nonsense, blah, blah, blah. Far from the truth.
So far from the truth. I'm just complimenting you on your knowledge of your friends. I sure didn't care. Because with coffee, it's just, I'm going to make fun of you. But with that, it's a compliment.
You feel like it. Yeah. That's that's it was just saying so I I I I don't know why they're why they're why why who hurt them? Who hurt these people?
So, just going to put that out there. I just think that that's, I'm not trusting any of that. All right, so I told you yesterday we had this headline 'cause it was coming up while we were on air. The Biden administration is suing SpaceX because The Biden administration are a bunch of barely sentient morons.
So SpaceX is following the law, right? You know, they deal with rockets and stuff. And it's actually can be classified as like weaponized tech. And so as of such, They have to be very careful on their hiring practices. And so the Biden people are like, we're a little upset.
That you guys are not hiring people who enter the country illegally. Because if there's people that should be dealing with weapons, And tech. Tech weapons and blowing stuff up in rockets, it's people who enter the country illegally. That's the argument that they're apparently making.
So they're suing the company. And they're trying to piggyback on some other stuff. Oh, look at these other abuses. And then someone accused someone of sexual harassment. And I just gotta say, like, some of the people that have been complaining about sexual harassment, I'm like, have you looked in a mirror?
Like, you wouldn't even harass you. Where's this coming from? It's Friday, and it's true, Kane, and you know it is. You're killing me. From September 2018 to May 2020, they routinely, oh, Kel Horor, they discouraged Asylees.
People who are illegally here. I love all these nice adjectives that they use. Everything but people who entered illegally from applying. and refused to hire or consider them. The Justice Department's very upset.
I feel like someone used to tell the Justice Department that, you know, there's a law about this already. It's pretty amazing. There's a law. that actually governs employment as it pertains Two weaponized stuff. You know what I'm saying?
Like you you gotta anything less than a green card and you're gonna you're you're gonna raise eyebrows.
So it's pick your poison. Who are they going to get in trouble with? It's like they're going to get trouble with one government agency over another. But furthermore, I don't think the government has any right to come in and be and complain about who you're hiring and who you're not hiring. You can hire whoever the hell you want to.
Who what is this about? This is SpaceX we're talking about. I get it if you're a company and you accept some government cash. You know, you're kind of opening the door. I will say, you know, for all the talk about Tesla, they got government money.
So they, you know, with something like Tesla, they might be opening the door for government busybodiness. But with this They said, oh, they wrongly claimed that federal regulations known as export control laws mean they could, even if I don't care, a private business can hire whoever the hell they want to, right? If you're running a business, Isn't it your prerogative who you want to hire? Whom you want to hire and whom you do not want to hire. Isn't that not?
I mean, what are you risking the biscuit for? You know what I'm saying? Like, you're doing all this stuff. You've your acumen has paid off thus far. Why is the government toddler stumping in here demanding To be able to tell you what you can and cannot do.
I'm made of questions here.
So they said that, oh, the SpaceX didn't consider. They didn't consider this.
So they're seeking civil penalties. and a a whole bunch of ridiculousness. I I in the me uh that's what they're focusing on. In the meantime, Piece from the New York Post, Biden's food stamp expansion is linked now to a 15% jump. in grocery pu prices.
Chee, Kane. No one ever saw this coming. A push by the Biden administration to increase food stamp benefits to the tune of a trillion dollars. Could be responsible for a 15% rise in prices at the grocery store, according to this watchdog report. Agriculture Department roll out rolled out these revised nutritional standard again, government telling you what you should and shouldn't eat.
They said that this is for SNAP though, that's that supplemental nutrition assistance program. And they said that um It's actually... Increasing fueling the rise in grocery prices and contributing to high inflation. Duh. Today and duh.
I mean, we all know this stuff. We warned that this is gonna happen, we warned that this is gonna happen. Of course, you also have a government that. created a bigger net for this. for this entitlement because of everything that they put people through for lockdown.
I'm saying.
Now, we have a few other things that we're going to be touching on before we've got two other hours on the way. You don't want to miss any of them because we've got Babylon B guys coming up. You know, they have a test in their new book. You can take a test to determine if you are a boy or a girl. I mean, it's all facetious, but it's It's absurdity to highlight absurdity.
And the crazy thing is is that You o it it's actually not it's almost like true right Except for the chicken queer tender. That was the thing that wasn't.
So we're gonna you'll learn about that later.
So we're going to get into that. We're also going to talk about How a Kentucky school district sent students home two weeks into the year because of a triple demic. They got COVID, flu, and strep. Revised headline. They got flu and strep.
So we're going to talk about that also. 2024 since we're finally in the primary season. The stage could shrink for the second debate, and it should. Otherwise, it's dumb. It is so dumb if it doesn't.
Nobody cares about it, nobody cares. You know, Doug Bergham, who got on the stage with gift cards, and Asha Hutchinson, nobody cares. Nobody cares. You're never gonna build up the name recognition. You're not even a stage ornament.
Get off the stage. We're gonna talk about that. We're also going to, we're going to get a whole bunch of other stuff as well, so you don't want to miss it as we get moving. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the United States. Catch the Danish show noon to 3 p.m. The reality is. We've managed thus far without. substantive support from Washington.
And despite the fact that this is a national, indeed an inherently federal issue. But New York has shouldered this burden for far too long. Since the first migrants began arriving at the Port Authority bus terminal last year, city and state have poured tremendous funds, billions of dollars and energy into helping them. The city has helped been helping by the state to manage this in partnership with our state legislature and in our budget we allocated over $1 billion, now upwards of $1.5 billion, for providing shelter. National Guard, public health.
Transit. Case management.
So that's New York Governor Kathy Hochul. She's complaining that the state has just for too long shouldered the burden of illegal immigration.
Well, why don't you come and check out Texas, where Texas has been? And not just Texas, but Arizona.
So many of these border states have been shouldering the burden of illegal immigration for far longer than New York has, and at far greater expense as well. And often with the meddling of the D O J. trying to even make it worse. I mean, that's you don't get to complain. You were a sanctuary state.
You advertised sanctuary. But as it turns out, these states that were advertising sanctuary, they weren't advertising sanctuary because they had it within their hearts to show compassion for people who they felt were in a bad position entering illegally. They did it as a way to advertise. It was political advertising, not to be taken literally. I don't even want to call it virtue signaling.
Although, really, ultimately, isn't that what virtue signaling is? You're trying to, it's false advertising. You're advertising, they were advertising something, a political stance about themselves that they were actually completely unwilling to fulfill. And they knew that at the time that they were doing all of this, that they were calling themselves a sanctuary state. They knew that at the time.
They were entirely unwilling to fulfill that role and still unwilling. They're completely fine with border towns. Middle class, and even some that are in a lower socioeconomic status. Border towns Assuming The majority of that burden. They don't care about the resources that are run through in those towns.
They don't care about any of that. You would think that, you know, New York is one of the highest taxed States they tax their people. More so, I think, almost than any other state. Maybe California and a couple of others, Illinois. They have a lot of taxes in New York.
Where does that tax money go? I mean, y'all were advertising yourselves as a sanctuary state. Here's your chance to prove your sanctuary. They can't do it. I mean, think back to when you had people that were trespassing.
I mean, you got armed cartel people that walk across private property there that borders the Rio all the time. And when you had lawmakers and a lot of them were Democrat mayors in these border towns asking for National Guard to come out. Oh no, the left couldn't possibly entertain that idea. But oh my gosh, you send fifty people who came into the country illegally up to Bougie Martha's Vineyard and what is the first damn thing those people did? They literally called in the National Guard.
