This is the number one story all weekend long. Anti-ice protests raging in Los Angeles for the third straight night as rioters take to the streets by the thousands, yup, clashing with law enforcement of all kinds, wreaking havoc in the city that's used to havoc. These violent mobs pouring into the freeway, though, blocking traffic in both directions.

And police say they're even throwing pieces of concrete and glass at officers who are just trying to diffuse the situation. Whose streets? Our streets. Whose streets?

Our streets. When Trump says get back, we say fight back. When Trump says get back, we say fight back. President Trump sending in troops to help him restore law and order, the National Guard. But, of course, Governor Gavin Newsom, who's been MIA, doesn't want any part of it. He says this is all the president's fault, saying they didn't have a problem until the president, Donald Trump, got involved.

And now he's demanding the president rescind his deployment of the National Guard. About 2,000 arrived this morning. You know who's been there every step of the way? Christina Coleman, live in Los Angeles with the very latest to give a sober assessment about what's happening as it's unfolding. Christina, how do you characterize what we're seeing? Well, I definitely would not characterize this as peaceful as some Democratic leaders are calling these protests. I mean, they have gotten very violent this afternoon. Just take a look to the right of me here. You can see this line of law enforcement officers here protecting some of the federal buildings in this area that have been tagged up with vulgar slurs and all kinds of graffiti for people demanding that ICE release.

Whoever they arrested since Friday during the raids. And if you take a look at this other direction, you can see some of those protesters there in the intersection just kind of sitting there. You can also see smoke. That's because some of the Waymo vehicles were set on fire.

Take a look at this video. This is just from moments ago. You know, there's a number of Waymo vehicles here in the downtown area near the federal building where the anti-ICE protests have been taking place. They've been spray painted. They have vulgar slogans on them. And at least two of them have been set on fire. There's maybe more at this point.

And also take a look at this. This is video of protesters storming the highway. They were on the 101 southbound this afternoon, causing even more of a scene. And on Friday, over 1000 rioters surrounded and attacked the federal building as protesters tried to stop ICE agents from carrying out their operations, arresting those with final orders of removal by an immigration judge that had not complied with that order. Now, DHS officials say one of the illegal aliens they arrested in LA is a gang member with a murder conviction who shot up a high school graduate party after a dispute killing two teenagers and injuring seven others. But still, some protesters want federal authorities to release everyone who has been arrested during the immigration raids that again took place here Friday in the LA area.

Also, take a look at this. This afternoon, law enforcement deployed tear gas and used rubber bullets and flash bangs to stop some of the violent protesters. Some of them hurled bottles at law enforcement.

I'm not sure what kind of fluid was in them, but that just, you know, speaks to the chaos that was going on out here. And we also want to say we have sound from Governor Gavin Newsom will actually rather LA Mayor Karen Bash. She addressed some of this in a press conference this evening.

Take a listen. What we're seeing in LA is chaos caused by the administration. People should exercise their right to protest. That's their First Amendment right.

But people should also exercise that right peacefully. We do not want to play into the administration's hands. And I join with the governor in appealing to the administration to rescind the order to federalize the National Guard and allow the National Guard to come back under the control of the governor.

The Trump administration is clearly filled differently. White House spokesperson saying California's factless Democrat leaders have completely abdicated their responsibility to protect their citizens. And as you can see, this chaos here continues and we will continue to monitor this situation. Back to you.

Great coverage, Christina. Stay safe. I want to get some more perspective on this and let's bring in former LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva. Sheriff, your thoughts about a city that you used to be in charge of. How do you feel the governor and the mayor are handling this as opposed to the way the president choose to handle this?

That one word just took out right now, factless, but this is factless on steroids. When the governor's insisting, oh, let us handle this. Well, actually, when ICE agents came under attack because they were doing their job, they appealed to local authorities that helped them and they declined to assist. That is both the LAPD and the LA County Sheriff. And the sheriff is the one who is responsible for mutual aid in LA County during times of unrest.

And what do they do? Nothing. So the ICE agents did what they were supposed to do. They appealed to their federal superiors and they got the help they needed from the National Guard that is now federalized. But had the sheriff and the LAPD chief done their job when they were supposed to and suppressed the riot, there would not be any federalized troops.

