And tonight our reliable co-host is none other than Kenny Piosky. Good evening, Pastor. Good evening. And way out yonder he's back, he's back. Way out yonder.
That's right, the Missouri legend. Well, good evening. I'm working on my end trying to, you know, make a connection here. Do you hear me alright? Yeah, we can hear you. Okay, it's like I went blank there for a minute.
I'm on a satellite phone with a weird headset trying to make it work. So, hopefully the people, you know, it'll go well this evening. Alrighty. Well, you're coming in loud and clear here. Alright, good. Alrighty, very good. So, we're going to get started out there tonight.
But you know what I think I'll do? I was asked again this year to give the opening prayer for the Memorial Day Parade at the Veterans Park today. They had a nice parade. And I want to say that due to this radio program, folks, because we had advertised it, it turned out a whole lot more people came out because of our advertising of the parade out there in Newberry. And so, they asked me to give the invocation and the benediction and I did. And so, let me, I'd like to share that be Memorial Day, if that's okay.
And it kind of starts like this as we gather here to commemorate this beautiful sunny Memorial Day. Let us never ever forget those that came before us, those that sacrificed all to maintain those cherished, inalienable rights to life's liberty and the pursuit of happiness. From the war for independence until today, and every war in between, those that truly loved freedom were always ready to pay freedom's price.
And they did. We are the recipients of their sacrifice. And if the time ever come that we are not willing to pay freedom's price, we and those that come after us will not only lose liberty and freedom, we'll lose life as well. As for me, I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees, for what good is life without liberty? So I'll stand for what's right to the end of my days, and I'll ask Almighty God to teach me His ways and remember the greatest warrior that ever lived, the man of war in Exodus 15-3, the captain of the host in Joshua 5-13, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings in Revelation 19, the Lord Jesus Christ. So let us now petition our Lord to restore America so that we can once again be one nation under God with liberty and justice for all again. In Jesus' name we pray this prayer.
And that's the way I started out. Amen. And so with that, you know, and I gave the benediction, but I think that a lot of people there, unless they're biblically literate, and we had quite a crowd came out, in the closing prayer it went by saying that all of those saints that went before us will have one more battle yet to fight.
When they leave heaven after the tribulation period and return to earth at the Mount of Olives led by the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords to fight with the armies of the world, and that will be the final battle and the final victory. And, you know, when I think about it, probably a lot of those people there didn't understand that because they were not biblically literate. What do you think? I think you're absolutely right. I think so many people, especially, well, Catholics don't do a lot of Bible study, and a lot of the churches, the prosperity churches and stuff really don't go into deep scripture, and the Joel Holsteins and people like that aren't motivational speakers, not Bible teachers.
So I think you're right. I think that went over the head of a lot of people. Well, a lot of people that were there from our church, they understood, and so they did understand, and the commander understood. Revelation 19, chapter 19, and it's talking about the rider on the white horse whose name was faithful and true, who comes to judge in righteousness and make war, and it said, And the armies which were in heaven followed him. On white horses, those white horses mean war, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. The army that's coming with them are the saints, right? Absolutely. Those who have died.
Four categories. Right, all of those veterans, those old veterans there, the saints that went before us, going back to George Washington and before, they're all going to be gathered together, and heading back to, well, they're going to be heading right to Israel, to the Mount of Olives. And we see in Zechariah 14.
We're glorified bodies. Yeah. So we have a little bit of a change, right? Right, and we see in Zechariah, chapter 14, starting with verse 5, we see him returning to the earth and gathering in the Lord of Lords, we see Israel coming out, the one-third of the nation of Israel, the children of Abraham, who survived the one-third, being pursued by the armies of the world. And they head towards the Mount of Olives, which the Lord, just like he did in the day of battle, when he parted the Red Sea to the north and to the south, he parched the Mount of Olives to the north and to the south. And Israel, true Israel, goes into Shiloh, and when the armies of the world show up there, they run smack dab into the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, and his saints, his army, has come back prepared to do battle with the armies of the world. And it's not going to be, it's not going to end well for the armies of the world, but it ends very well for the saints, and it's their last and their final battle. We come out winners. I mean, this time it's the greatest, probably the greatest victory in the world, isn't it? Yeah, and Kenny's been waiting for that for a long time because he's never been able to ride a horse, and so...
