Drinking Pres. Biden considered using Russian military bases for counterterrorism acts in Afghanistan. Impeachable offense keeping you informed and now it's been reported.
Right now my ministration.
Russia about using Russian basis in the central Asian nation in Afghanistan to the north are striking access by, out of, over the horizon.
Counterterrorism missions is that true conversation with systems, call one 861 you reached out to the Russians asking spaces.
As result, we have a conversation with coming out today. We are not getting permission to do anything we believe in the let's put this in perspective about the presence of having conversations with present the Russian okay that in the course of this conversation. Somehow it comes up that Russia might be willing to allow the United States to utilize military bases in Russia for the US to conducted counterterrorism actions inside of Afghanistan. Let me repeat that for you during conversations that the President of the United States had with the President of the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Putin a discussion took place as to the feasibility or viability of Russia allowing US military troops and aircraft and communications issues to work out of Russian military bases for counterterrorism in Afghanistan because we gave up Bagram now.
Could you imagine for a moment if this was President from having a conversation with Vladimir Putin about military bases being utilized by Americans for counterterrorism activities inside another country. Could you imagine the reaction I can imagine the reaction Logan on Capitol Hill was up that reaction would be impeachment. That's what would be it would say he's in cohorts with Vladimir put just like we thought so.
The President would've done this present trumpeted on this.
This would be. I promise you I but I been there. I could say it. This would be another one there impeachment moves.
So where you stand on it though because I know that I will bid another discussion because clearly they would think so.
On the flipside that well.
I don't play their game, so I don't think you make impeachment out of anything. In other words, I don't think you missed the policy decision.
I think it's the wrong policy decision. I don't know why they were having humbling or whatever conversations are estranged, they change the standard especially in the second impeachment where impeaching a former President but I still think I'm loyal to the Constitution of the United States, but if this were the shoe was on the other foot here.
Does anybody this listening is broadcasting from moment Van Bennett that impeachment articles would be drafted clearly the standard is changed. They be drafted already data heading than for the house with you. I don't think it's an impeachable offense, but you do have to point out the political reality that the standard has to be the same from one presence of the other, and one other thing I would tell you Jake is another very firm tally on the side of abandoning background, being a catastrophic mistake because these are the conversations that took place in the wake of that, of course, of in the whole thing you think about this problem get into this whole conversation and then our military, senior military officials are talking to their Russian counterparts. Folks who want to share the speed with your friends or listening on radio.
Tell your friends to listen, working to be some analysis not get anywhere else was in the third segment without a lot of watching this on social media sharing.

Well, this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ God where you can learn more about her life changing, member today ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called life will show you how you are personally publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the Obama care means many ways your membership is powering the right question for mission life today online/also, if you want to get on the year 100-684-3110 a few lines open as you go ahead and start with a clip from today's hearing you think we are likely.
When you set up just a little bit of this is this is following up on what we just talk about, which was this idea of this concept became evidently a reality where the Pentagon's top military officer after Pres. Biden had conversations with Vladimir had a follow-up with his Russian counterpart to see what the viability was abusing military bases in Russia to respond to this deteriorating situation in Afghanistan. Let me repeat that the US top military brass after a conversation with resident Goodman Pres. Biden where it was obviously in evidently discussions about utilizing Russian military bases to house American military equipment troops to conduct counterterrorism activities inside of Afghanistan. As Afghanistan fell apart were real discussions that went to our military leadership to have those conversations now.
What makes this so unique is also the very same time we find out that Jerome really is not really consulted until after the fall of Kabul in Afghanistan. We were considering using Russian bases take a listen to this exchange said that it was the unanimous unanimous recommendation of the joint Chiefs that we not maintain a military presence beyond August 31 with her testimony that effect today as well. When was that unanimous recommendation sought and presented to the President's term of the 31 August 31, August 25 August I was asked to make an assessment and provide best military advice on sorry my time is limited here and answered I need to hear.
August 25 correct spelling August 15 is correct, you are not asked for August 20. On August 25 I was asked to write business or assessment is whether we should keep multi-forces past the 31st. This to me is is incredible.
So Wes, what in the world were they thinking well what they were thinking was Joe Biden was not interested in the advice of his military commanders.
He is continually no marching to his own order.
