After the morning service, we're going to have a church dinner, and so there will be no evening service at Doers of the Word Baptist Church this week. Anyhow, Walter and John and Randall, here I'm seeing something. Tell me if you're seeing what I'm seeing. Well, first of all, I'm seeing men are becoming more conservative.
They're moving farther to the right. And I'm seeing, especially in the black community, and I'm seeing people being scorned by Barack Obama. Really calling black men, telling them that they're cowards for not supporting Kamala. Do you see what I'm seeing? Well, what happened is a lot of young black men in the cities recognized what President Trump was going through with all those charges put on him because many of them faced the same thing.
And I even heard a young African American guy in one city say, hey, we can give you better security than the Secret Service can. And so I think resonated that they're trying to, you know, they're trying to destroy this man by putting all this stuff on him. And it happens to us. And when you say they recognize that. Yeah. So, amen.
But Randall, would you say? Yeah, absolutely. I think it's also part of a supernatural awakening that God is doing, allowing the blinders to be taken off, and to really see what the Democratic Party has done, because I can go back and I can remember I did, I voted for Obama. But, you know, it wasn't until afterwards sometime that I started realizing, man, these people are lying to you.
You know, we vote them in and then it's the same old thing again. So it was a supernatural awakening for me. And I believe that that's what's happening with so many others. So that's what's happening, Pastor Ernie.
God is moving. Yes, well, you know, too, because the black community being I believe they were about 13% of the population in this country, and yet they were about over 30%, almost 40% of the baby killed. That's right. And so you've seen these greedy people using, you know, the blood of black babies that are just unbelievable how wicked it is. But they're finally waking up to that.
That's right. And it's radio stations like this that you begin to hear the truth. Yes, this and I can say Alex Jones was another one that really helped to open my eyes to be able to begin to see what the difference between the Democratic and Republican Party.
And so, yeah, well, you know, it's the Democratic Party, they started the Ku Klux Klan, actually was the Ku Klux Klan, you know, was there before, you know, and you're right, they became one. What do you think, John McTernan? Pastor Ernie, also what's really playing in with the black population is the illegal aliens and how the, well, especially the liberals in the cities and all, they've turned, I mean, completely back to the blacks and the money that should be helping communities. They're going to put up the illegal aliens in hotels and medical care and food and all that.
So they're Americans, you know, people are Americans. In Chicago, they were being the blacks were being knocked out of their apartments and replaced. Well, I'm going to tell you that that mayor there, you know, Chicago was so famous for election fraud, you know, you wonder how that guy actually got elected. And again, it's like Stalin said, it's not who votes the council who counts the votes. And that's what that matters.
And I think that's what you got in Chicago. We suffered, Pastor, as a black people, the identity politics. And even in this recent election, you could see where they brought Kamala into a number of churches. And she would, you know, maybe perhaps try to quote a few scriptures and try to sway the people to believe that she's godly.
And it's like, no, you're not. You're the furthest thing from actually standing on the word of God. But I've been a part of those churches in the past where they would bring in those Democratic leaders and they would, again, identity politics. And so, again, I'm just I thank God for the awakening, because now I'm not going to side with color. I'm going to side with righteousness. Amen.
Amen. Those are the Book of Ecclesiastes. Remember that? Oh, what did she call it? She didn't call it Ecclesiastes.
She didn't pronounce it right. I remember that. Yeah.
Yeah. Well, you know, that's just absolutely amazing that that church that she was supposed to be a Baptist church. Let me tell you, that was that she went to this an apostate as a day. That guy was a pastor from hell. And today you have this with so many of the World International Council of Churches. These are actually satanic churches.
They're actually satanic. And so here. And Kamala, she. Now, here's how wicked that woman was. She said the very first thing she did, the campaign she stopped that she made when she started her run for president. She went to an abortion mill. She wanted. Right. She wanted to experience an abortion being done.
She wanted to. That is wicked. That is one wicked woman boy. Yeah. Pastor Moss, what are those? You're trying to get some of these. They're not called boxes.
No, no. We are organizations working around. Drop boxes, drop by Ohio. Yeah. We call them safe haven baby boxes.
