Death is always lurking nearby, just around the corner, and your soul could be required of you at any time. The Lord God Himself tells us that the vast majority of people who have a profession of faith aren't saved. They don't have a possession. It's not enough to just profess Jesus as Lord, but to be a doer of the word, not a hearer only, deceiving yourself.

This is What's Right, What's Left, with Pastor Ernie Sanders. Good evening, and welcome to another edition of What's Right, What's Left? The Voice of the Christian Resistance. on this August seventeenth, twenty twenty five and uh Tonight my co-host well, he's exceptionally talented. Yeah.

That's not funny. You got a lot more talent than you know. Allegedly. All righty. I'll I'll let you know what some of them are some day, but uh when you figure it out, let me know.

Yeah, all righty. We have a lot to get for and get through tonight.

So the title of this message is Could this be your final warning? Think about that.

Now here's the Here's the good news. Folks, you can hear us. We had hell week last week, the entire week. Uh we had nothing but radio problems. We got a hundred phone calls uh from people that were very upset because they couldn't hear the program and boy I'm gonna tell you We were too, and Um as far as the well, they've they've fixed the problem so so what they're telling me.

What do what do you know? I don't know anything. All I know is last Monday we had a lot of issues and that continued then throughout the week then. Throughout yeah, entirely throughout the week. This time it wasn't just our program.

Uh it was the others too. There were others that were having major programs too. And so major problems right there. And so, anyhow, But we praise the good Lord and Uh and what I was they were not real real clear on telling me what the problem was, so That might mean that there's some legalities involved or Uh, there might even be like I don't know, but I know Some years ago I had three people that worked I'm just gonna say for the phone company that that uh Uh one of them was in a high place. and when they were uh tried hacking into to me trying to take take us down and uh In fact, at one point they actually climbed a pole and disconnected the wires.

And the poll. The lengths that they'll go to. Yeah, well, just to try to silence the good word. It was it was the good word, but it was also at that time we were exposing a whole lot of what the Clintons were doing with me in Arkansas. the killings that were taking place.

And so And we had these problems that when I When I asked the people who that were in the know. Did you find out? And they said, Yeah, we found out. And uh I said, Who's doing it? He s they said, We can't we can't talk about that.

It's uh but you can figure it out we you know, if uh so, you know, so what they're basically telling me was the intelligence agency, the that were doing it. They were playing the games. And And right about that time too, remember it's when for about three weeks every day When I would come to the radio station, I would be Uh uh hi I'd have an FBI escort. Two guys in the same green, forest green car, leaking continental which Pick me up two young guys. But these were These were white hats.

These were not black hats. These were basically going through the motions. And um In other words, I was supposed to get a message. Oh, I got the message all right. But um Anyhow So This is just my opinion.

I have a feeling That some of that might have been in play.

Okay. on that and that's just by the response we're getting.

So I'm hoping Uh, now you remember, you know, I know Trump's w Trump's in charge there and I know that they've been purging, but they're a long way from purging all of these all of the deep state people. And so Anyhow, with all of that, let's get into the message. You know, Death is always lurking uh nearby, just around the corner. Uh and at any time Now your soul could be required of you. No.

The worst thing that could possibly happen to you. Uh is there A person A person is in self-deception. They They deceive themselves. You know, James 1:22 says, Be you a doer of the word, not a hearer only, deceiving your own self. what happens, there's a mindset out there of people That that think somehow if they just continually uh profess that uh Professor Their salvation profess that Jesus is the Lord.

That that that will do it. That's all they have to do. And But that's not all that has to be done, okay?

So first of all Let's take a look at this here. See, it's got to be for real. It's got to be for real. The Lord God Himself tells us that The vast majority of people who have a profession of faith aren't saved. They don't have a possession.

And so we start out in Matthew chapter 22 and verse 1. And Jesus answered and spake unto them again in parables. and said, No, Here Uh why do you think Jesus spoke in parables? I think it was probably a way to get a point across and to tell a story that would sink in a little more.