Had to get them out of there. Those people weren't even they weren't even soles of the shoes on the ground in Martha's Vineyard longer than 24 hours. I didn't think they were there for a full 24 hours. But here's her chance to show Here's her chan her chance to show the sanctuary.
Alright, we got a lot more on the way. We got some new polling out. The 2024 stuff. We got Georgia, all kinds, and Carlos Santana. Yeah, he just went off on woke.
We'll talk about that. Stick with us. You got to do what you think is right. I believe in a culture of life. I was proud to sign the Heartbeat Bill.
I remember one of the most impactful moments of my life was when I heard the heartbeat of my oldest daughter in my wife's womb and then saw the sonograms of all three of my kids. What the Democrats are trying to do on this issue is wrong to allow abortion all the way up to the moment of birth. I know a lady in Florida named Penny. She survived multiple abortion attempts. She was left discarded in a pan.
Fortunately, her grandmother saved her and brought her to a different hospital. We're better than what the Democrats are selling. We are not going to allow abortion all the way up till birth, and we will hold them accountable for their extremism.
So that was at the debate, and there's news that people, the left was outraged over that, over what he said. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash here with you, Top of the Second Hour. That's Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. And he was talking to, he was discussing this at the debate.
And He brought up this story, as you heard, this woman named Penny. And uh The left just didn't want to believe it. He made it up. I have a I mean You can trust that when I say that there were a ton of headlines about him making this up, because I have them all saved. He only made it up.
He absolutely made it up. Can you believe this? I mean, they, they, the left was outraged. They, like, for instance, some of the stuff.
Some people were saying, Oh, DeSantis slash fetus left in a pan twenty twenty four. And they said, oh, he says he knows a woman named Penny, and it's the antithesis of how Biden views these stories with empathy. People were asking whether or not she existed. I mean they they just they I mean, it was trending for a little bit.
Well, guess what? Penny does exist. Not only does Penny exist, but here she is. She's absolutely real. And Audio Soundbite 9.
Meet Penny. He induced the abortion by giving my mother a shot. He looked at both my parents and he said, you do not want this baby to live. If it lives, it will be a burden on you all of your life. Before returning home, he looked at the nurse and he gave her orders to discard the baby dead or alive.
When I came into the world weighing 1 pound, 11 ounces, the nurse wrapped me in a face towel, placed me in a bedpan on the back porch of the clinic. My grandmother and my aunt Ruby came down to visit with my mother. My grandmother, later described by my father, went into orbit when she found out that I was alive. She was so upset about the circumstances that she contacted the local police. The nurse who cared for my mother volunteered to transport me to a morale hospital in Lakeland, Florida.
I finally did make it to Lakeland where I was placed under the care of Dr. Johnson. According to my father, he too did not think my life had value and that I needed to survive. I had pneumonia several times, my air turned copper red from the oxygen in the isolate. The nurses ended up naming me Penny because of the color of my hair and that is a name I still carry today.
And it turned out her parents ended up you know, completely regretting it. everything that you know they had decided at that point. And she had said that before her father had passed away, he looked at her and said, Honey, I don't know what I would have done without you. And she said, that she ended up having great parents no matter the circumstances they face surrounding her pregnancy.
So Penny is very real. And I think one of the things that the that the that the left does in trying to Deny that stories like this exist. And there are a ton of stories like this that exist. I mean, you realize that there are women and men who have traveled around the country speaking about it. Back during the Born Alive Infant Protection Act debate, and this was.
a debate about this bill that was coming up in the Senate. And it was brand new Senator Barack Obama who was on the floor railing against it. And the law was simply that if there is an infant that survives an abortion, you give them care. And the people who are arguing against that and this isn't an exaggeration because you can easily disprove me if it is. All this video of them debating about it exists on the Internet and the transcripts of their remarks.
They were arguing against that. They were saying that it, I mean, essentially it was coming down to an unnecessary action because it didn't matter if the life wasn't wanted. This was, you know, these men and women have traveled around the country. And have talked about surviving these things. And I think one of the reasons why the left is so insistent.
On pretending that these stories don't exist. is that It obscures The deception. that goes around the decision-making process in this. Think about this. The vast majority Of women who obtain abortions.
And again, this is all this is from the Guttmacher Institute, which is Planned Parenthood's own their own organization, their own system, that's their own statistical entity. The ma the vast majority of people who get abortions They're not young teenage girls. They're older women. They're older women who already have kids. There are older women who already have kids who either Don't want to deal with the interruption at work, or they feel like they already have too many kids, or they just don't.
It is. 99.9% birth control. That is not me coming up with that. Again, these are publicly available figures. And when you do have younger mothers.
Who Go through this. What these stories and the way that the left, when they ignore them, what it obscures is the. the choice i think that you are playing to a woman's Innermost worst insecurity. When you tell her that she cannot handle raising her own child. I don't know.
of a more sexist attack on a woman than that. And it is, it's sexist. We live in a society where women are told that you're empowered and we can do all these things and you can go, but all of those measures. have been taken from what men are measured by. And then they're applied to women.
And that's supposed to be the definition of female empowerment, which is weird to me because you're demanding that women perform just like men when women are different from men and we have our own gifts that men could never have and men have theirs that women couldn't have. But it It Plays on the worst insecurity of a woman. A woman is never more so vulnerable than, I think, when she's pregnant with the hormones and everything else, and you're constantly second-guessing yourself as a mother, and you're bringing a new life into this world. My gosh, you agonize over what you eat, how much sleep you get. Oh my gosh.
And especially if it's your first child. But what the left does is they tell women you're not strong enough to do this. That you're not capable enough to do this, that you're empowered only so much, that empowerment has a limit. and the very thing which your body was designed to do that you know how to do. Oh, no, you can't do that.
That's too far. How is that not shaming? How's that not sexist? And I don't blame her parents. I really don't.
The story of this woman, Penny. Can you imagine what they were being told? Think about it. You have this young couple. And They have no idea the health situation.
And it kind of depends, I think, on the morality of the doctor that you get. We're learning more and more about this as we have critical race theory and the culturally Marxist, Peter Singer-esque life is invaluable that is seeping through every facet of medical care and administration. You don't know what the morality set of that doctor is. I mean, who knows what they're being told? I mean, we know at least that they were oh, well, this per this child will be a burden to you all your life.
Oh my gosh, what a horrible if a doctor had told me that. I'd have punched him right in his jimmy. I kicked him in the Jimmy and kicked him in the neck. That's what I would have done. I'd have beat the hell out of him.
Pregnant or not. No, the burden are the people who place these fears and anxiety on these women and beat them down and emotionally abuse them and tell them that they're not strong enough to do this. That is reprehensible. It's sexist. It's predatory and it's disgusting.
But the media didn't want to acknowledge that Penny existed.
Now that she exists, guess what? Old man, they went quiet. I was looking at the headlines from after the debate till now. Y'all would not believe it. I mean, there were tons of headlines.
Oh, this woman doesn't exist. They were accusing you know, because they're used to Joe making everything up. I guess maybe that's what it is. They're used to Joe Biden literally just pulling stories out of his backside. Like the story that he talks about, he says, Oh, my wife was killed by a drunk driver.
His wife wasn't killed by a drunk driver. His wife ran a stop sign and ran into a truck. There were no criminal charges, and that's why the case was closed. The police filed no charges, and that's what the police deduced on scene. But what does Biden do?