They would be under the control of local law enforcement. But that's not part of this paradigm, this weird bubble that the Democratic leadership in California thinks they can operate under. Who's happy about this, Sheriff? I mean, do you think the citizens of Los Angeles are happy that they are making ICE to be the bad guys where illegal immigration and some of the criminals they've picked up look like the worst of the worst? They're trying to make LA safer and the mayor and governor say, we got this, which means we ignore illegal immigration in our city.

We liked it that way. Oh, no, exactly. What they believe is that the open border policy is the Biden administration. They try to basically ratify it with these sanctuary policies, thinking they were untouchable because now we're a sanctuary county, city and state. But reality kicked in with the new administration and actually enforcing the rule of law in all of this.

Oh, my God, this is an outrage. I'm not buying that. And the residents, the good residents of LA County are not buying it either. They're not the ones with the megaphones and the bricks throwing stuff at cops. Sheriff, I saw the highway patrol was trying to reopen the 101. I also saw the cops seem to be late to help, as you saw, to help out the National Guard as to help out ICE. If I was to ask a cop individually, where would they want to be right now?

Would they want to be standing shoulder to shoulder with the guard and ICE or would they rather be steps away like the mayor wants them away from this? Oh, they want to be where the problem is in protecting their community, protecting their fellow law enforcement officers and getting the job done. And if they've I mean, the lesson learned from 1992, the riots in 92, if you don't intervene swiftly, decisively at the onset, it only gets progressively worse.

So it's actually, you know, everything they're doing is going to backfire on them. And this is all a failure of leadership right at the feet of the governor, the mayor and the sheriff of LA. So that's a perfect entree to this soundbite from a woman who made her name in the 92 riots by acting totally out of control for the rioters.

And that's Maxine Waters. Listen to what she tried to do. What are you going to do? You're going to shoot some kid who's afraid of doing what? You're going to shoot an electric official? If you shoot me, you better shoot straight. I don't know why you're in my city.

The governor was not contacted. This is Trump and his outrageous attempt to not only target our sanctuary city, but to frighten us and intimidate us. This is Trump and I hope that none of you will use those guns to shoot anybody. Does she speak for the people of the city that you know, the one that she's supposed to represent as she sits in her mansion on the outskirts of the district that she represents? Oh, hell no. She's been in Congress for over three decades. And has she fixed immigration laws that would make everyone happy?

No. And now her idea is, oh, sanctuary policies, we must somehow at the federal level honor a state or local mandate, which is not going to happen. So this is just disgraceful from this congresswoman. Sheriff, I wish you were still in charge. I think that we really had a sense that there was somebody there who cared about law and order. Unfortunately, people are electing different people right now. And hopefully people of Los Angeles see that President Trump is trying to make their lives better. Don't listen to your governor who thinks he's making it worse, in my view. Thanks so much, Sheriff, for your time. Now let's go over to somebody who also knows California quite well, former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy.

You have so many reasons to want to weigh in here, Congressman. Put your thoughts about what's happening in your city right now. It's so depressing. I mean, you're seeing bricks being flown.

You see fire. You've watched our leadership from Gavin Newsom to the mayor when it became fires and others. They let people take over these cities, and now they're arguing against. One of the things that hurts the most, if you look at these individuals literally throwing bricks and trying to harm law enforcement just from doing their job. But what flags are they waving? Are they waving an American flag for that peaceful protest or even a California flag?

These are Mexican flags that are being raised. This is what happens when you have sanctuary cities. This is what happens when you have Gavin Newsom, who not only encourages illegal immigration, he incentivizes it by giving you free health care, but taking away from Californians, but providing it to illegals.

And then he allows them to take over cities. This is not the California we knew and loved. This is why so many people have left.

Mr. Speaker, first off, you are seeing a difference. Remember Kenosha in Wisconsin? Let it burn. Minnesota, let it burn. That's what happens.

People got to blow up some steam. The president this time did not hesitate. We're seeing two different philosophies. Do you think the American people who say, who the majority say are 54% are in support of the president's deportation program? And we know over 50% are also in support of the president's board of policy. Do you think they're happy with the Republican president, even in a Democratic city?

What would they, what do you think they prefer? I'll tell you, they want to see law and order. And when the governor says that this is caused by administration, he's right, just the wrong administration. This was Joe Biden opening up our borders. And now when you want to live with law and order, look what the chaos has created. Fires and others trying to take over a city.

