From the principal Toyota studios, it's morning in Memphis with Todd Darns, and hello, everybody. I hope you're doing well wherever you might be this morning. Getting off to a very busy start, we have a lot of big news stories happening here in the mid South and really around the country. I want you to write down our telephone number. You're going to need this to call in nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

So yesterday, early voting, we should be getting in those official numbers. But from all accounts, look like a pretty strong turnout across the entire state, and right here in Shelby County, would certainly like to hear from you this morning. What was it like at the polling station you went to? I will tell you that I normally vote in Germantown, and it was. It was a very busy polling precinct.

As a matter of fact, took about I don't know twenty five thirty minutes to get in there to vote. Everybody in a good mood. There were a couple of first time voters, and they do they do something up really nice. You know, for the first time voters, they treat them really well. The rest of us, you know, we got a well.

No, they treat us well too. But it was it was in and out. I'm I'm the guy that always asks for the paper. Ballot, still like to. I'm old school.

I like to be able to fill in the the circles myself and cast my vote. And got the sticker. And I will say this: the the the crowds. There was there was. This was just an observation.

So as you walk up to to go vote, there are representatives from the various candidates there. And as a matter of fact, in some cases, there are actually candidates. Candidates there, and you say hello. Got to say hello to Mark White and his lovely bride. Of course, Mark running for re-election for the state house.

And so, anyway, there were a number of candidates or their, you know, or their representatives there, and they're trying to, you know, they're handing you all the information so you know you can maybe they can influence your vote, which is all perfectly normal. They they do that, you know, every election cycle. But there was just what. This was really funny. There was just one candidate, and it really wasn't the candidate at all.

It was the the representative of the the candidate, and they they said, "We want you to vote for this person." And I said, "Well, I only vote for Republicans, bona fide Republicans." And the person really got got upset with me, and and was you know, well, my candidate is a Republican. I'm Like whoa whoa whoa you know okay all right glad to hear that but it's not on my list of bona fide Republicans so I don't see the name here not a lot of joy in that camp so anyway I all that to say folks at the end of the day it's an election be nice be polite and you know don't get upset if somebody doesn't vote for your guy or your gal I mean that's the way it is so all right so anyway would love to hear from you today. How things went. I do want to share a couple of items, and there may be folks, and maybe you haven't voted before. This is t here is a lot of stuff on the ballot, so.

Be sure.

Someone sent me a note yesterday and said, "Todd, when I went to vote, there was only like the governor's race and the the ballot initiatives, and that was it." Was there more to the to the to the election? I said, "Yes," and I asked the person, "Did you flip over the ballot because there are two sides?" So just remember that two sides. Take your time, fill it out. Make sure you understand. You know what you're voting for.

And I really do appreciate the fact that the poll workers actually, actually sent. You know, as people were standing in line, they were handing them copies of the ballot initiative.

So people, if they didn't understand what they were voting for, they could read up on it and and understand. Also, I've got to read this. This is from a group.

So our good friends. The Real Housewives of Germantown sent this over. This is the a Facebook group, Memphis Raise Your Expectations, and a woman writing in says, "I voted early today. When I went to the table, I was not asked if I was wanted a Democrat or Republican ballot. When I entered the form into the machine, the ballot came up, and I was a little confused.

Marcia Blackburn's name was the first name listed on my ballot." So I stuck my head out and asked the poll worker if there was a Democrat or a Republican ballot. He said yes. That was incorrect. A female worker came over and said, "Why is she pointing out? Why does?

Why do we need to know if it was a female worker?" Anyway, so she goes on to say, "She she was incredibly confused. She's enraged that Marcia Blackburn was at the top of the ballot." She says, "I am a reasonably intelligent woman and good reader. The ballot threw me for a loop. It seems like all caps. It seems like just another way to confuse the voters.

Who thought that was a good idea?" Well, I don't want to question the reasonable intelligence of this dear lady here, but in the general election, everybody's on the same ballot, and they list the candidates alphabetically.

So Blackburn starts with the letter B, so therefore she is at the top of the ballot. If there had been, let's say, if Ed Apple had been running for governor, well, guess what? A would have been for Apple. Ed Apple would have been at the top of the list, so. There's no vast right wing conspiracy going on here, folks.

Just want to throw that out. All right.