I tried once, but I didn't fall off. Oh, man, why do I say such things? I don't know. Well, I tell you what, let's get into the Bible study because the title of the message was, Memorials Established by God and by Man. And what we're going to do is something different than we've done before. We're going to, because we went over this last night, but we never finished it. So we're going to pick up and start at the end of it, of this Bible study, and then for the rest of the week starting tomorrow, we'll go back and go through the beginning. So we start at the end of this, and that's in Esther chapter 9.
So Esther chapter 9, starting with verse 17, and here, you know, we're talking about the Feast of Purim. Now, let me go back and tell the folks, when we're talking about memorials, the Bible speaks of six memorials. Six memorials. Now, three established by God and three established by men. And the three that were established by God, obviously, were the Passover and Exodus chapter 12, and then you had the manna, the memorial of manna and the bread from heaven in Exodus 16. And then you had the institution, you had, well, the one that's instituted by the Lord Jesus himself, and that was in Luke 22, 19 to 20. And then you had those instituted by man, and that was in Genesis 28, Jacob's pillow, Jacob's stones, his stone altar. And then you had, in Joshua 22, you had all the way through 30, the altar at the Jordan River.
And we talked about that last night where there was a lot of confusion on what the altar stood for. But tonight we're going to pick it up when we're going to be talking about the Feast of Purim. And the annual Feast of Purim of the Jews was established by Esther and Mordecai as, well, of two days.
Remember, she was the queen there. And that's two days of feasting and joy and of sending portions one to another and also sending gifts to the poor in commemoration of their remarkable deliverance from their imminent annihilation. One more time, the devil tried to annihilate the nation of Israel as a people and nation, and the name Purim actually means lots. Now, that seems to be a strange name for a holiday, but it was based on Haman's evil device to cast a Pur, in other words, that is to cast a lot, to consume them and to destroy them. And when the month of Adar, which would be February to March, came, the decision by the lots, possibly specifically March stones, rather than helping Haman, turned out to have been so ordered by the Lord that a wait of almost a full year was required.
And thus provided a lot of apple time for all the events to be set in motion, which would finally bring old Haman's evil scheme and brought it right back upon his own head. And so we'll start here. Pastor Joe, would you start there and read, starting with verse 17, and read down, if you would, to verse 24.
17 to 24, all right. One thing I did want to point out in the verse 16, and it said they had rest from their enemies in slew of their foes, seventy and five thousand. That must have been quite a fight for their freedom.
Memorial Day, where you talk about freedom isn't free, I thought I just meant to throw that in. On the thirteenth day of the month, Adar, and on the fourteenth day of the same, rested day, and made it a day of feasting and gladness. But the Jews that were in Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth thereof, and on the fifteenth day of the same, they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness. Therefore the Jews of the villages that dwelt in the unwalled towns made the fourteenth day of the month of Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day of sending portions one to another.
And Mordecai wrote these things and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far, to establish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the year of the same yearly, as the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day, that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor. And the Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had written unto them, because Haman the son of Hamadathah the aggregate, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and it cast purr, that is, the lot to consume them and to destroy them. Okay, so now Haman just happened to be, do you remember that fellow, that king Agate, that Saul was supposed to kill, remember he was told to kill every, to go in there and kill even all the animals, and not to take any prisoners, and Saul decided to, he wanted to look like a good guy in the eyes of the people and spare this king, and so he did, in fact he tried to get, pull one over on God, and he kept the best of the animals too, instead of killing them all like God told him. Remember when Samuel came and said, what's this I hear, the bleeding, I hear the bleeding, where is this coming from? Well you know, here's what it was, we decided to keep these, the best of these animals so we could sacrifice them to God, you know.
