I'm Radio Pastor Ernie Sanders and indeed this is the voice of the Christian Resistance on this 10th day of April 2022 and Palm Sunday. And tonight the title of my message is his seven last words on the cross. His seven last words on the cross and of course these words were spoken at the greatest event that ever took place in all of recorded history.

And we're going to get into it now. I'll start out by just listing these seven and then as we go through the message we'll take them in the context that they're in. Luke 23 34. Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Luke 23 43. Verily I say and today today shalt thou be with me in paradise. John 19 26 and 27. Woman behold thy son. Son behold thy mother. Matthew 27 46. My God my God why hast thou forsaken me. John 19 28. I thirst. John 19 30.

It is finished. Luke 23 46. Father into thy hands I commend my spirit. Well being that this is Palm Sunday we're going to be starting tonight over in Matthew chapter 21. And here it talks about the event of Palm Sunday. And when they drew an eye into Jerusalem and were come to Bethphage unto the Mount of Olives then sent Jesus to disciples saying unto them go into the village and over against you and straight away you shall find an ass tied and a colt with her loose them and bring them unto me and if I if any man say ought unto you you shall say the Lord has need of them and straight away he will send them now in this passage this is the only in Matthew that mentions both the the ass the she-ass and the colt the other passages only mention the colt and all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet saying tell you the daughter of Zion behold the king cometh unto the meek and sitting upon an ass and a colt the full of an ass well I want to very quickly just jump over here to with this to Zachariah and in Zachariah chapter 9 we read verse 9 now this takes place some 400 years earlier rejoice greatly all daughter of Zion shout oh daughter of Jerusalem behold thy king cometh unto thee he is just and having this having salvation lowly and writing upon an ass and upon a colt the full of an ass so here Jesus fulfilled that prophecy of Zachariah 9 9 as he came in going back to Matthew 21 verse 6 and the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them and brought the ass and the colt and put them put on them their clothes and they set them there on and a very great multitude spread their garments in the way others cut down branches from the trees and strewed them in the way and the multitudes that went before and they followed cried saying hosanna to the son of David blessed is he that cometh in the name of the lord hosanna in the highest and when he was coming to Jerusalem all the city was moved saying who is this and the multitude said this is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee well here uh they were on their way from Jericho and here as they neared the disciples neared Bethphage on the slope of the amount of olives just outside Jerusalem is when he sent two of the disciples into the village and so here as as Jesus rode the donkey into into Jerusalem he received in fact this is one of the very few places in all of the bible that that the uh where the gospels record that Jesus glories is recognized here on earth now these very same people that were saying they were spreading palms along the way they were the very shortly they would betray him and turn on him because of political pressure and so here as we read and Jesus went to the temple of God and he cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple and he overthrew the tables of the money changers and the seats of them that sold doves and said unto them it is written might my house shall be called the house of prayer but you have made it to a den of thieves and the blind and the lame came to him in the temple and he healed him and when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did and the children crying in the temple saying hosanna on the son of David they were displeased and they said unto him hear us thou what they say and Jesus saith unto them yeah yay you have never read out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou has perfected praise and he left them and went out of the city of Bethany and he lodged there now this is the second time that Jesus cleared the temple he in fact he if we read over in john 2 13 through 17 we see he did it again merchants and money changes set up their booths in the court of the gentiles in the temple crowding out the gentiles who had come from all over the civilized world to worship God now the merchants sold sacrificed animals at high prices taking advantage of those who had come a long distance the money changes exchanged all their international currency for the special temple coins and the only money that the merchants would accept they often deceived foreigners who didn't know the exchange rates and then here their commercialism in God's house frustrated people's attempts at worship this of course greatly angered Jesus any practice that interferes with the worshiping God should be stopped today we referred to those that do such things as prosperity as the prosperity movement out there today it's not exactly the same but it is it's peddling often they're peddling goods or whatever uh but but mostly they just peddled a false message now i want to go over to luke chapter 23 in luke chapter 23 chapter 23 we read starting with verse 32 and there were also two other male factors led with him to be put to death and when they were come to the place which is called calvary where they crucified him and the male factors one on the right and the other on the left hand well here we knew that we knew that the one on the right was the one that repented and we know that the one on the left was the one that refused to how do we know that well it's not hard to figure out if we go over to matthew 25 we read this now this was written before christ was upon the cross and when the son of man shall come in his glory and all the angels with him okay then shall the king say unto them on his right hand come ye blessed