Good evening and welcome to another edition of What's Right What's Left, the voice of the Christian Resistance, on this April 1, 2025. And tonight my very experienced and very, very capable co-host, you know, people ask me to style his real name. Actually, it's his radio name.
His real name is Orville Gasly. Oh, man, you really let that slip like that? April Fools! That would be a good reason to change your name to style, I guess, wouldn't it?
Yeah, that'd probably be a beneficial one. All right. Well, let me see. We've got to get into the scripture, don't we?
We've got a lot to do tonight. And so the title of the message this week was, Is it the Holy Spirit or the Unholy Spirit? As we look at some of these sign gifts out there today. And we're going to pick it up where we left off in Acts chapter 2, and we'll just kind of go over a little bit where we started in verse 1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And so, you know, do you know what Pentecost means?
Refresh me. It means 50 days. It means 50 days was the festival observed 50 days after the Feast of the First Fruits, which was held on a Sabbath day. So, in fact, the resurrection was held on the first day of the week. Thus, Pentecost was held on the first day of the week. It was on such a day that the Holy Spirit came to dwell in the church after the saints. After this, the saints started to observe the Sabbath on the first day of the week because just as the weekly observance of the Sabbath was on the commemoration of creation on the seventh day, now God's great work of redemption was completed on the first day of the week. And, of course, we see, if we just jump over here real quick to Acts chapter 20 and verse 7, we read this. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow, and continued his speech until midnight. And, of course, if we go to 1 Corinthians chapter 6, verses 1 and 2, chapter 16. Now, concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia even to you do, upon the first day of the week, let every one of you lay by himself in store. God had prospered him.
There be no gatherings when I come. Then, of course, we see in Revelation, we see Jesus appeared in the upper room on the first day of the week. He arose on the first day of the week.
And we see in Revelation over there one that the first day of the week is called the Lord's Day. And he said, And suddenly there came a strong sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues, like as fire. And I want to say they appeared as fire. They weren't fire.
They weren't fire. They appeared like fire, and it set upon each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now, you notice it says other tongues, okay, there. It doesn't say some kind of unknown tongues. There's some strange tongues, right? Just other tongues. What does that mean? It means other known dialects, other languages.
That's what it means. And so here now, it goes on to say, And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews. Now, here, because today when you have so many people speaking in tongues today, it's not known dialects like it's supposed to be, but it's gibberish. Now, I've been at a number of, I've preached at a number of Cares of Medicare Pentecostal churches, and you say, Well, why were you preaching in a Cares? Well, because they asked me to come and preach a pro-life message. Because I used to be, I mean, very, very, very active preaching all over the country in pro-life messages.
And so I would come to preach a pro-life message, and some of those pastors were good friends of mine. We just didn't agree on Scripture. And here, in every case, you know, the only people that are specifically told not to speak in tongues specifically are women. And I can tell you, Stile, if there were ten people speaking in tongues, eight of them would be women. And there wasn't supposed to be more than three, three at the most, and it was supposed to have an interpreter. There never was an interpreter, you know, in all those cases there. And the only other ones that I've seen that done this, they spoke in tongues and then they interpreted themselves.
Well, that's totally contrary to what Scripture teaches. Scripture teaches you're not supposed to know what you're saying, you're speaking in a tongue, and someone is supposed to be there to interpret it. Now, I've had situations where, here, I've had people call right here live in on the radio program talking about how, and these are people that have, they're from foreign countries, Poland, Germany, Ireland, so on and so forth. And one case, it might have been Hungarian, trying to remember, this woman called and she said she couldn't believe what just happened, she was just at this charismatic church and people were speaking in tongues and they were cursing! They were cursing God, and the people in there didn't even realize that they were, in other words, I can't remember if she was Polish, might have been Hungarian, I had another case, and they said, and this woman was standing up and she was cursing God. And nobody even realized it but her, because she was speaking in her language, clearly, and so that's kind of what's going on today.
So the devil likes to imitate the sign gifts, doesn't he? So, anyhow, so we pick it up there, and there were dwelling Jerusalem, devout men, out of every nation, under heaven. Now this was noise abroad, the multitude came together, and they were confounded because they heard every man speak in his own language. So, you hear what I'm saying, Stile?