Yeah, that's not what they were told to do. Yeah, and then he says, what's this, Agate, and well, you know, the people, the people wanted me to do this, I did it for the people, one didn't want me to kill him, and really, and so he said, bring him out here, and he brought him out there and he hewed him to pieces with a sword, okay. And now, see if God tells you to do something, it's not up to you to decide whether or not it's the right thing to do, right? I mean, if God says to do it, just do it, because, and I know that a lot of people say, well, isn't that just kind of blind worship? Yeah, we're talking about the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, why is it alright for God to do that and where it wouldn't be for you and me?
Well, he's the one who created all of us, it's by him and through him, all things in heaven and earth consist, he is called the supreme judge of the universe, he is the one who decides what's right, what's wrong, he's the one that makes the laws we're to live under, it's kind of like we owe him everything, and disobedience is not healthy when we are compared to him. See, you and I could take a gun and I could kill Kenny and you could kill Kenny, and I mean we wouldn't do that, but we could do that, right? And God wouldn't even need a gun to kill Kenny, God would just say you're history, right? But now, here's the difference, you see, God could kill Kenny and bring him back, we've seen him do that, he could kill you and bring you back, right? See, so we belong to him, he's got the right, he says, here's why, I give life and I take it and I give it back, okay, remember Job and his family and all that, okay?
That's right. And so, we don't have any business questioning God. Another thing, though, too, is God knows how everything's going to work out.
We don't know that. So, if he tells you to kill me and you don't, he knows that if you would have just listened, something better would have happened or something, you know what I'm saying? He knows the outcome of everything, so just listen.
He hasn't told me that yet, though, Kenny. I mean, I would assume you'd listen, so... Yeah, anyway, yeah, but see, here's the other thing, that answers another question, well, you know, when you say, well, how could God, how could God tell you to even kill the children, go in there and leave no one alive? Do you think, let me ask you this, okay, those children that are not at the age of accountability, when they die, where do they go? They'll go to heaven.
Directly to be with the Lord. Now, God is very familiar with what happens, what's going to happen to the children if he leaves them in the hands of these wicked people, okay, and a wicked nation, and so God is very merciful, merciful by taking these children home early and bringing them, you know, bringing them into glory early and really sparing them from all the pain in this world, huh? And so, that's, people don't consider that, and people ask me, well now, can you tell me why God allows little children, people to be born blind, or can you tell me why he allowed people to be born crippled or without arms and legs?
I know exactly why, you see, God has given you and me the opportunity to show mercy to these people, okay, the ones of us that have been blessed to be born with arms and legs in sight, he's given us an opportunity to show mercy, but not only do we have an opportunity, do we have an obligation? Yes, he tells us to take care of the sick and feed the hungry and care for the poor and fatherless, I mean, he's already told us what he expects and then he gives us the opportunities to be obedient to what he's asked us to do. So, God is way out in front and in complete control of all that's happening, right?
And so, we don't have any business questioning anything he says, do we? And the other thing, look at Job, everybody goes, look what happened to Job, but look at the reward, and that was an example to us how Job was rewarded, these other people that are born blind or crippled or have problems, Christ has a reward for them that we will not see, that we don't right now understand, but he has told us in so many words in Scripture, they will have their reward. Amen, absolutely. They will be blessed, and we have his word on it, right?
Yep, absolutely. So, here now, going back to 24, Haman was the grandson of that king, and he vowed to kill the Jews, he vowed to kill the Jews, okay? And so here now, so he goes, but when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device which he devised against the Jews should return upon his own head, and that he and his son should be hanged on the gallows. And so, remember what happened with Haman, remember the king had been going back through what had happened to previous things in his log, what they kept, they kept a diary, and he went back and he saw in there that Mordecai had warned him about those two that were going to assassinate him.
