Donate and listen to the podcast at WRWL.org. All right, we're back and Joe, I was going to give an update on the 2024 elections to stop bogus ballots. But before we do that, let's take a listen to what's happening out there in Oregon.
Go ahead. Former Speaker of the House and Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich. Mr. Speaker, always a pleasure. Thanks for being here.
Good to be with you. I want to get your take on what really changed after that debate and whether or not you believe the GOP has done enough to ensure a fair and safe election in November. Well, look, I think something like the safe act ought to be passed. I think it should tell people a lot that one hundred and ninety eight House Democrats voted no on blocking illegal immigrants from voting in federal elections. So in that sense, I do worry when you read about places like Springfield, which has twenty thousand immigrants in a town of about sixty or seventy thousand. You have to say, but what is the possibility that some of them are going to vote? If you look at a place like Minnesota, where Governor Walz made it possible for illegal immigrants to get a driver's license, to get Medicaid and to get paid funding at the university. You have to wonder how many of those with driver's licenses might happen to show up at the polls. So I do think there's a legitimate concern about illegal immigrants voting. And I do think something like the safe act, continuing pressure and communicating with people that it is illegal to vote if you're not an American citizen.
Well, what's your reaction to the debate we just had with representatives Brian Stile and Corey Mills? Well, my advice would be to cut the continuing resolution into two parts. I think we should get in a habit that national security budget is passed once a year for the entire year because we're helping the Chinese communists. And when we pass these C.R.s, we screw up the Pentagon substantially.
We make it more expensive, less effective, almost impossible to have long term development of programs. Secretary Austin has been very clear about this. And while I often disagree with him, I think his statement on the importance of annual funding is exactly right. And everybody who says that they're worried about China ought to vote to have two separate bills. Let's fight over domestic spending all we want to. But national security spending should be in a single bill and should be passed once a year for the entire year. I mean, that's my view. And that's my advice to John, Speaker Johnson. Especially since China is on the march, the communist China has been investing in its military and so much so that their Navy is larger than the U.S. Navy.
Right. And right now, frankly, the congressional process in both parties makes it harder for us to compete with China, which is a truly self-destructive and stupid position. Mr. Speaker, give us your assessment of the landscape right now, 51 days before Election Day. What changed after that debate last week? Well, first of all, I thought the ABC News, Kamala Harris tag team did a pretty decent job.
It was three on one. I think she probably did well on style. She did terribly on substance. And every poll shows that even CNN showed that President Trump was stronger on the economy after the debate than before the debate. And I think in that sense, she did not gain any ground.
She probably lost ground. And this race is coming down, I think, to a very simple set of questions. Were you better off under Trump than you are under Biden? Do you believe that Harris is capable of being commander in chief? Do you think that her values are too radical?
And when you meet Tim Walz, who was legitimately called tampon Tim because he's really so far to the left, he's almost wacko. And picking him seemed to me pushed her even further away from normal Americans. So this is Trump's, I think, to win.
I think he has a real chance to win it. He came out of the debate stronger than when he went in. And it was ironic. I've written several columns now about the fact that the elites don't get it. Trump was winning.
They like Kamala's style. The American people like Trump's substance. And substance beats style when you're picking a president. Mr. Speaker, before you go, how serious is this issue of communist China buying U.S. politicians?
I mean, over and over again, we're seeing stories. Diane Feinstein, Eric Swalwell, governor of New York, with aides that are tied to the Communist Party of China. It is an extraordinarily serious problem. At its peak, the Soviet Union had 500 agents of influence in the United States, including one who was as high as undersecretary of state.
These are real problems. You have to have a very aggressive counterintelligence program. And you have to recognize that China is trying to defeat the United States. Alrighty, we're back. He left off, Joe, one of the biggest ones, and that's Governor Newsom of California.
I mean, he is bought and paid for by the Chinese. Yeah, exactly. There are many. If I can, there are a couple of things on that FEMA.
Yeah, go ahead. Folks don't realize that FEMA, these grants must be used before a certain time period. And they say the money can't be used to help victims of hurricanes from this summer because they're supposed to be this.