He walks around and then makes up a story about his wife getting hit. and then defames this guy by saying he was a drunk driver. The guy's family, you know, they have a hell of a lot more grace than I do. They could have sued him for defamation. They did come out public and say it was hurtful that Joe Biden and his family were spreading these lies because that guy wasn't drunk at all.
Cops checked. Or how he sits here and talks about the nature of his son's death. How his older son, the nature of his death, and how he'll say, Oh, it was in Iraq.
Well, it wasn't. You know, he had a brain tumor, a horrible brain tumor. He wasn't killed in Iraq. I mean, that's the kind of stuff Biden says. He's like, oh, yeah, my son came home in a flag-drape car.
I mean, he says this stuff. I guess they're used to You know, Joe Biden making things up, or Hillary Clinton saying that she was named after this mountain climber who climbed a mountain like a decade after she was born. It's just weird. Why do they make this stuff up? It's the most bizarre thing ever.
But those headlines from after the debate till now. Night and day difference. Oh now there's none. Oh, they shut up about that real quick. They didn't have anything to say about that real fast.
That's interesting. Speaking of some of the lies, some of the 2020 stuff, some of the polling's out. I had a piece about this that came out last night, and I was looking at this very. Very clinically.
Now, like I said in the debate, I mean, I know who I wish the guy that I liked had I wish I kind of wanted to see a brawl, but I also understand the strategy of not having a brawl. You don't want to have every candidate up there looking like they're yelling. And I get his strategy is steady, you know, and all that. I wasn't talking about DeSantis. I will say Even though I have a preference in the primary, even the podiums themselves are better than Biden, right?
The cords for the microphones are better than Biden. Every object, everything on that stage, whether it had a pulse or not, is better than Biden.
So there's an interesting poll from 538, and I combed over this last night. It's a significant sample size. I think in total it was something like 6,000 something likely voters.
Now registered voters is preferred. Likely is second best.
So that's my caveat. There's there are two waves of it pre and post debate. And what 538 deduced? And remember, New York Times and 538 parted ways in 2016 because I get the. feeling they didn't like that 538 was was predicting a Trump victory in 2016.
So they said, who won and lost the debate? And they asked the debate viewers who performed the best and worst. I looked at the crosstabs, I looked at the questions that they asked, I looked at all of it. They said that. 29% believe DeSantis performed best.
26% Ramaswamy. Haley at 15, no other candidate received more than 7. They said Republicans are more likely than Independents believe that DeSantis performed best. Haley did better with Independents than Republicans. That was a 22 to 11.
They said that Who performed the worst? It was Chris Christie. And they also didn't really like Asha Hutchinson, and they didn't like Mike Pence. And interestingly enough, rounding that out was Ramaswamy.
So Consuming and then processing this, Ramaswamy's aggressiveness ended up being a negative to him. There's one thing to be aggressive, and there's another thing to be super aggressive. And he has not yet found that line. Uh I think they thought Mike Pence Waffled too much from being too milquetoast to too mean. They thought Christie was too mean.
They thought Haley, and again, these are independents. They thought Haley sounded knowledgeable and authoritative on foreign policy, and it was her dusted up with. Ramaswamy that I think helped at that.
So that was that was very and it's kind of what I anticipated I don't think that DeSantis pushed for showy moments. He had a couple of instances where he got aggressive, but he didn't damage himself. Haley and Pence overperformed. I do think that this debate effectively ended Temp Scott's candidacy.
So, where do they go from here? Because you're going to have to narrow the field at this point. You just can't. You can't have a giant field. That's actually end up helping Democrats a little bit more.
We're going to talk more about this.
We've got headlines on the way. Abolish the IRS, national reciprocity. She could go on forever, but she's only allowed three hours of the day on air to talk to you. Download the Dana Show podcast on your preferred podcast platform to take us with you wherever you go. The Dana Show.
And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
Alright, as we get moving, uh oddly specific. Uh hmm. August 24th is apparently America's sickest day of the year, and I have no idea why. Apparently, the late summer days when Americans call in sick the most on August 24th, researchers analyzed, this is the New York Post again, analyzed sick leave taken across U.S. businesses over the last five years and they say that there's seasonal peaks, but they do say that it's interesting to see that the sickest day of the year lies outside of normal flu seasons, which are expected in colder months.
They say it's a lot of it's post-summer fatigue.
Sometimes it's, you know, especially depending on the area in which you live in, like if you're in Texas and you got cedar.
So they said that, you know, this is something that employers brace for. That's weird. August 24th. That's just really weird to me. Let's see.
Holiday warning as cases of a deadly food bug that's causing paralysis. is detected in Spain. Yeah, it's several botulism cases in popular tourist hotspots from supermarket. They're saying a lot of it's like supermarket omelet, some of its toughest. They said apparently a bunch of Norwegians that were infected with botulism stayed in Barcelona between July 10th and 23rd.
And they said some of them required hospitalization and treatment. It's rare, but it is potentially fatal. And so they said that their Spanish food agency said that it was everywhere from Valencia, Madrid. They said infected food is widespread.
So I don't know. I just think if it, like, if your body is like this, it seems weird. Don't eat it. Don't eat it at all. And then the robo-taxis are making enemies as they go around San Francisco.
Still, they're still having problems with those things. Stick with us. Had to take care of some lefty trying to outsmart you in the Walmart parking lot and missed any portion of today's show. Download the latest Dana Show podcast on your preferred podcast platform. When God made you and me, Before we came out of the womb, the You know who you are and what you are.
Later on, when you grow up and you see things, And you start believing That you could be Something that It sounds good. But you know it ain't right. Because a woman is a woman and a man is a man. Carlos Santana. He made that.
He made that announcement at one of his shows, and he faced a lot of criticism. He also said he goes. He had mentioned, he goes, He goes, What do you want to do in the closet? Is your business? He goes, and then he said, mentioned his brother, Dave Chappelle.
He said that. He appear I mean Basically he was like, you know, he agrees with him. And of course you know the rage mob came. Of course. Of course they did.
You leave Carlos alone or I will kick all of you in the neck. You leave him alone. Don't you dare So they I so he actually issued a statement on his Facebook page. And I was really sad about this because I what did he say that was wrong? Nothing.
Nothing. He said nothing wrong. Just it nothing. Wha what I mean where's the lie?
So he Responded Posted a I feel like this was like his PR people making him do this. And he goes, quote, I am sorry for my insensitive comments. They're not, you know what's insensitive? The people who are mad at his comments. You're the insensitive one.
He says, They don't reflect what I want to honor and respect all persons' ideals and beliefs. I realize what I said hurt people, and that was my intent. I apologize to the transgender community and everyone I offended. No, Carlos, no it is not You were right Never apolog don't apologize for being right. Me actually mentioning science and real things was insensitive.
Now, my statement would be. You need to apologize for being insensitive to other people's viewpoints. That's that's what he should have said. I don't know. He's an older dude.
You know, and uh maybe he just didn't want the hassle. I don't know. But Why would you need to apologize for this? I mean, I it there's there's nothing wrong with it. What gets me is they go, here's the CNN piece.
The comments come during a record shattering year for anti LGBTQ legislation. Why are you getting the L G's and B's in this. L G's and B's ain't got nothing to do with this. These are the dudes who are trying to cosplay as chicks and go and f have pick a fight over what room they're gonna drop a deuce in. That it will stop.