I'm listening. Okay, so you have, this is known dialect from fifteen different regions. They were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not all of these which speak Galatians. Now, those that were sitting there at the table, where the cloven tongues came down upon them, they were all Galatians. How, how, and how here we, every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born, in the Parthians and the Medes and the Elamites and the dwellers in Mesopotamia and Judea and Cappadocia and Pontius and Asia and Phrygia and Pamphylia and Egypt, and in all parts of Libya and Cyrene, the strangers of Rome, Jews, proselytes, Crete, Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. And they were all amazed, and they were, they were in doubt, some saying one to another, What? Meaning this, others mockingly said, These men are full of new wine. Of course, it was like nine o'clock in the morning, so it wasn't, it wasn't that they were full of new wine, was it?
I don't think so. And so, I want to go back now to where we left off over there in 1 Corinthians, and in 1 Corinthians chapter 13, I want to pick it up in verse 8, Charity never faileth, but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail. Now here, that word katargio, katargio in the Greek for fail, means to vanish, it means to disappear. And it goes on to say, And whether there be tongues, they shall cease. Now that word there, pal, pal in the Greek means to come to an end, to end, to stop, it'll stop. And whether there, and they shall cease, and whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Now that's the very same word here, vanish away is the very same word, faileth, they use their katargio in the Greek. And so here, he says, for we know in part and we prophesize in part. What do you think he meant by that?
I'm not sure. They didn't have, they had the Old Testament, but they didn't have the completed 66 books of the canon. You still had at this time foretelling, they were still prophesizing foretelling here, but Paul is saying that the time is going to come when there will be no more foretelling. If we see there in Hebrews chapter 1, that time has come to an end here, we see this also here in Revelation 22 18. So you see it here in verse 8 in 1 Corinthians, Hebrews 1, Revelation 22 18, where it said that they will, prophecies will cease. Now you'll have forthtelling. That's what we're doing right here and now is what we're doing. This is we're prophesizing what it's called forthtelling. We're bringing on the Word of God, and we're referring to what has already taken place. But when that it was his perfect has come then that which is in part should be done away with.
Okay, so that was just perfect means complete that word means complete, what do we have we have the completed 66 books of the canon don't we. So, so when I was a child, I speak as a child. I understood as a child. I thought as a child.
But when I became a man I put away childish things. I think I, I told that story on that what happened there. I think it was on Sunday night when I was a child. What happened with in church.
When the Bible study first I told that and the kids, they liked it so much that they demanded that a retailer again during the morning service. But when I was a child. I understood as a child. When I was about eight years old and my brother was about five. One time we had wandered away from my older brother who was supposed to be watching us he was a teenager at the time.
And here. Actually, we knew our way home we took a shortcut through the woods to make us home which cut off about 10 miles but anyhow was dark and late at night we got home and nobody was home, nobody was there they were all out looking for us. And so we go in and we, we sit down we turn on the television. And back in those days Ronald Reagan was a young Ronald Reagan. And he had this program called masterpiece theater 20 mule team borax. This is way before your time you wouldn't remember any of this.
But anyhow, in that we were watching them. And here, it starts out with a. This young pretty teenage girl running down this path through the woods running for her life and then all you can see is a man following her but you can only see up to his chin you couldn't see his face.
And he had a switch and he was in this big switch he was beating the bushes. The next scene it turns to cheese at home cheese in bed. Her mother's in the room with a doctor, your mother says to the doctor. She was raped, doctor.
Now, I want to put you in there. Here, you're eight years old. You see a young girl running through the woods down the path. You see this guy behind her, and he's got this switch, and he's hitting things. Next thing you know, she's in bed.
The doctors there in the mother says she's raped. You're eight years old in your mind, what does that mean. I'm not even sure.
Okay. Well, what it means to me at eight years old, is when you took a switch and hit somebody that was called rape. And so what happened was, you don't remember this because you probably never did this. There used to be a game we used to play called run sheep run. You probably never heard of it to have you.
I have not. People, you miss so much. I got the switch quite a few times, but I don't remember a run sheep run. Well, we used to, what you'd do is you would go up against a tree. You'd have to put your forehead up against a tree, and you'd have to put your hand out, close your eyes, and then somebody would put a switch in your hand. And when, as soon as that, you would count to ten. But you could count, you know, sometimes we cheated. We said five ten, you know.