This is right. You know, President Trump has the right authority. Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution.

He has a responsibility to care for the individuals. I really want to see, maybe Congress needs to look in. Why didn't the sheriff and the police come to the defense of those federal officers who needed the help? Were they told not to by political officials? Were they detained from coming and providing security to allow a city to burn and people be injured and hurt?

That would be an interesting question to get answered here. So Gavin Newsom has been tweeting, he doesn't do anything, he doesn't show up. But he says this, inciting and provoking violence. This is where he says Trump's a dictator, creating mass chaos. This shows he's a dictator, militarizing cities, arresting opponents. These are the acts of a dictator, not a president. The president's also saying, I'm just going to hold back funds from this state almost entirely.

How does this end? Look, I think Gavin Newsom has spent more time on a podcast than he has been trying to protect California. You watch when the fires broke out in Southern California. He couldn't do anything and he let those continue to burn. You watch when the cities get taken over.

He lets them burn. Isn't it time to represent the individual who lives in California, the taxpaying individual that has worked so hard that wants their children to be safe walking down the streets? They have taken over freeway 110 going through there. They have now taken over communities, throwing bricks. People do not feel safe. Get off your podcast, show the leadership, and make the streets of California safe again.

You also called out Pete Hegseth. He says the secretary of defense is now threatening to deploy active Marines on American soil against its own citizen. It's deranged. Hegseth came back and says deranged is allowing your city to burn and law enforcement to be attacked. There is plenty of room for peaceful protest, but zero tolerance for attacking federal agents who are doing their job. So he's calling out the secretary of defense.

He's calling out the president while all hell is breaking loose. Last question to you. How would it be different if this was not a sanctuary state and if Los Angeles wasn't a sanctuary city? Well, they wouldn't be overrunning the city like they are today. The thing that you would have seen here is a real leader, a real governor would have sat down with the police department and the sheriff, put together an order to get in and protect those streets, not let them burn for three days and go on, and wouldn't push the problem to somebody else. You would have had streets that were safe, not run by homelessness, not bricks being delivered to be able to be thrown.

You would have security and safety throughout. Jesus, no respect for law enforcement. That same attitude of defund the police, that they say that they're over that, they don't believe in that.

But time and time again, I don't see any Democrat standing up and saying, I want to get law and order on those streets. Not a word. Thanks so much, Kevin McCarthy.

Great to talk to you. Meanwhile, Jonathan Gilliam, former FBI special agent and Navy SEAL joins us now. Jonathan, if I put you over there with a face shield, what would you be doing right now?

You don't want to ask me that question because I'd probably end up getting myself in trouble, Brian. But but here's a reality to say. I'm so glad that Kevin McCarthy was on and said what he said about those bricks being placed, not just being thrown, but bricks being placed, because what we're seeing here is a breakdown in leadership by the governor and the mayor. And I would even say the chiefs of police around that area and the sheriff and those two individuals, the chief and the sheriff's. They are are taking unlawful orders.

It's the same as if I was in the military and someone told me to do something that was unlawful and I did it. That's what they're doing when they fail to protect the public because a politician told them to stand down when riots are happening. That all of that encompasses why the president has acted because of a failure of leadership by the governor, the mayor, the chief of police, the sheriff and all these individuals. They have failed again to protect this area and the public safety and the federal law enforcement officers that are out there doing their job. It must just kill you to see these cop cars being thrown bricks at and defiled and they're spitting into the cars and on the windshields.

Just see a bill. We got a profile of some of the people that ISIS picked off the streets today. You got this or days guy, Mexican national gang member, sexual battery receiving stolen property. Aggie are a previously deported Mexican national gang member, convictions for assault and deadly weapon.

I can go on two or three pages deep. So the people there are upset that we're pulling these people out and they're people that they're with out of the country. It's the only way to create law and order. My feeling is what I'm getting from you, Jonathan, is you're calling on these cops to ignore their leadership and stand by the National Guard and stand by ICE.

Well, somebody, Brian, somebody has to take control in situations like this. This could spread across the country. And we've seen it before, where chiefs of police and sheriffs do not take public safety into their own hands when there is no action by politicians. We have to remember, law enforcement goes through academies to learn their craft.