They had a plot to assassinate the king, and so he had warned that he was a whistleblower, so the king says, you know, this guy deserves, he deserves a reward, let's give him a parade. Well, when the king told Haman, we're going to, there's a special guy, and Haman was like the number two man, and in his arrogance, he thought this parade was for himself. And remember, he hated Mordecai, the reason he hated Mordecai is Mordecai would not bow down to him, he demanded, and Mordecai refused, he would only bow to God, and so, so here, you know, he was telling all his friends, we're going to have this parade, and I'm going to wear the king's crown, and the king's, I'm going to ride the king's horse. But it ended up being Mordecai, and Haman had to lead the horse, and he was like, this was the, the greatest dishonor could happen to him, he thought. And so, then he finds out that the king now realizes what, that he's, what his plot is against the Jews, and why he hates the Jews, and that, that would include even Esther the queen, so he goes to Esther to beg, he goes to Esther to beg, and Esther's in her bed, and her chamber's in her bed. And so, he climbs upon the bed, and he's begging her, and who walks in but the king, and he says, in my own bed, in my own, you know, in other words, he thought he caught some, some infidels of vortication going out there.
And so, that was the end of Mordecai, him and his, or Haman, him and his sons got hung upon the gallows that he built for Mordecai, and you know what, we'll be back right after this. To our troops, at home far away, I would make, once more, promise, hear me now, this is what I'd say. You are forever heroes, we won't forget you, we know the sacrifice you've made, forever heroes. God bless the King, you, you're the you, in the U.S.A. Here it was, to all the families of our troops, we share pride and pain with you. You are like stars, shine on forever, forever red and white and blue. You are forever heroes, we won't forget you, we know the sacrifice you've made, forever heroes. God bless the King, you, you're the you, in the U.S.A. O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife, who more than self their country love, and mercy more than life. America, America, God shed his grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea. Forever heroes, we won't forget you, we know the sacrifice you've made, forever heroes.
God bless and be you, you're the you, in the U.S.A. Forever heroes, the you, in the U.S.A. Joe, you had a story you wanted to tell. Yes, I did, kind of hard to tell, but when I first went to Vietnam, the young warrant officer helicopter pilot, I was assigned to a company, and when I got there, almost before anything happened, I was called in to see the company commander, and he wanted to talk to me, and he said they need gunship pilots. And had I considered being a gunship pilot, well, something I'd always thought I wanted, but he sat down and said, you're here as a replacement. Two weeks, just about, a little more, about two and a half weeks before I got there, two gunships had taken off, two B model guns. Four warrant officer pilots, four crew, door gunners, crew chiefs, and the flight turned up missing.
And they spent two weeks searching, trying to find the two helicopters and crew. And he was saying, you have to, you know, we don't put anybody in guns, it's a volunteer job. Sitting there, 19 years old, and I was listening to this, going, I'm replacing these guys who just lost their lives, we're pretty sure.
They weren't coming back. And I realized it was an honor to step into their shoes. And all of a sudden I grew up quickly that day, my whole life, my whole world changed. But I found out that so many people over there had died in the service of their country that sometimes I guess people back home, it doesn't really hit. You work with people, you see them die, you see their bodies being carried back in body bags. You realize some of these men you got to be very, very close to, they were brothers in arms.
You realize the risk that's taken. And we always remember the ones that died were the real heroes, they're the ones that paid the ultimate price. They were the ones that deserve all the medals for heroism. But from somebody who was there and had seen the war, been in the war, I guess I'm asking many out there to really take a moment, realize what so many people went through to defend God, family, country.
