The following program is sponsored by What's Right, What's Left Ministries and is responsible for its content. Portions of the following program may be pre-recorded. I am Pastor Ernie Sanders, the voice of the Christian resistance. Stay tuned. My radio broadcast, What's Right, What's Left, is coming up right now.

Coming to you live from Independence, Ohio. Changed our life for the better in many different ways. Heard around the world every Monday through Friday. Pastor Sanders is always years ahead of the rest of the media, telling you exactly what they're covering up. This is what's right, what's left.

I tune in every chance I get to hear exactly what's going on with the voice of the Christian resistance. Unabashedly cutting through the rhetoric by exposing the hard topics facing our society and world. A lot of the other news medias don't pick up the news items like he does. And bringing to light the enemies of freedom who are out to steal your rights, your children, and enslaving you. You really get the truth out.

I can tune into your show and hear the unvarnished truth. Thank you. This is What's Right, What's Left with Pastor Ernie Sanders. Good evening and welcome to another edition of What's Right, What's Left on this 23rd day of August 2025. And tonight my producer and co-host is a man that's undeniably heteronormative.

And that is Kenny. Good evening, Pastor. There you go. I bet you've never been described that way before, have you? Never.

Well, things happen here, I'll tell you. We've got to start tonight with kind of a sad note. And, well, you might say it's sad and glad at the same time because our brother Bob Kilner died today, went home to be with the Lord, but he's no longer in pain and no longer suffering. And so we want to just say that our very, very most sincere condolences to Bob's wife, Char, and his three children. And he's in a better place now.

We have people praying all from coast to coast for his salvation. And I'm just going to believe that God answered that prayer. and so we just want to say Bob is no longer in pain no longer suffering cancer is a horrible thing and so I believe right now that he's he's seeing things that we can only imagine now so again I want to save our most sincere condolences to his family Sharon, the three children The title of the message tonight was Truth, Christians, and the True Church. Truth, Christians, and the True Church.

Now, this is an interesting message because let me tell you what I've done. I've divided my scripture in half, the page in half, and on one side I got truth, on the other side I have delusions or lies. And we're going to get to that in just a minute. But before we do, I was thinking this morning about a fellow named John Bunyan. You've heard of John Bunyan, haven't you?

Yes, I have. He was a man that was seriously gifted with, well, with just absolutely incredible insights. He had an awareness of the immutable truth that the written word of God, and how that far surpasses even the most learned Bible scholars of his day. He was one of so few that really understood the power and the absolute authority and the truth contained in the perfectly inerrant written word of God. This truth is clearly reflected in the incredible pilgrim's progress, which he completed in a prison cell in the year 1678.

And today, here 800 years later, it's more popular than ever, huh? Mm-hmm. And so let's start tonight. We're going to take a look at this. We're going to start with truth.

And we're going to go to the Gospel of John, chapter 14, and read verses 5 through 7. And as you know, I'm kind of still struggling with my eyesight due to these cataracts, but we'll get through it. Thomas said unto him, Lord, we know not whether thou goest, and how can we know the way? Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. no man cometh unto the Father but by me if you had known me you should have known my Father also and from henceforth you know him and you have seen him so what do you think he meant when you said you know the Father and you've seen the Father because that's him they're one and the same part of the Godhead the Bible says the fullness of the Godhead is found in the person of Jesus Christ.

So when you look at Jesus in his body, you see God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, all three right there together. And so now here he makes a point. But, one, this is the sixth of Jesus' great I Am here in Scripture. What do you think the point of I Am is? Kind of like just to dispel any disbelief or distrust, just kind of like a proclamation, you know?

Well, you're right. It would be a proclamation of his deity.

Okay.

Now, he makes three points here. The points that he makes are he is the way to God, right? No one can come to the Father but through the Son. He is the truth of God. He's the Logos.

He's the Word. He's the truth of God. And he is the life in God.

So he makes those three points right there. And so here, again, he's the one and only source of salvation.

Okay, so you've got to go through him to get to the Father, meaning you've got to go through him to get to heaven, huh? Mm-hmm. There is no other way. Right.

Well, the feminists say they want more choices. Too bad. Yeah, it's too bad. isn't it? Let's go over to Matthew.

Now we're going to look at the delusions, the lies. Matthew 24, verses 4 and 5. And Jesus answered and said, excuse me, I lost my place. I'm still having a bit of a problem.