of my father inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world and then he shall say to them on the left depart from me you cursed it and everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels and so here as we see this and then said jesus father forgive them for they know not what they do and they parted his raiment and cast lots now here in order for the father to forgive them what was required was that they had to repent and acknowledge that very one that very one that they were yelling crucify crucify was the only lord and savior and he was the only one that could save them and they had to repent and they had to call upon him and beg him to forgive them beg him to forgive them and that's the only way that they could receive forgiveness it was through repentance and calling on the name of the lord jesus well i dare not say that not many did and the people stood up beholding and the rulers also with them derided him saying he saved others let him save himself if he be the christ the chosen of god and the soldiers also mocked him coming to him offering offering him vinegar and saying if they'll be the king of the jews save thyself and a superscription also was written over him in the letters of greek and latin and hebrew this is the king of the jews now here the roman soldiers customarily divided up the clothing of executed criminals among themselves and and when they cast lots for jesus clothes they fulfilled the prophecy of psalm 22 18 and i think we may be going over there here tonight and taking a look at psalm 22 18 and one of the male factors who was who were hanging rallied on him saying if thou be the christ save thyself and us that was the one on the left but the other answering reviewed him saying does not thou fear god seeing thou art in the same condemnation and we indeed justly for we receive the due reward of our deeds but this man had done nothing amiss and he said unto jesus lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom and jesus said unto him verily i say unto thee thou shall be with me in paradise and so in some of the passages they have it where where he says verily i say to well here verily i say into thee today shall be with me in paradise and so this is one of those misunderstood passages of scripture where often people thought that he was saying i'm telling you today that you're going to be with me in paradise but you're not going to be in paradise today but he was referring to yes today i'm telling you now the dying criminal have more faith than the dying criminal have more faith than the rest of jesus followers put together although the disciples continued to love jesus their hopes for the kingdom were shattered most of them had gone into hiding as one of his followers sadly said two days later we trusted that it had been he in which should have redeemed israel by contrast the criminal looked at the man dying next to him and said lord remember me when thou comest until thy kingdom by all appearances the kingdom was finished how all inspiring is the faith of this man who alone he alone saw beyond the present shame to the coming glory and it was about the sixth hour and there were darkness all over the earth until the ninth hour and the sun was darkened and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst and when jesus had cried out with a loud voice he said father and to thy hands i command my spirit and having said thus he gave up the ghost now here when it was about the sixth hour uh there was darkness all over the earth that was about noon that was around noon and the earth turned dark dark sun was darkened and the veil of the temple was written now all of nature was mourning all of creation was mourning this creator for three hours now it's an interesting thing too when the veil of the temple was rent from top down uh by the way that that veil was was between four and six inches thick before it was cloth upon cloth upon cloth upon cloth and it was around 14 feet high and it was rent from the top down it was rent from the top down now why was that well because it was to show that only god that the veil was read by god himself so what was the significance of this well here uh the veil was before the holy of holies and here when uh when the veil was rent uh first of all uh the event symbolized christ's work on the cross the temple had three parts the the courts for all the people the holy place where only priests could enter and the most holy where the high priest alone could enter once a year it to atone for the sins of the people it was the most holy place in the ark of the covenant and god's presence uh with it rested now the curtain split was the one closed off the most holy from the view at christ their death the barrier between god and man was torn apart now all people were able to approach god directly through christ so at that point the office of the priesthood the office of the priest had ended and we the church became a nation of priests living stones of the body of the rock and so we now could go directly we could go directly to the father with christ being our high priest interceding for us continuously and so here and when the centurion saw what was done he glorified god saying certainly this was a righteous man and all the people that came together to the site holding the things which were done smote their breasts in return and all his acquaintance and the woman that followed him from Galilee stood afar off beholding all of these things now here it's an interesting thing because he's referring to him as a righteous man another passage as a righteous man another passage uh the centurion not only said was he a righteous man but he's also saying uh surely he was the son the son of god and so here i want to go over to john chapter 19 and in john chapter 19 we read starting with verse 18 through 42 well actually i'm going to start yeah well verse 18 and where they crucified him and two others with him on either side one and jesus in the midst now let me read that again where they crucified him with two others with him on either side one and jesus in the midst and pilot