But they I think that the trans community uses the gay community as a shield. And they try so badly to conflate. their activism. with the L G's and the B's. Cause I gotta be real with you.
I do not know a single gay American right or left. that actually agrees with the trans activism. None. And some of the people I know are are that I you know I'm civil with on the left. Who are gay do not embrace that.
It's wild. But I'm like, why aren't they allowed or like why aren't more Of the LGs and B's liar about it. I don't get that. I mean Kane thinks that the record label issued the apology. You do?
Do you think that sounded? I don't know if it sounded like him, man. I think he was forced to do it. Yeah, I think so. I mean, I heard back in 2021.
I don't know if he's still under this contract, but he signed a deal with BMG.
So. My guess is it was probably you know, ushered in by the label, the apology. I don't even know why he has to apologize for anything. There's nothing to apologize for. All of this is so dumb.
I mean, there's literally no reason for him to apply. And people were cheering it. They were cheering him. They're like, That's great, yay. You know, he's he's speaking actual truth.
You know, he's he's he's speak I mean, he's talking about science. When did science become wrong? I I And honestly, in some of the communities that they try to push this in, that's not going to go well for you. I go back to what was it, the. Was it the marriage thing in California?
Yeah, it was the marriage. It was Prop 8 or something like that. Remember when they were pushing prop eight in California? And they went after the uh Mormons? And it wasn't even really the Mormons, it was the black and Hispanic communities that actually voted.
like voted. They were the ones who were the most active against it. And but but when you're the left, what do you do? You're like, well, man, we can't go after the black and Hispanic communities because we have forever said that if you disagree with anyone black or Hispanic, that you're a racist.
So now if we go after them, we're racist. Who can we attack? Get the Mormons! Yeah. And the Mormons are like, what?
Yeah. That's exactly what happened. That's exactly what happened in California.
So just I don't I wish he hadn't apologized. I mean, he's an older dude. I I but, man, every time you bend that knee You make it harder for someone else to keep standing. And he had nothing to apologize for at all whatsoever. There was nothing insensitive.
He didn't say anything about, oh, I'm going to judge you for your position. That's the thing. The left believes that just the existence of disagreement means that you have judged and condemned their, whatever they want to do. Because they Live in this, their mindset is that they have to be involved in everyone else's life. You realize.
That you can have your own opinion about something without passing judgment on someone else's for having their opinion. The left has no concept of this. They do not understand this. They do not think that that is possible. They think that if you disagree with them, if you exist and you're disagreeing with them and your disagreement is existing, then that is a judgment and condemnation of what they are doing.
And you must be reckoned with. That's how they view this. Whereas people, normal people who just want to have a difference of opinion don't understand.
Well these why these busy bodies get all turned up about it. No one's telling you not to have an opinion. Just as TFU about yours all the time. Quit trying to shove it down our throats. We're tired of it.
I'm so tired, like you can't I'm just tired of all of it. Is there anywhere that you can go without being beat over the head with something politically? No everywhere. It's just it's egregious. A couple of other things.
You guys remember Fire Festival? They may they were okay, no you do. Uh, you remember the F Y R E Fire Festival? And didn't that guy get thrown in jail and all this stuff? That was the uh where they had all these influencers and they advertised this like really great festival.
Out in the Caribbean, and then all these people went out there, and it was basically like stale cheese sandwiches, and they were in these tents that blew away. Honestly, you know what I think it is? I think that whole story was so funny. It was hysterical. Was that not?
An absolute Statement. of culture. All these people see this stuff advertised. You got Instagram and you got real life. They see all this stuff advertised and they hired these models to come and they got on these power boats and they were jetting around in the like exumas or whatever.
Look at we're all gonna go to Fire Fest. Yay! We're gonna listen to all these awesome artists. Yay! And then when all these absolute morons purchased insanely priced tickets to go down there.
It was a disaster. And then didn't they get stranded? They were all stranded. It was a horrible thing.
So Billy McFarlane. The guy who got in trouble apparently at the first time. For this now he wants to really do it for real now. He wants to do Fire Festival 2. Is it is he a Democrat?
I don't know. It's like the Biden campaign. It's the Biden campaign is like the political fire fest. And apparently, what do they say? The tickets are, I can't believe it.
I hope it happens again, and y'all deserve it. That's all I'm gonna say. That's so dumb. It's so dumb. Just stop.
Just go and do it. Does it have to be influencer dripping with influencers? All our perfectly curated photos. Speaking of photos, I got to share this one with you. It's Friday, so go with me.
It's from the Daily Mail. Ooh. Ooh. We're still not there for Hallow we're almost in the season where I can buy my everyday products, Halloween season. And so the headline is a mysterious naked wolf man spotted in Germany's Haars mountain.
It's a mysterious wolf man. He's been spotted roaming around the woods in the Haars Mountains of central Germany. He's believed to li have lived in the forest for five years. He was captured on camera by two hikers, who reportedly saw him sitting naked and holding a wooden spear at the foot of a ruined castle. This is a real messed up.
Brothers Grimm Story. Gina Weiss and her friend Toby were walking in the Blinkenberg. Walking in Blankenberg in the state of Saxony-Anhalt as dusk fell on Tuesday evening. Oh man, this reporter really was taking liberties. Like you can tell this reporter.
Like I want to major on creative writing.
Okay, well, you have to make a living.
Okay, I guess I'll go into journalism. And by the way, Juan is dying because the photo is not censored.
So he's. Miss Miss Weiss told German newspaper Bild, When we reached the sand caves we saw the Wolfman. He stood up high on one of the caves and held a long wooden stick. like a lance in his arm. He wouldn't take his eyes off of us.
He said nothing. He looked dirty. like a Stone Age man from a history book. They said the encounter lasted for ten minutes, and he's thought to be in his forties. They call him Wolfman, even though he's totally not at all furry and not at all a canine.
One frightened walker called police officers in March, asking for help after spotting a wolf man running around. Why is it a Wolfman? I mean the dude's on his legs. He's got two of 'em. I mean, it's clearly a dude, right?
They So they said, you know, because there's a very dense forestry in Germany, about a third of it's covered by that.
So they said that they think maybe it was a prank, they don't know, but other people have said that they see they've seen him. I'm just saying.
Maybe it's Biden. Maybe that's where he is. It makes sense, right? I'm kind of kidding, but not really. We have more on the way.
We got a Florida man coming up. And then later on. And our third hour. Our friends over at the Babylon Beast, Seth Dylan and Joel Berry, join us. They have a new book about gender.
And uh It's actually pretty funny. And there's illustrations in it too, so you're gonna wanna get it. It's a fun read. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. Woo!
It's time for Florida Man.
So there's a monkey that likes uh it that's hanging around this fast food place in Florida and people keep keep taking pictures of it. Like, apparently, there's like a ton of people that have pictures of this things. The headline from Yahoo reads: Weird monkey sightings spread across Florida City. According to police, Uh one witness says, I knew I wasn't crazy. It's hysterical.
So they said that particularly He's apparently at around a chicken restaurant in Florida. One Popeye's career manager, Kimberly Bialibos. said that she got tons of photos of it. And I was, they think that it's not just one, they think that there are several. And they don't exactly know, because it didn't come from like an animal.
No animal sanctuary has reported them missing, no zoos reported them missing.
So they're wondering if it wasn't like a privately owned, like maybe a legally privately owned thing, and they escaped.
So they've been getting tons of calls though for in this area. They identify them, they look like. Reseus monkeys? And they said that There were some that lived there around the Silver Springs, Silver Springs State Park. About 175, and it was growing.