So anyway, curious to hear how things went for you at your voting location. Our telephone number nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

Oh, have you seen the video? We have this over on the KWM Facebook page. Senator Marsha Blackburn sharing a video. That shows her dancing is an AI video, and man, did they put on some pounds for Brent Taylor? I it didn't do him any favors.

He was full figured in that video. It featured Blackburn. They were dancing, I think, to a Kendrick Lamar song, and you had Blackburn, Bill Haggerty, Tim Burchett, Glenn Jacobs, and then Senator Taylor. And so people are. Let's just say it's not going over as well as they thought it might, and I'm going to explain why in just a moment.

But anyway, Marsha Blackburn was asked about this out on the campaign trail yesterday. Take a listen. There is a county commissioner that made the video and put it up. I think Congressman Birchitt reposted it. We reposted it, and it's a it's a funsy.

Everybody got out and vote. No, Marcia, this is no for me. This is diabolical witchcraft. Diabolical witchcraft. I don't know.

Marcia's got some moves there. Even if it's AI, Marcia, she's got some. Look, it could have been worse. Could have been twerking. I'm going to leave it there.

But as Marcia said, it's just just a little funsy, just a little funsy.

So everybody is getting all been out of shape over this, and people. The guy thinks it's witchcraft.

So, anyway, your take on Marcia? Here is why I think it's going. It's not going over as well as maybe the the campaign thought it was. The campaign has not been known for funsy. I am just going to tell you, it is.

It is off brand. This campaign has been ugly. It has been in the trenches warfare, and there is really not been a lot of fun coming out of the Blackburn campaign. And I'm not saying that's good or bad. It's just the reality of it.

So when you post a video like that, just out of nowhere, it's off brand and it just throws people for a loop.

So, but anyway, it is what it is. I doubt this is. I don't know. Maybe it will impact people's votes. I sincerely doubt that.

I will say this: the Blackburn campaign throwing down another attack ad on David Hatley, and here's the reason why. Was interesting. This story came out yesterday afternoon, and then by the evening, in my inbox, I had another attack ad going after David Hatley, who clearly thirty plus years ago had big time had big time legal and criminal problems. No doubt about that. The question is, and and by the way, Jerry Green too.

When she was sitting down with the interview with us, she went after Hatley, and she said everything that Hatley. Did 30 plus years ago is fair game.

So the headline today is that David Hatley has given his own campaign another five million dollars. He is the best financed candidate in the statewide race. A five million dollars that was listed in his third quarter campaign finance report. The candidates had to file that this week.

So far.

So far, he's spent twelve million dollars in his bid to be the next governor of Tennessee, and right now his balance, as of well, as of yesterday, a six point eight million dollars. By comparison, Senator Marsha Blackburn only has three point one million dollars. Jerry Green has just under nine hundred and ninety-five thousand dollars. And those are really the three. Those are the three candidates you've got to you've got to consider.

Let me just say this also about Hatley. There are some reports internally, this guy's internal polling, that he's roughly getting around twenty percent of the vote.

Now, if that number holds, it's not enough for him to. Win the race, and it may not be enough for Senator Blackburn to win the race. That's because Hatley. By all indications, is pulling support away from Marsha Blackburn. Look, there were a lot of disenfranchised Republicans after that nasty primary fight, and John Rose.

You don't see John Rose out on the campaign trail stumping for Marsha Blackburn, do you? And you certainly don't see Monty Fritz. And so, the question is, where do those voters go? Are they going to? And I would say that out of the three, John Rose supporters more likely going to support Blackburn.

Bonnie Fritz supporters, I think go to Hatley.

So anyway, I'm just curious, who are you voting for, and who do you like? Our telephone number: nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

Coming up, we're going to be talking to one of the top pollsters in America, Matt. He's one of the guys that has gotten all of the races right, and we need to hear what he has to say about the midterms and all the polling data out there. Right now, though, we've got to listen to Commander Chuck. He's keeping track of your morning commute. Let's check in with him.

This is Troy Millins from Earn Your Leisure. On Earn Your Leisure, we're all about smart money moves, and here's one most people skip, and it starts with Insurify. Most of us never shop our car insurance. The policy renews every year. The rate creeps up a little at a time, and nobody calls you to tell you.

You stay with the same company because it's easy, and that convenience costs you real money. That's what Insurify fixes. Real quotes from more than 120 top insurance companies, side by side. About two minutes, free, no phone calls, no pressure. And if there's nothing better for you right now, Insurify keeps watching and tells you when that changes, so you're never stuck overpaying.