wrote a title and he put it on the cross and the writing was now here's the whole this is the whole title jesus of nazareth the king of the jews now this title then read many of the jews for the place where jesus was crucified was nigh to the city and it was written in hebrew and in greek and in latin well the hebrew was for the hebrew was for obviously was for the jews the latin was for the roman soldiers and the romans there and the greek uh was for all of the visitors that were coming in from the greek visitors then said the chief priests of the jews to pilot right not the king of the jews but that he said i am the king of the jews and pilot answered what i have written i have written the pilot was not happy with the sheep wreath he he really he knew jesus was innocent and he said that i find no fault in this man at all i don't find that he's done anything wrong and yet because of political and then like we see this happens today we see people bowing down we see joe biden bowing down to the the squat the so-called progressive left the communist we see him compromising we see often our the the rhinos bowing down we see so much compromise and we see it and in this what is supposed to be the church today too we see the apostate churches uh united methodist united church of the anti-christ the episcopal world the national council of churches uh the pilgrim church so on we see them the apostate church embracing everything everything that god calls sin they embrace and so here then said the chief priests of the jews to pilot well oh i read that pilot answered what i've written i have written then the soldiers when they had crucified jesus took his garments and made four parts to every soldier apart and also his coat now the coat was without seam and woven from the top throughout they said therefore among themselves let us not rend it but cast lots for it whose it shall be that the scripture might be fulfilled would say they parted my remnant among them and for my vesture did they cast lots now these things therefore the soldiers did and of course uh jesus fulfilled so many so very many prophecies during this period here and so that we see that the roman soldiers in charge of the crucifixion again they customarily took for themselves the clothes of the condemned men and here they fulfilled the prophecy in psalms 22 18 when they did this now there stood by the cross of jesus his mother and his mother's sister mary the wife of cleophus and mary magdalene and when jesus therefore saw his mother and the disciples standing by whom he loved he say then to him mother woman behold thy son then said he to the disciple behold thy mother and from that hour the disciple took her into his own home now here uh even though while he was dying on the cross jesus was concerned about his family he instructed john to care for mary his mother now our families are precious gifts from god and we should value and care for them under the circumstances neither christian work nor key responsibilities in any job in any job at all excuse us from well for taking care of our families now here he goes on to say well and then jesus has his close friend john the writer of this gospel in fact to care for his mother mary whose husband joseph must have been dead by this time why didn't jesus assign his task to his brother says the eldest son jesus entrusted his mother to a person who stayed with him at the cross and that was john remember jesus actually had to go in into jerusalem and get crucified and then raise himself from the dead before his own brothers would believe upon him and after this jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished that the scripture might be filled saith i thirst again that is one of the the seventh things that the lord jesus said upon the cross we just read behold woman behold thy son now he's saying i thirst and there was a set of vessel full of vinegar and they filled a sponge with vinegar and put upon hyssop hyssop and put it to his mouth and when jesus there have received the vinegar he said it is finished and he bowed his head and gave up the ghost so that was the last things he had said well also he said in fact i commend myself into the well the last thing well father into thy hands i come into my spirit and so uh this is actually recorded after he said it is finished and then father into thy my hands i commend my spirit so here the jews therefore because it was the preparation that the body should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day so the sabbath day was on a high day they besought flight that their legs might be broken and then they might be taken away then came the soldiers and they break the legs of the first and of the other which was crucified with him but when they came to jesus and he saw that he was dead already they break not his legs but one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side and forth we came there out blood and water and he saw and bear bear record and the record and the record is true that he knoweth that he saith true that he might believe for these things were done and the scripture should be fulfilled the bone of him shall not be broken and again another scripture saith that he should look upon him who they had pierced now it was against god's law to leave the body of a dead person exposed overnight deuteronomy 21 verse 23 in fact i believe it was also against the law to work after sundown on friday when the sabbath began this is why the religious leaders urgently wanted to get jesus body off the cross and buried by sundown now the romans were experienced soldiers they knew from many previous crucifixions whether a man was dead or alive there was no question that jesus was dead and when they checked him so they decided not to break his legs as they had done to the other victims piercing the side and seeing the separation of the blood and water indicating that the heart had been pierced it was further proof of his death some people say jesus didn't really die on but he only swooned or he passed out and that's how he came back to life of course that and that was one of the the