They have a report out there. FEMA's inadequate oversight led to delays in closing out declared disasters. So it's money they promised to spend. And if you go back and look here, they've got billions and billions of dollars. And, for example, the Hurricane Sandy money was supposed to be used by 2016, but FEMA extended the deadline to 2026. There's still $4.5 billion for Sandy as of 2023 was left unspent.
We don't know what's left this year, but they couldn't find where they spent any of that money on Sandy either. So we know in the government, anytime something's put off, the auditors have all said the risk for fraud, waste, abuse increases, right? So even when these extensions aren't granted, FEMA doesn't enforce its own deadlines. There was about almost $10 million for grants with deadlines 12 months ago. FEMA, you know, OK, here we go.
So we've had a lot of storms, a lot of things going on. And it said the disaster relief fund ran out of money this August. So FEMA, what did it do? It paused 650 projects that were not deemed essential for life saving.
But guess what? The same thing happened last year, 2023, and several other times prior. In other words, three times, four times since Obama's become president, FEMA has just dropped other projects that they were supposed to fund that were voted and set up to be funded. So why are we obligating billions of dollars to help if the money is going to sit there for years and years and years in a bank account and they keep nibbling away? There's more fraud and waste and abuse the longer that money sits there. Sandy was how long ago it was supposed to be spent? 2016. And they bumped it up to 2026.
Yeah, to September 2026. Billions of dollars sitting there. And they say they can't find money for projects. You talk about a messed up government. This is inefficiency, corruption, waste, fraud and abuse.
I mean, the whole package passed Ernie. This whole administration needs to be taken out. If this is how they run a government, this country is not going to be able to survive another four years of this kind of mismanagement. What they're doing is they're letting people just make a fortune off of our taxpayer money and it's going to the people that they want to fund that are backing them. I know what it is, right? Yep, exactly.
Alrighty. Must read. Update on 2024 elections. Stopbogusballots.com funds 2 million, Joe, 2 million, 848, 288 likely fraudulent voters in six swing states. And it's got them all listed tonight at the Tea Party. Yeah. And so Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. Oh, they're kind of important states, in other words.
Yep. And so these are voters who moved out of state, those who stayed in the state but moved out of the county. Voters who moved and left no forwarding addresses, voters registered at invalid addresses, voters registered at commercial sites, and voters registered with missing or wrong apartment numbers. I remember they had, in 2020, they had 900 people whose addresses were in one house.
900, you know, in one house. They just used it. We've seen this stuff before, right? Same address for all kinds of people voting.
Yep. And so one good thing about the, you know, Stopbogus Ballots, these people are looking into it. They're going after them. Sooner or later, you know, they're going to start more and more and they're going to get caught, okay?
And here, they've got all the charts. They actually showed you, they documented how many places, and the GOP should have been doing a lot more to force these states to follow the law, but they didn't. The Trump campaign has done very little to consider to counter this, and the state Republican parties seem to be asleep at the wheel. They're afraid. I don't know what it is. Too many rhinos.
I think the thing is the state parties are just too many rhinos, and there's a few people who are willing to step out, but not enough to make something happen. Do you remember back years ago, there was that stupid song, it was called The Song That Never Ends? It goes on and on, my friends.
You need to take that song. It never ends, right? It goes on and on, my friends. It never ends, right?
Yeah. It never ends. It never ends. And the fools that keep, I mean, how many years has this been going on in politics? The fraud, the waste, the abuse, and the American people keep sending their money to Washington, keep electing these stupid fools to office, keep putting in these rhinos, these communist socialists. They keep getting elected. I mean, in a sense that the nation's that dumb. I almost feel sometimes like the nation deserves these people because they keep voting for them. They must want this kind of torment.
They must want to lose their freedom, be controlled, lose their money. Well, you know, Joe, they're running a commercial there, the Communist Party, the Democrats, the Harris false campaign. Women died because of Harris-backed policy. Actually, what happened, they're saying that Trump wants to outlaw baby killing, which he should, but he's never said that. But they run those commercials saying that because a woman was denied the chance to kill her baby there in Georgia, not because of Georgia heartbeat law. They said that was the reason it was the heartbeat law. No. That was a huge, ginormous law. She took the kill pill and it didn't go well for her, did it?