So they think maybe it's it's either something illegally owned that escaped, or maybe they just kind of came over from that area. But so far they don't They haven't like caused problems, but They're literally hanging out at the Popeyes. It's one of the funny you know what, my first thing was free pet. But I'd press so good. Don't do that.
Don't, because Florida, I'm going to get an email from Florida Fish and Wildlife. They're going to be like, we love your show, but don't tell people that. I'm joking. Don't, don't go. Don't go do that.
Um. Oh man, a naked man was ringing everybody's doorbells and trying to break in everybody's homes in one Florida County. He is man. And of course, you know, everybody's got those ring cameras or those doorbell cameras, right?
So this one, it uh Twenty three year old Giovanni Alakarez. Apparent I mean Naked as a day is born. Coming up. Ringing everybody's doorbells and apparently leaving explicit surprises on some of the cameras. Oh, I don't know about that.
The county sheriff, Marco Lopez, says he's waving his fanny at the doors. And people Look through their cameras. But here's the thing. They this is this is cracking me up, hang on. Because the guy is totally naked and he's doing this.
The cops are going, well, he's jumping fences and he's ground, he's crawling in the bushes, combat crawling, like he's everywhere.
So they said that That when they found him, he put up a fight so much so. that they had to hit him two times with a stun gun.
So now he's facing charge. Can you imagine this guy, like, you know, army crawling, trying to get away? Oh my gosh. So now he's facing. Charges of exposure of his sexual organs and resisting arrest.
And they noted, police noted that he's also fully dressed in a jail jumpsuit. I bet that makes the other inmates happy or some of them sad. I don't know. I really don't know. Let's see.
A Florida man arrested for DUI. My favorite are. My favorite stories are when people get arrested and then they have Just some very coincidental t-shirts on.
So this dude was arrested for DUI, right? He was driving three times over the legal limit. Oh, hang on, there's more. Yeah, three times over. They said that when he's an orange pickup truck, they said on August 16th, they just had a Marion County Sheriff's Office.
He was just doing radar enforcement, and this truck just barreled right past that. I mean, you could and the police were like, we were literally on the side of the roads. Like, you could see us like coming up from a mile away, you could see us. This guy didn't care. He was going 89 and a 45.
And they, when they arrested him and got him out of the car, they could smell alcohol. He was totally unsteady. But the shirt that he was wearing, ladies and gentlemen, Said in big giant letters. I'm the reason the beer's always gone. I know you're shocked that James Ricks, the man who was arrested, failed his sobriety exercises.
He is a, you know, he's a pleasant-looking mugshot.
So he was charged with the DUI and fleeing to elude. A law enforcement officer. And yes, he did it. And you can, in the body cam footage, they have. I'm the reason the beer is always got.
They had that in the. I I mean, just why? Why would you Bye. I can't. I can't.
And then this, I got a couple other ones here. Couple of other Florida man stories. That one I can't read. That's 'cause that's not we're we don't need uh anybody exposing themselves in a Walmart anymore. Uh they also had uh let's see here.
One guy who was pulled over at 1 a.m. to villages because he had a boom box attached to his golf cart. And he was playing music too loud. Oh, and then when they pulled him over. They found tons of meth.
I know you're. I'll save that one for you. Stay with us. We got another hour on the way. On gender that comes out in September.
Keltech invented the concealed carry category years ago with the P11, but did they stop there? Heck no. One innovation just led to another and another, and we'll just look at their latest. The P15. It's the lightest, thinnest, double-stack 9-millimeter handgun on the market at only 14 ounces and 7/8 inches wide.
The P15 has a 4-inch barrel and double-stack magazine that holds 15 plus 1 total capacity. Its gator grip texture on the polymer version increases stability and makes for ambidextrous grip safety and easy accurate handling. If you prefer a more vintage look, choose the metal version with classic wood panels and textured grips. The P15 has a tritium plus fiber optic front sight with a fully adjustable tritium 2-dot rear to keep you on target in any situation. Make the P15 your choice for concealed carry.

I didn't have anything. I have no idea. I lost my house. I lost my car. I lost my animals.
I mean, come on, man. We're not getting anything. Till today, I still didn't get my meds. I cannot get my meds yet. My medicine was all burnt in my house.
My rent money was all burnt in my house. I have no money anymore. I think Joe Biden should take his $700 and get back on the plane and go home. That's what I think. The $700 compared to all the millions is given to Ukraine.
Why? We need it. Um Oh, she's not wrong. That's a Lahaina resident. You're saying that Where I mean, we where are you?
Where have you been? Democrats are getting are getting hurt by this, and a lot of Hawaiian residents. From the stuff that I'm reading. They are not pleased that They're being overlooked. In all of this, and they, they, it's, I can imagine how frustrating it is.
I can't, I mean, nothing from this guy. He went there for a little bit, made a fell asleep during the thing and he left. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash here with you top of this first or third hour. And you can listen.
Across the country, you can also stream the radio program and you can watch the simulcasts. on Facebook, YouTube. channel 347 DirecTV coming up uh later on at the bottom of the hour. Seth Dillon, Joel Berry from The Babylon Bee. They're going to join us to talk about their book on gender.
It's a fun, facetious book. It's actually hysterical. And we're going to we'll get into it. You got to get it. It comes out in September.
So, this story with Maui gets worse, if you can believe it. You know, I was telling you earlier, I couldn't even actually read the whole story when I was reading about this family that found their son. burned to death, clutching the family dog burned to death. because they were blocked from going back and there were no sirens so nobody knew to leave, particularly elderly and children. And I couldn't even finish the story because I mean It was so shockingly horrific.
I don't know how. Um you have people in government who are not culpable. For a some of these fatalities here in Hawaii, and it gets worse, like I said. This is the Washington Post that wrote this. you know, the bastion of conservatism.
Washington Post. Wait until you hear this. They're accusing, well, they're writing about investigators accusing. The Utility company, remember? The electric company that did not listen.
to four years of studies? From forestry, from all these other experts, researchers, and scientists who were saying. You're gonna you've gotta check your your your Uh lines During these dry seasons, they're emitting sparks, etc. I mean, remember, this is the same company that ignored that.
Well now Apparently what's coming out is that they removed damaged poles, lines, and other equipment. from where the Lahaina fire reportedly started. Before investigators. could view the scene. They went in there, they're being accused of starting the fire because it's not climate change, and we've talked about this.
Climate change isn't, you know, like in Canada, they were warned again. By all these forestry experts and these forestry conservationists, they're like, you basically have a kindling that's built up. You're not clearing out brush, you're not conducting good forest management. You've got to do this. And then they didn't do it.
And then what happened? Same thing with here. Same thing with the California wildfires. California, I mean, in fact, I mean, they make it, their laws make it almost impossible to do good lane management.
So they were accusing this utility. They're like, you were warned about this. There's documentation that supports this too. There have been surveys that have been made publicly available from, like I said, even four years ago, that support this.
So you have this freak? Combination of your regular dry period, and then you have this hurricane that ends up coming up, and then you got these hurricane force winds, and then the sparks from this power. I mean, it just all. It all makes for a horrible situation.
So but they're saying that this Hawaiian power utility got in there and basically removed evidence. from how the ballet started. before any investigators were able to get there and look. Hawaiian Electric. Said they were hauling away fallen poles, power lines, transformers, conductors, and all kinds of stuff near the substation where they believe it started.
