The Trump administration's handling of sensitive information on the Signal app has raised concerns about national security, with the release of a text chain discussing a plan to attack Houthi rebels. The controversy has sparked a debate about the role of NATO and the US's involvement in international conflicts, with some questioning whether the US should prioritize its own borders over global security. Meanwhile, the Russia-Ukraine talks have made marginal progress, with Russia seeking compensation in exchange for a ceasefire in the Black Sea.

From the Fox News Radio Studios in Midtown Manhattan, it's the fastest growing radio talk show. Brian. In Kill Mead. Hi, everyone. Welcome to the latest moments of the Brian Kill Me Show.

I'm glad you're there. A lot going on today. We just got the full story that Peter Goldberg got from, that it did not publish. Holy published the first half. He said, I kept sensitive information about warplanes out, plans out.

Mike Waltz, as well as, you know, Peter Hagset, the people involved, says there was nothing, there were no war plans on this.

So they released the rest. Sandra Smith and I are on Fox and Friends filling in for Ainsley. Sandra's going to do her show beginning at 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock today. And we just got this 15, 20 minutes ago, and we're trying to make sense of it. We talked about it on the air.

It's about, you know, we got about 12, 15 pages to go through. Sandra, first off, great to see you again. It's been 10 minutes. But your thoughts about what we've seen so far.

Well, so I reached out to Caroline Levitt, the White House press secretary, who's going to be briefing at 1 o'clock Eastern time today. Obviously, this will be a highly anticipated briefing. With a lot of questions about this, but she has immediately thrown cold water on this new Atlantic story titled, Here are the Attack Plans that Trump advisors shared on Signal. She says the Atlantic has conceded these were not war plans, in quotations, war plans. This entire story was another hoax written by a Trump hater who is well known for his sensationalist spin.

So now we have to ask ourselves, is this spin? She's basically making the case, these are not war plans. The Atlantic piece is titling them attack plans and big questions over whether or not this was highly sensitive or classified information. If it was, it should have never been published. But in the piece, the journalist does say he reached out to the White House to say, because your national security advisor, because your Department of Defense, your Defense Secretary, said that this was not the case, that these were not classified, then I.

I should be able to release them. He obviously made the White House aware he was going to release them. And it appears that the White House didn't stop him. I mean, you have to think the White House knew this was going to happen.

So they've been published, which would say the White House is. Confirming they're not classified. But. It's a timeline. There's nothing.

There's definitely a timeline. I mean, they just say, they say, okay, at 11.44 Eastern Time, Hagseth posted on the chat, all in CAPS team update. The next Beneath the Time Now, 11.44, weather is favorable. Just confirmed with CENCOM. We're a go for the mission.

SendCom or Send Command. Is this okay? They just give it. 12.15 F-18's launch, first strike package, 13.45, trigger F-15 strike launch, 14.10, the FTNT, F-18 launch again.

So they do have a timeline, 2 o'clock. Waltz responded, typing too fast because it looks like the vice president couldn't understand what Waltz meant.

So they talk about the exchanges happening during the attack. What's classified, what's not. It's been a couple of weeks since the actual attack.

Well, something stands out to me as I read through the timeline here, and that is that Waltz, the National Security Advisor, speaking to Hagseth at 2 p.m., responded, typing too fast the first turn. Target, their top missile guy. We had a positive idea of him walking into his girlfriend's building and it's now collapsed. To which the vice president J.D. Vance responded a minute later: excellent.

35 minutes after that, Ratcliffe jumps in, the CIA director. A good start, he writes, which Waltz followed with a text containing a fist emoji, an American flag emoji, and a fire emoji.

Okay, so typing too fast, sometimes you.

Sometimes you type fast, and I think that's a big part of what we're wondering: whether or not. Maybe Because he's owned that he started this chat, this chat room on an encrypted app. Did he do it hastily? And did he accidentally plug in this journalist? Although he's maintained that he's never spoken to him before and did not have his contact in his phone, which is why he suggested maybe that journalist's phone number was behind someone else's name that he meant to have in the room.

I would say, after talking to him last night, there's no way, yeah, Mike Waltz says, no way. He had it in his phone. He goes, Never met him. I would never have it in my phone. It's no way.

And then you have to physically trans. You have to physically transport your contacts. It's not going from your phone to signal. You have to physically decide what is gonna carry over. I don't think there's any way it was intentionally done.

I'm personally not sure, my viv, he didn't say this. how much he actually did and how much his assistant did or his uh Somebody in his well, and to be sure, he's not the journalist. He takes responsibility. The journalist Goldberg isn't stepping up and saying, Oh, no, I know these guys. I've talked to them before.

They would have my number. He's not saying that. Yeah, he just says something to the effect of I met Mike Waltz before. But Mike's wasn't. We haven't shared, he didn't say we have shared contact information.

So you heard from Mike Waltz last night when he was talking to Laura Ingram that they are investigating, quote, how the heck he got into this room. You'd hope that something turns up pretty quickly here. They say Elon Musk and all his expert tech guys are on the case. You know, a huge question is, and Mike Wall said he couldn't answer this last night: who did he intend to have in the room? And when was the last time he communicated with him?

Because the last time he communicated with him was the correct number behind him. I would say this. There is a person that he wanted on there with those initials. And when he saw that person in the hall, He asked him, he referenced something about this text chain, and he said, I don't know what you're talking about. I wasn't on that.

He listened to Mike Wells last night, Cut Five.

Okay, staffer wasn't responsible, and look, I take full responsibility. I built the group. My job is to make sure everything's coordinated. How do you execute? I mean, I don't mean to be pedantic here, but how did the number of people?

Have you ever had somebody's contact that shows their name and then you have somebody else? Oh, I never make those mistakes. Right? You've got somebody else's number on someone else's contact.

So, of course, I didn't see this loser in the group. It looked like someone else.

Now, whether he did it deliberately or it happened in some other technical mean is something we're trying to figure out.

So, I mean, we'll see that they wanted this story to be over. I think the minute they were challenged by Waltz and were really by Pete, Secretary of Defense Segseth, that there is no sensitive war plans on there. I think that that put the pressure on the Atlantic to come out with the rest of it. Don't you agree? No classified war plans.

I think anybody can make the case that this is sensitive information. Right. Classified, obviously, would be a completely different designation. And the journalists would be breaking the law to even publish them. But because the White House and the security team has been insistent that they're not classified, he felt like he could go to them and say, okay, then I'm going to publish them.

So I don't think anybody thinks it's a great thing that this all is getting out there. You know, Walt has said they're embarrassed. He's owning up to this is on him. He started the chat. But we better as heck get to the bottom of this.

And we need to decide as a country is sensitive information like this best exchanged in a skiff? I mean, I don't know how you avoid something like this from happening. I think I told you this story at the commercial break during Fox and Friends this morning. Yeah. But this stuff can happen.

Anybody listening right now, I know you probably have. Millions of different chat strings in your phone, whether it's family or it's friends or it's work colleagues or whatever it may be. We, our family text chain, has 19 people in it. One day we notice an extra person. Who chimed in and said, you know, I've really enjoyed listening to your family exchanges.

This is a true story. And we all paused, froze, exited, took it to the side, and said, Who is on here? We don't know how that person got on there. We've never gotten to the bottom of it. There wasn't national security risk to this particular situation, but that happened.

I mean, these are supposed to be pretty secure encrypted apps, which is why they're using Signal. Signal has published a statement and pushed back on any idea that perhaps it was not secure or not secure. But should they be using Signal? Should information like this be exchanged on a You know? On an encrypted app that could be exposed to the outside world?

I will say this: we're going to cover it today, no doubt about it. You're going to do it at 2 o'clock. I actually think we're giving way too much coverage to this. No one even cared about the attack. No one even cared.

I've cared about it. I love that. I love the intrigue in that region. I know the Houthi rebel attack was so important because it came a day after we also wrote a letter to Iran saying you got two months to consider what's next. You dismantle your nuclear program or we will.

And at the same time, you give a serious hit on the Houthi rebels to open up that waterway. And now we know what's going on.

So I'm thinking to myself, that's a big deal. But when I talk to people around here, you talk to the people in the real world, no one even... It didn't even resonate with people. Yeah, but that happens when you have a mistake. That becomes a major distraction.

And you have Democrats right now with a lot of in a very public way can call attention to it. They had the hearing yesterday. There's another hearing today where they're going to be forced to answer for this again.

So it's just a huge, huge distraction on what otherwise is a very offensive position on the part of this administration and is taken away from that. Yeah, I mean, essentially, you have Jeffrey Goldberg's commentary in between. New pages about a rundown of the timing of events that took place in the attack that very few of people had very much interest in prior to this, even though I think it's a significant move because it shows this administration, this administration was taking the threat in that region seriously. And you can't take 76 shots at our destroyer, even though we're knocking down all the shots, all the drone strikes, even though we're knocking them all down, you can't do that and not expect a massive retaliation. Also, what's Israel doing on the receiving end of long rockets, missiles into Israel?

So at the same time, we're defending Israel, sending a message to the Houthis big suppliers, Iran, and then actually hitting those men in moccasins in caves, causing so much havoc in the region. Let me ask you, could it have been handled better as to not become such a huge destruction? I mean, you had Hexeth right away coming out saying nobody texted war plans. He said that's all I have. Have to say.

Mike Waltz, there was no classified information. That was Tulsi Gabbard, Ratcliffe, my communications, to be clear. The messages that were in here by the security team were entirely permissible, which led the reporter to say in this newly published article, saying that it was all those statements combined with the assertions from numerous administration officials that he was lying about the context of the signal text. He said, quote, that has led us to believe that people should see the text in order to reach their own conclusions.

So perhaps maybe the response could have been handled in a way that didn't, quote unquote, force this journalist to publish more. I don't know. Thoughts? Sandra, I thoroughly believe it. I believe that it could have been handled because we don't want the rest of it out.

They had plenty of time on that flight to Hawaii to come up with something. Number two, I think he would have published it anyway. Are you going to tell me that the Atlantic wouldn't have felt pressure and Peter Goldberg wouldn't have pressure to extend this story more? Yeah. I think he extends it anyway.

My personal opinion. Just can you imagine this guy holding back anything that would damage the Trump administration? I go ahead and. Uh, Sandra Smith's going to be with us a few more minutes. Sandra, are we wearing?

Am I wearing you out yet? I am enjoying this thoroughly. Yeah, you love diving into it. Fox and Friends is very therapeutic. And then running up here, I felt like so warmed up and ready to go.

So I don't know, throw anything at me. What you got? I have a break. Back in the moment. Coming to you on a need-to-know basis, because man, do you need to know?

Hear it all on the Brian Kill Me Joe. Let's get you to respond if we could to in real time the White House press secretary just posted. She quoted, she took a screenshot of the Atlantic headline, which reads, I will say again for the viewers, here are the attack plans that Trump advisors shared on Signal. She writes, This The Atlantic has conceded these were not, quote, War plans. The entire story was another hoax written by a Trump hater, yada yada.

So, Jeffrey, does this seem like they're parsing the difference between a war plan and an attack plan? I don't even know what that means. I mean, the plain language in the text is: well, what are they arguing? That an attack is different than a war? They put operational details of a forthcoming attack on a terrorist organization into Signal.