Millions of people have used Insurify to shop for their car insurance.

So insure with Insurify. Go to insurify dot com. That's i n s u r i f y dot com. Suretyfi.com. All right.

Well, if you were lucky enough to be at Ronnie Grisanti's the other day, you saw something that was, well, quite frankly, almost unbelievable—a huge birthday party for Martha McInnesby, who turned 110 years old, and it was quite—it was quite the celebration. She had the manicotti, by the way. But anyway, yesterday, big big birthday for Miss Martha, who is a a local celebrity. Really, this was it's a fascinating story. She still lives by herself at 110 years old.

Plays bridge every Monday, and she goes to regular lunches at Grissanti's. She says the manicotti is the best in the world, and that is that.

So what a wonderful story! And you can read all about it over at the Daily Memphian if you subscribe. But a large group of ladies, and all it turns out, all of their dads used to bowl together at Southern Bowling Lanes. Anybody remember Southern Bowling Lanes? I think that was over.

Yikes! Was that North Cleveland Street? And that's where her husband worked.

So anyway, she she had a Wonderful time, and again, she's looking forward to her birthday celebration next year. And you never know; I mean, it might be 115 years old.

So, anyway, I'm just curious: What about your family? Who is the who is the oldest person in your family? And what's the secret to long life, a long and happy life? You know, I was reading the. I read the interview with the lady many years ago, who said she believed.

I think she was over a hundred, and she believed the secret to longevity: drinking three Dr. Peppers a day. And the reporter said, "But are you sure? Three Dr. Peppers a day?" And the lady said, "Absolutely." The the reporter said, "Well, didn't your doctors tell you that's not good for you?" She said, "Absolutely, but they're all dead, and I'm still alive." So, ladies and gentlemen, that's why, yours truly, I am fueled by three Dr.

Peppers a day. Not the not the huge ones, you know, the two liters, but like the little cans. We have we have a full the the fridge here at the Mighty Ninety stocked with those things. All right, nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. If you want to wish wish Miss Martha a happy one hundred and tenth birthday, or if you want to share maybe the secret to a long life with your family, give us a holler this morning and let us know.

Coming up, by the way, we're Are going to be speaking to Matt Towery. You see him all the time with Sean Hannity. Matt spending a few moments with us here on here on the program coming up, talking about the midterm election. How are you guys feeling about the midterms? I know Fox News.

If you watched Fox last night, you're like running towards the cliff right now, and I don't think you need to be doing that. Because I'm still feeling pretty darn bullish about the Republicans' chances, but everybody's got to work together. Unfortunately, there is a lot of infighting, and it's not just locally. And all that stuff is a great big mess. It's also a great big distraction because we need people.

That are willing to set aside their personal grievances and focus on the big picture here. And the big picture is stopping the rise of Islam. The big picture is stopping the rise of the communist. That's ultimately what this midterm election is is all about here. And if we lose sight of that.

Then we're going to have, well, we're just going to have big problems in this country, and I don't think, I don't think the country wants that. Certainly, the country does not need that. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Want to play some audio here? This is from a fired up Trump supporter last night in Montana, cut forty nine.

So when people say that people aren't going to be motivated to vote, what do you say about that? Oh no, no, we're all motivated. It's righteousness versus demonic. That's how I look at it.

So Republican versus Democrat. You're righteous and you believe in God and you believe in our country, or you believe in girls in our men and women sports and mutilation of our children. It's amazing the difference. Start night and day, and you. Tell I mean the line is all the way just yeah all the way down the interstate it's huge and so you're gonna you think people are gonna turn out this midterm?

My bad question. Absolutely, we are. Yeah, I do too, and I I saw that. I know I was getting reports from I think Collierville where there are a lot of people wearing face diapers that were showing up to vote. Not in my neighborhood, there were so everybody looked like they were Republican.

So I, well, I'm not going to say what what look, but if you're if you're wearing a face diaper, chances are you're probably not a Republican. That that's all I'm saying here.

So anyway, Stephen Miller last night. Saying, "Hey, look! You've got to pay attention here. the The polls are getting it wrong, and we're going to play some of that coming up right after the the break here. But again, Stephen Miller says, if you want to keep the freaks out of office, these crazy communists, you got to show up and you got to vote.