They said that it looks like they violated national guidelines on how utilities should handle and preserve evidence after a wildfire, and it deprived investigators from any opportunity to view any polls or downed lines in an undisturbed condition before or after the fire started, according to court documents. The Director of Climate and Energy Policy at Stanford. Michael Wara said, If a lot of equipment is already moved, by the time they show up, I mean, you have to observe where the equipment was relative to the ignition site. He goes, because it's a lot makes it a lot harder to understand what happened, obviously.
So Hawaiian Electric spokesperson Darren Pai said the company was, oh, we're just in regular communication with local authorities and we're cooperating. We carefully documented this stuff. We photographed it and documented it. That's what we did. You can trust us.
And It's interesting because they had to bring the ATF in on this. They wrote the ATF because they you know, usually they deal with bombings and shootings. This is the agency's third wildland fire investigation per Wapo. Usually US 4 Service Serves that role, but since the Maui fires did not take place on any national forest lands. They have to have ATF be the federal investigative force, which is weird.
So they're still investigating it. The evidence suggests that it was Hawaiian Electric's wind damaged equipment. They had damaged equipment that was sending sparks onto dry overgrown vegetation around its poles. And They did not shut off their power before all of these high winds began, as they were told to. And now they have nine lawsuits and probably more against them from their role in sparking this wildfire.
One of them was filed Thursday. They're suing them for quote inexcusably Not shutting the power off, despite being aware that high winds were coming, not maintaining the equipment. And making sure that it didn't get overrun with vegetation so that there wouldn't be a fire. I mean, this is just, it gets just, it keeps getting worse. And they didn't preserve any of the evidence.
Do you do you trust them, you know, the people who ignored? All the investigators, can you trust them to take pictures and document all this, don't you? You don't trust Toby and Electric what? No. They said none of the experts had any chance to review any physical evidence.
So they're living. And I mean, the authorities are livid over this. The investigators are livid over this. I mean, you have an entire town and hundreds of people, entire town got hundreds of people dead missing. I I I mean it's it's it's it is unbelievable.
But This is how Again, poor administration. One of the other things, I can't even believe this is a real story. But it is Chicago is now because they have such a problem with auto theft. They want to sue automakers. Over cars being stolen.
So they have A super high rate of like carjackings, automotive theft. In fact, they had, I think it's, I mean, it's doubled, more than doubled in the past three years. It went from like 9,000 to 21,000. Kias and Hyundai's are the are apparently the most popular. Because they said that they're easy to break into.
So you know the new mayor, Brandon Johnson. He's decided. Instead of going after the criminal gangs that are carrying this out, because it's very organized. He is suing Keeh and Hyundai. saying that your damn cars are too easy to steal.
So we're suing you. Yeah. Mm-hmm. from Hulierosis. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson announced Thursday the city is suing Kia and Hyundai for their, quote, failure to include the industry standard engine immobilizers in their vehicles, which is the reason for the high rate of crimes involving their cars.
They said the impact of car theft on Chicago residents is deeply destabilizing, and the failure of Key and Hyundai to base to install auto theft prevention technology is sheer negligence.
So it's not the criminal's fault. for stealing these cars. It's the automaker's fault. for not making their cars unstealable. Can you okay?
I'm just seeing this as a tactic that they used for gun manufacturers as well. Oh, yes, that's what they do. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Now see the They've had national highway traffic safety.
requirements since like 2016 where they You have American cars that include some anti-theft tech, but you also have to include exemptions to allow. these automotive these auto manufacturers to Not include that feature on some of their more affordable lines because when you have this stuff, I mean, it drives up the cost. A certain anti-tech theft, I mean, drives up the cost of the car. I mean, has this dude ever bought a car? It's not here.
Here's the problem, and this is going to be shocking. I realize. Maybe. Maybe. The problem Isn't that there are Too many.
uh kias and hyundai's that you can steal. Maybe. Roll with me here. Maybe the problem is you got too many damn car thieves. Why I mean, really.
Do you know in Chicago Is this from Town Hall and Wire Points. They actually removed You can't prosecute juveniles who steal cars. You can't prosecute them as felons.
So they're under 18, they steal a car. You can't prosecute them for felonies. They removed that. You can't do that in Chicago.
So what does that mean? They they get in trouble. Cain, where do they go? After they get in trouble, then they're. Get from jail?
No, they go back out on the street. It's really hoping. You were hoping for jail, I know. But Kane, no one wants you to be smart. You gotta be stupid.
Yeah, there you go.
So it's is anybody shocked that they've had carjackings and auto theft go from 9,000 to 21,000? legit in a s like every year.
Now in the past three years it d it more than doubled. And Chicago PD only I don't even think they get ten percent of the cars back when they go out to recover them. It's not Kia and Hyundai that are responsible. I mean, it's the car thieves. Maybe you should prosecute your car thieves, you jackwagon.
Maybe you should do that. Yeah. Maybe they'll issue a, you know, please don't steal cars between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Like they were asking, please don't do murdering. During work hours, can you please save your murdering until after work hours have concluded? Thank you so much. Ooh, also, just another little quick request: can you maybe only steal the cars after hours and don't steal the cars during work hours? That would help us so much.
Thank you. That's Chicago. That's Chicago. We got more to come. We got headlines on the way.
Babylon B guys, join us at the bottom of the hour for their new book. Keltech invented the concealed carry category years ago with the P11, but did they stop there? Heck no. One innovation just led to another and another, and we'll just look at their latest. The P15.

Next order of gear and accessories at Keltechweapons.com. That's K-E-L-T-E-C-Weapons.com. And now, all of the news you would probably miss, it's time for Dana's Quick Five.
So fired Ukrainian prosecutor Victor Shokin says, yes, Joe and Hunter Biden did take bribes, and they're behind his ousting. Isn't that corruption alone? He says a preview of a bombshell interview that he gave is now out on the Webernuts. He says, absolutely, they were bribed. Absolutely, he was selling his influence.
Very interesting.
Of course, we all kind of knew this, didn't we? Paper straws contain toxic chemicals that they say are just as bad as plastic.
So you want to know funny, something funny? This is a study that I don't care about, but we always knew about it. I will pack a straw if I know that, just in case. I always have a straw with me, because if I get a paper straw, I'm going to throw it across the room. It's garbage.
It's true. You guys know it. This is like redefining Porch Pirate. A man. Didn't just steal a package from his neighbor's front porch in Georgia.
He stole his neighbor's front porch. True story. W A G A T V The accused actual whole literal porch thief, identified as Robin Swanger, he ignored multiple trespassing signs, entered his neighbor's property, and stole a whole wooden porch. It's a full eight by 10 porch. And then he kept going, oh, well, apparently his defense was, well, it looked abandoned.
It really didn't, though, but okay, you know, it didn't really. And in fact, they had like no trespassing signs everywhere.
So he's been charged with a couple of things. This is in addition to a felony charge. He's got domestic violence counts, and then he's got the actual whole porch. Theft. I just, I'm curious as what motivates someone to steal a whole porch, like an actual whole porch.
I don't know. An airline passenger mistakes her pepper spray for hand lotion and forces an emergency landing. Yes, a very stupid passenger from Miami to New York. They had to make an emergency landing because she gassed everybody in the damn cabin with pepper spray. She Was on a plane, and I apparently, after she thought it was, I mean, you look at it, right?
Don't you look at it before you do it? I'm just saying.