That includ into a signal chat that included phone numbers that they didn't recognize. I I I don't even understand what that means. They're talking about attacking and killing terrorists using various weapon systems.

So she's just some sort of weird semantic game? I don't understand. I think it's a timeline of how things are unfolding with maybe a little bit of a pregame talk. And then you actually have that, the assessment on the aftermath, congratulations. And then they're out.

That was Jeff Goldberg talking about Peter Goldberg. Is it Peter Goldberg? Jeff Goldberg talking about. What Caroline Levin has just said, and what she relates to you, Sandra Smith.

So. Where do you fall on this?

Well, I mean, she seems to put an emphasis on War plans. There must be some sort of detail where they're going to where they can say that they're not designated war plans, but that they are attack plans, because she didn't take issue with that in the statement. But her statement reads exactly: The Atlantic has conceded these were not war plans. The entire story was another hoax written by a Trump hater who's well known for his sensationalist spin. The the idea that it's a hoax is an interesting one because it's a actually published text messages.

So the entire release, the journalist says, was so that the public could decide. Because when he released the first messages, the White House, Pete Hegseth, said these were not war plans that were discussed in this room. I have to say at this point we have more questions than answers. We'll see where the story goes. But here's what I do know.

We have this hearing coming up at 10 o'clock Eastern Time. Is that right, Ya? Yeah, the intelligence committee to look at threats around the world.

So John Ratcliffe, Tulsi Gabbard, they're all going to be in the hot seat. They're going to be forced to answer a lot of questions, growing questions from Democrats. We saw it get pretty fiery yesterday. And then we've got a White House press briefing at 1 o'clock Eastern Time. Caroline Levitt will be at the podium.

That's going to be highly anticipated. And there's going to be a lot of journalists in that room from both sides that are going to be demanding answers. Here's what the shame is. We know that fentanyl, we talk about there was a whole Presentation put down by Radcliffe yesterday, and it should be relayed today, where they look at fentanyl coming from China, profiting along with Mexico, the cartels coming from the north and south into our country, and the approach to minimize it. We got a missile system going into the Philippines that is so effective that the Chinese are apoplectic about it, and we're probably going to give it to Japan as well as South Korea.

And then we have a situation in ongoing talks with Russia and Ukraine where we're heading, reservations people have about the trustworthiness of Russia. But we're going to focus on this.

Now, it should be focused on, absolutely, but not your dominate for eight hours. This thing is done, it's finished, it's through, the mission wasn't compromised.

Some things will be done. There's nothing really more to say. The whole notion that Democrats are pushing that this is a trend from this administration to make mistakes like this is obviously a little silly considering that this is we're only two months into the administration.

However, it's a big enough quote unquote mistake that they are going to use this to distract from any successes of this administration. They're certainly doing that right now. But Brian, when you talk about national security and lives on the line, this is a is a pretty monumental mistake.

So they're going to have to get to the bottom of this, and they're going to have to explain to the American public so that there is trust in the process going forward. Should such plans attack plans, war plans, whatever they decide to designate them, should they have been discussed In this environment, well, yeah, they should be discussed somehow because in life, you can't sit in the situation room because you have Witkoff, which I don't know why he's on the line anyway. Personally, he's an envoy, but he was on the line. He's in Russia. You have Pete en route to, I guess, Hawaii.

Then you have Mike Waltz, who knows where he was, but they weren't in the same situation.

So, in the future, when you have to do stuff in real time, let's say we are attacked or something like that, you can't possibly be together.

So, there's got to be a way to communicate. Does everyone have to go inside some type of sealed room? Or you're not involved in the communication? I don't know if that's possible. And not to get into the nitty-gritty, but I did go to my encrypted app, which many people know WhatsApp.

This happened to be Signal that they were using. You have to be very deliberate with the contacts that you add to that. I don't think Michael Waltz would have just dumped his entire cell phone. You know, contactless into his encrypted app that he would have these discussions. They had to have been purposely added.

There's got to be a serious investigation happening right now. I know. It's hard to imagine it being a silly mistake. Because, like I said, Michael Waltz went up to somebody they thought was on the app because I wasn't on that chain. That was the problem.

You're with Brian Kilmead. Hey, we are back. Thanks so much for listening, everybody. We got a lot of breaking news happening at the same time. We're looking at the Atlantic story, which has been extended now because Goldberg, Jeff Goldberg, put in the rest of the material that they got, which is essentially a timeline of the attack leading up to and through the attack on the Houthi rebels a couple of weeks ago.

Congressman Steve Scalise, House Majority Leader, will be joining us shortly.

So it should be interesting to have him on to get his take. I mean, literally, this dropped 35 minutes ago, so you got to read a bunch of pages real quick. Essentially, he does run down the timeline of the attacks. But here's the thing that I'm watching for already. Is it something we should cover?

Yeah, absolutely. Is it something we should be looked at? Should communications be reformed? Yes. Are we 70 days into an administration?

Easily could alter it? Yeah. But so far, the chain between them, the communications as it went place, the execution of the attack was phenomenal. The way they're taking control of a region, attacking all problems at once, from Gaza to Iran to the Houthi rebels in Yemen, is extremely impressive. The displacement, it looks like Egypt, according to reports, is close to taking 500,000 maybe Palestinians.

I think there's only two or three million in there. That's significant.

So there's progress being made everywhere. Along the way, the ball was dropped here when it comes to secure communications. And Peter Goldberg was put on, Jeff Goldberg was put on this inadvertently.

Okay. This is extended another day now. which you got to look for and I'm going to be very wary of. Is the Democrats just going to look to extend this? Because all they have really is their failure to stop the CR from two weeks ago, their inability to come up with any cohesive message, their 27% approval rating as opposed to Donald Trump who's around 47 to 49 percent, which in this polarized environment and knowing his track record is pretty noteworthy.

And the other thing is You have the people getting the most publicity are the most embarrassing. You got this woman, Crockett, this congresswoman from Texas, of all places, who comes out and basically mocks the governor of. of Texas, not because of his policies, but because he's in a wheelchair. Calling them Hot Wheels.

So, I think a censure is coming. There's no doubt about it. Al Green embarrassed himself a few weeks ago in the president's speech, just screaming out in the middle of it. He gets censured too. Joining us now is Congressman Steve Scalise.

Congressman, welcome back. Hey, Brian, always great to be back with you. How you been? I've been doing real good. A couple of things.

First off, on the censure possibilities with the Congresswoman's comments about the governor. Is that forthcoming? I know Congressman Greg Murphy has been looking at some things and committees are doing a lot of different works on different fronts. But it just shows you, as you said, the Democrat Party is truly a leaderless, runnerless ship right now. And their spokespeople are AOC, Crockett and Bernie Sanders.

And that's what's wrong with the Democrat Party. They don't know why they lost the election. They won't admit why they lost the election. And they're getting their most extreme, radical, crazy members to be their spokespeople. And that's by their own choice.

Well, you tell me how you take this. Listen to her, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, Cup 14. Because we in these hot ass Texas streets, honey. Um, y'all know we got Governor High Wheels down there. Come on now.

And and the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey.

So, um So yes, yes, yes, yes.

So obviously she thinks she's funny. And Politico today they interviewed some spokespeople for For handicapped groups, and they basically said that she's going for a laugh and we find it insulting to the entire community. And Politico wrote this story up.

So I don't know how you don't censure her by talking about something like that. Randy Weber came out and said the story of our great governor is one of unwavering resilience and perseverance.

Meanwhile, Crockett stooped to vile levels of discrimination and despicable political attacks. Yeah, Brian, and you know, I think what she said when I saw it yesterday, it was just vile and disgusting that she. She would just mock and make fun of a disabled person to try to get a laugh. It's not funny. It's disgusting.

By the way, where's the Democrat leadership? Where's Sakeem Jeffries? who is her leader of her party in the House commenting on it. Where's Chuck Schumer? Chuck, you'd you'd literally get run over if you got between Chuck Schumer and a camera in DC.

You know, where is he on denouncing this kind of disgusting, vile language from Crockett? But again, she's one of their spokespeople now, so they're going to have to own the stuff she says. I'm glad the disability communities. coming out against it as they should because Governor Abbott's a great leader. He doesn't talk about his disability because he just acts like I'm a leader and I'm gonna go take care of the people of Texas and he's done a phenomenal job in Texas.

But for her to say this shows a lot about her lack of character. But where are the leaders of her party denouncing it? Right. Here's, by the way, Greg Abbott was asked about this on Sean's show last night, Cut 15. The reality is they have no vision, no policy.

They have nothing to sell but hate, and Americans are not buying it. It's one reason why Texas is going to remain red and why Republicans are going to continue to win elections across the country. The fact, Sean, is that Texas is actually in direct contrast to what she was talking about.

So Emily Lidow, a disability rights advocate, says if the Democrats want to be as inclusive as they claim, they do and ensure that people with disabilities are actually recognized as being welcome under their political umbrella. And when Crockett made that joke, she was really going punching down, and she knew that she would get a laugh. Man, that's how, I mean, you just go ahead. But then notice, there are no high-profile Democrats denouncing what Crockett said. You know, is AOC going to denounce it?

No. Is Akeem Jeffries going to denounce it? No. So they can't go forward in the future and say they care about people with disabilities when they laugh and mock person. Privately and now publicly about people with disabilities.

Very classy of Governor Abbott to say what he said because he's just going to keep doing his job. That's what he's done. That's why he's successful. And it's why their party is floundering and failing because they have no vision. Like you said, this is who they've become.

And this is why Donald Trump has brought so many people, Brian, into the Republican Party. You know, you saw the growth last year. It's not just African-American men, it's not just Hispanics, it's working-class Democrats, blue-collar Democrats who gave up on the Democrat Party because they no longer cared about regular people. They only care about the elites. You know, the Ivy League elites at all these universities, well, now we know they don't even respect their own Jewish students.

If a Palestinian is going to threaten the life of a Jewish student at an $80,000 a year university, they'll let it happen. And America is disgusted by it. They want men and women's sports. They're a party that has literally just given up on 80% of America. And so the rest of America's left the Democrat Party.

Well, by the way, Congressman, excuse me, Senator Chuck Schumer has a book out on anti-Semitism while he ignores anti-Semitism raging in New York City at NYU, at City College, at this new school, and the worst places, Barnard and Columbia.

So we'll see about that attack plan there.

So I got to bring you to a couple of things just The check the boxes about raising the debt ceiling. What do you have to do to get that done? We're putting that in the reconciliation bill, that one big, beautiful bill that's going to deal with taxes, making sure we produce more energy in America, being able to fund a border wall and technology for our border agents, all that and the debt ceiling will be in that one big bill that's over in the Senate. They're finally going to start moving on it by next week. And we're ready to get that bill.

By on the President's desk by the summer. How do you guys lay the groundwork for In passing the CR a few weeks ago, did you lay the groundwork for this big bill? In order to get everyone on the same page outside Tom Massey? And do you expect to have two more seats filled by then? Yes, we did, and we will.

And if you looked to get the budget passed, it's a two step process to do budget reconciliation. You need to pass the budget, then the reconciliation bill. And it's powerful because then you only need 50 votes, 51 votes in the Senate, not 60. To do really big things like locking in tax rates, hopefully permanently, no tax on tips, the things President Trump ran on, energy production, opening up everything from Alaska up north to the Gulf of America, more open energy exploration where we can dominate the rest of the world. All of that will be in that one bill, along with things like the debt ceiling, regulatory reform, border security.

