The story of Daniel, a faithful servant of God, is told through the book of Daniel. Meanwhile, Belshazzar, the king of Babylon, is throwing a lavish banquet, but he is unaware that the Persian army is surrounding the city. A supernatural hand appears and writes a message on the wall, which Belshazzar cannot interpret, and he becomes terrified. The queen mother, who is likely a believer in God, introduces Daniel to the king and asks him to interpret the message, which he does, revealing the impending fall of Babylon.