And they can. A young lady don't want the baby, keep the baby. She'd be at a fire station in your city. You can go put the baby in. And that that box has a heat or it has air conditioning. And once the baby's placed in there, immediately a signal goes to the fire department and they'll come rushing to get that baby and take the baby to the hospital.
For every baby that's eligible for adoption, there are 34 couples, 34 couples that are out to adopt that baby. Well, you don't hear that on the news, do you? No. And even some of these adoption agencies, unbelievable how they are in it for the money.

And here, you know, it's again, I think that there's got to be a way that we can try to get the message across to people. When God's word, the Bible actually teaches about the sin of abortion, because it's like, you know, the way they talk about it. And you have these women now that have come and celebrate your abortion.
Have you heard about that? Pastor Ernie, they make like a it's like a religious ritual with these people. They make a like a religion. Well, it is. It's like paganism. Right. Their hearts are like pagans and it's sacrificing to Moloch.
And they make. So in my mind, it's like a a sacrament of a religion to kill your baby. Yes, that is right, brother.
You know, living human being. Yes. It's not a blob of abortion is killing a human being. Let me read you with murder. Murder.
Yes. Here's here's what God's word. The Bible said about those that offer up their children to Moloch.
Well, we we are. They're offering them up to Mammon today. It's about Mammon.
But here's what he said. And the Lord's speaking to Moses saying again, those who say to the children of Israel, whosoever he be of the children of Israel or of strangers that sojourn in Israel, they giveth any of his seed into Moloch. In other words, offer up their children like we're doing here. He shall surely be put to death. And the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
And I will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he hath given of his seed to Moloch to defile my sanctuary and my profane and profane my holy name. You understand, when you have an abortion, that's exactly what you do. You defile God's and you profane his holy name. Now listen to this, because this is how many times have you heard people say, well, personally, I would never have an abortion.
But I'm not going to judge those that do, right? Here's what God says. And if the people of the land do in any way hide their eyes from the man when he giveth him a seed to Moloch and kill him not, then I will set my face against that man, against his people, and I will cut them off, and of all who go whoring after him to commit horror with Moloch from among their people.
Do you understand? He's saying if you know about it and you don't do something, and if you don't punish that man who's killed his children, and this is where some of the people that we've had here calling on the radio program, who have gone out to these abortion mills and shot these bloody abortionists, and they do it because they've read this here. But folks, again, God calls this the transgression of his dominion. It's a very serious sin. You can be forgiven. There's got to be repentance, but there will always be consequences.
Always going to be a consequence of sin. And the good news is you have these safe haven baby boxes to put the baby in if you're in a tough position financially, or whatever the reason is you want to get the abortion. You don't have to kill the baby.
No, you put the baby up for adoption. And how is the progress with the funding for setting goals here in Ohio? Well, it's better.
The state legislature just passed a couple of bills, and so it's getting better with the adoption services. Because I believe Brother Pastor Ernie, God's going to bring us to a place where people have no more excuses. Right. Amen. Well, see, this is where we have to make that distinction. These women as saints to celebrate your abortion. I heard one saying that she gets pregnant just to abort the baby so she can do that. OK, that's evil. That's evil.
Others actually carry the babies to full term and then sell them to like the University of Pittsburgh, where they take these babies and experiment on them. OK, it's evil. You know, it's wicked.
I mean, just pure evil and pure wicked. You know, Pastor, you mentioned about what will it take to get the eyes of the people open to see this. And I think that's one of the things we have to thank God for with the administration that's coming in and why we need to pray. Because one of the things that they're going after are those censored platforms, you know, where they were censoring the information, the truth from getting out. And that hurt a lot of people. But this, I believe, provides an opportunity as we see the hand of God opening this door that on various platforms we can we can get this truth out. We can get it.
It is. And now, too, we have to because they have turned one of them. Christopher Raze, one of the five major crimes that he's committed, was sending his agents into the homes of pro-lifers, kicking in their doors, you know, in the middle of the night and raiding terrorist raids, terrorist raids on the homes of pro-lifers.
Right now, you've got a number of pro-lifers. One of them was a good friend of mine. He just got 11 years. He got sentenced to 11 years of prison for doing what I did for for 50 years out there on the streets, you know.