So we laid the groundwork. We passed it without a single vote to spare. As you said, you know, Massey was going to be a no on that. He's no on everything else. But even with that, we still had the votes without one to spare.

We will have a The elections in Florida, two elections. And if you live in Florida, make sure you vote because Democrats think they're going to steal that race, the old Waltz seat. They put a ten million dollars into that. It's a heavy Republican district. But in a fifteen, twenty percent turnout election, they think their people turn out in high numbers if we don't show up, if Trump voters don't show up.

They think they could steal that seat. We cannot let that happen. President Trump is fully engaged, by the way, Brian, in that election and helping tonight. I believe he's doing tomorrow night, he's doing a rally for our candidate, Randy Fine, to make sure that people vote in that election. We'll then have a three-seat majority because then at least Stephonik.

Goes over to the United Nations, which that's been held back by the Senate until we get through these special elections.

So we'll gain two more, but then we lose one again for about three months in New York. But Elise deserves it. She will be a great addition to Trump's cabinet as the UN ambassador. But that all happens all at the same time. It looks like President Trump is easing off on his massive tariffs push, and the market is responding up 220 points.

They're also responding to the big news about Hyundai coming to Louisiana, and they'll not pay any tariffs. What went into that deal? Yes, a lot of negotiations went into that deal. We had a great announcement at the White House with President Trump. Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, who's been doing a great job at bringing in big companies like Hyundai, Met is making a multibillion dollar investment in central Louisiana to build a data center because we have reliable energy in Louisiana.

You look at the two LNG export facilities that just got greenlighted under President Trump. Biden had a freeze on LNG exports. In Trump's first week, they were able to permit another twenty roughly twenty four billion dollar plant to export more LNG to our friends in Europe so they don't have to get their energy from Russia.

So that takes billions of dollars away from Russia while bringing billions of dollars and great high-paying jobs. To South Louisiana. Like all of this stuff is going on. I call it the Trump effect, Brian. You've seen almost four shots.

Trillion dollars, trillion with a T of new investment into the United States of America since Donald Trump became president. Those are real jobs that would have gone to other countries that are coming back to America because of Donald Trump's leadership. On the global stage, whether it's tariffs, tax policy, regulatory reform, and just Strength and dominance around the globe again. People are recognizing that and they're bringing their companies and their jobs back to America. Congressman Steve Scalise, our guest.

So, Congressman, about within the last hour, the rest of the signal exchange between principals and the Trump administration and route leading up to, through, and afterwards on the attack on the Houthis a couple of weeks ago, is now out in the Atlantic. At which time, Jeff Goldberg said, and publishes a whole timeline of the attacks. 11:44 Eastern Time, Hague said, posted on the chat. Team update. 12:15 F-18 launches.

1:45 trigger-based F-18 first strike window starts. Needless to say, it goes through the whole timeline of the attack. Is that classified information?

Well, according to the White House, they've said no classified information was shared. The White House would be the ones that know whether or not it was classified. I don't To have those kind of classified briefings, so I couldn't tell you that answer, but the White House has said clearly it's not. The bottom line is when you see what they did, the result of the attack on Houdies, I think most Americans would agree was a long time coming. Joe Biden let the Houdies shut down shipping lanes, attack American vessels, American military vessels, without responding at all.

And President Trump, as we know, he's not going to let the bullies and the bad guys win. He's going after these bullies in Yemen and other places and saying you're not going to hurt Americans and put our lives at risk. And so he took action. And by the way, it also helps our European allies too, who should be applauding what President Trump is doing.

So, you know, President Trump, as he said he would, is standing up to the bad guys and backing our allies. Gotcha.

So, Congressman Leader Scalise, I understand that. When John Radcliffe got his phone, they said use Signal app. Everyone was using Signal App. I did not know the Biden administration used it.

So, I mean, everything changes. I got it. I mean, if I told Obama what's this, he'll say what's a signal app. He was using a BlackBerry.

So everything's changing rapidly. We have to understand that. Do you have a signal app? Is that how you communicate securely? Because we know it disappears in a day or an hour or five days in this case.

What do you how do you communicate in a secure setting? Yeah, I'm not going to get into that because the house has its own secure system that they put on. Phones, other devices, but I won't get into the details of it. Just to say, you never heard Democrats complaining about this. Wind signal was being used by Democrats.

Probably a lot of them don't even know that the Biden administration was using that app, but they just criticize anything Donald Trump does. We saw that at the State of the Union. When they sat down when Donald Trump's celebrating a 13-year-old boy who cured cancer, not a single Democrat wanted to applaud that because they just hate. They hate Donald Trump, and by virtue of that, they hate America when it's successful under Donald Trump. That's disgusting.

We did not, by the way, sit down as Republicans when Biden or Obama celebrated something good about America. We all stood up and celebrated that too. Democrats have just, you know, they'll throw a Molotov cocktail on a Tesla today, and yet five years ago they were complaining about the carbon footprint of a fossil fuel car that emits so much more carbon to burn a Tesla. But they don't care about the planet when they're throwing a Molotov cocktail at a Tesla because they just hate Donald Trump, and by virtue, they hate. Elon Musk, because Elon Musk is helping cut waste in government.

Just think about the lunacy of that, Brian. I know, and especially it's poisonous when you blow these things up, too. Not only should you not be blowing up somebody else's car, needless to say, but when they actually are ignited, it is extremely dangerous.

Now they're going to go to jail because Pam Bondi's made it clear you break the law in America, you're going to jail. This isn't just like you lighting your own personal car on fire in your backyard. I mean, you're going to somebody's private property and Burning their car, it's a felony, and you're going to go to prison for that. I hope so. Leader School East, always great to talk to.

Congratulations on the Hyundai dealership. More jobs coming to Louisiana. Back in a moment. Newsmakers and newsbreakers. Here at first on the Brian Kill Me Show.

The talk show that's getting you talking. You're with Brian Kilmead. I have human empathy for these people who are just trying their best to kill other humans, all right? I guarantee that if anyone in this audience had their group chats leaked, it would ruin every single one of your lives. I personally have chats that are actually more sensitive than a missile attack on the Houthis, okay?

If you told me that my group chats leaked and then told me it was just my missile attack one, I'd be like, oh my god, thank God. Yeah. You think that's funny? You don't find that entertaining at all. You don't have anything incriminating in your group texts.

I just don't think he's funny. I've seen that. The only guy who's funny is Jon Stewart on Mondays. But Jon Stewart's rant on Monday was way off. He said that this whole thing with the war plans was freedom of speech.

And I'm like, wow, you're forcing it.

Well, I think for Jon Stewart on Monday too, that sort of broke a little late. You could tell they added it at the beginning really quick, but they didn't get to really Right, they didn't really have a chance to flush it out.

So he goes about free speech. I'm thinking to myself, Really? You really relate free speech to a Classified app. Um, I just am very wary. I'm willing to cover the story, but I'm very wary about spending too much time on this because it's totally getting inordinate compared to everything else going on.

Well, I think what we were talking about yesterday with Kaylee, the more interesting thing is the conversations that were in there. Yeah, everyone's known it. No, we wait for a book to come out by Bob Woodward. We're half for its fiction. I guess we'll see.

Hey, and by the way, this is, I'm sure the news cycle is going to move fastly. Don't forget, I want to see you in Dayton in June, June 21st, BrianKilme.com. Hi, everybody, from 48th and 6th in Midtown Manhattan, where everybody agrees our subway system's terrible and we need a lot of money to fix it. But the difference is, Sean Duffy says, don't look at the federal government to pay it.

And of course, our governor says, I don't want to pay it.

So we're stuck with it, essentially. That's what we're looking at now. I've never seen a transportation secretary have to fight so much as Sean Duffy has had to do over the last few months since he took the job. This hour, we're going to be joined by Elizabeth Hasselbach, author of a brand new book, former co-host on Fox and Friends and View co-host. It's going to be great to see her, who's a fantastic Division I athlete, captain of her softball team.

And then Rich Lowry is standing by, editor of National Review. And by the way, everyone thinks that SpaceX had a one-off. They're actually going up again today, and they are going to be dropping off more Starlinks. And that is going to do more for. Uh, the rest of the world and the country.

Yep, the Falcon 9 rocket will launch the V2 mini satellites into low Earth orbit a little more than eight minutes after liftoff. The strange, uh, the stage booster will target a landing on the drone trip, uh, too. They after they take off, it's pretty amazing to watch the rocket come back down.

So, there you go. That's a few things that are happening now. We also have the latest drop from the Atlantic story, just came out shortly.

So let's get to the big three. Number three.

So we've made a lot of progress on two fronts, on both sections that we call them, Russia-Ukraine, and also the Middle East. And we'll see what happens.

So we'll see what happens. That's what happens. Russia-Ukraine talks make marginal progress. We look at the fluid situation and the Trump team's relentless approach to bring peace to east to Europe. But Russia did have a massive drone strike yesterday.

Number two. Because we in these hot ass Texas streets, honey. Um, y'all know we got Governor High Wheels down there. Come on now. There we go.

thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mask, honey. What an embarrassment she is to Texas. That's Jasmine Crockett. Dems flailing, and Jasmine Crockett making their problems a whole lot worse as she mocks Governor Abbott's. Wheelchair and refuses to apologize.

Meanwhile, new polls show who the left-wing party looks at as their standard-bearer, and it's scary. Number one. When they say there's no war plans, maybe they just mean that this text image did not include the full package of everything that they knew and everything that they could see and hear on the ground. But there is definitely some details, at least about timing, that is available. That is Peter Ducey reporting on the breaking news.

The Signal Gate continues. The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg just released the war plan part of the Signal Chat that he inadvertently was put on to a text chain 2. This is the Dems try and seize their first opportunity to trip up Trump Team 2 that's moving at turbo speed. 47's handling it, and the stand-up move by Mike Waltz taking full blame. Mike just thwart it.

We'll have to see. Rich Lowry joins us now. Rich, I'm just looking at the Atlantic, the rest of the story. I don't know if you had a chance to look at it. It shows a timeline.

It's leading up to the attack, the attack itself. Type of plane. The aftermath of it, the review, the exchange back and forth. This seems to be classified. Is that your judgment?

Yeah, I don't know about whether it's technically classified, but certainly not something I'm going to be sharing on Signal or with someone who's a journalist and a hospital journalist of all things. I think Trump, Brian, had the right take yesterday. You know, are they going to do this again? No, you know, but let's move on. And I think Pete and some others were foolish to get involved in this back and forth.

You know, that's not a war plan that was texted, and we weren't texting war plans. Just say, look, you know, we realize we made a mistake here. We won't do it again. But this mission was successful. And let me assure you the Houthis don't care one way or the other about the Signal chat and move on.

And instead, they've created some kind of hostages to fortune in their pushback that's Create the conditions for Goldberg to drop the whole text chain. And it's you know, it's embarrassing. But that's all you need to say. It's embarrassing. Let's go on to the next thing.

Here is Donald Trump yesterday, cut two. The main thing was nothing happened, n the attack was totally successful. Uh it was, I guess from what I understand, took place during And it wasn't classified information.