No. She took the kill pill and it killed her. People have to think, well, look, forget what God says. I know what I believe, so forget what God says. We're trying to, we tell you, folks, reality is, I don't care. Well, this is 2024.
I don't care. God doesn't change in 2024. Do you understand? Somehow they have this mindset that you have to, we're living in other days, things like marriage and decency and honor and integrity, these things are all outdated.
Fidelity is something of the past. You know, God's got to be wrong, then he's wrong, right? If enough people say so.
Right. If it doesn't go along with what I want to believe in here. And we try to tell people about the issue one, the last election, about issue one. We kept trying to tell people, you don't understand what they're doing.
You don't, you see. And because people did not pay attention, and I know some people that, oh, I know what I believe here, and they fell for it. Now they're saying, I wish I had figured that out. Because, see, what they did by passing that, it changed the Constitution, and Ohio had amended it, and it totally eliminated, Joe, every piece of pro-life legislation that we had worked for 50 years was gone in one day because of that, because the people didn't listen, Joe. Now we got another issue one.
But this issue one is that commercial, they're running a bogus commercial being told by professional liars, by professional liars, Lord Joe. And here is an issue one, this time redistricting amendment. It's going to stretch the Democrat districts way out into areas, you know, like right now you have them all into the cities and that. See, they're bringing in a lot of people into these areas where they go by, you know, the congressional district doesn't go by registered voters, it just goes by how many people are there. And so they bring in 20,000 illegal aliens. And all of a sudden you've got more people there. That's right. Okay. I can count. So if you take a community like there in Ohio with 60,000 people and you drop in another 20,000 Haitians, oh, that kind of changes the entire dynamics, right?
Absolutely. That's a whole one-fourth of the entire population has been transformed within a very short period of time. And so you have these, a bunch of whole corrupt lawyers from out of state, Eric Holder is the guy that's behind this thing that started this, they're going to different states. And so this issue one here, they've got it worded to what they're promoting, it's exactly the opposite. Just like, remember what Saul Alinsky said, he did exactly what Karl Marx said. Saul Alinsky, if you remember, he said rules and rules for radicals.
Rules for radicals. Accuse your opponent of what you are doing to create confusion and to inculcate voters against evidence of your own guilt. You know, he said that because with us there's right and wrong.
Called transference, there's even a name for it. And so to us, but you see, to Democrats, there's no right, no wrong. Well, the end justifies the means. That's the Communist motto, the end justifies the means. In other words, winning is the only thing. It doesn't matter what you have to do to win, what you have to do to gain control, winning is all. In other words, gaining political control is everything, everything else is secondary to that goal. Right, so with this issue one, it just removes the citizens' oversight.
It takes right out of the control away from the citizens and hands it to these out-of-state bureaucrats with all the millions of dollars that they're pumping in Ohio. And so, folks, you've got to do this. You've got to tell everyone you know to vote no on issue one.
They're pumping millions of dollars in here because they can profit from it, the Communist Party. So you've got to do this, you've got to vote no on issue one. You've got to vote no on issue one. And you said something very profound, and this happens all over the country. No matter what state you live in, when there's a moral issue on the ballot, it's always the out-of-state money coming in that usually confuses and creates a win because ten times the money will come in from out-of-state and the people trying to save the morals and principles and values of the state constitutions.
It's always that out-of-state money that helps win the day for the left. And we see this over and over and over again. You and I have been talking about it for so many years.
It hurts, and yet somehow when it happens again, nobody seems to notice. You didn't hear any of the news talking about all this outside money coming into Ohio. That should be the big news of the day. They're buying another election win, another victory, and changing your rules in your state or North Dakota, Texas, wherever it's at.
It's the same story. They do the same game, play the same maneuver, political game, over and over and over and over again, and our sites are darn dumb. We just don't catch on.
I don't get it. Yeah, but we do. We keep telling people, yeah, but do you see what they're doing now? Do you see what they're doing now?