Well, actually, 45 years I was out there on a regular basis preaching in front of those bloody abortion mills. John and and right now they've got they just arrested a 76 year old grandma and they gave her, I think, 10 years. And for John for doing exactly what you and I've been doing. Well, hopefully this will be reversed come President Trump taking office and those criminals then will be subject to investigations for what they've done. Well, we have got to make sure, listen, if they don't if they don't get punished for what they don't if they don't if justice is not served.
If you turn your face, like we like I just read and look the other way, you have a blind eye to it. We have to make sure that these people that have committed these crimes, they do serve their time. They get their time.
Yeah, they're wicked, wicked people. You know, Kamalik, I heard I heard Kamalik. She was actually boasting about how many young black men she sent to prison for doing doing drugs. And then she was asked, have you ever smoked it?
We're selling marijuana. And she she left and she just left. Yeah, well, basically what she said, yeah, but, you know, see, she said, I have a pen in my pen. There's power in this pen. That is that is wickedness.
Absolute wickedness. The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And I believe, you know, with that, these people have neither fear of God nor wisdom, but they don't understand that the word of God says that hell hath enlarged itself. And they need to understand the penalty of what's coming if they don't repent.
Because the Lord, even when he was dealing with Judas and those that were betrayed, he said he said to him, he said, you know what, it would be better if he weren't born. So they don't understand that it's not just about what's happening on this side. What's going to happen to these people on the other side? We can't even we can't even fathom it. But for Jesus to make that statement, it would be better if you weren't born.
That torment on the other side is it's just unthinkable. Well, you know, if you take a look at to Hosea four sixes, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, not because they didn't receive it. They they rejected God's knowledge.
He provided them. But he said, because you have rejected my laws, rejected me, I will reject you and your children. They don't realize, you know, because you keep hearing people say, well, judgment will come judgment. They don't realize it's here. If you if you take a look at, I think, what was it, over half of the children in this country today, young children have diabetes. If you take a look at what's happening, look, we've lost one hundred thousand people just from fentanyl. You've got three hundred thousand of our children today. Three hundred thousand children we can't find. We don't know. They don't know where they're at.
Of course, they do know where they're at. But so the corruption is God's judgment has come down. You know, we were laughing about and wasn't really laughing here. You know, we're in Isaiah Chapter 14 or Chapter seven, verse 14, where they were talking about a virgin show. They're conceived in all the liberal theologians were saying, well, that that doesn't mean a virgin. That just means.
An unmarried woman, a young unmarried woman or a young married woman, whether a young married woman. But you see, the whole point of it was when God says, I will show you a sign. Let me tell you, would it be a sign today if we have young unmarried women conceiving?
Would it be a sign? I mean, look, probably as many of the women that are conceived today aren't married as the ones that are. Right. OK. And that's the way we're living in such a society today. But, you know, John, you know, Walter, you know, yes, where judgment begins, where in the House of God. OK. And in that house, it's it starts in the pulpit. Yeah. And so, folks, this is where.
It's up to the pastors, the pastors know if they're in a church and the pastor is not bold, if the pastor will not preach against the sin, the sins of abortion. OK, if, you know, I had and I know I mentioned this many times. Danny in Michigan pledges one hundred. Thank you, Danny.

In 50 years, we didn't have one boring day. And there's some stories. God has put me in a lot of positions. For example, he put me where I was a Secret Service agent for a day. How could this happen?
It happened. He put me out there where he had the the Dixie mob, the Clintons, where they were outside my room all night long with shotguns and ball paths, trying to run me out of Arkansas. We had I have a lot of where I've had to I've had conflicts with Satanists where I've had face to face showdowns with a number of things. So all of these things over the years, we had an apostate preacher one time and apostate may come up behind me and put a gun on my back and tell me that he's tired of your I'm tired of hearing you preaching. I'm tired of your preaching against abortion and I'm going to stop it right today. And he kept talking. I'm going to blow a hole in you. I'm going to blow a hole right through you. And I told him, I said, if you're going to shoot me, shoot me, talk to me to death.
Too painful. That's what he was doing. And so but what happened? But God provided the security guard of that that abortion mill had I had led him to the Lord just two weeks prior. And he had watched that.