You've got to fight for your children, and you've got to fight to save the country. I think that's a pretty good reason to get out and vote. Hey, by the way, don't forget tomorrow, ladies." And gentlemen, huge, huge day at Theater Memphis. The Million Dollar Quartet, that musical debuts. You heard a little bit of the music earlier this week, and we're going to have some tomorrow on the show.

It is a great program. You need to get tickets. The show opens up tomorrow at Theater Memphis. Go to their website, and you'll find all the information there. All right, coming up, your calls also Matt Talley.

Want to say good morning to Dean, who has now, I guess, given himself an on field battlefield promotion to official greeter at the body nine ninety. Dean, you're doing a great job of that. Kristen Hicks writing and imagine being born in 196. Talking about Miss Martha celebrating her one hundred tenth birthday, and she's getting around pretty good for one hundred and ten. She says, "My dad just had a hip replacement last month.

He's 89, super sharp, has lots of hobbies, using his hands, woodworking, gunsmithing, metalworking, model trains. His family lives into their mid 90s. They have super genes.

So maybe that's it. Is just staying active. You know, a lot of people say, 'Sturges, when are you going to retire?' And I'm like, what? What does that even mean?" What does that word mean? Retire.

I mean, come on.

So anyway, just wondering, what is the secret to a long life? As we celebrate, a lady who is believed to be the oldest person in Memphis, Miss Martha, celebrating her one hundred and tenth birthday this week. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six is our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

So I was out at Shelby Farms. Finally back out there, getting.

Some exercise, doing the loop around the Baptist Promenade, and I think I was about midway through when I'm like, "Sweet mercy, it's ninety something degrees out here." But anyway, I'm listening to some podcast, and I heard Sean Hannity interviewing our good friend Matt Towery. And the more I listened, the more fired up I got. I knew we had to have Matt on the show. Here's a little bit of that conversation. Matt, you were get every every second.

My, I was getting just more and more pumped up listening to you and and Hannity and and the conversation you guys were having. It's good to have you on the show today.

Well, you know, I have to tell Sean that that we're a new exercise routine. No idea that would work. That's it. You guys burn more calories than Pilates.

So glad to hear it, Matt. You've got a great new book out called "The Honoring of Ignorance: The Seven Mirages Destroying America," and we're going to talk about that in just a second. But one of the things I've been so upset about this election cycle are these these poll Polls that have been coming out, and I'm—it's just I'm just not buying what the pollsters are trying to sell us. I mean, you've been doing this a long, long time. What say you?

Well, you know, fortunately, we've had a record of being one of the most accurate pollsters in 2016, 20, and 24, and in the 22 midterms. We were accurate, but we weren't at the top, and there was a reason why. Because we listened to the national pollsters who polled the generic ballot, and even the New York Times and the others were saying, "Oh, the Republicans are going to sweep." And so we adjusted our models based on that. And of course, the Republicans didn't sweep some critical races; we lost some Republicans. It wasn't a bad year for Republicans, but it wasn't the banner year people thought.

Now I'm not listening to these national pollsters this time. I do my own weighting, and by the way, this is my last year polling. Todd, you're you're you're getting me in the last year before I retire and just write books and continue to give punditry. But I'm not going to miss this race. Let me tell you what they're doing.

They're doing what they do every single year. They underweight Republicans. They under-sample Republicans. They make assumptions in their weighting that is incorrect. They thought this was going to be a year where young people were upset and they were going to turn out, start a revolution, moving towards socialism.

Well, what we're seeing, and it's just not me, but Robert Haley at Trafalgar, you know Robert, the folks at Resnixon, they've all polled, and we've been sharing our polling. And every single poll shows that senior voters, 65 and older, are the ones who are turning out, who are most excited about turning out. And by the way, we now have evidence to back that up. We've seen early voting in Ohio, Michigan, and now in Georgia. Seniors are voting off the chain, and believe it or not, they have now moved much more to the Republican Party than they had after the pandemic.

You and I think discussed this before that after the pandemic.

Some seniors got a little upset. They felt like Trump didn't handle it right. They felt like they were very vulnerable during that time period.

Well, guess what? They are back with the GOP big time because they don't want socialism and they don't like what they're seeing.

So these pollsters are off. Races are going to get very, very tight, and we're going to be there to tell everybody what the truth is, whether Democrat or Republican. I don't know, but I know they're tightening. Yeah, I I don't know either, Matt. And and again, my my encouragement to people is to get out and and vote.