She's been as is. We've talked about on the show before wrong on so many issues down to his 40 years in DC, but couple falls on 15 August and then on the 25th, Biden and Hess were his generals best military advice on keeping troops there which what that means. Jay is his cobble Hill hit his seeking military advice was purely perfunctory. He was not interested in the military advice he'd already made a decision that train had left the station. This this absolutely was meaningless at that point I'm thinking about this whole discussion actually been put myself in that room I'm in a conversation with Putin and Biden make sensible presence, heads of state, but the conversation that they're having is the utilization of Russian military bases for US troops so we could conduct counterintelligence counterinsurgency and counterterrorism activities inside Afghanistan that we let fall apart.
I can't it's hard even put yourself in that situation you're precisely correct. We are in in a country in crisis and we are in a crisis. Why because the Biden administration and the bureaucratic elites with in the Biden administration continue to live in the land of make-believe. So they want to fabricate a reality which is contradicted by the facts on the ground so Joe Biden has consistently claimed that the US military unanimously recommended full withdrawal of American troops.
What we now know today that was simply untrue. Right.
So instead, what we have is a full blooded surrender by US bureaucrats and then the Biden administration is prepared to enter into negotiations with in order to protect the US security interest is this is a catastrophic blunder and so we have to go after debacle chaos after chaos, and it represents. I think the IP I'm sorry the apex of the Biden administration's inability to face reality.
The reality is that the Taliban and was and is a terrorist group right and we should have known that we should not have relied upon their good grace and so now we have up to 4000 Americans left behind in Afghanistan. Those reports were the answer that but there are reported to work out something about Harry Austin can neither confirm nor deny those reports so I think it's very imperative for the American people to rise up and ask their representatives to take action think there is only partially this whole Russia cooperation. Thank keep in mind this meeting between Biden Putin came came about in June and at that meeting is when reports are that Pres. Putin told Biden he would not allow us to use any of the stands around there which we've given billions of dollars of data still cooperate with them that we could not put her bases there, but oh, by the way, Joe, I'll allow you to put bases in Russia and Indian and Russian bases around this counterterrorism mission.
Keep in mind several years ago, Congress passed a law that forbids direct cooperation between the Russian military and the US military unless the Secretary of Defense gives a waiver because there are risk involved in that, including as you alluded to J when we put US technology and weapons that are sensitive are most sensitive communications equipment on a Russian base. We put ourselves at risk. This is absolutely crazy. I can't even believe they're entertaining this I can't believe you have the conversation frankly and family. I follow-up with you on this.
It looks like the Democrats and L can't believe it either. Actually, yet were seen a rarity today jamming typically the questioning from these kind of panels is not very effective.
We've seen multiple instances from both Republicans and Democrats of of pushing these generals to get real information. By the way J this is exactly why we have a FOIA on this. We want to work with Congress and outside Congress to just to figure out exactly why these decisions were made in just a short list of what we've learned today Jake, I mean we know now that the military knew that the Taliban was this big of a threat and that they might take over this quickly and that they told the President of the United States this and he made that decision. Anyway, we know that the generals thought that the drawdown this quickly was a mistake that they told the President that NJ did the point that you're alluding to Sen. Kane is insisting that he get a direct answer this afternoon from the generals of their best assessment of how many Americans are left in Afghanistan. I remember a couple of weeks ago J you and I had a conversation I said there's a staff member in the room that has that number. They just don't want to give to Congress is an exchange today were Sen. Kane said essentially that needs it up if if you don't tell me this afternoon. There can be a price to pay, and play that right now on that asked the question during my second round of questions after luncheon with the number of staff were here in this room and in the anteroom we got a bit would get an answer and if and if we can't, it will suggest to the committee.
I don't think you want to suggest this to the committee that you don't want to be responsive to that question or that you don't talk to the State Department or that the number of Americans in Afghanistan is something that you're indifferent to. I don't think any of those are true.
Saul asked the question again after luncheon.
I hope we can get an answer listener. Tim came Democrat from Virginia former VP candidate with Ritalin absolutely so your populace.
At this of the few bipartisan times were good. A lot of people are speaking out lucidly certain people.
I think you are shocked, actually.
Yeah let's get a phone call Scott Roberta in Colorado like to view them daily or give me a call 1-800-684-3110 Roberta you're on the air. I remember comp point when we talk anymore.
Talk to me and I don't like and I'm in right now I don't like that feeling that nothing can shock me anymore. The horrible loss when I saw this this morning you first you say okay can we verify this for real because the first reaction.