Well, and that that that has an application. But the when the Apostles asked him, Why do you only speak to the Pharisees there in the Sadducees? In parables, and his answer was. Uh It's it's uh for you it's given to no, but for them Since they are not going to receive me, they are not going to receive me, they're going to reject. Me, they're going to reject what I have to tell them.

So therefore it's more merciful for them if they don't completely understand. And so he goes on to say The kingdom of heaven.

Now listen carefully, okay? The kingdom of heaven is likened to a Certain king which made a marriage for his son.

So uh The marriage there actually means wedding feast. He means a wedding feast for his son.

So who do you think that that was he sayin'. the kingdom of heaven and he's likened it to A certain man, Oh. a certain man a king that made this wedding feast for his son. No. Here the sun Let me read the next verse.

and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding And they would not come.

So the question is here. Who is the who is the certain king? Who do you think that is? I think that would be God. The father.

Now, the Sun of course is the Lord Jesus Christ. Mm-hmm. Who are the servants. And he sent forth his servants to call them That were bidded to the wedding and they would not come.

So, who do you think? The servants, sir. Would that be us? That would be us. You'd be you're absolutely right.

No. Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Now, who do you think tho those the bidden are? The chosen ones. No, no, the bidding. He sends forth the servants to invite these guests that were invited to be guests at the wedding feast, okay?

Oh, would that be the Jewish people then? Yeah, yeah. Remember, this is still this is a Matthew. Yeah, and then they would not come. Yeah.

Right, so he goes on to say And again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bitten, behold, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and my fatlings have been killed. and all the things are ready, Coming to The marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways One due his farm, another to the Uh to his merchandise. And the remnant took his servants and entreated them spitefully and slew some of them.

So now Who do you think the people are those at which we're bidden?

Some were Where W those would be professing Here in this situation, professing legal subjects to the king, they would be his subjects. Oh. Today, we could say they would be Professing Christians, professing Christians. That are deceiving themselves about their salvation. They have convinced themselves that all is well.

Look, I you know, I I don't have to do anything. Um I'm good. I've I've already asked, you know, said that God's my Saviour. But They don't have any Uh there's there's no word je again, James 1.22. Be you doers of the word, not hearers only, deceiving yourselves, and James said, Faith without works is what is dead.

So now.

So there's no works with these people, right? Uh they they'll spend all day you know, on their phone or on the internet, you know, on Facebook, would very rarely pick up a Bible. Maybe they'll read the Bible once a week. Once a week, you know, when they get to church. Then the rest of the week.

They they just leave it set, right? And so Let me ask you this, okay. God makes it makes it very clear, right? That He has expectations of us.

Okay, we have obligations to him.

Now He created us to serve Him. Uh and so here There's a mindset out there, and of course, you see this really in the prosperity of the Word of Faith movement. That the expectations is what God can do for the people, what God can do for them. Yeah, they've got it reversed. Right.

So here Let's look at it this way. If every single, if God removed every single person off the face of the earth, How would that affect him? Um it wouldn't. It wouldn't. He did it once.

He removed 8 billion people back in the days of the flood. Yeah. And it didn't affect God at all, did it? No. But now what about the the people?

Oh, it affected them pretty good. Yeah. So here Uh God doesn't need us, but what if what if God ceased to be a God? Who sustains us? God does.

Right.

We we would have no blood flowing through our veins, we'd have no we'd have nothing. Right, w we would we would cease to be, wouldn't we? Yeah. And so Here He goes on to say And then some of those what about those that that killed his servants that killed the Christians. Who would those they be?

Um Well, I mean i in that time would that be like the Romans?

Well, well, today, uh the persecution of the church is worse today than it's ever been. Christians are being killed over planet all over planet earth, and what happens, the so-called legacy media, it could mean less to them. There's no Christians. Just completely ignore it. Right, okay.

