This show proudly sponsored by Real American Freestyle Wrestling. One of my favorite guests, one of my favorite people actually at Fox from the time I've been here, who's always been supportive and just a fun guy to talk to and a fellow outdoorsman, the great Charlie Hurt. And Charlie, I was watching you on Fox and Friends this morning, and I just want to get right into it, man. Yeah. I was absolutely blown away.
And I know it's Putin and you have to take it, but sometimes I think. The truth itself is way nastier than a lie. Oh, yeah. And his comment about how he had not spoken. To the not just Biden, but the administration in years.
Like that, that to me is troubling. Yeah. And, you know, it's funny because I think something that has always sort of united you and me for since we first met is basically like we come from real places. We're real people and we know people who solve real problems. Yeah.
It's all about common sense. And it's actually not that complicated. It's just basic common sense. And in politics, freaking nobody has common sense. None.
And then out of nowhere comes this guy, Donald Trump, who just is like a normal, who gets normal people, has common sense, and recognizes that, okay, you've got this war going on here. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to, with the best interest of my country at heart, I'm going to go talk to both sides and see what we can figure out. And then he goes over there, and then you find out that one side has never even talked to the other side. And then you wonder how come nobody has been able.
to solve this problem. And what and again, I always look at things from um Like, what the whole perspective is: who benefits? That's always how I look at everything. Who benefits? If and we know based on And you were one of the guys on the front line of this about Biden's ability to speak and comprehend and whether he was fit to serve.
And I think the consensus was he was not.
So I get that I would not if I was his handler, And I knew that he was debilitated or limited, I would not let him speak. To what we consider an enemy or foe, because that type of weakness would expose us. Right. Right. But the other side of it is.
Zelensky also had to know. Right. Was not able, was not fit. I'm sure his conversations were probably filtered. And I'm speculating here, but I guess maybe because the checks were coming in.
You don't You don't ask the question because if, and I guess this is where I'm coming from: if it was my people. If it was my country. And I was having a war, and the guy that I'm going to to help fix this or support me, I can't speak to, or when I do speak to him, I have more questions than answers about his fitness. I would go public. Yeah.
I would be like, this is not fair to my country or me. He's not fit to serve. America is, you need someone who can. Fix this for us.
So, I guess, and again, it's this is just my opinion, but I mean, I just feel like was Zelensky just as long as the checks were coming in? No, I think that's exactly it. I think it's because the checks were clearing. And as long as the checks were clearing, why even think about like asking any questions? And that, again, is another one of these things.
Like, so that's Zelensky's perspective, but also, you know, think about it from like America's perspective. Like, what was Joe Biden thinking? What was the administration thinking? Why do you give away the store when we don't have the store to get? We got problems of our own that we need to deal with.
You want to give away the store, I guess, because you want to keep the clerk in the store. Yeah, and maybe you got an inside line to the clerk. Yeah, exactly. You can just go in and buy anything you want because you know their dirty little secret. But this is the thing that my favorite thing about President Trump: President Trump.
Comes into office and he's the first president I've ever known that was like this. He knows everything happens for a reason. And like you said, like who's benefits? Who's benefiting? It's this, he recognizes that.
And so he starts every single day, every problem he tries to solve, everything he does, he starts from the perspective of. How do I make this something that helps America is an advantage for America? Even if I want to help somebody else, how do I make it so that it helps America? And so he then starts talking about America first. And then what happens to the entire political establishment, even on the Republican side?
Oh, you're a racist. And it's like, you're like, how did that? He didn't say white America first or Asian America first or black. He said America. And even in these meetings that we saw yesterday, where you've got Zelensky talking about these issues, he is trying to, he's never forgetting that if he wants to keep Trump on his side to get what he wants, he needs to come up with ways to make the situation an advantage for the United States of America, whether it's like weapon systems or whatever.
And of course, this was the original crux of the deal for the rare earth minerals in Ukraine. He gets it. And he gets it. Trump. And by the way, that's good.
For him as well, because if America winds up being invested in Ukraine, then suddenly it's like, you know, we have a reason to want to protect the place. Not to mention it's good for Ukrainians because now he's at the table with the president. I think before he was going in, and I think it was a blank check, and he just signed it, and he was able to get whatever he wants, but he wasn't getting. At least I would think he would want he would want peace or or very sim if if Even as bad as Biden was, if he was able to pick up the phone and say, hey, Putin, president to president. You don't cut this.