So this was not classified.

Now, if classified information, it's probably a little bit different. But I I always say you gotta you have to learn from every experience. I think it was very unfair the way they attacked Michael. Uh he's a a good person. Uh the person that was on just happens to be a Sleazeberg.

So that was uh Jeff Goldberg, who took his time, is enjoying this publicity. My sense is, and you'd probably know him better, Rich, I think he was going to publish it anyway. But Hexets, because he went out and said it, you know, they have things on there. I know a lot of you aren't going to download the. The Ulenic magazine.

So at 210, F-15's launch. At 2.15, strike drones on target. At 335, F-15's second strike target.

So obviously, and then they have an exchange about the aftermath, how successful, where everyone stood in the battle, and whether they should do it or not. One thing I thought was striking that I kind of went over yesterday, but just to get your take: J.D. Vance didn't want to do this, said it was a mistake, and the President didn't understand how contradictory it was towards what he's been saying about Europe. How do you feel about that? I I think JED has too much hostility towards our allies.

Yes, we need them to step up and spend more on their defense. Absolutely. And Trump has had some success in that regard. But this is a key national interest of ours. Hexeth is totally right about this.

Open sea lanes, key commitment of ours for the past hundred years. Prior to that, key commitment to our parent nation, England. They police these sea lanes for 200 years prior to that. And if you don't do it, someone else is going to do it. And it's not going to be France, right?

It's going to be China, or it's just going to be chaos where these brigands and pirates are able to interrupt this great public good of public trade.

So I think Hexeth and Waltz were totally right about this, and the president was totally right about this. And I don't understand JD's hesitation. But I mean, it shows you how sincere he is in being an isolationist. He's very much like Tucker, perhaps Charlie Kirk, I'm not sure. That wing of the Republican Party.

I find it scary. I am not for. We're just going around bombing people. It's not a matter of what they'll say, you're a warmonger. I'm like, what are you talking about, a warmonger?

The Houthi rebels are a threat and they shut down sea lanes and they did 200 and something attacks on 75 excuse me attacks on our destroyer that went through there last so we just stopped going through there can't do that and send a message to Iran that you're strong while you back off a bunch of guys in moccasins who don't even have control of a country yep Yep, totally. Again, a hex depth in that text chain says: one, it's a national interest of ours, open sea lanes. And two, we need to reestablish our deterrent. And these folks are funded by Iran.

So I think he was right, and the president was right. But look, JD is hugely influential. He's very intelligent. He's very committed to this worldview. And this is going to be a tension and debate within the right for a long time now.

Yeah, people fill a vacuum, and they're going to no longer go along with any China isolation or any sanctions. Because the good part about helping people out, we get influence in their country. And goodwill. And if we're going to start doing that, we're going to lose that. And I think it's a big mistake.

You don't want to be you know, you can't be writing blank checks, but I think there's a responsible way to do it. Hopefully, I think the President's got the right balance. I hope. But listen to the Democrats just feasting on this opportunity to beat up on the Trump team, cut six. Director Radcliffe, this was a huge.

Mistake. Correct? A national political police. No, no, Director Radcliffe. I asked you a yes or no question, and now you hold on.

Director Gabbard, did you participate in the group chat with Secretary of Defense and other? Trump senior officials discussing the Yemen war plans. Senator, I don't want to get into this matter. Ma'am, did you want? You're not going to be willing to address it.

So, you're not, are you denying? Will you answer my question, ma'am?

So, this went on over and over, and I'm sure it's going to happen today. They're going to try to address all the problems in the world, and they're going to just talk about signal. Yeah. Yeah. But Gavard and Ratcliffe, those were some of the most thought-out answers, right?

Long pauses before a lot of the answers there. Terrible timing for them, right? When this comes out, they're at an intelligence hearing. Look, I think the story breaks through in the sense it's interesting and it's somewhat funny. I know it's very serious, but for ordinary people, we've all had an incident like this.

So I think it breaks through in that sense. But does this change one single voter's view of the Trump administration or how they're going to vote? No. People care about the results.

So I think if the mission went wrong, even if it was unrelated to this, That would be a b big political problem. But at the end of the day, it was a successful mission and it was a good idea to do it. And there's more to come. And I think that's what matters to people at the end of the day. All right.

So let's talk about what is happening on the Democratic side.

So when this gets over, whether it's later on today or I don't expect Walls to be fired. I don't expect Pete Hagseth to be fired. Do you? No, I think if you're unhappy with one of them and you're President Trump, this would be maybe an excuse to do it, but I don't think he is, and I don't think he will. Good.

So let's move on, talk about the Democrats. I'm amazed some of the rhetoric we're hearing. Listen to the person who's one of the new standard-bearers, 100-year-old Maxine Waters. Listen to this, Cut 17. If he wants to To start looking so closely to find those who were born here and their parents were undocumented, maybe ought to first look at Melania.

And the crowd roars. Really? Is that what's going to win you in the midterms? No, it's it's pathetic. I th they they're they're lost.

Now look, they they'll probably take back the House no matter what, 'cause it's so narrow and the incumbent party usually loses. The Senate map favors Republicans. And then Figuring out, these clowns aren't going to figure it out. It's going to be, if they figure it out, it's going to be a presidential candidate who's new and fresh and has a compelling new take on things. That's how you win.

It's what Trump did, totally different take on things and the way of doing things, the way Obama won in 08.

So that's what they have to be hoping for. You know, you don't see it on the horizon, but oftentimes you don't. No one anticipated Trump. No one really anticipated Obama.

So we'll see. I don't think the House is a given. I just don't think in this climate it's a given. You have a Democratic Party that's at 27% approval, and now you have Donald Trump between 45, 47 and 49. And then, when you have the country on the right track, it went from in the 20s in November to now it's 44 percent.

So if he could get that one big bill going and the tariffs somewhat organized. Uh and we start bringing more manufacturing back here. Can you imagine that while efforting to bring peace to those two different problematic regions, which have not been discussed? I just don't see it automatic. You have so much more experience, though, than me, Rich Lowry.

You feel that? I think if they're a cushion, like 15-seat margin or something, yeah, maybe. But a two or three-seat margin, I think it could be really hard. And Trump's not going to be in the ballot, you know, and that's a key element to Republican.

So I yeah saying it's a hundred percent they're gonna lose the house goes too far, but there th the s Are very strong if they don't lose the house.

So I want to talk about tapping. That's another reason you want to rush and get stuff done. There could be a two-year winning. I will bet you a subscription to National Review. I will pay yours and you pay mine.

If I win, you have to pay my subscription. I'll pay yours. All right, Rich? Got it. Ukraine, U.S.-Ukraine, they're in talks.

They're doing it again. They're going at it again. Here's what Lieutenant General Mark Hurtling: Let me just update everybody. They agreed, I guess, in principle, not to hit each other's energy ports, and they stopped hitting each other at the Black Sea. That, but of course, Russia came back and said, Yeah, I'll do that if you could put us back on the SWIFT system and release some agricultural supplies.

And the U.S. said, We'll do what we can.

So, no commitments, but that's essentially what they agreed to. Here's what Lieutenant General Mark Hurtling said: Cut 26. We're looking at negotiating a plan to give back 20% of Ukrainian territory to Russia. Not give back, but offer them 20%.

Now, that number is squishy, but when you think about the territory of those provinces, It's about the same size as the combined states of California and South Carolina. And it also has a lot of infrastructure, agriculture, technology, energy plants. All of those things are going to be taken away from the Ukrainians, as well as just invading their sovereign territory.

So it's troubling to me. I just don't know how you're going to get that territory back. I think the president's got to say: if you guys continue. To meander, if it's a couple of weeks from now, we're going to arm up Ukraine. We're going to give them more armaments than ever before.

And here are the new sanctions we're going to put on you. But we've already lifted the, we've already put back, gotten rid of the waiver that allows Europe to buy energy from you. That's gone.

So he's got to show them how the status quo is going to be painful. Correct. Yeah, I think that's absolutely right. I wouldn't be giving them anything, by the way, just for this very minor element of a ceasefire deal. You have to give them some stuff for an ultimate deal.

But yeah, he's going to have to convince them it's going to be more painful for them to walk away from the table rather than keep spooling this out. And that's not just sanctions and tariffs. I mean, we really don't have any trade with Russia. It's saying we're going to back Ukraine to the hill. And that'll be kind of counter to what the tax been so far.

But we've pressured Ukraine and we're probably going to have to squeeze Russia too. Absolutely. So we'll see where that goes. You know, yesterday there was Palestinian protests against Hamas in Gaza. That's the first one I can remember.

And it looked like there's thousands of people there. It looks like Egypt could be close to taking 500,000 Palestinians. I'd like to see it formally announced.

So we know the IDF is going in hard. At the same time, hostage video emerged of two hostages obviously wasting away in those tunnels somewhere. Where's this heading? Yes, I think it's headed to an all out Israeli assault to really do everything they can to destroy Hamas. And then the huge question is who takes it over?

Who wants Gaza? Who who Israel doesn't want it? Do we want it? No, I don't think we want it. No one else wants it.

So that's the big question mark at the end of this thing. Go get him retired. Appreciate it. Thanks, Brian. We're monitoring the House Intelligence Committee meetings right now.

We know the signal controversy with the Atlantic magazine writer is going to come up. We also know there are legitimate threats that America is facing, and our foremost experts are reviewing them. That's important, too, don't you think? Back in a moment. Diving deep into today's top stories, it's Brian Kilmead.

Hi, everyone. Welcome back. We're just watching some of those intelligence hearings taking place right now, and I think it's pretty interesting to hear real threats. And then, once they stop talking with the prepared remarks, you know what's going to happen?

Well, hell's going to break loose.

So, one of the many things that Trump is doing now: number one, he's going to release Operation Hurricane. And that is the operation. That the operation that looked into Donald Trump's non-existent relations with Russia, they thought there was going to be one, and they wanted to take him down as a candidate, then as a president.

So, we're going to get to the bottom of that with Cash Patel at the FBI and John Radcliffe at the CIA and Pam Bondi at Justice. Are you going to tell me they're going to hold back anything? And the other thing Trump did, just to show you, it's his checklist of things he wants to accomplish: get rid of birthright citizenship. It's going right up the ladder, it'll end up in the Supreme Court. Also, he signed an executive order yesterday.

And when it comes to election fraud, he wants to make sure that people have proof of citizenship when they go to vote. I love this. Tell me what the downside is: Republicans could win or lose with this. It's not only citizens vote for Republicans, citizens vote for Democrats. What candidate wants to stand in front of this?

And people that want to loosen it up, don't want to have any voter ID. It has to, in their mind, make them feel like they have an advantage if non-citizens vote. It's not discriminatory to have ID. You can't get on a plane, you can't get into a building. If you're an Uber Eats driver, you can't get past security.

I mean, come on, of course it is. But what I love is that Trump talked about this in the stump, and he puts it in writing. It starts working on the courts, someone gets insulted, they sue, and we start finding out if we can make it law. Just like getting rid of the Department of Education, moving the embassy over from Tel Aviv over to Jerusalem. Everyone talked about it.

He actually did it. And now, when it comes to the Department of Education, Senator Bill Cassidy was on the show yesterday and said, yeah, I'll draw up some legislation. We'll see if we can get it done. Information you want, truth you demand. This is the Brian Kill Me Show.