I mean, you ultimately control that. You know, you get to decide whether you are going to engage in the political process or not. You know, my frustration has been it just seems like the media and the the polling agencies have been somewhat I don't know if they're colluding, complicit in really misleading the American people. And and it seems to me there. There, there seems to be some election interference going on.

Well, you know the funny thing about in the book, "The Honoring of Ignorance," and people, you want to, you have a member of your family, or someone who just will not listen to you and thinks that you're crazy for being a Republican or liking Donald Trump, buy it and shove it in their face and tell them to read it and then debate them afterwards. I went through every part of this tie. I documented it by numbers. I gave the details. All apart in the policies of Trump and the like, the way they're mis and what some of his statements, the way they're misconstrued or omitted by the media, and put it all together and wrapped up in a bow.

And I'm telling you, if you get this book, you will be anybody in your family on any debate. I'm not sure that we could be able to come back. And part of the reason is this.

So you get the best pollsters in the country based on basic just error rate, and those have been Insider Advantage, Resnaisen, Trafalgar, let's see, Qantas, Atlas, Intel, which really is a Brazilian company. They don't do as much as people think. Emerson College, there are McLaughlin, handful of others. He's right every time. What happens is they set up these groups like used to be Five Thirty Eight, which was on by Disney and ABC, and now it's Nate Silver and the Silver Bulletin and some of his other friends.

And they rate pollsters. What they do is they go through and find excuses to take the people who are the most accurate and give them bad grades and make it look like can't run an insider advantage poll on a network. Or on any decent newspaper. In fact, we've been the most accurate every single time. You sure have.

That's a game they play, Todd. It's designed to do that. Let me give an example.

So, when Nate Silver, I don't have his—he that changed his ratings. He changes them all the time. But he ranked the top pollsters in the country. Most of the polls he ranked. Most of the races they were polling in the 2024 election.

He takes little bitty place. Bowling Green in Pennsylvania, I'm sure a very fine school, but they don't poll that much. They just poll Pennsylvania. He way up there, and they missed the one piece that they polled in their own state. They had Harris winning, so he takes a little truths you've never heard of and ranks them ahead of Trevaughn and Insider Advantage and McLaughlin and Rasnus, and so we look like the un.

So we can't run their ads; they're not transparent enough.

Well, that's nonsense. We put all our stuff up, or we're not a member of some division of a pollster. We don't do that because the people who run those things are ultra liberal and they tear polls apart. Why would we part of that?

So they use excuses, and then they try to peddle it to the news organizations.

So what's seen right now is them pushing polls from the usual suspects who have. Traditionally, basically, in the last ten or fifteen years, particularly in the Trump era, has gone.

So that's why you have the recent question of Diesel's.

Now, I'm not telling you the Republicans are winning every state. Our polls right now still the Democrats winning a lot of states, but by one or two points. But with this new wave which is occurring, which I'll talk about the the silver wave, we're going to have to reweight our polls, and things are going to change big time. Matt Towry is joining us on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Has a new book out called the the Honoring of Ignorance.

Matt, one of the things you you address in in the book, and and this concerns me because I've I've long suspected this might be the case. I I think we are the country is heading towards. Really, a very difficult moment, and you write about this, and you say that this this liberal ideology could eventually lead to some sort of a separation. Tell us about that. What's so interesting is, of course, we all know the the Civil War was bloody, and something no one likes to think about—not a proud moment in history.

Was probably led by the South, and I think in the future you're going to see the North wanting to break away. Because think about this, Todd: as we as we get further down the road, and more people move to states like Florida and Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, you're going to see the map move to that direction. You're going to congressional districts more those to that direction, and as a result. You're going to that's maybe you know ten years imbalance in this in this country, and as a result, the the state will lose New York, California. Let me jump in here, guys.

We have got a very bad phone connection that is getting worse. With Matt, we're going to try to reconnect with him.

So let's put Matt on hold. But again, Matt in the book is is positing the theory. That we could we could see a division of of the country along along state lines and where we might work together for the common defense, but the politics is becoming is so so isolated. That you could have red states and blue states partner together.

So we're going to take we're going to take we got Matt back. All right, Matt, I think we've got you back. Let's circle back and and share what you were saying about the divisions of the states here.