Okay.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. He's not saying that many will come saying, I'm Jesus. He's saying that many are going to come, and of course, Jesus is the Christ, and claimed to be the Messiah, to be Christ. Can you think of any that have done that in our modern times?

Wasn't David Koresh one of them?

Well, he didn't claim to be the Messiah. He claimed to be a prophet. Oh, okay. A mighty prophet.

Okay.

But here George Soros claimed to be God. Sun Yung Moon claimed to be God. Calypso Louie claimed to be God. Barack Obama, remember when he said, I am that one. The one that you've been waiting for.

Right, that was a declaration. Then he says, I am the one I've been waiting for.

So he made a declaration. That's a claim of being God. What did he say about Jesus? He said Jesus is a Messiah and his Savior, but he's only one of many saviors. What do we call that?

Blasphemy. Yeah, we call it blasphemy. What about Paula White? Paula White said just this year earlier when Trump got elected after the coronation and everything at the White House, Paula White's there at the White House and she says when I speak God is speaking she says where I stand is holy ground so she was standing outside there and she looked around her this is holy ground, wherever she stands is holy ground what do you think she was trying to say? it's pretty obvious that she's trying to compare herself to God okay who does that?

the Word of Faith movement, Kenneth Copeland and Jesse, what's his name? You know who I'm talking about. Anyhow, they say that dogs have puppies, cats have kittens, and God has little gods. That's one of their sayings. And so Kenneth Copeland claimed to be a lesser god.

I think Kenneth Colton's an apostate. I think he's a lesser human. Yeah, he's a very, very apostate person there. But anyhow, let's go back for another look at the truth. We go over to John 17.

And in John 17, verses 15 through 19. Pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but thou should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. sanctify them through the truth my word is truth and thou hast sent me into the world even to have I also sent them into the world or even so have I also sent them into the world and so and for their sakes I sanctify myself that they also may be sanctified through the truth.

So here, what do you think that means to process the sanctification? Purify? No, it means they've been set aside for the Lord's work, for a special work of the Lord. And so here, that very evil, the evil that Jesus prayed the fatherhood keep his disciples from.

Well, one is the devil and his wiles. It's the same evil, the very same evil the apostate church embraces today. What do they embrace today? How about child sacrifice, either through abortion or through... The apostate church, the World of National Council churches was involved in this human trafficking.

through their outreaches.

So child sacrifice, they embrace pedophilia, they embrace sodomy, fornication, adultery, murder. Almost anything called sin, they embrace. If God's word in the Bible calls it sin, then they embrace it. And today, did you ever notice something here? every time I go to watch the House or the Senate open in prayer, they always have a woman minister, a woman pastor, supposedly ordained women.

Now how many of those congressmen and senators do you think there know that women are not supposed to be ordained ministers I'd probably say only maybe 10% of them actually know that. Yeah, you're probably right. Do you think any of them have ever read the Constitution? Probably a couple. It's obvious they've left the Bible alone.

I mean, some of them probably have, I would think.

So here's the question that I put to the assembly today. Can you honestly say that you have been set apart from the world for God's service? Because we're supposed to be that. And so that's what I ask the folks.

now I want to go back over to 2 Corinthians chapter 4 and 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 3 and 4 but if our gospel be hid it is hid to them they are lost in whom the God of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine unto them now here these are those that have have heard the gospel and rejected the truth of the glorious gospel these are those that apostates that that that pervert they spin they twist the word of god to try to serve their purposes that lead people right into sin again why do you think we have 200 versions of the bible out there today it's only one version but there's 200 perversions isn't And it's because people want to change it to fit their personal opinions. Absolutely.

Now, you have the apostate church, and I'm talking about the UCC, the UMC, the Episcopal, the liberal Lutheran denominations, the liberal, what is called Baptist. They're not Baptist at all. These are all Protestant, but there are no Baptist involved in that. The Baptists and Protestants are not the same thing. But again, the vast majority of people out there don't know that.

Now, here, then again, you've got what they call the word of faith. Prosperity movement that turns the truth into lies by tickling the ears. And they play off the greed of people. professing Christians whose God is mammon. They fleece a gullible, gullible, gullible flock.

And some years ago, I had a fellow that came to me, and he saw where the money was. Him and his wife worked as a team. and he said to me, you know, the people out there, they trust you. They really trust you. And I took that as a compliment.

But he had this smirk on his face. He said, there's money to be made on this. What are you talking about? He said, look, he said, these people, they want they want to give us their money. I said, wait, are you talking about fleecing the flock?