For most of our country's history, the bulk of the military were the Christian men, the men from the Midwest, often. And when a lot of us came back, one of the things I realized that so many of the veterans from NOM had problems with alcoholism, drugs. They became homeless and part of it was the, some of it was survivors' guilt, wondering why they lived when so many, there were over 58,000, what was it, 219 men died. So many others just horribly wounded, disfigured, lost their limbs. There was that horrible feeling of guilt, why you survived when they didn't, and then the welcoming by those on the left. And so many of the men could not, you know, that came back from World War I and II, got a hero's welcome, they were treated wonderfully. When so many came back from NOM, they were, many were treated horribly and were never able to handle that. Come back to the country that they watched their friends, their battle buddies die. Came back to a country that seemed to hate them and let alone appreciate their sacrifice. And I'm just hoping that if you haven't taken time to think today about the price of freedom.
It isn't free. An awful price has been paid. Well over a million men died. Millions and millions more have suffered horrible injuries.
Many more have suffered horrible spiritual, mental disorders, problems. And as today we have men out there, men and women in 140 countries in this world standing guard, knowing that they might be called at any time to give their life for this country. Too many times we look to Hollywood for stars and we worship the celebrities and follow their lives and care about them and all the sports heroes who won the game and made the most passes, hit the most runs. The real heroes were the everyday men and women who stood up to defend America so you could have your three-day holiday and barbecue and visit family. And we need to remember who the real heroes are, are the people who really deserve your respect, your awe, your gratitude.
And I hope that also you would pray for those who are still suffering, the homeless veterans, the addicted ones, the ones that are still hiding suffering from that survival's guilt, that you would hold them up in prayer this day and keep them in your prayers. I know I didn't say it very well, Pastor, but I hope the message got through. It did. It did. It got through. And Joe and Kenny, do you know who Chief Sakote is?
No. Chief Sakote was a Korean War veteran who's 94 years of age and since after the war, since he's come back, he's been living on Navajo Nation in Arizona. He finally, he finally got today, he got electricity for the first time, for the first time, now he was put on a top of the list in 2017, but he's been living there without any electricity. And so finally the company finally went out and they finally hooked up lines to his house and now he's got electricity in his house. And it wasn't a refrigerator or air conditioner. He wanted to try his power tools. He had power tools but no power.
Yeah, so he wanted to try his new drill and saw at the age of 94. But now listen to this. Here's something that's even harder to believe.
You ready? Would you believe me if I told you the Democrats did a good thing? The Democrats did something.
Come on. Well, judge for yourself, here's what they did. The Democrats joined in with Republicans, the Congressmen, the Democratic Congressmen joined the Republic Congressmen and went out to the Vietnam wall and they washed the wall together. What?
Yes, they did. They scrubbed that wall down and they scrubbed the town clean. I remember, I've been to that wall many times. I have many, many friends whose names are written in that wall.
You and me both. Yeah, and it was, well, John, one of the men in the church who also lost many friends, him and I walked that wall one day and just unbelievable how many of our friends were up on that wall. You know, and the worst part about it, they were young, you know, they were so young and you wanted to know why so many of the vets committed suicide. You know, back during World War II, you know, after the war, the war ended, you know, it was a week, maybe two weeks or maybe even a month before the men came back home and were out of the service and back home.
After Vietnam, it might have been two or three days, two or three days from going into a combat where there's no law, no total lawlessness until all of a sudden they're back here and things are totally different and it's like their mind can't adjust to it. And, you know, you see people, you know, you hear loud noise or whatever and, you know, it was just, you know, that was not the right way to do it. But anyhow. And Pastor, I have a story we need to tell. We were at the Washington, D.C. for Right to Life, I think we were there, the Right to Life march and several of us went over to the war memorial to pray. There were some people that asked us to pray for their sons or family members and I remember there were several of us there praying and the Park Police, whatever they were, came up and told us we couldn't pray. Well that wasn't the Right to Life, that was with Wiley Drake and that was, we went down there, remember Obama said we could not pray, we could not pray, any public pray in Jesus' name and so we went over there. Well, we went to the Capitol steps, we went to the Supreme Court, we prayed there, then we went over to, that was in the summertime and we went over to the Vietnam Memorial and we were praying and then somebody called the Capitol Police to tell us we couldn't pray and they came in horses, remember?