Remember eight years of Obama, every day we told him, do you see what he's doing now? It seemed like it was every night. But the news media out there, we're outnumbered. That's the problem. We are so outnumbered.
More liars than truth tellers, and people tend to want to listen to the liars. I don't know, maybe they're more interesting or more exciting. I don't know. Better looking, who knows?
Well, couldn't possibly be better looking. Well, you and I have the face for radio we couldn't lose, right? Yeah. Listen, what I wanted to say, I wanted to tell folks about that, we really do need to let the people know how close we came to losing three stations.
We came within a razor's edge, I mean, just from having to get off. Right now, what is taking place, you know, the folks at Salem say, look, our radio program is very important. It's got to be on until at least after the election.
We can't, you know, we can't afford to, we've got to use everything we can to win this election. And so, we're actually in the process of actually renegotiating some of the prices, and I'm waiting to hear back on some of these stations so that we can stay on the stations. And maybe possibly even renegotiate the prices to go on those ones that we, those six big stations we went off of. But anyhow, so folks out there, we just wanted you to know, by God's grace, by God's grace, and we've been here for, well, after January, it'd be 51 years. And so, anyhow, I thought we'd let the folks know that. Here's, let's do this, Joe, let's open the phone lines, take some calls.

That would have been Joyless Blowheart. She's the... I thought it was Sunny Hostin or whatever her name was. I don't know, I didn't see it, but I'm just saying that because she's usually the head hen over there. Sunny Hostin is the one that asked that question this time.

Good evening gentlemen. I just want to say thank God you got Pastor Joe on. He's such an awesome, informed guy and I want to say thank God to our Lord Jesus and to you guys for bringing you back strong again. Pastor Joe assured all of us that you were fine and he's a man of faith and you got a good crew with you as always. But Pastor, I wanted to bring this up to you guys from Dallas as you guys probably know. We had a pretty bad deal happen here a couple of days ago in the richer part of Dallas which is called North Dallas, closer to Highland Park, University Park where the elite live. And a third of the Venezuelan's attacked a woman coming home.
I heard about that, yeah. Yes sir, they tied her up when she was pointing to her garage at her home. Tied her up, robbed her house, threatened to cut her fingers off. And two weeks prior to that, right up the street, probably about 12 miles in Grapevine, Texas, the main four was just recently arrested and Grapevine pulled over for a broken tail light, no lights on his car. When the Grapevine, Texas police pulled him over, he had no driver's license, no ID, no insurance, drugs in his car, probably a stolen vehicle also.
This is one of the four now. FBI investigators, they fingerprinted him in Grapevine. Two weeks later, him and his three buddies go to North Dallas, the richer part of Dallas, rob a lady, almost killer. And then this weekend also in San Antonio, Texas, right outside of Dallas, a few hours away, they did another apartment arrest with a 20-something tied to this gang. Venezuelan gang, yeah.
Correct. Now, Joel, Pastor, Stye, this is getting into the richer parts of town now. If you guys don't remember, a few months back, they were also going into, being flown in to California and targeting the multimillion dollar movie stars' homes and disconnecting their video cameras on their homes. These are sophisticated groups, and with the clown, Kamala, always laughing, the return not speaking about this. Why didn't 60 Minutes bring this up last night?
Once again, as we all know. But they don't want anybody else to know. They figure they want to keep their Democrat voters in the dark.
I mean, why do they want the truth out? Houston, Texas, four months ago, a little girl was at the convenience store. Two Venezuelans attacked her. One of the Venezuelans had ankle bracelets on, they cut them off, they raped her, put her body in a creek in Houston, Texas. The nursing student that was raped on the college campus, one of his brothers was also working inside the cafeteria from Venezuela. The woman hiker, Venezuela, hey, hello America, hello America. Yeah, thank you, waking up, waking up the people.
It doesn't seem like people wake up until it happens in their own backyard, right? Well, you know, they brought in 13,900 convicted murderers who were turned loose out of the jails there in Venezuela and other places. They brought them in. Biden brought them in.
14,000 known convicted rapists. That's the ones they know about. In this area, gentlemen, this area I'm talking about in North Dallas, this is part of the town where even Ross Perot, his family lives, on Straight Lane.