And unfortunately, even in conservative, very few of us, very few of us, you know, continually update people about what's happening. Like in Nigeria where they, you know, cut fifty heads heads off fifty Christians at one time. How many pastors, uh They have been beaten to death, killed. Uh, Miss Treeter, we you know, we're we bring you that story as we tell you But most of for most of them out there, it's just not even newsworthy today because, by the way, they're only Christians. But when the king Heard Thereof.

He was rough. And he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. And so This has implications of a time coming, right, that we see. And what are we going to do? What we call that?

Well well, we call that a tribulation period, huh? Mm-hmm. Then said he, To his servants The wedding is ready. But they which were bidden, We're not worthy.

So now here. What happened when Israel rejected Messiah, when Messiah came and Israel rejected them, rejected him. What did he do?

Well, Uh let's read. Go you therefore into the highways. and as many as you shall find bid to them So When The Jews rejected him. Who did he turn to? He opened it up to everyone.

to us. That's right.

Now Was that something that was unexpected for God to do? Was that something that we just find out about over here in Romans chapter 11, where the church is grafted in? No. Huh, this was prophesied way back in the Old Testament that they were going to do this, right? Yeah.

And so here Now they had that. Did they at the time Have the writings of Isaiah. When they understood Isaiah 53, yeah, very well, they knew it inside and out. And yet they still rejected Messiah, huh? He goes on.

So these servants went out unto the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found both bad and good, and the wedding was furnished with with the guests. And when the king came in D'ye see? The guest He saw there was a man which had not Uh a wedding garment. What do you think that w the wedding garment i is? Um, I like in today's a Today's age, it would be a suit, you know, but uh it was probably A special Piece of clothing that they would wear?

Well, actually, what he's referring to is a robe of righteousness, a robe of righteousness.

So, a robe of righteousness is is salvation. In other words, Who did not believe in God, who had rejected God? In other words, who did not believe. And he says. And he said unto him, Friend, How comest thou hither not having a A wedding garment?

And he was speechless. Then said the king, to the servants bind him hand and foot. and take him away and cast him into utter darkness, and they shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.

So What do you think when when does that take place where They're bound And then thrown into the burning lake of fire. Um would that be after the tribulation? Weightrow and judgment. Yeah. Okay?

The way through and judgment.

Now that's Uh that's actually after the millennial kingdom.

Okay. Mm-hmm. when that takes when that takes place. And so Here Um Today those that rejected him we see would be Again, Give me some good examples of those that you you wouldn't think that Are the ones who have deceived themselves. Actually, convince themselves that Uh That they're in good standing with God, even though.

They don't the the thought never comes to them what they can do for God. The thought never th c comes to them to to be doers of the word, to go out to reach people with a the gospel message. When um And then go visit those in hospitals. Lo let me tell you why. Uh we rent a church building.

We have now we could have had a a big, nice, beautiful church building. The reason we didn't have, we after all these years is very simple. There were kids that were hungry right then, you see. And Do you think you ought to tell hungry kids, you know, Once we get our church building, they will give you some food. No.

That's not a good idea, no. Right.

There were children that were sick right there that needed help.

Okay. There were prison inmates who were in prison that needed a visit. There were people In the hospital.

So, our money went into the people. They went into the image of God. We didn't go into building projects. We understood that Um Hungry people, homeless people. Those in need.

One of the things that we did a lot. There were a lot of people and very cold winters That had no heating oil. And I can't tell you how many times we. filled the furnace, the oil tanks of Of uh people that had no heating oil for cold winters.

Okay, so that's where our money went. It didn't go into building projects, it went into doing that, okay. No. Would you say that that would that would be the goal of the Prosperity Church? No, not at all.

Bro. Where did their money go? Went all into the building projects and probably into a lot of pockets as well. into jet planes, into limousines, into Uh Yeah, into a lot of pockets. It went into, but it really didn't go to feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, did it?