We're going to stop this. We're going to do that.
So I. I I also think silence is also sometimes a louder Statement than speaking to where America's not saying anything to me, therefore, what are they really up to? But, you know, uh among your many talents, probably the most important one is that you're a great father. Can you imagine, as a parent, Letting your kids Get away with anything. Or even letting my kids negotiate.
Anything. The quickest way to create a terrorist, to create a monster, is to let them negotiate and let them get away with everything. And do whatever they want. And it's such a simple principle that you have to engage. with them and explain to them the sort of like the natural order of things, or they go completely haywire.
And I think that when you have a President of the United States giving away our tax dollars, That we paid we we paid at the point of a gun under the threat of jail time, giving it away for something that while you're not even enforcing your own border, you're spending hundreds of billions of dollars enforcing a border in a country that most of us couldn't find. Like it like I can find Ukraine on a map right now, but you know, if Russia hadn't invaded Ukraine, honestly, I wouldn't, I'm not gonna find it. I'm not familiar with just because I spent. I toured over there and with Snoop, and I was the first WWE match in Russia was very. Myself as the function.
Yeah, a little, well, it's like one of those history things that no one's ever going to know. But, you know, it's not even going to make a textbook. But would you like to? But just a blind test, could you find Poland on a map? Only because I spent so much time over there.
But the average person would not be able to find Pony. The reason why is because I was on tour. Uh with Snoop. We were coming out of St. Petersburg, Russia, when the Georgia stuff kicked off.
No, our tour stopped, and it was tanks when they were on a tour bus. Yeah. And we saw tanks going this direction, and the bus driver, we bust a U-bone and turned the other way. And so, another perfect example: you know, that was under the Bush administration. Like Joe Biden, these people were surrounded.
By the greatest Foreign policy thinkers of our time. John Kerry. There's no greater foreign policy expert to ever come out of Washington, except maybe Joe Biden himself. And Joe Biden, of course, was vice president when Russia took Crimea. You had all of the experts in the Bush administration when Putin invaded Georgia.
And actually, you take all that. You could just flush it down the toilet. Call Don from Queens. Yes. And he walks in and he's negotiating.
Hey, what do you want? Yeah. What do you want? It's like the Irishman when they're sitting at the table. And give nothing.
Tell them some people are concerned. And never give anything away for free. Nothing. And let me, speaking of which, and I'm sure you've probably already heard this this morning. Can we roll one?
I want to get the president in on this. We've had a very successful day thus far and important discussions as we work to end the killing and stop the war in Ukraine. We're all working for the same goal. Very simple goal. We want to stop the killing.
Get this settled. I've uh Just had the honor of being with President Zielinski in all of the discussions that we've had. We covered a lot of territory. I mean, his message is so simple. You don't need to be an epidemiologist to understand.
What the president is talking about. I just want to stop the killing.
However, that looks, however, it works out, however, you want to put it on a piece of paper, guys. Here's the deal: we want to stop the killing. Fill in the blanks. I mean, you can't get, and to your point, and I acknowledge what you said earlier. I hate that to your point.
I'm ashamed of myself that I said it. But the simplicity of it Yes, the simplicity. of the basics of let's let's have p women and children Stop dying, men being forced to be in conscriptions and stuff. The whole tone has changed. Even like people, a lot of people made light of Zelensky showing up in a suit because the first time he showed up.
Just there to pick up a check. And you don't get dressed up when you're there to pick up a check. You walk in. And the guy goes, Where's my envelope? They give you the envelope, and then he'll stop and be like, There's a little light.
Hey, Tony, don't be light next month. You know, and that's the difference. This time he showed up. To try and fix a problem. Why?
Why? Because there were standards. Yes. There were standards. And that has nothing to do with it.
If you have no standards, you get no results. Exactly. The second you start having standards, you. You start getting behavior. One of my favorite things that happened during, I think they kind of laid off it after a while, but in the first Trump term, was the New York Times would take a speech that Trump gave or remarks Trump made and put it into some program that would evaluate the language and then analyze it Like what grade level language it was.
And Trump Usually speaks at a sixth grade level. And they would always point to that and laugh at him and mock him and talk and say how stupid he is and how ridiculous he is and all this kind of stuff. I'm you and I are sitting here going. How do I do that? No, I think I do.
