Jesus promised his disciples peace in the midst of a chaotic world, and this peace is still available to us today. It's a peace that's not like the world's peace, which is often insincere, powerless, and inadequate. Instead, the peace of Jesus Christ is pure, delivered, and always enough. To receive this peace, we must first understand its context, which is rooted in Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection. We must also recognize the contrast between Jesus' peace and the world's peace, and acknowledge the condition of Christ's peace, which requires us to let go of our worries and trust in God's sovereignty.