They learn about the law. A lot of these politicians, they've never done anything in their life except run for office. Now they're there. Gavin Newsom is a perfect example that now they're there. They're in that position and they do not know how to lead. And they're also leftists who swear more allegiance to their party by and trying to make Donald Trump look bad in this situation than they are in protecting the public.

Same thing happened in the fires. It's happened in other riots that they've had here. And I want the public to know there. Yeah, I believe I'm a constitutionalist.

I've taken the oath to to support and defend the Constitution numerous times. But this is not the First Amendment. This is not peaceful protest and right to assemble. These are riots. They are dangerous.

They could cause fires and individuals are getting hurt and sometimes killed because of this. Jonathan, is it organized besides on the Internet, the way they can on Instagram or tick tock, they can instantly assemble. But do you get the sense this is being financed and organized? They're picking out places in a way to try to destabilize law enforcement, unbalanced. I know for a fact from an investigative standpoint, just looking at the video that you showed today, the individuals that are up front at the front of the line wearing the same helmets, the same clothes, talking on their phone and working the crowd. Those people.

That's not something that you just pick up on the fly because you're angry about some deportation issues. Those are people that are trained. We've seen the same tactics, techniques and procedures, the same outfits, the same people across the country. It's absolutely funded in the Democrat Party even said so back in after the 2020 election. They did an article in The New Yorker, I believe it was, or The New York Times, and they they talked about how they could start a party, a protest or a any other type of event within two hours anywhere in the country.

They said that. And we've seen proof of it, except it always goes to the point of violence, because ultimately, Brian, this is very important. This is terrorism. It's just they're not using killing to further fear to get people to force people to do things. They're using altruistic, the greater good, quote unquote, so that they can convince people that they are righteous. And they're still using violence, force, intimidation, all for a political aim. That's terrorism.

All right, Jonathan, thanks so much. The Rodney King riots were two days. This is already in three days. Meanwhile, still to come of foreign influence running rampant on college campuses. We're going to tell you and let you meet one college president that knew how to do it right.

Brian, kill me. One nation. This is.

Welcome back. College campuses across the country, especially your leading institutions, facing a real crisis. Nowhere is it more evident than at Harvard, which is in the middle of an open standoff where they're suing each other. I'm talking about the White House, Harvard, known as a party school.

Yep. The Communist Party School, that is, according to the Chinese, because so many sons and daughters of officials choose Harvard. How would Mitch Daniel solve this? The former president of Purdue University, where campus riots did not break out, by the way. His leadership leaving a lapse of lasting impact, notably implementing a tuition freeze ending 36 straight years of rising costs. He was also the White House budget director under George W. Bush and served two terms as governor of Indiana.

A man recognized as one of the 50 world's greatest leaders by Fortune magazine. Governor Mitch Daniels joins us now. Governor, great to see you.

Thanks so much for joining us. We thought about you right away when all these riots were breaking out in college campuses. What's your reaction?

How would you have handled it? I think some very swift implementation of rules that I think most of these campuses had on their books already. They just declined to enforce them. You know, a few prompt expulsions I think would have served as an effective message and probably limited the damage that happened.

But I think we've seen some greater fortitude in the more recent rounds. And I hope that's a precursor of more responsible adult behavior in in higher ed leadership in the future. So, Columbia, they wanted their 400 million dollars unfrozen.

So they said, Mr. President, what do we have to do? Harvard says you do this and I'm going to sue you. Who had the better approach?

I don't like either approach, particularly. Brian, you know, higher ed has brought these problems on itself. And I thought my attitude is that has always been sort of physician heal thyself. But higher ed has been in too many places, at least sanctimonious and and self-righteous and even an arrogance. And I think now that some institutions are feeling the net, the rather natural recoil from that in my hope is still that.

And I do think we see some signs of this, that leadership of higher ed or in some cases, new leadership will begin to correct some of the excesses of the past, preserve a system which, with all its faults, has been a major asset for this country and I hope will continue to be. Here's what Condoleezza Rice said. As you know, she's running the Hoover Institute over at Stanford, where she's still teaching.

Watch. Universities have made a lot of mistakes, including in the way that reacting to October 7th, you know, our kids chant from the river to the sea is some of them don't know from what river to what sea. And so we have failed in terms of educating them about the Middle East, educating them about history, where we still talk about oppressors and oppressed, colonizers and colonized. So she thinks a lot of it is naive students who may be falling victim to faculty with an agenda.

