are happy to rob you of your faith, steal your liberty in Christ, and lie about it in the process. Unfortunately, most of us will be taken advantage of at least once in our lifetime but no deception is more dangerous or hurtful than when it is directed at spiritual things and empowered by Satan. The last several chapters have focused primarily on spiritual charlatans associated with the last days. We've seen how the dynamics of spiritual truths and falsehoods are played out in the physical realm. Yet because we traffic the material world, we quickly forget how connected we are with the spiritual battle between darkness and light.
We would do well to remember three areas vulnerable to demonic attack. The first is religion. Satan loves to infiltrate religious settings in his quest to deceive. But if someone isn't in interested in religion, that's okay. He has another line of attack.
Politics. Globally, nations are cracking under the strain of recent events and, in response, leaders are ushering in ideologies promising a collective utopia that human nature renders impossible. yet citizens looking to replace God with government as the provider of every need are falling for this deception wholesale. and then there are the dark powers present in the realm of business. Satan makes it a point to move along the movers and shakers of the business world.
If you have any doubt, look at the companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. Dig into the extent of their individual holdings, some of which might surprise you. those three giants are hard at work to provide everything required for a community or nation to function, making other options unnecessary. For example, Jeff Bezos envisions Amazon becoming embedded in a customer's lifestyle. His goal is making Amazon a daily habit.
Small and mid-sized businesses are closing at breakneck speed. Speed because they can't compete with these types of global conglomerates. all of which fits into a last day's scenario. Why is this happening? Control A famous quote taken from an English Uh taken from a letter that English historian Historian Lord Acton wrote to Bishop Creighton in 1887, sums it up perfectly.
act and believe the same moral standards should be applied to all men, political and religious leaders alike. Because power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. False apostles doing false ministry in what are no doubt false churches are those who promise much.
But offer nothing. These types of leaders are whales without water, clouds carried about by a tempest. To the early Christians this language was graphic. For us to grasp the full meaning to day we need to dig a little deeper, pun intended. the necessity of well Will implies thirst, but For most of us this is hard to relate to because quenching our thirst usually involves grabbing a glass and turning on the kitchen tap.
to fill it with water. but imagine travelling through the United States' driest places like California's Death Valley, and running out of water. If that happened you would go hunting for a whale, and when you found one you'd drop a rock down the whale and listen. What would you listen for? A splash.
The sound you don't want to hear is the tail tail sign of an empty well. Silence. the same response people looking uh for refreshment from false teachers get. When you hang around those types of waterless whales long enough you would begin to think that they define what a whale should be. dry with nothing in it except a sandy bottom, incapable of offering refreshment, but without spiritual water there is no vitality which equals dead Christianity.
So the well is dry, and you are still thirsty.
Now, what What do you hope for? Rain. But Jude 1 and 12 tells us that these false teachers can't supply that either because they are like clouds driven by the wind. They are just passing through. Clouds are amazing and I happen to love them.
I can name the various types. What I can name the various types, what is happening inside them, which ones are safe to fly through, and those to avoid. But the contrast between a whale and a cl and a cloud is striking. A whale can quickly run out of water because it is only a hole dug into a stony ground. But a cloud consists of water, and Lastly, meteorologists say that depending on the size and cloud type, a cloud can hold tons of water.
water that is meant to replenish and to refresh. The sight of clouds assumes a blessing is in store. water is on the way. Nothing is worse than watching a cloud pass overhead during a drought, only for it to give nothing. Likewise you can be thirsty and go looking for hope from a church or ministry but if the message it proclaims lacks spiritual and truth and substance, there is no watering for your soul.
You'll walk out the door just as parched as when you entered and worse off because you are less hopeful for the experience. And herein is a warning, false teachers are like the wind driven storm clouds that withhold refreshment. They know the truth, but they refuse to dispense it. Believer, beware. Here come two more sheriffs' things, and they drive by with lights shining in the yard. They were already doing that. And I said, Let me guess, you got a call. And then he said, yeah. And then, of course, they'll never tell me the specifics.

Uh it says Democratic Mayor John Uh Leech? Of Aurora, I hope I'm pronouncing his name right. Of Aurora, Illinois ordered flags to fly at full staff. in the city despite proclamations from President Donald Trump. and Democratic Illinois' Governor J.B.