Hey, we are back. And guess who's in the studio? If you're smart enough to got the Fox News app, or you're watching us on Fox Nation or checking out the stream, Elizabeth Hasselbeck back in studio. A brand new book is out. It's called God's Masterpiece.

Came out yesterday. And the top of your resume, is it still former Fox and Friends Anchor? Or, like, what do you put there? Of course. I mean, and wouldn't anyone want that on their roster description?

I'm not sure. I think so. Of course, from The View prior to that, and where were you prior to that? What were you hosting? Weren't you hosting another show?

So, before The View, I hosted a show on the e-networks called The Look for Less.

So, we take designer looks. And replicate them for under $100 in one hour at malls across the United States and America. Do you have like a good sense of fashion and I mean, that's insulting that you would ask me that.

So, can't you tell? That was insulting. I don't know, Brian. You could have somebody dress you. I mean, you do have a big entourage.

You know, um, we got a big crew. The no, I love I love design.

So, before you know, before I went on Survivor, I was designing shoes at Puma. And before that I was a studio art major.

So, wow, I didn't know that. Yeah, no, I have lived an odd life. And so I was literally making. Do you remember the Reebok pump, by the way? Yeah.

Okay. So I worked at Reebok as an intern my senior year in college. And because Tim's dad was like, What are you going to do with this art major? Tim Hasselbeck, my husband. He said, What are you going to do with this art major?

And I was like, I don't know. I'm going to paint. And he just kind of looked at me like, I think you need a job. He was so kind. I was dating Tim at the time.

And what I didn't realize was this NFL Super Bowl-winning tight end, right? Who had is as tough as nails, 6'8, muscle, just strength. He was a painter in college.

So he knew. He's like, Girl, you're going to need a job.

So I, he's like, Why don't you? That's his dad. That's Tim's dad. Patriots and Raiders, right? John Hasselbeck, yes.

And so he was looking out for me. And I thought, well, why would he say this?

So he worked at Reebok at the time. He's like, I've seen your drawings. Why don't you try to get an internship?

Well, I worked for Steve Monty, who designed the Reebok pump. And remember, Remember the shroud? Remember when the football colleagues had that? Like, it was called the shroud. It was like instead of spatting, they would like cover the laces.

Okay. Um. And he was like a geppetto to me. He taught me how to be the architect of a shoe. In my senior year I designed a cleat for my softball team.

that I wore. Wow. I know. And then Puma hired me and I had some good shoes and some bad shoes. You know, you I should have been fired a couple of times.

And and so you decide, okay, this is g I'm gonna be really successful. Let me stop that and try something else. Right. So then you go and you go ahead and did you get Survivor after that? Yeah, it must have been a rough work week at the design table.

So, one of the guys that I worked with, who used to design sh um cars in Detroit, came in. He's like, Hey, I I have this application. If you want to get dropped in the middle of nowhere and see if you could survive, I'm going to apply. And he was like making a photocopy or something. That's how old we are.

And he I saw it and I was like, oh, that sounds good.

So I started applying for Survivor. And was was Survivor established yet? I think it was in its first season, but I had no idea. I didn't watch it. And what season did you get on?

Two. You got it, season two. Yeah. And how did that change everything? Changed everything.

Changed everything but two things. It changed. You know, when we went there 39 out of the 41 days that I was there in the Australian Outback, I kind of went to go see what I was made of. And I found out not much, need God. And Tim Hasselbeck did not change.

I couldn't, I was there literally starving. I knew it was finite. It's like, all right, this is like a bad softball drill. I'm just here for a while. And I knew I could get through it.

I just But I realized then how much I missed him, and I wanted to never be that far from him again in my life.

So that was really revealing. And then, um, It was there that I truly realized that what Would get me through was not even a meal at the time, or you know, fresh water, or I think I came back weighing like two pounds. It was just one of the guys that was there brought his Bible, and I remember reading it and giving me comfort when it was the most uncomfortable situation, you know, that I had been in.

So, before that, you weren't very religious. I mean, I had started reading the Bible. I grew up Catholic. And I loved it. My grandmother was the most devout.

Like, everyone's like, Do you know Jesus? I'm like, We have a big, huge painting of the Last Supper, right? Is that good enough? Jesus was at every meal, you know? Like, Mary was in the garden.

And this was a family that the rosary was very familiar to me. And just prayer was super familiar. I think I just didn't have like a personal relationship. Like talking, I would pray the Our Father, which is the perfect prayer, and I still think it is. I just don't know that I experience his grace and a need for him.

So deeply that I would pray the way I prayed.

So I just think it's kind of awesome that. Even in God putting me in the Australian hotback, he was.

So kind because that's where the preparation had to happen before I went to the view. Right. And you got to survive first. Yeah, we're all built, we're building up to more information on God's masterpiece. But before you get that, were you wondering if there was a God when you were stuck on the view?

Were you like, this job is rewarding? I'm getting more notoriety, but my goodness, emotionally, this is killing me. I don't know if I realized at the time. I think I'm kind of a person where I forget the pain of something, much like childbirth. You know, like, let's have, let's do that again.

Right. So I just think it's. I like competition and I felt a duty, I think, to express at least one other point of view when I was there. There were days that were harder than others. I tend to just kind of move on and block those out as much as I can, I think, just naturally.

That's how I'm wired. Just, I guess I wouldn't go back if I went home and was like, that was terrible. But it was, I mean, But you were getting really at that point the view is Barbara Walters was still around there. It had a view of had a sense of news to it, more news conversation. Right.

And more relevance as opposed to now it's like a, in my view, I don't want to put you in trouble. But in my view, it's like a carnival of ridiculous opinions. I mean, we get it just to have something to contrast and to like. to jump off of. You know, the view is really interesting, okay?

So if you took a bunch of men and put them on a debate show, people would be like, that was a fiery debate, hearty, you know, and you take women and they're like, they just fight. That's the kind of like cast over it that that was when I was there. Barbara did maintain a very newsworthy heartbeat on the show. And it was, it always felt like we had to uphold a certain standard, even though I was wildly outnumbered. I don't even think I realized it.

You know, that was total zone defense. But Barbara always, and I so credit her for teaching me how to research and interview and be thorough and be curious. You know, Barbara was so curious. Listen, she would read. The entire book on someone, take notes, know almost more about them than they probably remembered about themselves, but yet left so much room to listen and be even more curious than she was confident in her research and so thorough.

I mean, if you went through with production notes, she would. You know, there'd be her hand marking all over them. She was unbelievably talented, taught me so much. I'm so grateful for my time with her. And she was hard on me.

I mean, those were hard, hard days in terms of getting better. Because she was not cons when did you realize she was not conservative or not necessarily up the middle? Or do you think she was up to middle? I think she maintained a discipline of use. That was Right down the middle, you could always tell by the glimmer in her eye when she thought you were crazy, right?

Right, I got the glimmer often, um, like curiosity, but it was like this curiosity: how could one? Sitting there before me Think this crazy thought. Like, she wanted to know why more than hold a position against you on the what.

So that's what I admired about her. And I think, you know, the view now, I haven't been there in a while. And Whoopi and I are friends. Like, but do you flip on once in a while? Do you flip on?

Once in a while, I go back to bother them. No, no, physically you go back there and you'll say hello? Once in a while when I'm I'm like What would it feel like to get In an argument again. That's something that I like. Are you gonna do your book?

Are you gonna go back there for your book? No. Oh, no.

Okay. No, this is the same thing. All right, good. I don't blame you. I'm here right now.

No, I know. Because they'd be taping right now. Yeah, there's always tomorrow. I know this is the highlight. But that's interesting.

So you come back and then you join the view and that really tests you. By the time we got to you on Fox and Friends, you took a few months before you started with the show. But I really felt as though it was a traumatic experience for you to be there. You know, it was I I I'm really grateful for my time there. I feel like it's an opportunity that.

You know, continued to change our lives. We had all three kids there. I met Sherry Shepard there, one of my great friends. Whoopie and I are friends, even though we think the other person is completely off chain. Like, wow, what is what's she thinking?

Like, we just have the ability to be friends, even though we think completely in different directions. And I think that the view Yeah, there were some traumatic things there. There were some people there that caused trauma. Shall remain nameless, but we know who they are. But then by the time I got here, it was this is such a positive work environment.

Oh, you think so? Oh, I know so. It's so positive and so encouraging. And when you step into the building at the early hours, first of all, our team. Was incredible.

And I walk back in here today, and it's the same. I think the consistency of just respect and honor and joy and work hard and no complaining is real. And it's a sustaining one.

So I, I would. This building's so special. It's I don't know that there's another one like it.

So yeah, and but you after a while you said, My kids are young enough. It's really hard for me to get up in the morning and then be go go home and hit be able to hit it 100 miles an hour. All they're all athletes, right? Yeah, they're all athletes. And truly, I have such admiration for you, Steve, and Ainsley, because you've been doing, you've been getting up early for a long time now.

And I. I don't know how you do that. Like, I'm a night owl and I didn't change my habits. It's a problem. Tim's like, you could have kept going, but you didn't go to sleep.

Like, I would be up till midnight. And even last night, I had to get up this morning to come visit you all. And I was like, oh, gosh, I got to go to bed. I can't. Yeah.

Takes a while. It's a ridiculous night owl. And I didn't switch the habit. We're going to do another segment, but I just real quick, on for people listening right now, what led to this book? Who do you want to read this book?

I really hope that adults and kids get to read this book and discover, in addition to 11 great works of art with masters behind it, that we are all God's masterpiece with a purpose that's specific. We're all created uniquely. And that how we see ourselves and how we treat one another should be like that. What age? What age?

I'd say like. Two to seven-ish. Two to seven. Or older, or grown-up kids like me who need that reminder as well. Right.

That you are God's workmanship. I'm his masterpiece. We have purpose in front of us and the power to do the stuff that God has set before us to do. Do you teach Sunday school type thing? Do you do the religious class?

Because it seems to me you'd be perfect for that. Oh, thanks. That's a high compliment. Because a conversational way to approach the Bible with children. Yeah, and even adults.

I actually find that sometimes when I'm writing for kids, it makes so much more sense to me. Right. You know, I think we overcomplicate the gospel, and it's. It's we're the complicated ones, and it's very clear what God has done for us.

So, the more I write for kids, the more, I don't know, deeply connected I feel to God, but it's like it doesn't have to be that. complicated. How does Tim feel about like you're very I would consider like Ain, very similar to Ainsley, very religious. Is Tim the same way? Tim is a super Strong man of faith.

Like he is, he actually, I carried with me today, like all the truths that God. Because when you go to talk about things. And I'll just be really honest, doubt sets in, right? Or, like, maybe I won't be good enough, or maybe I won't wake up, or you just start to doubt yourself and your capabilities. And he wrote on an index card, like, all the things that God says about us for me.

And I took him with me today, read him the story. About you two as a couple, or about just what God says. And even Tim knows what he says about me is awesome. I'm always like, You like me, still like me? You love me, you know?

And, but it's what he knew today that I didn't need. What he had to say, that would be great. But he knew that I needed what God has to say about me.

So that's just the kind of guy he is. And he's definitely like the leader in our family when it comes to that. And even watching him as a coach, you know, when you watch him, he's a coach in high school now. Oh my gosh. Yes.