Are you a part of that word? Yeah, he said, we're doing them a favor. We're doing them a favor. They want to be fleeced. They'll justify it any way they can.

Yeah, okay. And so here, his name was Walter. And there used to be a Pastor Lenz who was a co-host with me. He was actually my mentor. He founded several Baptist churches.

And he started just using derogatory torms towards Pastor Lentz. Because Pastor Lentz had preached out against the prosperity church. And so, again, like I said, this guy actually, well, he had taken me out, bought me a big steak dinner at this fancy restaurant. That's right. tempting you yeah and um telling me about the money that's out there to be made you know guys like gillic copeland yeah we could be eating these steak dinners every night pastor you could have yourself your own near jet right well he got me so angry so when we were back at the radio station when he went off on pastor lens i literally physically picked him up and he was as big as i I picked him up and physically threw him out the door, out into the driveway.

And that was the last I heard of Walter. But anyhow, let's take a look at now the true Christian as compared to the deceived Christian. And with that, we start over in Romans chapter 8. In Romans chapter 8, starting with verse 28 through 30, we read this, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. for whom God for whom he did foreknow he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the first born among many brethren moreover whom he did predestinate them he also called and whom he called them he also justified and whom he justified them he glorified there used to be a guy in a radio station called the gospel kid and unfortunately this fellow was not biblically literate but he had a program and he would be on there to preach and so one day as I'm driving into the radio station over there you had I was listening to him on the radio and he said, Jesus Christ died for every person in the world, everyone.

Can anyone tell me that he didn't die for everyone? What do you think? I think you probably called up. I did call up. And I said, let me help you out on this a little bit, okay?

being an older pastor and so on, and he got upset with me, and I said, literally, he didn't die for everyone. You see, God never fails at anything.

Okay.

And even though the last pope said he failed, humanly speaking, at Calvary.

Well, if he failed at Calvary, there's no sense to me and you being here tonight doing what we're doing. No point in the church, period. Right.

Right, and so, anyhow, so I called up and I told him, I said, well, God never fails in anything. Had he died for every person, every person would be saved. That's universal salvation, which they're preaching out there now, which has come back. That all sins have already been paid for and that everyone's going to heaven. Don't worry about, don't feel guilty about anything.

Just live your life, right?

so hopefully inaccurate you're not kidding about that and so here what I just read to you tells you very clearly who Christ died for he died for those that were called according to his purpose he also died for those to be conformed to his image of his son. He also died to them whom he called. He also justified those that he justified. He also died for those that he glorified.

So it tells you here in these verses, 28 through 30, exactly who Christ died for.

Now, let me tell you who he died for. He died for those to whom his blood was applied to. You see, only those who his blood was applied to were saved.

Now let me ask you this question. Because since you obviously are known not to be heteronormative, do you know what that means? I have no idea. That is one of the new woke words. Heteronormative means that you're a normal heterosexual.

I absolutely believe you're a heterosexual, but the normal part, I'm not sure. I don't know about that either. Definitely hetero, but I don't know about normal. Absolutely.

And so, here again, I lost my train of thought. What was I just saying? We were going over the people who Jesus died for. Oh, yeah, right. He died for, to whom his blood applied.

Now, do you think that his blood was sufficient enough to take away the sins of the entire world, which have been past, present, and future, which somewhere is around from day one to now, there had been about 150 billion people that have lived and died. Absolutely.

One drop would have been enough. Yeah. His blood was sufficient to take away the sins of all sins, past, present, and future. But it only took away the sins of those that it was applied to.

Now, how do you think God knew who to apply it to? Because God knows all. He knows how everyone's going to receive or reject his son.

So, is that on the basis of predestination? Yes.

Okay, so he looked, he knew them even before the foundations of the world, before, you know, we existed in the flesh, we existed in the mind of God. And so he knew who would receive and who would reject. and therefore his blood was applied in accordance, right? Mm-hmm. Gosh, you're smart, I'm telling you.

And so let's go over, now let's take a look to, going back over to the apostate church, the deceived Christians, the deceived Christian. Let's go over to Luke chapter 6. And in Luke chapter 6, for years I complained when I was grading papers about having to grade the papers, the writing of some people that I couldn't read their writing. Their writing was so bad. Atrocious.

And now I can't read my own writing. It seems like when your eyesight is inflicted, also your writing. And so, anyhow, in Luke chapter 6, verses 16. Oh, wait. Let's see.