As usual, Condi Rice has it, you know, I think on the money here, you know, that people worry about and they should. College students being indoctrinated, taught what to think as opposed to how to think, that's a real problem that needs addressing. But I can tell you that many students arrive at college these days miseducated. Our K-12 system has been infected with some of the same, you know, frankly, intellectual rot that we worry about at higher ed. So it's not to excuse anything that these students did, but as Condi said, many of them don't have a clue what they're talking about and therefore reach some unsupportable conclusions.

Absolutely. So let's talk about foreign investment into these higher institutions and let's look at some of the schools and how they're benefiting. Cornell from Arab nations, $2.1 billion. Georgetown, $934 million. Texas A&M, $910 million. Carnegie Mellon, $900 million.

So some of the Middle Eastern countries, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others, UAE, pouring money into these schools. Are you comfortable with this? No, I can't relate to it particularly either because we were not interested really in those sorts of relationships. I turned down a few during my years at Purdue. I just didn't see it consistent with our mission or necessary, frankly, for us to pursue our mission.

So there's no such money there. I just think those people who accepted it, I hope, have put some clear conditions and boundaries around it and are watching to make certain that their researchers and their students are not being influenced or pressured in any way. President of the United States wants to crack down on the amount of international students, especially Chinese students, coming into our country because of the spying on things that have taken place. He also is upset, and I don't blame him, that 27 percent of the student body at Harvard, for example, is foreign.

Does he have a right to be upset? Do you think that there should be limitations? How many foreign students go to these elite institutions as opposed to American kids? Again, as in other cases, I think the indictment is correct.

The punishment or the remedies may be a little clumsy and go too far. Here, Brian, much as in the case of trade, I think we have to view China in a different category from most of the rest of the world. I can just tell you that at the university I served, long before any of this started, years before, we began shifting, making certain our student body was almost entirely American or certainly had very few Chinese students in it. There are different reasons to do this. One is because that was our duty as a public institution. I thought to train Americans to strengthen this country's future, there are also the espionage issues and so forth. But again, I would not restrict meaningfully the number of students from Europe, from Latin America, from India.

China is a different story. I hear you. Governor, President Perdue, former OMB director, there's nothing you haven't done. Mitch Daniels, thanks so much for your time and insight. Next, I gave the VCR the cords and the tapes. Yes, the media moments that matter and I gave it to Emily Austin. She's here to do the honors. What's in that folder?

Don't move and you'll find out. My everything, even when I'm hurt, I keep on working. Yep, enough said. Time for our favorite segment of the week. Each week I give one person my VCR, my tapes and my cords and I say, tape everything possible and tell me what the media moments that matter the most is all about. Emily Austin, you took the assignment again. Good job. What did you come up with? Anything? I know you watched a lot, you rewound a lot. What do you have? Anything.

Where do I draw the line? CNN's Christiane Amanpour compares traveling to the US under President Trump as a foreigner to visiting North Korea. Listen to what she said. And I have to tell you, when I went to Harvard to give this speech and it was just a few days ago, last week, I must say I was afraid. I'm a foreigner. I don't have a green card. I'm not an American citizen. I'm fairly prominent and I literally prepared to go to America as if I was going to North Korea. I took a burner phone, Jamie.

Imagine that. I didn't take a single, not my mobile phone, not my iPad, nothing. And I had nothing on the burner phone except a few numbers and I could text with my assistant. I had your number. I had our son's number. I had our lawyer's number, you know, the CNN lawyer.

And I was really afraid. So I guess that's our ex-husband, Jamie Rubin. What are you talking about? She's afraid to come to America with her iPad and laptop? Brian, do you know her? I would love to offer her to get to North Korea. Just have her vlog comparing and contrasting the two. You have to watch her show on CNN on weekends. It's so anti-Israeli. It is so anti-American. You wonder why the sound's even up for CNN.

But were you done with just one and done or did you come up with something else that bothered you? We got two more in the bag. USA Today quietly updates their fluff piece on the Boulder terrorist's daughter.

I'll show you the original one first. Boulder suspect's daughter dreamed of studying medicine. Now she faces deportation.