Right. We counted in fives, or two four six eight ten. And then you would chase the person that handed you the stick. Well, it was my brother that handed me the stick. And I was chasing him, and I had this switch, and as we ran around the house, the side door, I was yelling out, I'm going to rape you, I'm going to rape you. Because that's what I thought that meant, you know, because the next thing I know, I've got a hand over my mouth, and I'm picked up by a hand over my mouth. And then by the back of the neck, like, and I'm drunk, I'm drug into the house, and my mother's eyes were as big as saucers. And she thought she was going to faint. She said, where did you hear that word?
I told her it was on television last night. And she told me, she said, don't ever say that word again. And I said, why?
And she said, never mind why, okay? So here's what Paul was saying. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, well, and that's what I understood as a child, it shows you how far off you can be, huh? That's very true. And so, and it says, when I become a man, I put away childish things.
Well, I put away that thing, that rape right then and there, because I didn't want to. Yeah, so that's a good thing. Yeah, and so, but anyhow, and so here, what is he referring to? He's referring to the sign gifts, isn't he? And so, in other words, they needed a sign, they needed a sign to believe. Speaking in tongues or something, but Paul didn't need any sign to believe, did he?
Let me ask you this. So in 1 Corinthians 13, 10, we read, when the perfect has come, that in part shall pass, be done away with, right? And so obviously we're talking about the completed book, the 66 books of the completed Bible. I've heard it argued that when perfect shall come is talking to the second coming.
No, a lot of times that has, there's more than one application in that, but no, he's referring to, there are two things that has an application there. One, you can apply, they were under the letter of the law, and under the completion of scripture, you are now under the spirit of the law, so you're no longer under the letter of the law, but under the spirit of the law. And they knew in part then, okay, but now, under the completed canon of scriptures, we have, in other words, there's no new prophecies coming out. And in fact, he tells you there in Revelation 22, verse 18, if you add to any new prophecies, then the plagues written in this book will be added to you, if you take away from, and that's exactly what the New Age Bible versions have done, 64,000 less words in the NIV than in the King James Bible. Well, and at least for me, you know, I look at this verse here alone, if we break it down to the two parts here, you look at that second part, and this is that which is in part shall be done away with, shall pass away, right? And for the people that argue that, it's talking about the second coming, I think that's kind of where that aspect of it falls apart is, you wouldn't say, you know, the initial birth of Jesus Christ was in part, he wasn't partial God, right?
He wasn't, I don't know, I think that's where it gets confusing for me, that argument of it. Okay, well, it's really got nothing to do with Christ's return at all. Right. Okay.
Well, that's what I'm saying, I'm saying for that argument, it doesn't really hold up. Yeah, it's referring again to the completed canon of scriptures. And he says, for now we see through a glass darkly, and then face to face, that word glass actually means, you know, even see through a mirror, okay? But then face to face, now I know in part, but then shall I know even as I also am known, in other words, you know, Paul is a big part of the completion of the New Testament. And here, when he's talking about, you know, part, we had the Old Testament, but we didn't have the completed, it wasn't completed until about 90 something A.D., okay?
So this is a ways after this was being written right now. And so, with that, I want to jump over to chapter 14. In chapter 14, I want to pick it up in verse 26. How is it then, brethren, when you come together, every one of you have a psalm, have a doctrine, have a tongue, have a revelation, have an interpretation, let all things be done to edify.
Okay, so now here, Paul is kind of saying, you know, how does this happen? I mean, this, you know, that all of a sudden, all of you people have these gifts, it's a little strange. Now, the gifts he's talking about in the sign gifts, first of all, you were referring to altogether 13 different sign gifts. Okay, he was giving you, let's see, it was seven in the, I'm thinking it was seven in the, yeah, it was 13 spiritual gifts. It was seven here in the books of Acts, and if you take a look, or here in Corinthians, and then if you take a look over in Romans, it was six, it was 13 spiritual different gifts. Now, when they sign gifts, nobody had all of the gifts, no one had all of the gifts. Okay, everybody had some gift, all of those that were Christians, everyone that was a Christian had some gift, okay?