Verses 46 through 49. Luke 6, 46 through 49. and they, and why call you me Lord, Lord, and not the things which I say, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like. He is like a man which built a house, and digged it deep and laid the foundation on a rock.

And when the flood arose and the stream beat vehemently upon that house, it could not shake it, for it was founded upon a rock. but he that heareth and doeth not is like a man that that without a foundation built a house upon the earth against which the stream did beat vehemently and immediately it fell and the man and the ruin of the house was was great so here he making a point When you talking about building a foundation the lifetime that God allows us is very short. The Bible says it's like a vapor that appears for an instant and then is gone forever. Compared that to eternity. The older that you get, the faster time passes.

Have you noticed that? Yes.

Yeah. I mean, really, it's remarkable. The older you get, the faster.

So Jesus here is that rock. And that's the rock that the fools will reject while they build their houses on worldly illusions out there. And, you know, here you've got, you know, I'm telling people all the time, you're not who you think you are. Let me just say this, okay? I held up my smart aleck phone today in the church.

I says, you know what? I said people have become so conditioned and so programmed that if I was to take away all your cell phones, you would probably just sit there and not know what to do or where to go. You would just sit there until something happened. And people have become that way, so conditioned.

Now, how do you know what's happening?

Well, how can you tell when you're being programmed? What makes you aware of these things?

Well, knowledge of Scripture, the knowledge of Scripture, allows you to understand, to give you a much better perspective when it comes to discernment. it's the knowledge of scripture you'll see things that the world out there does not see it goes right over their head doesn't want you to know absolutely and so you'll get like an intuition on things like something's off you know like like when covid and the vaccines and everything um i i believe that knowledge of scripture and everything kind of told a lot of people wait let's take a step back and and really examine what's going on here absolutely what about what about the whole concepts of dei and the whole woke process absolutely same thing what about this the teaching of evolution yeah that never made sense to me anyways okay has has there ever been has anyone ever seen and has there ever been any documentation of a creation that had no creator no it just doesn't make any sense well mathematically it's impossible yeah okay but yet they fall for that uh and so here that's by design without a doubt that's by design they're willfully trying to lead people astray do you know what Darwin said he said he was absolutely astonished that the fact that people would take hear the theories of a blooming young scientist that they would take the theories of a blooming young scientist and make a religion out of it and that's what they did and so here over in Luke chapter 6 you know what we just read 47 when it talks about that of course we know that Jesus is the rock okay he is that rock and God's word remember what he is he's also the word let's go over to and take a look now at well John chapter, you're familiar with this verses and that's the Gospel of John chapter 3 and I passed it all up again here Gospel of John chapter 3 verses 15 through 17 that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have eternal life for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son now here's remember what they just said what universal salvation says that God loves everybody right and everyone's saved that whosoever believeth in him should not perish. Is that the whole world? No. Is that a very small percentage of the world?

Unfortunately, I believe it is. Yeah. The Lord Jesus said, many are called, but few are chosen, but have everlasting life. To him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

So the purpose of the Lord Jesus was to come and give people the opportunity to repent of their sins, call upon him, believe upon him, and get saved, huh? Yeah, it was an escape from eternal damnation. Yeah, I would say so.

Well, and if we go on to read, he talks about those that refuse to believe upon the name of the Lord, okay? And, you know, you've heard people say, you know, it doesn't matter. I had a woman tell me once, it really doesn't matter what you believe as long as you truly believe it. I said, you know, I want to congratulate you. She had a smile on her face.

I said, that's actually one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. That's a pretty big deal. I'm sure you've heard a lot of dumb things. Yeah. And she got that distraught look on her face.

I said, that's kind of like saying, it doesn't matter what you breathe as long as you really breathe.

So here's some chlorine gas. Go at it, okay? It matters. You'll find out that it matters, okay? And so here, when they tell you that religions, there's a lot of religions and all roads lead to heaven, And that's one of the biggest lies that we're out there.

And do you remember when Larry King said to Joel Osteen, Joel, are you trying to tell me that me, a Jew, and that the Muslims, that we Jews and we Muslims, we have no chance of getting to heaven because we don't believe in Jesus?

So he asked Joel that, and Joel says, Well, Larry, I guess if your God is a good God. Uh-oh, that was the big one. I mean, listen, even those in the prosperity church are not that dumb. Even those, many of those in the prosperity church say, No, we only believe, oh, no, Jesus is the only way. Oh, he shouldn't have said that, right?