That's absurd. Well there were two times, that was another time, but one of the other times we had gone over, just a couple of us and I remember all the buses were there lined up and the same thing happened, they said we couldn't pray, I was also asked to do something personally and I remember telling them no, these were our battle buddies, these were our brothers in arms and we were going to pray and they said they might have to arrest us and they said all those buses up there, there's all kinds of Baptists and Preachers and I said you arrest us and you're going to have hundreds and thousands of people coming down here. I remember that.
Pray, hurry up and get done. Yeah, I remember that, I remember. I had to wait while I finished praying. And you know what, there's something too, this is a story, we went from there to the Korean Memorial, remember they had just put it in, the Korean Memorial. And it's a strange thing because the statues of these soldiers were, they were gray, they were gray and when we went over there it was a heavy fog had come in, a real heavy fog, so I'm in there and here the fog is so heavy that I'm thinking that these statues that are there are you guys that are with me. And I'm talking to them. And then I realized, yeah, I realized when the fog went, no. This guy's losing it. I was there and those were those, it was just the statues of the soldiers.
This guy's losing it, maybe he could be President. Yeah, there could be. Yeah, they'd have run me, Democrats would have run me for sure. Yeah.
None of them talked back, right? Do you remember a witch that's called into your program? Her name is Hillary, but you know. Oh yeah, I remember all about Hillary. Well, she made news today, they were having a Memorial Day message and parade there at Chappaqua. They had a parade and Hillary was there. And I remember she's a twice failed presidential hopeful and she and Bill were participated in this Memorial Day parade. So she told the press that today people have to come together and honor our fallen soldiers, right? So that's her line to the press.
But then she goes on X and she has this to say. She called on her supporters to bash Trump at their barbecues and gatherings. Quote, I'm giving you a mission for this memorial holiday weekend, Hillary said. I want you to talk to people, friends, neighbors, cookout attendees about why Trump's proposed budget is a disaster for the American kids.
We owe the next generation every chance and this isn't it. And she went on to talk about food insecurity and families are going to be poor and, you know, AI dangers and all kinds. They're cutting health care for all the Americans and all kinds of lies. So, you know, for the news reporters we're, you know, to come together and honor the fallen soldiers and then she goes and tries to do everything. Yeah, but you know what else she did, Joe? She went farther than that. She took some cheap shots at Republican women like Kristi Noane and that Levitt lady. And so she says that the reason she lost the election, by the way, she lost twice. The reason because of stupid, here's what her quote was, she lost the election because of stupid white women that listened to their husbands and voted against her. Okay, so can you believe that, that these women would listen to their husbands, right?
Okay. Oh, my wife would love to confront her. She called my wife stupid.
Or maybe these women were just smart. I don't think your wife would take it very well either, knowing her, right? No, my wife would get along with Hillary for a minute. I think both our wives would chase her out pretty fast, but this is what the left is like. Here's this really sacred day, important day, and she's out playing politics and trashing and causing trouble. And this is the left, folks. This is what they're really like.
They're evil, they're wicked. Yeah, Joe, she says Republican women are handmaidens to the patriots. Well, a handmaid is a good thing, okay, but to her, a woman that was subservient, oh, no, but then she said if a Republican woman was ever president, she wouldn't be president because she would be controlled by men.
So there you go. Okay, well, that just shows her level of intelligence, understanding, et cetera, right? Yeah. A Republican woman can't have her own thoughts and can't be educated and intelligent, in other words. And this is the party of, quote, tolerance, right? Yeah. The party of stupidity and lies.
Exactly. The character of the women like Kristi Noone and like that young live-out lady and these other Republican women, they're characters, and they're ladies, they're ladies. They don't have a foul mouth. Hillary has a foul mouth. I had to believe her five times when she called into the radio program, and that, you know, she has got a foul mouth, and not only that, but, you know, they put a thing on me when I went to D.C.