Yeah. It's intense. You know, it's intense. It's a lot. First of all, I don't know how you guys get a bunch of.

Teenagers to do something at the same time. Like, I can't even get two out of my house for school. It's so hard to get a football team together. I looked at that by the time you get the equipment on, you tell them where to line up when they're six and seven, eight years old. Yeah.

I mean, oh, the chin strap doesn't work, the helmet's too big, they're a little bit late, they forgot something. And I'm like, guys, it takes them a half hour just to set up. With soccer, shin pads. We didn't even need shin pads when I was growing up. You just go play, especially when they're little.

You roll it out, you let them run, calm down. Yeah. And then you can start talking to them. But football, man, that is a lot for it because you can't run a play unless the kids know how to stand, right? Yeah.

How to do their stance. And everyone's got to do their job. I just think, you know, what Tim is good at is assembling a bunch of guys around him. Right. And half of them have Super Bowl rings, and half of them are superheroes.

And his dad's coaching with him too? Yeah, Don Hasselbach, tight ends coach. Helping with the old line, right? He's amazing. And then Matthew Hasselbeck is the offensive coordinator.

So you talk about his 20 years in the NFL and he's up top, like top gun. What's the name of the school? Enzworth School. Wow. Yeah.

So it's a private school. It's a private school. Right. Do they ever lose? Undefeated this season.

I thought so. No kidding. That's unbelievable. Who wouldn't want to go to that school? Elizabeth Hasselback, a brand new book.

When we come back, we have a few more minutes.

So pick it up now. God's Masterpiece. Is this something we can get on Amazon? It is. It is.

Okay. We have to go to, we could go to a bookstore too. You can go to a bookstore. Wow. That's fantastic.

Or if you have a butler, a lot of people, I have a lot of rich people listening to me. Send a staffer. If you have a friend, you can ask them to get it for you. Absolutely. Like you have a lot of friends.

Yeah. Give the phone to the child. They will know how to order the book on Amazon. They really will. Even without your permission.

Back in a moment. Illuminating, intriguing, inculcating. I know some of these words. It's Brian Kilmead. From his mouth to your ears, it's Brian Kilmead.

Hey, we are back a few more minutes with Elizabeth Hasselback. The good news is her brand new book is out. It came out on Tuesday. It's called God's Masterpiece, and it is a book really from what, three to seven-year-olds. But parents should go grab this book.

And you're talking about generations, nephews, nieces, you keep it in your house because you never know when a kid's coming over. That's right. And you give them a quick lesson. Yeah. Yeah, you get to learn 11 artists.

You get to remind a kid that their identity is like designed and with purpose by God and that He gets to determine their value, which is so high, their high worth, and that they get to treat each other like masterpieces. There's a mirror in the back. It's actually a great Easter basket gift, I think, because you can the gift for generationally that will generationally change how kids see themselves or at least remind them. It's not my idea. God says in Ephesians that we're God's masterpiece, you know, created.

In Christ Jesus, to do the good works that He's created and gone ahead of us to do. He's already given us the power and purpose to do it.

So it's. It's really just this cool set of friends that goes through and learns all these artists, which is amazing. Like, they'll be art history majors by the time they're done with this book. And then at the end, there's a mirror and they get to see themselves framed up like a masterpiece. What a great concept.

It's awesome. Yeah. Just now let's talk about something else that I don't know you've been following, but I thought about you too as a college athlete. Yeah. How about these trans men and women sports?

I mean Do you believe that it's an 80-20 issue? Do you believe that we still have to debate this? Doesn't it honest to be fair to women? Isn't it honest that trans men have no place there? You know, and your daughter's a college athlete.

Yeah, we have three athletes in our home. This is a really This is a topic we probably shouldn't have to talk about, but I first and foremost want to say that even if anyone is struggling with that. And their parents are struggling to remind them of this: that they were created. Wonderfully. As workmanship by God.

So, when you are born and when you are in your mother's womb, God already has designed you well. He's our maker. He's our master. And we don't answer to human masters when it comes to our identity. We just don't, because those will fail.

And so I really feel for kids who are struggling.

So I want this to be heard that my heart aches for anyone who feels like they are in the wrong body or in the wrong gender. It does not ache for a set of adults that confirm that lie. And so our God says you are perfectly and wonderfully made. That he knows every hair on your head, every thought before we think it. And for when it comes to athletics, it's a safety issue for me.

So, Grace plays with a metal stick. They check each other constantly. She's bruised up. And she plays lacrosse. If she were to go up against her cousin, who is a.

Male. Um Biologically, a male, and he were to check her. He's two months younger than her. and plays the same sport. He might.

Absolutely destroy at best her body. Absolutely. The physical threat is not safe. Imagine soccer too head to head. Concussions head to head.

You've been taking some people don't think base, you know, they'll say, well, what about baseball? Like, I've seen, I saw two collisions this weekend with two bodies going after the same ball at high speed. I don't believe it's a safe. Space to invite a biological male body to actually bring physical harm to a female body. That's my bottom line on that.

It's pretty easy. To me, it's pretty easy. Pretty easy, pretty easy. And yet, I have mercy and feel sadness if that exists. But they do need the reminder: no, you are wonderfully made.

I hear you. Elizabeth Hasselback, you are wonderfully made. If I can editorialize a little. Pick up God's Masterpiece. It is out this week.

You'll never regret it. Elizabeth, great to see you. Thank you, Brian. From the Fox News Radio Studios in Midtown Manhattan, it's the fastest-growing radio talk show. Brian Kilmead.

Welcome to the latest moments of the Brian Killmee Show. Final hour of the show here on, or one of the final hours on the show, depending on when you're taking it. We are here on a beautiful Wednesday. Tom Holman is standing by, and Jackie Heinrich at the bottom of the hour, the breaking news about the communication on Signal. We know about it.

Well, Peter Goldberg. True to his profile, Jeff Goldberg, true to his profile, has now published the second half of a text chain he was never meant to be on that talked about the attack on the Houthi rebels.

So that has been the overwhelming story so far.

So let's get to the big three. Number three.

So we've made a lot of progress on two fronts, on both sections that we call them, Russia-Ukraine, and also the Middle East. And we'll see what happens.

Yeah, we'll see what happens. Russia-Ukraine talks make marginal progress. We look at the fluid situation, the Trump team's relentless approach to bring peace to Eastern Europe. Number two, because we in these hot-ass Texas streets, honey. Um, y'all know we got Governor High Wheels down there.

Come on now. And the only That he is a hot ass mess, honey. Really, one of the most successful governors in my lifetime, the governor of Texas, in a wheelchair, and she thinks it's funny. The Dem's flailing, and Jasmine Crockett makes their problems a lot worse as she mocks Governor Abbott's wheelchair and now refusing to apologize.

Meanwhile, New Poll Show: Who the Left Wing Party Looks To As Their Standard Bearer. Can you say Bernie Sanders in AOC? Number When they say there's no war plans, maybe they just mean that this text image did not include the full package of everything that they knew and everything that they could see and hear on the ground. But there is definitely some details at least about timing that is available. Signal Gate continues.

The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg just released the war plan, that he says, is top secret. This says Dems try and seize their first opportunity to trip up Trump Team 2 that's moving at turbo speed. 47's handling it, and the stand-up move by Mike Waltz to take blame for it certainly might indeed thwart them from actually having to deal with it.

So let me just update you about what's happening. If you see the second half, they said yesterday, for the most part, there was no intelligence of war plans on that text chain. And here's what Pete Hickset said yesterday: cut three. Nobody's texting more plants because I know exactly what I'm doing, exactly what we're directing, and I'm really proud of what we accomplished in successful missions that night and going forward. And he was just training with the Navy SEALs today.

Mike Waltz came out and said: I don't know exactly what happened, how an enemy to the Atlantic, not a friendly to Republicans, a newspaper, and a reporter who specializes on foreign affairs and has written some really skepticism, really suspect articles about President Trump. How he ended up on this text chain leading up to the attack on the Houthi rebels, cut five.

Okay, staffer wasn't responsible. And look, I take full responsibility. I built the group. My job is to make sure everything's coordinated. I mean, I don't mean to be pedantic here, but how did the number of people?

Have you ever had somebody's contact that shows their name and then you have somebody else's number? I'm not going to make those mistakes. Right? You've got somebody else's number on someone else's contact.

So, of course, I didn't see this loser in the group. It looked like someone else.

Now, whether he did it deliberately or it happened in some other technical mean is something we're trying to figure out.

Elon Musk has it right now.

Now, look, there's a couple of things that could have happened. I'll give you an example.

So let's say you have two people named Bill. No last name. Or do uh let's say initials in your phone. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but if you put, let's say that it's TJ, you put TJ in your phone, and then you meet another TJ put in your phone. A couple years later, have a third TJ.

A lot of times when you hit up TJ, they'll be separate. Or they'll consolidate and put all the numbers into one under TJ as if it's the same person.

So maybe There's a JG that we're supposed to be on the text chain. I think the answer is yes. And if that JG goes on the text chain and you hit in the wrong JG, you get the Atlantic magazine guy as opposed to your trade guy. If that indeed was the case, next thing you know, he's in the middle of a text chain. Other people think there's something more devious than that.

I can't make accusations, but there are a lot of people extremely skeptical out of all the reporters Out of everybody that could go on there, you know, from say CNN to MSMBC, this guy is the biggest critic who's already had two damaging stories out there. How does he get on there?

So when you look at the text, just so you know, to get a perspective, I know you're not going to go by Atlantic magazine.

Some of the things on there are disturbing. It has the time line of the attacks. eleven forty four, Hag says posted in the chat, team update. Time now for an attack. Talks about F eighteens being in the air, first packet strike successful, and all the interaction around it.

It just to me, it's not that big a deal because yes, the revelation is a big deal, but the new revelation is not. With me right now is Tom Holman, Borders Are. Tom, welcome back. Hey, Diane, how are you doing? First off, how are you doing?

How many hours a day are you working? Yeah. I haven't had a day off since January 20th, but you know what? I wake up every other day like a kid in a candy store. I'm working for the greatest president of my lifetime.

And we already secured the border. We're going to run the big deportation operation. We're doing what the American people wanted, and I look forward to doing that every morning.

So, how do you see your job? How does it break up? How much northern border? How much southern border? How much about the ICE arrests are you involved in?

How do you break up your responsibilities? I got it all, Brian. The President assigned me, he gave me the lead on securing the border, he gave me the lead on running a deportation operation.

So, I got my hands in everything. That's why I work a lot of hours every day, seven days a week.

So, the border right now, I can relax a little bit in the border since we got the numbers down 96% decline and illegal crossings on the border. Still got my fingers in it, but I spend about 70% of my time right now dealing with interior enforcement operations. I just got back from Boston, kept my promise there, went over there, and we did our thing over there. 370 apprehensions? Yeah, five days.

It was it was a great operation by the men and women of ICE. How did you pull it off in a city that's a sanctuary city like Boston, or is it just throughout the state? Oh, it was Boston and surrounding counties. We went over there last Tuesday. What week ago.