There was no one gift out of all of the 13 that everybody had. And so, here, he goes on to say, if any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two or three at the most. Now, like I said, I've been in these churches where you have ten people speaking in tongues, and all at the same time. And that by course, and let one interpret, and listen to this, and if there be no interpreter, let him speak, keep silent in the church, and let him speak unto himself and unto God. Well, I've seen these people go, and they go up and they'll speak in a gibberish, it will not be a known dialect, it'll be a gibberish, and then afterward, they will tell you what they just said. This is totally not the way that God's word in the Bible tells you, that legitimate, that real tongue is spoken, okay? But if there be no interpreter, let him be silent in the church, and let him speak to himself and to God, but let the prophet speak two or three, and let the others judge.
I'm going to stop right there and pick it up there tomorrow, and so we'll be back right after this. Plain to see that no one there had ever seen him there before. The preacher looked so out of place, he wasn't there to quench his thirst. He walked up to me and said, when you left this at the church. He laid my Bible on the bar, the one my mother gave to me, the night she went to be with God. My mother told me, please, promise me you'll change your ways, and that you'll give the Lord your heart. I knelt down there and I prayed with Mama's Bible on the bar. I cried, Jesus, please forgive me, and Lord, please tell my mother that tonight I kept my promise.
And Lord, would you tell her that I love her? The people there all heard my prayer. That bartender said to me, you ought to not do that in here, sir, I believe you better leave. He took his apron off and said, but if you don't mind, I'll leave with you. He wiped the tear away and then he said I had a mother too. He laid my Bible on the bar, the one my mother gave to me, the night she went to be with God. My mother told me, please, promise me you'll change your ways, and that you'll give the Lord your heart.
I knelt down there and I prayed with Mama's Bible on the bar. That was Danny Ray, and Danny Ray was what a talented, talented man, a very good, dear friend for many, many years, a dear friend. Danny was always taking parts, always helping, volunteering, helping us raise funds, and he wrote, I think, about 300 songs. And he did what a job, very talented man. Him and I sang a number of songs together. He went home to be with the Lord just about a year ago.
Anyhow, that song reminded me of something one time. I got a call from a lady who, she was very upset, she was crying. She said the bartender called her and told her her husband was passed out, stoned, passed out on the bar, with his head on the bar. She said he's keeping an eye on him, but his wallet's sticking out of his back pocket. And she called and said, I don't know what to do. She said, I can't carry him out of there.
So I said, I'll take care of it. I went over and he was passed all the way up. But here's, so I literally carried him. I mean, I literally put him over my shoulder and I carried him out.
And I was doing real well, but there was one of those little steps, you know, not a regular step where you, you know, an eight inch step, but one of those little two inch steps that I didn't see. And when I hit that, I tripped and I dropped Ray and he landed right on his head. And he woke up. He was sitting there, he woke up, his eyes were big as saucers, he was looking around and he was wondering, what am I doing out here? And I said, stand up and let's go, I'm taking you home.
And boy, he was in trouble when he got home. But anyhow, hey, guess who we have with us right here? We have Keith Davies for Citizens for Property Tax Reform. Hey Keith. Hey Pastor Ernie, how are you tonight?
I'm doing pretty good my friend, and how are you? Wonderful, thank you so much. And I do, before we talk about property tax, I want to offer a praise to the Lord. I didn't realize it, so I went on Facebook, but today is the seventh anniversary of Stiles baptism. Yes it is Keith. Wow. Praise the Lord, I had no idea Stiles, congratulations, that is wonderful. Thank you my friend. There you go.
Praise the Lord. So Pastor Ernie, so we, I'm with Citizens for Property Tax Reform, and we've talked about this before. But we're in the process of rolling out a constitutional amendment to abolish property tax in the state of Ohio. And you know, there's a couple of groups that have been working on this primarily. Our group, you know Brian Massey from Lake County, with Lobbyists for Citizens. And we also have a group down in Portage County, Elaine Cross, with ACT Ohio Tax. And then there's another group down in Cincinnati, Sarah Wolfe, Hamilton County Homeowners.
So we've been working really for two years now. And we have been meeting with state legislatures and trying to get them to give seniors and low income, some really. You know, we have met with them, and we explain to them, and they know, I mean seniors are losing their homes. Low income people can't afford, they have to sell their homes and move into apartments.
So over two years, we've got nothing. Here's the best reason to do what you're doing. Because property taxes are not lawful taxes. They're not lawful at all, OK? The Word of God is fairly clear on that. And so these people are taxing what belongs to God.