Pritzker. uh according to a memo circulating on social media. Authorities have arrested Tyler Robinson, accusing him of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. During a Turning point USA prove me wrong event. at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
during which Kirk was debating attendees on a variety of topics. Trump ordered flags to fly at half staff in Kirk's memory Wednesday. while Pritzker issued a proclamation Friday ordering the flag to be flown at half staff in honor of victims. of political violence, avoiding any mention of Kirk. A person on the ground in Aurora familiar with the city's fire department confirmed the validity of the memo circulating on X to the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Good morning, all. As directed by the Mayor, all City of Aurora buildings, including the fire stations, are to have their flags at full staff. The memo from the fire chief David McCabe of Aurora Fire Department posted by Frank Ritchie, A retired New Haven, Connecticut firefighter read, I know everyone has their own opinion on whether the flag should be at full or half staff, but that is irrelevant.
Someone will be coming around to raise all station flags to full staff. The memo went on to say that any manipulation of the flags to place them back at the half-staff would be viewed as a violation. Of a direct order. Imagine that. The source on the ground told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the local firefighters union reached an agreement with L LASIX that no member of the Union would have to raise the flag to full staff.
A video posted to X by Ritchie appears to show Fire Assistants Chief of Operations Matt Anslow moving the flag to full staff. In a flagrant disregard for unity, the mayor and chief raised the flags, chasing cheap political points over national mourning, exposing the left's relentless pursuit of division over decency, Ritchie told DCNF. According to the proclamation by President Trump, flags were to be hat Were to be flown at half staff until. September 14th. Pritzker's proclamation ended the period of flying the flag at half staff.

FBI agents said on photos of Kirk's Assassin for twelve hours before telling Cash Patel.
That's right. There's still a big battle. There's a war going on. It's been going on both within the FBI and the CIA. uh out there.
In fact, in the in the Justice Department, in the DOJ. you still have a lot of stay behind. Stay stay behind. They're they're there purposely. Yeah.
I mean, it's it's only been, what, eight months? Yeah. Something like that, eight, nine months or whatever at at the most.
So I mean, they're still purging some of these traders that are still there. And that's exactly what they're they're in there and they're Uh they're there to cause as many problems as they possibly can, so here Yeah. FBI agents in Salt Lake City reportedly said on crucial photos of the suspected assassin who assassinated Charlie Kirk for nearly twelve hours before sharing it with the boss, Director Caspatel. The delay prompted an angry response from Patel, who was incensed that he was not informed more quickly. It goes on to say And I can't get the pages apart, the figures.
Uh Well, first it's the eyes, now it's the fingers. Yeah, it's uh Um if um if I stop moving in here, okay. Call them over. Oh, my goodness. Charlie Kirk, the.
Firmas, founder of Turning Point USA, and a relentless voice against the radical left's agenda, was murdered in cold blood on Wednesday. While addressing thousands of students at Utah Valley University in Orm, Utah, of course we all knew that by now. Just hours before the assassination, Cash Patel announced that a second person of interest had been taken into custody. Following Kirk's murder, law enforcement at that time claimed the assassin was dressed in all dark clothing, and fired a single shot Potentially you know, for the roof. Here's a couple questions we have.
One. The the timing of this thing, did you notice that? That shot was fired immediately, immediately after Charlie took a question, and the question was How many of the shooters were trans? Mm-hmm. And then all of a sudden, boom.
You don't suppose that was a signal, do you? It could have been, un but unfortunately, I think anyone could have. Came to the conclusion that he's gonna get a question like that. Because he usually gets at least one question like that per time he does this.
So, whether the guy who asked the question was in on it or not, that's certainly a discussion that needs to be happened, that needs to take place, and they need to talk to him just to. Just to vet it to make sure. But that was going to happen, anyways. You know, someone was going to ask about transgender. That's just the nature of.
what he does at these campuses. 'Cause he uh he always takes people who disagree with him first. Right, or he did. He's quite opinionated, isn't he? Yes, he is.
Okay.
Now, let me ask you this, then, since you seem to know so much, mister.
Okay.
One after the other after the other after the other FBI agents came out. This was a professional hit. This was a professional hit. So tell me, what was that all about? Did the first one come out and the others simply parrot him?
I I have a feeling that's probably what happened. Because I mean, it it kind of The the shot and where it struck Uh there was there was no surviving that.