I mean, they're some of the most elite people in Dallas, prominent people, wealthy people. So maybe their signs are going to change in their front yard from maybe they're going to start tearing them down, Democrat, and go to a different direction. They're probably ashamed at this point.
They're probably ducking underneath the table, wondering what's going on. I hope so. I can pray that would happen, but I tell you what, if you see any changes down there, call us back. As this stuff happens, if you start to see the people's attitude changing, let us know.
I could use some good news. It's going on all the way across the U.S., and there's no boundaries on it right now. So if it's going on now, guys, we're in trouble. We're in trouble. And these people that are even standing next to that clown, they need to do something.
They need to really be more aware. And like you said, Joe, pray to God it doesn't. But once again, it's over here touching North Dallas.
It's touched California, North Dallas, Colorado, Ohio, San Antonio. Here we are. And people still want to vote for knuckles and chuckles, huh? Well, as it says, we're going to see various times. Like, you know, Pastor Ernie was saying in the beginning of the show this afternoon, we're going to see these times, and people are not going to recognize right from left. And it's just like when this Prince comes, they're going to bend down and worship the Prince, which is going to be the Antichrist. So that's where we are, and that's what we get, or that's what they get from turning away from God. His wrath is going to come down on the ones that turn away from Him.
And that's where we're at as a country, where our society and humanity became a godless society. Amen. I'm getting through. I hope more people like you are listening and catching on and telling your friends, neighbors, family. Do you get the newsletter or newsletter by any chance?

Yeah. The baby thirty years ago. You've been in the right to life movement longer than anybody I know. Since the very beginning we were in there. I was there at the beginning with Dr. Jack Wilkie and Linda Tice, what a wonderful lady.
Her and I are the only ones that I think that are still alive after the original board. I remember I got to talk way back when Dr. Wilkie, I was trying to do open public hearings on the China scandal. What really should have been the reason for impeaching Bill Clinton. And he was giving the Chinese how to launch nuclear warheads and things. And Dr. Wilkie was the one that backed a petition we were filing. He said, that's about as right to life as you can get.
You know, giving the enemy the access to how to launch a nuclear weapon affects my right to life. I remember he was not afraid to speak up and step outside the box when most other people would stick to one issue only. He wasn't afraid to say what he thought. You know, great, great guy.
Yeah, he was. Him and I were very, very good friends. You know, one day when you're talking about him, him and I had lunch.
You're not going to believe this, but I had lunch with Bernard Nathanson. He ran the largest abortion mill in the United States open 365 days a year. But the Lord got a hold of him and changed him, though. Put the fear of God into him, put the fear of God into him. And he said, oh my God, what have I done? Well, it was the film The Silent Scream where he saw the baby in the womb and they were going to inject the saline in the womb.
The baby was pushing the needle away with his little harm. You know, these people, again, abortion is a very, very wicked sin. It's a very wicked sin. And it's like, well, if it's accepted by NBC, ABC and CBS and society, well, let me tell you, God has not accepted it and God is angry with the wicked every day. And you cannot possibly be pro-abortion and a Christian. You cannot possibly be a Christian and be pro-abortion.
You can't. Right. Even though we're in the military, we do a lot of pretty tough guys, guys that combat, had to do killing. Not one of those guys I knew that were really brave and you tell them they had to kill a little baby in the womb. I think most of them would have died before they would have ever killed a child in the womb or even hurt a little child. Even these men that lived in the most violent world, that's something they could not ever do.
I know I've had a lot of friends, not one of them would be capable of doing that. You have to be, there's something really wrong with you to be able to kill a child like that. Well, you know, I spent 45 years ministering up on death row. And some of the most hardened serial killers, they killed a number of people.
But guess what, Joe? When it comes to killing babies, even these guys. They were against it, right?
Right. Even on death row up there, an abortionist, they have to put in isolation because the other inmates would kill them. That's how they're looked upon there.