stories that many of the muslims used to tell but we have the witness of an impartial party the roman soldiers that jesus died on the cross now the roman soldiers broke the victim's legs to hurry the death process when a person hung across and death came by suffocation but when the victim could push against the cross with his legs to hold up his body and keep breathing with broken legs he would suffocate much much quicker now the graphic details of jesus deaths are especially important in john's record why well because john himself was a witness to the whole thing and so here jesus died when the lambs of the passover meal were being slain right at that time when the lambs were not a bone was to be broken and these sacrificial lambs exodus 12 46 numbers 9 12 and jesus the lamb of god was the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world and so here and after this joseph of arimathea being a disciple of jesus but secretly for fear of the jews besought pilot that he might take away the body of jesus and pilot gave leave and he came therefore and took the body of jesus and there came also nicodemus which at the first came to jesus by night and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes and a hundred pounds weight then it took the the body of jesus and wounded in and wounded in linen clothes with spices as the number of the jews is to bury now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden and in the garden of sepulcher wherein was never a man yet laid there lay jesus therefore because of the jews preparation day for the sepulcher was nigh at hand well here we see that both nicodemus and joseph of arimathea at first they were secret followers of the lord jesus they they weren't out in the open because they they were members they were members of the sanhedrin and uh they would have been outed if you will or not outed uh harassed harangued but now they've come out now uh they are more convinced than ever that jesus is the messiah and so now they're openly come out and openly in fact they spoke spoke out in his defense at one point and so here i want to go over to matthew 27 in matthew 27 starting with uh well starting with verse 38 now there were two thieves crucified with him one on the right hand and another on the left and they passed by and reviled him wagging their heads saying thou has destroyed the temple and built it in three days save thyself thou be the son of god come down from the cross well here jesus was referring to his body and you see our bodies are the temple of the holy spirit and he was referring to his body as as the temple well they went right over their heads when he said what he said destroyed this temple this temple not that temple destroyed this temple and i will raise it again in three days and likewise also the chief priests mocking him and the scribes and the elders said he saved others himself he cannot save if he be the king of israel let him come down from the cross we will believe him he trusted in god let him deliver him now if he will have him for he said i am the son of god the thieves also which were crucified with him now that word should have been the thief also which were crucified with him cast the same in his in his teeth and so here when you see this uh one of the things that they had said they had said that let his blood be upon us and our children wrong thing to say wrong thing to say and what was it well throughout history uh israel has paid one heck of a price with that because that that wish was granted them over the years throughout the years they were a very stiff neck people and they paid one one heck of a price for that and here now from the sixth hour where there was darkness all over the land until the ninth hour that's from noon until three in the afternoon and about the ninth hour jesus cry with a loud voice saying eli eli lama savage and i that is to say my god my god why has thou forsaken me well we're going to read this again in another place here in a minute and so we see that this darkness occurred but it's it's clear that god caused it now nature testifies to the gravity of jesus death when while jesus friends and enemies alike fell silent in the enforcing gloom the darkness on that friday afternoon was both physical and spiritual now jesus was not questioning god he was quoting and we'll as we'll see here in a minute in the first line of psalm 22 a deep expression of anguish a deep deep deep expression of anguish he felt when he took on the sins of the whole world there's a it's it's hard to even start it's it's to even contemplate taking on the awesome magnitude of taking on having the sins of the entire world laid upon you but christ did that at that time upon the cross he had the sins of the entire world put upon him and i don't think we can even start to begin uh to even uh realize the signs of the lies the significance of that now here some of them that stood there when they had heard that said this man called for elias and straight away one of them ran and took a sponge and filled it with vinegar and put it on a reed and gave it to him to drink the rest said let's see whether elias would come to save him well here these bystanders they misinterpreted jesus words he thought that he was called elijah because elijah ascended into heaven without dying they thought he would return again to rescue them from the great trouble at their annual passover meal each family set an extra plate for elijah expecting his return and jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up the ghost and again the veil of the temple was red was red and twain from the top to the bottom and the earth did shake again that that veil just to emphasize was between four and six inches thick and it was around 14 feet high and again it was torn it was rent from top down showing that it was not man but god himself that rent that and the bottom from twain was rent from the twain from the top to the bottom and the earth did quake and rocks rent and the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints which slept arose and here christ's death was accomplished by at least four