And you're not supposed to tax God's children or His land. Amen. Amen. You know, really, the state legislature has forced us to do this. And we actually rolled it out this weekend.
Our group was down in Zanesville. We had a big rally down there, and we rolled out this petition. And so we're in phase one of phase two.
So, and this is, I'm reaching out to our Christian community to help us with this, because this is a heavy lift. So phase one of this, we have an initiative petition that we need about 1,000 signatures. And we'll probably collect 1,000, 2,000, and that needs to be submitted to the Secretary of State in Columbus. He'll review that, make sure that the amendment we've drafted, the petition, is not deceptive and it's clear and concise. Hopefully he will send us that back and give us the permission to move on to phase two, which is nearly half a million signatures around the state of Ohio, to get it on the ballot. But, you know, we've seen over the last four or five years, Pastor Ernie, that there's been two issue ones, and the people haven't been able to get it on the ballot. And I really believe, with as angry as people are around the state and hurting, that we can get this on the ballot and we can pass it. So, like I said, I'm reaching out to the Christian community. I've already contacted a couple of churches to help us set up signing events, where we would be there on a Sunday or a Wednesday evening after their service and have people sign our petitions.
And so phase one, the thousand signatures, is not huge. We can get those anywhere. So we're already working on those. We need help on that. But phase two, Pastor Ernie, we're going to need help in all 88 counties. We need a show like yours that's statewide and nationwide, but people listen to you all over the state of Ohio.
And we're going to periodically, with your permission, come on, update them on where signings are going to be, ask them for help. And by the grace of God, we're going to try to get this on the ballot by November. And total abolishment of property tax. And the state legislature, they've got to start over and figure out, there's other ways to fund schools and roads and fire stations.
There's other ways to do this. But, you know, tax me anyway you want, but don't tax my property. And we're going to go for total abolishment, sir. Well, you know, Keith, one of the things here, a lot of older folks have lost their homes because of these taxes. And the way they've raised these taxes, you know, I thought, well, I guess I didn't think it was only in my county. But I know that they've really raised my property tax way up and all across the state.
And it's just sneaky. And like I said, a lot of the elderly that are on set incomes, even though their mortgages have been paid off, you know, they still don't own their property because of these taxes. Again, but now taking the tax away from a politician, boy, I'm going to tell you, that's like taking a chicken dinner away from a Baptist.
It's going to be dope. Or an apple pie. No, that's true. And we are going to, we're already experiencing pushback. And of course, when we meet with any of the state politicians and we say, you know, we want relief in whatever form, that's the question they ask us as well.
How do you plan to make up the funding? And our question is, no, that's not the question. The question is, how are you going to start reducing costs of all the, you know, we need Doge in Ohio. We need Doge in every county, every school board. And we've got to start to be.
We've got to start to be. Since we started this thing a couple of years ago, we regularly get calls from people, seniors especially, crying on the phone pass journey that said we can't afford it. We're going to be, we have to sell our home and we don't know where to, where we're going to go. And these politicians are telling me, so we have an 84 year old woman at one of our meetings in West Park a couple of months ago. And she talked to a state legislator in Lake County that said to her, listen, honey, you know, your house is worth so much today. Why don't you sell it and move into an apartment? Now, what would you do, Pastor, if that legislature told you to do that?
Sell your house and move into an apartment. It's criminal what these guys are doing. Yeah, I know.
It's criminal. So we've got to end it. We have to end it.
And again, you know, still whatever help you can give us. Churches out there, I've already had a couple churches reach out and say, yes, you can come and do petition signings at our church. Any event that people are having out there where we can come and stand there and get some signatures, any meetings you're having. We're going to the Republican Club in Middleburg Heights next week.
Any meetings anywhere in the state. So we were in Zanesville Saturday. We had a lot of farmers there. And you know what they're doing?
A farmer is a criminal too. I know Brian Massey said he was going to be. He was at the Tea Party meeting, but they didn't have the petitions made up yet. Now you guys all have the same petition? Yeah, we're all working together.
Okay. Well, we're going to have the Tea Party meetings. You get everybody there will sign.