He took he got he snuck around behind and got the drop on this guy. But then these stories and more of them, you know, and then we have some that's some real funny stories in there, too. I mean, but these are all true, you know. And so, in fact, one is the talking trees. That's a that's a really good one. We had John, you remember some of these, don't you? No, those ones that I mean, I remember you telling me the big one that I remember, Pastor Ernie. And you have mentioned this is when we went to that abortion center there and we found all the pornography and we found.
You remember that, Pastor Ernie? Oh, the one there in Toledo, Toledo. Yeah. Yeah.
And Toledo. Yeah. That's one of the big things that I remember.
Yeah. If you remember this, you ought to see that Phyllis that it was taken over by eminent domain to build a baseball stadium. But that was a large building. And we get there. I was asked to come down and speak to the three stories was three stories high.
Yeah. But we went in there and this thing was very long and they had table after they had these eight foot tables like we have there at the church. One after the other, after the other, after the other.
And you want to see what was on each one of them. They had these women that worked at this abortion mill were all witches. They were all witches. They had the candles that they would burn the yellow and the orange. And then they had they were they were having their casting their spells. Then they had some of the the herbs, the herbs out there. And then they had put lesbian pornography. They had lesbian.
Every station was the same. And then they had you remember what else they had, John? They had the NIV Bible. Yeah. Right. Right.
Unbelievable. I remember all that. That was their Bible.

Go ahead, John. We found out how corrupt the police department was, remember, as we went in there. There was pictures of them with the police was on the wall. They had the pictures of the police with them.
Well, what? Remember what happened when those pro-life ladies went in? They went into the abortion mill to try to witness to talk those witches into repentance and the witches. Now, this is this is true, folks.
I'm not kidding you. Remember what they said? The witches beat them with brooms. And I wondered if these witches were riding those brooms, but they beat these these pro-life ladies. They called the police.
The police came down and helped the witches. Wow. And then remember what happened. So so we're out there. We got a big platform up there. So I get up to speak and to my right to my right.
There's, you know, it's it's like we're down one level. There's two police cars there. Right in front of them, probably maybe 100 feet away from where we were, maybe maybe 150 feet away. There was a remember that apostate church right across the street from the abortion mill.
Yeah, it was it was across the street and a little to the right was the church. And then to our left, it was raised up like a little level higher level. You had the media all there. And here's what happened.
We get up there. And these ladies asked me there, Pastor Sanders, because we had a loudspeaker out there. Could you tell us how can we get our police to obey the law and not be involved and take money from the abortion mill? And the cops were sitting there was two carloads of them. I said, see, you're assuming and presuming that these are actual police officers that have some honor, some integrity and some decency.
These are not these. These are the guys that are taking bribes. These are whores in uniform.
So take a look at that. Those those are whores there. And I thought, well, here we go. But they took off, didn't they, John? Yes, they did this journey. I can still see those squad cars going down the block. Yeah, they did.
Those works were wiped off their face and they were gone. Then they asked me, can you tell us? Remember what they said? Can you tell us how an abortion mill can exist in a shadow of a church? I said, you're assuming and presuming that that's a Christian church. I said, that's an apostate church.
OK, you can tell by what's what's on its marquee. And then they asked me, how can you tell us how we can get the media, the local media here to tell the truth? I said, there you go again, assuming and presuming they want to tell the truth.
I said, those are not those are media whores. That's what they are. And then they took right off, didn't they? Yeah, you cleared them out this morning.
Yeah. And anyhow, boy, that didn't take long. John, have you told the audience about your court victories?
I guess I did, you know, through the years. But what happened was I was living in Pennsylvania at that time and I was pro-life leader there in central Pennsylvania. And we were in York.
Now, York is both the county and the city. And both the county and the city were completely owned by Planned Parenthood. The judges. One judge was honest. And he told us, he said, you'll never get a fair trial here because the Planned Parenthood owns all the judges. The mayor, the chief of police would be there, the children and youth, the district attorney, the county attorney.