Logan was this can't possibly be just sounds like what a click made headlines like something that you really get this right headlight is something that's that's CL partially true. True enough to get you to click and read a paragraph and like others, I was looking for and it's not really there is a well, maybe this this one is pretty much verifiable that this is happening. They may print confirm that this government that Lisa conversations up will not just the conversation was, but the conversation then went from the present heads of state to the heads military. They are serious about this think they're a little embarrassed and probably some of these generals do not want to do this either the Biden is the commander-in-chief that they control the military and in the mistakes the missteps by this Biden administration, both on foreign policy and domestic issues. They keep mounting up.
It is misstep after misstep and you wonder how many I don't mean to be disrespectful but how many boneheaded decisions.
Can you make continue to operate everything I just I go back to it and William 58 seconds left assignment. Could you imagine if Pres. Trump would have these conversations with with Vladimir but what the reaction of the left with limited think about that promote Russian collusion collusion collusion Russian partnership and not just in economic matters, but on our military quickly the danger that could oppose to our equipment and work assets at which we would be compromised by the simple act took place and we put our equipment and troops sensitive material in the Russian base I were to be joined by Rick when we come back. This is unbelievable in Russia US military to be stationed in Russian military bases for countering intelligent counterterrorism moves in Afghanistan because bogglingly surrendered and then we had the country collapsed around us and this is likely you know can you imagine I guess that Donald Trump would've done this they be calling for a I can't. I can't even imagine what they would be calling for. I want to play for you some sound. This is from the secretary of defense Austin as well as Sen. Deb Fisher from Nebraska, take a listen to this. It's being reported right now that the Biden administration reached out to Russia about using Russian basis in the central Asian nations bordering Afghanistan to the north for our strike assets to fly out of for the over the horizon.
Counterterrorism missions is that true Sen. this is an issue that I believe came up during a conversation that the President had with Pres. Putin will Pres. Bloom offered to offer to provide assistance that have you reached out to the Russians asking specifically to use basis. Joe Millie just recently had a conversation with his construction, so the reports are true, that have been coming out today. I can assure you that we are not seeking Russia's permission to do anything but I believe him. Joe Millie can speak for himself. I believe that the asked for clarification on what… What that offer which, with no disrespect, secretary, defense Austin that did not. In the last thing he said did not answer the question had nothing to do with what we were asking permission. The question was regarding whether we were in dialogue with the Russian government and military to see if we could establish US presence on Russian military bases conduct counterterrorism inside of Afghanistan because the binding Thracian administration completely bungled the job to me. Rick Mrs. Muir, the director of national intelligence.
This is insanity absurd yellow. I don't care what the details would have been about joining forces with the Russians. It doesn't matter what we asked in what they agreed to witness with this would never have been an option in the Trump administration.
I would've never approved this Pres. Trump would've never approved this Robert O'Brien, the national security of advisor would've never approved this and let me be clear, J we would Navy and try, we wouldn't have even tried to have a conversation with the Russians about joining them on their base with US military to do something in Afghanistan anything that it's absurd. It's also an admission, let's be very clear. It's an admission that we didn't know that it would be so bad. The US military leadership. The political leadership did not know that it would be so chaotic closing Bob Graham that they were scrambling to figure out okay who's still there and who can we join and it's just a signal that the political leadership at the Pentagon and at the White House had really messed this in their scrambling to cover their tracks military. Rick is defending themselves and you know Joe Millie said he was not consulted until August 25 after Kabul had already fallen but listen to this. Also, this is general Millie. I mean he's been there covering there they got to cover themselves here. This is by 20 we must remember that the Taliban laws, and remains a terrorist organization and they still have not broken ties with Al Qaeda. I have no illusions who we are dealing with. So you know he's saying this because as as was reported that we know we were in cooperation with the telegram are many calm colleagues, but it was something was the yet very businesslike that it very businesslike terrorist organization.
So put that on top of what were talking but now that we were utilizing Russian military pieces, possibly as a counterintelligence counter terrorism move inside of Afghanistan and it tells me that this was a complete Nunnally blunder put put American military assets and our technology at tremendous risk of heart for sure. I mean, I don't think a single person in the intelligence community career career officials or political people would have approved this during the Trump administration. I highly doubt any career people are saying that this is a good idea.
You know we we have intelligence officials who constantly leak on the Russia team. Every little detail, and I'd like to send to know from the political leadership what they were briefed on by the career officials for this idea because I can guarantee you they were briefed that it wasn't a good idea.