I know of course our church will sign, but on the 26th of this month, we're going to have a right to life, a chili cook-off to raise money for the right to life. And I think there's going to be about three or four hundred people there probably. Oh yeah. And so that would be a good place to come and in fact actually speak. You can actually come and Is that a doer's door? No, this is going to be held on the 26th on a Saturday starting at noon. And that's going to be held at the Metzenbaum Center there in Chesterland. Okay. Yeah. Walking with Brian, we'll plan on being there. That's wonderful.
Great idea. Yeah. You know, I met your two brothers. Do you have a brother, Bob?
No. Well, maybe I guess I didn't meet your brothers. I thought it was the same last name, Davies. Oh yeah. No, it's like the tree company, but we're not related.
It might have been a brother from another mother. Yeah. So we, and if I, you know, if I can have an opportunity. So our website, Pastor Ernie, is reformpropertytax.com, reformpropertytax.com. And you can go on there for my contact numbers, emails, you know, to find out where we're having these events. And we also have a Facebook site, which is Citizens for Property Tax Ohio. Most of our people go to our Facebook site.
I mean, it's a powerful media for us seniors. Citizens for Property Tax Reform Ohio. And then real quick, Brian Massey's website is lobbyist for citizens, lobbyist for citizens.
And a lame site in Portage County is taxoh.com. So we've got a multiple ways of getting in touch with people. And we also, and actually, Stile is our producer. We do a Tuesday night show on 1220, same station we're on right now, at seven o'clock. And it's strictly about property tax.
It's called Boys to the People. And all we talk about for the half hour, that's all we can afford, is property tax around the state. So if anybody has a chance to tune into this same station, 1220, Tuesday at seven, we can update them on what we're doing around the state. So we need communication on shows like yours, and we're going to need a lot of people to do the heavy lifting.
And I'm counting on all you Christians out there to come through for us and help us with this. So please, please reach out to our group. Let us come out and sign signatures at any events you're having. We'll go anywhere in the state of Ohio. Please reach out. I know people all around the state are listening to us right now. All right, maybe one of those nights when you're there, you know, when you're off the air, maybe go out and grab something to eat and if you wanted to. I know I'm a little late for you guys, but you can sit in with us, with me on the radio program too.
Yeah, we'll grab Brian and Elaine and it'll be wonderful. And I've been on your show before, thank you so much. I mean, you have a wonderful platform. I listen to you as many times a night as I can.
I'm in my pajamas now, what a picture, oops, sorry. But you've done great service and everybody loves you, so thank you so much. We're on five stations in Ohio, so I think we've got about the most listened to radio program in Ohio. Oh, I'm sure you do.
I'm sure you do, yeah. And this is where you can really help us, Pastor Ernie, is just letting us have the opportunity to say, okay, we're doing a signing this coming Friday in Chillicothe. And that would help tremendously so we get the people to turn out. Because half a million signatures is a lot of signatures and a lot of work. You know, you're right, and what's happened, the people, the reason that these things happen to us and the reason that they're doing that and you have these huge property taxes and people losing their property from these politicians is because people put up with it. Just like this Doge thing. I got a little clip, I just want you to listen.
It's only a few minutes, a few seconds, but listen. To people outside of the United States, the Doge report, healthcare edition. So just found that the U.S. healthcare corporation spent 95% of their income to shareholder payouts. Not on more research, not on staffing issues, not on infrastructure, but shareholder payouts. That totaled about $2.6 trillion over the last 20 years. Fun fact, the U.S. taxpayers pay about 70% of those fees. Also just breaking, if that wasn't enough to make it too fit to be tied, $2.7 trillion, again, $2.7 trillion has been improperly paid out in Medicare and Medicaid to people outside of our country. I hope you heard me. I didn't say million, I didn't say billion. I said $2.7 trillion of taxpayer money has been improperly paid in Medicare and Medicaid to people outside of the United States. That's Maria Lucia Paul.
She is one of the Doge, the people that's working with Elon Musk and the Doge. Can you believe that? Can you believe that? I mean, I can't even imagine a trillion. And that amount of money to people outside, and it's happening because people allow it, and we've got to stop it. What's more amazing is that people are actually protesting Elon Musk for doing this.
What is wrong with these people? How can you be against getting rid of theft? You know, God is not the author of confusion. Now just think about this for a minute, Keith. Think about this. You know, Elon Musk was out today, he says he knows now, he knows exactly the mastermind, the one that's behind this thing of burning down his car dealerships and burning the cars and the stations there where they charge the stations.