Wow. And yet, you want to know why so many of these abortionists are alcoholics, and by the way, a number of them have beaten their wives. You hide the incidents of drug use, too, right? Yeah, but a number of them have beaten their wives. And I remember hearing one say, yeah, well, we're like, oh yes, the people want us, except for when it comes to their social gatherings. They don't, the elite, the democratic elite, they don't really invite us to the social gatherings, okay? Yeah, we want you to do the child killing, but don't come to our parties, don't try and hobble up with us, yeah. They're kind of just left out there alone, aren't they?
Nobody wants them. That's right. To kill a child, you know, again, like I said, people still don't get it. God's Word, the Bible, God has ruled on that, and he has given the most horrific punishments, you know, for judgments or for killing children.
The worst, he has brought the harshest judgments for killing children. And so, you know, it's like over there in Jeremiah chapter 2 verse 43, or 34, rather, verse 34, where those women, he says, your skirts are filled with the blood of the innocent. And they were telling, well, now, you see, God says, I don't even have to look upon you, all right?
Your own mouths, by your own mouth, you're condemned. And they said, well, we haven't done anything wrong because we were allowed to do it. It was legal, right? Yep. Legalism, not according to God's law, just according to man's. Yep.
And so there you go. Our founding fathers called him what? The supreme judge of the universe. In other words, he is the high court, and he is the one whose ruling will last forever. His one is the one that they will not change.
There's no appeal courts. Once he rules, it's forever. Yeah. Well, you know, people will say, Brother Sanders, you're pretty hard.
You're pretty hard when it comes to this abortion thing. What they don't understand is I'm not the one that wrote the book. God did. It's what God has said, what God has said. He told us to preach his gospel, his commandments, right? Absolutely.

We don't know. Anyhow, you talked about this last night. Disturbing helicopter with pilots wearing military headgear sabotaged Hurricane Helene recovery supplies of North Carolina distribution site. That's that Cajun Navy. Yeah.
They are great. Yeah. And so it said volunteers of one tiny North Carolina town have revealed a disturbing incident that unfolded Sunday night as the region tries to recover from Hurricane Helene. Videos have emerged on social media showing an unidentified helicopter with pilots wearing military-style headgear sabotaging dearly needed supplies at the United Cajun Navy distribution site in Burnsville, despite volunteers in a seemingly deliberate act of sabotage, despite volunteers designating the area as a no-fly, no-drop zone just hours before.
And so here. Again, FEMA, the government, that's the government trying to chase out the people who were there doing the work before the government ever got there, and they want the glory. They want to get the, we did that last night. There were stories where they went in and confiscated stuff.
FEMA would hand it out and say it's from the government, you know, taking the credit for what somebody else brought in. So this corrupt government's got to go. I can't stomach any more of these people. Well, you've got a guy heading that up, a Mariacos, and here's a guy that constantly lied under oath to Congress with a smirk on his face, knowing he's telling a bold-faced lie, knowing that they have a corrupt Attorney General, Mary Garland, that is not going to prosecute no matter what. Yeah. And if it hadn't been for those four rhinos. We've got to get some new people in that organization, don't we?

Hi, Pastor Joe. There's something that really bothers me. I have listened to so many people talking about the Vice President, but you will see she does not believe in punishment. And you just talked about punishment a little while ago. If you'll notice, she doesn't believe in punishment at all. That's why they're letting all these people come in here. They know what they've done.
One guy, I think they said he might have, I don't know, killed 45 people or whatever, but they don't care. She doesn't believe in punishment. Here's Karen. She doesn't believe in punishment for the guilty. If you're a pro-lifer, if you're out there saving babies, and just recently they just had a pastor who was preaching at a town hall meeting because they refused to remove the pornography from the school libraries and he was arrested. But now, if you are, Kamala went after the pro-lifers, she really went after the pro-lifers there in San Francisco. She's a wicked woman.
She is. But she really, if you'll notice, she doesn't, in fact, I heard that she had like 11,000 cases, but she never brought punishment on the people. No, she only brought punishment on, yeah. And Mark Rovin also went and he looked at her cases. He could never find one case that she prosecuted. Remember she was talking about how she would go after the international gangs and all that?
She was never prosecuted on one single case when she was in office. Right. And that's really scary. That's why, they don't care how many women get raped.
