What a voice. He's sold over 75 million records. But not too long ago on a podcast, he made some amazing statements about life in general and what really matters. Now, consider the fact that this is a guy who's been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt, and in his case, been the T-shirt.

Let's hear his observations about what really matters in life. Rich isn't what you think it is, kid. That word rich that your friends use. Rich, it sounds like money and stuff and things and Lamborghinis and tickets to go see Massey. That's not rich. Rich is having a strong faith. Rich is having great family and loving your family. Rich is having great friendships because those rich things are talking about the money.

The people that I know that have the most stuff are the most miserable people. And I don't know how else to explain it. You know, it's lovely. Listen, it's easy to say, right?

It's easy for somebody watching this podcast to go, well, that's easy for you to say, Buble. You know, you got a bunch of stuff, but it doesn't take long to realize that life is nothing new stuff. We're all sitting on that deathbed.

We're all going to die, every single one of us. And nobody looks back and says, I wish I collected more stuff. Wow. Great insights from Michael Buble, a guy who has had global fame, a guy who knows what he's talking about. As he said, the people I know who have the most stuff are the most miserable. And when you're on your deathbed, you're not going to be saying, I wish I had more stuff. Jesus said, what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Solomon in his day was the most famous and the most wealthy man alive. He had everything a person could want. And one day Solomon wrote in the book of Ecclesiastes, I looked at everything that I had and it was all emptiness.

It was like chasing the wind. That's life without God. What you're really looking for deep down inside is a relationship with the Lord, the God of heaven who created you. There's a hole in your heart that you're born with, so to speak, a hole that cannot be filled with possessions. It cannot be filled with fame.

It can't be filled with any thing. It's all about a relationship with the Lord because just one day we will all go to that deathbed. So some good advice there from singer Michael Buble and we need to look to the word of God and look to Jesus Christ and put him first in our life and everything else will find its proper place. Jesus said it this way, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Hey everybody, thanks for listening to this podcast.