But anyhow, now think about this for a minute. The reason these are Democrats, the Democrats, they don't like gasoline-powered cars. They want us, they've got to eliminate gasoline-powered cars, that's been their goal. So what are they doing? They're burning down electric cars.
The best electric car is made, okay? That's a Democrat. I mean, it's so hypocritical. I mean, everything they do is just hypocritical. Every day you get up and you hear more that Musk is coming upon, and it's shocking. And, you know, people are still just in denial, and part of the problem is they don't listen to the right radio stations or watch the right TV stations, because it's all being exposed. The Lord's exposing all this.
But the other group is just, they still have the veil on past earnings, and they don't... It's moving in our direction there, where it comes to getting the word out, Keith, because you notice that the so-called legacy media, now they're not referring to themselves as mainstream anymore, because they no longer are the majority. They've lost that. Their listenership has declined way down. In fact, more people listen to AM talk radio now. They get their news from AM talk radio than they do from TV now. And when it comes to CNN, actually the food channel, the food channel has more listeners now than CNN.
I believe it. Yeah, and it's like the one woman that Leslie, what's her name, on there, she actually come out and said it's because we weren't telling the truth, you know. You just had that woman from NPR, National Public Radio.
Oh my God, wasn't that an incredible interview? Yeah, well, you know, she had said earlier that a couple weeks ago that the reason that they didn't tell the truth all the time is because a lot of times it was easier to understand if you weren't telling the truth. In other words, she admitted, yeah, we lie. We lie.
And they asked if they were biased, as far as NPR, they had 95 employees there, and you had 95 Democrats and 0 Republicans, but they said they weren't biased. Well, you know, the timing for us on this is perfect. I mean, it's all in God's timing. And, you know, with Doge going on on the federal level and everybody being aware of this now, we've got to take advantage of the Doge mentality to get things done with these property taxes, with schools. I mean, the layers of fat of administrators in public schools is just, it's another thing that needs to be done.
And I'm convinced unless we starve the Beast pastor, it's never going to change. Well, you're absolutely right, Keith. I mean, the mindset is, look, the more money you pay per student, the dumber they come out.
I mean, that's the way it's been working, you know. You know, back in 1962, we had, scholastically, the United States of America was number one, number one in the world, scholastically. And that meant, too, as far as the money we spent, was not, we weren't spending the most amount of money.
Today we are, and we're something like 43rd. And most of our kids can't read. I mean, I was in the Cleveland public schools in the 60s, pastor. And in the 60s, the Cleveland public schools were some of the top schools in math and reading in the entire United States.
And look at it now. I think the last time we looked, each student in the city of Cleveland was, they were spending $28,000 per student. Most of them can't read at a third-grade level.
Most of them don't graduate. And they just passed another eight-point mill levy that, a property tax levy in Cleveland, that has almost doubled people's taxes in the city of Cleveland. I know.
Like you said, you throw more money at it, and it's getting worse and worse and worse. And, you know, and not only, you know, but they abused the children with the pornography and the things that they put in there. But, you know, when I was, in order, when I was, again, we had public schools. In order to go from the third grade to the fourth, you had to be able to read the front page. Back in those days, it was the Cleveland Press. And then there was another, there was another paper there, too, but before the Plain Dealer. But you had to read it.
That's what I did. I got up, I didn't understand everything I was reading, but I understood the words and I could read the words. Right, right. I mean, they put these kids at such a disadvantage by not being able to read and do the simple things. And then they wonder why, you know, they can't find jobs, they're out on the street. And in this property tax thing, you know, besides the city of Cleveland, you take, I met with one of the council people from the city of East Cleveland two weeks ago. And the poorest community in the state of Ohio averaged 65% increase in the property taxes. I mean, this is criminal.
Garfield life, again, one of the, you know, not a very affluent community anymore, 45%. I mean, this is criminal what they're doing. And, of course, it's probably not fair. This is probably part of the problem. I had a guy tell me that, you know, in Zanesville, that it seems like this is what the government wants to have.
They want us to lose our homes. We're coming up, we're coming up to a break if you want to just hang on for a second, you know, and we can, I can pick you up on the other side of the break. If you don't mind, I am going to go.
I got to hit the deck. I got to early. But thank you so, so much. Alrighty.