Well, to be concise, it was the you know the South that really led towards the Civil War back in in the eighteen sixties. We understand that sad period of time. And I'm from the South, and I regret that, but it is what it is.

Now it's the Northern states that have the incentive to try to pull away because they are losing their population; they're going to lose their electoral votes, they're going to lose their congressional districts, and ultimately they're going to see the Supreme Court continue to move towards conservative appointees. And they they don't like the way things are running, so they're going to want to end the filibuster. They're going to want to stack the court. If they can't do that, they're going to want to pull away from the country. And we polled New York, for example, majority there want to be no part of the United States.

They just want to be a part of the blue states.

So, what I think is going to happen if we don't get control of this country is that you're going to see blue states form compacts, as we call them, or contracts in which they honor one another's laws. And then that would lead to the red states having to do the same thing, and the country would be ironically go back to being what it was supposed to be originally, which is a smaller federal government designed for our defense, for our protection, for interstate commerce, and for a common currency. And there are probably a lot of people who would like that. I'm not trying to be anti-American, but I predicted a lot of things over the years, as you know, Todd. I predicted that financial crisis.

I predicted Donald Trump would win. In 2016, I see this as a long-term trend, not right now. But something in the future that we may have to deal with. Do you see the blue states continuing the slide towards socialism? Oh, absolutely.

They have no reason not to. They are controlled by groups that have tremendous influence, and they also have allowed non-Americans, immigrants. To basically participate in their electoral process, and they they claim they don't, but in reality, what happens is they become they become residents, they become citizens, they give them driver's licenses. You can't ferret through who can vote and who can't. And so sooner or later, these these blue states are going to go.

They're not going to reverse. But we're also seeing Florida, for example, great example of this. If the Constitution had not been, it wasn't. It was amended, but then there was a federal law that actually limited the number of the members of Congress we can have. You realize that under the original Congress, right now, we would have ten thousands of members of the House of Representatives, and a state like Florida would have upwards to seven thousand representatives in the House of Representatives because it's grown so much.

Well, obviously, that's not where we are right now. But in the end, states like Florida, South Carolina, Texas, and others are going to have a tremendous influence over this country that they've never had before, and that's going to sit well with these blue states because they're not going to change their ways. I'm wondering, and I know you wrote about this. I'm wondering how the founding fathers, if they could see what the country has become today, how do you think they they would look at at where we are?

Well, let me tell you.

So, I wrote the Honoring of Ignorance. Ironically, forty years ago, I started on it when I was a student at Cambridge University, and I got a literary agent. And the agent was a well-known one in New York. And they pitched it everywhere. And publishers said, "We love it, but he's too young to say these things." Now, forty years later, I may be too old to say these things.

But that said. The founders would be shocked because, as you know, originally we weren't supposed to vote for president. Our legislatures were choosing the electors. The electors then would choose a president, and the runner-up would be the vice president. There were no tickets.

There were no parties. There was no filibuster. There was no taxation system whatsoever. We had no federal tax.

So much of what we have right now in the federal government did not exist and was not envisioned by the founders. I think they would be shocked and they would be appalled, to be honest with you, because we've allowed the media to influence the mob and the mob to rule, and that's a big issue right now. As we see a media that that's planted in one direction, they use omission and they use misinterpretation and selective reporting. To influence the public, that then they get pollsters to validate, and then they use these fact checkers to say their facts are correct, and anyone who is a conservative or has another view is incorrect. And that is what I call the mirage machine.

I talk about it in the book. I show how it works, and that's what's influencing politics in America right now. It's a fascinating book, folks. You've got to get a copy of "The Honoring of Ignorance" by by Matt Towery, and I think it's also a sobering look at what's been happening in America and where all of this is is going. Matt, congratulations!

Are you looking forward to getting out of the polling business? I mean, retire? I can't wait.

Well, you know, I blame all this on one person, Sean Hannity, because every time I try to retire. Sean and we and you know Todd, we've known each other for forty years, and we talk a lot on the phone. Tell you're not retired. You're not retiring.

Well, I said, well, Hannity, you don't run my life.

Well, sure as heck, it gets me to do it again.

So, no, I told Sean, this is it. It's over. Forget it. He could send me a Ferrari and buy me a new house, and I wouldn't do it.

So, I'm through pulling. But I'll still be there to interpret and and give people my opinions and to talk to great people like you. And tell your folks to go to Amazon.com. It's the honoring of ignorance. Get it, folks!