They were going to arrest me for criminal trespass if I walked into her office. Okay? It's not like Hillary, and remember what she said to Trump when she said it's a good thing a person with President Trump's temperament is down in office, and he said, yeah, because you'd be in jail. And that was, when he said that, that was the applause. I mean, that just, that debate was finished right there. It was the line of the night. Yeah, yeah.
The line of the campaign, actually, the entire campaign. Yeah, lock her up, lock her up. The thing is, too, for her to be speaking about Caroline Levitt and Kristi Noone like this, I mean, these women are extremely intelligent, and you can tell that by just listening to them talk. But they're ladies. They don't have that foul language. And they're ladies, yes.
You don't have that foul language. They have class. Right. What a difference it makes.
It makes a world of difference out there. We talked about the difference between females and ladies for one day, and there was a big article in the London Daily Mail, Memorial Day in Hollywood, and happy Memorial Day from blah, blah, blah, all these different stars, and what did they do? Oh, they all posed semi-naked and very provocative poses and very little clothing, and this was their way to give us a happy Memorial Day and showing off, you know, how... Where was that at in Hollywood? They had something going?
That was today? Is Joe there? He looks like he's still there. Joe, are you still there? Yes, I am. Yeah, you cut off for a second there.
Yeah, you were gone. So what you're talking about, did that take place today? Yeah, Memorial Day, these big article in London Daily Mail that Barker, Jenner, Blanco, Aniston, and they were all going around posing in bikinis and stuff for the Celebrate Memorial Day. And that's how they honored our fallen soldiers? That's how they honored the personnel who died. Yeah, well, I guess...
It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know that they were out, you know, promoting themselves, having sexy pictures taken, and happy Memorial Day. Let me almost flash something you shouldn't see. Yeah, you know that... I'm sorry, it's really aggravating.
I find it very offensive, aggravating, and no class. Yeah, I know. That Aniston woman that you were talking about, you see her, she was in a lot of that porno stuff. Anyhow, let me see, there's a couple things happening out there that we're going to hit real quick, and that was that Doge, I don't know if you saw the meeting that Doge had, that Elon Musk and all those guys that are working with Doge, but anyhow, the Institute of Peace was supporting the Taliban. Listen, this was their tax, now remember what Mad Maxine Waters said, this be our, that's our slush fund, that's our slush fund, she said.
They were giving $100 million, $100 million per year to the Taliban, and they also were buying private jets with our taxpayers' dollars, and that was supposed to be their slush funds. And so when Doge came, when the guys from Doge came to look at their books, they were greeted with loaded guns. Now this is the Institute of Peace, they greeted the Doge employees with loaded guns. There you go, the Institute of Peace, right? It's just like any other Democrat program.
It's the exact opposite of what it's supposed to be. But here's something else that happened, too. The Democrats were getting $50,000 per year for Apaca farmers in Peru, okay? So they were getting our tax dollars, not $50,000, $50 million, $50 million, okay? $50 million, wow, yeah. And for Apaca farms in Peru, but here's the kicker, the money never left Washington, D.C.
It never got to. Now, what do you think happened there? You've got administrative costs and overhead, Pastor Ernie, that's how the Democrats work.
It be the slush fund, that would have been a slush fund. Yeah, yeah. It's just amazing. All right, we're going to be coming up to a break pretty soon when we come back. Boy, we have a lot of stuff to cover tonight. I want to wish all you folks out there a happy Memorial Day. We had a great Memorial Day, and it was good to be out there with all the vets, all the old-timers. And I ran into a lot of people that come up and say, Hey, Pastor, and you know, time changed us.
Half the time, I didn't know who I was talking to, you know. Might have been statues. Yeah, but as folks, I haven't seen in years and years. Well, we're coming up to a break, so when we come back from the break, we have a whole lot more, so don't go away. A whole lot more to call.