No. And so Now those are people too that that would need They say, Well, You know And Joe Olstein made a comment there was There's one God And Well, he's called by different names. You know, we look at 'em, we look as the That Jesus Christ is the Lord Son of God, God the Son, but But here You know, you've got Buddha. And Um you've got the Hindus that I mean, we have one God, but we we recognize him differently.

Now you remember Rick Warden is Krizlam? Yuck. Where he tried to marry Chris Loman. Christianity and Islam, yeah.

Okay. I don't see how that works. That that that doesn't work and uh Uh the same thing with the socialist gospel where they're Yeah. Ernest Middleman and Uh Or they try to Uh Mary. the writings and the teachings of Karl Marx uh with with that of Christ, okay.

And but so the idea is, well, that there's one God. He's the he's uh we all just worship him with different names, okay? And of course uh You can't you can't be a Buddhist. Or a Hindu or Muslim, and believe In those guds And that What what what does God say about himself? He said there is none Beside me.

There's none other beside me, huh? Mm-hmm. And so Sure.

So when you take a look at those out there, these are some of of what he's these What this um Proverb is about us telling you that is mentioning these people that have convinced themselves Look, God must really love me. Look at the the house I live in. Look at the car that I'm driving Look at my bank account. Yeah, and so. When they asked the Lord Jesus Why does God allow the wicked to prosper.

Do you remember what his answer was? Um, wasn't it something like uh They'll enjoy happiness now or something because they won't have it later. Yeah, God in His mercy allows them. a little pleasure for a short season because that's as good as it's gonna get for them. Mm-hmm.

After that it they it goes south home. Yeah. And so the point that he's making here And the point that we're trying to make tonight is: have you made your salvation sure? Turn over to Matthew chapter 7. And In Matthew chapter 7.

We read, starting with verse thirteen. Enter you in at the straight gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction. And many there be which go therein. Because straight is the gate, And narrow is the way which leadeth Until life. and few there be that find it.

So He's telling you that there are a lot of people that have this profession of faith. Uh But they don't have the possession. See, this is the point he's trying to get across to them. Then he says here. Beware, by the way, That's the first time that word is used in the whole New Testament there.

Beware of the false prophets. which come to you in sheep's clothing, But inwardly they're ravening wolves. You shall know them by Therefore fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns? or figs.

Of this was So how do you how would you take a look in today's in today? Tell me that. Here you see Some ravening wolves Well, I mean, you just take a look at their works. you know, people who profess the faith, but don't actually do anything.

Well, some of them do things, but they're not good things. What about Al Sharpton said? that don't not only Does the Bible condone abortion or allow abortion? It condones it. I I think that's Blasphemy.

Yeah, well it's not blasphemy, but it's a lie. It's a flat out lie, right? What about those churches, the apostate churches, World National Councils? United Church of the Antichrist, United Methodists, those that have been embracing Abortion They embrace sodomy, they embrace pedophilia, they embrace this transgender thing, they embrace same-sex marriage. All of those things God's word the Bible calls abominations, right?

And so Here Th these would be wolves in sheep's clothing, wouldn't they? Yeah. Okay. So he goes on to say Even so, every good Tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth.

Evil. fruit neither can a corrupt tree bring forth Good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth Good fruit is found is hewed down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruit you shall know them. Do you think that it's a special hot place in hell for these pastors?

They they know it. Like today. Here you have Uh in the Episcopal United Church of the Antichrist, the World National Council of Churches. Especially in in United Church of Christ. More and more of those in the pulpit are women.

And not only are they women, but most of them are married To other women.

Okay. And so Here Uh These people I I believe Would you want to be In that lake of fire, with people that you led there, that you helped to lead there? Absolutely not. But no, yeah, that's that's what I like I said, I think there's a special hot place in hell. Yeah, for knowingly.

leading people astray. Absolutely. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. But he that doeth The will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied In the name And in thy name have cast out Devils and then I named many wonderful works And then I will profess unto them I never knew you.