Let let me also, just that one thing here J the Millie admission that the Taliban is still a terrorist organization really is a troubling point when you see that this is the group of people that handed over to the Taliban a list of American names to help that that should be illegal. If there admitting that there still a terrorist organization and then handing them over a list of Americans list of Americans in a list of Afghanistan workers that we are aiding the United States every brick I'm trying to get my head around this. What were they think because we gave up control of the airport in in Kabul that was a big mistake. We gave a bottom that was a huge mistake. We drew down without having the necessary checkup that was a big mistake but then as you just said the idea that we would give a list of Americans and an Afghan knees that were helping the United States to the Taliban so they could get the checkpoint. What in the world were these are leaders thinking, including a listen. I don't want to attack the military but weight raises a lot of questions. Rick went one thing that's clear is that the military leaders.
The political appointees that were watching today are scrambling to cover their tracks. They are not going to be forced to resign by Joe Biden. There needs to be pressure from the Senate to say we do not have faith in these individuals. And certainly we know the American people have already voiced that they do not have faith in these military leaders. The crisis of credibility is a very serious issue right now.
I'm wondering also less question for you in and that is you know there are reports and I hope these are not true, but the center cane, Democrat from Virginia is asking this question that there may be upwards of 4000 Americans the left and Afghanistan and he said I demand an answer after long after the lunch recess the throne right now that would be yeah go ahead, I saw that and the fact that were already here in late September and were still asking that question. We still don't have an answer is outrageous. Joe Biden obviously doesn't know what going on doesn't realize the details. Otherwise, he would be apoplectic. There's no other explanation for ignoring the fact that Americans are still there. Jake Sullivan again. We talked about this before as the national security advisor is the person who is in charge of diplomacy, intelligence, and the military, coordinating all of those with the President of the United States clearly should resign. He's in over his head. He's an academic who doesn't have real world experience that some other issues may be to will talk about them later programs looks like some misstatements to Congress and test talk about that later. Rick, thanks as always coursing advisor to the ACLJ national security and just like the spirit we appreciate Rick thank you I would take a break will be back in a moment share with your friends the pizza forgetting also support work the ACLJ we a lot more coming up. If you're just joining us is you read this you think this is fiction we read it we said are you sure this is correct and here's the report report is that Pres. Biden had a conversation with Pres. with the idea only thing Ellen Afghanistan with the idea that the United States might utilize Russian military bases to conduct counterintelligence and counterterrorism moves inside of Afghanistan that we would deploy our troops or equipment to Russian military bases because Afghanistan fell in such a way that the United States lost total control. We gave a bottom. We lost Kabul airport control we give it over to the Taliban, but that we were exploring this idea of the Russians utilizing Russian military bases with Russian military troops on their with Americans being put on their in those bases to conduct these counterterrorism moves now. It didn't just stop at the level of the President and the vice President some general discussions. It ends up that general Millie is evidently instructed to talk to his Russian counterpart about the feasibility of this actually happening is another example of Pres. Biden acquiescing to our adversaries because this conversation about putting our troops on the Russian military base came after Pres. Putin told Biden that he would not allow us to put it on bases in the Central Asian country see what what was going on. Russia has bases in this country right and then we have some assets. We've given this country billions of dollars so we talk about over the horizon capabilities no no no you can't go in and put a new base for the CIA or the military in the stands and we call them but I will allow you to put them on our bases in the stands to which the presence is not a bad idea.
Make it easy really being pressured and acquiescent acquiescing to one of our adversaries will not a bad idea.
He has his military chief start communications Harriet with this counterpart. I think Wesley is a nicer human being than I and he continues to go he continues to use the word acquiescing.
I think a better word might be surrender. So we continue to surrender to our adversaries where there it's the Taliban whether it's perhaps Isis K.
Whether it's illegal immigrants were coming across the border. The Biden administration is filled with bureaucrats who, at the end of the day despise the United States and they are prepared to surrender United States sovereignty to our out to our adversary was so interesting below them. When this first broke and we first thought.