She admitted, she said it was just an accident. They had to touch down because people were coughing and gagging in the cabin. They couldn't see. It was all chaos. Her and her teenage son were escorted off the aircraft.
Other people who say they were aboard the plane, They claim that it was no accident, that the family who did it were playing with it and they were trying to shoot each other from across the aisle.
So I don't even know how they got the pepper spray on the plane because you can't produce TSA. You can't bring that on the plane.
So I don't even know how. A Vietnamese man was arrested for driving a power wheel in the street while intoxicated. Or not Vietnamese man, sorry, Vincennes man was, this is in Indiana, driving a toy car, drunk as a skunk, down the middle of the road. They said he had no lights or reflectors. Oh, is that all?
Just the power wheels. Folks, we got the Babylon B next. There's two other people on set with me. This has never happened. I love how we just go away and we come back and boom.
There's two other people here on set. This is the first time we've ever had more than just two people, the third time ever that we've had guests in studio. And we're doing it because it's a special thing.
So, first off, you guys all know, you guys are all familiar with the Babylon Bee, right? It's one of the funniest, I think, entities. You guys are fake news. You get fact-checked all the time. They're hysterical.
They have a new book out as well, and I've been reading it and it's a riot. It's actually, and I'm going to ask you guys about this. It's sort of patterned almost after a Bible study. It's the Babylon Bee Guide to Gender. Oh, there we go.
Juan in coming in clutch. Thank you, Juan. And we're here with Seth Dillon and Joel Berry. And thank you guys so much. First off, welcome to Texas.
Not your first time here. Really sorry about the heat. Not my fault. Congrats on the book, though. Thank you.
Thank you. It's good to be here.
So let's talk about this a little bit because it's the comprehensive handbook to men, women, and millions of new genders we just made up.
Now, we have had so many problems on this show because, like, every week there's a new gender that is introduced. And, for instance, one of the ones before we got started, you guys referenced this in the book, the whole two-spirit thing. I don't even know what that means. Doesn't it suggest like a binary? I don't know.
And for those of you who like pictures, there's, I mean, it is also a book with pictures, so it's amazing. But tell me about this because.
Well, the more illustrations you use, the fewer words you have to write. Exactly. I mean, it's satire, but it's true. Yeah. It's true.
So the two-spirit, I don't even know what this means. You split yourself into? Like, what is that? What is two-spirit? Yeah, we're just as confused about this as you are.
Well, it's good that you wrote the book on it then, yeah. But the funny thing about it is you don't have to do a whole lot of work to write something that comes across as really funny and satirical. What we did was when we wanted to write this book, we said, let's write a leftist book. Let's think like a leftist and let's kind of basically give this straight straight version of what they believe with a few exaggerations, of course. And it turns out it's really funny.
You don't have to do much work. No, you don't. I mean, you use icons that we've seen, like some of the screaming progressives, or some of like, for instance, the you say furry, you can be beta or warke, put doggy food under the box and stick trap. I don't even, we got to talk about the chicken Tinderqueer, which I have been joking. That's going to be my new Twitter name.
But I mean, it's not, it's absurd. I mean, it's absurd. Absurdity to highlight absurdity, but that's what we're being asked to accept as science. And if we don't, I mean, in some instances, you can actually be fined, you can lose your job. I mean, there's serious penalties for not believing in this.
Science is a good point to bring up because that's why this book was necessary.
So, before science, everybody was a bigot and an idiot, right?
So, we all thought there were just men and women, which was extremely ignorant and rude and awful and basically evil.
So, but then science was invented, and we learned that men can get pregnant and that women can suffer testicle injuries. Right. And so, once science told us that, it opened up this whole new opportunity to explore the infinite gender spectrum. That makes so much nonsense. Yeah, just total, total nonsense.
So, this, because you, I mean, it's, I just wanted to touch on some of the things you get into, there's a test I know that you can take. You also have the commandments of gender. Like, you can't dead name, you're a god, don't forget it because gods don't forget things. That it does create like a special class of people who cannot be disagreed with. Yeah.
Yeah, and we did the religious kind of feel of the book is not an accident because what we're looking at with gender ideology is a religion. This is a hate image. It's on a tablet like the one that Moses had. You guys are going to be in trouble now. Yeah, yeah.
It's as old as time. I mean, it goes back to Lucifer saying, I'm going to be like the Most High. I'm going to be like God. And that's what this is. It's people saying that God doesn't define who I am.
My Creator doesn't define who I am. I do. And when people get into that mindset, hilarity ensues.
So you just kind of laugh at it. You have a guide in here. We're talking to the guys from Babylon B, their new book, Gender, the Comprehensive Handbook to Men, Women, and Millions of New Genders that we just made up. Or did they? We're talking with Seth Dylan and Joel Berry.
You also have a guide for what men can do and what women can't do. And men, for instance, you know, you give the example that men cannot do the splits. Cannot or should not. Both. Yeah, we had a lot of fun with the other thing that you'll find a lot of in this book is just the classic man versus woman humor.
I think that kind of comedy has really been lost because there's this enmity, I think, between the sexes now. And we're all men, we're married, we really love our wives, and there's so much comedy that comes out of the differences between men and women.
So we were glad we were able to put that. We have an entire chapter on men, an entire chapter on women. And that was a blast.
So I think those were my two favorite chapters to write. You touched on something, the humor that just naturally arises between the differences with the men and women. And I mean, it's fun to kind of just joke about it. Like, for instance, in our house, we have this thing with the thermostat. Like it is, I don't know what it is with dudes and thermostats.
It's like once you all get a home that's like your territory. Like I'm not near, I can't go near power tools. That's a no-go because I don't like to measure things. I just want to hang it on the wall and I'll just hammer something. That's a horrible.
I know you guys are dying inside. The thermostat, if I touch it, Immediately, there's like a silent alarm that goes off somewhere. My husband knows, has to come in with all urgency to correct my mistake. But it's funny to kind of, you know, I can sense it within 15 minutes or so. Yeah.
My wife has touched a thermostat. I know.
I know.
I'm getting alerts on my phone. It's a common thing with couples. I don't know why, but it just is. And I mean, it's funny to talk about it, but I don't know why so many things have been rendered taboo because who gets their feelings hurt by stuff like this? I don't get it.
Yeah, I want to add to that too. If you're a man and you're not territorial about the thermodynamics, you should probably schedule the surgery. But yeah, I think it's weird. The way culture is going right now, there is this growing rift between men and women that's really troubling. And when you love women, when women love men, you can kind of joke about things.
That's what makes a healthy culture, I think. When you can make fun of different people groups, make fun of the other sex, it builds camaraderie. You also talk about how to attract for women a man or how men can attract women. As expert. We're all experts in attracting women at the Babylon B.
Well, really honestly, I think people need to be taught that anymore. Really? Because think about it. I mean, there's just this phenomenon that's happening. I don't know if it's lockdown or if it's a combination of lockdown and all of the, you know, this cultural warfare.
But one of the things that I hear most from, like, whether it's, you know, my own kids or their friends, is that they're almost like terrified to get out there and be who they are when they're dating women. Like, you don't want to reveal too much. You don't want to, you want to, it's like, it seems like it's going slower than it ever has. I mean, I don't know. Do you know what I mean by this?
It's without getting them in trouble or without saying too much about them. But it's harder, I think, for young adults today because I mean, guys have to always be on guard. Women have to always be on guard. You don't want to be falsely accused of anything. You don't want to find yourself in a predicament where you're trying to do the gentlemanly thing and escort someone home and then get accused.