No. They just, and people need to know that. She does not believe in punishment.
So she gets in there, what's she going to do? They don't believe in the police, you know, so they're just going to let everybody run free and do whatever they want because they don't... They don't care about you. You're a Christian. You are a conservative.
Or, you know, a combination of both. And so you are the enemy, see? Oh, yeah.

All right. One of the big things in making a life decision, the biggest decision of your life, comes down to one thing, I think, trusting in God. Trusting in His Word. And there's a hymn, it's called Only Trust Him. Come every soul by sin oppressed, there's mercy with the Lord, and He will surely give you rest by trusting in His Word. For Jesus shed His precious blood, rich blessings to bestow, plunged now into the crimson flood that washes white as snow. Yes, Jesus is the truth, the way that leads you into rest. Believe in Him without delay. And you are fully blessed. Come then and join this holy band, and on the glory go to dwell in that celestial land where joy is a mortal flow.
Only trust Him, only trust Him. He will save you. He will save you now. Salvation is what Jesus offers to those who will accept His offer of mercy. Salvation.
He shed His blood upon that cross at Calvary for the forgiveness of sins, for your sins, for my sins. We have to trust Him. We have to trust Him that His Word is true. Well, we go back and look at the Bible. They've tried for a couple thousand years, they've tried for a long time to prove the things that Jesus said were false. His gospel is false. The Holy Bible is false.
They can't do it. All of the things that they said would happen happened exactly. The Bible has been perfect on that. You have the Word of the Creator of the Universe. There were so many non-believers who were going to search and study and prove the Bible wrong.
Well, they became some of the stoutest Christians. But trusting Him is what you have to do. You have to believe His Word. And what does He tell us? Well, He tells us that there's only one way to heaven.
It's not through your church or religion or philosophy, good works, you know, moral living, all this. John 14, 6, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no man cometh unto the Father but by me. John 1, verses 12 and 13, But as many as received Him as Savior, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name, which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. That's that being born again, that spiritual baptism. And we know John 3, 3, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Because why? Well, you're a sinner. You have to, you're a sinner.
God makes it plain. Romans 5, 12, 4, 4, Is by one man sin entered into the world, and by death sin. So death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And we know that God made it clear that He requires punishment for sin. John 3, 36, And he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. Romans 6, 23, For the wages of sin is death. But God has this wonderful gift, the gift of eternal life. Romans 6, 23, But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5, 8, But God commanded his love toward us, and that while we were yet sinners, his Son Christ died for us. And we all know John 3, 16, For God so loved a world, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, the law already did that, but that the world through him, through Jesus Christ, might be saved. So we have to make a confession. We have to confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. We have to believe that God raised him from the dead. The scripture said that if we do, we can be saved because it's from the heart.
We have to believe. And through the mouth we make our confession. So we have to call upon the Father. We have to confess that we're a sinner, we need a Savior. We have to tell him that we're sorry from the heart, that our sins placed his Son on that cross, that he had to shed his blood for us, for the mission of our sin, my sin, your sin. And we have to ask for forgiveness. And then we can call upon Jesus Christ to be our Savior, our Messiah, that we want to give ourself to him.
So we have to be willing to do that completely, without hesitation, without reservation, we don't make deals. We're going to give our Savior his place in our life. One minute, Joe.
One minute. And if we're willing to do that, then this marvelous thing happens. He accepts us. He gives us the down payment on eternal life. That is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God, which is our spiritual baptism.
That's at rebirth. We are reborn spiritually by the power of the Holy Spirit. And we become then a new creature, the Bible says, a new creation.
A son or daughter of the living God, a child of the kingdom, a joint heir with Jesus in everlasting life. And you will find your heart full of peace that you've never had before. You will find joy and happiness you've never had. And you will have made the greatest decision you can make in this world, that you want to spend eternity with Jesus in heaven, and not spend eternity in hell, hellfire. Yep, you've got God's word on all of that.
You've got God's word on all of that. Amen. We come to that time tonight that we always come to every night, and that's where we say, thanks for being here, all you folks out there, thanks for your support. Thank you for the nice calls.