An updated one is Habiba Soleiman wanted to be a doctor. Then her father firebombed Jewish marchers in Boulder. So we have the horrific shooting on Sunday. And not only does the president want him gone, but he wants his family gone. They all overstayed their visas.

And immediately USA Today goes, oh, my heart goes out to the kids. Well, your dad's a terrorist. You're from Egypt.

You spent 20 years in Kuwait. Did you know about this horrible anti-Semitic behavior from the leader in your own family? I mean, I feel like they expected our pity. Her father should have thought about the consequences of committing a terror attack on a country you're not even legal in before doing such a thing.

She doesn't have my pity, but she has the media's pity, as all terrorist groups do. But Emily, what I think is great is there's so much pressure on USA Today to fix it, right? Because that wouldn't have happened, I don't think, 10 years ago. People just won't tolerate this. So eventually they got it right.

But it scares me that their instincts is to get it wrong. A fluff piece on the terrorist's daughter instead of the victim's. Unbelievable. Classic. All right, Dave Chappelle, he was the man that deserves so much credit for pushing back against political correctness, correct?

Yeah, listen to this. Dave Chappelle says SNL writers were in tears after Trump's 2016 win. When they called Donald Trump the winner, that **** shut the writers' room down. You should have seen them in there. The first one or the second?

The first one. Boy, they was crying like black people. Yeah. That's good.

They're not like black people, but you know what I mean? They couldn't believe that this was happening. I knew it the whole time. Yeah, I did because you live in Texas and I live in Ohio, but in 30 Rock it looked like Hillary Clinton was going to win.

So how amazing is that? If you watch the show, you know they have a, they never used to, they used to be maybe center left, but they were way left. He remembers walking into the writers' room on SNL. Instead of running comedy, they are in tears because Trump beat Hillary Clinton. I mean, can it really come as a surprise that SNL writers are suffering from TDS? I don't think so, but I hope we find the cure ASAP because now that mask is off. But you'd think they'd learn to cope. It doesn't seem like that. Right. In fact, here is Dave Chappelle.

Remember back in 2016, everybody was all upset, especially in Hollywood amongst the elite. He wanted to stand up and did his open. I've been wishing Donald Trump luck and I'm going to give him a chance. It's kind of cool. He did it.

He was open to it. He feels as though that didn't age well. I personally feel like it did age well. I feel like it just comes off very emotionally mature. It's okay to update your opinions as time progresses. I mean, being conservative in Hollywood is pretty cool these days. Right.

It's cooler than it ever was, but I don't think it will ever be fully accepted. Emily, great job. Thank you. Do you mind leaving the VCR for my next contestant?

Like my fourth time? I still don't know what that is. Absolutely. Thanks for playing along.

Almost. Up next, being conservative in Hollywood, not as hard as it once was. Yellowstone star Neil McDonough, now on Tulsa King, knows a thing or two about the MAGA going mainstream when it comes to movies. He's got a big announcement and a response for the White House. He joins One Nation. So who do you want to start with?

The one he loves the most. You've asked me that. Jose, can you see? Wait a second. The first word is Jose? I thought it was Jose. We know. Wow.

It's about a Spanish guy. Jose, can you? You must be doing something right. Look. God, I'm so confused. I'm firing on the third gun.

We better blow this thing before they figure out what the hell's happening. All that tough talk, Beth. I've got the cure for that. We'll see how tough you are after I give it to you. Challenge accepted. I don't want to sign down a line, but if I were you, I'd stay in my own lane, whichever one that is.

I just got here. What does that mean? Is there a problem? There wasn't.

Until there was. Wow. You know the face? You felt his piercing stare. Neal McDonough has been a force in film and TV for over three decades, known for his iconic tough guy roles.

In his new movie, The Last Rodeo, the actor steps into the spotlight a hero. This ain't the senior circuit. Good luck.

You're going to need it. Joe Wainwright competing at over 50 years. I'm grandfathering in right now.

You're right about that granddad part. As co-writer and co-producer, McDonough incorporated the real-life inspiration of people putting their lives at risk and letting faith decide, forgetting about age. He's experienced his own trials and tribulations, losing everything after being blacklisted in Hollywood over his faith and morals, but he's still standing strong. And joining us now with his story of faith and more, including this story of his film, and he's on the set of Tulsa King now, is Neal McDonough. Neal, welcome. Thanks so much for joining us. Tell me about the genesis of The Last Rodeo. Brian, first of all, thanks for having me on your show. I love your show and everything you stand for and what you're talking about, so thank you for what you do for the United States of America.