And so they had a free rein to kind of run rough over us. But Pastor Ernie, you were backing us up all the way in Ohio and you called like you wanted. You called the district attorney to find out why he was doing this. And you called like the mayor's office. Isn't that correct, Pastor Ernie? Yeah. You know, you're amazed.
You call him, you say, look, all I want to do is hear your side of what's going on. Here's what was said. These people panic.
They panic. Hang tight. We'll be back right after this.
We thought he solved our problem, but our life's a living hell. I toss and turn in bed at night. God, it's hard to sleep in my heart and in my mind, I hear a voice that says. You could have took me fishing day. You could have taught me how to swim. I could have made you proud of me. Now I'll never have that chance. I could have been your little boy standing right there by your side.
Could have been your Friday joy. I never thought of it as right or wrong. But I think about it now. Oh, God, I'd give my life if I could just turn back somehow. I'd let him live and watch him grow. I'd buy him everything. But now he won't need a ball or bat.
He'll never play one game. You could have been my hero, dad. You could have done what daddies do. You could have rode me on your back.
You could have taught me to tie my shoes. I could have grown into a man. I should have had my chance of life. We could have been the best of friends. Daddy, did I have to die?
God, the choice of life belongs to you. It wasn't hers or mine. And I know she feels the same way, too.
Sometimes I hear her cry. How can we ever be the same or live with what was done? Instead of these two broken hearts, God, we might have had a son. You could have been my hero, dad. You could have done what daddies do. You could have rode me on your back. You could have taught me to tie my shoes. I could have been your little boy standing right there by your side. I could have been your pride and joy. Daddy, did I have to die?

Thank you. John, you know, there's things happening and where you've been preaching, where did you preach just recently? Tell us about it because you had a lot of Muslims there come to the Lord. Yeah, it was in Uganda, Pastor Ernie.
And it was incredible. We had three, four hundred come to the Lord. There were many, many Muslims.
There was many, many refugees from South Sudan that were in there. And they were crying, Pastor Ernie. The Muslims were crying. They were prayed over. Their hearts were healed.
They were set free. It was incredible. I'm going to get video of it shortly on it.
And then when I get it, I'll send it to you. You can see it, Pastor. It's amazing.

Not yet. There is some videos there of other events I've had there. Pastor Ernie, I just wanted to finish about what had happened in York.
It's an amazing story. York, the abortion Planned Parenthood Center in York City was a center for underage. They bring underage children there to abort them because they were protected by the city and by the county. And we could see them. And we were taking pictures of the kids and the people escorting them in, the vehicles. The police were right there. They wouldn't do anything. We went to the Chief of Police. He wouldn't do anything. We went to the District Attorney. They would do nothing. We went to the Attorney General of the State of Pennsylvania. We had the pictures and everything.
They wouldn't do anything. So we went to the county commissioners and we brought it out in the open. And it really got ugly once we brought it out in the open. And that's, I think, Pastor Ernie, when you call the District Attorney there.
I'll never forget it. Stanley Rebert was his name. That man hated me.
He would look at me and it was like, I could feel his hands around my neck. But anyways, we went to court. And what really triggered it was a car tried to run me over at the abortion center. And the police were right there.
They looked right at it and they wouldn't arrest the guy that tried to run me over. So we ended up, a law firm picked this whole thing up. They became aware of it. It was kind of a stir in central Pennsylvania. I was on the local radio there.
I was explaining about the underage children going in there. So we took it to court, the federal court. And the judge was a Planned Parenthood judge, Judge Jones.
I mean, he was pure Planned Parenthood. He ruled against me, but we appealed it to the federal court of appeals. And we won big time in the federal court of appeals on religious rights. We won it and it was like very rare to win on religious rights.
And the city of York wanted to settle right away with me. They didn't want to go to trial. So we settled out of trial. But the decision by the court of appeals became law in like Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and some other states. So today it's law in those states. It was a huge pro-life victory.
So this is what I'm going to tell you is unbelievable, but it's true. My daughter decides to go to law school. The very first day, the very first class, the very- it was constitutional law.
The very first case was McTernan versus the city of York. That is amazing. She calls me up. She calls me up. She says, Dad, you're not going to believe this.
You're not going to believe this. That case of yours in York? I said, yeah. Yeah. What about it? She says, it's huge. She said that they're teaching it in all the law schools.
