Evangelistic Christians find happiness in sharing their faith, while nitpicky ones often argue and debate. A pastor's example of sharing the gospel with a server in a Mexican restaurant illustrates the importance of preaching the gospel over theological debates.

Greg Laurie and Harvest Ministries present the book that kicked off the hip movie, Jesus Revolution. The author of the book is Ellen Vaughan, but it was written with me because I told her the stories. She does a deep dive into the history of the time. She tells the story of Chuck Smith, Lonnie Frisbee, and so much more that you will want to know. And we want to send you this book, Jesus Revolution, for your gift of any size.

Get your copy at harvest.org. I have found the happiest Christians. are the evangelistic ones. The ones that are constantly telling others about Jesus because there's a happiness and there's a joy in sharing your faith. And I have found that the unhappiest Christians are the nitpicky kind.

The ones that are always arguing, always debating, always upset about something. You find a lot of them on X, formerly known as Twitter. tearing each other down. As the Bible says, biting and devouring one another. They think their cause in life is to correct this person and come down on this other person, and they miss the memo about preaching the gospel.

So we're in a Mexican restaurant. And there were three other guys, all pastors.

So, two of the pastors are having this little animated discussion about some theological point.

So I'm kind of listening to them. And then the other pastor, his name is Steve Wolburn. He used to be on staff with us as our youth pastor. And he went up to Los Angeles and started a church called Core Church. And so while the two pastors are having their mini-theological debate, Steve looks over to the server and says, Has anyone ever told you there's a God in heaven who loves you?

So I thought, here we go. And I'm watching Steve now talk to this guy, and the guy said, Actually, I've never heard that before. Really? And Steve just starts sharing the gospel with this guy. And I look over at the pastors, they're unaware of what Steve is doing.

They're still having their mini debate. And the next thing I know, Steve is leading this guy in prayer. He's leading the server to Christ right there. It's amazing. Still, the pastors weren't aware of it.

I said, Do you know what just happened there? Steve just led that guy to the Lord. Oh, really? Then he went back to their debate.

So here's the thing. This to me is a picture of the church today. We're having our many debates while the world is waiting for someone to share the gospel with them. That's what we need to be concentrating our energies on. You can applaud now.

Go ahead, applaud. You know, we've been doing these Harvest Crusades for over three decades, but I've never experienced anything quite like our recent crusade events.

Some of you might have seen that viral video from last year, only a few seconds long, and had 50,000 people singing that song by Carrie Job Carnes and Cody Carnes called The Blessing.

So here's the bottom line. We are currently sold out. The moment we went online and announced the tickets, they were sold in 24 hours.

Now, when I say sold, let me clarify. There's no charge for the tickets, but people said they wanted one.

So here's what I need to tell you guys. If you got a ticket, congratulations, make sure you use your ticket. And if for some reason you can't come, make sure you give that ticket to someone who can attend. Think of it this way. That ticket represents a person who could make a commitment to Jesus Christ.

These tickets are of the greatest value because souls are of the greatest value. But if you can't find someone to give it to, you can give the ticket back to us because we have a wait list of people that want to come. If you have any questions or want to know more about returning your tickets, just reach out to info1 at harvest.org.

So here's my challenge to you. Seating is limited. Mm-hmm. I hope you have a ticket. You got to use it and bring someone who does not yet know Jesus Christ to this year's Harvest Crusade.

Also, don't forget it's online live at harvest.org if you're unable to make it to the stadium.

So let's be praying that God does a mighty work and let's pray that thousands of people come into the kingdom of God. I'll see you there.