You're just awesome. The Last Rodeo was a film that I started writing about two years ago, and it all came from this thought of, what would ever happen to me if something happened to Rivet, my wife? And I pulled over to the side of the road on the 10 freeway, and this idea popped into my head. Rocky on a bull for a guy who has to go back and save his grandson from the same brain tumor that his wife is dying from.

And I had no idea where that came from, so I'm fairly certain it was a gift from above. And then I started writing, and two years later our film is out, and it's doing amazing. And the reviews, everything has been just, it's been fantastic. I finally get to do a film where I'm the hero, I get to kiss the girl in the end, of course, that girl I get to kiss in the end is my wife Rivet. And I made a movie that's really about America and really about the heartland of America, and we're so, so proud of it. Oh, there's my love. Hi, honey. There you are.

You have a monitor. But Neil is doing extremely well. What does that tell you? It tells me that America, especially the heartland, who I think their voice has not been heard very much for the last decade or so, I think they're coming out to the theaters now and supporting because they love to be able to go to a film where they can bring the whole family, see a great film, have a message, and leave the film inspired to be better. And that's what we did with this film, and John Avnet, the director, pulled out all the stops. This is an $8 million film that looks like a $50 million film, and we just crossed $12 million in the box office, and it's still pumping. It's the word of mouth that's been fantastic, so if you love these types of films, go out and support it. Go out and buy tickets to this film and tell Hollywood it's time to make films that really are about the heartland, about the families of America. So that's what we're doing. And, Neil, by the way, you could be on the cover of Muscle and Fitness as part of the promotion.

You're in unbelievable shape. The inspiration, of course, working shoulder to shoulder with Sylvester Stallone, who also loves to work out. You had this idea called MAGA Movies. You said, hey, what about a channel that is just pro-American, patriotic?

There's so many out there. Where did the idea come from, and what did the White House say? Well, it was interesting. The White House got word of the film, and some fantastic people within the White House called and said, there are a lot of people who are supporting this film and really love it. The president is going to look at it soon, and hopefully he gives it his blessing, but I thought, hey, here's a great idea.

Let's start our own streaming service, MAGA Films, films that are TV shows or podcasts or anything that are really just pro-America. And they love the idea, and we're going to get that going, and that's something that I'll be very proud of to start with my wife, Rave and our team that we have, Kip Kahnweiser and everyone else, and it's really just kind of a fantastic time right now in the McDonough household. And going back to being in shape, especially here with Stallone, where he is the embodiment of physicality and being in shape. What I did last rodeo, I worked so hard. I had this great product called Flip My Life, which we were talking about earlier. This isn't a commercial for Flip My Life, but these are the things that really got me shredded. Everyone's like, did you use steroids?

Did you use this? I'm like, no, I worked my tail off because my wife, Rave, made sure I was up early every morning working really hard with my partner, Scott St. John, who's my trainer. And Flip just changed me, and now I'm in the best shape I've been in my life, and I'm 59 years old, so it can happen. All right, and you can definitely take me in a fight. That's pretty clear. More on that later. But, Neil, quickly. I don't know about that, Brian. I don't know about that. Yeah, that's right.

I beat Lawrence in a plank. But, Neil, real quick, are you worried about Hollywood? Are you worried about bringing films back to America that Trump wants to do, but the dollars and cents don't add up these days? I think if you just make really good films, that's where you start from, and that's what we're doing at the McDonough Company. We're making really good films that have a backdrop of faith, have a backdrop of America, and really talk about the family core values of what it is to be an American. And I love writing to that, and I'm not going to stop making these films. And with the amazing Angel Studios, we've done three films, and all three films combined have been about $19 million, and they've just crossed $60, $65 million in the box office. Nice. That's a pretty darn good return. So what does that say?

America wants content where they can feel like it isn't so dark, it has light to it, it amplifies the light like Angel says, and you leave the theater feeling better. So that's what we're doing. The people are loving it, so why should I stop now? And now, Neil, I've got to send you back to the set. Stallone just texted me. They need you on the set for the latest, the end of this season on Tulsa King. Thanks so much for your time. Congratulations on the last rodeo. Brian, come down anytime you want.