So that immediately affected Joe where his heart is. and that's the offering plate. He calls Larry King and says, you've got to let me back on. I've got to undo what I did.

Okay? And so they had that rehearsed. And so Larry King asks him the same question. Are you saying that only Christians, that Jews and Muslims can't go to heaven? And he said, well, Larry, when I was here last time, I made an error.

I made a mistake. You know, I'm a young preacher who never preaches from the Bible.

Okay.

That's your first mistake. Right.

And by the way, as far as I've been told, he's not even an ordained minister. And so here he said, yeah, I do believe. I'm going to have to say that you have to believe in Jesus Christ, that Jesus is the only way.

So he had to come back because he was losing money. And can you serve both God and mammon? No. The Bible says you're going to love one and hate the other, huh? Exactly.

Okay, now, in verse 18, he says, now we go over to those that rejected the Lord. and he says, Hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, and his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. And then in verse 36 he says, He that believeth not on the Son hath everlasting, he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, but he that believeth not on the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. And so, the true Christian believes upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The false Christian, and there are those out there, like he says, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. And that's your apostate church today. If they actually believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, do you think that they could get away with what they do? Absolutely not. They wouldn't be doing what they're doing.

Right.

And if they... Unless they wanted to ensure their damnation for some reason.

Well, if they were saved and they did what they're doing today, it would take them to the sin and to death. And to the sin and to death. We'll look at that here in a minute. Let's go over to the true church. And we look at the true church in Acts chapter 20.

and in Acts chapter 20 starting with verse 28 take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers to feed the church of God which he hath purchased us with his own blood for I know this that after my departure shall grievous wolves enter into among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise spreading perverse things to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch and remember that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn everyone night and day with tears.

Okay.

Okay, so here he's making a warning. As soon as I'm going, the wolves are waiting. What did he know? He knew that they were already within the congregation. They were in there, just like, you know, it's like with what happened with Trump in the deep state.

You had Barr and Bolton, all of these people, you know, Mike Pence. remember his very first attorney general the one who oh I'm having one of my senior moments right now but all of these people were supposedly they were patting him on the back and yet they had daggers in their hands didn't they and so here I remember one time when I had And there had been a woman who had been coming to our church for a while. It seems nice. She sat there and always smiled and listened to the message. Very friendly.

And then one day, I got bit by a brown recluse spider. Not only did he bite me, but you see, I had, in between services, I had taken a nap, and that spider had climbed upon my leg, had climbed inside my pant leg, it climbed inside my pant leg, and it bit me three times. Let me tell you what happens when the brown recluse spider bites you three times. It just wrecks your weekend. I imagine.

Yeah. and so what happened was I mean I was not in good shape for a while and so I had to I wasn able to preach I had somebody else took my place in the pulpit And that woman saw an opportunity okay before the other pastor got there here to go in the church and start telling the women in there that I was wrong about women being pastors, ordained ministries and being pastors, that I was wrong about that, and they shouldn't listen to that. Of course, the women didn't take it in the church. They told her to hit the road. Good.

Well, here, it was a while, probably about two or three weeks later, I got a sizable donation to the church in the mail, and a letter, and it was from her. And she was apologizing for what she did. She said, I was wrong. I never should have done that. And you were right.

And hopefully this will make up for what I did. And then she said, I'm just too embarrassed to come back to church. And so, anyhow, but.

Well, what happened then? Did she come back at all? No, no, she never did. But. I mean, that could have been a good learning experience for everyone.

and she could have came back and confessed, you know, to everyone that she was wrong. Yeah. Did you ever have to confess your sins like that? Yeah. I mean, not really all the time, but, I mean, anytime you're wrong or you do something wrong, you always own up to it.

Would you want to tell us now what they are? Not at the moment. I can't think of. You'll pass. You'll put me on the spot.

How about you? No. You know, when you're my age, you start losing your memory. Oh, yeah? I think I'm getting old, too.

You get a selective memory. I bet. It's a shame, huh? Yeah, yeah. You know, when I was younger, and my wife would have honeydew jobs, I had selective hearing but now that I'm old and the hearing it's shot for real it selects itself now you can't even hear the good stuff yeah and so yeah I remember we had some guys coming to our church and they were bringing in tracks and these were heretical tracks putting them on the table those that believed in soul sleep you know and just you know just all kinds of heresy in fact they actually had tracts and on the outside of the tracts they looked just like our tracts that we had but on the inside they said you know anyone who believed in the rapture of the church or anyone who believed that you could not lose your salvation then they they acquainted them where they had pictures of like little devils and demons who were preaching eternal salvation and that you could, you know, you couldn't lose your salvation or the rapture of the church and all these things.

