I don't know how many of you are not so happy. But what do we do now? Hey, what we do now as Christians is we go back to what we should have always been doing, and back to what we always should be doing. That is living out our faith, being salt and light and the culture.
What does that mean? Well, light means we let people know we're believers in Jesus, also our good works. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Be salt. In the first century, salt stopped the rotting process, so a Christian in culture, we speak out against what is wrong and speak up for what is right. We pray for people. We pray for our nation. We pray for a spiritual awakening. So the Great Commission's still in the Bible.
Last time I checked, at least. Matthew 28, Jesus says, Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you to the end of the age. Let's get on with that. That's what we're commanded to do by Christ Himself.