major events darkness the splitting of the curtain and the temple and earthquake and dead people rising from their tombs and jesus death therefore could not have been going on notice everybody everybody it was the talk of the entire world everyone knew that something was significant that happened now he goes on again and the graves were opened and the and many bodies of the saints would step to rose and came out of the graves and many bodies of the saints would step to rose and came out of the graves after his resurrection and he went into the holy city and appeared into many now when the satyrion and they that were with him watching jesus saw the earthquake and those things which were done they feared greatly saying truly this was the son of god so people say well you see we've got some discrepancies here it says over here the satyrion said surely he was a righteous man and over here it says that he was the son of god well yeah it's both the satyrion says surely he was a righteous man surely he was the son of god and many women were there behold in a far off which followed jesus from Galilee ministering to him among which was mary magdalene and mary the mother of james and joseph and the mount and the mother of zebedee's children now i want to remind you again that in this order these were the seven last statements of the lord jesus father forgive them for they know not what they do luke 23 34 verily i say unto thee thou shall be with me uh verily i say unto thee today shalt thou be with me in paradise luke 23 43 and he said woman behold thy son son behold thy mother john 1926 and 27 and then he said number four my god my god thou has forsaken me matthew 27 and also the same as in mark 15 34 then he said in john 1928 i thirst and that john 1930 it is finished and over in luke he has him in luke 23 46 saying father unto thy hands i commend it my spirit and so here now we we pick it up and when evening was come there came a rich man of arabia named joseph who also himself was jesus disciple and he went to pilot and he begged the body of jesus then pilot commanded the body to be delivered and when joseph was taken body was he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and laid it in his own tomb which he had hewn out of the rock and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher and departed and there was mary magnolin and the other mary sitting over against the sepulcher now the next day that followed the day of preparation the chief priests and pharisees came together and the pilot saying sir we remembered that that deceiver said while he was yet alive after three days i will rise again command therefore that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day lest his disciples come by night and steal him away and say unto the people he is risen from the dead so the last error shall be worse than the first and pilot said it to them you have a watch go your way make it sure as you can so they went and made the sepulcher sure sealing the stone and setting a watch now i want to go over to psalm 22 and in psalm 22 no we're going to see how this which was a thousand years earlier well maybe not quite i better check that but we see in psalm 22 the prophet all of these prophecies being fulfilled by the lord jesus my god my god why has thou forsaken me why art thou so far from helping me and from the words of my roaring oh my god i cry in the daytime but thou hear'st not and in the night season and am not silent but thou art holy oh thou inhabits the praises of israel our fathers trusted in thee our fathers trusted in thee and trusted and now dis deliver them they cried into thee and were delivered they trusted in thee and they were not confounded but i am a worm and no man reproach of me and despises of the people all they that see me laughed me to scorn they shoot out their lip they shake their heads saying he trusted on the lord and he would deliver him let him deliver him seeing he delighted in him but thou art he that took me out of the womb thou did make me hope when i was upon my mother's breasts i was cast upon thee from the womb thou art my god from my mother's belly be not far from me for trouble is near for there is none help many bowls have compassed me strong bowls of bation have beset me around the gapped upon me with their mouths as a ravening and a roaring lion i'm poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint my heart is like wax it is melted in the midst of my bowels my strength is dried up like a postured and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws and now has brought me into the dust of death for dogs have compassed me the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me they pierce my hands and my feet i may tell thy bones they look and stare upon me they part my garments among them and cast lots above my vesture be not far from me oh lord oh strength has thou to help me deliver my soul from the sword my darling from the power of the dog save me from the lion's mouth for thou has heard me from the horns of the unicorns and so here now we see when he's referring to the the bowls of bation the land of bation located was just east of the sea of galley was known for its strong and fat cattle in fact old amos chapter four referred to uh to the the the rich the rich uh women there who were greedy as cows of abation now it was a great insult to human dignity to rob a person of everything even his clothing leaving him naked and destitute jesus the messiah would suffer this humiliating experience on the cross most of us will never know the shame and suffering of being penniless and naked in a public place as many of the jews did during the nazi holocaust but most of us feel equally exposed and naked when some sin is or maybe not so secret sin is uncovered and here we see as he goes on to say i want to go back let me go back here to uh 22 verse one now david had gave an amazingly accurate description of the suffering messiah would endure hundreds of years later david was obviously enduring some great trial himself at that time but through his suffering he like the messiah was to come