I mean, there's a lot of fear out there now that there wasn't when we were younger. Yeah, and we're also more disconnected. You know, dating is all done on apps now, and I feel very fortunate to have kind of slipped in under the door and gotten married before that whole new dating scene that we're facing where you actually had to, you know, talk to women over there. Not that I'm good at it, but you have to do it.
So, yeah, I don't know what's coming next for the next generation. I worry for them sometimes. They need this book. Yeah, they do need this book. We're talking with the guys from Babylon B, Seth Dillon, and Joel Berry.
I wanted to ask you guys, I'm going to take it back to kind of some of the things that we were talking about and as it relates to what you do and pop culture and Christianity. But I wanted to ask you about the debate. We were talking about this, the first big O. I don't know. I can't say octagon.
That's UFC trademark.
So parallelogram, probably or trapezoid. But what did you guys make of the debate? And we were all talking. We wish kind of there would have been a little bit more discussion about abortion. I feel like the Republican Party is terrified to talk about this.
Yeah, I mean I don't know how to evaluate these debates. The format doesn't make any sense to me. They only give them like seconds to respond to things, and then they start yelling at them if they go over time. And then they start bickering with each other, have no control over it. I think generally the people who win these debates are the ones who attract the most attention to themselves and get the other candidates on the stage to attack them or respond to them.
You saw a lot of Vivek and Pence going at each other, so they were attracting a lot of attention to themselves. The most awake, I saw Pence. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If I was a fly on his head, I probably would have flown off. He was moving around so much and getting so heated.
I don't know. I have a hard time evaluating who won. I don't know that I can say who won. It's whoever you're talking about the day after, I guess, the most is probably who won, whether for good or bad, because they're getting the most publicity out of it. But with the issues themselves, like wokeness and the gender stuff that we're talking about in this book, was absent from the discussion, which I thought was really interesting because that is like the cultural issue right now of our time.
That parents, voters, are so worked. Up about. And we didn't even hear from the candidates on that stuff. And it's a winning issue, too. I don't understand why they wouldn't.
Not abortion is another thing, which I, you know, there it did seem like they were very scared to draw a hard line in the sand when it came to abortion. But when it comes to school and what is happening to kids with gender ideology in school, that's something that should have been driven home a lot more, I think. Yeah, I think so as well. And when you have two candidates on stage, one guy who wrote a book on it and the other guy who made it kind of this cultural spear point, and I think attracted a lot of independents and moderates, especially when with the lockdowns and with the CRT in schools, you're right, that is a huge, that's a major winning issue. And it was pretty much absent.
But they did ask about UFOs. There was that. There was that issue. Maybe Fox had something to do with how they tabled those questions and didn't want them coming up in the debate. I don't know who's deciding what issues we try to avoid.
The abortion question, though, too, because there's some states that. have like six-week ban, some have 15. I think the national poll-in on this is most Americans oppose after 15 weeks. It seems with Republicans, it's not an issue of they disagree on life, but it seems more like an issue of disagreement on strategy, whether it's at the federal level or state level. But do you get the sense that those who think it should be at the state level, like they're terrified of being called pro-abortion if they don't agree to a federal level?
I just, I feel like they're terrified to speak, but we all know that they're on the same page. I think they're terrified because so many people who are solidly in the pro-life camp. Yeah. Their position is that abortion is murder. Yes.
And if abortion is murder, then when you're talking about murder and you're saying, oh, you know, let the states decide whether or not that should be something we do. I mean, if you're going to apply the word murder to it, then it really shouldn't, should it really be something that's up for debate at the state level? Yeah. That might be one of the things that's a hang up for them. And I think, too, that, I mean, we've been chasing Roe v.
Wade for 50 years. That's been our one target, our one strategy. And now it's a completely different world. And I think it's probably going to take a few years of adjustment to figure out what the next step is for the pro-life movement. I think that it, do you think it's a message that can resonate?
Because with moderates and independents, I feel like we're talking more about that demographic than any election prior. I get the sense that some in the GOP think, oh, I don't know if that message is going to resonate with that. I think it does. I mean, look at Florida. I mean, they went out with the six week.
They were very strong with pro-life language, and they got a lot of non-traditional Republican voters. I think, ironically, if one candidate had been bold enough last night to say, Abortion is murder. Just say those words. I think that would have helped them. They were all afraid to say that.
It would have, I think it definitely would have shaped that, reshaped that for sure. For sure. You might have heard me on Rush Limbaugh's show where I was a regular fill-in for about eight years. I now do a show out of the high mountains of Free America because, you know, I got exiled from Seattle. Since 2002, groups have been warning that Maui was going to burn down the conditions, environmental, because they stopped irrigating it.
Because why grow sugarcane? You know, when you can sell hotel rooms, why irrigate a mountain? Check out the Todd Herman Show every day on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome back. We are here with The Babylon Bee Through.
We're here with Joel Berry and Seth Dillon. Their new book, Babylon Bee Guide to Gender. Which I have right there. There's one throwing it up. I wanted to ask you guys a quick question as we wrap today, this third hour.
Satire, politics, and Christianity. A lot of people, I feel, are afraid to get involved in the political not everything has to be a political fight. How do you, because you guys obviously, we're Christians, you guys are a Christian website, and that's the perspective through which you approach your content. Talk a little bit about that, because how can Christians go about in the political world with their faith?
Well, it's a challenging thing because mockery, when you're bringing mockery to these ideas, you get pushback from people who are saying, well, Christians shouldn't do that. It's mean or it's cruel, you know, because you're making fun of people. But from our perspective, you know, the Christian worldview applied to these issues, you can certainly use humor if the purpose of it, what you're trying to do, is attack these bad ideas. You know, you're not trying to make people feel bad about themselves. You're trying to.
You're trying to ridicule and mock and expose these ideas for what they are, so that people don't take them seriously. The reason a book like this is necessary is because people took these insane ideas seriously. You go to healthline.com and it says men can get pregnant. I mean, that's insane. And so, you know, pushing back on that and making fun of that is not an attack on a person.
And in fact, I think we have like a moral imperative to do that as Christians and bring the truth into the culture through humor that way. And we see ourselves kind of as in following the tradition of the Old Testament prophets who mocked idolatry. If you look at some of Isaiah's writings, Jeremiah. Oh, we're every bit as important as them. Yes.
Not quite, but they made fun, they cracked jokes about idols and Elisha making fun of the prophets of Baal. I think that's what we're seeing now: we're seeing kind of a new religion forming around this awokeness idea. They have their own sacred cows, their own idols that they bow to, and it's fun to mock them. That's a really good point because there's so many that I think they want to speak out, but they also don't want to feel as though they are. crossing any kind of line that they they don't they because they realize that by as Christians that they are an example and they don't want people to look poorly upon you know they don't want people to judge the faith by what they're doing exactly there's pressure to be tolerant and compassionate but but you're not helping anybody by tolerating ideas that result in children being sterilized and mutilated right that's not something you should tolerate so there have to be lines there's certainly things that we should be intolerant of and deciding what those are that's that's the important thing right now right and so what we've done is we've taken humor and used that as a tool to to attack those things that we think shouldn't be tolerated well and the book goes on sale in september correct and it's the babylon bee guide to gender right here guys it's it's it's informative it's funny there are pictures we love that all kinds of good things seth illen seth joel thank you guys so much i appreciate you guys coming to that sorry about the heat again congrats on the book and appreciate what you guys do over at the babylon bee as well