We didn't even we question the veracity of the report because it seems so improbable. It seems like I said since her mother's reports that you see on on not to legitimate websites promoting news that is just to stoke the fire that is in the say real in years and read the details and I will is as accurate but nowhere nearly as hard as he sees conversations I was replying out with the people in charge say yes until this happened, and is one of those troubling moments where they loved it, was educated shocked by much. Look, it's not the number one story right now know it. So it was only out of this. So it does feel like one of those issues that you hear from us and I wanted to fact check this will fact jacket. This is happening every conversation happened. There's just so much other chaos. It's coming out of this. It's easy to get lost in the weeds like they noted that the Taliban course was our enemy, but they gave list of Americans and Afghan nannies that work with us to the Taliban for the checkpoints up and we got something coming up tomorrow to which you mentioned to how that will prevent the ACLJ is participating in like let's go ahead and talk about that yet. JW for time testify before Congress about the IRS targeting and we were involved in for so many years, the House Ways and Means Committee, the Republicans are taking another look at it. Our listeners are to know about this day the IRS is back at it again I targeting conservatives targeting Christians. I do a kick off this with the conversation.
Talk about how many citizens American citizens are left in Afghanistan. This is been the conversation that happened just a minute ago or if you just a few minutes ago. In this meeting in the series Juergen here for right now let's kick off by 46 do all of you agree that Secretary of State Megan when he made his analysis as to how many people would be here would still be there. You talked about the 10 to 15,000 citizens left behind and the and then it evacuated some 6000 that would mean minimum of 4000 would be would still be there and I would anyone disagree with that. I know I don't. I personally don't believe that there are 4000 American citizens still left in Afghanistan, but I cannot confirm or organize very basic math. They talked about. They said they believe that there is 10,000 citizens are so 6000 were evacuated when that leave 4000 left.
I have no idea and I don't think there are 4000 left wordless math cover where these numbers coming from humbly get some answers west of the military with distinction for a long time so Carlson how did we not know this. We do know this. And what is happening what is happening to disco megabyte of nutrition look bad you think the Afghan withdrawal looks like a fiasco. Now when you found him.
The Americans are actually there look even worse. But what is happened to this point is that when you asked the Pentagon to this question they say well I have to defer to the State Department when you asked the State Department they say will have to defer to the Pentagon and thankfully the senator came the Democrat from Virginia has put them on notice that this afternoon he expects an answer. It is a matter of simple math and you know that the DoD the Pentagon and the state or would they know pretty close.
How many American citizens are there. They do not want to put that information out and you think this is a question by Democratic Sen. Tim came you working in an answer. I think Sen. Kane put them in a position J were there to have to come back with some kind of estimate. I imagine I'll probably hedge it though probably say we can't be surprised is imprecise in the give you a broad range of a look, I mean I agree with Wes on this or not a mathematician, but all of the numbers that were getting from the administration can't be true. Some of them have to be wrong and there's really only two options.
The first one. This is the one I don't think is accurate. The first one is that they have no idea. I actually think they do have a pretty good idea pretty good estimate.
The second thing is the thing that I think we been dealing with for the last few weeks. It's a number that they aren't willing to tell SJ I think this afternoon, you probably get something a little bit closer to the truth but my prediction to use, and there can be a pretty big hedge in their you know it to me. Harriet's I'm still dumbfounded by the idea that we even had serious conversations or a conversation with Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden about utilizing Russian military bases for our counterterrorism moves and that then buying took it seriously enough that he had his Millet senior military advisors make the call to win the sound where he acknowledges that he had that conversation where where Jim Daly says he had a conversation married what policy does that set in motion.
Well, I think it sets in motion a disaster, but it also suggests that the Biden administration has been lying all along because they knew that they could not defend American interest in Afghanistan as early as June, so there later claim that they could not have predicted the Afghan government collapsed so soon, I think, is simply falsifiable and totally untrue, but the general really said this today at the hearing of the play, this is Sen. Shaheen from New Hampshire to Jim Daly, take a listen. I'm just trying to figure out why we missed from the public perception, it appears that we didn't anticipate the rapid fall of Afghanistan and Kabul and the rise in the talent man in the way we stopped play out on television and what did we miss Sen. we absolutely missed the rapid 11 day collapse of the Afghan military and the collapse of the government. Every time you think look at the story, but Afghanistan is fade away. It comes out front and center in your work very, very significant. We are doing a deep analysis pokes for the be able to see what's going on in Afghanistan with the long-term consequences I interviewed some serious limbs and top names of the date of the last month that's really all the crisis are happy will probably wrapping it next week or so you'll start figure out ways to get that content to you soon whether that's through lips full-length interviews, documentary edited together pieces we have extended years with opposite to be part of the show recruit now, Mike Pompeo, but also play a note to John Ashcroft this morning.