Depart from me, you that work iniquity. It's called the White Throne Judgment, huh? Mm-hmm. So if we go over to Uh 1 Corinthians chapter 3. I mean, no.

Need that Second Corinthians chapter thirteen. Second Corinthians chapter 13. And so here Now I'll kind of give you a little because Paul uses. Uh, when he's he's speaking here Uh he's using terminology that would be Okay. You know, well-read as far as scripture goes, that are very biblically literate, but others that might be very confusing to them.

And so here Well, let's go. This is the third time I'm coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. I told you before, and I foretell, You, as if I were present, the second time, and being absent now, I write to them which hereunto have sinned, and to all others that if I come again I will not spare.

So here now, Paul's warning is that it's very quite possible. For persons to be Profess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and yet not be saved.

Okay? He goes through here, you can see that he's saying that many even. Maybe deceiving themselves by thinking, you know, by because of. all of the things that God's done for him that uh that they're they're saved. And so And and they think that if they just keep professing that Jesus Is Lord, then that's what's going to get him into heaven.

That's enough, right? Yeah, that's what they think. But he goes on, he says, Sikhi A proof of Christ Speaking to in me Which teal word is not weak, but mighty in hue. In other words, he sees what's he telling him here? He says, He's telling him to show him something.

that the Lord some works through him that the Lord has done through them.

Okay, that there's evidence that the Lord's working with them, huh? Mm-hmm. Okay, and so Here He goes on. For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. for we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him By the power of God towards you, Now he's talking about, Paul is talking about himself and the other apostles that through the power of God they're preaching, they're a witness.

to the pe to the people here at Corinth, though. Then he says this Examine yourselves whether you be In the faith Prove your own selves. Know you not your own selves, How that Jesus Christ is in you except you be reprobates.

So what do you think that means? Um can it Kind of saying, take a look in the mirror. You know whether or not you're doing what you should be doing. Yeah, he's telling them, Look, If you are saved and you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, Uh are you gonna want to serve God? Mm-hmm.

And so, if you're saved and you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, are you going to be spending most of your day. On the internet or on your phone or social in the the so called social Mm-hmm. Do you want to study the Bible? Do you want to get up and read God's Word, the Bible? Uh Wh which is going to be more important to you?

And then Are you a doer of the word not a heroi? Uh you know, we were talking about that. Have you Uh Have you gone out how many gospel tracts have you handed out? Pastor Hell always preaches on that. He said, you know, that the majority of professing Christians.

The majority of professing Christians have never handed out one gospel tract. Huh. That that is a is a complete I I just you know, that was really Hard to handle, right? Is it a hard thing to ha to hand out a gospel track? No.

Okay. Uh And many, many people have been saved over the years just by picking up a g by getting a gospel track and reading it. Mm-hmm. Many?

Okay. And so Here What about How many hungry people have you fed when they they've come for food? Have you visited those in prison or jails? Have you d have you gone to visit those in the nursing homes and the hospitals? These are things Christians do.

Right? Mm-hmm. I mean, if if you're professing Christians and And uh and I know a couple that will go and drive a long distance. to go to a concert. Mm.

But they'd never go to a nursing home. or out to eat. Right.

But um Here He says But I trust that you shall know That we are not reprobates. What if what's a reprobate? Um Isn't that uh kinda like hypocritical, like someone who's kind of professing one thing but doesn't truly believe it.

Well, in this situation, a reprobate is one who has failed A proof test. Yeah. You know, it it does behoove anyone who is doubting and disobeying God's word to carefully examine the reality. Uh of the professed convers conversion to Christ. Yeah.

Again, what Paul is saying here is basically every professing Christian needs to give some diligence to. to make their calling and their election sure, to make their calling and their election sure. He goes on to say For we can do nothing against the truth but for the truth. For we are glad When we are weak and and you are strong, And this is also we wish Even your perfection.