And I think we do. I think that's why we get along. I think to make it plain. as possible. To where everyone understands.
The lower it is, the more people who understand it. It's effective. Yeah, and it's effective. And so that's why you have a. That's why you have a landslide election.
Yeah. Because everyone understood. Whether you were a scientist. Or you were a guy who was just working at the Cracker Barrel, which is a delicious breakfast, wonderful pancakes. Either way, you understood what he was saying.
And whether you like it or not, The the the the line cook at a cracker barrel? His vote counts just as John Kerry's. Yes. And so if you're not talking to him, you may as well be not talking to John Kerry's. We saw that happen when you only talked to the elites.
Yes. Yeah, exactly. Kamalamala. You don't think she wished she learned how to talk to a line cook now? Or tell him he's been unburdened by what has been say whatever, say whatever you want to about Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton knew how to talk to a line. He could talk to a line cook. Yeah, he could. And even though he loves, yeah, he loves people. He loves certain people a little bit more than he should, probably.
Yes, he can't talk slick to a wife. He can flip over to his wife, who is, by the way, only in the position she got to because she was married to him. She married well. She couldn't talk to anybody except academics. I think she was.
Well, she's bitter. And then now she's. I mean, yeah, I mean, and she's got some things to be bitter. And I said on the gut fill tonight, after the comment she made about. The kids walking, taking subways to school.
She's a little out of touch. I said, you know, now the cheating doesn't seem like such a bad character flaw. Like, that's your morning, like, that's that mean person.
So I think, but so you're it's exactly what it is. To make fun of someone that he speaks to where everyone can understand, but don't get it wrong. He may sound like a sixth grader, but Putin understands every Every bit of force. In his wars. In when he speaks, they listen.
And even if your English is a little broken, it makes sense. If you look at the history of Putin's invading of other countries, there is. A dark two dark spots, and those two dark spots where it never happened. When Donald Trump was president, Because as Trump, and I know he said this to you personally as well, you know, he. Trump threatened Putin?
If you invade, this is what's going to happen. And as Trump says, you know. You know, he didn't think I was serious, but there was. 10% of them that thought maybe I just might be that crazy. Because America, listen, we're going to go to a break here, but America, it's simple.
No one's going to remember Socrates' line, but they remember I'll be back. You know what I'm saying? Like, America is very basic. If you've got a cool catchphrase, it carries weight. We'll be back after this on the amazing episode with Charlie Hurt on the Brian Kilmead show.

Oh man, what is going on? We got a coyote problem. They are excited. And it's funny, you know, they really do come in waves. We didn't, I mean, early part of the summer, we didn't hear them at all.
They weren't coming up on the cameras. And boom, like that. They're everywhere on every camera. You hear them at night, and they're snatching birds. And I'm sorry, but you know, it's weird because they are dogs.
Yes. And I love dogs more than I love most humans. But um Coyotes are a different, they're a different thing. You know, and the cool part about coyote: if you shoot one, you shot the dumb one. Yeah.
You know what I'm saying? Like, so true. It's like rats in the sea. Yes, yes. You only see the dumb one.
It's only, it's going to be in the next year or two. We're going to see rats like driving like SUVs in New York City because they just keep getting like, we keep calling the dumbest ones.
Well, we're seeing, you know, and you're an animal guy like me. Like, we're seeing in the ocean new behaviors, right? And the newest thing is that killer whales are attempting to feed fishermen. They're trying to figure us out. They're trying to figure out how we tick.
Yeah. You know, and it's. And uh Yeah, they're outsmarting us because we because we have socially engineered it so that we keep getting the dumbest three every single and then and of course the other thing is they have a generation for them a generation for us is whatever you know what 15 years at least maybe 30 years generation for them is like six months yes they start you know then you got another generation and you can you can change things fast California I grew up with coyotes and I remember they used to send their their females down in heat to draw the dogs up to the hills where the coyotes wait on them that's pretty clever so we never were in southern Virginia we never had coyotes and uh but they arrived filling the void left because wolves got exterminated yeah and see and that's also what happens with open borders we got foreign coyotes everywhere this has been the great Charlie Horde and Tyrus we'll be back after this I'm Janice Dean.