So it wasn't and and when you compare it to what happened in Butler, How that got botched from from the get-go, uh, with with the uh the shooter how he Barely hit the ear, you know. That was not supposed to be a professional hit. This looked more like what you would expect if it was a professional hit.
Now, whether or not he's had any training or outside help, we don't know that yet.
So that's it. Still kind of up in the air whether that's. Actually there.
Well, the He had help from the devil. The devil was there. Absolutely. And again, that's really what we're up against. You know, we're up against the Lord Jesus'.
You know, that um You and your father is the devil and he's with and boy, I'm gonna tell you, Again, Jones was right when he said that These people perfectly I'll tell you out there screaming and yelling in in your face that They love Satan. And we're seeing it like in like in Colorado, in the government in Colorado, and New Mexico. More and more Satanism, you know, you know, ad being adopted and and these blue dark blue states and, um, folks, you gotta stand up, you gotta Take America back. You're gravitating towards the bad guy. You know the story.
If you're picking a side in this, and it's not that you don't believe in God, but. You actually do believe in God and you're picking the bad guy? Like, it's literally insane. Absolutely. Okay, we're gonna uh Right now the numbers are 888.

in hell, in torment, or wh whether they're in glory.

As we look at the events that have just happened, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, I'm sure I'm not the only one, but many have felt the grief, the heartache, probably have perhaps even shed tears over what has happened. Because even if you didn't know him personally, You could feel What has been lost? A father taken away from his children, a husband taken away from his wife. And the loss of a person that was so impactful in the community. And um Here, the Bible tells us that blessed.
I want to say this to those that are. hurting blessed earth. Blessed are those that mourn. for they shall be comforted. Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
And um Yeah. As we look at that, There is more things that are on the horizon. There are things that are going to affect the hearts of men, as the Bible says. But if your trust. is in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have a promise from him. And we read from Revelation, and I just want to touch back on a few of those things because we have a promise that God will one day wipe away all of our tears, every every tear, shall be wiped away. Uh but that is to the person that believes in him. and the person that's going to spend eternity with him For the person that rejects God, rejects Christ, rejects His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ, the Bible says it's going to be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And there's going to be a torment that's going to go on forever.
And so in Revelation, if you weren't here for the top of the hour, we started out in Revelation 21. And it said, That he that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake of uh in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. See, the first death is when we When we give up this breath and this body and we die, that's considered that first death. And then if you are not in Christ, you will be in hell.
The body said the Bible says to be absent from the body. Is to be present with the Lord for those that are in Christ. But the Bible tells us here that both death. Death and hell shall be cast into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment. And you don't want to go to either one of those.
And God does not want you to go there. And this is why God is not willing. Of course, that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And you don't want to put off tomorrow. Saying, hey, well, you know what?
I'll get my life together tomorrow because tomorrow is not promised. There are a number of people that are going to go to sleep tonight. and they won't wake up in the morning. The alarm clock won't wake them, somebody shaking them won't wake them, somebody calling nine one one won't help them because their time is going to be required at the time that they went to sleep. Or sometime in the night.
And so that is that is for all of us. We don't know. But the one thing that you can do is that you can be ready. to meet him if you simply accept him in your heart. And everybody, there's a time, there's a point I'm reminded of Paul.
Which was Saul at the first again on the road to Damascus when he heard a voice. He heard the Lord speaking to him also in the light. The Bible talks about the light shining around him, and he heard a voice, but he could hear. Exactly what the Lord was telling him. But Saul, Saul, why do you kick against the pricks?
But those, the Bible says that those around him. they heard a voice, but they couldn't dis discern what was being said. And so I say that to say this to you: that God knows you intricately, in the fact that He already said that even to the number of hairs that are on your head, He has a count. And so he knows you, and he knows he created you, and he knows how to speak to you. And so if you hear that Voice that is speaking to you that is not like anything else.
There is something there is, you hear his voice saying, Hey, you know what? It is time to get this together. It is time to stop sinning. It is time to allow the Lord Jesus into your heart. He says, My sheep, they hear my voice.
And so the Bible says, Behold, I stand at the door and I knock.
So if that's you tonight, just pray this prayer. Father God, I have sinned. I am in need, Father God, of a Savior, and that only Savior could be you. Through Jesus Christ, and I ask you to come into my heart to save me from my sins and to redeem me to my Father God, which is in heaven. And if you pray that right now, God hears you.
If you are praying that from your heart, you are confessing that with your mouth. He is faithful and just to forgive you.