It's McTernan versus the city of York. Wow, that's amazing. That is absolutely amazing.
Yeah, I remember. At any time, Pastor Ernie, I wanted to add to this. At any time, if we had given up there, they would have run us out and the law would have- this would not have become law.
We must persist. We must pray and have the Lord- to trust the Lord he has our back because we were able to close that abortion center. Now, unfortunately, they reopened it, but it was closed for many years. And the sad part is they took the children, these underage children, and they would take them to Maryland.
And there was an abortion center in Maryland where they were free to abort the underage girls. Well, you know, there's a lot of things happening right now with all these young people and all these young girls they're using for sex trafficking. And here, with Trump getting back in, we're going to have this Holman, this fellow, he said he is going to get to the bottom with all of this child sex trafficking. And I believe he'll do it. This is a guy- we've got to support him.
Absolutely, Pastor Ernie. All those- there's like 350,000 unaccounted for children that the federal government lets them loose here in America. He said they're going to track down every one of them. The federal government is the world's largest purveyor of sex trafficking. It is. Absolutely, they are. They are beyond wicked. They are.
Absolutely. And so, but you know, we again, if people only realize if they just wish to stand up and fight, you know, so many of them are too afraid. They're too afraid. And that's what happens.
And again, we go back to where you folks out there listening to me. The Bible said the righteous are as bold as lines. And if you're in a church and that pastor is not bold, if that pastor will not stand, and if he will not speak out against tyranny, what is taking place, you need to leave there.
You need to find one where you're going to have- and I have- I've heard people complaining to me, Oh, my pastor, I just wish he's a good man. I just wish he had some courage, you know. Listen, here's the message.
I've talked to him and I've tried to get him to be bold. Listen, your message is this. You hear what I'm saying with my mouth, but my actions, I stay here, I keep coming back, I keep tithing here. So that's what you're telling them.
You're saying one thing with your mouth and the other. Look, folks, this- your faith in God is not something you can do halfway. You're either- you should be all in, right? I mean, you got to be all in.
That's right. It's, you know, God held back nothing. The Lord Jesus, when he took your place upon that cross and died a substitutionary death, he held back nothing. We are to hold back nothing. You have to be all in in this fight.
We got to give a hundred percent, don't we? Yes, sir. Amen.

888-677-9673. John, would you tell us, too, a little bit more about some of the- we had, I remember it was a while back, you had- you were preaching at a place they had, I believe it was like 11 imans came, and they converted to Christianity? Yeah, that was in Nairobi, Kenya.
In Nairobi, Kenya. I found- I find that the Muslims are very open, and the key to this is preaching Luke 4 18. Preaching the Gospel, but also the resurrection power, because so many people have broken hearts, and it's the resurrection power of Jesus Christ that heals those broken hearts.
Amen. Luke 4 18, the salvation message, and then Christ came to heal the broken hearted, preach the liberance to the captives, and set a liberty to them that are oppressed of the devil. And then the imams, they have broken hearts, and they're under conviction of sin, you know, just like people. And it's amazing to see, in particularly Kenya, the number of Muslims and imams that come to Christ. Praise God.
Praise the good Lord. So John, what are the major talking points? Say if you come across someone in just a general conversation, they say they're a Muslim, what are the key points to try to win them to Christ?
Well, the assurance of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, that, you know, there's a penalty for sin that has to be paid for. Besides the- so I just actually met one months ago that said, well, we worship the same God. I'm like, well, sir, that's not true. And then I shared with them the biblical gospel, but as far as the key differences. They only say that, like, in America, but they don't say that in Saudi Arabia and the other places that we worship the same God. Our God is the triune God, and God has an only begotten son. And the Quran is very clear, very clear that God does not have a son. In fact, the Quran says, Cease and desist, saying three in one.
So they're not being truthful with you when they say that. Alrighty, those numbers are, folks, we only have 15 minutes left tonight. 888-281. We have one week out of the month where we have a pledge week where we raise enough money to stay on all of the stations for the rest of the month. And you know, God has been moving here. We've seen what they called the left wing media out there. They call it the mainstream. Their credibility is dropping so quickly. They're losing it so fast, folks. And again, we're living in the times that God's Word, the Bible tells us about. And I think we're going to see maybe, John, maybe a small period of revival before we get into the tribulation period. And so, yeah.