They demonized them in these tracks on the inside. And it was, eventually I caught the guys. One day, I caught a guy that was coming, and I had forgotten something in the church, and I went back to get it, and he had come back and snuck in, and I caught him red-handed, putting the apostate tracks up on the table. What did he say? He was stuttering and everything, and he was apologizing all over the place, this and that, but he was really angry about what we were teaching just like I get these letters from these people just like these ones that are trying to push this universal salvation they get angry with you if you won't allow them they want me to give them a platform to preach that heresy that's not going to happen can you imagine spending all eternity in hell with the people that you helped to lead there?

Unbelievable. I would not want to be there. No. Let's go over to Philippians chapter 3. And in Philippians chapter 3, we read verses 18 through 21.

Well, let's start with 17 through 21. Brethren, be followers together of me and mark them which walk so as you have us for examples. For many walk of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, whose glory is in their shame and whose mind earthly things. For our conversation, now this word conversation, can you hear? Actually, that word there in Greek means citizenship.

It means citizenship. Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto the glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

So this here actually perfectly describes the prosperity church. Perfectly. Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly. That means the material things. Their God is material things.

You cannot serve God and man in both, can you? No. and that's what they try to do. They try to serve God and man. They try to walk a fine line, but there is no fine line.

You're on one side of it or the other. Absolutely.

And then in John, if we go back over there to the true church, John 15, 18, and 19, we read, If the world hate you, you know that it hated me before, hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his master, than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.

If they have kept my sayings, they will keep yours also. Boy, he was right on, wasn't he? Absolutely.

And so, if we go over to 1 John chapter 2 and in 1 John chapter 2 we read verses 15-17, these are those that are in the world and of the world. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. The world passes away, and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

And so we see this again today so many professing Christians spend many many many more times watching television or on their Facebook or their on their computers their notebooks or whatever than they do in the word of God don't they and yet the real treasure the real knowledge the extreme knowledge is in the word of God but they're trading that for what this world has to offer huh unfortunately I want to go over here to 1 John chapter 4 in 1 John chapter 4 verses 19 through 21 we read this we love him because he first loved us.

Now, I had to, today, I had to deal with some folks within the assembly that have not been getting along. And, you know, they come to you. They want you to pick a side. Yeah, yeah. They want you to pick a side.

They've got, see, now, here, and I reminded them today of this. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother. He is a liar, for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God where he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, that he who loved God loveth his brother also. And also, what does he tell you over in Proverbs 6?

That the six things, yes, seven, God hates.

So one of those things is he that causes division amongst the brethren, huh? Mm-hmm. So we all have enough enemies here today in this world out there, and the world would like nothing better than, you know, to do us harm. Yeah, no need to create more. Right.

Do you think if Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton could, say, make all the Christians vanish, they wouldn't? yeah they would absolutely in a heartbeat okay and so here what the Lord is talking about especially you know when he says judge not lest I'll be judged he's telling you don't hold each other up to higher standards than yourself and that's often what people they do they hold others to a higher standard where it comes to morals than themselves Now, I want to jump very close and quickly over to James chapter 4. And in James chapter 4, we're going to read verses 1 through 4.

Now, James is speaking here to the professing church. From whence comes wars and fighting among you? Come they not hence even of your lusts that war in your members? you lust and have not you kill and desire to have and cannot obtain you fight and war yet you have not because you ask not you ask and you receive not because you ask amiss that you may consume it upon your own lust you adulterers and adulteresses know you not that friendship with the world is enmity with God who's also therefore whoever therefore shall be a friend of the world is the enemy of God and again James is addressing those that are professing Christians right? And then I'm going to close here over in 1 John chapter 5 verses 14 through 17 and this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he heareth us and if we knew that he heareth us whatsoever we ask he knoweth that we have the petitions that we are desired of him.

If any man see his brother sent a sin that is not unto death, he shall ask and he shall give him life. For them that sin unto death, there is a sin unto death, I do not say that you shall pray for it. And all unrighteousness is a sin, and therefore it is not sin. I'm going to go back and read verse. 17 these things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God well we're out of time again for tonight so folks I want to thank you all for being here with us tonight and until tomorrow I want to say good night God bless and always, always keep fighting the fight.