A lot of other names within Washington within your Wes was on it as well talk about his time at Dover we dive really deep into what's happening. We want to capture the motion as was happening and that should still unfold, which is why actually saying a lot of beginning of the interviews is what they were at right now soap and people watch the no where we are in time because so much changes but I want to make sure we were able to capture a lot of this content in fully half hour interviews again with some really, really interesting takes a lot of diversity in the text gets of some people don't think we should stay states that we should leave.
Here's a lot of different points of view is they left the right way. I think it's important yet no one thinks left the right way and they all have the same feeling about their for the war on terror was Nestlé in vain. But they all really disappointed in the. The ending and I hope when you interview me. I want to talk about this whole rush aspect because I was sleep and personal experience was present, drums of lawyer during the Russian probe and then on the impeachment Ukraine issue. I have a unique perspective on this and it it's just to me it's it's just incredible that this is happened that you had the top military officials in the United States of America talking to Russian counterparts about utilizing their military base is as it is a is a way in which we could conduct counterterrorism so we got this Logan's doing and his team are doing a lot of work to put this together helped rapid next week. Every time we think it fades away. It's coming back full circle yet another guest confirms in the intimate has good grades will start rolling out the content. I think soon regardless because we don't want to get to dated you see a concert as its unfolding about to do a documentary with forensics content added together shall have a historical piece that always look back on again. We had just in an excellent group of panelists and in interviews we've done exit. His symbol to set a lot of this emotion and see it in this way we also representative Walt's Sen. Langford again. Wes my pump. Eric and I love you Jordan with a couple others that are pending. Confirmations will save you later couple more before you wrap up ambition is a big project for the ACLJ and want will be able to get you a very spirit use of that going to take this phone call coming because I think this is very very tight in Texas online going on here Mike, you are putting our parents in danger by putting them on Russian date. I the fact that we been having this conversation puts us in danger.
In my view, but author Nicole Smith on this, but Mike brings up a very good point. Just having the troops if we did this base there.
I don't think there and personal physical danger.
What what what is in danger is so much of our sensitive information. Our capabilities and the mission itself by putting our troops for counterterrorism missions on a Russian base you're giving up a great bit of control to our counterterrorism operations to the Russians themselves. So the implications for our national security and for the ongoing success and accuracy of the missions is what's at stake, more so than the personal safety of our soldiers, but it is a it is a is the wrong idea.
It violates a bill passed by Congress unless the Secretary of Defense approves it. I can imagine secular Austin doing that perhaps it would that that is unbelievable as it sounds. Apparently today the Biden ministration is actually considering putting US assets. Some of our most sensitive counterterrorism assets on a Russian military base and in the central Asia countries. I am flabbergasted when I see it I could even like I said to Logan I and will and I was just true. I mean, irresistibly picking up his is a bad new source is not a new source of a million a minute here Harry but it's it's coming from the mouth absolutely members. So what we have. I think I'm going is essentially an unconditional surrender of US interests by Biden administration bureaucrat and then the US military is tasked with the job of carrying this flow. I certainly hope that the US diplomats are unwilling to give our military and nuclear codes to the Russians going forward knowing that you think about the talking with him in our counter intelligence and counterterrorism thing about their counterintelligence capability. The Russians of the US military assets on their basis with their permission. Think about how that is about a counter counterintelligence move. What would be better. They even so, why did Joe Biden then say to general really hate this follow up on this.
Give me what this is what so ridiculous double standard only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive.
And that's exactly what you are saying when the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you, are not well this is the perfect time to stand with us. ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing work, member today ACLJ secular still sometime your voice heard what hundred 684-3110 can continue the conversation about the current hearing the tapping right now on Afghanistan. The Taliban and Howard yeah and this idea that we were considering Russian military bases as possible launching deployment sites for US military, which to me seems so absurd and then Joe Biden as his conversation with Boone and then the Biden ministration gets general really to have the follow-up with his counterpart. I cannot even believe that I been saying this for now.
I still I thought it was a fake outline. I said this morning. Is this true in our pre-meetings. Is this really true. Can we verify this verify it will said it's been discussing for the United States Senate to play that by for you again because this is this is the conversation. This is where we are in the administration right now. Take a look.