So What Paul is telling them is, look Um Do you think You know what we're doing here. that we're reprobates? Do is there proof Of our salvation? Is there proof of works?

Okay. Through faith in us. as we minister to you. He says, Therefore, I write these things being absent. lest being present I should use sharpness according to the power which the Lord hath given me.

to the edification and not to destruction. In other words, it's the second warning he gives. He gives two warnings here. Uh to them do you Have you examined yourself? Are you really saved?

Uh Why Are you angry at us when we tell you the truth? And so Then I want to go over to Galatia to um Galatians chapter four In Galatians chapter 4, verses 12 through 20. We read Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am. for I am as you are, you have not injured me at all. He's making a point here.

You know Oh Paul Had an issue here with his eyes. He had an issue with his boy And I I understand that now because Uh, I'm you know, I'm having more and more of a situation with the cataracts that, you know, uh But I hack can't have em removed just yet. Oh. Uh he was um He was treated well by them And, you know, in other words, He came and he was ministered and they treated very well, but. When he told them what they needed to hear and not what they wanted to hear, Um Their attitude changed.

He goes on to say You know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. And my temptation, which was in my nor reject in other words They said you didn't uh Uh reject me because of my my my problems I have with my eyes, with my eyesight, okay? Um you still accepted me even though I had this situation He goes on to say, But you received me As an angel of God, Even as Christ Jesus.

Well, That word angel there in the Greek that simply means minister a messenger, as a messenger. The Wherefore Is then The blessedness you spake of, for I bear you record That if it had been possible you would have plucked out your own eyes and have given them them to me.

So in other words, Paul is saying and the way that they were treating him Uh they were that they were trading him very good that very respectfully and Yeah. But now he says And I therefore am I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth. See, he's telling them here that they really need Um Two No two. prove their salvation here. He says They zealously affect you.

But not well. Yes, they would exclude you that you It might affect them. But it is good to be zealous, afflicted always in the good things, and not only when I am present with you. Uh my little children of whom I Treville and birth again Now listen to this.

Now listen carefully, all right? My little children of whom I travail, in birth again until Christ be formed anew until Christ What is he saying? Um He's saying like that that they were that They're being born again. And Um and that he's teaching them until Until they get it. Right.

That's exactly He says I desire to be present with you now And it changed my voice for doubt of you. What do you think he's doubting? Um probably Uh Probably doubting their He's doubting their salvation. Yeah, like whether or not they're actually. Saved.

Let's go over to 1 Peter. CHAPTER one And in 1 Peter chapter 1. Verses ten through fourteen.

Now Uh salvation Uh Is is there no way it's is it contention on human effort. Our effort we're not saved by anything we do, okay. It's by divine Uh Intervention which manifests itself by the in the person and the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, And you have people out there rem well, you weren't there when we had that big controversial There was a fellow there who had a program who was supposed to be a Bible study I'm a Bible teacher. But he was not a very good Bible teacher.

He was not biblically literate.

Okay. And One day I as I was heading into the radio station, He was on there and uh He said Did not Jesus die for everybody? Who could tell me out there that Jesus didn't die for everybody? Yeah. Well I you know, being a much older pastor, And had been teaching for quite a while longer than him.

I called in, I said, actually, he didn't die for everybody. And um He got all upset and I said, I I can show you and he he said, You have your own program. And he hung up on me. He was mad.

Okay. So I got to the radio station and Didn't As I was just about to explain to him, in fact, I had him sit down. I was going to show you what the Word of God says, because the Word of God is very specific on who Christ died for. And Then this other pastor had been listening to it and he come in And he came storming in there to rebuke this fellow just when I was finally going to be able to get him to and they got into a shouting match, And scared the woman receptionist that was in there, scared her. And she went and called the station manager and The station manager comes and he says, What's this all about?