You know, the time could be short, but the impact could be incredible. You know what I mean? That's good. That's good.
Absolutely. So there could be multitudes coming to the Lord in a very short period of time. Well, why don't you tell the folks out there listening to us, because every night we have new listeners all over the country. People are driving out right now. They're driving around in their cars.
It's almost midnight here, but it's only like 9 o'clock in some of the places where we're at, the stations we're on. So tell the folks how they can get a free pass out of the lake of fire and how they can get to heaven. Well, Pastor Ernie, the old fashioned gospel has never changed.
It's exactly like today as it was back in Paul's day. And Paul tells us what the gospel of salvation is in 1 Corinthians 15. He said, the gospel of salvation is believing that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures. He was buried, and he rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures.
That's the gospel. And it's very simple, and with going along with the gospel, as Paul has laid it out, John 3.16 says, For God so loved the world, that's everybody under the sound of my voice, that he gave, and here's the proof of his love, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever, and that's everyone hearing me, whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. So believing in the Lord means that you believe he died for your sins, according to the Scriptures. He was buried, and he rose from the dead.
On the third day, he rose from the dead, again, according to the Scriptures. That's God's love, because there's a penalty for sin. The Bible says the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. There's a penalty for sin because God is holy, and holy means he's without sin.
Sin cannot be in his presence. There's a penalty for it, and man is in rebellion against God. And Pastor Ernie, it's pretty easy to see this rebellion today, isn't it? Rebellion against God. I mean, we've codified sin, and a political party has codified sin, Pastor Ernie.
So this is serious. What America is doing as a nation and as individuals is serious before God. The Bible says God is also loved. And even though we're in rebellion against him, and we are, as a nation, promoting the very sins that God says he'll judge a nation for, and people are committing these sins, if you are willing to repent. Repent means, it's like a military term, about face. You're going one way, living a life of sin without Jesus Christ.
You do it about face, and go the other way with a life now following Jesus Christ and his word. That's what repentance is. When just before Jesus ascended into heaven, he told his disciples to preach that repentance and remission of sin, remission of sin means to do away with the penalty for sin, should be preached in my name among all nations beginning in Jerusalem.
That was his commandment, and that commandment is still there today. Repentance and remission of sin through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. So if you realize that you are a sinner and need the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, and will confess with your mouth that he is your Lord and Savior, God will forgive you folks. No matter what your past is, no matter what you've done, God will forgive you.
That's unconditioned. Forgiveness is for everything, folks. And then believe that he died for your sins on the cross, shed his blood, and that he bodily arose from the dead, God will forgive you of sin, and you will have eternal life.
In fact, in 2 Corinthians 5, verse 21, it says God put his sin on Jesus Christ and gave us his righteousness, and that's why we can have eternal life and we can be before God, because we have the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Now, there are so many people, and probably many listening to our voices today, that are severely depressed. They are very fearful. They are very lonely. I'm reading psychological studies that show huge numbers of Americans are very fearful, very lonely, very depressed.
They're full of mourning and sorrow and grief. The resurrection, the Bible says when we believe in Jesus Christ, we can walk in the newness of life. That newness of life is his resurrection power flowing through us, and all that resurrection power will heal broken hearts. It'll free our mind from bondage.
It'll free us from being oppressed of the evil ones. One minute, John. So if you confess Christ right now, and confess him, and I'll pray for the resurrection power to come into your life and free you from the fear, the bondage. Lord, with all our listeners, anyone that's contemplating suicide, Lord, is so depressed, we break that in Jesus' name and ask that you fill them, fill them with the resurrection power of Christ, and fill them full of your joy, your peace, your hope, and fill them, free them from fear, free them from loneliness, that they may have fellowship with your spirit, Lord. And these things I ask in Christ's marvelous, matchless, wonderful name. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Amen. He's the good Lord. We have a very quick prayer request for a man named Alan, and he was just asked to be made whole. So I just want to say, Heavenly Father, Lord God, I know we don't have much time.