This is the floor of the United States Senate being reported right now that the Biden administration reached out to Russia about using Russian basis in the central Asian nations bordering Afghanistan to the north for our strike assets to fly out of for the end over the horizon.
Counterterrorism missions is that true Sen. this is an issue that I believe came up during a conversation at present with Pres. Putin will Pres. boom offered to to offer to provide assistance that have you reached out to the Russians asking specifically to use basis. Joe really just recently had a conversation with his construction, so the reports are true, that have been coming out today. I can assure you that we are not seeking Russia's permission to do anything but I believe in general we can speak for himself. I believe that the asked for clarification on what… What that offer will okay okay clarification of what the officer we are actually they had been having these conversations and on Capitol Hill were having these conversations because these conversations actually took place. Yeah I mean I think he can translate that entire conversation with one answer yes the conversations took place that that was the answer to general Austin was getting in a roundabout fashion and I think the two main takeaways for me to J this is the first one I think about the alliances the partnerships that this withdrawal strategy from Afghanistan has created. Apparently there's one with Russia. Clearly there was Artie one with a towel man that might tell you something about the original strategy but underlying that JI think maybe the biggest one is. This is clearly a commander-in-chief issue because of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is not consulted about an order until 10 days after it's given you can think Gen. Millie's a bad actor if you want there some supportive evidence for that J. This was a strategy developed for needed and executed at the level of the commander-in-chief. Okay, so, so we know it's a failure. Now this is also important. Sen. Sharon, this is Democrats here are questioning some of this to take listener. Her colloquy US forces conducted at least a couple of airstrikes in the middle of July, aimed at blunting the Taliban's rapid advance. This interest in in in July you are aware that they Dandy was aware that the situation was deteriorating rapidly by July. Why was an action taken to secure the Kabul airport or retake that blend them.
Thank you, Sen. You write the tempo had picked up significantly. The telegram continued to make advances our entire chain of command myself, the chairman Gerald Mackenzie routinely engage the Afghan leadership to encourage them to solidify their defensive plans to make sure that they were providing the right logistics to their troops and and and and further stiffen their defenses to no avail.
Okay Smith what is this is military speak you know what he is not saying and he knows and the generals know they're doing a delicate dance. Although I think Carlson needs dance lessons is not doing too good of job on that dance, but never the Taliban and was beginning to take provincial capital after provincial capital. The US under Biden's you know order says commander-in-chief withdrew our close air support of the Afghan military so they're fighting somewhat blind the televangelist is taking over the country. They get directly approaching Kabul to to surround cobalt Kabul.
By this point, according to Jenna Miller today. There were seven conditions.
With that we made with the tell a man on the Delhi agreement they had violated six of the seven conditions and yet the Biden ministration chose to not attack them to not make them pay a price. The military gay President Biden a wide range of military options that included looking at the risk to our forces and the rest of the mission and President Biden chose to ignore his military commanders and order a complete withdrawal on a date certain. Even though the telegram was taking over the whole country and was just about to take Kabul and President Biden. He is the commander-in-chief went against his military advisers and did all of this anyway and basically left the Afghan military without the support they needed his force Intel and air support and defend our country and our actions aid in the military falling yes if you abide by default. Absolutely, we withdrew critical support that would've helped the Afghan military tech to protect their own country. Are we look at this. Also, from a policy perspective into me. This looks like a total policy failure absolutely so United States military conducted a military strike or several of them in July. Kabul fell on August 15. It took the Biden administration 10 days to ask the US military whether the United States military withdrawal strategy was correct, that is 10 days.
Why, why didn't the administration take action to protect Americans on August 15 or better yet, in July, when they knew the country was headed toward a collapse. So in reality the Biden administration abandoned American lives not on August 31 but sometime in July they made an affirmative and spineless decision to behave to the terrorist regime.
This is a deliberate and in my judgment, intentional failure by the Biden administration. So rather than a protect American lives rather than send troops when they were necessary.
The Biden administration made a calculus. But guess what. They then sent American troops to protect the airport so why not send those troops and when it would have made a strategic difference. So I think at the end of the day the Biden administration is fully at fault question was about Bagram airbase.
Whenever the general trash today. How can we didn't retake bargain. They feel that would've required 5000 more troops in order to retake the base and yet what they ended up doing. They ended up sending 5000 more troops to Kabul airport to bolster the 2500.
Already there). Let's also talk about tomorrow at right before radio we got a hearing birth called around label.