And I said, well, there's just a question. Here that whether or not Um Christ died for everybody. And he said, of course, Christ died for everybody. Everybody knows that. I said, really?

Really? Uh where else then? And did Christ feel it? What do you mean?

Well, if he died for everybody, then everybody would be saved. Or Then God failed. But but if God fails, is God still God? Because because God says that He will do, okay. He will finish According to his purpose, that it'll get done.

Everything of his purpose will get done, right? Mm-hmm. Now, there's a difference between saying It's n it wasn't God's will that any would come short. But you see Here In fact, remember Pope Francis says that That humanly speaking, Christ failed at Calvary.

Well, if Christ failed at Calvary, there's no sense in me and you being here tonight. 'Cause everything we're doing would be What? be pointless. Would be in vain, right, be absolutely pointless, okay.

So God doesn't fail at anything. But if you go over to Romans chapter 8. Uh he tells you very specifically Who God di died for. Maybe we should. take a a j jump there very quickly.

And Uh here I'll just hit that very fast. Because that's actually a different a completely different message. But uh let me let me go over there real fast. And Let me just start here. Whatever.

I'm still I'm in Okay, here you go. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God. to them that are called according to his purpose. According to God's purpose. To whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate.

So Christ died for those that he foreknew, Christ died for those that he did predestinate. To be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called. Christ died for those that he called, right? Mm-hmm.

And when he And whom he called Them he also justified. Christ died for those that were justified, huh? And when he, and whom he had justified, them he also glorified.

So Christ died for those that he glorified, huh? Yes.

So. Uh, there's no stuttering, it's pretty specific, isn't it?

Okay. So we started in in First Peter chapter uh one verse ten wherefore the rather brethren Give diligence to make your calling and your election sure. For if you do these things, you shall never fall. In other words, he's saying, Be absolutely certain of your salvation. Can we be certain of our salvation?

Absolutely. Yeah, okay. And When you are certain of your salvation, does it come with that peace that passes all understanding? Yes.

Yeah. So For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly unto the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior and John Jesus. Jesus Christ. Wherefore I will not be neg negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them, and be established in the present truth. Yes, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up.

What is um And put you in remembrance. Um what is what does that mean to stir us up? He's saying something. to uh kind of awaken. Right.

Knowing that shortly I must put off my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ had showed me. Peter knew exactly how he was gonna die, huh? Mm-hmm. Uh and so In fact, he was crucified upside down. He didn't feel worthy to die the same way as his Lord, huh?

Mm-hmm. And so Also, when he's telling you there, when he used the term to stir up, that means to kind of. rally you, you know, if you Um if you're if you're watching two boxers and one of them You want one of 'em you want a you're a fan of one And you want him to win, you gotta cheer him on if you're at ringside, aren't you? What if you're you know, at at a football game? And you and you picked one team over the other.

You're going to root for that team, right?

Okay, so he he's Peter Is in this sense also saying in the same type of a sense that we root for each other.

Okay. Okay. And then I want to go over to Hebrews chapter 9. And in Hebrews chapter 9 Verses twenty seven and twenty eight. And as it is appointed unto men want to die But after this, the judgment.

Um So Christ was once offered The bear The sins of many And unto them That look for him Shall he appear? The second time Uh without Sin unto salvation.

So now Here it's a point in all man wants to die, right? We're all gonna die, right? That's the last act of living is to die. And then the judgment.

Okay, so in other words, we don't go and hang around purgatory for a while, do we? No. No. So once we die You're there's two kinds of people God's recognizing. The saved and the lost.

And now, there are a lot of people out there that don't like absolutes. They want. They want more choices. Yeah. Um you don't get more choices here, do you?

No. Okay. Uh and so here It's either or. Right.

It's either or, folks. And if you're out there listening, this is why I'm telling you. This is why it's it's so clear that you need to make your salvation sure, okay?