came and gained victory jesus the messiah quoted this verse while hanging on the cross carrying our burden of sin we quoted that over matthew 27 here now when we go to verses 9 through 11 but thou art hey that look upon me out of the womb thou didst make my hope when i was above my mother's breast it was cast upon me from the womb thou art my god from my mother's belly be not far from me for trouble is near for there is none to help and so here god's love and concern does not begin the day that we're born and conclude on the day that we die he reaches back into those days before we were born and reaches ahead along the unending path of eternity our only sure help actually comes from god who's concerned for us reaches far far far beyond earthly existence how can anyone reject such love well now i want to go over to isaiah chapter 53 now this this passage here like the ones we just read now bear in mind those those very same were jewish leaders the scribes and the pharisees the sadducees they had then what i just read a perfect description a perfect description of of what christ was doing and they understood what christ was quoting they knew they said look look at the miracles this guy is doing we can't you know we can't deny that he's doing miracles why he made the blind to see so they knew who he had to be scripture made it clear that it described him perfectly and here in isaiah 53 again it describes him perfectly now they were in denial they were in denial they didn't want to think that they had crucified their messiah now today many of them do that many have now recognized that who has believed that report and to whom is the arm of the lord revealed now remember uh most of the jews will teach that this is not not referring or describing the lord jesus but the nation of israel itself and it's uh you just cannot in any way shape or form place the nation of israel in here this was speaking of none other than the lord of lords and the king of kings whoever who believed their report and who and to whom is the arm of the lord revealed for he shall grow up before him as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground he had no form or communist and when he we shall see him there is no beauty that we should desire him well his beauty came from what he did and who he was and not from his appearance you know he may not you know he he didn't look like elvis folks but even old elvis himself realized that the lord jesus was the lord of lord and the king of kings and one time when elvis was doing a concert and i had to be watching that so many years ago a number of women had had a banner they had a big banner and they lifted this banner up that says elvis is king and elvis said take it down take it down jesus is king and elvis refused to go on with the show until they took the matter down he understood what happens when people take on praise and allow themselves to receive that was a form of worship and and elvis knew that and he feared god he is despised and rejected of men a man of sorrows and was acquainted with grief as we hid as it were our faces from him he despised he was despised and we esteemed him not surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of god and afflicted but he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities and the chastisement that the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed all we like sheep have gone astray and have turned everyone to his own way and the lord have laid on him the iniquity of us all uh isaiah speaks of israel stating from uh straying away from god and likens them to wandering sheep he was oppressed and he was afflicted that he opened out his mouth he he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter and a sheep before their shearers is dumb and so he opened out his mouth remember what he said the pilot pilot said now speak is not don't you know i have the power of life or death over you and you remain silent he was taken from prison and from judgment and who shall declare his generation for he was cut off from the out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people was he stricken and he made his grave with a wicked and with the rich in his death because he had done no violence neither was there any deceit in his mouth and yet it pleased the lord to bruise him he has put him to grief when thou shall make his soul an offering for sin he shall see his seed and shall prolong his days and the pleasure of the lord shall prosper in his hand he shall see the travail of his soul and he shall be satisfied by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many for he shall bear their iniquities therefore i will divide him a portion with a great and he shall divide the spoil with a strong because he had poured out his soul into death and he was numbered with the transgressors and he bared the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors so when he says he will divide a portion with a great well we those that the bride of christ the born again believe in believers become heirs of the kingdom and all of those that have called upon his name will be will sharing will be heirs in the kingdom of god and folks next week again as we celebrate resurrection sunday it was the the greatest event in all of recorded history there was nothing that could ever affect humanity mankind the way that his death burial and resurrection did he defeated death he defeated hell and that means for those that call upon his name will have eternal life now i just read to you and all of this by the way there has never been a man the the the ten most best well-known men in all of history if you place all of them together there hasn't been as much written about or scrutinized as the lord jesus there has never been a man and we see this and we see these prophecies that he fulfilled exactly where exactly when and there were actually people out there that said he was able to do this because he was the world's greatest magician no folks he's the king of kings and the lord of lords he's the savior christ jesus and he was the creator and the redeemer until tomorrow i want to say