A little over a week ago, I went over the first day I kicked it off, I briefed the operating teams. the importance of the operation and the targeting, and especially they all go home safe at the end of the day, that was our our priority. And they were there for five days, and as I said, 370, most of them are colonels. A lot of serious criminals, uh s child sex predators, uh gun traffickers, narcotics traffickers, uh uh uh child molesters. Child sexual predators, four murderers.

So we really made an impact. And Boston and the surrounding area of Boston, other counties surrounding the area, are much safer. Because the action is device. And I think the governor and the mayor ought to be thanking nice for making our city safer. Governor Healy said some encouraging things, although with Democrats, saying we're not a sanctuary state.

And that they do work. Has she been okay? She proved we proved she was a sanctuary state. There are numerous people in and around Massachusetts sheriffs who release people who should have called ice. For instance, let me give you one example.

They released a person who was convicted of raping a child. They released him, denied the detainer. This wasn't in Boston, it was outside of Boston in Massachusetts. It took us two years to find this first. Ice, because they released him and he went into the wind.

How many children could he have attacked in two years?

So, no, the governor is lying. If he goes to sanctuary state, why isn't she doing something about the numerous? Sheriffs and counties in the state of Massachusetts that won't honor our detainers, won't work with ICE. It's ridiculous. We proved last week.

that she and the mayor of Boston are protecting illegal alien criminals from ICE arrests. And we we just proved it. We just we left a whole bunch of the public safety threats walk in the streets of Massachusetts because detainees weren't honored. Here is Boston Mayor Michelle Woo, cut 40. Every person, every human being has the legal right to come to the United States and seek asylum or shelter.

You agree with that? No, they can seek asylum and we'll be given that option. But here's what people need to know: 90% of people who claim asylum at Southern Border get an order of removal because they don't qualify for asylum.

So they got the due process. Here's the issue. Once they get denied, they're a criminal, should be removed. Then they commit a crime against a citizen. There is no excuse for any mayor, any governor who's elected by their people, whose number one responsibility is protection of their communities.

Why don't you help us remove these public safety threats from the communities? They've had the due process. They've had their day in court. They got to go home. And on top of that, they committed a serious crime against a child.

There's no excuse for that. They should be working with us.

So a couple of things. First off, you make these arrests, 371 arrests.

Okay. Now if you were to arrest me, I would be able to get a lawyer and I would be able to go through and I could push back and whether I'm in jail or not, I'd be able to get a defense. What are they entitled to? As you see it.

Well, it depends. If they already have an order of removal, they're going to be detained and waiting for removal.

So we get a plane played out, that's where they're going. If they want to make a claim, if they want to see an attorney, they can do that. But they're going to be detained. These criminals are no longer walking the streets of this nation.

So the idea is as quickly as possible, remove those, especially those who are fine orders. Once they want to find orders, get them to the court system when they're in detention. If you're not in detention, it could take five, six years for a court hearing. If you're in detention, it takes about 35 days.

So we're going to keep them in detention. They have their day in court. They'll be ordered removed. They're going to be on the next plane out.

So they are no longer going to walk the streets of Massachusetts.

So when I see 269 get on a plane to El Salvador, what do I know they've been through? Had they had their hearing? Have they had their day in court? It depends on the case. I can tell you that every one of those planes were designated terrorists.

Every person with Benzo Willa, I've been told from the highest levels of ICE who did the vetting and did the manifest on that flight. Every Benz and Willa on that flight is a member of TDA. Their president has designated them a terrorist organization. The remaining people on that flight are MS-13. They've been designated terrorist organizations.

So everybody on that flight, number one, were in the country legally. Number two, we're designated terrorists and many were moved through AEA. Right, the president invoked his authorities under the ailing enemies act, which has clear authority to a law written by Congress and signed by the president to remove people under AEA if they're an enemy of this country. That's what happened. They get left due process and regular illegal ailment.

That's the whole purpose of the AEA.

So we follow the law written in statute. We're not making this up. Unlike the last administration, we're actually using the law to enforce immigration laws in this country and to secure the border and remove public safety threats. The last administration, now when they ignore the law, they violated the law on misuse of parole. We're using the statutes, laws on the books.

To do our job, and no one can argue that. Were these judges giving you a hard time? Did you anticipate this? Oh, I anticipated this before we took power January 20th. I knew what happened during the Trump administration.

We get sued every day, and I get personally sued a lot, but we know it's coming. But you know what? We're doing the right thing for the American people. American people voted President Trump in because his number one issue is border security and immigration enforcement. We're going to keep the President's promise.

We are concentrating right now priorities, public safety threats, and national security threats. That's what American people want. That's what we're giving them.

So here is what Congressman Jim Himes equates this to, Cut 39. I think these next couple of days, as we see how this administration goes after the many judges and the many courts, many of these judges appointed by Republican presidents who are stopping the wild and illegal actions of this administration, we're going to see whether we are in a true Jacksonian constitutional crisis. Jacksonian constitutional crisis. Is that what you say? Where was he?

Where was he? Where was he when we the Biden administration brought over ten million illegal animals to this country? Where was he because Biden opened the border up, we got a 600% increase in sex trafficking? Where was he when we got over 400 people on the terrorist watch list come across that border? Where was he when a quarter million Americans died because the open border moved fentanyl in this country?

Shame on him. Where was he when a half a million children were trafficking in this country? They lost track of 300,000 of them. Where was he then now? I stick by what I said.

We are enforcing the law. We're using the laws on the books to make this country safer every day. Every public safety threat, every national security threat we take off the streets makes this country safer. I'm proud of what I'm doing. I work and play the greatest president of my lifetime.

I wake up every day looking forward to wrestling more bad guys and get them out of here. I do too, and I love it. That's one of the biggest success stories I can remember in my lifetime what happened at the border. No one ever predicted this. You need more money.

I know that for sure. Congress is supposed to give to you in the big, beautiful bill. But listen to what Judge Patricia Millette said, one of the three district judges who ultimately decide if we can get more of those illegal aliens who have committed crimes out of our country. Cut 38. There were no procedures in place to notify people.

Nazis got better treatment under the Alien Enemy Act. I mean, that's pretty insulting. Do you get more insulting than that? No, it doesn't. You know, it's just an activist judge who doesn't know what you're talking about.

Read the Alien Enemies Act procedures. We followed every procedure within the Alien Enemies Act. This wasn't done overnight in a quick thought. Hey, let's just go do this. Let's try this.

No. Hundreds and hundreds of hours were spent here at the White House planning what we're doing. Everything we do, we plan very well.

So she ought to read the Alien Enemies Act and talk to the men and women who were involved in that because you know what? We did everything by the numbers. And again, proud of it. And you know, you and as far as the court ruling on stopping us from removing people on the AEA right now, that's fine. But let me tell you, we're going to keep arresting TDA members 24-7 across the country.

We're going to keep arresting MS-13 people. If we can remove them to Title VIII, we'll do it. If we have to hold them to the Enemies Act, then guess what? They're going to be detained and we'll hold it out because they're not going to walk the streets of this nation anymore. We're not going to allow it.

Did you see 60 Minutes Sunday? No, I don't watch sixty minutes. They talked you're not going to believe it. They talked about the northern border being susceptible with a sin Sinaloa Cartel is now ferrying people across. How people are going on Facebook and getting through, and drugs that are getting through.

I actually thought it was on Fox Nation. And I was stunned because it is exactly what Trump and you have been saying: the northern border is a problem. And we're addressing the northern border. Like I said, we're 96% decrease on the southern border. Northern border, we're down about 78%.

We've got more work to do up there. Look, I grew up in the northern border. I grew up right on the Canadian border at St. Lawrence River. I own a lighthouse up there.

So it's personal to me. Believe me, we're all over the northern border. I've been working with the leadership of Canada, the head of the RNCP, my equal, the Canadian Border Czar, the Fentana Czar, the Foreign Minister. I'm working very close with them to address the Northern Border. Will you recommend to the President that he not put tariffs on these countries that they are cooperating?

If they give us what we want, absolutely. Are they? Are they right now? They're moving in the right direction, but they need to do a little bit more. All right.

Tom, you can't do anymore. You're doing fantastic. Please take care of yourself. I worry about burnout. Never, never.

You're not going to shut me up. I'm not going to go away. I got a lot of death threats. I've got a security team around me. I got Virginia State troopers around my house 24-7 because of threats against me and my family.

I'm not going anywhere. You know, you want some, come and get some because you're not going to shut us down. I won't do this. This is, you know, I've done this for 40 years now, Brian. I'm not going to wait till this is fixed.

When we remove every criminal threat in this country, then I'll rest. Until then, I'm going to keep doing them to them. Go get them, Tom Homan. Thanks so much. Appreciate it.

Back in a moment. It's Brian Killmeade. A talk show that's real. This is the Brian Kill Me Show. Hey, welcome back.

Just a quick reminder: History Liberty and Laughs, as everyone who came out in St. Louis, thanks so much for one of the all-time great events. We nearly sold out. I mean, we were sold out, but nearly over capacity, nearly 2,000, 1,700 seats. and then huge VIP numbers.

We already got big numbers now in Dayton, Ohio, so don't be last. WHIO on june twenty first, and that's going to be likely it's going to be carried. You'll get promotional advantages at the very least for Fox Nation.

So it'll be great on stage talking about our history as we come up on year 250 of our past.

So hopefully everyone could could join us out there and One Nation Sundays. At 10 o'clock. We've got a great show that is queuing up right now, including the co-host Quiz. Featuring Lawrence And Ainsley. Head to head, how much the two people who sit next to each other every single day really know about each other.

When we come back, what does Jackie Heinrich know about how big this story is going to be with the signal situation? When you have a president that's not hiding, he's taking all questions.

Meanwhile, his intelligence team under scrutiny and under fire, and the House Committee on Intelligence, big day, don't move. A radio show like no other. It's Brian Killmead. National Security Advisor has taken full responsibility for this. And the National Security Council is conducting an in-depth review.

Along with technical experts working to determine how this reporter was inadvertently added to this chat. The conversation was candid and sensitive. But as the President National Security Advisor stated, no classified information was shared. There were no sources, methods, locations or war plans that were shared. This was a standard update to the National Security Cabinet.

That was provided alongside updates that were given to foreign partners. in the region. That is Tulsi Gabbard in her prepared remarks. Prior to the well, actually, during to kick off the hearings on intelligence of the greatest threat facing America, it was going to be an intriguing thing that people could see in detail what the focus of the administration is and should be, and they could have an interesting give and take, but it's all about this signal app and the conversations that led to the Houthi bombing. And this was just put out by Sean Parnell, who's, I think, communications director with the Pentagon.

It's no surprise that hoax peddlers at the Atlantic have already abandoned their war plans claim. These additional signal chat messages confirmed there were no classified materials or war plan shared. The Secretary was merely updating the group on a plan that was underway and had already Been briefed through official channels. The American people see through the Atlantic's pathetic attempt to distract President Trump's national security agenda. With me right now, one of Washington's finest reporters, Jackie Heinrich.

Jackie, welcome back. Thanks for having me. You're welcome. I know you're doing 20 things. You've got to worry about with the White House briefing.

You're watching the Intelligence Committee hearings and then seeing the back and forth since the Atlantic released part two of their story. What's your take, I guess? On what we now know, and do you think Sean Parnell was being accurate when he said there were no war plans, no war plans there?