Now Christ was offered one time What about those people that say that, um, First of all, you can lose your salvation. And then you can get it back. I've had people say that they were saved, then they. They were never really saved then. Right.

Because you can't lose your salvation. No. It's not yours to lose. No. God keeps it in heaven, doesn't he?

Yes.

Okay. It was paid for for the most precious. substance that ever existed, the blood of Christ, and so God is a very wise God. He's not going to trust sinners to keep that because. If we could lose our salvation, we would lose our salvation, wouldn't we?

Absolutely. All that would take us is sin, huh? Yep. And so Huh? Again Here Well Well how do you How do you make your salvation sure?

Well You you allow God to work in you, don't you?

Okay. And I want to go over to And and we'll be closing here tonight in in uh Jude. twenty one through twenty three. Keep yourselves in the love of God. Looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

So What do we do? We keep ourselves in the love of God. How do we do that? By professing our faith and Not just being hearers of the word, being doers of the word. Absolutely.

We realize. that that um God has expectations of us. We have obligations to Him. Right? Do you think that those obligations, one of them is.

Reading his word? Yes, absolutely.

Okay. So we're to offer up our sacrifices. They're not bullocks or lambs or doves, are they? No. Our sacrifices are One praise to worship Three servas and four tithes, huh?

Mm-hmm. So we're to do these things. God expects us to do these, doesn't he? Yes.

And so he says And if some have compassion, Meeting. A difference. And others save with fear pulling them out of the fire. Halting or hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

So That garment spotted by the flesh is Yeah. is the The the body, the flesh of an unsaved person, huh? Mm-hmm. And so when he says point them out of the fire. What do you what do you think that means, pulling them out of the fire?

Um kind of leading them towards salvation. Absolutely. That's it, give her the gospel message and Uh because if they're saved, they're not going to the fire, are they? No. In fact, here in this when it talks about When it says um keeping yourselves In the love of God Looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus.

Christ unto eternal life. You know, this is the last. of uh Forty one Uh, New Testament occurrences of that that very phrase right there. And so the first was in Matthew nineteen, verse sixteen. And so that's exactly what we're supposed to do.

We're supposed to. Surely get the salvation. We're supposed to tell people what they need to hear, not what they want to hear, huh? Mm-hmm. And This is why The Lord Jesus made another statement over there when he said that Um Many are called.

Did we go through Matthew 7? I don't I don't remember. Let me just jump over there real quickly. And uh I think we passed Matthew seven up, but Uh let me let me go through there and Just just read the last part of that. Uh No, I think we we did read it.

Jesus said, Yeah. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord Lord. shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. But he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. And soon.

He goes on to say many say to that day Lord, Lord Have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Well You think God knew that they were doing it for themselves and not for him? No, of course. And then while I p Professing to them I never knew you Depart from me, you that work iniquity. And so, folks. The point that's all of what we talked about tonight is there are a lot of people that are self Uh deception.

And this is why James is deceiving your own selves.

So this is why it's so very important that you make your salvation sure. You make your salvation sure. And uh You do that.

So if you were writing out tonight, you're out there listening to me. And if you've never asked, called upon the Lord, or if you're wondering, am I truly saved?

Well, The one who has the answer to that is the Lord. You take it to Him in prayer, you go before the Lord. And uh and um Humility. and you pray earnestly and you ask God to show you To show you, to give you that peace that passes all understanding. That uh and then you you want to put Um Yeah, they Well for example, do you know what one of my prayers are often?

I asked the Lord to be Then not only do I want to hear those words, Well done, my good and faithful servant, but like King David, I'd like to be a a man after God's own heart. you know, uh like he said with King David.

Well, we're out of time for tonight.

So until tomorrow and Praise the Lord, we didn't have any problems tonight. And I want to hopefully, praise the Lord, we're not going to have problems again tomorrow because it's been a terrible week last week.

So until tomorrow, I want to say good night. Good night. I want to say God bless. God bless. And always, always, always keep.