Well, I think that what the White House and what the administration is seizing on is just this sort of language change where the initial story yesterday framed what was in those texts as war plans. Their story today, seeing more of the messages, changes the description from war plans to attack plans.

So the White House is taking that as a concession and an admission that the Atlantic oversold the goods, basically. At the same time, there is and will continue to be a debate over whether what was in those texts should be a good idea. have been classified. We know that the Secretary of Defense and You know, has is the ultimate classifying authority on all of this stuff. That has been the testimony from Director Gabbard and Director Patel in yesterday's Senate hearing and today's House hearing.

But what that we didn't hear from them is whether Secretary Hegset declassified that information or when it might have been declassified, and you know, a sort of I guess honest question to have is why wouldn't launch times on a strike mission be classified information, especially when you've got American pilots that are manning these planes and could have had their lives be in danger had this fallen into the wrong hands? I think the other issue is this report came from Jeffrey Goldberg, who is well known to President Trump, has, you know, A long-standing beef that goes back to what the president calls the Russia hoax, the suckers and losers story. I mean, there probably could not be a more hated reporter by the administration to have inadvertently gotten onto this chain.

So it is being perceived by the administration as an effort to distract, but I also think. you know, any journalist who found themselves in that Cat might You know, have the same sort of reaction, like, oh my god, what is it that I'm looking at? And what do I do with this? And is this, you know, i as explosive as it initially appears to be? We don't find ourselves in rooms with these people often and certainly not able to witness their private conversations.

So it's, you know. Still a story, day two. It is. And we're curious to see where this goes in the big picture. How curious are you, Jackie, how much a part of this story is the legitimate mystery?

And I'm sure you got authentic sources too. that they really don't know how this happened. Like they, there's nobody who could really, maybe no one that I've talked to. Or, certainly, the principals that are in the middle of this that really can understand how this name got in there. Have you heard of an explanation are you convinced you know?

Um I'm not convinced I know, and I think that You know, Mike Waltz said that they've got Elon Musk and his team, some of the most brilliant security minds and technical minds looking at this. The explanation we've heard so far is that This reporter's phone number was added to the contact card of another individual in Mike Waltz's phone.

Now, if you have An iPhone, you might have seen contact merging, where if you've received an email from somebody and it prompts you to update their contact information, that can happen. That's happened to the best of us. Usually there's like an approval, like do you want to update this contact? Or it's a suggested number for a contact based on previous outreach or maybe someone shared a contact with you in the past.

So there are a lot of different ways that this might have happened. I think that Mike Wald saying that he's never spoken to this guy and never met this guy, that could still be true, although Goldberg stated in his initial piece that he has met Mike Waltz in the past. That could be, you know. just you're in the same room as somebody and you you've met him, you know, once, It doesn't necessarily mean that Mike Waltz was corresponding with this person or that he's not being honest about that when he says that he wasn't.

So I think we'll just have to wait and see what the final answer is. And we still also don't know who Mike Waltz was trying to add to the chat. He's wanted to keep that information private. Perhaps it's someone with a similar name. Perhaps it's someone who had communicated with reporters before or was in a staff position that that phone number would be in their contacts.

So we will see what the final answer is on that. And the administration said that they are looking into it. All right. So when's the briefing? Today, one o'clock?

One o'clock.

So in your estimation, being that this is more of a variety of news outlets. How much of the Press briefing will be about this. You know, I think that We heard from the President yesterday. Mike Waltz last night on Laura Ingram's show. We're going to hear from Caroline today.

There might be some questions on it. I think most sort of mainstream outlets still do continue to have some questions, even after you've had these intelligence officials testifying on the Hill. There were some questions that they didn't answer directly.

So I'd expect a couple of questions on it. But we're also still dealing with a lot of other news, not limited to the other discussions in that Worldwide Threats hearing about the threats that the country faces. And certainly the White House wants to. you know, change the focus to some of those things. Um kind of worth exploring that's connected to this, but maybe not the the same iteration of what we've seen, is just this debate between the Vice President and the President's staff over the approach that was taken and whether the you know, the the vice president and the the president are We got a glimpse basically into the Fulsom debate around these issues.

And I think it's worthwhile to hear from the administration more about the discussions between the VP and the President. Clearly, the final answer came from the President's team, the President's in charge. But it looked like Vice President Vance was speaking very candidly and having some question about the timing and whether this action was worthwhile and what that means for the U.S. relationship with Europe, U.S. efforts to get Europe to pay up.

I mean, the sort of upshot of all this is Europe is now on notice that if America is going to take action that you benefit from, we're looking for something in return.

So I think that might be like a page two discussion that comes out of this that maybe we can get some answers from them on. I'd be curious to hear what they are myself. Yeah, I'd be very curious too. But we also know this debate in the Republican Party, exactly what we saw in that text chain. It was, should we just worry about it?

ourselves our own borders where should we play a role as a leader of NATO and take and try to do the best we can to disarm some of the bad actors in the region and JD Vance not our problem And pretty much, Stephen Miller seemed to shut it down. Jack, I trust your instincts better by saying the president, we don't have to ask the president again. He made it clear: do it. Right. Right.

Interesting. And then Pete was also very much like Michael Walton, Marco Rubio, as they've said in the past when they had different roles. Absolutely. But I think this is a question that will continue to come up when we face other issues. Does the U.S.

give up NATO command? That's a real question. Question that is being wrestled with. You see Europe right now potentially pitching a 10-year plan to hand off sort of the burden of defending Europe to Europe's major military leaders. They're trying to buy time, basically, to scale up their own defenses and allow the U.S.

to turn its focus to Asia because they believe that there is that sort of Um Current within the administration advocating for less of a U.S. role, you know, manning these things overseas. And then there are sort of the general defense hawks who, for a long time, have said, look, in the absence of American leadership, someone will fill that vacuum. No one else is ready to do it right now. And in the absence of leadership, there could be really terrible consequences that we have to think about.

So I think this is a debate that. you know, is is worthwhile to have because the Vice President shares a perspective, is v you know, shared by some people around the President, but it seems like the President's team and the President himself think about this differently. Even though the President wants Europe to pay, he has, you know, Said that he sees the value of NATO, wants it to do its job, and he's been right about NATO in the past. A lot of the stuff that he was advocating for in his first term has now happened. They've seen the necessity for the things he was calling for before.

But you do have people now saying, well, do we need NATO? Even Elon Musk saying on Twitter, or X, excuse me, why should the U.S. be paying to defend Europe?

So this is something I think is worth. Asking them about and talking about more, because we're going to see it play out in other scenarios in the future. Absolutely. So, real quick, on what you're hearing about the Russia-Ukraine talks, Russia wants some compensation in order to stop fighting in the Black Sea. And we said we're thinking about that, but we're not going to do that.

They want to be back on the SWIFT system. They want some agricultural products. I don't, you know, on the other hand, Ukraine's not asking for anything.

So I'm sure you're noticing this. Yeah, I and they think that, you know, you you hear people like General. Jack Keene saying on our prayer that It's well known to this administration that Zelensky and the Ukrainians have agreed to a ceasefire and would welcome a peace deal that isn't unfavorable to them. They want to get this done. They've really looked to the U.S.

to lead this effort and they Yeah. that this comes through. They're not so sure whether Putin is, you know, playing for time or Really honestly interested in a ceasefire. There's always this sort of concern that he is just trying to gobble up more of Ukraine and sort of put. Russia in a stronger position while this plays out.

And we've seen now a couple weeks go by. Um ceasefire not come together. Um you know On edge because they think you can't trust Putin and they think that a lot we're seeing play out as eps of that. But we haven't seen the administration so far acknowledge that, you know. There is a risk that Russia's playing for time.

I think that they're in a kind of tough scenario where they don't want to, you know antagonize Russia, malign Russia when they're trying to get Russia to agree to a ceasefire and a peace deal, but there is this sort of unstated question mark in at least some of their minds about whether they are being honest, whether Russia is being honest in its dealings with the U.S. and its team as it approaches the Ukrainians.

So we'll see. There have been meetings this week. Monday, Mike Wallace is on the team, on the phone with his Russian counterpart. We had Whitman in Moscow last week.

So hopefully we get more details on whether the U.S. is going to have a deadline, basically, for Russia to say yes or no. And what are the consequences if it's a no? And I'm not sure that we want to spell that out as a country, but I think that that's...

Something they're mulling over right now. I think if each money makes Trump look bad, he's going to have a few things to say. And he's not going to look to he'll be slow to burn with Putin, but he's not going to do a bad deal. Jack, you're doing a great job. Thanks so much.

I look forward to your questions today. Thanks so much, Brian. Always good to be with you. You got it. Back in a moment.

Learning something new every day on the Brian Kill Me Show. The more you listen, the more you'll know. It's Brian Killmead, sponsored by Previgen. Previgen made for your brain. Because we in these hot ass Texas streets, honey.

Um, y'all know we got Governor High Wheels down there. Come on now. And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass man.

So, I'm going to go to the next one. Um So yes, yes, yes, yes.

So the only thing good about the only thing hot about him is a hot ass mess. Who's she talking about? That was the useless Congresswoman who can't get enough of the camera, who just totally embarrassed herself and insulted thousands, millions of people nationwide who happen to be in a wheelchair, one of which was the governor, is the governor of Texas. Since he's 30, he got hit by a tree and a lightning storm or something to that nature. And he says, Mr.

Hot Wheels.

So obviously it was a shot because he's in a wheelchair. It was terrible timing. Unless you're drunk beyond drunk into oblivion, you know how wrong that is. But instead, She says that she didn't say anything wrong. She says her comments during the event held by the human rights uh campaign over the weekend by the way, human rights cam campaign, nice.

Over the weekend, she had denied that she was mocking his disability. She says the story of the Texas governor is one of unwavering resilience that, according to his staff, but not according to her, She came out and said uh and j she says this. One of the uh where is her exact comments? Because I think it's important. She said, after she apparently mocked the governor, she said When public figures Mm.

I got you. Alice, if you could look that up, that would be great.

Okay, here it is. Crockett refused to apologize. Says it's not the first time she mocked him. Listen to other things she has tweeted out. The new nickname I have for Beto O'Rourke is King of the Clapbacks.

Beto is rolling all around the state. Where is Abbott rolling to? Nice. Reshared by Crockett. Rolling up to the White House to cheer on the president, destroying the agency, which makes sure kids in wheelchairs have equal access.

The education is wild. Crockett also says Hot Wheels meets something else, she says. She said that She goes, it keeps making the governor Hot Wheels mad. She said this: At no point did I mention or allude to his condition.

So I'm even more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support Trump, a man who's known for racially insensitive nicknames, enough with this, and mocking those with disabilities, no, no, he isn't. And now outrage, yet another distraction. No, you're the distraction by making these ridiculous comments, and everybody knows it. If you had a brain in your head or you had a communication person by your side, you would know to apologize for that. But instead, the politico writes that dis people with disabilities are insulted.

If the Democrats want to be an inclusive as they claim to be, according to one disability rights person, and ensure that people with disabilities are actually recognized or being welcome under their political umbrella, Then you have to be thoughtful about your words. And when Grocken made that joke, she was really punching down, and she knew that she would just get a laugh. That from Emily Ledeau, a disability rights advocate. Katie Nose, CEO of the Ark of the United States, same thing.
